Charlotte was practically skipping down the street. She had been having the time of her life since she'd arrived in Japan a week ago, and aside from the jetlag, she'd had no problems so far. Humming to herself as she headed toward the downtown area of Karakura, thinking about what she might do today. She'd pretty much explored most of the area immediately around Karakura, so she'd decided to go into the town and explore the shops and pick up some new manga.
This town is just perfect! There are so many people here with supernatural powers! I don't think I've ever felt this many presences in one area before!
Some of the bystanders were staring at her, but she really didn't give a damn, she was in too good of a mood to care.
Wandering around the the shops, she buys only a few things before heading into one of the bookstores to find some new manga, paying attention to the other spiritual presences in the area, and unconcerned that her own presence was partially hidden from anyone else.
Quickly finding the manga section, her eyes widened with joy and she almost drooled at the amount of mangas that were here. There were SO MANY VOLUMES! With a barely contained squeal, Charlotte grabbed at least five different volumes at once, not even caring about the fact that the some of the other customers were glaring at her. After all, this was more or less heaven for Charlotte.

It had been a few days sine the incident with Takeshima and she was finally getting over it. Knowing it had been a few days since she had made an appearance in public, she felt like today was a better day than any. She slipped on a pair of jeans, and some tennis shoes. Slipping on a long sleeved t-shirt that was red and was a bit open in the front, showing a bit of cleavage. She put a glove on each hand and slipped her eye patch over her 'bad eye' making sure to put the contact in for her bad eye to make it look like she was blind in that eye. Then finally she put on her pair of glasses with the fake lenses but they looked exactly like the real thing. Finally, she tied a little piece of ribbon around her neck and she was ready to go. She headed into her garage and decided to take the bike again today. Spotting a drop of blood on the side of the bike she scowled a little bit before wiping it off.
Quickly she grabbed her helmet and slipped it on. Putting the key in the ignition she started the bike and she was off. Her hair whipping in the wind as she drove and was in the dowtown area of Karakura in no time. She felt like going to the book store today, they also had a little cafe in there. Parking her bike close to the door she chained her helmet to her bike and put the helmet then on the seat. Making her way into the store she went straight towards the cafe. Although she felt a presence, as she walked by a section in particular. A girl with blond hair she saw out of the corner of her eye. Quincy. That's what she felt, as she walked up to the counter and ordered her Carmel Mocha Frozen coffee with whip cream on top, also, in the largest cup they had. Sitting down at one of the tables she had grabbed a magazine from one of the many racks. Opening it she started looking at the pages but she really wasn't reading what was on the page.
She was more concerned with that girl. They needed more people for their group. She really couldn't judge her strength at the moment, not knowing if she was suppressing any of her reiastu or not. Naomi was suppressing hers but she unsuprressed it, trying to get the girls attention but not in a obvious was. As quick as she let it out she suppressed it again. Sitting there, she continued to look at the pictures in the National Geographic Magazine, waiting and hoping the girl would approach her and not the other way around.

Charlotte had her nose buried in volume when she felt it. Another Quincy. She raised her head momentarily, surprised at this development. After a moment, she shrugged her shoulders and went back to reading. It wasn't anything to worry about.
At least, she thought. The other Quincy flared their reiastu, and that caught Charlotte off guard. Instinctively, she tensed and suppressed her own reiastu further. Looking up from her manga, she looked over at the cafe with slightly narrowed eyes, searching for the other Quincy. It took only a moment to pick out the girl reading the National Geographic.
Well, I can only guess that that was meant to be an invitation. Either that or a test. Oh well, only one way to find out!
She closed the volume she was reading and put the one she was holding in her other hand back on the shelf before she wandered over to the small cafe in the corner of the shop. After ordering her drink, she turned around and scanned the tables, but detected no other spiritual presences. Apparently it was just the two of them.
Taking her drink, she walked over to the other Quincy. "Excuse me, do you mind if i sit here?" she asked, painfully aware of her german accent.

