[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=Valign,top][atrb=style, width: 300px;] Li-Li was having a fun time sight seeing in Japan. She saw many things that didn't seem to exist in her Rural town. She had been to big towns before, but never got to explore them. Just looking was one thing, but experiencing was another. Of course, she got weird glances and awkward stares because Li-Li was obviously a tourist. Even if she had no camera supporting the claim, the fact that she was in awe at about nearly everything around was proof enough.
Li-Li had a wonderful idea. She always saw those big DanceDance Revolution things in the anime and movies, and she wanted to try it. She of course had no skills, but she'd throw herself into expert mode just for the hell of it. She was going to crazily dance on it for hours if she could. She didn't care if she became exhausted from the amount of energy she'd spend on it. She was determined to have fun, and became excited just thinking about it. Li-Li ran in a random direction, determined to find an arcade. She couldn't read japanese, so signs and directions were out of the way. She just had to look for a place with bright lights and lots of electronics.
Li-Li found a place like that, and she was sure it was an arcade. She didn't want to touch any of the machines, because they were too complicated for her to understand. She didn't want to end up breaking anything. Instead, she wanted to find the DDR machine and have fun with it. However, the farther she got into the place she thought was an arcade, the more upset she was with it. She couldn't find the machine anywhere. She wanted to ask around, but she only saw grumpy looking men who just stared at her as if she didn't belong.
She was getting kind of pissed with everything. Li-Li kicked one of the machines and stormed out of there, not caring if she did any damage to it. The owner of the store came out, yelling at her. However the he was speaking too fast for her to understand. She didn't want to have to deal with the man, so she just ran away as fast as she could, slowing down when she looked behind her and saw no one following. She was about a block and a half away when she decided to not go on further with her adventure and just find a place to eat. That seemed like a much simpler idea, and a much better one. She didn't know how to dance anyway.

While John’s time was usually eaten up by being deployed or by trainging, he did have the odd day off. Unfortunately for him, he had little idea of what to do on those days. His life had pretty much come to revolve around fighting, training, and meditation, and currently, none of those three things were an option. He didn’t want to get into a fight, he was already aching all over from yesterday’s session, and he’d had enough meditation that day to grow weary of it. So, in that light, he had decided to wander around town. It wasn’t was if there was much else to do.
He had played with the family cat for a while, however. He’d never particularly liked cats, if he was honest. Or dogs. Or any animal, now that he thought about it – he had shrugged this off as something not to worry about. After all, it wasn’t as if he was around enough to enjoy their company, or for them to gain any sort of trust in him. Dogs were the exception, but they seemed to blindly trust anybody. The cat didn’t remember him, which did not surprise him, but it did seem to remember what the sound of a tin of tuna being opened was like.
Wandering aimlessly about did little to aid him in curing his boredom, however. He was at a loss where entertainment was concerned, having no friends, family out on Consecro business, and the cat growing disinterested after it had had its fill of fish. He looked to his watch – there was still plenty of daylight to burn. It wasn’t early or late enough to warrant taking a nap, though now that he thought about it, he hadn’t had much of a lunch. Which, coincidentally, brought him into contact with a young brown-haired girl.
Oblivious to the first rule of chocolate bars (never share it with anyone) due to being cut off from much of society for extended periods, John offered the stranger a piece of the snack he was carrying. She certainly looked like she could use it.

..and my more-having would be as a sauce to make me hunger more.
The Sin of Greed; Danyoku Kiri
Mid-afternoon, or perhaps it was a tad later or earlier than that. It seemed a task to discern the time of day, and the woman was far better suited with the generic terms of day and night. What with the lack of sunlight so deep within the bowls of hell she’d long forgotten the positions of the sun that she’d once told time by so long ago. Another might have simply stopped to ask the time but unfortunately as the woman quickly discovered the denizens of the Living World could neither hear nor see this woman. They certainly could feel her wrath, however, in response to not giving her their attention. No doubt a body or two would be found at some point this day, but that was neither here nor there.
For the time being Danyoku Kiri was quite continent to wander the streets of Karakura Town aimlessly. There was still a great deal to see in this world, and she intended to lay eyes upon its entirety. For how better would she discern what was of value and worth adding to her growing collection of objects? This particular day her focus was on following the myriad of moving boxes that filled the streets of this modern world. Those horseless carriages intrigued her nearly as much as the moving picture boxes that had stolen her attention upon her initial arrival in this dimension. One carriage in particular had garnered the woman’s attention. A tiny little thing of a silvery hue. She’d mistaken the vehicle for a large moving bit of silver and of course wanted the giant precious metal for herself.
