APPEARANCE:
The best place to start with Sumitomo is the first area people are normally drawn to look, and that is his face. Unlike most Hollows, Sumitomo does not have a mask in the traditional sense; rather it would be easier to think of it as a helmet. Sumitomo’s Hollow mask takes the form of a deeply decayed human skull that has multiple fractures that crisscross the skull in a spider web like pattern. The markings on his mask are centered around Sumitomo’s left eye are light spider web pattern that radiates outwards from the eye socket. Currently the pattern has been reduced to about one third of its original size due to the damage that Sumitomo received at the hands of the priest that named him. Now, while Sumitomo’s mask does resemble that of a human skull there is a major difference. Recently in his past Sumitomo confronted a spiritually powerful human who attacked the Hollow and damaged his mask, creating a large hole and indention where his left eye socket is rendering him unable to see from it. Speaking of eyes, Sumitomo has golden ellipses reminiscent of a wild beast that’s been caged. Just a look from his eye is enough to send lesser hollows fleeing from the ancient.
Despite the rather towering frame of Sumitomo and the illusionary bulk given him by the black strands of hair that hang from the skeletons he carries, Sumitomo has a fairly small body type. When standing at his full height, Sumitomo reaches a little over 9 feet tall but the Hollow only stands this way when getting ready to enter battle in an effort to dissuade attackers. For almost any other instance Sumitomo chooses to crouch down on his haunches, lowering his height by about three feet making the Hollow as tall as most others in the world around him.
This extensive height is caused by the elongation of the bones in his legs and arms as well as an elongation of his spine and chest. All in all, Sumitomo's arm span is twice that of humans at six feet due to the elongated forearm and humerus. The left hand of the hollow is further different in that each finger has an extra joint that increases the size of the hand overall. However, the right hand of Sumitomo has been replaced with a large curved blade that is about three feet long, two inches thick, and a foot tall. The arms of the Hollow appear to merely be constructed the same way as a human skeleton but stretched. The chest of the Hollow is a very pronounced triangle shape with old, yellowed, bone like skin stretching over the chest and exposing the ribs and other basic bone structure. This skin connects to the pelvis where it breaks off and melds into the basic structure of the Hollow’s legs which take the appearance of elongated human bones. The difference comes at his feet where Sumitomo has three talon like claws, two in the front and one in the back, instead of a normal human foot.
The rather ghastly appearance of Sumitomo is covered by a thick cloak of coarse black hair that the Hollow has dutifully grown over the course of the Millennia. The hair is a deep dark black and appears to be very dull. The growth of hair has, over time, become tangling into one large tangled nest that allows Sumitomo to hide the rather deformed body he poses from the wandering eye. The Hollow even uses it as a way to hide the large blade on his left arm. Sumitomo merely tucks the blade away into the hair and can bring it out in an instant when it is needed, cutting through any tangle that might impeded him. Though it appears that it would be hard to get out of, Sumitomo has tamed the hair to a certain degree so that he can escape through the top of the cloak if it ever become a hindrance to him in battle or in general. Sumitomo has been known to use this cloak of hair to kill people if they get too close to him, the Hollow snatches a hand out and draws the victim in where they began to thrash. The thrashing entangles them deeply into the cloak and after a period of time one of the many nooses that Sumitomo has woven will settle around their neck. When that happens, Sumitomo tightens it suddenly and either breaks his victim’s neck or slowly asphyxiates them.
Now the question is where did the hairs come from? Sumitomo’s body is hairless and smooth with the texture of old paper, so where did the hair originate? The answer is from the dozen skeletons that Sumitomo has accumulated over his years on the Earth. Each skeleton is the remains of a particularly powerful human that stood against Sumitomo and fell. The hollow began to collect their corpses in the first hundred years of his life and the collection has grown since then. The skeletons have been woven in the cloak as it grew over the years but despite their decay the one thing that was still given life was their hair. It grew and continues to grow to this day, each strand being woven into the cloak to add to its thickness. The most recent corpse to be added to the mix, the only one that still has flesh upon it but even that is now starting to fall away, is the corpse of the human priest that managed to destroy Sumitomo’s left eye. This corpse hangs directly in front of the hollow with a black noose around its neck, slowly wasting away till it is a skeleton like its brethren and can be woven into the cloak.
