Canaan was somewhat annoyed that she had yet again been confined to patrols around Karkaura town. Personally, she had initially kicked up a fuss about being put on patrols, but against the Head-Captain, there was little room for her opinion on the situation and hence why she was here. She frowned as she walked the rather populated streets of Karakura Town. It was midday, about twenty to one. She had opted to forego her Gigai, simply for the sole reason that it restricted her movement, not to mention got in the way during a fight, which given the fact Karakura was a spiritual being hotspot there was a high chance of one taking place.
Despite her not wanting to be there, she was nonetheless focused on her patrols, she was a Captain of the Gotei Thirteen and therefore she could not afford to discredit her status. She shunpo’d to the next building in her path, landing rather gracefully on the roof, her arms folded across her chest. She narrowed her eyes and heightened her sense, trying to both scan and sense the area for any spiritual beings. She only picked up on low-level spiritual pressures, nothing that proved a threat nor ones that could not be dealt with. She herself, had left her spiritual pressure above average, not enough to drastically effect normal humans but enough to affect them in the sense that they would find it hard to breathe and move.
She decided not to deviate from her position, the building she was currently on offered a nice strategic view of Karakura as a whole, and if you squinted, Naruki City. The building happened to be an abandoned hotel, however, the top floor seemed to have been refurbished, perhaps some low-life lived there, and she could care less. If they got in her way, she would kill them, and to add insult to injury, destroy the entire building as well. Still, she was somewhat annoyed, she had expected there to be a large portion of strong spiritual beings within Karakura, but none. Perhaps this was the wrong time of day to be looking for a strong spiritual being, or a fight for that matter, if anything it would make her day that little bit less boring.
She was about to move to a different location after staying for ten minutes when all of a sudden, a large flare of Reiatsu made itself known. It was brief, and seemed to peak out after a second, returning to a more normal level, she tsk’d and sorely focused on the spiritual pressure, growing in anticipation as she realised that it was heading her way. Perhaps her patrols of Karakura Town were about to become that more interesting. She was a little surprised and perhaps apprehensive as she carried out further analysis of the spiritual pressure. To her it was foreign, she had yet to encounter a being with similar or the same type of spiritual pressure. It was almost other worldly, like a Hollows but not as heavy.
She rationalized that this perhaps was the spiritual pressure of a Sin. There had been sparse reports on their kind within the Soul Society. A large amount of that information was merely speculation, the Soul Society had more pressing matters to attend to, such as the Espada threat. She rolled her eyes at that, the Espada posed no threat now that they had no Queen and a fool as their supposed ‘King’.
”Tch…Come now, do not keep me waiting.”

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style, background-color:#282828] | [atrb=style, width:250px;][atrb=valign, top] My Power Will Never Satisfy Me. Zazikel had been bored as hell hence why she had come to the Human World, in specific, Karakura Town. She had heard a lot about this place during her days at the Vatican and as an Obelisk of the Consecro. Still, she was excited to come here, if anything a change of scenery would do her some good, ever since she had erected her palace in the mountainous regions of Hell, she had done nothing be decorated her place. Not to mention, she had no desire to talk or even meet with her pets, nor could they come and talk to her as the storm surrounding her palace was only passable if you were on the same power level as a Sin. A bonus perk if nothing else, though it did leave the giant palace a little lonely.
Still, Zazikel could just as easily pick up a few human girls, bring them back to the palace and have a rather eventful and not to mention pleasurable night. The mere thought brought a smile to her face. She walked at a casual place through the crowded streets of Karakura Town, her eyes searching for a suitable woman to drag back to hell, kicking and screaming if need be. So far, she had eyed many a beautiful lady, but none that actually got her motor running. Eventually her eyes raked over a particular female. She was wearing a suit that was nice, slim fit, and suited her nicely. Not to mention her eyes were beautiful, accentuated by the blue eye shadow she wore. Up and until now, Zazikel had concealed her spiritual pressure, she was not yet in the mood to fight, though she had been eager to test the limits of her power and all.