Fortunately enough for the driver of the small hybrid vehicle the woman’s gaze fell upon a particular pair of persons whilst she chased her prize from one block to the next. True, she probably could have caught and claimed the car for herself long ago in the chase, but a desire to leave the large moving box of silver unblemished forced her to wait until it had stopped. Ironically, the little silver hybrid didn’t encounter a single stop light and thus resulting in her having chased it so far. Yet, now…
“Oh my.” The words fell from Danyoku’s lips in a near whisper. Across the street from her stood a young woman, who admittedly was of no concern at the moment besides a general attractiveness that was attributed to most persons when they fell under the Sin of Greed’s gaze. It was the second person that was far more important. Some young man of ebon locks, unkempt of course. Though his frame was not particularly slender, something about the mess of hair atop his head brought a smile to Kiri’s face. ”Oh, Konji.” Her brother’s name was spoken with such reverence and love that it seemed to take wings and float lightly upon the air.
The young man, John, for all his youthful appearance had reminded her of a time so long ago. Particularly a moment, after a rather lengthy sparing session with their Uncle Kenzo, in which Konji had come inside his hair in shambles with not but a short while before important business associates were to visit to meet with their father. Always the more concerned with outward appearance, it was Kiri that cleaned her twin up and made him presentable. .. Ah, memories.
”Konji, Konji!” The woman yelled from across the street as she waved her right hand about frantically trying to capture the attention of the pair. Regardless of whether or not she was noticed she’d quickly make her way across the street to join them. ”Konji, it’s been so long. I’ve missed you! Who is this, is this a new girlfriend of yours?” She asked, obviously under the spell of some psychosis that lead her to believe John was her twin brother, Konji. The “new girlfriend”, Li-Li, was shot a woeful glance. How dare Konji share his love with another, the time of their separation be damned! ( The truth of how they became parted as well. )
”Hello young lady, I am Konji-kun’s sister; Danyoku.” She offered only the name of her family, omitting her first name entirely. That information was horded greedily to only be shared with those worthy of her affections and respect. Her brothers new love interest was neither. Never mind the fact that John was not her brother and Li-Li was not his love interest. The disdain that was steadily growing might have been apparent in the fact that Kiri neglected to bow in greeting the young woman. However, this thought might have been incorrect as the woman’s understanding of modern etiquette was completely lacking in favor of something far more outdated. ”Oh, you have chocolate! Give me some!” The woman went on to demand reaching out for what was left of John’s chocolate bar….

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=Valign,top][atrb=style, width: 300px;] Li-Li was sure she disrupted some sort of space time continuum thing, but she didn't care. If the machine were that important anyway, the man wouldn't have left it out in the open. Not my fault they didn't have what I wanted. They should've had a better arcade Her stomach growled after she angrily expressed herself in thought. She needed to get to a damn food place and soon. She was going to die if her hunger kept up like this. Li-Li was on the verge of throwing a tantrum when a boy approached her. She would have dismissed him from her presence if he weren't offering her some chocolate.
She was almost ecstatic. Almost. Then another girl came. She was apparently the guy's sister. At least she caught her savior's name, which was Konji. Li-Li bowed to Konji and his sister before almost grabbing the chocolate. Almost. His sister decided to take it upon herself to take it, which wasn't very kind. Li-Li crossed her arms and pouted. That wasn't very kind of her, but there was nothing Li-Li could do about it. Although it was pretty rude to offer up chocolate then give it to your sister. She didn't want any more food from them, just wanted to know why they did it.
"Well, Konji, Danyoku... some reason why you break my heart like this?" Li-Li asked them both, obviously upset at the fact that her food was taken from her before she got to enjoy it. There was just something about the situation that bothered her. She almost praised Konji for simply giving her something, only for him to play god and take it from her. Li-Li's delusional heart broke the moment she realized it was all probably just a ploy. "You two were planning on toying with me this whole time?" She looked at them with wide tearful eyes. Food was something to be taken seriously, yet it was being abused.

