Her voice is probably the most stand-out thing people notice, having almost a singer-like quality to it, with notes that ring pure and long like a tuning fork on a wine glass. Despite this amazing voice however, she has no interest in becoming a singer, pertaining to her lazy attitude. Her diet is very much whatever she feels like eating, her high metabolism reduces weight gain by a significant amount, to the point where her natural weight loss balances it out completely. The way she holds herself while walking and standing is also worth mention, as she carries a sort of dignity and poise when fully awake but as she grows progressively more and more tired, her posture weakens significantly and she often sinks into a low slouch when walking until she can get some sleep. BRIEF PERSONALITY GENERAL INFO And I feel like I'm losing time~ LIKES: - Women DISLIKES: - Being sober NEGATIVE: - Lazy POSITIVE: - Usually friendly EXTRA: Well well, what can we say about little Aihime? Probably the most prominent feature of her personality is her desire to simply sleep the days away. At first it was brought about by her affliction, which slowly turned into laziness and now into sloth as the problem got progressively worse. As such she spends most of her day using her fellow squad-mates as her own personal portable bed, which they are somehow fine with. There she does naught but sleep and think, usually about trivial matters and such, though her thoughts can be described as quite intelligent at times. WEAPONRY/POWERS TOOLS OF WAR But I don't know how I'm here~ WEAPONS:
ZANPAKUTO: name: Dantō | 断刀 | Seversword SHIKAI: release command: |
description: Dantō, in it's Shikai form, is a massive broadsword shaped like a giant butcher knife. The blade itself has two cut outs, a circle close to the top and a semi-circular one nearer the handle, that aptly fit the sword's purpose of decapitation. The latter notch allows a strap to be wrapped around the weapon, making it easier for the user to carry. Its extremely long handle is also detachable to further aid transportation and then reattached when required for combat. However, it's main weakness comes from the fact that it is very heavy and difficult to wield, though the latter can be nullified by learning how to use the awkward shape of the sword to the user's own advantage.

BANKAI:
[/i][/ul]
name: Kishin no Shōshū | 貴紳召集 | Convening of the Nobles
description:
When released, Kishin no Shōshū compresses the original blade of Aihime's Shikai into a more easily manageable state, while also retaining the length and weight. This allows Aihime to fight with Kishin no Shōshū without having to adjust her fighting style very much to accommodate it. In addition to the blade, a large gourd also materializes on her back, the main purpose of which is to facilitate her Bankai's new ability. While this does hinder movement somewhat, it can be unattached from her body as if it were simply attached via a strip of cloth. If the gourd is damaged in some way, it can slowly begin to repair itself over the course of 2 turns using the reishi from it's surroundings.
The basic concept of Aihime's Bankai is the ability to manipulate specially created alcohol in a similar manner to hydrokinesis. What makes this special compared to other liquid-based manipulation Zanpakuto, like Hyourinmaru, is the material used. The alcohol is less dense than water and therefore faster but also more affected by wind. It is, of course, colourless like water, meaning people often mistake it for that very same compound. However, unlike water, it is naturally resistant to freezing and colder temperatures, while being more susceptible to higher temperatures and evaporation, retaining it's flammability.

Description
While Aihime's Bankai does allow her to manipulate alcohol, it only allows her to manipulate the alcohol created in the gourd on her back, which has been made specifically by her reiryoku. That is what this technique signifies, the creation of the alcohol to be used. As long as Aihime still has some sort of physical connection to the gourd, she can refill it almost instantaneously at the equivalent cost of a #10 Kido. While it is theoretically possible to make more alcohol than the gourd can hold, she is unable to alter the properties of any alcohol not in the gourd, however it is still usable.

Description
Aihime, while the alcohol is still in her gourd, can significantly alter the properties of the liquid, giving it many alternative uses. These are listed here as:
- Turning the alcohol drinkable
Again, at first glance this offers no benefit to Aihime, however her severe drinking habits may go a long way in explaining why this is useful, often using it to alter her swordsmanship and make it harder to predict her attacks, though this might just be an excuse to get drunk during battle. - Altering the temperature of the alcohol via friction
For 3 turns, this allows the alcohol to melt any ice-based attacks on contact from someone who is of equal SEI to her or lower. It also prevents the alcohol, even more than it already was, from being frozen via natural or reiatsu-based methods.
