Ah, Rome, the beautiful capital of Italy and home to the Vatican, capital of the Catholic religion. As of recently, the Consecro have also taken up residence there, hence Thurstan’s reason for being in the city. His sneakers landed almost soundlessly on the sidewalk as he passed through the oddly modern streets of this ancient looking city. Despite being a modern world capital, Rome was still full of old architecture, with few modern buildings to speak of, or at least, exteriorly modern. On the inside, most of the buildings probably looked just like anywhere else.
He’d left his bike back in Japan, which was a pain, but since it was so crowded here it wasn’t like he’d be able to speed around everywhere. Something about walking everywhere made it seem a little rewarding in its own way, even though it took longer to get places. He walked past markets and a designer clothing store, ignoring the squealing girls inside that sounded like they’d just met Justin Beiber. Fuck that guy. Pretentious little shit.
The visored kept making his way through the streets. He’d come to find out what was going on with the Consecro and why so many Quincy had shown up here lately, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to enjoy himself while he was here. Maybe he’d have some steak and some coffee with vodka. He was getting tired of saki, anyway. If he was lucky, he might even pick up a girl while he was around. It’s not like he HAD to be here, so he could procrastinate as long as he wanted to. He eyed a cute red-head as she passed him by with what looked like her boyfriend. Ah well. He’d find something to do.
It wasn’t until he came to the end of the street, where it made a ‘T’ with another road, that he looked at the shop across from him. He mumbled the name to himself. “Romeo’s Seabar: Genuine Fresh Sea Food.” I hate seafood. The thought of just passing it by because of the scent crossed his mind, but then he saw that beside that was a bar. Well, I guess it can’t be helped.
Thurstan started to cross the street, keeping his hands in his jacket pockets, but his shoulders and head held high. He just hoped they served coffee with the alcohol. He’d gone a month without coffee and he didn’t think he'd last much longer.

What Blair is wearingThis would be Blair's fourth time coming into the human world. She had told the Arrancar who usually helped her to open a Gargantua up over Karakura. Although when she found the Arrancar he had been a little sleepy, and the Gargantua opened up in a much different place. One she really wasn't familiar with. There was old looking buildings and a lot of people. Although they didn't really notice her here. She let out a yawn, she supposed it couldn't be helped. It's what she got for wanting to go some where on a whim. She gave the Arrancar a little kiss on the cheek then hoped down. Falling slowly as she landed in an alley way. She was wearing her usual attire, boots, short shorts, a strapless bra, and her hooded coat with the fur around the hood and neck. She pulled her hood up to hide her ears, a smile was on her face as she started to walk along the alley way. Letting her fingers run across the old rocks of the alley way. Getting out of the alley way she something caught in her nose. The smell of seafood.
She started to skip her way over to where the smell was and came to a glass window. In the glass window there was several different fish hanging. A tank with crabs another with lobsters. Fresh clams, muscles, and shrimp Her eyes were so wide and her hands were on the window looking into the shop. Her bottom shaking back and forth as she kept moving across the window. "Ohhhh.. It looks so goood." She said, as she reached into her pockets for money. That's right, she didn't have any money. She turned around from the window and her eyes scanned the people in front of her. She needed to find a guy and seduce him to buy her food. It was what she had did with Tyler. Hrm, and he had gotten her a really good meal with all her favorites to. This place was really fresh, she wouldn't doubt if they caught them today. Finally she felt something similar. It was the same feeling she had gotten from Tyler.
She eyed a man with blond hair with his hands in his jacket pockets. Blair almost made a bee line for him and she stopped right in his path. Her head was down not letting him look at her face then she looked up at him. Wide golden eyes, a cute face, purple hair spilling out of the edges of her hood. "Heya Mister. You feel like someone I know." She said with a grin on her face. As she looked at him. Sticking out her chest a little, her coat wasn't zipped up. She was showing an ample amount of cleavage and well, wasn't leaving much to the imagination due to her revealing clothing.