The combination of all these factors creates a rather fearsome creature that is not only old, but powerful. Sumitomo has, over the centuries, developed a certain aura and stature that few have the ability to ignore. The Hollow is so advanced in age that he has developed the old, wise aura that so many of those that reach old age begin to wear. This wise quality has settled across his shoulder like a mantle, but this is merely one aspect of the Hollow and the one that is most benign. An undercurrent that flows through this mantle is that of destruction. It crackles with every step and look, a feeling that at any moment everything you’ve known and loved can be obliterated. These two aspects coupled with the condescending look that all too often invades Sumitomo gaze, creates an aura that give the impression that you stand before a being that witnessed the creation of the world and will be there to witness its destruction.
To reflect the advanced age of Sumitomo and his power, the Hollow’s reiatsu has changed over time to better represent the spirit of the Hollow. Now, Sumitomo’s reiatsu takes the form of a dark, violent, purple lightning that courses around the body of the Hollow. It snaps and crackles with his mood, becoming more active and noticeable the more upset the Hollow becomes or the more power he releases. The pattern of his Reiatsu is merely a reflection of the ability that Sumitomo poses, becoming an extension of it and vice versa. The color, on the other hand, came about by a variety of personality factors. Sumitomo sees himself and is generally perceived by others as a very wise and intelligent individual as well as one that is ambitious as well as something of an enigma. These things are a representation of the color purple and as Sumitomo learned this his reiatsu began to match it. The dark violent color of the purple is leased to the reiatsu by the great feelings of gloom and frustration that Sumitomo feels at the immense task that is his goal.
BRIEF PERSONALITY
GENERAL INFO
. . . the Abyss stares also into you
LIKES:
Storms
Even as a young child, Sumitomo was always fascinated with thunderstorms. The young child loved the way the wind felt blowing against his skin, the way the rain fell and how cool it was, the reverberating and powerful sound of the thunder, but his favorite part was when the bright white lights struck across the sky in complicated patterns. This love for thunderstorms was translated over into the life as a Hollow, though the appreciation for thunderstorms became a tad bit darker. Gone was the childlike innocence and delight in this naturally occurring event and it was replaced with a dark respect for a powerful force of nature. A force of destruction that is truly dangerous . . . yes . . . Sumitomo no longer revels in the thought of thunderstorm, but rather at their power to cause death and destruction.
Festivals
Another one of the few things that Sumitomo is still able to take pleasure in as a Hollow are the festivals that humans celebrate. Sumitomo views these events as an inner expression that these humans are not content with the way things are, that they desire some form of change. To the Hollow, these festivals appear to be the one time were no one is rejected or cast out. Everyone dons masks and walk throughout their neighbors and friends, each of them being accepted for who they are and celebrating this fact. Such a stark contrast to how the normal world is, festivals have always been a secret indulgence of the Hollow and these festivals appear to be the only times that the Hollow does not actively hunt. Instead, he lurks at these events to watch how the humans play and celebrate, knowing that when his goal is accomplished there will be a festival every day.
Graveyards
Graveyards are only a more recent interest of the Hollow, his attention only being drawn to them in the latter half of his existence as a hollow. For some inexplicable reason, the Hollow has become drawn to graveyards and finds a gentle sense of peace in them. Something about the numerous blocks of stones with names, dates, and memories carved into them fill the Hollow with a sense of acceptance, a sense that not all is truly lost. In his time of self-doubt it is to graveyards that Sumitomo runs, the time and peace that the Hollow receives allows him to focus his mind and reinforce his beliefs.
DISLIKES:
Cities
Cities have always rubbed Sumitomo the wrong way. There are many reasons for which, one of them being the basic interference that he experiences with his abilities in cities seeing as his electricity is much more difficult to control in such a setting. Besides this Sumitomo feels mildly claustrophobic in cities. The reason for this is that Sumitomo was born and raised in the forest; it was all he knew for a long time even as a Hollow. For some reason, being unable to see the sky and being surrounded by buildings that beat even the tallest trees the Hollow has seen in height makes him anxious. Another reason why the Hollow prefers to avoid cities are the multitude of people, all of the large crowds put the Hollow on edge as the feeling of all the spirits of these people press down on him. That being said, Sumitomo understands how much of a resource cities can be with their large pool of spirits and nearly infinite source of power for the Hollow. Sumitomo likes something that is a little bit in-between a city and a bump in the road, a place like . . . Karakura Town.