She stopped in the middle of the street, hardly trying to not look suspicious as she pondered what to do. She sensed some power from this women, hell, said women was approaching her, a confident swagger in her steps. She briefly caught a glimpse of a ring, rather signet ring on her right hand. Zazikel raised an eyebrow, Consecro, huh? Mmmm…, not to mention she looked familiar.
The women brushed passed her, not really acknowledging her what so ever. Zazikel briefly remembered seeing her before, around in the Vatican before she requested a transfer, hell, Zazikel had been the one to authorise it. Now what was her name? Rh…Rhea…Ah, Rhea Nyx. Zazikel seriously consider in turning around and slapping the bitch something new and then dragging her down to her palace, but something else caught her eye. A lone figure moving rather fast from building to building, a trademark Captain’s Haori easily gave away her identity and which faction she belong to. In that brief instance, Rhea was put to the back of her mind as she was now more interested in the Soul Reaper Captain and as such, followed her, doing her best to keep her distance, there was no point in rushing the inevitable meet. She got a good look at her face just as she entered her flash step, or Shunpo. A woman, a very butch looking one at that.
She kept her distance but seeing as the Captain made little effort to conceal her spiritual pressure, she was easily traceable and apparently had no disregard for the damage such spiritual pressure would cause humans. A small smile graced her lips, perhaps this would be interesting after all, perhaps she could defeat her and drag her back and then focus on little slutty Nyx as well afterwards. She stopped a top a building and for the next ten minutes watched the Captain just stand there. It was quite amusing to be honest, and plus, Zazikel was patient if anything. She decided though, that now was the time to announce herself by flaring her reiatsu to its peak for the briefest of seconds, then in one fast movement she jumped from the roof of her building to the top of the abandoned hotel said Captain was currently on. Landing gracefully on the side opposite her.
“Hah. I never keep anyone waiting, well, actually that is a lie. Only the ones that I want to destroy. Now come, do not be so rude, might as well introduce yourself, no? Or do you Soul Reapers don’t know how to do that?”

Canaan turned slowly as she heard the supposed Sin speak. She was by no means intimidated by her, hell she looked like someone from that human film Star Wars, with the robes, she half expected her shoot out lightning with her hands just as that Darth Sidious had done to Mace Windu. Sure Canaan hated humans, but she was by no means ignorant to what their interests were and what not, hell, she had been forced to watch movies whilst she wore her Gigai. She also picked up on the fact that this woman had only one eye visible, the other was covered by her bangs. Weirdo. She still had her arms folded across her chest, not bothering to move from her spot, she no intention of fighting just yet, she would first ask a few questions and depending on how this Sin reacted would determine whether she went on the offensive and beat her to oblivion.
She paid no heed to the first thing she said, but upon hearing the second she was somewhat surprised, it would appear that this Sin was civil, or at least in a sarcastic sense. Fucking bitch. she at first did not immediately respond, she was currently mulling over the Sin’s spiritual pressure, sure it was formidable, but in comparison to her own, it was not so much. Not to mention, she had no idea the abilities of this woman, though, the Sin had no idea of her own abilities, nor her kido so perhaps that was an advantage.
“I suppose I should tell you that much, we Soul Reapers are civil, I am Canaan Arteruis, Captain of Squad Six of the Gotei Thirteen…Now enlighten me, who are you exactly?”
After she had finished speaking, she withdrew her Zanpakuto, and swiped at the air before letting it rest by her side. A clear sign that she was ready and willing to fight if need be. Well, in Canaan’s case, a fight was inevitable so she might as well get ready. She was beginning to get pre-battle chills which tingled around her body. The adrenaline was slowly starting to pump itself around her body as well, she was eager to start this fight, such pleasantries were merely delaying it. With her left hand, she relieved herself of her Captain’s Haori, and let it fall to the fall, watching briefly as the wind carried it off the roof of the abandoned hotel. She turned her attention back to the Sin, a smirk on her face.

