The tall, athletic visored stepped towards the two story building with flashing neon lights and loud music. He tilted his head to the side and read the name of the restaurant as it flashed from green to red to pink, yellow, indigo, and blue. 一人前 居酒屋 (Adult Bar). It took Thurstan a second to decide whether he really wanted to go in or not. He was in Karakura for a reason, not just to screw around. But then again, there wasn’t much to be done at the time and he was pretty sure that Ichigo could handle anything serious if it popped up. If not, then the quincies could get to it. Trace wasn’t as needed here as he’d like to have been.
“Fuck it.” He mumbled to himself, reaching back to scratch his scalp. His shoes fell rather silently on the pavement as the drops of water began to fall from the sky. It was a nice night and then rain made it even better; he loved the smell. As he walked up to the door, a man in black clothes held a hand out to him as a signal to stop.
“I’ll need some ID.” Thurstan flashed his driver’s license. According to the little piece of plastic, he was 24 years old. As if… He couldn’t even remember when he was 24. He’d been in the SS for two or three years at that point, maybe. It was all a little hazy. Living as long as he had really tended to effect one’s memory. The bouncer nodded and opened the door for the three-hundred and eighty six year old shinigami. “Alright. Head on in sir, and observe the rules.” Thurstan had lived in the human world long enough to understand the common courtesies of strip clubs. Don’t touch the girls. Don’t ask for sex. Don’t get so drunk you can’t think straight.
He walked into the Adult Bar, and made his way to the serving counter to get a Black and Tan. It was routine, and he intended to observe it. Walk in, ignore the women, go to the bar and keep his back to them. Make the strippers come to you. If they wanted his money, they’d have to ask for it.

He was watching the men that came in here, knowing it was a ladies night on the poles and for shows. That didn't mean all the guys would be into just girls though. Hell they could be closet gay. He gave each man five seconds of his time. Three were first impression and the remaining to were to see if they had any good qualities if the first three turned him off. So far he hadn't seen too many up to his standards. The only reason he got people to sit with him is well because they came up themselves. He couldn't blame them. He was s lot more skilled and ever prettier than some of the girls dancing. He was a luxury after all. His over all kind face must have been a deal sealer. Too bad he didn't really want to talk to any of the guys who approached him. They didn't even look rich enough to afford him anyway.
However a blonde man walked into the bar and instantly caught Lux's eyes. He only needed one second and the other Four were trying to find something wrong. He didn't see anything and smiled to himself. It was odd though. He went straight to the bar, not even taking a glance at any of the girls. Either he was a prude or not interested in girl's at all. Lux was about to find out which of those it was. He got up from his seat, making a silent walk over to the bar, leaning on it right next to the man, sending a nice smile his way to let him know he wasn't some creepy perv. Okay he wasn't a creepy perv right now.
"Why aren't you enjoying the show?" he asked, making a glance past the man and waving over one of the girls he was on good terms with, Shizuko. If he was about to accidentally get anyone money he could at least make it for someone he liked. That done he gave his attention back to the blonde man. "You might as well enjoy yourself right?" he offered, hoping to figure out just what would make him enjoy himself some. He ordered his own drink, of course a fruity appletini but that was just his tastes. Men could like fruity things too right?