Thurstan stopped dead in his tracks. He’d only just made it across the street when a practically naked girl leapt out in front of him. She’d sped over from the seafood shop in quite a hurry. He didn’t really know how to react to the nudity that stood before him. It was…erotic but incredibly strange at the same time. He couldn’t see her face because of the hood she had up, but he could see just about everything else. There was plenty of skin and he didn’t mind that at all. He had come here looking for a good time, hadn’t he? Then she peered up at him, and stuck her chest out even more. She had these golden yellow eyes with almost catlike pupils. They were pretty, and so was her purple hair.
This just seemed way too easy though. Thurstan had more trouble than he liked keeping his eyes out of her chest, but he managed to. It really had been too long. He took his hands out of his jacket, reached out and slowly zipped hers up. He couldn’t deal with trying to ignore them anymore, besides, mystery was nicer than having it all hanging out. A little cleavage and skin is good, but he didn’t want to see everything right off the bat. He still couldn’t shake the feeling that there shouldn’t be a mostly-nude girl in the streets of Rome. He tried to discern her reiatsu and there was definitely something there, but he couldn’t distinguish it, and she didn’t seem to be a threat anyway. She’d have to be stupid to attack him here, so close to the Vatican.
As her zipper reached the point between her breasts and neck, the visored let go and spoke. “Hey there, sweaty. What’s your name?” It wasn’t much of an ice breaker, but he was trying to be endearing without coming across as a douche, which is something he tended to worry about when he talked to women. Frankly, he was trying to be careful. He wished he’d just been able to run into a human girl, but she might make things more difficult. She was certainly flirting though, which couldn’t be a bad thing.

She had him, she knew she did. No man or even woman could resist her cute charms! Blair had watched his eyes as they traveled over her body. Even if it was only briefly she knew he did. The man took his hands out of his jacket and slowly zipped hers up. A cheeky grin was on her face as he did so. The zipper finally reached the point between her breasts and neck and she gave him a happy grin and a small laugh. He asked her what her name was and she continued to grin. "The name Blair, cutie." Her right hand came out and pointed to her chest. "What's wrong? Didn't like the free show? Or are we saving those for later?" She asked with another chuckle and laugh. Feeling a tad bold she suddenly went to the right of mans side. As she wrapped her arms around his. "I don't have any money...." She said with another grin.
She shrugged off her hood as she was trying to put on her charms. Two cute kitty ears were revealed from the depths of her hood. They were pretty and purple and had white tips with little purple tuffs on the inside. Giving off a soft meow. "Ah, it feels good to free these ears. They get kinda scratchy underneath that hood." She said as she turned her head towards him with a grin, still having her arm within both his hands. Yes, she was being very straight forward with this guy. Telling him that she wanted food, that she was hungry. Looking up to him still she put on a little pout. "So.. I don't have any money... and... I thought maybe... you could treat me to something to eat?" She said with a pout still on her lips. As her ears slowly folded to her head showing how sad this made her. "I'd gladly keep you company today, if you.. got me something to eat." She said, her frown turning into a small smile as she then finally gave him a toothy grin.

Thurstan almost gawked at her ears. She was definitely not human…or a shinigami. Whatever. It didn’t matter. He was even more amazed at how blunt Blair was. She was showing herself off for food and money. It was like she was a practiced prostitute or seductress at least. He didn’t really like that, but he didn’t have anything to argue about. He thought for a second about his options. He could either go ahead and buy her some food, which he could probably afford. Maybe he even had enough money to take her to the bar afterwards, then they could find a nice place to relax before he had to head to the Vatican.
He had a thought for a moment; a counter-seduction could work. He could just pin her against the wall right here to see what would happen. Who knows, it could work. Maybe then she’d go to the bar with him first, or he’d feel a little less like he was paying for a hooker. That was just it though. He didn’t want to pick up some damn whore off the street, inhuman or otherwise. He wanted to have fun, yeah, but he wasn’t that desperate.
Thurstan reached around and rubbed her head between her ears, remembering that most cats tend to like that. “Look, you don’t have to throw your body out there for money. If you wanted to get something to eat, you could’ve been a little more casual about it. You know: 'Oh hey, you're pretty cute, I'm broke, let's get some food?'” He smiled at her, then raised her hand to his lips and kissed it. “I’ll gladly get you something to eat, just take it easy for me and at least let me introduce myself. My names Thurstan, but you can call me Trace.” He let her hang on to him, thinking it was almost couple like and that she might appreciate that. He wasn’t uncomfortable in the least, actually.