Zazikel did not do much of anything when the Shinigami Captain introduced herself as Canaan Arterius. She had never heard nor even recognized the name, not that she thought she would though. She was apparently the Captain of Squad Six, so she was not going to be a push over which Zazikel did not mind. The tougher the fight, the more satisfying prize at the end, not to mention test of her abilities. She narrowed an eye at Canaan, the women spoke with little respect for a being such as herself, something Zazikel would make her regret later.
”I am Zazikel, the Sin of Greed, it is my divine pleasure to meet you Canaan Arterius.”
She bowed her head in a mocking way, her tone full of sarcasm. She could feel a fight brewing, in fact, the way Canaan had suddenly withdrawn her sword after she had finished speaking screamed that. Still Zazikel was not really all that fussed, she was more than capable of dealing with this butch woman. She seemed so sure of herself given the posture, again, Zazikel would put her in her place. She ignored the Haori as it floated of the roof and decided what she would do next. She could summon her two swords and go all out on her, but that would mean the fight was finished quickly. No point in that, it would be boring and a waste of her time. She tensed her left hand, her chain of hell shackling. A small grin graced her otherwise emotionless face.
As soon as the Captain opened her mouth to speak, Zazikel pointed her middle and index finger towards the Captain, to be precise, just past her head. A bolt of lightning suddenly burst forth from her two fingers and soared towards Canaan, naturally, it would miss, it was what the Sin had intended. She knew for a start Canaan had little to know idea that her lightning bolt was going to explode as soon as it passed her, the force would be enough to send her flying into her left hand and the chain of hell would cut her face up something new. The explosion would do next to no damage, at the most, mild burns to her exposed back. Hell, Zazikel might even rush forward to add some momentum to the impact, just to cause some more damage.
When the lightning bolt exploded, her plan had worked, Canaan, was caught off guard by the explosion and was sent like a rag doll towards herself along with a large portion of the abandoned hotel, nothing that could not be fixed quickly though Zazikel noted. Zazikel rushed forward at full speed and lashed out with her chain covered left hand and smacked the Captain right in the face, a sickening ‘smack’ echoing around the surrounding away. In one quick movement, Zazikel pivoted on her heel and with her right hand grabbed hold of the Captain’s left foot and proceeded to spin her round once before launching her into a nearby lower building, creating a sizeable impact.
“Tch. You talk too much Canaan, come and show me what you have got and you might yet live.”
Zazikel’s body was tingling all over, her powers were top notch and they would serve her as they were meant to. She was generally excited, she was so much more powerful than she had been during her days as a Consecro Obelisk. With that she rushed to the Captain’s position, stopping just above the rather large hole Canaan had created on impact. By the looks of things, it went all the way down to the bottom floor, pieces of body and dead people littered and hanged from the multiple levels of the apartment complex.

To let it consume you, will be your downfall.
Canaan eyes widened as the bolt of lightning shot forth from her fingers and soared its way towards her. She noticed its trajectory and was confused to see that it would of course miss her. That confused her and as such, she forced her spiritual pressure to her back as the bolt past her head. She had no desire to move if the bolt was not going to hit her, what would be the point. Though her assumption earlier that this Zazikel was like Darth Sidious was true. When the bolt suddenly exploded Canaan was sent forward, the force surprisingly strong for such a presumably low level technique. So caught off guard she had very little time to react to the chain clad fist that was slammed into her face. She could taste blood in her mouth, though apart from that, nothing else seemed to be sore. Her tactic of using her spiritual pressure as a buffer to her back against the explosion was handy for she only suffered mild burns, nothing truly serious.