[/b] Sure, Shizuko had been a couple minutes late – or a couple hours, depending on whose story you believed – but that didn’t mean she wanted to forfeit her night’s work. But of course, the poles were booked for the night and she was shooed onto the floor by the coordinator. She hated the floor. She wasn’t particularly hurting for money, and she didn’t particularly enjoy giving lap dances, but she had nothing else to do. She hadn’t been on the floor for more than a few minutes when she spotted Lux waving to her from across the club as he sat next to a rather drab looking customer. She grinned. At least the night was still young and it was just getting interesting. Shizuko happily trotted over to the pair, throwing her arms around Lux and giving him a quick peck on the cheek. She was particularly fond of the male stripper, though she often questioned some of his more clandestine activities. She wasn’t really in any position to talk, though. “They kicked me out here for now.”[/b] She pouted before turning to the customer. He wasn’t unattractive, but he didn’t seem particularly interested in the show going on behind them. Shizuko slowly snaked her arm around the man’s shoulder, whispering into his ear. “Are you feeling neglected? Or maybe you just like penis?”[/b] She laughed, retreating a bit and waving down the bartender. “Give me whatever Lux got.”[/b] The bartender opened his mouth to make what Shizuko could only assume to be an underage comment, but shut it and rolled his eyes when she shot him a not-so-menacing glare. Whatever she received, it probably wouldn’t have alcohol. It was stupid that Blood let her work but not drink. Actually, he probably would let her drink, but that stupid bartender was a stuck-up prude. Thurstan played it cool, observing his own noble demeanor while still reminding himself that he was in a strip club. He hadn’t been expecting to have a man approach him first. Usually, the more curious ladies would come around and start whispering in his ear or asking him if he was lonely. That was common. This, this was not. Trace took a sip of his beer and softly placed the glass back on the table before turning nothing but his eyes to the stranger beside him.
He had white hair, like Jin’s. Although, it was hard to tell if the hair was bleached or natural, not that it really mattered. “I’m just here for drink,” he said, taking a second sip from the foaming pint in his hand. “Besides, patience is the best way to let the enjoyment come to you.” He was sure that the only reason this man was here was because Trace had gone straight to the counter without so much as a glance at the voluptuous women at the polls. His routine plan was working, as usual, maybe not quite as expected, but he was getting attention.
He hadn’t noticed the man waving the other stripper over, so it was a tad bit of a shock when he heard the lady’s voice. It sounded young, a little too young. Thurstan didn’t think much on it at that moment, just assuming that the girl had a unique voice. Then he felt the arm snake around his neck and he heard the whisper in his ear. At first, it was pleasant and exactly what he’d expected. But then she mentioned the penis and his mind went blank. Wha-what the fuck? He had never once been asked about whether he liked penis at a strip club before. It caught him a little off-guard for sure and even made him raise an eyebrow in question. He still hadn’t seen her face, and didn’t intend to bother looking.
“You’ll have to do better than that if you want my money, sweetheart.”

It wasn't really hard to guess why he had approached him but at least he had the decency to give him the choice of the girl. She was completely underage and another kind of sin herself but honestly what did he want? He was in a classy strip club which made it more sketchy than a normal strip club. Things weren't going to just be normal here. When Shizuko came up and gave him a sweet peck he shot her a smile before shrugging his shoulders. "Well I'm sure they'll give you a spot in a few. You could easily go up there and steal the show though" he reasoned, wondering if she would really go in do that. That would be very entertaining indeed, a little cat fight on the pole. Money would come flying out. That wasn't important right now though.
Shizuko came right out and asked what Lux was trying to know. He heard her whisper it right in his ear all sensual like and Lux almost lost his cool and laughed but quickly covered his mouth. He quickly replaced that with his drink which had just come, downing nearly the entire neon drink. He eyes the one brought for Shizuko, sure it had nothing related to alcohol in it. Poor girl didn't seem to be getting anything she wanted tonight. That was rather pitiful. He'd have to throw a little money her way when they were done here.
"I'm sure if you are interested in being entertained for the night giving her a good start would be in your favor" he took out his wallet, eyeing it as he paid for the drink he had gotten, making it rather clear what he was hinting toward exactly. He felt a bit bad that Shizuko wasn't getting her spotlight and making the big bucks. "Or you know me and this lovely lady happen to have the same professions if you're more into that" he put on a slight sensual smirk, tucking his wallet back into his pocket slowly. He turned around, his back to the bar and his was light and smiling again. He wasn't a dangerous stripper like some slutty one who stole. "I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving up a room for a little while. Not a lot of these girls are going to see action" he offered, glancing to a hallway with a bunch of doors for more private shows. He was pretty hopeful about his offer. All the other standable people in here were the dancing girls and it just wasn't professional for two strippers to hook up. He despised slow nights because he got completely bored. This was his solution.