Naomi was still looking through her National Geographic not really paying attention. When her Frozen Carmel Mocha was sat in front of her. Taking off the little piece of straw they left on it she sucked on it greedily. Ah, now that was the stuff. Out of the corner of her eye as she was drinking she watched the girl go past and approach the counter to order her own drink. Currently the National Geographic was closed, and it was her and the girl who were the only ones n the little side cafe. The girl approached her and asked her if she could sit here. "Yeah, sure." Was all she replied with as she waited for the girl to sit down. As she did she took a few more sips on her coffee before leaning forward a bit. "I couldn't help noticing your a Quincy..." She said, with a nonchalance in her voice
As she grabbed her drink again and placed the straw between her lips. Sucking up the caramel mocha flavored coffee. It was a fantastic drink and one she hadn't had in quite a while. Looking over at the girl she crossed one leg over the other and started to speak. "I'm going to get straight to the point before you ask any questions.. But. As you know the Quincy are few in numbers." she said in almost a whisper, even though there wasn't anyone else really around, and there was some music playing that covered the conversation for the most part. "I'm a part of a group that's forming, just for Quincy. We, well, we are just trying to find our own kind right now. Meet up, do some things together, get to know each other. Share knowledge, you know, those kinds of things." She said with a polite smile on her lips. Not wanting to get this girl in too deep with the Quincy plot even though she really was getting straight to the point.

As soon as the other girl said it was okay, Charlotte sat down. She figured that this girl had something in mind to talk about, given that she'd flared her reiastu to call Charlotte's attention to her. And sure enough, she'd launched in right away. Charlotte wasn't quite sure how to respond to the girl's declaration that she knew Charlotte was a Quincy. Fortunately the girl saved her the trouble by launching into a brief explanation of why she'd called her over.
To put it simply, the idea intrigued Charlotte. Well, excited would probably be a better word.
"Just for us Quincy, huh? Sounds AWESOME! " she replied, not bothering to keep her voice down, since the only other person in the area was the barista, and he'd probably just assume they were talking about some manga.
"Oh, I haven't introduced myself, have I? I'm Charlotte, Charlotte Linden!" She was talking in her usual bubbly, mile a minute way, but was studying the girl to see if she recognized the name. "So how many other people are already part of this? And are there a lot of us around here? Because I'm sensing so many different presences in this area, I can't quite tell how many of them are our kind! And what kind of stuff would we do? Would it just be sharing abilities, training, what?" She'd said all of this in about 15 seconds. She didn't know this girl's name yet, and wondered momentarily if she was pureblood or not. Either way, her father would like to know about this group, and it would give something to rub in her family's face. After all, they wouldn't have found out if she hadn't come to Japan.

The girl was quite excited about the aspect of a group only for Quincies. So excited if there would of been anyone else around she would of surely startled them. Soon after her exciting out burst she had introduced herself as Charlotte Linden, she could recall seeing the last name in one of her books about Quincy families but couldn't recall how old her family was. The Genkaku family was a really old family. They had been a part of Karakura forever. Their family name could be found just about anywhere and it was due to all the money that was invested in the town that made it so. Soon enough the girl was spewing off a load of questions, her thoughts moving just as fast as her lips. Naomi was almost surprised that her tongue didn't twist into a knot because of how fast she was speaking. Taking another drink of her coffee she would now answer the girls questions.
"There are a few other people who are a part of this. We are slowly recruiting people for the group. It seems like every day another Quincy reveals themselves." She said, kinda of hinting at the girl in front of her as she took another brief sip before speaking again. "We would share abilities, training, the works...." She answered pausing for a second. "My name is Noami Genkaku. I'm a Pure Blooded Quincy. My family goes back a couple hundred years if I do recall. I actually have one of the biggest stock piles of soul synthesized silver, seele schendiers, and Quincy knowledge in general. My family was hoarding it for years and well.. when they passed after the genocide of our people it was passed on to me." She said, with a hint of bitterness in her voice. Wanting what Charlotte's feelings were on Shinigami. Although she was going to push the bitterness out of her voice now. She was speaking with a cute girl, and well, she was a Quincy after all.
"Can I ask you for any history on your family? My family is originally from this area. I am kinda... a celebrity around here. My family pretty much helped build this town. There is plaques and thanks almost anywhere you go. I also.. have one of the biggest mansions in Karakura." She said with a small smile. Trying to really hook this girl into the group even though it seemed that she already had. There was never a problem with trying to hook them further. What ever it took ya know?

