Rudianos, unfazed by the captain’s Bankai, strode forward, each step taken with deliberation. It was as if he was silently mocking his opponent, not judging him to even be worth rushing into battle with. “Interesting technique,” he said, as if admiring a piece of art, “I wonder what it does.” Rudianos tossed a pebble at it, though this seemed to have little effect. While it may have seemed like Rudianos was being cocky, he was just trying to waste time. He was sure he could outlast his foe in terms of stamina, and was simply attempting to wear Hayate down.
Without warning , Rudianos adopted a running stance, and began charging towards the pillar of light. He was well aware that this decision would likely not end well for him – but how else was he going to test it out? He couldn’t risk using a Bala, as those would be dodged all too easily by someone with the right training. His physical attacks weren’t much faster, granted, but the prospect of being charged by a towering mass of muscle usually caused most people to have a lapse in judgement, if only a temporary one. And it was on this that Rudianos placed his faith.
Rudianos, much to his own surprise, tore through the pillar, a Bala already charging up in his right fist. It was not intended for ranged purposes, however – more for amplifying his punch. Granted, given that it only had his own strength behind it to propel it, the Bala would likely not be as powerful as one launched by itself. However, Rudianos’ immense physical strength and stature was nothing to scoff at – it was something he was well-known for amongst the Espada, bar his nigh-obvious want for the higher seats of power. Eyes burning with malicious intent, Rudianos drew in close, his fist rocketing forwards.
