Rin decided that today she would go try meeting another Captain. Although she hadn't been hugely successful in this endeavor so far, especially because she felt she made a recent enemy with misspoken words towards Captain Kurosawa of the thirteenth division. Although it couldn't be helped, the words were already shared between the two and there was no going back. Although, almost out of habit now she felt like she had to look behind herself, that murderous intent in his eyes had been clear enough, and unfortunately enough she had made an enemy when she was only seeking friends.
Oh well, what was done, was done, and now she would try to make friends with the Captain of the third division.
She came out of her own office, and made quick work to get to the third division Captain's quarters. Using flash steps to get herself even there quicker, in a matter of minutes she was at the division head quarters and walked in, being directed towards the door of the Captain's office. Rin gently knocked against the door, as she used her right hand to hold her left hands wrist as she stood there patiently. The most she knew was his name was Kaede Soshi, and he was Captain of the third division. She definitely knew what he looked like, that was for sure. So now it was only a matter of time before she came face to face with this Captain, and find out if she would be making friends with him or another foe.

Things in life are never as they first seem: And the worst things never are. That was the one truth KAede knew for certain... Well that and the fact that gnomes just LOVED to steal his cloths. He could hardly belive it, having just got dressed just a few hours before he was already short his coat and shirt, and it seemed like his pants where in the process of vanishing even as he worked on the sea of papers in front of him. Not that he noticed of course, that was part of what he dubbed his curse, and he lived with it on a day to day basis. Now, that of course didn't mean he couldn't rage over the fact he often found him self pants less at the oddest and worst times, in fact by accepting this curse he allowed him self to feel more rage then any wholly normal person would.
So there he sat, his coat and shirt missing, his pants nearly gone as well, when he heard a soft knock at his door. He glanced around his cluttered office, at the papers that where strewn about his floor and desk, to the pictures and paintings hanging esque from the various walls... No he was in no way ready to host any sort of guest. But it seemed he really didn't have a choice... "Hold on! One second!" The impressively sized man stands up, his pants falling to the ground as he does so. With quick hands and quicker feet he moves about the room, righting what little he can on his way to the door, and then suddenly comes to a stop, takes a DEEP breath and opens it.
"Hello?" He looks out then down at the smaller woman, not knowing that hes standing in front of her mostly naked with just a thin strip of fabric keeping any sort of modesty. The pale scars stand out against his normally dark skin as a small smile cross his face. "Pleasetell me youre my new lieutenant! Ive been all but begging for one since i got promoted!"

She heard the Captain through the door, as he told her to wait. Rin could hear him adjusting his room as she patiently waited, now with her head down as a few abstract thoughts passed through her head. Then suddenly the door swings open and she hears, 'Hello?' as she looks up, and she had to look way up. More or less seeing his crotch first, which was covered with some type of cloth, all the way up his abs, across his perfectly chiseled chest, finally meeting his face. As he exclaimed that he hoped this was his new Lieutenant since he had been wanting one since he got promoted. Although, this man could not see it, her eyes had been wide in the entire process, and something he could see was a little trickle of blood come from her nose, or at least where her nose could be. Not leaving his eyes, she quickly pulled out a handkerchief and brought it up to her nose. "Oh...my...god..." She had never seen that much man in real life, and at this moment in time she was purely speechless.
She stood there in her Captain's robes, her robes covering her from neck to toe, not showing an ounce of skin, the only thing that was exposed was her pale petite neck, and her hands, one hand still up to her nose to prevent her from bleeding on her Captain's robes. If only the Captain could see the expression on her face, which was turning more red at the moment, and perhaps even the blood was flowing further. "Ca-Ca...Ca.....Ca" She stuttered out, still making eye contact, not daring to look him over again. "Captain.... Kaede... Soshi... wheres... wheres your clothes?" She slowly trickled out. What was obvious about her was the Kido Corps insignia that was on her arm, so although she had yet to introduce herself, hopefully he could recognize this, paired with the Shinigami Captain robes and piece together who she was. Since at the current moment she was at a loss for words at the behemoth of a man before her who was practically naked. "I only thought men like him existed in books." She thought as her neck remained fixated on his face.