It had only been when she needed to stop for breath (and some of her tea) that Charlotte had stopped her flood of questions. Fortunately, the other girl (who was kind of attractive to be totally honest) started speaking there, answering most of her questions and introducing herself.
Genkaku... Daddy'll probably want to know that too.
Charlotte was fairly certain her father would be grilling her about this the next time she called him (the Lindens had their own stash of Quincy artifacts and such), so she took note of what she said was in her possession of. Charlotte's smile faded slightly at the mention of the genocide of their people, but not by much. She decided to pass over the subject for now.
Charlotte blinked when she found out she was having a drink with a local celebrity, but she was treated similarly in Leipzig, so it didn't faze her.
"Well, I'm pureblood too. My family goes way back, we've been in Leipzig for a few centuries or something. We were one of the few families in Saxony to survive the purge, probably because there are so many of us, we're almost like a clan. Anyway, my dad's the CEO of Linden-Falkenrath, so I lived in a mansion too! Anyway, we have something of a stockpile of Quincy artifacts and weapons and such, but you'd probably pry them out of Daddy's (not to mention all three of my older brothers') cold, dead hands." Once again, she'd rambled most of this off in a single breath, stopping once again, only because she needed to take a drink (and a breath or two). It was nice to be able to talk to another Quincy who wasn't somehow part of either the Lindens or the Falkenraths. Between those two families, she was probably related to more than three quarters of the Quincys in Europe in some fashion.

When Naomi had stopped talking she started to idly suck on her drink. Almost anticipating the fact that she may just have to get a second one because it was that good. The girl spoke up after she as done speaking. Her lips moving at a mile a second but she was able to catch it all. Her family was Pure Blood. They've lived in Leipzig for a few centuries, and were one of the few families to actually survive the Quincy purge. Oh, how lovely, she said there was a lot of them and they were like a clan. Her dad was the CEO of some major company and she also lived in a mansion. Then she went on to talk about her stockpile of Quincy artifacts and weapons, among other things. But she'd have to pry it out of their cold dead hands if she wanted them. On the outside she was smiling at her words on the inside she was thinking. "If killing a Quincy meant I could further my agenda.. would I do it? Yes, especially since she talks about how many of them there are." It almost seemed harsh that she thought this way.
But if this girl had any valuable information she almost felt like demanding it. Fortunately for Charlotte she was not in her Niiro personality nor outfit right now. Or she may have been holding her at knife point demanding that her father give them everything she had. The Genkaku's had a mass of weapons and artifacts. Along with things that Naomi was developing right now. Like the 50 cal sniper rifle she had specially modified to shoot soul synthesized silver rounds. Or the fact that she had modified a seele schendier to have the appearance of a knife but it still had the same functionality? Not to say she was also developing many other items.. if only she could get her hands on a Shinigami. Finally, she snapped out of her little mental talk and spoke, putting down her half gone coffee. "Ah, that's very interesting. I am glad to see that the Quincy still thrive in places outside of Karakura. How many people would you say that you have in your clan?" She asked with a small smile.
Wondering if the girl could pick up the very faint hints of jealously in her voice. "And its good to speak with another Pure Blood. The second in command of this little group. Takeshima Kunou is only half-blood. Although he has really proved himself a formidable Quincy none-the-less." Her thoughts flashed back to that night filled with hollows and explosions briefly. Wondering what Takeshima was up to now. Not helping hate him a little bit after denying everything she had, but at the same time wishing she'd find him in her bed again. Her one eye looked at Charlotte.. wondering if maybe this girl could take the pang of loneliness away, although.. she was probably much younger than Naomi. Not that one could really tell that Naomi was older anyways.