If these effects are applied to the alcohol in the gourd, any technique utilizing the alcohol will have those effects until all of the alcohol that was altered is used up.

Description
Her most basic form of attack, besides her blade, is the ability to gather alcohol in her hand or on the edge of her blade, pressurize it and launch it at her target like a missile. The pressurized water travels and strikes like a bullet and at it's lowest form is about the size of Aihime's fist, with the power to break bones only at point-blank impact. At it's highest form/power, it takes the form of a large, cutting wave about twice the size of Aihime in height. This wave is not capable of cutting, but the power behind it is capable of snapping bones like dry twigs.

Description
By creating a puddle of alcohol on the ground and allowing her opponent to step into it, Aihime can cause the alcohol to instantly evaporate, creating a mist around the target. This mist causes them to feel the effects of severe drunkenness, including loss of balance, coordination and reasoning, as well as nausea if exposed to it for more than 2 turns. The puddle is usually around 30 metres in diameter and the mist lasts for a maximum of 3 turns. After 1 turn of exposure, the victim will be beset with their usual set of characteristics in terms of being drunk (becoming sleepy, aggressive, unreasonable etc. depending on the character) and start to have a half-second delay in reaction time, with slurred movement and speech. After 2 turns, the victim will feel nauseated and feel like vomiting if subjected to high altitudes or velocities, as well as all of the characteristics of the first turn. After 3 turns, the victim will most likely pass out. This affects all ranks equally, as it affects the victim in a way that cannot be defended against via any of the stats, however the mist can be dispersed by a surge of reiatsu from a victim one rank higher than Aihime, if they are able to act quickly enough. This of course affects Aihime as well if she walks into the mist.

HISTORY:
[For the sake of hilarity and convenience, I will be presenting Aihime's History in the form of an interview. What will be noted here will be what her perspective of her history is, it may leave out details that will re-appear in later plot arcs.]
Q#1 - What was your childhood like?
My childhood? Huh... well, to be honest I don't remember much of it, not that it was really important either way. My mother was a *ahem* 'entertainer', shall we say, while my father was a conman, fairly decent at his job too. They're both dead now of course, but they weren't exactly around much to see me, I mostly just did my own thing growing up.
I do have a bit of a funny story though. My mother, being an 'entertainer' and all, usually worked nights while my father was out drinking and trying to flog his new 'priceless artifact', probably sleeping with like 6-7 women while he was out there too... lucky bastard. Anyway, so mother comes home one night, tired from her work and walking bow-legged. I mean at the time I was what... 3? 4? So I didn't know why exactly she was walking like tha- Anyhow, she goes to the kitchen, takes out her favourite bottle of honey mead, takes a swig and then falls over, right through father's new fake portrait that he spent his weekly 'paycheck' on to try and flog later. She tries to cover it up best she can, ends up spilling her mead on it as well, pooling it on the floor. She falls over again, drunk off her ass and starts licking up the mead on the floor. Who the fu- I mean, not even I do that. Well... I have once, but you don't exactly make that a habit.
Q#2 - What did you do when you were a little older?
Ah, now here's where the story gets a little more fun. I'll tell you what, I ain't changed a bit since back then, whew~ I was a complete party animal. My friends and I used to all work in a small store, I think it was selling glasses or some crap, I dunno. Anyway, we used to save up our paychecks and go out drinking every night, spend the bare minimum on food and other stuff we needed for our houses. I guess that was how my... affliction... came about, y'know? Not eating enough.
In any case, it was pretty easy to get by, my life was good if a little simple. Sharing beds with various beautiful women, sometimes all at once, hehe~ Strange... I seem to remember a lot less of my younger days than I thought... that's kinda depressing. Still, the memories I do have are sweeeeet~ Oh I remember those nights with Ami-chan~
Q#3 - So what changed to make you want to become a Shinigami?
