Naomi was decked out in her new usual outfit. No matter the day she always wore long sleeves. The only reason being was so she could hide her Quincy glove. Her gloves, which used to be finger less were now fingered. The Quincy glove being thin enough that it was hidden easily underneath the log sleeved red t-shirt. A black pair of pants, her usual shoes, a tied ribbon around her neck and her eye patch along with her glasses. She had spent all morning working out, and she decided that for lunch she deserved some take out instead of cooking for herself which she usually did. Heading out she slipped a few things into her pockets, cigarettes, lighter, small can of pepper spray, and a few little explosives that were easily hidden in pockets on the edge of her sleeved t-shirt.
Today she decided that she wanted pizza, and the pizza she wanted was from a little Pizza House in Karakura, that had been around for quite a few decades. It was one of the best pizza places in Karakura. Walking there she took a short cut and was to the pizza place in no time. Ordering a party sized seventeen inch pizza, with peperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, and peppers. She sat herself down with her drink in hand as she waited for her order. Just another day keeping up appearances. Most of the people in Karakura knew who she was but not what she was. The Genkaku name was plastered on plaques all around Karakura, since her family had invested countless amounts of money into the city. Naomi's name had been in the paper for continued contributions to the city and her diligent work it various community service projects.
All she wanted to do today was eat some pizza in piece, but she only knew it was a matter of time before someone recognized her. It wasn't hard to distinguish her from other folks. Eye-patch, shoulder length blonde hair, scars, easily distinguishable. |

[atrb=align, center] | [atrb=Valign, top] Being out of school was great. Katsuo didn't have to worry about homework or anything... not that he had ever done it to begin with. But still, it was good not to have to think about what would happen when his grades were discovered. On the downside, it also meant that Katsuo had barely anything to do other than carry out the odd order from Consecro. Not to mention, his decision to drop out wasn't exactly a favourable one; his father drove him nuts if he didn't stay out of the house most of the day.
On this particular occasion, he had no orders or anything, so he was just walking around town with his hands in his pockets. After a while, he smelled something familiar. Pizza! Pizza was one of his favourite things, and he barely ever got to have it. Given his location, he could already guess where the smell was coming from; a pizza place not too far off. He had money, too. Why didn't I think of this before?
When he got to the pizza place, he noticed something before he went up to the counter to order. There was a woman there who looked familiar somehow. Yet, he couldn't remember where he had seen her before. Maybe it was just because she stood out so much. But even with the eye patch and everything, she was still pretty cute.
He walked up to her, kind of nervous. What if he actually didn't know her and only ended up looking like an idiot? Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time. "Excuse me... do I know you from somewhere?" he asked. He wasn't trying to pick up, it was just an honest question.

Sitting there waiting for her pizza she started to day dream as she stared blankly at the wall. Thinking about all the training she needed to do, how far she had come, and the things she had to do to further the Quincy along. There was a lot, and Takeshima was a nice guy, it was good there was more than one Quincy left in the town to help her further her goals. Naomi snapped out of her day dream as the smell of her pizza wafted under her nose, grabbing her pop as she took a sip. A waitress called out her order, she moved her pop aside as the waitress brought out the seventeen inch pizza, laying it on the table with a few paper plates and a couple of forks, just encase she had company. The pizza was perfect, and it smelled wonderful, the cheese was nice and stringy but firm. It was perfectly greasy, it look and smelled how a pizza should and the crust wasn't that hard at all. With the pizza was a tall styrofoam cup, filled with a yellow sauce that was a dipping sauce for the pizza.
As she was pouring the sauce onto her plate a man came up, asking if he knew her from some where. She smiled at him and spoke. "You might, I'm in the papers a lot. The name is Naomi Genkaku. Sit? Have some pizza with me." She said, a small smile on her face acting sincere as possible. As she grabbed a few slices of pizza with a spatula and flopped it on her plate. Giving him a paper plate also as she flopped a few pieces of pizza on his plate. Taking a bite of the pizza she chewed it then swallowed it soon after before speaking. "My family has invested a lot of money into Karakura, and I do a lot of charity work. A lot of people know me actually." She said, laying eyes on the man trying to see if she had seen him from anywhere, but couldn't recall him ever attending any of the events that she held.
She was usually good with remembering faces, because people always expected you to remember them, but it seemed this man wasn't someone she knew, but it was funny he knew her. In this little pizza shop that was empty as could be, someone would stumble across her and ask her who she was. |

