..and my more-having would be as a sauce to make me hunger more.
The Sin of Greed; Danyoku Kiri
An ominous gloom perpetually filled this place, a darkness who’s tendrils were only broken by the redish-orange glow of lava veins. Canal’s which twisted and wound haphazardly through the landscape, at times ceasing their horizontal snaking to climb large irregular columns of blackened volcanic stone – magma long since hardened over the countless millennia. Far off just beyond where the eye could see a pillar of lava erupted upward, violently assaulting and offending the sky gods who replied in kind with jagged fingers of lightning which lapped at the terrain’s black flesh. Further the echoed cries of some poor soul reached out like arms to tug at the ears of all who would listen. It was a mangled and choked thing alluding to the Togabito’s fate as lunch for a wandering Kushanada, or perhaps it had been struck down by another Togabito. It was impossible to tell from so very far away.
Or maybe it had not happened at all, maybe this was some memory clouding a fading consciousness that struggled to retain its grasp on the threads of reality. How difficult a task when one by all rights is dead – and yet what meaning does death have in this forsaken place? Even has this disembodied mind pondered the meaning of such a question already organs had begun to reform, each new bit of flesh producing an audible pop and squish like sound. Soon eyes that had not seen in so long would open, but first they’d require the bits of the skull that held them in place – a simple task. When finally those crimson irises gazed upon her world they did so with short lived remorse. The emotion was quickly replaced by anger, anger for those that had put her here, those that would deny her what she felt was hers; everything.
..and still more of her body regenerated, arms found shoulders, legs found hips. Her flesh mended itself, removed the blemishes of tooth marks and bits that were completely missing. Time was lost during the process, becoming some relative thing that could have been a minute or millennia. The woman would never know, nor would she seem to care.
As if some rift in the dimensions of reality had been torn before her sudden images began to play out filling her minds eye with the visages of various warriors, none of which she could truly make out or recognize. But their power… power that seemed so capable of moving mountains – it intrigued her to no end. Oh the wonderful things she could do with such great power. A sly grin slipped across crusted and dehydrated lips, which despite were beginning to find their original plump and healthy nature once more. Oh, think of the wonderful things…
Driven by this new desire, this new hunger Danyoku Kiri, the particular woman in question began to writhe about within the myriad of chains which now held her complete and healthy body to the ebony pillar that had become her prison. She’d not be able to explain her ability to eventually escape those chains, though she would nonetheless. Perhaps, it was some product of the gates of Hell having recently opened. Whatever the case may be it was of no concern to the woman. One might say it bad luck to look a gift horse in the mouth, yes?
Days would pass before the woman found passage from the realm of Hell into that of Earth. When she did finally locate the great set of doors that had been left open for all manner of nastiness to escape the woman hesitated for a moment. How long, how long had it been since she’d set foot outside of this hellish place? Too long, far too long would be the correct answer without a doubt. Like so many accounts of near death experiences the woman stepped into the light.
”Oh my…” Her breath was drawn back into her body, and a hand moved to cover her mouth. To say the modern world was a shocking surprise would belittle the sensation the woman felt. Oh, what wonderful new toys to play with. It would all be hers soon enough. All of it…
The woman’s hand fell from her mouth, to hang lazily at her side, the opposite hand taking up a position upon her hip. Here it would caress the green fabric of the Sin’s dress, fingers playing against the bits of exposed flesh belonging to her left thigh. Eye lids closed slowly, deliberately, as she drew in a deep breath which was subsequently exhaled equally. She could barely remember the last time that she’d tasted air so fresh, at least in relation to that of Hell. Her eyes open once more, Danyoku tilted her head back slightly to settle to her crimson gaze on the grayed night sky above. Thick and heavy cloud cover had moved in over the city, a thing that would bring rain before the night was over, no doubt.
”I do hope so.” Kiri replied to the thought of rain out loud despite being in the presence of only herself. As she spoke the woman tugged at the aquamarine leatherish jacket that she wore, which caused the katana upon her back to shift ever so slightly. ”Now what to do first?” She continued to speak aloud whilst she started through the city of Naruki.