Oh that? Pff, that was a dare believe it or not. We all got drunk one night and they dared me to sign up as a Shinigami. I filled out the application and somehow I got accepted into the Academy. Don't worry, we were all stunned. At first I was planning on just not turning up but... I dunno, I guess I was lured by the prospect of finding many more beautiful women in Seireitei, it always seemed like that one place that you weren't allowed into... which kinda made me want to go in there at least once.
That was the last time I saw any of my friends though... I kinda miss Junpei and the rest of the gang but maybe it was for the best, y'know? I mean you guys have stated several times how much you need people who can use a Bankai so here I am. As long as you give me drink and women, I'll fight for you.
Q#4 - How was your time in the Academy?
Hahaha... oh dear this is going to be a long one. Short answer: My time at the Academy was... less fun than I imagined. Long answer: My time at the Academy was sooooooooooo much less fun than I imagined.
Forcing me to go to classes and not drink... ugh. I considered dropping out several times throughout my 6 year education there but... well I quite obviously didn't otherwise I wouldn't be here, right? Dunno what convinced me to stay. I guess the prospect of not being able to find my friends again and living out the rest of my days with no purpose sort of... scared me, I guess. Besides, the beautiful women of the Academy needed me. They needed a good time to get away from the stress and I provided that... at the cost of my own study time but who needs studying, right?
The only classes I was really forced to attend were swordsmanship classes, though I always hated them, filled with burly, sweaty men... ick. I always preferred the healing classes and Kido classes, lots of gentle, shy women. Then again I'd always screw up trying to cast a Kido and make a fool of myself but sometimes I made them laugh, that was enough for me.
After a year or two though, I realized that I wasn't exactly good at... well any class. And if I wanted to stick around, I'd have to find something I was decent at. So I chose Zanjutsu class, despite the lack of breasts in those classes and I stuck at it, got pretty good too. Soon I was like third or fourth in the class, though my sensei told me that if I truly applied myself I could be the top of the class... bunch of bullcrap that was.
So yeah, I focused a little on my studies, made myself competent in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat, read a couple of books, wrote a few essays etc. Put my drinking on the back burner for a while, though of course I never stopped. Those Academy girls were... hoo damn, too good. Anyway, I eventually got good enough to graduate and... well, I did. End of story, I guess.
Q#5 - How and when did you uncover your Shikai
...I-... Dammit, why'd you have to ask that question... *sigh*... I guess it's kinda important, right? Fine, fine. Last year of the Academy, we were on a field mission. Y'know, gather evidence about Hollow attacks, determine what exactly happened... boring stuff. I didn't take it very seriously, no one did. So I brought a bottle of booze with me, hiding it in... places. A couple of the students and I sneak into an alley, right? And we start getting drunk... like really drunk. Like not even being able to stand up drunk. Pretty stupid, I know. We were young.
Anyway, while we were sitting there giggling our asses off, suddenly some big-ass Hollow steps out of the shadows and dashes at us. Being intoxicated, I reach for my Zanpakuto, miss and ram the tips of my fingers into the ground, lots of pain, too much pain, so much that I black out. And then I hear some sort of echoing growl... I dunno... like the type a wolf would make if you ad just attacked it's cubs. And in the middle of that was the name of my Zanpakuto. Out of impulse, I spoke it. And my Shikai was revealed to me.
When I awoke though, everyone was dead and the Hollow was about to kill me as well, with it's massive claws and such. With Dantō now awakened, I cut through it's hand, arm, then chest, then it's head. It's vivid enough that I can replay it exactly in my head... I vomited after I killed it... from a mix of horror, fear and drink...
Q#6 - What squad were you assigned to first and what was it like?
I was assigned to Squad 11, believe it or not. I mean it kinda made sense, I was primarily a Zanjutsu-user with a physical-based Zanpakuto and a metaphorical hard-on for drinking and women. Perfect for Squad 11. Well... it wasn't exactly my song and dance. Reminded me too much of the Zanjutsu lessons in the Academy, lots of muscle-bound men, all sweaty and disgusting. So I requested a transfer several days later. Can't remember which one I requested, I think it was Squad 8 or something. They put me in Squad 3 after accepting my transfer though, even though that wasn't the squad I asked for.