Mirrors
Besides cities there is really only one other thing that Sumitomo feels enough dislike for to mention and that is mirrors. Mirrors have always seemed to represent what was wrong with the world in its current state. They are the symbol to Sumitomo of rejection because they force one to look at their self and pass judgment on their own mind, body, and soul. To the Hollow this is where the line gets crossed. It is bad enough that the world that exists now promotes judging and ostracizing of others, but when it reaches down and makes it so that a person rejects themselves, a line has been crossed. Sumitomo makes it a point to destroy any mirror that he comes across with little regard for what purpose it serves or who is looking into it.
NEGATIVE TRAITS:
Rebellious
Sumitomo was never one to simply sit back and take orders, not even when he was alive did the spirit cower before others and meekly accept their orders. Always, Sumitomo has had to be on the pinnacle! The Hollow has always been one to give orders and so when forced to wear the girdle of subservience it chafes him greatly. Just because he prefers to lead does not mean that he cannot follow, Sumitomo recognizes that there are those out their more powerful and intelligent than himself at the moment. He understands that sometimes necessity overrides your wants and that you do have to bow your head. Even when Sumitomo accepts this and submits himself to the will of others the Hollow actively seeks out ways to circumvent their wishes to accomplish his own goals, sabotaging everything in order to get what he wants. Sumitomo makes a poor follower, but a wise leader would know how to handle this rather rebellious being.
Secretive
Sumitomo is more than aware that the world is larger and more complicated than one being and that in order to accomplish his final goal that he will be forced to work with others. But just because Sumitomo accepts this and deals with it does not mean he fully embraces it. To lend a saying from the British, too many cooks spoil the broth. Sumitomo is an incredibly secretive being, never fully revealing his feelings or plans to any of those around him. When forced to work with others the Hollow only informs them of their duty and what they should expect, they are never given a peak at the larger picture unless they are able to put that together themselves. This trait arose from a combination of the experiences of Sumitomo as a human the numerous examples of what can happen when too many people are let in on a plan. After all, two can keep a secret if one is dead.
Morbid
Being a creature of death and decay, Sumitomo has developed a natural inclination for the morbid. Choosing to haunt graveyards and various funeral areas, the Hollow has developed an unnatural interest in the process of decomposition and enjoys nothing more than to sit and watch something rot. Additionally, the Hollow has become rather interested in the unique ways that humans express their pain of the world by piercing their skin and bodies with hooks and claws. Another area where the Hollow has an unnatural interest is the effects of radiation on humans. After the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Sumitomo stood and watched as the humans began to succumb and die to the sickness caused by the radiation. All of these interests combine within the Hollow to for a creature that is more than willing to cause the most pain possible and inflict various wounds on people to see what might happen to them.
Cheerless
All too often, Sumitomo succumbs to the natural inclination of the Hollow and embraces the melancholy of his existence. Sumitomo has come to understand that the world is cruel and heartless place, a place where any happiness is fleeting and the light burns more than it comforts. In this stark reality, Sumitomo has embraced these facts and turned them to his advantage. Becoming a rather morbid creature, Sumitomo faces every day with a dark pessimism that seeps over into all other aspects of his life. In fact, the only place where the Hollow shows any form of optimism is when it comes to his final goal. In this area, Sumitomo is more than assured that the end will be the one he aims for.
Lonely
Since his birth into this life, Sumitomo’s existence has been one of rejection and loneliness. Shunned and hated by those in his life, Sumitomo has always been on his own with few people that he trusts and can confide in. This trait passed over into his death and resulted in the natural loneliness of the Hollows to amplify. Sumitomo understands that to group together is to combine you weaknesses and as such chooses to abstain from joining large organizations or combining his forces with other. The Hollow does not enjoy the feeling of being alone and in fact seeks a place where he can be accepted, but what he hates more is being forced to rely and trust others. Sumitomo believes that everyone has their own agenda and they will use him to accomplish what that goal is. Rejection, distrust, and a disdain for teamwork make Sumitomo a very lonely creature indeed.
Amoral
The end justifies the means. This is the mantra of Sumitomo and the belief he clings to in time of self-doubt. The Hollow will do whatever is necessary to accomplish his final goal, walking over and destroying anyone or thing that happens to stand in his way. Amoral is the best way to describe his view of the world. Sumitomo sees nothing in black and white; rather everything is a shade of gray. Anything goes, so long as the end goal is justifiable. This amoral attitude makes it very difficult for Sumitomo to develop any lasting relationships with those around him because they both know that at any second Sumitomo could discard them if it meant accomplishing his task. At the end of the day, Sumitomo is just as likely to help you stand as he is to knock you down; whatever is best for him is what he will do.
