Wrapping up the last few paper-work he had to fill out, Kakashei set down his pen and moved back from his desk. Sitting back a bit in his chair he released a relieved sigh and took a while to rest in his chair for a bit. Some minutes later, he motioned forward in his chair and raise to his feet. Releasing a short yawn, he motioned his fingers through his hair and turned to walk to the wall behind him. Grabbing his captains haori, he place it along his frame and turned towards the front doors of his office. Walking out the front doors of his office/barracks, he breath in the fresh air and turn his gaze to some of his seated and usneated officers.
"What a nice day, now.. Why aren`t you all working!?" he questioned out loud as he grabbed the attention of the officers. Each turn to face him with wide eyes and blank expressions. "Get to work! And if you do not have a job to do, go and train!" he commanded as he watch a large number of them turn away and scattered into their respective barracks and out of the barracks area as well. Nodding, he turned away and headed off to the back where there was a wide spaced area ad a pasture of grass and flowers. With his zanpakuto sheathed at his waist, he step out to the center of the pasture, he set down and cross his legs over one another.
"I guess I should speak with Kaiga for a bit, it has been a while." he states while drifting off to his inner spiritual realm. It took him a while, but he manage to awaken in a room layered with paintings of people and places from his memory. Though the ones that are of the human world, he lacks any knowledge of since he forgotten his life as a human when manifesting into the rukongai. While standing in the center of the room, his haori flared about and called out to Kaiga. "Kaiga?! Come out!" he stated as his gaze shifted to one of the paintings. Its image began to ripple as if a portal had been opened. A body of black ink began to surf along the air and touch down upon the ground before Kakashei. Forming into a body, the true form of Kaiga Buredo had now manifested in front of Kakashei.
"It has been a while, Kakashei. What brings you?" he questioned in a calm and relaxing tone as usual. "As you said, it has been a while. I thought it would be nice to have a training session with you." he answered. "No, I do not wish to fight at this current moment. I feel we both no the limits of our powers at the moment. Which is why I suggested that you train and gain more power outside the human world and then challenge me. But since our last conversation, you have not trained that much, so I will not be fighting you at the current time, I apologize." Kaiga wasn`t the fighting type, but when he did, he wanted to be able to test the limits of Kakashei. He felt it was better for Kakashei to fight someone else who`s skill and fighting style was much different. Plus he wanted Kakashei to come at him with a new more experience fighting style then when they last fought.
"I was expecting this. Always the judgemental type, Kaiga. But I am fine with your descion. I guess I will leave you to do as you were before. While I go and train or paint while I have the time. Until next time, Kaiga." he states with a sigh following suit. "Do as I suggested, Kakashei. I want our next sparring bout to be entertaining." Kaiga would then turn away and do as he was doing before. Kakashei made his exit from his inner world and entered back into the area around him. Sitting for a moment, he decided to take some time to enjoy the scenery and breath in the air before training a bit.

Coincidentally, while her captain was busy with his zanpakuto's spirit, so was Miranda. She had filled out her paper work a few hours before. She felt that she should do some investigation on the increasing hollow stench that had plagued her aura lately. She knew the origin of the power. It was quite obvious it was her old blade. She sort of understood why it was growing. Through her eyes it is like cutting off a finger. If one could reattach the finger somehow, the finger would heal and become usable again. The sword contained a piece of her soul, and now that piece was reforming, mixing with her new refined self. Imagine a shinigami as white, and a hollow as black. Miranda was becoming gray.
If one were to come into her office, which was conveniently next to her captain's, they would find her in deep meditation: cross legged, zanpakuto (and hollow blade) in her lap, and a peaceful expression on her pale face. She was in her inner-world. Miranda was not training, but rather consulting Odoru Hono on his opinion. In her world she was in a town, forever in sunset, sitting at the top of the town's clock tower, where Odoru lurked. She watched the sun set at the horizon when Odoru came and sat down next to her, with his emerald eyes watching the sunset with her. Another silent moment passed until Miranda spoke up.
"The... aura.. is growing healthier everyday Odoru.... is this a good thing?" Miranda asked morosely, not bothering to take her eyes off of the horizon. "Well.... depends on perspective.... if you cut off a broken arm.. and it was sewn back to yourself a year later and it began to work perfectly... would that be a good thing?" Odoru replied rather sarcastically-sounded. Miranda didnt bother to reply. Odoru sighed and moved closer, lowering his voice, "Listen Miranda... the merging will not be painless... but thankfully the climax of this pain will begin soon."
Miranda looked up at him with a confused look. It isnt every day someone comes and tells you that you are about to be in a large amount of pain pretty soon. "How soon are we talking about?", asked Miranda. when exactly the moment the question lefter her mouth, a metallic hand closed around her shoulder. a eerry, quiet, and sinister voice played in her ear..
"Very soon"
Miranda's eyes opened calmly, with her eyes scanning the room for trouble. One might believe that she is completely calm, but her heart was racing furiously. What was she looking for? Her personal bottle of sake of course. She wasnt much of a drinker, but she did enjoy her drinks. She got up, put her blades away and grabbed the bottle, almost forgetting to open it before she took a gulp. That voice... scared her shitless... so why not take a few drinks.
When she calmed herself she decided to go and get her mind off of her predicament. She would go and take her finished paperwork to the captain for approval. Miranda strapped back on her blades and grabbed the hefty stack of paper work, almost colliding into the wall from losing balance momentarily. it was a short walk... ending with running into Kakashei. Miranda let out a yelp out of suprse and fell on her rump... hard. "Oh no. nononononono...", she panicked as her papers began to scatter everywhere. How embarassing that this should happen in front of her superior! She worried that he may now think less of her and have her transferred. Under normal circumstances she would have been more calm, but stress had hit her hard lately. However she got what she wanted. frantically picking up the papers sure got her mind of her earlier problem.

Swinging his zanpakuto at the air, he work on his form and movements. The air would slice through the air, creating a slashing sound that continued to repeat over and over. Growing bored, Kakashei sheathed his zanpakuto and took a moment to breath in the air and stare at the sky above. He really felt the urge to both fight and paint, since there was no one to fight at the moment, there was the latter he could choose from. Turning, Kakahei would quickly run into Miranda, whom was carrying a stack of papers. Stumbling back a bit, his eyes lowered to the girl and the papers that surrounded them. As much as he wanted to just make the girl pick it all up by himself, Kakashei decided to be nice and help the girl out.
Squatting down, he began to gather the papers that were closest to him. When he finished, he group them togther and handed them over to the leutinent. "You should be more careful, Leutinent Frost. You can easily hurt yourself or lose important documents if you don`t watch where you are going." giving the newly recruited leutinent a tip, he quickly raise back to his full height. Looking out to the area around him, he was still a bit curious of Miranda. His knowledge of her or her skills was a bit scarse, all he had was the file given, though it didn`t say much. Raising his right to his head, he ran his fingers through his hair before lookinf back to the leutinent. "So, Leutinent Frost, where were you heading?" he questioned while keeping a straight expression.