Maaan that was depressing. I had heard tale of how boring and sad everyone from Squad 3 was but that was nothing compared to what it was actually like. I requested another transfer after about a month or so and they accepted, to my surprise.
I guess that's how I came to be in Squad 7. Wasn't really by choice but... I'm glad I'm here. Besides, we get to go partying with the guys in Rukongai every now and again, it's great.
Q#7 - How and when did you achieve Bankai?
Always with the depressing questions, aren't you? But I guess this is kinda important as well. Strangely enough I was sober at the time, which is weird for me. Hell, I'm slightly tipsy right now. I don't know what exactly motivated me to train for Bankai. Honestly it's a pretty hazy memory, all I remember is some bald guy with a weird nose telling me that I wasn't worth anything to my squad. Now that I think about it, I think he was criticizing me for being a woman and saying that women were only holes for babies to drop out of. Needless to say I hurt that guy. A lot.
It got me thinking though. If I can prove that a woman, even one like me, is able to achieve a higher power, wouldn't that inspire other women too? I mean I ain't exactly a feminist but I didn't want my pretties to be disheartened because of some self-righteous prick. So I trained.
Eventually Dantō pulled me into my... what is it you guys call it? Inner World? And... yeah. Something was off. It took me a while to realize that there weren't any chains on the poor bastard and that he was simply kneeling in front of me. Now that put me on edge. Usually if even one of the chains break loose this guy goes bloody nuts. Anyway, he stands up slowly, I reach over to my Zanpakuto and... we fight. And we fight hard. Never had a fight so difficult in my life, had to scramble for every inch of advantage.
Fighting that poor guy was just... depressing. I kept looking at... well, what little face he has and seeing something there, something that reminded me of a deeper part of myself. And that scared me, wholly and utterly. Eventually though, I managed to defeat him and I unlocked my Bankai... that's... that's the end of it.
It sounds as if there's more to the story.
No! No... there isn't.
Q#8 - How did you become a Captain?
Again, unfortunately, this was a complete accident. I kept my Bankai a secret to everyone but myself, obviously. However, even though my friends didn't know I had Bankai, they decided to nominate me as the squad Captain, y'know, as a laugh.
So I'm summoned up to the First's Barracks and I stand in a room with all the Captains just... watching me, taking in every part of my being. It was pretty uncomfortable, though I did notice a couple of cutie Captains that I was eager to.. 'bond' with. They asked me to show my Bankai and show it's capabilities. So I did and presumably they were impressed. They gave me the Captaincy position right then and there... as if there weren't any other candidates. I found it later there weren't, which honestly made me slightly anxious.
But... well, that's how I became a Captain, I guess. Not exactly a very complicated story.
Thank you for your time.
Uh huh... hey, wanna go drinking later?
RP SAMPLE:
The shrill screeching of the alarm awoke the sleeping blonde-haired woman, an alert that she was sure she had muted several times before. Alyssa's room, part of a huge complex designed for the housing of trainers that had found themselves as a part of the illustrious organisation known as the Elite Four. Ms. Melons' particular section of the compound was essentially all one room, built on different levels with small dashings of stairs to lead up to these different areas inside the one room. Don't mistake this for being small however, it is quite the opposite, with a towering ceiling and vast amounts of space, adorned with a crystalline skylight, clear white walls and slate grey marble flooring and counters.
Alyssa has a particular decor style, shall we say. The generic ones she received as a gift upon moving into the complex she promptly burned at her first convenience, their boring white color making Alyssa sick to the stomach. Now, they were replaced by velvet pink, each adorned with a black symbol shaped like an Aggron and each holding intricate gold lace around the edges.
It was from within the depths of this velvet pink sea that the messy-haired, tired-eyed blond woman rose, groaning as the sunlight streamed in from above. Naturally, from that night's drinking she had acquired a massive hangover headache, which seemed to cloud her memory slightly. It took her several minutes of sitting up in the bed to realize what, and indeed who, she had done last night. There had been this very attractive black-haired lady that Alyssa had proceeded to, ahem, 'work her charms on' and she had brought the woman back for some late night light reading, shall we say. Grinning, Alyssa turned her head, expecting to see the woman lying there next to her, but seeing only a blank space. With a sigh of disappointment, the blonde-haired Elite Four sat up, stretching and yawning loudly.