Two things became apparent when he opened his office door, the first of which was only some what important and that was this person was in fact not his lieutenant, she was a captain. Now that would normally be important but it paled in comparison to the fact that she lacked a head. A head of all things. Did that mean she was some sort of... Monster? A long while back he had heard of something called a Dullahan... A fairy or ghost that did the same job he did essentially... But they where just myths right? Well it seemed a myth was standing right in front of him... Now that was odd enough, but when the empty space where her head should have been... The air... Was bleeding... In all honesty the newly made captain had no idea how to react. So he just stood there, stunned and unable to hear exactly what she was saying.
"Ca-Ca...Ca.....Ca" She stuttered out, still making eye contact, not daring to look him over again. "Captain.... Kaede... Soshi... wheres... wheres your clothes?"
"Wha-what?" Kaede just looked at where he head should of been and stammered, his eyes trying to find what by all rights should have been there. "Forget about my clothes! Wheres your head!?!? Come on ill help you look!" She couldn't have lost it that long ago considering she was still alive... And talking... Talikng... What? Now that didn't make much sense... How could a person with out a head talk? Things just where not adding up, not at all!

"Where's my head?! I have a head! Wheres your clothes?!" She exclaimed once again as she turned around in the spot, no longer wanting to look at him in all his indecency. Wiping away the last little drops of blood as she inhaled deeply. "Where.. where was his clothes? I have never seen a man in such an indecent way." She thought to herself, as she could remember every muscle and bulge of his body, and let out a very human shiver... It was too late, the damage had been done, her photographic memory would never forget the man in all his glory. Rin, spoke to the Captain, her back to him. "I have a head Captain Soshi. It's just invisible. If you don't believe me you are more than welcome to put a hand on my head and feel it! Just please! Put some clothes on!" She exclaimed again, really trying to get the point across that he needed clothes.
This, this Captain, he was truly massive. He had to be almost seven feet, and maybe, 235 pounds? But he must of been built of solid muscle from the looks of it, just to hold that massive frame up alone! Why, why didn't he have any clothes on? What kind of Captain comes to greet guests in nothing but their skimpy's! And even that was a long shot to call what he was wearing underwear, it was more of a loin cloth, like something that Tarzan would wear. Her back was still to the Captain, and she dared not turn around until one, he got some clothes on, and two, he confirmed that she did indeed have a head and it was just invisible. Of course, when she finally did feel his hand on her head, she had no doubt her small head could probably fit in his entire hand. How... how did any human even get that big? By book standards he was definitely some kind of giant, she just couldn't get over how unreal this man was, even if she did have an invisible head, and they lived in the type of world they did.

"Where's my head?! I have a head! Wheres your clothes?! Well that was an obvious lie! "Like i said forget about my clothes, because if you looked in a mirror right now you would clearly see you dont have a head!!" Honestly how could she not realise that she was in fact missing what was widely considered the most important part of the body? In fact... How was she speaking, let alone living with out it? Some sort of odd kido maybe... That was the only explanation that he could think of... Unless she happened to be some sort of demon from hell! Though on second thought that was unlikely... About as unlikely as someone walking around headless.
A shiver ran down her body as he watched her turn around and Kaede couldn't help but wonder what that was about, he after all was the one that should be shivering being as he was, faced with the newest incarnation of the headless horsemen. But no... He didn't shiver, he just watched and reacted the the woman in front of him and noted all the curves that where shown with that slight shake of her body... Now if she only had a face to match! "I have a head Captain Soshi. It's just invisible. If you don't believe me you are more than welcome to put a hand on my head and feel it! Just please! Put some clothes on!" Well... He didn'y have anything to loose! He reached out his hand, almost hesitantly and felt for her hair... And was surprised when he felt it. "Well... I guess you do have a head after all..."
He pondered that for a few seconds as he gently stroked her hair and let her words finally sink in... And thats when he felt the breeze. A breeze that he felt on the skin of his bare legs and chest... "Where... My... Where did my clothes go!?!" He blushes almost crimson as he turns and slams his door, hiding his nakedness from the woman on the other side. Luckily for him he found his clothes rather fast, scattered as they where about his office. "I don't... Why does... UGG!" The sound of his exasperated voice, the bells in his hair, and rampage around his office could easily be heard on the other side of the door, before it was rather suddenly thrown open and standing before Rin was a rather disheveled looking man in a captains robe.
"I.. Umm... About me being... Well naked..." He doesn't exactly stutter, but there is some apprehension in the large mans voice. "It... Was... Ummm... Ya sorry about that!" He finishes quickly before offering out his hand and a rather large and friendly grin. "But thats besides the point, My names Kaede... And im sorry to say you have me at something of a loss because while you know my name and position i don't know yours! And im sure you would rather me not call you 'The Headless Captain' though that does have something of a ring to it, no?" He laughs slightly, all the awkwardness he had shown but a few moments before seeming to have been forgotten.