Charlotte was beginning to wonder why Naomi wanted to know so much about her family, but assumed it had something to do with the fact that they were Quincys. To be honest, she was a little confused as to why she had been so adamant about her family's supply of Quincy artifacts. But it was probably just something her father had drilled into her at some point.
"There's probably around twenty-five of us, counting the Falkenraths." she answered, having not really taken the time to actually try to remember the exact number. A rough estimate would have to do.
Charlotte was a little surprised to hear the flash of jealousy that colored Naomi's voice as she continued, and wondered if she had lost several members of her family. Charlotte was actually starting to worry that she might not be able to work that well with Naomi, as they had very different view points on a several things already. Naomi seemed to hold a lot more anger at the shinigami than Charlotte did, and clearly put more emphasis on blood than she did.
"Yes, the purebloods are starting to become rather few in number. Though to be honest, I don't really care whether or not someone is Echt or Gemischt, so long as they're a halfway decent shot with their bow. I mean, I understand that we are more powerful than the Gemischt, but really, other than that, what does it matter?"
Charlotte had never agreed with her grandparents' idea that the Echt should never associate with the Gemischt, but understood that she would be required to marry another Echt to keep the bloodline pure, and she had accepted that. It was just that she didn't see why so many purebloods were adamant in never treating the Gemischt equally.

Noami sipped at her coffee as she paid close attention to Charlotte. She crossed one leg over the other as Charlotte mentioned the fact that there were about twenty-five of her clan including another clan known as the Falkenraths. This was almost a stinging blow to Naomi, her clan had been numerous and now she was the only one left. It truly irritated her to no degree but what else could she do about it? It wasn't as if she could just resurrect her old clan mates. Sipping at her coffee her thoughts brushed back to the past few years and how along she had been this entire time. Not even Takeshima wanted to share her bed and it was truly a blow to her pride. No matter what she could offer him, he just didn't want it. Visibly she sighed after her sip of coffee and looked to Charlotte as she continued to speak. As she spoke about purebloods and how they were becoming fewer in number. Charlotte didn't really care about purebloods or halfbloods and Noami really didn't either. If people would fight for her cause she didn't care about the pureness of their blood.
After she was done talking about Purebloods versus Halfbloods Naomi started to speak. "I don't care about the pureness of ones blood. Whether they are pure or half as long as they want to join my group than they are all the same to me. Takeshima, has proved himself to be a great Quincy, and I'd much prefer two of him over one pureblood any day." She said, as she took another sip of her coffee. Thinking of Takeshima and how truly loyal he was. Wondering if he knew who she really was but choosing to feint ignorance because in all reality maybe he did love her, or like her. Who knew, only time could tell with him. "And sorry, about asking about the size of your clan.. I may even be a bit jealous. My clan was completely wiped out by the Shinigami, and I still hold some ill feelings towards them." Noami spoke in all honesty towards the girl, down casting her eyes right then and there. Charlotte still had a lot of her clan, she couldn't feel the emptiness of not having anyone to go to other than yourself. She had continued to carry on the Genkaku name over these past years since her parents death, and she hoped one day she could even make them proud by resurrecting the Quincy once again.

It seemed that Naomi agreed with her on the issue of blood. However what she said next saddened her greatly. Her left hand went instantly to the silver bracelet on her right arm, the one her entire family had insisted on getting her, the one that was made to mask her presence so that hollows would not be able to find her. She wondered how she would have lived had the Lindens suffered the same fate as the Genkakus. Her eyes watered a little as she tried to imagine what it would be like if her family was dead.
"I'm so sorry. You must hate the reapers for what they did to your family." Charlotte said as she scooted her chair a little closer to Naomi's. She felt a sudden burst of shame- she'd been rambling on about her own family while Naomi had none at all. Charlotte was silent for a few moments, unsure of what to say.
"I'm sorry if I made you upset... I didn't mean to keep rambling on like that" she apologized, somewhat downcast that she'd seemingly upset Naomi. She decided to return the topic to the organization that Naomi was forming.
"So about this organization..." she started, but wasn't quite sure of how to continue for a moment. "When can I meet with the other members? Oh, and do I need to do anything beforehand to join?"
OOC: Not quite sure what to do with this lol.