Wide eyed she absorbed all the sights. What wondrous inventions man had made for himself. Their horses had been forgone in favor of strange boxes that seemed capable of propelling themselves of their own fruition. Lights as bright as the sun itself robbed darkness of its icy embrace on the landscape. Even the people themselves, though so few in number at this time of night, dressed in manners that seemed so luxurious and beautiful. So it would be her luck that those few she saw were club goers, most of which dressed for establishments geared toward an older crowd. Oh, if only she could have this all for herself.
Kiri paused for a moment to inspect her own reflection in the glass of some local shop. She’d remain for a few moments longer than one might have expected alluding to at least some sense of vanity. Nodding in agreement that her attire still far outclassed all those she’d seen the woman continued on. The collecting of items could wait for a moment, first on her agenda was exploration. There was far too much to be seen to be bothered with stealing lesser garments off the backs of their wearers.
”How much time has passed that man has come so far?” She asked aloud as she came upon an electronics store. Through the window of this store could be seen a myriad of computers, t.v’s and various other electronic items. The t.v’s themselves were what had caught the woman’s attention and prompted her question. Upon them images moved about promoting the latest live action series that seemed to be based around a battle against kaiju in giant mechanical monsters. Danyoku would mistake this for a representation of the world itself. ”Has the world really become such a place?”
She’d remain here watching t.v for a while longer, perhaps longer than she should have…

Words: 812. Notes: Damn typos Tags: Kiri The mind: a great weapon and an evengreater weakness Fingers tapped against cloth covered knees. Pointer down, middle up; this seemingly mundane task continued for minutes as a second pair of fingers tapped against a well defined, chiseled chin. Thoughts were racing through the mind of this particular Obelisk. Like to start with, why he was being sent all the way to Naruki City. Why him, and not one of the more combat oriented Obelisks? Ace, as he was known by the monastery, was best suited for interrogation, intelligence gathering, and while learning an area was literally a moments task for him, he would always know Karakura best. Spending the majority of his life within the spiritually aware city, this was where he had learned most about his powers, where he found most others like him, and where he gained his position. Still, he had a job, and he would do it as best he could.
A moment later the car stopped; Ace's fingers all stopped at once, sky blue lit up eyes staring outward of the blackened glass, lights and city noise could be heard from all around them. The driver started to speak, but Ace rose his hand to stop the man from speaking. Simply nodding and giving the driver a fake smile, he stepped from the automobile. 'I'll send word to HQ if I run into any serious trouble. Thanks for the lift.' The words didn't leave his lips, but instead simply echoed within the realm of the drivers mind. He looked frightened, his head turning from side to side, trying to get a good idea of where it came from. Chuckling, he tapped on the glass, his eyes losing their glowing aspect as he smiled, and waved him to drive off. If what Ace had felt a moment ago turned out to be true, he needed the area to be free of anyone that could get hurt.
Walking down the street, Ace left walked the sidewalk, his eyes scanning the area while he kept his senses geared toward a very particular sensation. This sensation resonated well with the Elder Obelisk; it was that of a Sin. A very dangerous, and powerful form of the Togabito race. Why one was all the way out here, in Naruki city, was beyond him. Ace's attention was quickly turned to an elder woman, probably around seventy walking with a large bag. Two young men, probably around the age of twenty-one, came running out of the bar, pushing and shoving one another. One of them rammed into the woman, quickly turning his head and looking at the spilled groceries. He scoffed before taking off with his friend. "Some people can be so uncaring..." Ace muttered, before leaning down and helping the woman gather her things. She grumbled to herself, but smiled at the Obelisk.
