This was the first incarnation of Jin, and his bankai. Nothing to even do with blood at all.
Oodama's blade while in shikai retains itself rather than disappearing into nothing. The tiger is also reduced down to size, but that is not all. With Oodama's control, he can resize the Tiger at his will, but, doing so has it's pros and cons.
If resize to become bigger, His blade becomes more unstable. If it becomes small, the control over his reietsu, and his techniques are increased as well.
By reducing the bankai down to size, Oodama essentially created a blade for himself. This blade is made of condensed reietsu that he circulates on the outside, and inside of his body. He controls what it does, and how it is used. He can use it to block certain attacks, and he can do one other thing, but at a cost.
Big bad Tiger -
Upon gaining a blade during bankai, the ability that Oodama had that he used with his hands by swinging them when it was coated with reietsu, now is done by the tiger. The tiger, when smaller, cannot do the attack as efficient as Oodama could, but on the other hand, when it is bigger, despite the fact that the blade becomes more unstable, it also increases the potency of the attack. Making it faster, stronger, much harder to block, so on and so forth.
Trait enhancement -
By using the reietsu on the tendons in his muscles, Oodama increases the rate at which they work, their endurance, making other things possible that weren't before. This is done by wrapping his reietsu around the tendon. Speed increases the rate at which they move and make the body limps move. The strength enhancement is done by causing the muscles not rip easily. This of course, has it's draw backs. It may help in the beginning, but when it's all said and done, once he leaves bankai, or uses the abilities too much, Oodama's muscle go through extreme pain, and if he moves much at all, he will tear them, making him virtually useless.
Shishin no za Mabushii Getsuei(Envoy of the radiant moon)
Oodama starts by adding reietsu to the blade, then by spinning it in a circular motion, he creates the effect of a moon appearing. This is of course just the light of the blade spinning quickly. Then placing his hand on the middle of the blade, and pushing reietsu from his hand toward the 'moon' he will make a blast of reietsu that appears to take the form of two animals. One being a dragon, and the other being a tiger. The two will strike swiftly, and can cause major damage, if done to an unmoving target, it can kill. The attack must strike the chest of the head however. Although fast and powerful, the attack is still new, and as such, requires much concentration, and a lot of reietsu.
It was so very bad and just...random as fuck. Big ass tiger? lolololol
