rukia kuchiki ~The day had started out like any other, mostly involving mountains of paperwork needing to be done. But that was nothing to bothersome for Rukia, but as the day progressed, it was like something nagging in the back of her mind. A feeling, sense that something was going on, or changed she wasn't completely sure, but none the less it was driving her nuts. At least 5 times in the matter of an hour, she had gotten up, pacing around her office, yet couldn't get this odd feeling, sensation, whatever you call it to leave.
It wasn't that Rukia was known for crap to happen, but this, this was totally different and yet she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Or course at this time, her brother, Byakuya would be off on assigment in the human world. Which meant she couldn't go to him for now and ask or seek some guidance. Another fact that irritated her, but she dealt with it the best she could. Violet eyes scanning over the papers she was going over, before she shook her head and stood up suddenly.~ "Damn it...why can't I concentrate! ~Her soft voice seemed to echo in the otherwise empty room, while she paced back and forth for a few moments. Hands clinched at her sides, she didn't like having things going on, that she herself wasn't known or able to control.
Stopping at the window, Rukia sucked in a breath, staring out a moment as those violet eyes looked out, not particularly at anything or anyone particular. Just wanting, needing something to help get her mind off, well whatever it was she was feeling, sensing at the moment. She couldn't work, couldn't seem to concentrate and it was driving her nuts. Hell she had debated finding Renji for a friendly spar, but even sparring didn't sound all that interesting. Though she did need to get back into some training, even if it was alone which she did often, finding being alone helped her concentrate better. Yet, having someone to point out things wasn't all that bad, just Rukia had those moments that were best left alone.~

Two years prior to Rin Minatsuki taking the position of Kido Captain, for anyone new to the Gotei 13, it would seem that the Kido Corps didn't even exist. They were an overly secretive bunch and not many people even knew who her Captain and Lieutenant where. More or less this is also what was expected of her when she was in the Kido Corps. Although after the deaths of her Captain and Lieutenant, Rin herself had abruptly became Captain of the Kido Corps after learning her Bankai during the invasion of Aizen. Ever since then, she had tried to make the Kido Corps a little more social with the other divisions. It seemed that no one missed her previous Captain or Lieutenant despite the fact of the part they played through the hundreds of years they where here. What distressed her the most was how young she was, only a hundred-thirty-one. To her knowledge she was one of the youngest Captains in the Gotei, and at times this concerned her greatly.
Although the fact of the matter was, she held hundreds more years of knowledge in her brain, only because of the absorption of her the previous Kido Captain and Lieutenant. These thoughts and more were plaguing her as she made an evening walk through the divisions. Today, she decided that she wanted to meet with Rukia Kuchiki, who was in fact the current Lieutenant of thirteenth division. As mentioned, she wanted to get more familiar with the other Captains and Lieutenants, of the divisions and not remain secretive like her predecessors. Although some secrets needed to be kept, such as the nature of her Bankai technique that only one other person in the Soul Society knew about, and that was Mr. Yama himself. Finally Rin made it to the sliding door of the thirteenth division and figured it polite to knock before she walked in.
"Rin Minatsuki, Kido Corps Captain, may I have a word?" she asked to no one in particular despite the fact she was looking for a person in particular. Now she waited for the response of who ever was on the other side, maybe she wouldn't get an answer. Who knows, they may of been elbow deep in paper work. Not everyone could be Rin Minatsuki, known not only for her incurable hunger, her lushness after a few drinks, and her headlessness, but also known to get her paper work done, quickly.

rukia kuchiki ~Still staring out the window, a breath slipped free, but thankfully she was feeling a little better. For the moment, she forced the odd feelings to the back of her mind, she had other things to deal with. Like this paperwork on her desk, yet even that wasn't going anywhere or going to get done right now. With a faint shake of her head, she really did consider going out, possible to the training area or just for a walk. Maybe some fresh air would do her a bit of good, she had been sitting in her office for a few hours.
Of course right as that idea hit, there was a knock and she turned. Violet eyes staring just before the voice came through and she raised a brow. The Kido Corps Captain was there to see her? Not that she minded anyone coming, just everyone was probably getting use to the new leader in that position. It was obvious they were alot different than the previous leader. Whether that was good or bad had yet to be found out. But than Rukia, unless given a reason didn't necessarily write someone off upon first meetings. Than again she hadn't really gotten to meet the woman one on one, just merely seen or heard her in passing. After a moment she moved towards her desk as she called out.~ "Come in Captain, the doors open." ~Taking her seat once more, she closed up the folders she had been working on and focused on what the Captain might need.