The mans hand reached around and rubbed between her ears. A deep purr came from her throat when he itched a little longer. She heard him speak, saying she didn't have to throw her body out there for money. That if she wanted to get something to eat she could of been a little more casual about it. He gave her a nice smile, as he raised her hand to his lips and gave it a little kiss. The man said he'd gladly get her something to eat, and to just take it easy for her. Then he proceeded to introduce himself as Thurstan, and that she could call him Trace. She looked up to him with a small smile on her face. "Trace? You don't like the way I act? I always act this way." She said with a little pout on her lips. "And I don't want your money Trace. I just want food. And.. maybe pets. I really like pets." She said, her ears twitching again.
As she looked up to him, but soon enough she looked over at the seafood place. Her nose twitched right along with her ears. Lightly licking her lips with a grin on her face. "Can we go there? I only eat seafood." She said, pointing to the place beside the bar. As she cuddled up to the man known as Trace. Getting eager to go to the seafood place, her stomach letting out a growl. "My name is Blair again, if you didn't catch it the first time. I'm an Arrancar!" She exclaimed excitedly. She didn't feel any kind of malicious intent from him. He felt similar to Tyler. It was like he was a Shinigami but he also felt like he was an Arrancar. The feeling of him was odd but at the same time comforting. Although, she didn't really hate Shinigami, Miranda had been a Shinigami, and she had been really nice. They had even spent a wonderful night together once a upon a time.

Thurstan smiled a bit. She was an arrancar, that’s what he couldn’t figure out. Ah well, she clearly wasn’t hostile and probably knew what he was, especially after being so close. The best part was that she was purring, while he scratched her. Actually purring, not like when human girls try to purr, but an actual cat’s purr. It was cute, really. He always ended up with the weird chicks. It didn’t bother him since he was used to it, but thought just happened to pop into his mind
He got a little worried when she asked if he didn’t like the way she acted, but he held his smile and let out a slight laugh. “Hey now, I didn’t say that. I like it quite a bit, actually. But I’d love to give you pets.” He was being honest, yeah, but trying not to sound like a perv. He was rather tired of being misunderstood because he said something silly, yet, he was completely confident in his behavior. He kept his hand on her head and kept scratching it softly when she pointed out the seafood place.
His smile was quickly followed by a frown. Oh crap. Seafood. He hated seafood. It made him sick. Not really, but he didn’t want to find out. He even hated the smell of the stuff, but making a friend could be worth it, even if he never saw her again. Trace sighed inwardly and swallowed his saliva. “Alright. I can do seafood, but only if you come with me to this bar afterward.” He put on a smile again; it was kind, but playful too. He really didn’t want to screw this up. If he was lucky, he thought, he might even make a lasting relationship of some kind out of this. It wasn’t a bad idea.

It was nice to see that the man was happy with her. That he wasn't upset with the way she acted. Blair enjoyed making people happy, and this man was no different. He spoke to her saying he didn't say that, that he liked how she acted, and that he'd love to give her pets. She meowed happily when he said he'd love to give her pets. Blair loved to get pets, if you gave her pets and seafood well, she'd love you forever! The mans hand remained on her head as he kept scratching softly. Softer purrs coming from the depths of her throat emitting out of her. When she had mentioned that she wanted seafood she had watched a frown on appear on his face, her pupils widening as he did. Oh no, she had made him sad or mad. She didn't mean to do that. He said he could do seafood, and he would only if they went to the bar afterwards.
His frown turned into a smile, but she felt it might be a little forced, but she wasn't the best at reading people none the less. Also, she didn't understand what it was with people of this world and that stuff they called alcohol. She'd never really tasted nothing she liked. Blair just wanted milk all the time just plain milk, but she supposed other flavors of milk were okay too. "Ummm.. Trace. We don't have to go to the seafood place if you don't want too..." She said with a little bit of a pout. Her eyes looking over at the bar noticing there was an outside part to it. It was realtively nice out today too, maybe they could eat and drink outside? "If you give me money. I-I can go get the food by myself and meet you at the bar?" She said her pout turning into a smile smile as she spoke some more. "They have chairs and tables beside the bar, see?" She pointed to the area beside the bar, her left arm still entangled with his as her right hand pointed it out.
"So, I can go get the food, and...you can't wait for me outside?!" She asked her ears twitching with excitement at the thought of fresh seafood. "And, um, could I get milk? Do they serve milk at this bar?" She asked very cutely and innocently. Since they were in a new place very far from Karakura she wasn't sure how things operated here. They might be different, or they might be the same. She didn't really know, so she figured she'd ask Trace and hopefully he'd know.