He embodied kindness, and portraying that sense of morality was of the utmost importance. Once the two of them finished gathering the food, Ace bowed before his attention was brought to a very particular woman, across the way. She dressed like no one he had ever seen, at least no human. His eyes squinted before they shot back open. This was it, this was the thing he had been looking for since arriving in Naruki city. He tilted his head to the side, something was off. This thing, it wasn't attacking anyone, or anything for that matter. It was just standing there. Ace sighed, taking out the small brain replica, and muttering a few words to himself. "Memory Sculptor of Thoughts." The words muttered, and in that same instant his eyes took on a very similar glow. His irises vanished, being taken over by a sky blue. He attuned his reiatsu to each different Obelisk, one at a time repeating the same message. 'To all Obelisks. I have encountered what feels like a Sin in strength. However, it doesn't seem to be doing anything, except watching television. I'm going to investigate, perhaps extract some information from it.'
He was sure that it would feel strange, and he was sure he had alerted it. His reiatsu changing frequency ever so slightly. He started walking toward it, grasping the lining of his hood and lifting it over his head. A shadow coming down over his forehead, covering his eyes while only being enhanced by the darkness of the night life. Two glowing eyes peering through the darkness. Ace stood beside the demon. He opened his mouth, trying to keep the conversation direct, and his intentions subtle. "I'm curious...what brings someone of your...stature....to the human world? Certainly the television isn't that interesting. A smile came across his lips, his job may have been the eradication of all of the Sins, but he was still kind..or so his job directed him to be so. And he would play that part to the best of his abilities.

..and my more-having would be as a sauce to make me hunger more.
The Sin of Greed; Danyoku Kiri
The pictures which moved about within their tiny box amused the woman to no end. Ironically, it was the commercials that had been of the most enjoyment, however. There was a allure to the objects and items that they portrayed that made the woman hunger for all manner of things, whether it be a small package of noodles, or a brand new… what were those things called, those moving metal boxes with eyes that glowed so brightly. She’d not know the word for car, but it could be assumed she’d learn it soon enough.
Oh, but if only she could hear the things that the tiny people in the box were saying. Her left hand rose slowly to lay against the smooth glass that separated her from her desired toy. If only she could reach through this blasted barrier and take what she felt so rightfully belonged to her now. â€I will have you little box and you will tell me the tales of this world.†The woman said with a slight smirk.
Were it not for this new, and certainly strange sensation she’d have made good on that promise. Yet, something… she couldn’t quite put a finger on it, but it was certainly powerful enough to have registered. The woman, despite this, didn’t bother to avert her gaze however. No, no these tiny little people in this bright box were far more interesting at the moment. What good would some inkling of might do her? Not a bit. The woman, though still facing the window turned her head slightly as though the motion would bring some menacing monster into view that she might covet its power. Ironically, Ace had approached her from the opposite direction.
Eyes of a crimson hue gazed upon the man, his face hidden by the hood he wore. The slight glow of his eyes reflected off the glass in such a way that he became far more interesting than the television ever had been. â€Television.†The word rolled of her tongue as though she meant to taste it. â€I was going to name it; Isshun.†She said, her tone betraying that though that her idea was far better. The term was a reference to the story of the one-inch boy from Osaka, so aptly named Issun-boshi. â€That’s more fitting a name for this strange realm of little people isn’t it?†She continued. It seemed the woman was ignoring the bits of his initial statement that seemed to denote his knowing that she was in fact not human. However, this was not true.
â€The Human world…†She was now staring into those glowing eyes of his, albeit by means of the glass in front of them. â€You say it as though I am not human, and that this is not my home as well.†Her head shifted about as if she were searching for something within the landscape. â€Though, this does not look like Osaka, but given the state of the world I assume Osaka no longer looks like Osaka.†She paused for a moment. â€Hn.†She followed the soft grunt with a suck of her teeth. â€Why do your eyes glow? Are you some kind of Oni, a god perhaps?†Preliminary questions to better discern the nature of the power she was coming to desire for herself.