She had little time to react as her left foot was suddenly grabbed and she was swung once before being launched into a nearby building. She encased herself in her spiritual pressure, protecting herself from the more serious damage but not from the little cuts and scrapes. She hit the lobby floor hard, winding her slightly, though Canaan was a veteran Captain, and this was something she could easily deal with. She was surprised that Sin had the power to throw her so easily, her punch had not been that hard, but then again, she had a substantial amount of momentum on her side. Canaan also realised that she had plummeted through a few floors of this apartment complex, the bodies of normal humans littered the edges of the hole and parts of the lobby. Huh, it would seem the Sin wanted to play it that way, something Canaan was fine with doing. She rushed back to her feat, muttering her Shikai release command as she did so. She also thrummed her spiritual pressure to its peak, killing anyone else in the building and consequently bringing it down around her as she shunpo’d back through the hole, slicing through the few pieces of debris that fell in her way.
When a particularly large piece of debris got in her way she lashed out with her Wakizashi, sending forth a blast of flame that rapidly expanded to twelve feet. One of her lower level techniques called Honoo No Hakai. It decimated the piece of debris and soared its way towards the Sin. Now that Canaan was out of the building and on level with the Sin, she launched an offensive seeing as the Sin had dodged her blast of flame. She shunpo’d to the Sin, unleashing a flurry of strikes, testing the Sin’s defensive capabilities. She also followed her whenever she back stepped, not letting up on her assault.
After seven strikes, which annoyingly only one landed, the rest either dodged or parried by the Sin’s chained hand. Canaan backed off, uses shunpo and appeared to the Sin’s right, her left hand extended.
“Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hado 61, Raikoho!”
A massive wave of yellow energy soared towards Zazikel who was at a lower position. The incantation often gave away what was coming and she would not be surprised if the Sin had dodged it, if anything the massive wave of yellow energy would continue on its journey and take out the building that was now in its path.
“Do not get cocky Zazikel, the battle has only just begun and I am hardly breaking a sweat.”

Zazikel scoffed, she had been waiting for a total of twenty three seconds and yet Canaan had not bothered to do much of anything. From her position she could clearly see the female lying flat out on her back, with not a very happy look on her face. She ignored the pained sounds of the humans who had been left badly injured from the impact, her vision solely focused on Canaan. She grinned like a maniac before beckoning with her left hand to come and get her. That seemed to have worked as not a second later Canaan’s spiritual pressure peaked, erupting throughout the area. The immediate outburst of such high and formidable spiritual pressure caused the building she happened to be in to abruptly collapse.
Zazikel closed her left hand into a fist as soon as Canaan got to her feet and utilized her Shunpo. It would seem things were about to get interesting. She chuckled as soon as the blast of flame erupted forth and decimated a large piece of debris that had momentarily blocked her vision of the female Captain. She rather calmly dodged the flame as it soared towards her, jumping above it. She somewhat anticipated Canaan’s movements and raised her left hand, her chain rattling as it was brought up to defend her front.
She blocked the first strike, the force making her step back a few steps. She chuckled some more as Canaan was relentless in her frontal assault. Not really giving her a second to recover, she would endure these barbaric tactics for now, but sooner or later Zazikel would show her how to fight properly, something this women clearly lacked. She ducked beneath the second swipe, parried the next three, the next however, she was too slow and it nipped the top of her left shoulder. The last strike she met with her own swing with her chained clad left hand. She smirked when Canaan backed off, perhaps she was starting to get that cheap barbaric tactics such as that would never work on herself she was just too skilled for that.
She also happened to note that Canaan had gone under some sort of change, perhaps she had entered another state or form, Zazikel had no idea and she did not really care much either but she was going to ask anyways. “My, what’s this, you have changed somewhat, why? Is my power just that great? Or are you being perhaps too cautious?”