Thurstan was a little confused. It didn’t take him long to come to the conclusion, though, that they both just wanted to make the other one happy even if it made their own life harder. He thought about swallowing his pride and going with her idea, but that didn’t seem chivalrous to him. No, he’d go with his plan and dump the bar altogether; people mattered more than alcohol, arrancar or not. She saw the pout on her face and returned it with a smile of his own.
“Nah, I’d love to take you to the seafood place, I just won’t have anything to eat.” The visored could swear his stomach would’ve punched him if it could have. He didn’t care, he would always put others before himself. He doubted the bar sold milk, though, so he’d have to figure something else out on that regard. He did remember passing a convenience store on his way down here. They probably sold milk. He couldn’t help but laugh when she purred. It really was a cute thing for her to do. Cats had always been his favorite animal. He wondered if she’d ever been outside of Hueco Mundo before. He momentarily drifted off into a brief train of thought revolving around what the land of the hollows was like, since he’d never been there before. He shook the thought away and placed his focus back on the arrancar.
He looked down at her and peered into those big golden eyes. He couldn’t help but looking at her ears too. “I don’t think they serve milk here, but don’t frown. I think I know where they do. What we do depends on if you want the milk before or after we eat.” He smiled again, “Then we can go anywhere you want to for the day.” Thurstan held her a bit tighter and scratched behind her ears some more. Some girl passed by him, and as she walked away he couldn’t help but hear the word “freak” escape her lips. Damned gigai. Why do I always wear this thing?

Blair's ears twitched at his words as he told her he'd love to take her to the seafood place but he wasn't going to eat anything. Well, that seemed like a bummer, why should she get to eat if he wasn't going to get to eat? It didn't make a whole lot of sense to her as the silence was suddenly caught between the two as she hugged onto his arm once again. Then Trace looked down to her and she looked up at him. Her golden eyes looking back into his as he said he didn't think they served milk here and not to frown. That he knew a place where they did serve milk and it all depended if she wanted milk before or after they ate. Then they could go anywhere she wanted to for the day. Blair thought that sounded great but she felt like he was leaving his fun out for her own. Her ears suddenly twitched at the word freak as she looked behind her. The purr stopping in her throat even though he was still scratching between her ears. Letting go of his arm she suddenly disappeared.
Appearing close to the woman she held out her leg. Letting the women trip over it. Then as she fell down gave her a small kick to the stomach. Leaning down she spoke in the girls ear, "Don't call people freaks." Then just as soon as she was there she was gone back at Trace's side with a smile on her face, some people scrambling to help the girl up. Hey, we don't have to go to the seafood place. Let's go to a place where we can both eat! I want you to eat with me. Cause they always say, food tastes better when you eat it with a friend!" she turned her head and grinned up at him. As she was hanging off his arm again. Blair wasn't really sure why that girl had called him a freak, it hadn't passed through her mind that people really couldn't see her.
"So yeah, lets go to a place we can both enjoy. Because.. Blair likes to make people happy not sad. Blair's made three other people happy this month. A Quincy named Shima, someone like you named Tyler and a Shinigami named Miranda! They were all sad, and I made them happy." she grinned up at Trace, waiting to see his reaction about her making people happy. Blair always felt like it was her job to make people happy. When ever she found a sad person she did her best to make them happy regardless of gender or alliance. Since Blair loved every faction unless they tried to hurt her first. Always friendly, always carefree and she didn't mind if people touched her boobs either.