This hangover would pass with a good shower, that always seemed to work for Alyssa. None of that fancy medicine or whatever, just a good old shower seemed to relieve the aches and pains of the night before. Maybe it was just due to her affliction that the negative effects of the alcohol seemed to drain away in response to outside stimuli... or maybe Alyssa was just so damn used to it now that her brain just didn't bother to put her into a hangover state for very long. Either way, Alyssa couldn't help but feel slightly grateful.
With another groan she pushed herself up off the soft bed, padding slowly over towards the nicely tiled bathroom where her trusty hairbrush was waiting. Frankly, she hadn't bothered to put clothes back on for the trip to the bathroom, considering she'd just be taking them off anyway but she couldn't help but wonder if the press had figured a way onto her roof yet.
Her haystack hair was starting to get on her nerves currently, so she was glad that her feet had finally found the cool, smooth tiles of the stark white bathroom. The sliding door shower loomed ahead, which Alyssa promptly took her tired self into, sliding the door closed behind her lazily with her toe. Mashing the button with a pair of stiff fingers, Alyssa sighed in comfort as the warm water cascades across her pale skin, feeling the throbbing headache beginning to ebb away into the recesses of her mind.
After several minutes of relaxation in the water, Alyssa turned off the water, stepping out of the sliding door and humming to herself as she snatched a towel from the rack, rubbing herself quickly with the soft fabric, before wrapping it around her ample chest and snatching up the hair drier. It took several minutes to work her luscious locks back to their original shimmering beauty, shaking her hair to let it fall free behind her and letting the towel drop into the washing basket for later clean up by the maids.
Pulling herself away from her reflection, Alyssa found herself searching through her ever-expanding wardrobe in an endeavor that every woman seemed to have in the morning. What to wear. What to wear indeed. Feeling it was better to look at her schedule first, she did so, sliding the little digital touch-pad device she was using as her fail-safe, her guide throughout the day. Flicking through it she found her entry for today, noticing a rather large section that, due to her tiredness, was difficult to make out. She read it over several times. 'WINTER. BALL. WINTER. BALL.' Finally it clicked in her mind. The dance, the Winter Ball, the huge event that she had been invited to, had been so excited for, forgotten after one night with an attractive lady friend. Love-making is quite the distraction, it seemed.
In any case it was probably a good idea to pick something formal to wear, something that may or may not help her in a nice little game of 'Chick Pick-up'. After all, Alyssa's bed was so bouncy and soft and nicely kept, so why not share it, right? Flicking through her dress section, she paused on a few dresses that she liked, before frowning and moving on. It was only after about half an hour of searching that she found something that she thought perfect. A rather tight-fitting dress, tailor-made for Alyssa's figure, colored a deep velvet red and adorned with a single red rose at the front located at the hip. The dress was incredibly tight at the skirt section, similar in design in fact to a secretary's skirt, though a particularly large section was cut from the hem right to the hip, triangular in shape and obviously meant to show of the wearer's entire thigh. Quite a risque dress, as one might imagine, though that seemed to fit Alyssa's overall character well. Selecting a pair of gold platform heels and a pair of elbow gloves that matched the dress' style, material and color, both adorned with a red rose between the middle and ring fingers.
Satisfied with her choice, she lay them down on the bed, before picking out her usual black shihakushou, slipping hakama on first, securing it with the white obi sash and then fastening the kosode over her front, as usual leaving a good portion of her cleavage visible. Deciding it was foolish to try and walk all the way to the party in those heels, she instead pulled on a pair of white socks and simple gold sandals, quickly fastening them to her feet and standing once again fron the edge of the bed.
Again humming a merry little tune to herself, she decided it would be a good idea to carry the dress and heels in a little bag, which she promptly retrieved from the kitchen, carefully placing the folded velvet cloth into it's depths and placing the shimmering shoes in on top. The gloves she delicately folded as well, placing them next to the shoes, before lifting the bag a little to test it's weight.