She rolled her eyes as her question was obviously ignored by the Captain, she disappeared again, something she was increasingly getting better at. I dislike playing Cat and Mouse, but urgh…I shall deal with it. |
[/i] She narrowed her eyes as Canaan appeared above her to her right, reciting some sort of incantation, she had loosely heard about a Soul Reapers ‘Kido’, she of course had never seen it in person, Huh, what fun, guess there is a first time for everything. She narrowed her eyes further as a massive wave of yellow energy soared its way towards her. She utilized her high speed movement, narrowly dodging the wave, she continued to move until she was able to balance herself properly, frowning. That had been pretty close, a moment later and she would have most likely lost an arm. She briefly watched as the level 61 hado collided with another apartment complex, destroying it in an instant in an impressive explosion, said explosion taking out the surrounding buildings. Tch. I cannot be out done by a Soul Reaper.[/i] She lashed out with her left hand, and rushed the Soul Reaper appearing right in front of her, she lashed out with her right fist. The second it missed or hit she would use the momentum to duck and lash at the Captain’s mid-section with her chained clad left hand. She would push off her mid-section, jumping back a few feet. In the same motion she would lash out with her Chain of Hell, using its reach to great effect. She aimed to force Canaan back lest she take a spike chained to the face. Regardless she continued to move back, stopping just ten feet from Canaan. She had no desire to launch another attack, she felt the need to draw this fight out for a while longer before she truly got serious and defeated this woman. “Now, now Canaan dear, using such a high level kido so recklessly is not befitting of a person of you rank, hm? Guess I will have to punish you.”With a wicked grin she summoned one of her swords, Indignatio to her right hand and swiped freely at the air before her, getting a feel for the weapon. She had hardly used it, though she would admit it was pretty flashy, it would look extra nice coated in the Captain’s blood. She rushed the Captain as she seemed occupied with looking at her recently summoned sword. [/i]How pitiful.[/color][/i] When she was within striking distance she lashed out with her assault. She first brought her sword down upon the Captain, hoping to dissect her from the right shoulder down. If the attack was parried, she would push off the Captain’s blade, use her high speed movement and appear behind her and attack her exposed back. She would continue to use similar tactics, always mixing up her attacks, some strikes were weak others she fully committed. After the eighth strike she jumped back deciding to cause yet some more damage to this town of Karakura. She de-materialized her sword Indignatio and full on rushed the Captain, using her left to quickly and easily deflect the Captain’s obvious strike. With her now free right hand she grabbed her by the scruff and proceeded to launch her into yet another building, however, this time with full strength. Given the angle, Canaan was launched through one side of the building, smashing through to the other side and crashing through yet another building where she stopped. Zazikel spared no time and rushed after her, intent on dealing out some pain. [/div][/td][/tr][/table] [/center]

To let it consume you, will be your downfall.
Canaan was not wholly bothered that her high level kido had missed, she found it funny that Zazikel seemed to either ignore or acknowledge and ignore the fact that she had barely dodged it without harm. The explosion it created after hitting the building was ridiculous and destructive, taking out several buildings surrounding it. She smirked, she could use that bad boy many times before becoming exhausted, hell, she could raise Karakura to the ground and still have enough in her to fight. Albeit, a rather quick fight depending on her opponent.
Canaan was ready nonetheless when Zazikel rushed her, throwing her right fist towards her face. Naturally, Canaan stepped back, avoiding the punch aimed at her face, a smirk making its way on to her face, however, Zazikels second punch landed in her mid-section. She had not anticipated the Sin to duck and aim low, but regardless she shrugged it off, surprised that it lacked power, sure the chain made the impact a little more painful. She was pushed back a little as Zazikel pushed off her mid-section. She frowned, she disliked being used as a spring board.
Her reactions were almost instinctive, her sword was brought up the second the Sin’s chain came within striking distance. The chain rebounded of her blade and with her added and newfound momentum, she batted it to one side, adopting a defence stance in the same motion. She scoffed as the Sin spoke, not really bothered about what she had said. Sure, her usage of the high level kido so recklessly was questionable, but Canaan took a chance and gambled, unfortunately it did not work.