Slender fingers ran through the somewhat long alabaster bangs that had fallen over her face, brushing them out of her sight to reveal the entirety of her face. As she did so, she turned to face the man finally. Now facing him her arms were folded across her chest just beneath the swell of her breasts, thus partially covering the long scar that ran down her torso. One might wonder why she chose to bear this never healing mark to the world, and her answer would be a definite and resounding; ‘because it’s mine and I can.’ No more words on her part, instead she listen to whatever explanation he might offer to her question.

Words: 871. Notes: Better post I hope Tags: Kiri The mind: a great weapon and an evengreater weakness So what Ace saw in front of him was in fact a woman. He wasn't sure; what with the way the world worked now, rather than how it did years prior. His head didn't move, his eyes staring off into the nothingness of his own reflection as he listened to the woman. However to passer-byres, he would simply be standing there, perhaps watching the televisions that seemed to repeat itself, stuck in the same dance of reruns, ads, and commercials. Something was off though; this woman was off. At least, that's how it seemed. She said the word like she had never heard it before; And she would name it...'Isshun?' Ace didn't react physically, but his inner-self tilted his head ever so slightly. This was strange; from his experience (and other's) Sins of this strength at least understood the world they lived in now. They knew basic things, like cars, the years, and televisions. 'Interesting' "Isshun? Maybe. If it were called that from it's introduction, I don't see why not." He kept his response quick, something he felt like he'd be doing a lot of this night. Still, the woman was obviously naive when it came to this world, it was strange to see.
Ace kept a bridge to his mind closed, for now. He wasn't sure what this woman could do. The same could be said for her when it came to the man that stood in front of her. He was an unknown, and the way she had been acting, and the way she rolled the word seemed most strange, as if she were new to this time. Ace brushed it off, perhaps it was simply ignorance. Still, he wouldn't entirely toss aside the notion that she was, in fact, new to this world.
Now this was becoming most strange. Ace's head physically shifted, turning ever so slightly, evidence of his curiosity. Did she honestly think she were still human? Could Sins truly only recall their human life? Ace was never able to extract information from a Sin before; they were rather skilled at keeping away from his grasp. Not that they knew what he was capable of, Ace made sure to keep his powers, and his entire being a secret. Still, Ace nodded in response. "Indeed I did." He kept his response short, his body still facing the glass. He did learn something of the woman, given it wasn't a lie. She was from Osaka. Perhaps before she died and was sent to hell? The idea was absurd, and it lent itself to religion far too much for Ace's taste. "Perhaps not."
Ace smiled under his hood. The commercial that was playing was of a particular Camel. He couldn't hear the sound, but he had seen the commercial before in his own time, his attention once more being taken back to the woman; she was starting to ask him question directly. While she hadn't answered him directly, her questions, and statements were enough for Ace to assess just what was going on. She was reborn, and this is her first time in the human world. He scoffed to himself, turning his head away from her for a moment. He wasn't sure if he was playing the part too well, or if he genuinely felt pity for the woman. She had no idea what she was doing, from what he understood. Still, he didn't want her getting any ideas. Turning back to the glass, he chuckled and shook his head.
"No. Nothing so dramatic. I simply...am." It wasn't the answer she wanted, he was sure. Still, he didn't need to tell her anything she could use to her advantage. Sighing inwardly, Ace cocked his head to the side, looking at the woman as she turned to face him. What was she playing? She brought attention to her breasts, perhaps she embodied lust? No...He heard about lust. Tanho had talked about it. Ace brought a hand up to his chin, tapping it softly before smiling softly. "You...What's your name?" He honestly didn't know what to do with the woman now. Should he attack her? She wouldn't know why he did it; now and not before she saw him. No. That wouldn't be so kind, would it? He turned to face the woman before placing his left hand into it's respective pocket.