It was good that her words had finally gotten through the dense headed Captain. At least, it seemed he had a dense head. His words of exclamation that she didn't have a head. Finally, the Captain took up her suggestion and placed his large hand on top of her head. Feeling her head and hair, she had a hard time not letting out a purr, because people playing with her hair was one of her weaknesses. Then the Captain Soshi, finally admitted that she had a head and she let out a sigh. Then, as the fact that he had no clothes on, finally sunk in after the fact she had no 'head', the door slammed behind her. As a breeze whipped her Captain's robe. Finally, she turned around confident that the almost nude Captain would not be standing there, as she patiently faced the door waiting for him to return. Hearing sounds from the other side as if someone was searching for something in the other room, more than likely his lack of clothes.
Finally the door was thrown open, as she instantly looked up at him, to her luck, he was finally clothed, so she wasn't risking bleeding from her nose again. He stammered out something about him being naked, and she twiddled her thumbs, not sure what to say. He apologized for his lack of clothes and she quickly stammered out. "Uh..er..no...no problem.." Then he put on a large grin, as he offered his hand. Introducing himself as he said he was at a loss of her position, and offered to call her, "The Headless Captain". Slowly, she took her petite hand in his and gave it a brief shake before retreating it back to her body. Her left hand pointed up to the emblem on her right shoulder, showing it to him before he spoke. "My name is Rin Minatsuki of the Kido Corps. I came here to meet your acquaintance... and.. got a lot more than I thought I'd get." She said, stating out the blatantly obvious after she had practically seen the man before her nude. Rin had to look up to the massive man, considering he was almost a foot and a half taller than her. "I've taken the liberty to memorize every single persons name in the Gotei 13... And my current goal currently is to meet all the Captains and Lieutenants, and I'm gonna try to meet every member, but that might be a little more of a long shot." She stated, her voice gaining confidence every second now that the man in front of her was clothed, even though the unclothed version of the man was still fresh in her mind.
The incident, as far as she was concerned was going to be one of those that would exist between her and him and never be talked about again. It was truly embarrassing, not only for him, but for her. If she did ever tell anyone, it would more than likely be Rukia, since it seemed that was one of the people she could truly call a friend so far in the Gotei. "So.. may I come in Captain Soshi?"

"Well you have a better memory then me it seems! I can't even remember my own cloths most days let alone the names of every member in every division." It kinda put him to shame if thats what she meant, he hardly knew the names of the few ranking officers in his division, let alone the rank and file members. Which was kinda sad, he used to have friends way back when and now? Now he couldn't remember most of their names even if they worked under him. What had happened to him? He shook his head, the bells in his hair jingling some as he did so and thrust that thought from his mind, it was after all not to important right now.
"So.. may I come in Captain Soshi?" Blink. Well... That was a question wasn't it? He looked over his shoulder at his rather messy office and shuddered... He did not want anyone, let alone another captain to see that... But how could he refuse her with out sounding rude? Simple. Just tell the truth. "Well... I would say yes but my office currently looks like a tornado went through it... So id rather not entertain here if possible. But i do have a few rooms open for tea and such just around the corner if you would like to sit down and talk over a drink." He had sooo many question to ask, most involving HER INVISIBLE HEAD! How cool was that?

She merely nodded at what he said about barely remembering to put on his clothes, because he didn't have to say it, since she had already seen it with her own two eyes. After asking if she could come in or not she watched him look over his shoulder, at what she could only guess was his office, and perhaps it was a lot messier than he intended it to be. So, that meant he didn't want her to come in. Then what she was thinking was confirmed with the Captain before her, as he mentioned that he had a few rooms open for tea around the corner if she wanted to sit down over a drink, and that sounded absolutely delightful. "That sounds very nice Captain Soshi." She stated, as she walked over to one of the sliding doors, opening it as she sat down at one of the tables that was currently bare and was guessing that of Soshi's members would grab them some tea. "So, Captain Soshi... Do you have anything to ask of me?" She could only guess his questions were gonna be about her head.
"Since it's one of the first questions asked, I'll humor you Soshi. The reason I don't have a head, is when I was younger in the academy. My ego got the better of me, and I tried to try a Kido that was way beyond my understand. By some freak mistake it backfired and made my head invisible and I haven't been able to fix it since." She sighed out, knowing she had already stated this story many times before and she felt rather embarrassed every time she did. Being a Captain at such a young age, she hated to bring my faults that happened in her past, but she supposed it was only inevitable so she could dispel the rumors of the creepy Kido Captain with no head.