Naomi was reaching the end of her carmel mocha coffee. As she listened to the woman speak. After she had spoke about the fate of her own family it seemed the girl was saddened by the fact, but Naomi didn't show an ounce of sadness on her own face. It was something she was over and wasn't over at the same time. Or maybe it was the fact that just a few days ago she had exhausted an enormous amount of tears on Takeshima. As she spilled at all her woes at his feet. Now, she felt she was incapable of tears. The girl known as Charlotte apologized for what the Shinigami had done to her family. Naomi had shook her head and waved off the apology as if it wasn't a big deal. A silence fell between them for a few moments as Naomi gently sucked at the remaining coffee and whip cream that laid at the bottom of her cup. The girl apologized a second time and Naomi once again waved the apology away. The girl being more clever than she appeared changed the subject entirely. As she wanted to know more about this organization. Asking her when she could meet the other members. A small smile formed upon her lips at these questions. "There isn't many members yet."
She said, as she finally finished the last sip of her coffee before speaking again. "We are slowly recruiting members. Takeshima may have already gotten other Quincy but your one of the few who has accepted my offer on the spot." Naomi could think of a few other people she had approached but she wasn't sure of what they were going to do yet. "The only thing I'd ask you to do when you go to my mansion is to... give me all the information you have on your family. Techniques, information on Shinigami, Arrancar, Vizard, Fullbringer, anything and everything you know, I'd love to know. I have quite an extensive collection of information but I am always searching for more to advance our race." She said as a smile went to her lips. Getting up from her seat she let the girl mull over her words for a few more moments. Tossing the empty coffee away she went up to the counter and got a second one which took a few minutes. Surely the girl would have questions when she came back. Walking back to the table she sat herself down and crossed her right leg over the left, taking a sip eagerly at her coffee she continued to speak.
'I would also enjoy training with you. Currently Takeshima and I have trained separately due to certain circumstances. I'd love to have a training partner. Hopefully if I can grow stronger and anyone else who trains with me the same. We are the last of the Quincy, we need to grow strong for any up coming battles we face.... Who knows, maybe there will be a second genocide." She said, her voice happy throughout as she was luring Charlotte deeper and deeper into the plot. Of course she would not reveal to her everything, that would be crazy. Not even Takeshima knew everything and she trusted him with her life. No, in all due time the girl known as Charlotte would meet Niiro. Maybe she'd even be given a talking to by Niiro or beaten altogether just because she could? It was hard telling what Naomi would do when she donned the alter persona.

The fact that she was one of the first members did nothing to dull Charlotte's enthusiasm. If anything, it made her even more interested. Apparently Naomi and this "Takeshima" were recruiting other Quincys where they could, but Charlotte was one of the first to accept the offer to join straight off the bat. However, Naomi's request worried her. She was asking Charlotte to give away her family's secrets, and she wasn't very comfortable with that. But before she could ask Naomi about it, she'd gotten up to get another drink. Charlotte bit her lower lip as she started trying to figure out how much she would be able to tell Naomi, since she knew her father would absolutely refuse to let her reveal all of their family's knowledge.
She snapped out of her thoughts when Naomi sat back down and began talking again. She rather welcomed the idea of training with Naomi though, it would be nice to be able to improve her skills, and maybe during the course of it, get Naomi hooked on some of the manga she liked, unless she already read them.
However, she froze when Naomi mentioned that there might be another genocide. That scared her. A lot. After regathering herself, she looked over at Naomi, rather afraid. "Do you really think there's going to be another genocide?" she asked, knowing that she would have to become stronger if she ever wanted to be able to face off with the higher levels of the reapers and survive. Collecting her self again, she decided to ask some more questions. "I'll be honest, I don't have that much information on the reapers or arrancar... And I don't know a lot of our techniques... plus, I don't think it's really my place to hand out that information, you understand, right?"