Resentful
Sumitomo is poison; it flows through his veins and seeps off him wherever he goes, a poison of anger and hatred, a poison of resentment. Sumitomo never forgives and he never forgets. Anything done against him is remembered and marked down in his head, a list of your transgressions against him. These transgression can literally be anything, so long as Sumitomo sees it as a slight against him it counts. The list is longer for some than for others and every once and a while there are even those who get their transgressions erased. Everyone has a tab and everyone must, one day, pay their dues.
POSITIVE TRAITS:
Affectionate
A rather unexpected trait for a Hollow is one of affection but it is an attribute that Sumitomo possess. This affection extends only to children and those he perceives as the out casts of society, the fringe walkers. Being a member of this group Sumitomo has a special place for them in his heart, or lack thereof, and is extremely fond of beings like them. In fact, it is not uncommon for Sumitomo to choose one of these fringe walkers as a pet and take it with him on his travels. It is important to note that the affection that Sumitomo feels towards these beings does have its limits and when that limit is crossed Sumitomo takes their lives in the most humane and quick manner he can.
Courteous
This trait is not something that existed inherently within Sumitomo but rather was a trait that the Hollow acquired over his years walking the Earth. Sumitomo is very aware that courtesy is a sign of respect and the Hollow makes sure that all are given the courtesy they’re due. Friend and foe alike are given the respect and courtesy they deserve based upon their rank and power. That being said, at a certain point Sumitomo reaches the level where he no longer thinks that you deserve courtesy. This point is reached in one of two ways. Either you are immensely week when compared to Sumitomo or you first show discourtesy to him. When either of the ultimatums are reached the Hollow takes of the kid gloves, so to speak, and goes hard as a mofo against whomever it is.
Flexible
Flexibility in the wild is the sign of the survivor. There is no possible way that Sumitomo could have reached the age that he is without being as flexible as he was. As they say, even the best laid plans of mice and men go awry; Sumitomo is one of the few who can adapt after this fact. It doesn’t matter whatever the situation the Hollow always has at least two exit strategies if things go to shit too quickly. The flexibility of his mind not only ensures his survival by contributes to the imagination of the Hollow as well. Sumitomo is capable of performing mental acrobatics that lead him to the development of even more potent and powerful attacks. All in all, Sumitomo’s mind can best be described as a rubber band; there are 999 uses for it you just have to discover them yourself.
Practical
As Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Be practical as well as generous in your ideals. Keep your eyes on the stars, but remember to keep your feet on the ground.” This is a philosophy that Sumitomo can more than get behind. Over the course of his life, the Hollow has seen kingdoms rise and fall a dozen times and after the fires cooled and the smoked cleared it was always the most practical that survived. Sumitomo realizes that his goals are quite . . . a challenge, but the Hollow also knows that it is possible to achieve what he aims for and he merely needs to keep the methods practical. This is most evident in the style of battle the Hollow uses. Instead of complicated illusions or mind bending techniques, the Hollow relies are raw power to accomplish his goals. Barbaric? Yes. Practical? Yes. Effective? Definitely. But make no mistake, just because Sumitomo prefers simple and practical methods does not mean he is incapable of the more complicated plans and tactics.
Sympathetic
Another rather interesting trait for a Hollow to have is that of sympathy, but that is exactly what Sumitomo is. His very existence as a Hollow is characterized by brutal pain, empty hunger, unrighteous fury, and deep cutting sadness. These are the traits that Sumitomo has been forced to live with for over 2400 years and as such is quite familiar with their bitter bite. It is because of this that the Hollow is able to look around at the world of suffering that the humans and Shinigami live in and feel their pain. Sumitomo cries for them in their loneliness and their sorrow and seeks to assuage it the only way he can, by removing them from that world. Sumitomo’s sympathy is a dark sympathy indeed.