Waiting for her to come in, there would be a soft smile gracing the lieutenants face, before she would once more speak. The calmness once more there, along with a hint of curiousity.~ "What can I do for you Captain Minatsuki?"

The moment she heard the softness of the Lieutenants voice she then proceeded to open the door, her body appearing, and her obvious headlessness showing. She gave a short bow, and then took a seat across the desk from Rukia, as she asked her what she could do for her. "I thought it appropriate that I become familiar with all the Captains and Lieutenants of the Gotei 13. Unlike my predecessors, I plan to be... a little more sociable." She held a hand up to where her mouth would be, as she gave a light cough. "It's been two years since my previous Captains and Lieutenants passing, and I feel I was more or less just like them. I've remained rather secretive, and consumed with my learning, but now I feel it more appropriate that ever I make myself known, and make friends with the rest of the Gotei." She said all this in a matter of two breaths. Even though Rukia didn't know it, she was looking her in the eye, and she probably knew sooner or later she'd ask about her headlessness.
Although most people knew why she was headless. Not that she was really headless, but more or less that her head was just invisible. "There is no need Rukia Kuchiki to introduce yourself, I have memorized all the names of Captains, Lieutenants and even seated members in the Gotei and luckily you already know my name also." She gave a small smile, although she used her body language alone to show how calm and happy she was. "Actually.. is there anything I can do for you Lieutenant Kuchiki? I'm already all finished with my paper work..." She trailed off, now feeling somewhat awkward over all this, like she had done all of her work, and she was looking for someone else's to do, she truly was a busy-body.

rukia kuchiki ~As the door opened, Rukia had almost forgotten what she heard about this Captain, so she nearly gasped before catching herself. She had been curious about the rumors, although Rukia hadn't honestly put much into them. Still seeing the woman first hand, she had a million thoughts running through her mind. But as the other Captain spoke, she turned her attention to what was being said for the moment. A smile coming to her face slightly, as the woman spoke of wanting to know the Capts and Lieutenants. Made sense honestly.~ "That is always a good idea, especially when your the new person in town." ~Those violet hues, watching the woman's behavior, how she seemed to cover where her mouth would be, as coughed and had a feeling she would probably be smiling. Yet it couldn't be seen.~
"Forgive me Captain Minatsuki, but I have heard way to many things lately. And if this is known than I surely missed it. But...well how did you end up in this situation?" ~Motioning carefully about where the other woman's head would be, she was indeed curious on the how. But also on why nothing had been done to help, surely there as something to be found? She could only imagine what the Mayuri would be saying or thinking, no change that, she wouldn't want to know. That man weirded her out more than anyone. Shaking her head some as the mention of secretive and being consumed with learning came up. Rukia couldn't help disagreeing about it being bad.~ "I don't see a problem, personally, with being more secretive honestly. People have their reasons and unless it proves dangerous." ~Shrugging her shoulders some as she spoke, sure many disagreed with her, but she didn't care.
Briefly her mind flickering to the issues that had been bothering her, before taking in a breath. Trying to not let that odd feeling and sensation bother her again, she'd never get her work done if she did. Raising a brow some as she continued and couldn't help smiling a little more, yes most knew her. Adopted into the noble Kuchiki family did get her notability among others not always for the better. So she just nodded, it was at the offer of help if needed she blinked. A little surprised someone was done with their paperwork, but than they probably didn't have things plaguing their mind to distract them. Still talking about it with someone other than her brother, well she wasn't sure of. Didn't need people thinking she couldn't handle her position or something stupid.~ "Wish I could say the same about my paperwork, it's like I finish one group and another suddenly appears. But as far as doing anything for me...umm." ~Pausing a moment, thinking and looked down, brows furrowed debating with herself for a second.