Thurstan was still smiling at Blair when she suddenly stopped purring and her ears twitched slightly. His smile faded when she vanished. It wasn’t hard for him to trace her movements, and she made a beeline to the lady that had passed them. Blair proceeded to trip the woman and and kick her in the gut. It wasn’t a hard kick, which meant it must’ve felt like a poke to Blair, but still it probably felt to the lady like she was a soccer ball in the middle of a game.
Thurstan just watched. He didn’t want to get involved, or initiate an unintentional fight here of all places, but instead he’d go ahead and let it happen then explain to Blair that the humans could neither see her or hear her, so her actions and words didn’t matter to them. He expected that the lady would just blow it off as some sort of fluke. Maybe she tripped over her own feet and the rattling around gave her a stomach ache.
Still, Thurstan couldn’t help but let out a sigh as Blair returned to him. There wasn’t much he could’ve done about the girl, so he just let it slide. The expression on his face was stern, nonetheless. He listened to what she had to say to him; clearly she hadn’t seen his face yet, but as she spoke, his demeanor relaxed. She talked about making people happy and how much she liked it: a shinigami, another visored, and a quincy. She was a strange one indeed. A soft smile set itself upon his face and that’s what she saw when her gorgeous eyes looked back up at him.
“I’m glad you like to make people happy, Blair. You’re really sweet and you’re doing a great job.” He reached down linked his arm with hers, “Just try to remember that humans can’t see or hear you, so you shouldn’t hurt them.” His eyes went stern but he held his smile as the statement slipped from his lips. He hoped he didn’t make Blair sad, but he had to say something, despite being called a freak. His eyes shut and his smile got bigger. He even let out a calm laugh “But hey, don’t worry about it. Why don’t we find somewhere to eat that serves steak and seafood. Who knows, they might even serve milk too.”
He opened his eyes again, relaxing his smile. She was still looking up at him, but he didn’t mind it. He reached down with his other hand and scratched her chin. “You’re doing a great job of making me happy.”

Blair didn't notice the disappoint that was coming from Trace. She was too busy trying to make him happy to notice. A soft smile and lit up his face when she had mentioned how she liked to make people happy. It was good to see that he approved of her endeavors even if two of them did end in a bed. He said he was glad that she was making people happy and that she was sweet. Trace even told her she was doing a good job! It made her ears wiggle in delight to receive such praise. Almost reminding her of her old Master who used to praise her all the time and shower her with pets, gifts and food. His arm linked with hers as she was still looking up at him. Then he proceeded to tell her that humans couldn't see or hear her, so she shouldn't hurt them. For the most part she ignored his words, the only sign that she heard them was her left ear giving a little twitch. But it was a good reminder none-the-less because she had forgotten.
His eyes were a little stern but hers were still filled with happiness and a certain kind of glee that only came from a person as careless and happy as she was. Blair couldn't ever really think of a time she was truly depressed. Only times where she wasn't as happy as she always was. Trace told her not to worry about it, that they'd find somewhere to eat that serves steak and seafood. When he talked about Steak it briefly reminded her of Enzo. They had shared a brief dinner together but nothing had come of it to her slight disappointment. Trace's other and came down and scratched her underneath the chin as she let out a light purr of satisfaction. The words spilling from his lips more praise, and she was glad to hear she was making him happy.
"I am really glad I am making you happy. Cause if your happy, than I am happy too." She said, with a big grin placed along her lips. As Trace began to walk and so did she as they were off to a place to find something to eat. Her nose sniffing at the air, smelling a place maybe a block from where they were standing that was exactly as Trace wanted. A place that served multiple kinds of food. If they were lucky maybe it was a place that served spiritual folks to, she had heard of places from her Master where alive folk and spiritual folk alike were welcome as long as they had money to pay for their meal. If not, maybe they could get a kind of private booth where him and her could eat without the prying eyes of others watching. Oh well! They would work something out. "Mhm.. can you smell that? Seafood? And that stuff that you like. Steak." The only kind of meat that Blair liked was seafood meat. Any other meat she had tried but just couldn't stomach it for what ever reason, she was definitely a cat in the purest of senses.
(OOC: If you want, you can move it along. Get us in the restaurant, get us seated, etc. Just so we can keep the thread moving and not us just walking for another two posts!)