"Please just call me Kaede, anything else just sounds too stuffy don't you think?" He honestly hated being called anything other then his first name, a hold over from his child hood or something of that nature he was sure. He took his seat in front of her and nodded to two unseated members of his squad who lurked in a door way a few feet away, signaling them to bring tea. He turned his focus back to the not so headless woman and tried to find a place to rest his eyes, but with no face to speak of that was some what difficult. Kaede considered letting his eyes rest on her chest but figured that would be at least some what awkward at best and would get him a slap at worst. So instead he looked past her, his eyes finding a spot on the wall at where he thought her eyes would be. Not the best solution but the only one he could come up with on such short notice.
With a shrug he found his way out of his captains coat and set his hands on the table as he listened to her speak, his focus and attention completely on her and her story. it was one of his talents after all... Listening. It was the one thing that actually qualified him for this job, and it wasn't even that important. "Now captain Minatsuki, i hope you at least learned from this mistake of yours.... Otherwise life around here might be a little to interesting!" He winked and let his arms rest on the low table in front of them. "Not that i would mind, anything is better then the paper work i have to deal with currently. Honestly i don't know how anyone can manage it all!" With a sigh he leans over slightly, eyes dancing. " There must be a secret... Why don't you share?"

Captain Soshi suggested that she call him Kaede, and she only nodded her head and spoke, "Ah... Okay.. Kaede..." It felt odd being formal with someone who she just met. The only person she was really formal with was Rukia, and even then she called her by her last name often. The only reason she had gotten formal with Katsuro at all was because of lots of food and alcohol. With a shrug, she watched the Captain's cloak shrug off his shoulders. Watching his hands set on the table. He had listened intently to her speak about her little accident and was now reply in turn. Talking about if she had learned from her mistake and she hung her head low, maybe a bit more exaggerated than it needed to be. Watching him wink at her as she twitched at the gesture. "Is, is he flirting with me?" She wondered on the inside of her head, as he spoke about paper work, and how any one could manage it all. Seeing him lean over slightly as his eyes danced around her, asking her what the secret was. Rin, also decided to lean in close, and whispered to him. "Well you see Kaede... What you do, is you wake up early in the morning, about an hour or so before everyone else, and get it done. That way, people are not continuing bothering you and distracting you from your work." She said, pulling back and giving a small laugh.
Although it wasn't really any secret, she continued to speak. "Although, I enjoy paper work oddly enough, I like to read, so its always a breeze. When ever a piece lands on my desk I hurry up and get it done! It then allows me to use my free time as I wish. Like... visiting Captains." She said, as she placed her hands on the table. As mentioned before she was still engrossed in her Captain's robe, the only viable skin being her hands and the entirety of her neck. Even the front of her robe was closed tight, not showing any of her bust. The problem being, that the room was actually a little stuffy, and although she was kind of prudish, she hated getting her robes stained with sweat, they were not easy to clean! So, against her better judgement she undid her sash around her Captains robes, also shedding them. What was underneath was a black set of robes, but not as extravagant as her Captains robes. They had no sleeves, so they exposed the entirety of her pale white arms, showing that she rarely left the confines of her division if she could help it.
"Phew, it is quite stuffy in here Kaede, care to maybe pop open a window?" Her room and eating room were kept at a very comfy temperature, was not only to ensure the comforts of any quests she might get, but to also accommodate her extensive book collection. "You may call me Rin, if you please Captain Kaede. Is there any more daunting questions that you might have for me?" She asked pulling at the middle of her robe, giving her some room around her bust to breathe, wishing that the Captain would offer her some tea, or maybe even a snack. Although maybe not all Captains were as curteous as she was, she always wanted to make her guests homely, as if they hadn't even left their own division quarters.