It wasn't like she had any clue what was going on. Besides she needed to learn to trust others better, right? Still it was annoying being unsure of oneself.~

Rin had merely nodded at the first comment of Rukia's, but had made her head motion a little more exaggerated. She didn't have a head, but oddly enough she still had a neck. Although it appeared to be leading into a black abyss. Rin couldn't help but let out a girlish laugh at the question of Rukia's. It was only a matter of time before she asked, and she couldn't help but laugh a little longer before answering. "Ah! This. Well, I was kind of a cocky student when I was younger and let my intelligence get the better of me. I tried performing Kido far beyond my level, and well.. I made my head... invisible, they haven't been able to fix it since." She let out another little laugh to follow what she said, as she turned her head up at what Rukia said about being secretive, and she only gave another little nod to show she had gotten what she had said.
Then the last question she posed had come up, and she talked about the endless amount of paper work. She gave another little light chuckle, although it seemed something was on the Lieutenants mind. Watching her look down, she had a obvious show of concern on her face for the distressed Lieutenant. A few more seconds of silence passed by before she spoke. "You know, oddly enough I haven't spoken to very many females in the Gotei. It seems as if they are all hiding from me. So far I've had the pleasure of meeting Katsuro Susumu, Lieutenant of the 7th division, I ran into Shuuhei Hisagi, not really sure what to make of him yet, and then 3rd seat of division 2, Jashin Hakudoshi which my feels are more or the same as Shuuhei's." She decided to break the silence, speaking about a few of the people she had encountered recently since she came out of the Kido Corps barracks.
"I suppose its nice to meet people. All my friends have been mostly books. Although, I suppose books can't die on you, eh?" She said, her shoulders slumping a little bit. "I guess I really never made time for people between all my studies. I was too interested in kido, to really make friends I suppose." Her shoulders perking up a little bit as she spoke again. "But, I'm trying to change that now, and it starts with the Kido Corps Captain becoming more sociable. Although, I can't say the same for all of the Kido Corps. Some of them are a lot older than me, who am I to tell them to change, right?" Her neck adjusted so now she wasn't really looking down but up at Rukia. She was only a hundred-thirty-one years old, who was she to tell people who were hundreds of years older to change their secretive ways underneath her old Captain and Lieutenant? She wouldn't feel right if she just demanded them to be more sociable, even if she was their Captain and she had earned the position because of the learning of her Bankai at such a young age.
"Ah.. my apologies.. I am just such a blabber mouth.. I'm so used to talking to myself, it wouldn't be surprised if you were getting bored of me already." She let out another small laugh, once again attempting to lighten the dark mood she was imposing on the both of them.

rukia kuchiki ~Hearing the laugh, well it caught Rukia offguard a moment, wondering what she had said. But than slowly it had her lip twitching some, wanting to smile, just sure if it was a wise choice right now. But as Rin spoke, she furrowed her brow some curiously, but now understanding, how the woman ended up in this situation.~ "I've never heard of Kido doing that, but I suppose anything is possible. But it's odd no one has found a way to reverse it yet. " ~Shaking her head some, still looking at Rin, but now just curious about the Kido she used and the details. Being a Kido expert of course, had her mind going in a hundred didn't ways. Yet she pushed it aside, not wanting to upset or get Rin thinking about work, when she obviously came to to talk more casually. Besides, Rin was so calm and laid back, it was like she didn't seem to worry about her ordeal. Than again, maybe she wasn't.
As she seemed to find something else funny, Rukia relaxed more in her chair. Listening and was rather surprised by what she heard. But than remembered Rin saying she had been keeping to herself. Up until recently so it made sense. The few names she mentioned Rukia nodded and smiled some.~ "Can't say I know the Lieutenant of 7th divison or division 2's 3rd seat. But Shuuhei Hisagi, I do know, haven't exactly spoke to many much lately, unless I needed to." *No, unless there was a meeting, or she had to personally see someone, she hadn't been out much. Not that Rukia wasn't sociable, just had other things to do and preferred getting them done to socializing.
~Rukia hadn't realized Rin took notice of her silence and action of looking away. She just was trying to think what was her best course and if it was worth mentioning. Not like she had odd things happen all the time...well unless you count Ichigo Kurasaki than yes. With a sigh, she pushed that thought away and felt that odd sensation once more. It was agitating and annoying since she had no answers to how or why it was happening. But of course now wasn't the best time to be thinking on it. She had company and should be focused on them, after all Rin was trying to open up and become friends with the others. Not like Rukia couldn't use another friend around the Guards.~ "Don't feel bad. I'm a kido expert so i know the interest in it very well. But the fact of you studying more and not going out meeting others, doesn't mean its necessarily a bad thing. You wouldn't be the first more into their studies, than making friends so don't feel bad."