[atrb=align, center] | [atrb=Valign, top] Katsuo hadn't been expecting such a friendly response from the woman, honestly. "O-okay." he said, pulling out a chair and sitting down. He had a bit of a dumbstruck look, not expecting her to share her pizza with him. But then again, why would she order a whole pizza to herself? It was almost like she had been expecting someone to join her. But if he had been interrupting something like that, wouldn't she have wanted him to go away? It was weird. Still, he got free pizza out of it, so whatever.
"I see. I must have saw your picture somewhere then. Haha.." he replied, deciding that it was the only plausible situation since he still couldn't remember talking to her before. So now he did kind of look like an idiot. He could feel his face starting to get hot. He had always been pretty awkward when it came to talking to girls.
"Sorry... this must be annoying?" it was probably hard to tell whether that was a question or not, but he was a little nervous. Gathering from what she had said, she must have gotten this a lot. He wasn't going to touch the pizza until he was sure that the woman wasn't annoyed with him.

She looked up at him as she was eating her pizza with a fork. Cutting the slice with the side of the fork as she grabbed the piece and dipped it in the yellow dipping sauce for the pizza. Eating it while he was talking as he mentioned he must of seen a picture of her somewhere, and she nodded since she had a bite in her mouth at the moment. "More than likely you did, its plastered all over the place." She said with her mouth was finally empty and she put another piece in. Looking overall enthused because the man was not hitting on her, yet. The only time she really hated men was when they just came up and started hitting on her, when they were like this, it was almost cute even though she didn't care for them so much. As another bite entered her mouth he asked another question. He said sorry and said he must of been annoying, she reached her hand up and shook it from side to side as she quickly swallowed down the bite. "No-no-no, really its not. Why do you think I got such a big pizza for?"
She said, smiling at him gently. As her eyes noticed his pointed ears and his prominent canine teeth. Thinking now that he looked rather interesting, and now that she was paying more attention that he wasn't as human as he appeared, although that didn't really matter. There were several factions in Karakura all fighting for power one way or another. "People bother me all the time.......Oh, I haven't gotten your name yet, my apologies. I think I said mine already didn't I? It's Naomi Genkaku if I forgot." She said, as she made a fist and gave herself a little bop on the top of the head. Acting a little ditsy on purpose but it was something she did when she interacted with people in her day-to-day life. Clumsy, fragile, ditsy, and even a bit flirty with most. She kind-of liked to come off as the stupid blond, it seemed a lot of people liked it, and even if she didn't like men it was still fun to get them going sometimes only to shatter their dreams with the way she swung. |

Briefly, he had to wonder what it was like to receive so much attention. He would probably lose it if random people approached him all the time. How could she act so nice about it? Then again, she did say she does charity work... So she must just be a good person. Still though, something seemed different about her, he just couldn't put his finger on it.
"Oh, you were expecting someone to come?" he asked, surprised. Now that must be really annoying. She was so used to people bothering her that she actually prepared for it. It was like she was famous, or something. And now, Katsuo really felt like a douche.
"Sorry." he apologized again. It was just like the time he had met Aisha; constantly apologizing and forgetting to introduce himself. He was hopeless. "I'm Katsuo Kagayaki." he said, keeping it short and sweet. Then he picked up a slice of the pizza and took a bite, making every effort not to stare at Naomi. He still felt something off about her. If it was what he expected, then the fact that he had spiritual power would probably be discovered, too. But he never really went out of his way to conceal that fact.