There was an outstanding issue though. Despite the fact that the Pokemon League is the closest piece of land in Hoenn to Johto, there was still miles and miles of water to cover between her and the party. The obvious way would be flying, but that would mess up her hair, a central part of her appearance. Surfing would take far too long to be worthwhile and Aggron, while a very powerful swimmer, is quite the heavy son of a gun. Perhaps a trip back to Slateport to catch the ferry would be the most efficient way, though forking out money was never her style. Ah well, there wasn't really any other way, was there?
Snatching up her clothes bag and little red handbag, within which she had placed the pokeballs of her trusty Aggron and Skarmory, leaving the others behind so as to avoid having to take her larger handbag. Stepping up to the door and placing her pink silk boa over her shoulders, she looked back for a moment on her apartment, before slipping out and locking the door behind her.--------
With a sigh Alyssa stepped off the particularly large boat, trying not to let the certain degree of drama she had caused on board get to her. Hitting on the Captain shouldn't have been such a big deal, right? She was such a cutie, you could hardly blame Alyssa for wanting to... 'get to know her' a little better. Some people are just far too up-tight.
She ignored the angry yelling of the Captain as the crew tried to hold the woman back, Alyssa simply stepping away, thinking about the party she was going to. The blonde-haired woman had arrived in the bustling city of Goldenrod, which she knew was nowhere near where she wanted to be. Still, the city was lively, full of people moving hurriedly to different jobs, meeting different people. Plus, she couldn't help but want to check out the department store. No, no, she must stay on course. She could come back later.
After searching around for quite a while, it became evident that the only way she was getting to Blackthorn City without messing up her hair was to fork out more cash. With a sigh, she handed a stack of several hundred Pokedollars to the rather stubby and sweaty cab driver, before slipping into the back seat of the large yellow car.
There was so much she wanted to explore in this region, so many beautiful sights she had seen in the lumpy seat of the old car, completely blanking the driver's attempts at polite conversation. Perhaps she would have to some exploring like in her old trainer days, go do a little hiking for a while. Johto was such a lovely place, so very vibrant and fun. Hoenn, Alyssa felt, was very much more industrial and grown up, though there were some places she hadn't had a chance to explore yet, like the island of Dewford, or even the whole of Rustboro City. It really took her back to those days with Amy, how she missed them. Ah well, she had a responsibility now, right? To be the last obstacle in the way of all Trainers who wish to be named the Champion of the Hoenn Region.
She barely registered the words of the cab driver as he slowed to a stop in front of the entrance of the Ice Path. When she did, she merely left the cab, not speaking a word to the man, nor even indicating that she had heard him. Alyssa heard him grumble something under his breath but she ignored whatever it was he said, flicking the door shut quickly. She was here, finally.
It was quite obvious to see from the way people were dressed that it was a formal occasion, which quite honestly made Alyssa quite disappointed. Being the only one there in formal clothing would have made her stand out more but ah well, things don't always go the way you plan them, right?
After a few moments she found herself inside, looking around at the intricate designs along the walls, in her mind comparing them to the inside of her Elite Four battle chamber. Not bad, not bad. But it still couldn't hold a candle to the illustrious beauty of Alyssa's Elite Four ballroom. In any case, next thing was to find somewhere she could change. Following a stream of people, she found her way into one of the spare rooms, which were being used as changing rooms by the attendants of the ball.
With a deep breath she began getting undressed, folding her kosode, hakama, obi, white socks and sandals, placing them into the bag where the dress once was. Then, she unzipped the tight little dress, pulling it up from her ankles and then refastening it when it reached her large chest, noticing for the first time that it was in fact a bustier. Huh, how did she not notice that before? In any case, this certainly helped the sex appeal side of things. Smiling to herself as she donned the gold platform heels and red velvet gloves, looking at herself in the mirror quickly.
As soon as she stepped out she felt the eyes of almost everyone in the queue for the changing rooms looking everywhere but her face. She giggled a little to herself, before moving back to the main room, just in time feel a rather small woman fall into her arms, the girl's face bouncing off of Alyssa's ample chest. After a moment she realized that it was her old friend Brittani in a cute little pink dress looking extremely cute. Several moments passed before she moved Brittani, looking into her eyes with an amused grin.
"Oh my, are you alright, Brittani?"