~Offering a smile as she spoke, before listening as Rin than mentioned about her own squad. Briefly nodding, as it did make sense. Why force a change? Could possible make for more trouble than it was worth, besides, Rukia was sure they would give her a better chance, once they got to know her more.~ "Let them come around, it probably just takes time to adjust to a new Captain and especially if they are use to a certain way of being trained by them. As you said don't force it, its their decision, you don't want more tension in the ranks, believe me." ~Shifting in her chair she smiled and couldn't help laughing softly, as Rin tried to apologize and Rukia held up her hand.~ "No apology is necessary, I'm fine just listening. I really don't mind, so your not blabbering believe me, I've been around those before and you are most certainly not it." ~Unable to keep the smile from her face, before she let out another more calmer breath. Feeling a little better just having someone to talk with. It was a nice change.~

It was nice to hear Rukia's input on her matters. Whether it had to do with her over studying on the Kido arts, her transition into the rank of Captain the past two years, or her horrible blabbering on. It was nice to see the smile of the Lieutenant and perhaps even take some much needed attention away from her paper work. "You know.. I honestly can't even remember what Kido I was trying to use. When I used the Kido it back fired, and gave me a nasty concussion." she said, rubbing her forehead out of habit. Even that many decades ago she felt like she could still feel the sting of her failure and stupidity. "Although, I wish you'd of been there to see the first person who found me. The thought me dead, missing a head with nothing but a neck-in-all." She let out another little laugh, remembering that the person who found her scream could be heard echoing throughout the academy. "Unfortunately the only good thing that has came out of me missing is my head, is that my hair stopped growing."
She let out another little chuckle. Her hand idly pulling at the strands of hair that hung messily around her head, since it was really hard to keep her hair tame, she tried to style it somewhat since she could still feel it, but see through it at the same time. It was a hard thing to describe, especially when people heard her speak, it was almost as if all these sounds were coming out of a neck stump rather than her mouth. "It's odd really, but I still do have a head, see?" She pulled out a some lip stick, of a fleshly color. She applied it on, and now she appeared to just have a floating pair of lips. "God, I'm sorry, I am really being goofy." She wiped it off on her sleeve of her Captain's robe.
She put her hands on either side of the chair rests, strumming her fingers for a brief second before speaking again. "I feel like I should be able to reverse this whole ordeal. I am the Captain of the Kido Corps. I even hold the knowledge of my predecessors before me but I still can't figure out what just caused it to disappear like that." She looked up at Rukia again, not even noticing that her face had gradually went further and further down. More or less looking at the desk rather than Rukia. "Ahaha.. I'm rambling again. I've only been a Captain for two years, and I was thrust into the position only after a war happened. I am sure there are several Captains, Lieutenants and even seated members who believe I'm not fit for the position. I'm just so young. Hundred-thirty-one years old. I mean, I know some of the other Captains are above three-hundred, if not five-hundreds or older?" She paused for a minute, as she brought her hand up to her lips, gently strumming her bottom lip. "I mean, even some of my seated members are older than me!" She paused again both of her hands coming to rest back down on the sides of the chair. "How would you feel having to take orders from someone younger than you?" She asked, knowing she was talking way too much.
"Oh..err.. you don't have to answer these questions. I came here to see if I could be of any assistance and help you. Not the other way around. Not a whole lot of people know about me, its just a bunch of rumors. More or less the only things people know about me is, one.. I don't have a head.. two.. I eat a lot, and three.. well.. lets not talk about three." Of course, number three was that after a few drinks she tended to hit on anyone, rather it be man or woman. She just felt so flirty, free, when she was drunk, she couldn't help herself.

rukia kuchiki ~Rukia was hoping to be someone Rin might wish to seek out if she ever wanted to talk. She enjoyed and wanted to help others, especially another shinigami like herself. The fact that Rin was the Kido Captain had nothing to do, but was a nice factor to consider mind you. When she spoke of not remembering, Rukia frowned some, but as she continued she could understand.~ "It is unfortunate you can't remember, but maybe hearing or seeing someone else perform that particular one, perhaps will help? I don't mean necessarily have your squad try ever one out there, but something might help give you a hint." ~The idea of having the squad do all the kido's was not even an option, it was a waste of time, not to mention take way to long to do. She'd have to watch each one and that would be to damn tedious. Still Rukia wanted to help, just at the moment couldn't think how.