She screwed her eyes in confusion as the Sin summoned her own sword, which Canaan had to admit looked rather flashy. Not to mention, she had pictured the Sin’s main weapon to look…a little different, but flashy was apparently her style as it would seem. So caught up by the Sin’s weapon she narrowly managed to parry the strike, being forced out of her defensive stance rather roughly as the Sin appeared behind her. She utilized Shunpo, turning just in time to face the Sin and repel her attack. This continued for six more strikes, Canaan successfully blocking the majority of them, however two managed to break her defence and leave her with thin cuts. One on her already scarred face and the other on her left arm. She also noted that this woman’s skill with a sword was perhaps equal, if not greater than her own. She frowned and made ready for whatever the Sin had in store for her next.
When Zazikel rushed her once more, Canaan grinned and slashed with her sword intent of cutting her down right there and then, however, her sword was easily batted away by the Sin’s chain clad hand. She frowned when she felt her right hand grab the scruff of her uniform and was consequently span round then launched into yet another building.
So great was the force that she had been thrown at that she went through the first building and hurling into a second one, coming to a rather rough stop. She had managed to coat herself in her reiatsu just before the rough landing, limiting the damage somewhat, nothing more than cuts and scrapes though her left arm had a nice gash on it. With her senses, she caught the Sin’s sudden movement and was on her feet not a second later.
She waited for the last second then slammed her sword into the floor, going for her Hashira No Kasai technique. While mostly a defensive technique, it could be used as an offensive one. She could care less about the building that would now be on fire, perhaps killing in the initial process. The pillar of fire itself reached an impressive height of twenty five feet. While this happened she raised her left hand, being able to sense the Sin’s position by her spiritual signature. Grinning, she began reciting another Kido.
“Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens, hado 73, Soren Sokatsui.”
The second she had finished the incantation, she had her left hand pointed at the Sin as two shots of blue fire erupted from her hand. Its power would be devastating, enough to bring this building down and decimate the other one she had first crashed through.
Regardless, she shunpo’d out of the building as it slowly but surely began to collapse. She would be surprised if the Sin had escaped that one unscathed, but if she did, Canaan would simply have to try harder. She was not about to give in, especially this early on in the fight. The building the she had crashed through first also began to collapse, Canaan watched it fall briefly, and eyeing a man who happened to decided jumping out of the window was a much better option than being inside the building as it came down.
Her eyes drifted back to the Sin’s position as she once again used Shunpo to close the large gap between them in mere seconds. It seemed as though the Sin had been thrown of balance by that attack and that would play to her advantage. She would not be holding back either, she sheathed her sword, deciding to unleash her own hand to hand skill on this bitch. She came out of shunpo within striking distance, driving her right knee right into the gut of Zazikel. As the force of the kick forced her up, Canaan unleashed a haye-maker punch sending the Sin flying into the air. She followed the Sin up and continued to punch her further and further in to the sky, after the sixth punch, Canaan grabbed the Sin and forcefully launched her back down to the ground at full strength. The second she left her right hand, she pointed her left hand at the Sin’s plummeting body.
“Hado 4, Byakurai!”
She honestly doubted the Sin would be getting back up after that and as such, she let her guard down somewhat, taking her time in descending to the ground.

Zazikel had to admire her handy work, she had been easily able to throw that Soul Reaper cunt through those two buildings. She darted through the hole that had been made in the first building, grinning at the surprising amount of dead people about, a few mortally wounded as well. She exited and made her way into the second building, summoning her trusty weapon Indignatio and made ready to slash the Captain's abdomen open. It appeared as though the Captain was already on her feet, ready to 'try' and make a stand against herself.
However the second the Soul Reaper slammed her sword into the ground Zazikel lashed out with her left hand, sending her chain soaring behind her. With wide eyes she her advance was halted as her chain had managed to bury itself within a sturdier part of the building. Another second later and Zazikel was sure she would have had a rather burned, black face. She smirked like a maniac as the flames of the suddenly erect pillar licked her chin. A searing pain but it went as soon as it came, Zazikel allowing herself to be pulled back by the momentum of her hell chain. When she was back about six feet, she yanked her chain free from the debris and recoiled it back into her hand. She was a little annoyed, she had underestimated the Captain's abilities, something she could not afford to do.