Yes, she was a Sin and yes, he was an Obelisk but that didn't mean he needed to attack. Ace wasn't much of a fighter to begin with, and if she didn't know what she was, getting information from her may not be that difficult. Talents, tactics, perhaps other Sins weaknesses could all be pillaged with more ease than waking in the morning. Yes. He should come off as friendly and surely the vast wells of knowledge stored within would be his. With only a few seconds have passed since he asked the woman her name, he chuckled softly "Oh, I'm sorry for being so forward." He said, extending his right hand out, offering it to her. "My name is Ace Beleren. And this is Naruki City. It's a pleasure to meet you. You've come at the best time, the night-life here is amazing."

..and my more-having would be as a sauce to make me hunger more.
The Sin of Greed; Danyoku Kiri
”Simply existing can’t possibly be enough…” The woman replied to his claim of simply being, rather than acknowledging himself as some supernatural creature as she’d expected. ”Much better to have more, I say. She continued, watching him as he seemed to conjure a smile upon his face with the tap of a finger. She returned his smile in kind – some kind of generic response learned long ago.
The man though he’d not said much did seem to recognize the fact that she did not rightfully belong in this world. That said he’d become far more interesting with the realization of that fact. Perhaps he too had come through the gates of Hell? Danyoku’s smile faded and her façade took on a more curious nature. Just who was this man who’s eyes glowed the color of the sky? Her right hand fell from its place to dangle at her side, while her left hand was tasked once again with brushing ghostly locks from her face. Once this was done she canted her head ever so slightly to the left as if the near single degree shift might help her better understand the being before her. A smile returned to her face as she slid her hands into the pockets of her leather jacket, somewhat heavily causing it to stretch outward as if she might be reaching for Ace and then downward where she’d allow her arms to simply dangle. He’d asked her name but before she’d been given the chance to actually answer the man apologized for having asked in such a manner-less fashion and offered his own name, and even a few tidbits of information about the location as penance.
”I am Danyoku.” She happily gave nothing more than her family’s name. Her first name was a closely guarded secret, knowledge she horded greedily. Though it may have not be worth much, deep within the bowls of hell what was there to be called her own? Thus things of only ethereal value became her obsession. That would change now that she was faced with so much of material worth. ”Naruki city…” She repeated her head shifting about took take in all there was to see as if the place had taken on a new allure or glamour now that it had a name. ”It’s nice to meet you, Ace. I think I’ll hire you as my guide to the world, and you will guide only me.” Despite being entirely serious about that in the moment she’d probably lose interest before such a job even began. Such was her hunt for items of value. Though this man was certainly interesting he had no intrinsic value at the moment. Yes, his power would be nice to have, but she’d not be able to actually steal it. Not to mention glowing eyes wasn’t as useful as the Isshun television or one of those moving blocks of precious metals. One of which had drawn her attention in the few seconds that followed after her claim of his services. It was a beautiful green that made the woman’s eyes widen.
Oh what wondrous treasures this world had to offer! Who would think men would ride in boxes made of emeralds and other things? Danyoku’s smile grew ever wider, though she returned her attentions to the man she was speaking with. It seemed that these marvelous carriages of wealth were abundant and the task of collecting for herself the lot of them could wait for the time being. First was to collect what knowledge she could from this new acquaintance. ”What year is it?” She asked as she looked the man up and down. His garb was unlike the few people she’d seen but that was no reason to think it strange or unique. Perhaps there were others that wore similar attire and it only happened that he was the only she’d seen as of yet.
Upon further inspection a new more sinister thought crept into her mind. Coupled with the idea that the man seemed to recognize that she was in fact not a native, any longer, to the human world she began to doubt his seemingly kind and polite nature. Could it be that this man was some incarnation from Hell meant to discern her purpose for having stepped through the gates. Or perhaps he was some Kushanada hidden behind cleaver guise waiting for the proper moment to throw her back through the gates to be chained once more to those ebon pillars of woe. The woman’s smile faded, though it might have been mistaken as a response to his answer to her question. The memory of the torture she’d been forced to endure at the hands, and jaws, of the devlish guardians of hell caused her body to tense though she did her best to hide that fact.