Blinking her violet eyes some as Rin spoke of the day it happened, and could only imagine coming upon the scene. She would of done the same, scream thinking someone she knew was dead. The fact her hair stopped growing was interesting.~ "I probably would of screamed if I had found you, as for your hair stop growing. How do you feel? I mean that would be more a personal issue either loving it or hating it. But as for the issue yourself. Not sure you haven't already thought about it. But speaking with the Captain of Research and Development? Everyone knows he loves mysterious and is into all the scientific crap surely his team or him alone might be able to help." ~Than again even Rukia didn't want to be his experiment, but couldn't hurt right? At the moment she debated on that one.
Hearing the chuckle was nice, and she couldn't help feeling better just talking with another person. Hell she barely even paid attention to the missing head. Although when she demonstrated still having one, Rukia couldn't help the soft giggle. Seeing the bright lips floating was funny.~ "No no, your fine, that is rather funny seeing the colored lips just floating as if on their own. But your right, proves you still have your head just can't see it." ~Smiling still though as she seemed to fuss at herself for not finding the answer Rukia shook her head.~ "Hey, Rin relax. Your not expected to know all the answers and just because your captain. Well you said it yourself you got a concussion, so of course you might not remember. Don't let it get to you. I'm sure something will come to you or someone might find the answer, but don't let it make you feel like a failure. Your not, you proved yourself capable to be captain that is all that matters. Age, nothing else matters just don't anyone intimidate you, even older shinigami can have their asses handed to them. Not always by older more experienced fighters either." ~Smiling a little more, herself relaxed and enjoying this, she was glad to finally get to meet Rin better. Sure she heard the damn rumors, whispers, but ignored them till she could see for herself. And to Rukia, Rin was like anyone else doing her job, so what if she didn't have a visible head. So long as she knew and did her job that should be all that matters.~

It was nice to see someone who was so supportive of her, when it seemed that no one else supported her, or that even her own squad was failing her, it was nice to get some words of encouragement from none other than Rukia Kuchiki herself. Who really had a lot going for her, or so Rin had heard through the many grape vines of the Gotei 13. Taking her first suggestions in stride she replied back, "Actually within the last two years, I've performed every Kido that I am eligible at doing. At this point I either miss performed an incantation, or added to much or to little power to a Kido, or tried one that not even at my level can do. There is hundreds of variables, and nearly impossible for me or anyone else to ever figure out." She trailed off for a moment, as Rukia replied with how she would of reacted to her headlessness, more or less the way the person had found her had did.
Then she suggested that maybe she could get help from the Captain of the 12th division, and a visible shiver ran down her spine. "Ummm.. I'm not so sure about that. I mean, I've heard some rumors, and just the thoughts of them send shivers down my spine. I unfortunately have yet to grace the presence of the 12th division captain. Lets hope I run into the Captain, maybe what I've heard were nothing more than rumors." Once again Rin trailed off, as finally Rukia gave the young Captain even more encouragement. Telling her that age didn't matter, and that she shouldn't let other Captains intimidate her just because of her age alone. Although it was amazing at the speed she learned her Bankai and managed to save so many people that fateful day. "My apologies Lieutenant Kuchiki, I have just been in such a sour mood lately, and more or less your one of the first people I have actually vented too. I feel, that we both have our problems and I think we deserve to get away from them for a short while, if even a couple of hours." She pushed herself up and out of the chair, as she had a little bit of a bounce to her step. She grabbed a book that she had tucked away in her robe and from it she pulled a book mark.
Right in front of her very eyes the small book mark transformed into a sword. Three fourths of the sword was black, and once it got to the hilt of the sword it was pure white, and it lacked a sheath, since its sheathed form was a book mark after all with the same coloring. She took the tip of the sword and placed it on the floor, holding the bottom of the hilt with the flat of her right hand as she looked down at Kuchiki. "You know, I really shouldn't do this, but I feel, you've deserved it considering you've heard me complain for so long..." She trailed off for a moment, thinking over what she was going to do, and then nodding her head in confirmation of herself. "Is there ever a book that you've read, and wished you could but step into that word, if even only for a moment?" She questioned the Lieutenant, her body leaning on one foot and to another in excitement. "Any book at all? Name it, and I've almost bet you I have read it." She said with more giddiness in her voice. Waiting to see where the Lieutenants might have in mind for a destination, and it was possible at this point Rukia might just wondering what the hell she was going to do.