The man didn’t bite, nor did he answer her question. Instead he just dismissed her, telling her to try harder. Screw that. There were plenty of other patrons who would’ve been more than happy to pay her for her services. She wasn’t really in the mood to work especially hard. The amount of effort required to squeeze what little money the man probably had was likely not worth her time. If she just wanted money, she’d look elsewhere. There were plenty of men who were looking for someone who looked a bit young. She just happened to be able to fill that role a bit too well.
Shizuko grinned, laughing at Lux’s encouragement. The thought of pushing her way onto the stage had, of course, already crossed her mind. Still, the night was winding down and she wasn’t really feeling it. “I’m not planning on it tonight. Not after they shooed me away, anyway.” Shizuko cleared her throat and straighten her back, striking a regal pose. She came up with a voice to match, too, her tone seemly mocking some sort of high-class businessman. “The customer is the one who truly loses out here!”
[/b] She took a swig of her own brightly colored drink, though the contents were far different than that of Lux’s, as her coworker spoke to the man. She didn’t quite listen, but she did catch his implication at the end. “Too tired to work hard.” Shizuko slumped onto the counter. Despite her sudden disinterest in obtaining money from the man, she still wanted to know who he was. The only logical step on that path would be to introduce herself. Still, the man was probably quite guarded. Who wouldn’t be while talking to an underage girl in a strip club. “I’m Shizuko. Work’n gal. I don’t want your money, but your name would be nice.”[/div] [/center] [newclass=.t1p]border-top: 5px solid #3399FF; border-bottom: 5px solid #3399FF; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; width: 300px; padding: 5px;[/newclass]

Thurstan looked up from his beer, actually deciding that should probably look at the girl that he was being offered. In an instant, he replied to the man beside him, “I came here for the bear because it was the nearest bar I could find. I didn’t necessarily come for the entertainment.” Before Trace could continue with his explanation, the man offered something interesting. Thurstan couldn’t quite pick out exactly what the guy was implying, but if he had any sense left in his body after these hundreds of years of existence, he knew what the guy meant.
As much as most other guys at a strip club would’ve loved to watch a couple people go to town on each other, Thurstan was not that guy. He simply shook his head. “Sorry, man. Like I said; I’m here for the beer. But if you want to keep me company, I won’t stop y-” Then the girl popped up, and he finally realized how damn young she was. She was so young, like Surǽlia when she was younger. She had so much spunk and power in her voice. Why was she here? Did she deserve to be stuck in a place like this?
Despite the thoughts running through his brain, his expression didn’t change much as he looked her over. She was cute, yeah, but so damn young. Trace couldn’t but feel this desire to aid her pile up in his gut. He was a selfless guy, always considering the welfare of others above himself, no matter who they were. Something about her just caught his attention. It didn’t take him long to notice that her drink wasn’t alcoholic. It looked like an appletini but the shade of red was a bit different, and she didn’t react to it quite right for it to be a drink. This confirmed his suspicions: she was definitely underage.
She’d introduced herself as Shizuko, a working gal. That was interesting. She certainly seemed to have no shame in her line of work. Yet, she said that she didn’t want Trace’s money and that he found hard to believe. She wanted his money; she just didn’t want to work for it. So much for a working girl. “My name’s Trace, and before you say anything else,” he looked her dead in the eyes with a rather serious expression on his face, “You wouldn’t be working in a strip club if you didn’t want my money.” Thurstan stood up from his seat, revealing his height. He was a good seven inches taller than she was and had to look down to hold his eye contact. His fingers found his wallet in the left rear pocket of his jeans.
He opened up the little leather money pouch and pulled out six 1000 Yen notes from his wallet. He then tucked it away with one hind while offering three to the girl, and three more to the man at the bar. He’d just handed each of them about 320 dollars. He was glad that he could afford to do this. Being rich as all hell had taken lots of careful planning and soul society rule breaking back when he was in Squad Six. “You can have the money.”

