Age Before Beauty [Inert/Hash]

Katsuo felt himself starting to get anxious as he waited for the Arrancar to do something -- hopefully leave. For all he knew, he could be killed at any second. He couldn't exactly see what was going on. But he wouldn't panic. Making assumptions wasn't going to help anything. So he just stayed in his spot, listening intently for any movements on the Arrancar's part.

When he finally heard something, his already meager hopes went down the drain. Katsuo could barely contain his contempt at that point. At the very least, he didn't have to pretend to be dead anymore; obviously, his ruse hadn't worked. Hearing the somewhat-familiar static sound of Sonido, Katsuo carefully wrapped an outstretched hand around a brick that had been dislodged from the wall earlier. It seemed as though he wasn't going to get a break, so he would need to temporarily stun the Arrancar before he tried to use his Fullbring.

A few seconds after the Arrancar had appeared in front of Katsuo, he sprang to his feet, ignoring the flash of pain that came with such an abrupt movement. Green light illuminated the air once again as Katsuo pulled on the ground's soul and used it to jump. At the same time, this Bringer Light increased his momentum as he swung the brick right for the Arrancar's face when he was high enough to do so. The guy seemed pretty sturdy, so Katsuo didn't have high hopes of killing him with the brick, but at the very least he figured that he could throw him off for the split second it would take him to use his Fullbring.