There was very few people who were familiar with her Bankai, and only one other person in the Gotei 13 who were familiar with the darker aspect of it. After she heard the book in question, she planned to yell out her call phrase for Shikai than proceed to go to Bankai after that. Then transporting the two into the world of Rukia's choice if only for but a short while. Who knew where this story was going to take them? The beaches of Europe? The castles of King Arther? Or perhaps the countries over seas? Only time would tell, an the destination would be decided by none other than Rukia herself.

rukia kuchiki ~Rukia wasn't one to make quick judgement about others, or at least tried not to anyhow. Besides Rin wasn't crazy, she honestly just had a turn of bad luck, wasn't like others didn't. So treating her differently just wasn't in the books for this Lieutenant. As she explained about going through the Kido's, well that she was capable of, Rukia sighed some. But nodded, it wouldn't be smart to push her luck trying to find it. So she was glad to hear Rin hadn't pushed the limits again on any of the Kido's she tested.~ "Hmm. Well it's probably a wise choice not to over power them again. But as you said there are just too many variables to really determine what you did." ~Furrowing her brow some, before letting out another breath, having to agree unfortunately with the Captain, at least for the moment. Still it was nice to see Rin wasn't letting this hold her back, so that was always a good sign.
It didn't go unnoticed the reaction to asking Captain of 12th division, and Rukia herself had to agree. He just was an odd one, most of the time wanting to experiment on the others for whatever reason. Rukia avoided him as much as possible.~ "I think it is safe to say, alot of us have heard the rumors. And believe me, I try and avoid that squad or at least its Captain, but as for the rumors. Well I'd hate to say they all pretty close to true. He has this desire to experiment on anyone or anything." ~Shivering some before she sighed softly and pushed those thoughts from her mind. Looking back up to Rin she smiled, shaking her head to the apology, though did raise a brow as she continued. Escape? Time away? Rukia pondered that for a moment quietly.~ "What do you mean?."
~Although right as soon as the question left her lips, those violet eyes widened. Seeing the book that Rin held, suddenly changing into a sword. Watching the Captain a moment curiously, seeing the tip against the ground before looking back up. As she spoke, Rukia shook her head and offered another smile.~ "It is really no big deal, your not a bother or anything believe me. I seem to be one a few choose to vent with, so I really don't mind." ~It was when she asked about a favorite book that Rukia blinked. Book? Her mind instantly began filtering through various stories for a moment, trying to think of a favorite.~ "Okay what about Avalon?" ~Curious to see what would happen, and if it got them away for even a short time, maybe it would help her relax or at least forget some.~

Wondering back to the Division after having spend the day wondering around and looking at the sky a little bit. The Captian found that his thoughts were distracted by the sound of voices that was nearby. Face palming the man wondered if there had been people who needed to talk to him, and now that meant he would be behind in his paper work. Not that he really minded it was simply that he didn't like to be behind. Things got disorginized that way, but when he got closer he relized that this wasn't just anyone who was talking. It was the some that he recongized more than others which made his eyes light up with glee... it was the voice of 'The Mistresses'.
It was term that Ryou appiled any female Captian or Lieutant, it was more of knightly thing than anything else. Turely the deepest term of respect he gave, and had a deeper reaching emotional root. Though that had been buried deep within him so long along ago, that it was now just covered up with the Cheshire-esque nature of Captian of the 13th Division. Now though all he could think about was what he was going to do to get a rise out of his junior today. Maybe even what books or tidbits of knowlege he could goad form his fellow Captian... or maybe he could be a bit annoying to her to. Closer and closer the man creeped to the office windows he wondered what it could possiably be talking about today, and half hoped it would be about candy. To get in Kurosawa didn't plan on taking the front door route. It wasn't exactlly any fun to do that... and plus he was 'off duty' at the moment as he liked to call it. Such a thought though soon got him yelled at by a voice in his ear that said, "Well you better get your rear back in gear and go on duty, before I whip that ass so hard you won't be able to sit down for weeks."