While he initially thought Kiri was talking to someone else, upon her directly addressing him after crossing the street, there was little doubt in his mind that he was being mistaken for someone else. And, while he would have normally just brushed it off with a deadpan response, something seemed off about the new arrival. It wasn’t just the immense spiritual pressure he felt from her, crushing though it was. It was her mannerisms – how she spoke, how she acted, she wasn’t right in the head. John stepped back a little, hands by his sides, ready to force a transformation at a moment’s notice. Not that it would do him much good, but he stood a better chance of surviving as the big guy.
“I don’t know who you are, or what you want, but I can assure you that I’m not this ‘Konji’ you speak of.” John backed up slightly, casually, attempting not to arouse any suspicion. It seemed fairly obvious that Kiri was a few sandwiches short of a picnic – and, coupled with the power he felt coming off of her, this was a situation that could only ever end with some sort of disaster, and with the distinct possibility of him being left face-down on the floor. His eyes, blank before, now possessed some form of intense focus – he was wary, and there was no mistaking it.
Not taking his eyes off of the Sin, John fished some change out from his pocket, and held it out towards Li-Li. “Take it. Take this and buy a new one. Hell, buy what you like. But run – for God’s sakes, run.” He didn’t know who Kiri was, and given his level of experience, it was no surprise that he couldn’t identify her as a sin. However, he knew enough to know that she was dangerous – and that Li-Li would have to leg it, if there was ever a battle. “There’s a little store just down the road from here. They should have something for you there.” Had someone who knew John came along, they would be worried as well – he usually never said much with any sort of notable tone, but the twinge of fear to his voice would leave them knowing that yes, his (potential) foe was dangerous.

..and my more-having would be as a sauce to make me hunger more.
The Sin of Greed; Danyoku Kiri
Chocolate! The woman was ecstatic to have her first taste of the exotic candy in centuries. Oh, how she enjoyed every morsel of the chocolaty delight! While she indulged of her stolen snack Li-Li was quickly becoming upset. Danyoku’d not show it but she took pleasure in the girls pain in some manner. If she truly was Konji’s new girlfriend then she definitely deserved it for taking a portion of her brothers love and affections from her. It wasn’t until she was done with the bar of deliciousness that she spoke; ”Don’t be sad, the chocolate was mine anyway.” She started. ”Besides, I don’t think Konji could be that cruel to have plotted hurting you – unless of course…” She paused for a moment as if search for the right words. ”Well anyway, how have you be-“ She’d decided to change the subject but suddenly Konji was saying the strangest things…
Danyoku’s jaw dropped in disbelief, which she quickly covered with her left hand. A gentle gasp came next before she brushed her somewhat long bangs out of her face. Her eyes wide and full of pain her voice was shattered and broken as she spoke; ”How could you say something like that, Konji?” Her arms fell to her side, and her body seemed to become heavy. ”Are you so ashamed of me that you’d deny me in front of your new girlfriend?”
She truly was hurt by this. How dare her brother chose this stranger over her so easily? The sorrow she felt quickly became anger. Her face narrowed into a scowl as John slowly backed away. He’d even gone so far as to issue a warning to the woman. So that’s how he was going to play it, huh? Why couldn’t he just put their past behind them and love hi sister like she’d always wanted. Her left hand slid to her hip, and she shifted her weight to her right leg.
”Humph!” This definitely wasn’t what it was supposed to be like when she was reunited with her beloved sibling. But, who’s fault was that? Definitely not her own she’d been nothing but kind and loving to her brother – save for all the murdering and such. The woman closed the distance between she and John in what seemed to be an instant and ran her slender fingers along his chin. ”I love you, Konji, so I’ll forgive you if you take it back, okay?” She said as she did so and leaned to lay her head on his shoulder as best she could given that she was two inches shorter than the young man. ”Oh, and you’ll have to break up with her.” She added as she wrapped her right arm around John’s body and pointed at Li-Li with her left. ”That way I can have all of your love.” She paused to look up at the boy of unkempt ebony locks. ”Okay~?” A wide grin accompanied the word.
Despite her current psychosis and the seeming possibility that she might lash out at them at any moment, the woman was actually far less concerned with violence. At least for the moment, not to mention these persons were so much weaker than her that they’d not been targets for her covetous nature and thus were free of her failtastic attempts at stealing abilities and power for herself.
