Ever since Shuichi arrived in the human world with his sister and Koharu he’d been fighting off hollows, well, ever since their soul pagers went into overdrive alerting them to a massive hollow swarm in separate areas of the town, which might as well have been immediately after they arrived. The trio agreed to split up, Koharu going into town while Kazue went to the river and he took the forest. The forest seemed to have the second largest concentration of hollows around and Shuichi took them all on without too much trouble, though by the end of everything he had to rest himself as he was quite drained after. Sitting down under a shaded tree, he pulled out his soul pager and checked his messages, seeing that Kazue sent him something to let him know she disposed of her batch of hollows and an update on Koharu, telling him she was alright as well.

He hadn’t realized it till he set down his soul pager, but it had already faded into night time. He had been fighting that long? Shaking his head with a sigh he closed his eyes and exhaled a deep breath, that was the longest he had fought without hollowfying, he grinned at the thought. That was something to be proud of. He relaxed, leaning back on the cool trunk of the tree, he felt entitled to the rest after taking out a large swarm of hollow all on his own. However he never let his guard down, he had been warned many a time that there were strange things happening in the human world, strange creatures had been attacking anything they could, so while he allowed himself to rest and recover his energy he never once stopped paying attention to his surroundings.

It wasn’t till about twenty minutes into his relaxation period that he felt something odd, a strong reiatsu nearby, quickly grabbing his zanpakuto he stood up, running as fast as he could towards whatever this thing was. He just knew it was an enemy, it had to be, it felt like a hollow. Sadly Shuichi had little experience dealing with Arrancar, so he was assuming it was just one really strong hollow that had gotten away during the earlier swarm. He cursed for letting something slip past him, but then he just reassured himself that he was still new to battles like that and that it wasn’t his fault, newbies were bound to make some mistakes; it would be corrected as soon as he found and destroyed this other hollow..

Wenceslas Coronado de la Cima

At about 6 pm, an arrancar wearing the standard arrancar uniform, with his wine red band, the current lone fraccion of the Second Espada, Wenceslas Coronado de la Cima, stepped out of a garganta which opened in the mellow sky over Kagamino City near the "haunted" forest. Though his visit to this area occurred frequently, today seemed different since he did not have his golden overcoat over his garbs though he did have both his golden necklace and matching bracelets on. He emerged with his arms crossed and eyes closed as usual, frustrated that he had to go out and hunt his own prey. How primitive...

[/color] He made this voyage to this specific forest in the human world at this time because most of his arrancar comrades had already returned to the lone sands of Hueco Mundo so they would not see him performing such a lowly common task.

His body fell from the air rustling his clothing and golden hair for the time he descended. Once he completed his silent landing, he opened his eyes to give a dull stare to the forest before him. He first decided to come to this forest several weeks ago because, although he did not have many memories of his life before he evolved into an arrancar, he still knew hollow had an affinity to forests and the shadows for some reason. Keeping his arms crossed, he progressed into the forest. He sensed several variations of reiatsu, even including that of a shinigami, thanks to his rather precise pesquisa. Despite the diversity, he continued to step through the dark forest's black passages aimlessly, ignoring any rustling emerging from the shaded areas until he saw the inhuman glow of yellow eyes before him. The pair of eyes meet with his own piercing crimson eyes and rose two feet above Wenceslas' head. Hopefully this will do... Wenceslas', with his pride harmed every second he stood in the forest, somehow found a way to reassure himself and wear his haughty expression and stretch out his arms to declare to the hollow, "Rejoice, favored one. Your life has been deemed fitting enough to satisfy my hunger. Savor every point of this promotion!"

The hollow, much larger than Wenceslas, charged at him for a full body take down of the six foot male arrancar. Wenceslas, naturally completely unphased, concentrated reiryoku in his still extended right hand to form a compact, yet highly dense, ball of crimson red energy which wrapped itself in a glossy envelope. Once the hollow reached arm's length from Wenceslas, without a change in his facial expression, Wenceslas stuffed the Bala Encerrada into the hollow's lower abdomen area which caused the hollow to immediately explode into bits of black dust which almost faded into the darkening forest's shadows.

The glossy cover of the bala rotated and rapidly changed forms in Wenceslas' hand to form a wine glass about 1/3 filled with red wine formed by absorbing the charred body of the hollow. Wenceslas raised the glass to eye level before his eyes shot to his right where the sound of something running grew. Before, Wenceslas had brushed off the arbitrary shinigami reiatsu because he thought if the shinigami had not died, it would get lost and killed by some horde of hollow. To his surprise, he saw a purple man running in his direction holding a zanpakto and rather sure of the direction he ran in. The reiatsu coming from the shinigami paled in comparison to Wenceslas', so Wenceslas assumed the shinigami could not read reiatsu well if it wished to fight Wenceslas. Doing both of them a favor, Wenceslas turned toward the way he entered and took a sip from his wine glass before taking some leisurely steps away from where he defeated the hollow.[/div]