What if? The thought could not be shaken as easily as other things, and a deep rumbling fear began to rise from her gut. Behind it rode a rage that threatened to break free from her body if she dared not contain it. For a moment she considered attacking the man but what good would that do? If, indeed, he was the jailer she believed him to be then he’d simply call upon the aid of his brethren or have them merely yank at the chains which bound her by the ankle. The chains… none seemed present upon this man. Not that this would indicate some error in her judgment of him, but it did ease her a bit. A moment of selective reasoning and it was easy to tell that he was not intending to return her to the bowls of hell.
”Do you have any food? I’m positively famished.” As one would expect of a woman nearly four hundred years old…

Words: 909. Notes: Is that a date I smell? Lololol Tags: Kiri The mind: a great weapon and an evengreater weakness Ace could hear the disdain in her voice with his answer. She couldn't understand the sense of just being? Well, her intuition would be correct. He wasn't just simply anything, in fact he was most certainly something extraordinary, but She didn't seem to know that, and he'd be fine with keeping it that way. But perhaps letting it slip later on would be better for him. Perhaps hinting that he was, in fact, super-human would be enough to get whatever he needed from her. Still, what followed was, at face value, nothing but Ace knew better. If she were in fact a sin, then that would mean she embodied a certain aspect. Ace wondered inwardly what it could be, her aspect. He could figure that out later, he needed to keep her from getting to suspicious. He agreed, nodding his head along with the statement. "More is normally better."
His tone was soft, calm, and seemed most kind. He needed it to be that way even if he felt harsh, uneasy, and hurtful. He needed to be more than your everyday nun. Even if she were the enemy she hadn't attacked him, so why would he attack her? He shook his head inwardly. He pondered the idea of this being like a wolf pup being raised from birth. Instincts were a hell of a thing, but would she be evil? Inherently? Or is that something that Sins come to terms with? 'No, no. She is the enemy.' He battled himself inside. He needed to stay focused. Luckily she had expelled her name, at least he had to assume so. 'Danyoku?' What a strange name for someone. No stranger than Beleren, he was sure. Still, he wondered if it held any deeper meaning. He wouldn't bother trying to figure it out, not yet. This woman required it all. It was strange how those five words meant more than he could ever imagine.
Still, she repeated the name of the city, her eyes gazing about, taking in all of the world around her. Now it wasn't a surprise for Ace that she didn't know her way around, or the city around her. No, that wasn't surprising at all, but what followed was. He was taken aback, his hand reaching upward to his chest, pointing at himself. "You want me...to be your guide?" Ace chuckled softly before lowering his hand and placing it inside of his pocket. He didn't know what to think, for once in his life time, his mind was blank. Did he agree, and show the enemy around a city she could later destroy? All to keep up the appearance of kindness. Or should he deny her, and allow her to fumble in the dark while destroying the fall foothold he's made? It was strange, almost rhetorical. He shouldn't show her around, cast her aside now but something didn't let him. No, instead he nodded in agreement. He wasn't sure if she knew what it meant, and he wasn't going to ask.
Luckily, her attention was once more taken by the cars moving back and forth. He narrowed his eyes, the light becoming thin lines rather than the wide ovals that had previously plagued his features. Going back to what she had said previous Ace was piecing the puzzle together. More was better. He would guide her, and her only. She seemed absolutely awe struck by things she didn't yet have, but that could just be the realization that she was in a time far beyond what she was used to. 'Could she be...I'll have to plant something.' He smiled at her question, he had to keep up the face. "Oh, why it's twen-oh, er...Two-thousand fifteen." Ace could see her features change. Obviously she wasn't expecting it to be this far forward. Which it was understandable. It was one hell of a thing to come back to. Things change, people change, and times change.