”So, since that’s settled,” She started assuming that John had agreed, though whether he did or not wouldn’t affect her statement. ”She can be mine.” That’s right, not okay for Konji to share his love but the girl must have been worth something and since he’s obviously agreed to only give his love Danyoku she’d happily add the woman to her collection of things she called hers.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=Valign,top][atrb=style, width: 300px;] Li-Li wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but she knew she didn't like it. She walked into some crazy incest world inhabited by freaks. She didn't know who was telling the truth, the guy or the girl, but she was leaning towards the guy because the girl ate her chocolate. And no one eats her chocolate. Not even weird chicks with lesbian hair cuts. No. Especially not those. Li-Li decided to take the matters into her own hands, since the boy wasn't being very effective.
"Lady, look. I don't know what you talking 'bout, but you sound crazy. Li-Li sighed as she continued on, not wanting to break the news to her. "He say he not Konji, maybe he not Konji. Can you listen? And I am not Konji girlfriend. Okay?" Li-Li hoped that message got through to the woman, because if not there was going to be a serious issue. More of an issue than there was already.
"Now, back to real problem." Li-Li placed her hands on her hips and made an annoyed face at both of them. "Who replace chocolate or buy me lunch? Li-Li hungry." she pointed a finger at the woman in anger "You destroy Li-Li's snack! she held her finger in the air pointed at the woman, putting emphasis on her anger. She needed food, and these people were stopping her from getting it.
Li-Li lowered her arm and turned back to the boy who originally gave her the food. She out on a soft expression and tried to speak so only he could hear her. "This woman insane. Handle your business better? Or is she crazy stalker? We call police? Whatever it takes to get Li-Li her food quicker" She began speaking in third person, which was a sign to those who knew her how upset she was. None of this was getting her food, and she didn't want to pretend to care about the situation going on longer than she needed to.

“Listen closely, woman. I don’t want to repeat myself. This is not my girlfriend. I am not your Konjii. And I most certainly am not-“ John was about to continue his tirade for a good few sentences more, but was cut off by the sudden contact Danyoku made with him. For a moment, he resisted. He would, naturally. He had been trained to do so, and training was all he really knew, considering his status in the Consecro was practically ‘human weapon’. However, after those few moments, he stopped resisting. It took him a few moments to figure out why – and even when he did, he wasn’t particularly sure he wanted to let go.
John had, for years, been largely isolated from any real forms of love or companionship. And here was someone convinced that he was her brother, one that she seemed to love… Perhaps a little more than was natural, but that was hardly the point. And, while her ‘love’ was madness-induced, it was the only kind he had experienced since he had been forced into becoming some sort of expendable human missile for his bosses. Involuntarily, he reached his hand towards Danyoku’s, with the sort of affection a small child would its mother. His eyes, normally placid, had gone blank, and had glazed over. It certainly didn’t look as if he was in control of himself any longer.
John was in the process of leaning his own head on the Sin’s, but his sanity kicked back in before he could do anything more drastic than that. He was already holding her hand – which he put down slowly. He didn’t want this. This wasn’t love. This was obsession. He may have been desperate for someone to give him a hug and tell him everything was going to be fine, but to go this far… He couldn’t do it. Softly, he moved her off of him, and looked at her, straight in the eyes. With an expression more sincere than he thought he could muster, he spoke.
“I’m not your brother. II don’t know who you’re looking for, what he looks like, or what he does. But, I can assure you, I’m not him. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, but I can’t help you. I know what it is to be lonely, though, if that’s what you’re getting at. I can’t love you like your brother did… But if you need a friend, I can be one.” Any sane person would see that John was telling the truth – though, given who he was talking to, saying this was a long shot in itself. Besides, he was holding her by the shoulders at a dangerously close proximity. Who was to say she wouldn’t just grab him and run off? It wasn’t as if even the big guy could stop her if she did.
“Li-li… is that your name? Well, whatever your name is, if you’re going to get some food, could you bring me and our friend here something back to eat as well? We’ll stay here, I promise.” John handed out enough money for a cheap meal for one person – presumably, for Li-li, in order to make up for her chocolate being taken. However, what he mouthed gave of a different vibe entirely. “Run,” he mouthed, “Don’t look back.” To Danyoku, it would likely just look like he had something in his throat. To Li-li, if she was able to lip-read, or see the desperate expression on his face, the message was clear – take the money, and get out before you get hurt.