Calm
Another attribute that Sumitomo gained more from old age than anything else, a calmness of mind and spirit that is so uncommon among Hollows of his level. The Hollow has existed for centuries and in that time has learned that more often than not, the folly of man is that of emotion. They are too quick to passion, too quick to anger and Sumitomo was like this at one point. In the very beginning of his time as a Hollow, Sumitomo let the rage and sadness within him run rampant and destroyed anything that he could. However, as he aged time tempered that flame and honed it so that the rage and sadness became a weapon wielded by the calm mind of time. Sumitomo is very rarely rushed to anger or any sort of impulsive movement, but when he is the Hollow regains control of himself as quickly as possible. It is only the calmness of the exterior that holds the beast below at bay.
Observant
Even as a human child, Sumitomo was a very curious being; he always wanted to know more about the world around him and sought out the answers as best he could. This trait seeped over into death when after Sumitomo calmed his spirit and he was able to be curious about the world again. The human race evolved and changed at such an astonishing rate that the Hollow was unable to keep up. Everywhere he looked his curiosity was fanned and it roared like a fire, but eventually if became too much for the Hollow. The curiosity within him began to wither and die, there was too much changing and evolving. Before he had the answer to one question three dozen more appeared before him. Despite the withering of his curiosity, the mind of the Hollow could never quite let go of the observance that piqued it in the first place. Nowadays, Sumitomo looks and notices most things but does not make the connection between them unless forced too. When the Hollow does bend his mind to a certain topic he absorbs the details of it and connects them in a manner so that he can understand them. The only issue is finding a topic that sufficiently piques his interest enough to combine the observations.
Meticulous
This final trait is the result of a number of factors, the primary ones being Sumitomo’s practicality, observance, old age, and flexibility. Having realized that a number of things can go wrong with the plans that he lays out, the Hollow has bent his mind to observing every little thing about his plans. He goes over them with a fine toothed comb; picking apart each and every level of his plans and goals and words. Everything is meticulous examined multiple times before anything is acted upon. Another way in which the Hollow is meticulous is by the hoarding of his spiritual power. Sumitomo never spends any energy than what is absolutely necessary and practical. All details are seen and attended to before the Hollow does anything.
EXTRAS:
Theme: Shades Of
Goal
Believe it or not Sumitomo is not just some mindless Hollow that kills and gorges it’s self just because. No, Sumitomo is an abomination with a purpose; an ancient creature with a goal that spells the end of all life if he becomes successful. Sumitomo is a Hollow with a philosophy. The Hollow has looked around at all of the pain and suffering in the world, all the hatred and greed, the envy and lust; he has looked at all these things and felt pity on those around him. Those that are good and whole try to change those who are not and are rejected. Those that are evil seek to pervert those that are good and are rejected. The world revolves around what group you are in. Sumitomo seeks an end to all of this. All the pain, suffering, and rejection felt by every being who has ever existed. Sumitomo has prepared a place for them where this is all washed away, where all things come together as one and there is no individual. All have been merged, none are forgotten and there is no pain or suffering. This place that Sumitomo has prepared . . . it is within him. Sumitomo’s goal is the complete and utter consumption of every spirit in existence in order to unite them within himself as one power. Sumitomo will do whatever it takes to achieve this, whatever price must be paid will be paid tenfold and may whatever forces out there help you if you try to stop him.

WEAPONS:
The right hand of Sumitomo has been replaced with a large curved blade that is about three feet long, two inches thick, and a foot tall.
HOLLOW POWERS:
type: Electrcity
ability: Sumitomo's Hollow Power is based on one of the single most destructive and useful forces on the face of the Earth, electricity. Sumitomo has the ability to manipulate the electricity around him as well as generate it from within his own body. For the most part, Sumitomo chooses to draw his power from the static electricity around him. When the power is contained inside of his body, the electricity is impregnated with the hollow's own Reiryoku giving it the ability to hurt other spiritual beings. However, Sumitomo can also use electricity naturally generated by his own body, which is significantly more than a human would generate or even another Hollow, as ammunition. That being said, Sumitomo is not limited to drawing power just from these two areas; anything that carries an electrical current can be drawn upon to fill the Hollow with power.
With such an ambiguous energy source, one would think the power released from Sumitomo would be hard to detect. What I mean by this, is that one would be unable to tell if a blast of lightning was the result of the Hollow's attack or a natural incident. Fortunately, for those that Sumitomo faces in battle, the reiatsu of the Hollow taints the electricity with his body and turns it a dark, violent, purple. Thus, when Sumitomo attacks his powers are a dark purple distinguishing it from regular and naturally occurring electricity.