"Do you have any food? I’m positively famished." It was a strange thing, did Sins feel hunger? He wasn't sure. Shinigami felt hunger if they had enough reiatsu so perhaps it was the same for other-worldly beings. He nodded as he waved his hand. This was even more dangerous than simply being her guide. He was setting a precedent, and he didn't like it. But getting anything from this woman, from her rebirth, to the act of escaping would help him and all of the Consecro seal them away later. It had to help, right? Ace knew better than most; he knew more than most. He wouldn't do this unless it helped all of humanity seal away these demons into their prison, for good. He sighed inwardly. At least, he'd continue to tell himself that so long as he held this position. "I know this great Sushi place. Absolutely breathtaking." Ace muttered, keeping his head forward, but his senses clear. He needed to know if she ran, or if she planned on attacking him.
Ace pointed toward the sign, and then lowering his hand toward the door. A soft chuckle left as he held the grabbed the handle, and held it open for the Sin. Following afterward, he pointed toward the hanging menu. "Go ahead and get whatever you want. I'll cover it." And the seed was planted. Now it was just time to see if it would blossom into a flower, or wilt away into misery.

..and my more-having would be as a sauce to make me hunger more.
The Sin of Greed; Danyoku Kiri
Two-thousand and fifteen. That made her a grand total of… Oh my god. She shuttered at the thought of being three hundred and fifty-six. The idea became far more acceptable after a glance at the reflective surface of the glass. She’d held up remarkably well for a woman of her age, she’d have to thank the never ending cycle of death and regeneration that was her home realm for that. Besides the power she’d gained that was probably the only other thing she could say was a worthwhile gift derived from the place.
With her demand of guiding accepted Kiri followed, if necessary, Ace to the Sushi place he’d suggested. A wide grin had crossed her face at the mention of the food as it was something she was quite familiar with as a denizen of a coastal city. ”Oh, you know how to speak to a woman’s desires, Ace-kun!” She said adding the generic honorific that she applied to all persons of the male persuasion – when she felt like it. ”Sushi would be just fine!” She went on happily as they entered the establishment. Upon their arrival the woman was nearly blinded by the overly luminescent bulbs that adorned the restaurant. For a moment she shielded her eyes to give them time to adjust to the difference between the dim street lights and the bright restaurant. Man had come so far as to apply artificial suns in all things – again, how wonderful this world had become.
”Let’s see…” The alabaster haired woman ran a thoughtful hand along her chin as she inspected the menu. Somewhere in the back of her mind she already knew what her answer would be. Yet, still she inspected and scrutinized the board of food items with impunity. Finally her hand dropped from her chin and she turned to face Ace, a great big smile crossing her lips. ”All of it, I want it all.” No, she wouldn’t eat it all. To tell the truth she wasn’t entirely sure that she was actually hungry. It could have just been the excitement of finally being free and the opportunity to eat that had driven her to proclaim her starvation to the man moments prior. However her request could easily be mistaken as gluttony, yet it was not that. How better was she to discern what was of the best quality if she did not partake of everything, if she didn’t horde it all unto herself and do as she pleased with it. Or maybe it was a baser desire than that, maybe she just wanted to be able to place the divine title of “Mine” on all of it. Whatever the case she’d made her decision.
That decision in mind she didn’t wait for Ace to actually agree to her demands. Instead she approached the counter, or what she’d assumed to be the counter. Perhaps luck or maybe some old world similarities made her assumption correct. The person behind the counter was quite young, perhaps a teenager or undergraduate. His hair was dyed a shamefully light hue of yellow in an attempt to emulate blonde hair. His dye job had gone terribly awry, however, and it was a wonder he’d been allowed to work. ”I’ll have everything on the menu. Do make it quickly, I can’t wait to taste it all.” She mused happily as she leaned onto the counter. Much to her dismay, however, the young man seemed to simply ignore her. Even going so far as to turn around and strike a conversation with a co-worker. ”…how dare you?!” Danyoku spat angrily her eyes narrowing upon the back of the young man’s head as if she meant to burn a hole there. ”Is this how I’m to be treated?” She asked as she turned to face Ace, fire in her eyes. She’d only look to him for a moment, however. She’d already begun to plot the poor cashiers death for having been so bold as to deny her his attentions in their entirety. ”Look at me when I’m speaking to you servant!” She yelled slamming her fist on the counter. A few cracks in its smooth surface spider-webbed out from where her hand had impacted, though they’d probably go unnoticed for weeks.