-Enter-
Shaku Hachi shambled his large frame through the side door, bending over slightly to fit smoothly. He cared in his hands a tin tea set, with a small burner to keep the kettle warm. Setting the tray of tea and cakes down on the small table he then set the cups and cakes aside. Straightening up and grunting in satisfaction Shaku than turned to Kaede. Clucking his tongue slightly he pulled the captains cloak back onto Kaede's shoulders, straightening the robe and brushing any lint and dust off of it. Standing up and smiling around his tusks at his handy work he then silently strode over to the side of the room. Sliding the rice paper walls apart to let in a breeze. Turning around to face the two captains Shaku gave a small bow and then quietly left had as he had came.
-Exit- (not coming back)

She leaned in to meet his rather provocative gaze and whispered to him a voice that he could only define as sultry. "Well you see Kaede... What you do, is you wake up early in the morning, about an hour or so before everyone else, and get it done. That way, people are not continuing bothering you and distracting you from your work." Was she flirting with him? He honestly couldn't tell... But when she leaned back and laughed a tiny laugh he was almost... ALMOST certain of it. But he had never been good at reading women... And the fact that he could not see her face made it even more difficult then usual. Kaede would have torn his own hair out in frustration but he figured that would not have gone over all to well. "Ahh... Well i can see how it would take a smarter man or in this case woman then me to figure that out! Alas i don't think i have the ability to wake up any earlier then i already do, i have a weak constitution you see!" He let out a little chuckle and leaned back one og his arms some how finding its way out of his loose shirt.
"Although, I enjoy paper work oddly enough, I like to read, so its always a breeze. When ever a piece lands on my desk I hurry up and get it done! It then allows me to use my free time as I wish. Like... visiting Captains." Well then that must have been the key to what success she had, for he found no pleasure in any sort of desk work... Being as he was a man of action and reaction. Not to say that he could not enjoy the odd bout of laziness, but that usually did not include any sort of work. Mostly he would just lay back and read some sort of book or watch the clouds pass him by. "Well if you ever find your self lacking any sort of pleasure just let me know, im know i have a mountain or two of back reports that you could do to your hearts content. You could teach me all these little tricks im sure you have..." He drew off as she undid her robe his eyes being attracted by the slight movement and what he saw made him smile a tad wider. She was finally getting comfortable.
"Phew, it is quite stuffy in here Kaede, care to maybe pop open a window? You may call me Rin, if you please Captain Kaede. Is there any more daunting questions that you might have for me?" He smiled at that and nodded and was about to stand as a door slide open and a man he had never seen before walked in with a tray of tea. He sat there his eyes on him and his mouth slightly agape as he set down the tea and cakes and then just stood stalk still as he was redressed, the coat being settled gently if snugly around his shoulders before he was dusted off. So stunned was he that he could not even bring him self to talk as the man opened a wall and bowed his way out of the room. He turned back to Rin shrugging the coat back off his shoulders along with the other sleeve of his under robe, leaving his broad and scarred chest bare. "I only have one question for you right now Rin and that is... Who was that man? I've never seen him before in my life..."

The Captain was a rather pleasant person to be around. At least, so far he seemed to be that way. Although he mentioned that he had a weak constitution, and that there was no way for him to get up any earlier than possible. It would seem he'd continue to have a paper work problem, and after her little blurb about loving paper work he said she could always do his. She waved her hand and gave him a gentle laugh, thinking to herself. "My paper work is enough thank you~." She thought to herself. After they had both stopped talking a man suddenly slid into the room, as she looked at him. Walking in with a tray of tea and cakes. "Oh, it looks like Kaede did indeed get us some treats." She thought, as the man sat down. instantly recognizing him as Shaku Hachi, the new Lieutenant of the third division. The man sat the tray down, before he redressed the Captain and dusted him off. Her eye brow raising as he then snuck his way back out of the room.
She watched Kaede reshurg off his robe, revealing his broad and scarred chest. As he asked her who exactly that was, since he had never seen him before in his life. "Well... Captain Kaede.. There was some paper work this morning, or more so... some information. That is Shaku Hachi, I do believe he has been assigned as your.. Lieutenant." She said, as she reached for the pot of tea, pouring them each a cup. As she readily helped herself to the little cakes as she popped one into her mouth, following it with a long sip of the tea. "Ahhh.. Well, at least we now know he can make good tea, and cake too. That's assuming he made them of course." She nodded, as she gave the tea another sip before looking up from the cakes and tea. "Well, Captain Kaede, I guess you do have a mountain of paper work in that messy room of yours. I thought maybe you were just being silly.
Oh well, maybe I'll give you a hand with it after all." She said, her good nature once again getting the better of her. "Only on one condition though. You buy me a bottle of sake, and an all I can eat meal. I will get you all caught up on your paper work, once!." She exclaimed, following it with a laugh as she took another sip of her tea. Refilling her own cup, before she grabbed another piece of cake and popped it into her mouth. Munching on it slowly as she savored the flavor.