Thurstan slowed sown his pace and linked his arm with Blair’s, trying his best to prolong the pleasant situation. He had absolutely no idea where they were going but he held his eyes open and searched for any other restaurants. He just wanted some steak and coffee. That’s all, well, besides the arrancar. He kept her close to him, enjoying her warmth. She mentioned smelling something so he was happy to know that he was at least headed in the right direction.
He conveyed the emotion to her by releasing a comfortable amount of reiatsu. It was something he did when he wanted to convey certain emotions with other spiritual beings without actually speaking or even having to look at them. The reiatsu that he released was warm and comforting. It was also excited, conveying a sense of joy. He could feel that she’d felt it as she squeezed him tighter while they walked.
The walk itself was, for the most part, silent save the little silent communication through body language and spiritual release. A few times he reached over and scratched her chin, which she replied to with a deep purr of her own. The interactions were subtle, but they got the point across. A slight attraction had developed, whether sexual or otherwise, neither of them really cared. They were having fun and were both about to have something nice to eat.
When they finally arrived at the restaurant, Thurstan stopped and read the sign aloud, “World Cuisine…Is this the place, Blair?” He was almost positive that it was. The aroma was intoxicating and even made his nose perk up. He could swear that he felt Blair start to jump up and down because among all the different delicious smells, there was a distinct scent of smoked salmon wafting into their nostrils.

Trace had slowed down his pace, his arm linked with hers as they walked in silence for a little while. Her ears twitching occasionally as she picked up a sound of this or that. Unusually he was releasing his reiastu in such a way she really hadn't experienced before. It was comfortable, almost calming. One could even say it was warm perhaps even comforting. She squeezed him a little tighter as they walked, wanting to feel the warmth closer to her body. During their walk he scratched underneath her the chin a few more times, and she let him know she enjoyed it by letting out a reassuring purr. Finally they arrived at the restaurant that the smell was coming from. It was called World Cuisine and Trace asked her if this was the place the smell was coming from. Her nose sniffed the air again as she could smell several different kinds of food, giving a little bounce of excitement.
Her breasts jiggling a little after she had already stopped. "Yessss.. This is the place." She said as she walked into the place. Trace said he wanted a table for them and they went. Surprisingly enough it seemed this place was spirit friendly. Sitting down at a table they were both given a menu and asked what they wanted to drink. Blair promptly asked for milk and Trace asked for the drink he wanted. Then the waitress went off to get their drinks. Blair opened her menu turning right to the seafood section and looking at their wide selection. Her pupils dilated at the sight as she sniffed again. Her ears wiggling in delight. Beneath the table she was playing footsy with Trace. "Can i get anything I want?" She asked with a slight grin, as their drinks were sit down then the waitress left promptly to wait on their order.

As they’d entered the restaurant, Trace couldn’t help but wonder at the beautiful decorum. The furnishings were all red with highlights of yellow. Curtains hung from the ceilings and line the private booths on the second floor. The tables surrounded a small stage where they likely had singers and musicians entertain the guests. Today, however, it seemed that an art gallery was on display. He’d love to look at those, before they left the restaurant. He approached the front podium where a man in a tight suit stood, waiting for the next customer.
“Table for one, please? A private booth would be nice.” Thurstan requested. The man raised an eyebrow, looked at him, then seemed to look at Blair.
“Are you sure that you don’t want a table for two, sir?” He replied in a heavy Italian accent. Thurstan was taken aback for a moment, not really sure how to react. His first instinct was to ask if the man could see Blair, but that was obvious. He refrained and instead simply complied.
“Yes, table for two. Thank you.”
“Right this way, sir.”
Thurstan followed the man up the stairs, Blair still clinging to the visored’s arm. They came to a stop at the third booth.
“Here is your place, sir, and a menu. A waiter will be here for you shortly.”
Trace smiled at the man, who, after giving each of his customers a menu, promptly pivoted on his heel and walked back down the hall towards the stairway. Trace looked at Blair, who’d almost immediately detached herself and hopped into her seat. He took his own across from her, only to have their waitress arrive almost instantly.
“Salve, Signore e Signora, what would you like to drink?” She was bustling with her own Italian accent. She could see Blair as well, apparently. Thurstan couldn’t help but consider it odd, and ignore it all the same.
Blair bursted out just as Thurstan’s lips had spread, “Milk!” The waitress laughed with a huge grin that would have made even the loneliest child jump for joy. As she wrote down the order, Thurstan made his own request.
“I’d like some Coffee, if you will, and perhaps some Vodka?”
The woman smiled. “Certamente, Signore. I will return in just a moment.” As the woman turned away, Blair’s eyes widened and she started to play footsy beneath the table. Ears wiggling she looked at Trace and asked,
“Can I get anything I want?”