"I am always expecting someone to come..." She repeated right after he said it as she continued to eat. He said sorry and she waved her hand back and forth again, waving off the apology because in all honesty it was not needed. Finally he said his name, Katsuo Kagayaki. She gave him a small grin as she chewed up this piece of pizza and took a sip of her carbonated drink before she spoke. "Is it okay if I call you Katsuo? You may call me Naomi if you like." With a grin on her face she said this, as she waved her hand at the people at the counter. "Can we get a drink for my acquaintance here?" She said, as she waited for the waitress to take the mans order as she chomped away at the pizza, slowly consuming it piece by piece.
The waitress brought back his drink and tossed a straw on the table also. Naomi continued to eat as she reached for her glass. Although she didn't have a firm grasp on it, and ended up knocking it over. As the contents of the glass and ice spilled everywhere, she quickly grabbed the pizza pan and slid it onto a table beside them, she avoiding the spillage of drink all over herself as she moved out of the booth hoping she didn't get him wet. "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I am so clumsy!" She exclaimed as a waitress jogged out and started to clean up the mess, as she made a sorry face at him as she apologized to the waitress several times before they sat back down, the waitress refilling her drink as she was extra careful with it now. "So, what made you wanna come here today? Big pizza eater?" She said, trying to make small talk with him.

People usually thought he was strange, plus, he didn't have the best reputation thanks to his school history and near-constant fighting. Someone like Naomi wouldn't be likely to know about that, though.
"Thanks." he said when the waiter brought his drink. He made a mental note to pay for part of the order later. He had come in here expecting to pay for his own stuff. It didn't feel right to have a girl --one he barely even knew, at that-- paying for his stuff.
He was about to take a drink, when Naomi spilled her own drink. He quickly got up and moved his plate off the table to avoid the mess. "No big deal!" he said, keeping himself from smirking about it in case he offended her. When he sat back down, he took his slice of pizza back up. "Yeah, I guess you could say that." he responded, taking another bite.

| [atrb=border,0,true] YOU RESTLESS WALL OF FLAME | Today was just another simple day, same routine; wake up and eat, look for hollow to use as punching bags and eat more. Things were starting to get boring, even with the never ending slew of attacks from hollow, though he wished he would run into something stronger; he needed the practice. He hadn't even ran into the damn Pervert yet today, or yesterday for that matter. In fact it'd been awhile since he'd seen Gray around anywhere, maybe he just stayed away from Karakura for some reason. He didn't care enough to give it too much thought, but Natsu liked to think it was because Gray was afraid of getting his ass kicked by him.
He had just finished laying waste to a large group of fairly strong hollow when he caught scent of something that made his mouth drool; pizza! The strong smell made his stomach growl, he didn't even realize how close he had come to town till he smelled the heavenly fragrance. With as much speed as he could manage he ran towards the pizza shop, it was fairly close, he could tell by the strength of the scent.
With saliva practically oozing down his chin he strode into the pizzeria and grinned as he checked to make sure he had his wallet...Crap! He must have forgotten it when he left this morning! He growled to himself and turned around disappointed, however just before he actually left the building he caught sight of someone who looked very familiar. Granted he only saw the back of his head but there was no mistake; it had to be Gray.
Just then he grinned evilly and ran up behind him and without any warning or any mind to the company Katsuo had at the table, Natsu launched himself at the other male and slid a hand into one of the pockets of "Gray's" pants. He would take this man's wallet and make him pay for his lunch. It'd kill two birds with one stone; he'd get to piss off who he thought was Gray AND he'd get a meal out of it. It was perfect.

It seemed that their conversation was getting no where, she knew how to talk to people when it came to charities and events considering the fact they were working when they were doing these things, but when it came to stuff like this. Well, she just felt kind of awkward, she had to be a certain way, she couldn't reveal to much of herself, it would be hazardous to her health of people found out she was a Quincy. Eating her pizza quietly and him also eating his pizza quietly they sat in silence for a minute or two until another boy walked in. This one had red hair, the exact opposite of Katsuo's, the guy had went to the counter then realized he was out of money. She watched his eyes travel to Katsuo's head, as he suddenly ran up to Katsuo, as he launched himself at him, reaching his hand into one of Katsuo's pockets.
The guy proceeded to call Katsuo a pervert, and said he decided to wear pants today, she knew Katsuo a little bit and doubted he would do those things, so without even thinking she slipped her hand into the back of her shirt as she slipped out the little bottle of bear mace, as she got it into her hand she put her thumb on the top of it, "Katsuo! Close your eyes!" she said as she leaned over the table and started to spray the mace at the eyes and face of Natsu. "Get out of here you punk! That's Katsuo's wallet and money!" She exclaimed, as she held her finger firmly on top of the mace, as she hoped that Katsuo had took her heed and closed his eyes, or it would be likely both of them would get it in their eyes. |