The sound of Ryou laughing at his own Zanpakuto's threat easily gave away his presence outside the window sill before he could be seen comically trying to climb inside. The Captian was quite the sight sometimes in everything he did, but that was simply because it was his way of relaxing... besides they were warriors, and death could strike at anytime. So their was no need to be so serious, of course that was only his more manic side talking. Which had been brought out by the hope he would get to see one of the mistress. Standing up and dusting himself off he was wearing his more gentlementally suit under his Captian's hatori... which was very obvious at the moment, "I just got thisss thing cleaned..." Looking around the kicthen he realized that he wasn't alone, when he noticed Rukia and Rin... that Cheshire-esque grin covered his face. It was covered up though, by the raven hair that covered over his face, only really leaving one of his dark black eyes visable as he waved at the pair sheepishly.
He always enjoyed having a Captian from a differnt division around, but that still did mean he wouldn't be as informal he was with his own 'family'... as he liked to consider his sqaud. At least considering who it was. He wasn't the type accepted by many groups after all, "My my Minatsuki-sssan it is nice to see you today, asss to you as well Rikua-chan. I hope I am not intruppting a conversssation betewwen you two ladiesss." Without any hesitation the Captian stepped forward and up onto the top of the desk were he sat indian style staring curiously at the pair.

All Rin could do was nod at what Rukia had said, that there was to many variables in the Kido spells to do them a hundred different ways to try and get the same outcome, and who knows? What if she did it wrong again and made another part disappear. Then it was funny to see Rukia agree with her about the feelings she had for the twelfth division captain and how truly odd she was. It seemed that the few rumors that she heard were oddly true. Rukia had confirmed this and she couldn't help this time but give a full body shiver, or more like a shudder, perhaps of even fear. She had heard such things of people being cut open, limbs being cut off, all without the use of an anesthesia. Although who even knew if those rumors were as bad as that, she could only assume at this point they were true because Rukia had a similar reaction to what she had.
It was good to see Rukia ponder over her favorite book, Rin standing there rather triumphantly with the flat of her hand against the bottom of the sword, as the tip of the sword stayed firmly into the wood of the floor. With the words of, "Avalon" her thoughts were consumed with the book. Avalon, was a legendary island featured in Arthurian legend. Hrm, that would be a truly beautiful sight to behold if they were to travel to the island. "Ohhh.. Avalon? The legendary island featured in legend?! Or am I thinking of the wrong book?" Rin was visibly happy at the choice of Avalon, but she was hoping it wasn't the wrong idea. That perhaps she was speaking of another book with the same name but she could only think of one other. Although her and Rukia's girlish peace was soon interrupted by the laughter of a man, as she looked towards the window to spot a man coming in. "Captain Ryou Kurosawa of the 13th squad..." She asked in a somewhat startled voice.
Rin wasn't expecting someone else to intrude into their conversation, and before Rukia's very eyes her zanpaktou went back its sealed state, her sealed state being a inflexible book mark that she decided to quickly tuck back into her robes. "Err.. Rukia, let's make a rain check on Avalon, okay. I promise I'll take you there sometime." Although it was probably unclear what Rin was exactly talking about, since not everyone was familiar with the nature of her Bankai. Her Bankai that could take them to the lands of any book in real time, a world where no one could access without her permission. So it would of been a world of pure peace for Rin and Rukia, where no one could gain access to them and they would of totally been in peace. Although with the intrusion of the Captain the little trip was going to have to be postponed.
Listening to the reply of the Captain she quickly replied back, "Actually Captain Kurosawa, you did interrupt us, but I suppose I can forgive the intrusion." She was still standing there, although her zanpaktou had since been sheathed and returned to its book mark state. Her eye brow raised as the Captain stepped forward and up onto the top of the desk, where he decided to sit Indian style, staring back and forth at the two since he was between them. "Is this what you usually do Captain Kurosawa? Get between, women?" She asked, with a little snicker as her voice had a tidbit of perversion in it.

rukia kuchiki ~Of course Rukia was trying to be encouraging, she wanted to help Rin and if for now it was just with advice. Well than so be it. She did hope that someday, something could be done, be nice to see the Captain, and be able to put a face to the voice. Rukia could only nod to the question about Avalon, a smile growing on her face, when Rin made sure it was the same story. Trying to think of if there was anything else about Avalon, before finally answering.~"Yes, you are thinking the same one." ~Though it seemed among the talking they now had another visitor, blinking her eyes she jerked her head towards the window and sighed softly. Rin beating her to the comment about the male entering. But she did raise a brow some.