When the flame subsided and disappeared, Zazikel knew she was about to get another dosage of Soul Reaper Kido. She mentally noted the effect the Captain;s technique had had on the building. It was on fire, screams of people could be heard throughout and the sprinkler system seemed to be doing fuck all, not to mention, the building was beginning to crumble, soon enough it would fall. Her eyes widened fractionally when the kido erupted from Canaan's fingers, though she was already moving as, intent on escaping. She had no intention of seeing how much damage it could deal out that was for sure. However, the force was great enough to through Zazikel completely off balance as she came out of her high speed movement outside of the now crumbling building. Naturally her senses picked out the Soul Reapers position and as such she banished her sword for the second time, her chain would suffice for this encounter.
She had very little time to even prepare as Canaan's knee suddenly found it's way into her gut. Given her off balance stature, the kick forced her upwards where she received a rather powerful punch to the face. She was sent into the air and continued to be by an flurry of punches. Eventually a single, much more powerful punch sent her spiraling back to the ground. She smirked, she figured that was Canaan physical strength at it's peak, nothing she could not deal with. She noted the Kido coming her way, it seemed as though Canaan intended to finish her off in that attack. Tut, one should never underestimate me. She decided to let the Kido get extremely close to her face before she rather effortlessly moved her head to the right, dodging the kido. Once it had passed, she corrected herself and landed rather gracefully on her feet on the hard concrete of one of the many roads in Karakura town. Of course, her impact had caused an intense and massive shock-wave to erupt and decimate the area somewhat, bringing down several convenient stores and blowing up a petrol station.
She stood back to her full height and eyed Canaa's position as she too, landed on what used to be a road. She summoned Indignatio and frowned. She was starting to see that this Soul Reaper was rather arrogant. How could such a weak attack be enough to finish her? It baffled her, it truly did. Still, she would be teaching this bitch a thing or too.
"I a insulted that you think such a weak attack could defeat me Canaan. You really are an arrogant little bitch that needs to be downsized...Something which I am going to do to you."
She swiped out with her sword and rushed Canaan, giving her very little time to prepare, she knew that Canaan had expected her to be finished so she had that on her side to act as an advantage. She unleashed a barrage of attacks that she knew would wear the Soul reaper down. Sure, her sword skills were above average, but in comparison to her own, they were no match. She eventually broke the Captain's defenses and launched her sword into the top of her left shoulder, enough to be able to lift her of the ground. She held her suspended in the air and narrowed her eyes. She should be thankful that she had no impaled her to the hilt or her left arm would be left completely useless for the rest of the fight.
"Tell me Canaan...Does this hurt, hm?
She withdrew her sword from Canaan's shoulder and closed the distance with her left fist, punching Canaan in the face and sending her back some way down the street. She pursued her, banishing her sword once again and going attacking her with her chain. After four strikes, she chuckled and disappeared with her high speed movement. She did not bother to look back she knew Canaan would follow her no matter what, she had just made her look like a fool. She knew that she had deliberately not done any real damage to Canaan's left shoulder, merely got the message across that she could, something that would drive most people into fury. It was Zazikel's way of saying, 'that she did not take her seriously.'
She came out of her high speed movement standing on the side of one of the tallest building in Karakura Town. She eyed Canaan as she appeared some ways down, she did not look to happy, if the snarl and bleeding nose was anything to go by. She chuckled out loud.
"Do not look so annoyed Canaan sweetie, you are facing the most powerful Sin ever, you allowed to have your ass beat so easily. I tell you what, let me show you just a little taste of my true power." With that, she extended both her hands outwards and allowed her reiatsu to dominate the top portion of the building she was currently on. She grinned. "Come, this is my present to you Canaan." With that she raised her reiatsu to it's peak and allowed it to bring down the building she was currently on. Turning she lunched herself into the debris as they began to fall. She chuckled like a maniac and turned around and dived back down, sensing Canaan somewhere down below, concealed by the tonne of Debris.
"Not even Leto can surpass my pow-"