Shizuko was dead set on not doing shit for the night since she had been denied her good spot on the main stage. Really it wasn't that shocking. He knew how young she was. Putting some one her age up there was asking for trouble in the jailbait department. Maybe it was better to give her a few more months on the floor for the sake of their customer's bank accounts and names. Actually Blood not jumping at the chance to get paid off to not report something was a bit surprising now that he thought of it. It didn't sound like a bad business plan. Wow. He had been in the business too long it seemed. Lux shook his head at his own thoughts, checking out for a second before the man caught his attention. That wasn't quite as cute. He really had no interest in being Lux's little job of the night. He shrugged his shoulders, waving his hand back to the bartender as a sign he wanted a nother drink. "Well I guess I'll take what I can get"
As Shizuko went into her introduction his drink was brought and he watched the man walk away, making sure he wasn't looking before he held the drink out to the girl since she hadn't gotten to have what she wanted the first time. It was fine as long as the one in charge of drinks didn't know right. In the meantime the man had stood. Lux looked him over again. He was pretty tall and actually well built for his size. Lux was taller but obviously not in any kind of shape, way too thin to even compare. Then the man actually surprised him a bit. He took out some money, holding it out to the both of them.
Lux gave the man a strange look but didn't take the money right away, instead taking Shizuko's old glass, swishing around what was left inside of it. "Giving money to strangers who aren't even on the job is a bit weird you know" he mused before tipping the glass back and drinking the obviously fake drink. "My name is Lux and I do want your money" he said jokingly before reaching out and taking the money he was offered, sticking it down in his pocket. He wasn't a stranger anymore so he could get paid now. "Wouldn't be very good at my job if I didn't do something for it though. Guess I'll have to hang around" It wasn't really too much compared to what others paid but he was hardly getting any takers at the moment nor was he getting any urgent phone calls that some old client needed him so what did he care about price.
"So you know what our cute Shizuko does. Its not too hard to guess my own profession. What is it that you do with your time?" he questioned, finally getting up on a bar stool of his own, still leaning back on the counter. That was just getting way to uncomfortable to be down so low and supporting his weight like that. he played around with the long strands of his hair as he waited for some kind of answer. "Are you from around here? You must be a little bit of a ways out from where you live if you chose this place to come get a drink no?" really he was just trying to find anything to talk about. It beat sitting around being bored.

“Just because I said I didn’t want your money does mean I won’t take it if you’re giving it out for free!” Shizuko promptly justified her actions as she thumbed through the money. It was a reasonable sum, especially for doing a whole lot of jack shit. She pocketed the money with a shrug, poorly suppressing her excitement at the money. Free money was the best money. She did find it a tad ironic that not moments before the man handed her a bunch of money he’d told her she needed to work harder. Apparently giving up was a good tactic as well.
“So a girl can’t work in a strip club for fun?” Shizuko happily accepted Lux’s drink, giddily downing a good amount of the true alcoholic beverage as she spoke. It wasn’t that she never got alcohol – she was actually a fairly good drinker – but her age did make obtaining it annoying. At least her coworkers where on her side, even if the stupid bartender wasn’t. Tonight was, despite its earlier hiccups, turning out to be a decent night. She did feel a little bad that Lux was finishing her own drink.
“Despite what a lot of people think, I quite enjoy working here. It’s fun, it pays well enough, and nobody complains when I slack off. Mostly.”
[/b] Shizuko took a quick glance around suspiciously. She often didn’t take her work seriously. How could she? She did it for fun. She didn’t really need the money, nor was she particularly intent on keeping her current line of work. Still, so long as Blood didn’t mind, she wasn’t planning on leaving. “So you know what Lux and I do. What about you? I’ll be you have a nice desk job pushing paper.”[/b] [/div] [/center] [newclass=.t1p]border-top: 5px solid #3399FF; border-bottom: 5px solid #3399FF; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; width: 300px; padding: 5px;[/newclass]