[atrb=align, center] | [atrb=Valign, top] The awkward silence between Katsuo and Naomi was interrupted promptly. Katsuo jumped a little when he felt someone putting their hand in one of his pockets. "What the fuck!" he swore and got up quickly, turning towards the pink-haired guy. He had no idea who he was, but the guy sure seemed to know him. And what was this about pants? Who didn't wear pants when they were out in public? To top it off, that bastard had taken his wallet! Seemingly forgetting about Naomi in his shock ad outrage, Katsuo was about to snap something at Natsu and try to get his wallet back when he heard Naomi's warning. Not knowing what she was about to do, he shut his eyes. He could hear something being sprayed and smelled a peppery scent. Things sure had escalated quickly. Katsuo was pretty sure that it was pepper spray.
When he was sure that he could open his eyes without getting affected by the mace, he did so, and glared at the pink-haired guy. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" he growled, cracking his knuckles. His shy and awkward demeanour was gone now; he was most likely about to lapse back into his pattern of getting into fights. Yeah, he definitely didn't know this guy, and he didn't want to. But he wasn't going to let him get away with taking his wallet and interrupting his day.

Natsu only had a brief moment to catch a glimps of Katsuo's face, eyes wide in surprise when he saw it wasn't Gray. Damn, and the dude even sounded like him too...It wasn't long till he heard the woman bark an order to the dude Natsu had just attempted to pick pocket, something about close your eyes? He didn't have to wait long to find out what she meant as he was hit with the mace seconds later. He let out a loud yell as the pepper spray burned his eyes.
He stumbled backwards and fell down on his ass, rubbing his eyes to try and relieve the stinging feeling of the mace."Ow god! Ugh...Look this was a mistake, I thought you were someone else...Geez..Did you have to spray my damn eyes!?" Whining basically, even though rubbing his eyes did little to relieve the sting, he continued to do it. Eventually he forced himself to stop rubbing his eyes and instead just held his hands over his eyes as he rode out the burn.

She emptied the pepper spray out onto his face and stopped spraying after a few short seconds. Katsuo seemed to be unaffected and the other boy let out a loud yell as it went into his eyes. Stumbling down on his ass as he rubbed his eyes, trying to take out the feeling of the mace. He said this was all one big mistake and thought it was someone else. Asking why she had to spray him in his eyes. She was already standing up, now she scooted fully out of her seat as she still had the rest of the pepper spray in her hand as she approached the boy. Standing a few feet from him as she aimed the pepper spray at him. "A mistake?! You come in here, mistake him for someone else, take his wallet and expect not to get pepper spray in your eyes?! For all we knew, you were gonna rob us than the place!" She exclaimed very loudly, although there was no one else in the restaurant. Looking over at Katsuo then back down to the boy. She went over and found a basket full of wet wipes.
Grabbing a hand full she tossed them down at Natsu. "My apologies for pepper spraying you. But there wasn't much else I could do." She said, as she slipped the bottle back into her pocket. As she looked over at Katsuo now. "You ever seen him before? Katsuo?" She asked, as she slid the glasses that had sagged down back up on her nose. A moment ago, before she thought of the pepper spray she was almost tempted to shoot an arrow into him. Lucky, she remembered the act she was putting up. Acting like the defenseless girl that she was, and managed to pull out her pepper spray rather than a bow to his face and a dozen arrows or more riddling his body. She took a deep breathe now, calming down from the little adrenaline rush she had got from pepper spraying him.