Watching him a moment, before turning her attention back to Rin, noting the sword being returned. Guessing this wasn't something no longer happening, though as she spoke, Rukia did nod with a smile.~ "No problem. I look forward to it. So Captain Kurosawa, is there something I can help you with?" ~Unsure if he came for a specific reason, or just being nosy like seemed to be the norm with many. Not that Rukia would call him out on that fact, but didn't mean she couldn't thinking it. Eyes following him, though as he jumped up on the desk she raised a brow slightly, it seemed he was just going to make himself at home. Closing her eyes a moment, a slight irritated breath slipping free, before catching Rin's words to him. But than remembered what he had asked when he entered, and she honestly wondered if he was crazy. Was it the norm for men to think the worse of two females alone in a room? Reminded her of something that annoying mod soul Kon would do.~
"Captain you are not interrupting as Captain Minatsuki said, we were merely having a pleasant, relaxed conversation. Off of work for a change." ~Tilting her head some to the side, seeing him staring back between them, and wanted so much to be able to read a males mind just once. But than the reality of that idea hit and she quickly pushed it from her thoughts. The male mind, was NOT a place any female willingly wanted to be.~

"Yesss it is me... nothing to worry about. Jussst taking the high road inssstead of the low, though really ending up down here on the floor wasn't exactlly my idea of a high road." The Captain moved his fingers up to his head to tuck the long locks of raven hair back behind his ears, so that it would no longer cover over his face. Allowing the two female's to get a better look at his expressions during the coversation. It was an uncommon thing for the Captian to do, and usally he only did so with those he felt were trust worthy... this was probably the effect of having his Lieutenant in the room more than anything else. When it came to reading him being able to see Kurosawa's expression never really helped, as his face was simply with a knowing smile in the form a Cheshire like grin. It was obvious that Ryou knew he had intruppted somthing, the thing was that he had no idea what. He wasn't the type to ever assume that he did, since the male knew exactlly what it was that humans said about that word. He was curious though about that last sentance he had overheard form the other Captain.
"No Rukia I wouldn't sssay that. You jussst keep being your sssilly willy walnut head ssself ok. While I... well I am not sssure what." Pausing for a moment the man faded off, before suddenly jumping back in as though they where about to intruppt or leave him thier, "Hold on their now sssilly... I believe I have intruppted sssomthing very improtant Rukia-chan." He giggled in a manner that seemed like that of school girl as he turned and stared at Rin with his big dark doll eyes, "You sssomthing about going to Avalon... yesss yesss. Oh that sounds like such fun if we could, but why did you come along and steal my dear Rukia-chan and not invite me? Plusss we could go to Wonderland inssstead... much more fun chasssing around the Bunderssstach, or the pretty Chessshire cat." Laughing pounced off the end of the desk laying his top hat to the side before walking to Rukia and asking in mock curiousity, "Well I am gald to see that you are not up anything you would not want me to cacth you doing in your office. Though seriously... close your window for privite meetingsss Rukia-chan." The Captian normally treated his Vice Captian in brotherly manner... though wethier or not he thought of her as a older or younger sister seemed to change form day to day.
Laughing in his usual manic tone he simply ruffled her hair affectionately before returning to his spot on desk, "Well I am gald you ssspending time relaxing... for awhile thier I though I wasss going to have to treat you like the new guysss around the Divisssion. Let In'ei have sssome fun with you, ssso maybe you could learn to take a break and play." The child like manner with which he said showed that Ryou had a bit of twisted idea of play in some aspects. His Zanpakuto liked to be let out the bag to train people when it was allowed, and Rukia was his Vice Captian, so he didn't see a problem with arranage somthing. Rin on the other hand was proveing to be quite a bit more of a amusing person to have been injected into his day. The 13th Division Captian always found intellegence to be quite a repespectable thing, especially when one was willing to mix it in with a little low brow humor from time to time. To Kurosawa it was all a game that he could enjoy, plus their was the matter of the amused ear to ear grin that spread over his face that almost said, 'opphs... you read my mind'. The speed of his comeback to her words though showed that the Captian was certianly quick witted in this department, "Only bettewen the pretty onesss that I like Minatsuki-san... only bettewen the ones that I like."