A thing Naomi learned early in life. When you were the leader of anything the easiest way to manipulate people was with fear. Tell them there going to lose your house if they don't follow you, tell them the other country has bombs they will use against us if we don't fight them...tell them your race is at risk of a second genocide. It was quite easy to hook and manipulate people, fear was a huge manipulator and could be used with the right person. Confirming her strategy Charlotte asked her if she really thought there was going to be a second genocide. Naomi could see the fear on her face. She let the girl collect herself for a second as she said she didn't have much information on the Shinigami or Arrancar.... She also didn't know a lot of the techniques of her family. Also, that it wasn't really her place to hand out information. As she said these disheartening things Naomi took a sip of her coffee. "I do believe the Shinigami will kill us again when our numbers have grown. We are finding new Quincy weekly. We need to organize and train to protect ourselves." The Shinigami had all but forgotten about the Quincy. After they had nearly wiped out their numbers why did they ever have to bother with them again? Of course, they didn't know that they should of killed every single last one of us. They were growing stronger by the day unknowing to the Shinigami.
"Like I said, we need to grow stronger together. Some day they will come back and we will not roll over and die like we did last time." A small smile grew on her lips at the thought of murdering Shinigami. Captains, Lieutenants, Seated members, even the cannon fodder. All of them dead, tearing son from mother, on and on. She would make them feel the same lonely feeling she had been harboring all these years. "I am willing to exchange information with you, but if you cannot exchange information with me then will have to keep the information to ourselves for the time being. The exchanging of information is mutual. So, when you get permission to share, I will also gladly share my own." She said with a polite smile. Now, she learned forward to speak to Charlotte a little more personally.
"Trust me, I am sure I have more information. I've been searching the world for these things, and money is nothing compared to Quincy artifacts. I got blue prints to Quincy weapons, I've even managed to create a few of my own. I have stock piles of thousands of Seele Schendiers and the Soul Synthesized silver I feel like I could fill foot ball stadiums with. Its in both our best interests to exchange information and resources as soon as possible...." She trailed off, letting the girl mull over everything she had just said. Since it was a lot to take in. Naomi was still leaning closer to her as she spoke a few more words. "It would also be good to warn your clan about the impending genocide. I am sure they would also like to prepare." Leaning back in her chair she drank more of her coffee giving Charlotte her turn to speak.

Naomi's answer did little to reassure Charlotte. Rather, it worried her even more. The idea that the Quincys would be massacred again was truly horrifying to Charlotte. More and more the idea of joining with Naomi was very appealing. She knew she would need a lot of training if she was ever going to be able to face down any of the major members of the Shinigami faction.
However the fact that Naomi was only willing to share information in return for what the Lindens knew made Charlotte a little nervous. She shifted a little uncomfortably in her chair, trying to figure out how she could spin this to her family. Her father very rarely allowed anyone to have access to their archives, though the fact that Naomi would be training Charlotte might give him reason to allow her to tell Naomi what she knew.
Her eyes bulged when she heard how many artifacts Naomi had. The Lindens didn't have anywhere close to the amounts she was talking about, even though they had a massive archive of information on the Quincy. Charlotte almost jumped when Naomi leaned forward to whisper in her ear, as she had been caught up in her thoughts.
"Y-yeah, besides, I'll need to talk to them anyway, ya know, so I can get access to our archives." she said, attempting to regain her composure. "Perhaps we could begin training some time soon? It may take some time before they will send me the information. In any case, we don't have anywhere near the amount of our people's artifacts as you do- most of our "stockpile," here she made air quotes, "Is actually books and information on Quincy abilities. We have one of the largest archives in Europe actually."