While electricity is a very potent weapon and tool, it does have the down side of being slightly difficult to harvest in a pinch without a large source nearby. To correct this flaw in his power, Sumitomo has discovered that he can draw electricity within his body and store it there for use whenever he desires. Of course, having all this electricity coursing throughout your body does cause some side effects. Due to the interference that occurs when Sumitomo is near electronics, because of the electricity, Sumitomo is fairly easy to track in the modern era even when he suppresses his Reiatsu. The flip side to this is that if the amount of electricity contained within Sumitomo is over a certain amount, it will naturally leave his body when touched by anything that can conduct electricity.
There is one overwhelming advantage that Sumitomo receives from his ability, and that is a very high resistance to lightning or electrical based attacks. While not completely invulnerable, he is able to diffuse a portion of the damage and deflect it away from himself. A disadvantage of this ability is that the electricity, while it can be controlled to a certain degree, is still electricity and is attracted to conductors. This makes combat in any sort of urban area exceptionally taxing on Sumitomo for while he receives an almost never ending supply of electricity, it is significantly harder to control. The second major disadvantage of this ability is that there are some thing the electricity has none to very little effect over. For the most part, the two areas where Sumitomo's power does not work against are rubber and stone.
Despite the numerous disadvantages of Electrokinesis, the potential for techniques more than makes up for the weaknesses. Electricity is an incredibly versatile and potent force and during the millennia that Sumitomo has been alive, the hollow has discovered multiple ways to control his ability and manifest it. For the most part, all of his techniques are boiled down into two basic categories. The first is electrical discharges, these are essentially just large blasts of electricity, a good example would be lightning, and are primarily for offensive attacks. The second category that Sumitomo has explored within his ability are electrical fields, these are, more often than not, passive skills and defensive abilities such as shields.
techniques:
For: Hollow
Name: Boltstrike
Type: Offensive
Cooldown: None
Cost: Minimally Taxing
Range: Short, Mid, Long
Description: One of the more basic of the Hollow's attacking techniques, Boltstrike is simply the focusing of the Hollow's electrical power into his finger tips to unleash a bolt of lightning. A max of 5 bolts can be launched per post.
For: Hollow
Name: Through the Storm
Type: Offensive
Cooldown: 2 rounds
Cost: Moderately Taxing
Range: Mid to Long
Description: Sumitomo summons around 10 small orbs of compressed electricity around itself and unleashes the power within these orbs outward. The orbs are the same dark purple as the reiatsu of the Hollow and have the red spiderweb pattern on the front of the orb that Sumitomo has on its skull. The orbs can be arranged however Sumitomo chooses and their power is always released outward from the emblem on the orb. The effect of this technique is a virtual rain of lightning that crashed down upon the opponent.
For: Hollow
Name: Eye of the Demon
Type: Defensive
Cooldown: 2 Round
Cost: Minimally Taxing
Range: Short
Description: By channeling the electrically charged reiryoku of the Hollow outward and shaping into a large orb, Sumitomo is able to construct a shield around himself that protects him from physical and spiritual attacks. The shield is composed of the hardened Reiryoku of the Hollow and is charged with the electricity contained within its body. The orb is the same dark purple as the rest of his electricity by is almost transparent and has the same spiderweb design as his mask. If anything comes into contact with the shield it unleashes a mild electrical shock, not enough to cause damage, to warn the being that touched it.
For: Hollow
Name: Eye of the Storm
Type: Offensive
Cooldown: 5 Rounds
Cost: Maximally Taxing (Can only be used twice per thread)
Range: Long
Description: The epitome of Sumitomo's Hollow Power, the final art in destruction, The Eye of the Storm is the single most powerful technique that this hollow has at his disposal; it even surpasses Cero in its strength and destructive power. The Hollow draws deep from the well of power contained within and pulls it to the surface. The Reiatsu of Sumitomo surges around the Hollow manfesting small bolts of dark purple lightning that crackle and leap around him. The Hollow holds out his hand with the palm facing the sky and then a multitude of the small purple bolts of lightning explode from all over the Hollow and focus themselves in the area above his hand. There the electricity begins to condense into a dark purple orb of light roughly the size of a basketball, after this the orb shrinks suddenly to the size of a marble. Once this has occurred, the small orb travels from the palm of Sumitomo to the tip if his middle finger where it rests, waiting to be unleashed. Then Sumitomo turns and point the orb at whatever he is targeting and lets looses the power being contained. The orb explodes outward as a colossal bolt of dark purple lightning.