The poor woman had no idea that only the chosen few could actually see her. Perhaps, Ace would explain this idea to her which in turn might make him all the more intriguing. The young man at the sound of the thump of her fist turned around to see where the noise had come from. ”That’s better. Now. I said I want everything on the menu…”

Words: 742. Notes: Oh noes, conflict. Tags: Kiri The mind: a great weapon and an evengreater weakness Was glad the proper word for his emotional state at the moment? Perhaps, or maybe content would fit along more nicely. He wasn't entirely sure, but there was a sense of, happiness and pride. Was it because she had complimented the man at his ability to read her mind and desires? Perhaps, Ace did take great pride in knowing what others knew but maybe that would be taking it just a little too far. He smiled either way, nodding as she gleefully accepted his offer of sushi.
Still, she picked up on the idea of fast food much better than he had expected. Her eyes scanning the board of items as he followed suit. He wasn't sure what he actually wanted. Wait, what was he thinking? This wasn't some formal dinner date, this was a one sided interrogation. He would just get what she wanted, and then a water for himself. What would that be? Twenty? Maybe Thirty? If his assumption of her aspe-And Then she muttered three words he hadn't been expecting. "All of it..." The rest of what she had said escaped him. He didn't even bother listening. She wanted it all. He shook his head physically, hoping that it would jog the realization of what just happened. What had he gotten himself into?
And then a feeling unlike any other crept over him. Was he...wrong? The idea was, for the most part, unfathomable. For him to be wrong, even after looking at all of the evidence, and deducing the facts. While yes, the two aspects nearly went hand-in-hand but the idea that he was wrong nearly split his mind in two. He was never wrong. Ever. This lasted another ten seconds while she walked to the counter, a second worker asking him if he was ready to order. Ace couldn't hear them. He cocked his head to the side, but his attention darted back to the woman when he heard her fist hit the counter. 'Oh no.' He'd have to sulk later, as he needed to defuse this potentially hazardous situation before something happened the likes these people have never seen before befell their friendly sushi place.
"Yes, yes. Sorry, everything please." Ace held his body away from the woman, synchronizing his reiatsu with her own. Hopefully she wasn't any the wiser to telepathy as the normal person. Hopefully she just assumed it was Ace speaking, and not him tapping into her mind. Keeping his head down, away from the people, Ace spoke to the woman, his tone still calm. 'Why don't you wait by a table. I'll pay for everything.' He took in a deep breathe before looking up, a small replica brain appearing in his hand. He needed to keep these people as out of the loop as possible. "Yes...er...I'm truly sorry about this, but I need one of everything on your menu." Obviously flabbergasted by the idea, the young man started spouting nonsense as he found his way to the back, probably talking to a manager.
Ace sighed, staring down at the counter. As he heard the people coming from the back, Ace darted his head up, and smiled. "Yes, sorry. It's for a party. Could I also get an extra small soda, as well." Whoever it was shook his head, and Ace knew what was happening. There was no way they could make everything. What to do. What to do. Ace couldn't put his own position past the job. Or would the job take priority over his position? If he were an evil mastermind, they'd go hand-in-hand like many other things. He nodded, and smiled before agreeing. Walking back to Danyoku. "Alright. We can either get a couple of things to go, or wait two hours for everything to be made now. I personally vote for something to go. You know, then we can see the rest of the night life." The proposition left his lips with a smile before taking the brim of his hood, and taking it down.
Raven locks fell back into place besides the few that were locked into a well made spike, pointing off of his head. The twin glowing pupils were gone, instead replaced by twin sky blue irises. They were normal, bright, but normal. He needed to keep this woman as calm as possible, as there was no saying what she could do, and without his fullbring active, he was in grave danger.
