[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=style, height: 200px; width: 480px; background-color: #000000;][atrb=valign,top] The calm before the storm is nearing... The sound of ripping could be heard echoing throughout the Seireitei, how could it not? There was nothing but silence from where the garganta had opened, though the height from which it was opened and the distance from the Soul Society itself made the sound go completely unnoticed. The figure inside made sure to conceal her reiatsu so that she could not be detected, there was no need to attract attention and cause a mass panic when all she was here for was a purpose of peace.
Stepping from the garganta and onto the reishi in the air Zelena looked around at the new territory before her, she had never been inside the Soul Society, the difference between here and Hueco Mundo was so vast, it was in stark contrast to her lovely home bathed eternally by the glow of a full moon. There was sun, not the artificial sun she left installed in Los Noches, but real sun. It almost hurt Zel's eyes it was so bright, having to squint until her eyes adjusted to the large amount of light they were now taking in.
It looked, well, lovely really, Zelena could appreciate the architecture that went into building this place, however much she may have despised what lived there. She put her dislike of Shinigami aside, they were here to offer a truce after all, so she needed to grin and bear it. She turned around, waiting for the figure who lurked behind her to step from the garganta before she closed the portal and made way, she had already said everything she needed to while they traversed through the garganta. With a burst of speed she silently stole off, following the kanji numbers on each of the division barracks to lead her to the one she wanted, finally, she had made it.
She stopped above the area, then sonido'd around the building only to find an open window, how foolish of the Head Captain to leave a window open. She stopped back in front of the building and spoke softly, not like it mattered, they couldn't be heard from their height anyway."Seems their leader has left an open window, remember, once we are inside, you will briefly spike your reiatsu, and alert them to our presence, seems no one is currently in the office." With that she was off, speeding back to and then through the open window, but she slowed herself enough so that Raijin could follow her and find their way in. It didn't take long for the Segunda Espada to follow right after his queen. Raijin's spiritual pressure was masked, making his presence unbeknownst to the Shinigami. It was an honor to help his Queen with such an important mission. Especially since she considered him the best candidate to go. It was his time to prove himself as an Espada. It was his time to shine and prove to Rou that he's the real hero. Even if he didn't really care about it.
The Seireitei was so vastly different from Hueco Mundo. It seemed to actually have an info structure. It was more modern and civilized then their more medieval-style home. He actually liked how the Seireitei was set up. It had order and structure. It wasn't just a giant wasteland of hopeless idiots and beasts. And that sun. How Raijin could just FEEL the energy that the real and true solar radiation that it gave off. There was nothing more that the Espada wanted than to release right now, to fully taste the energy. It would have been a dream come true.
However, there was a much more important task ahead of them. Raijin followed his Queen, being almost as quick as her, and just as silent. He tried not to look around too much. He knew that he would become envious of the structure and order that the Shinigami had. It really was something that appealed to Raijin. However, he knew it would never fit him anymore. He was an Espada, and that was that.
As they came to the window, Raijin simply nodded his head at his Queen's orders. He didn't feel safe saying too much, worrying his voice would somehow carry with the wind. He slipped inside right behind Zelena, the window closing behind him. It was at this point that he released the cloak around his spiritual pressure, followed by a sudden surge in his reiatsu. This would alert anyone around them to at least his presence. The presence of a very powerful Arrancar.

Finally. The old man sat peacefully on his normal area for relaxation: Sokyoku Hill. Though the giant blade represented torment and death for several shinigami in the past, to Yamamoto, the blade represented peace. With that blade, he brought peace to Soul Society hundreds of times. A quite morbid form of optimism, but he needed anything he could get. Karakura town neared a state of unrest that he had never dealt with before. Two factions, the Togabito and Consecro, rose up to wreck more havoc on the one town where everything seemed to spring up. For some reason, Karakura town just attracted trouble. He hoped one day Central 46, in one of their crazy meetings, decided to obliterate Karakura Town. A crazy decision, but, right now, he had an unstable mind. The wrinkled hands of the age-old Captain wrapped their linky fingers around a mug containing Matcha Tea, preparing to take a sip.
In the air, the sound of movement mixed into all the hustle and bustle of Seireitei. Despite this, something else changed all of that. Before his conscience could even understand the signal, Yamamoto leaped up and flash stepped toward his office. His body informed him on the way that a hollow reiatsu had just appeared...inside his office. Before the arrancar's reiatsu had even peaked, the one and only Head Captain Soul Society had ever known stood before his desk. The layout of his office could not confuse anyone: the door opened to a room with a desk at the back and a large window to the left of the door.
Yamamoto kept his cane firm on the ground, and with a nonchalant voice - nonchalant for him sounded raspy and powerful - he regarded the pair, "Why I even have a lieutenant, a patrol squad, a security squad, and a research division befuddles me most of the time." After this statement, the "war is peace" mentality the elderly man had just fed for a few hours took over and the covering of his cane unraveled to reveal a katana which the old man moved so he could hold upright. "Boy, go home. Woman, escort your child away."

Post by Kizomaru Hotaru on Mar 29, 2013 22:39:37 GMT -5
All had been well, peaceful even, the only thing which Kizomaru could consider wrong with the day was the dreadful amount of paperwork she had been dealing with. There had been large amounts before, but apparently being First Lieutenant meant dealing with ridiculous amounts of paperwork, she felt like she barely made a dent in the large stacks and she had been there since the early morning! With a sigh, Kizomaru put down her pen and ran a hand through her medium length violet hair, she needed a break.
Checking the clock, recalling the schedule she realized it was time for squad training, so she straightened up her papers and set out, notifying an unseated officer to gather the rest of the squad and meet her on the training grounds. From there the rest was a welcome change, much better than dealing with the never ending piles of papers that she had been struggling with all morning. She watched as they paired off and sparred, occasionally she had to step in an interrupt, correcting someone on their stance or how they handled the weapon in general but nothing too serious.
The training went on for a good hour uninterrupted before Kizomaru felt something was odd, something akin to a bad feeling, and it was then that she felt the Arrancar presence within her Captain's office. She called the training off and told the officers to get inside, though, she had to stop a good few of them from storming the office and potentially getting themselves killed. Once she had made sure her squad was safe, she quickly shunpo'd to her Captain's office, making it just in time to hear him speak.
A quiet sigh made her body heave but her eyes were narrowed into vicious slits, glaring at the two before her."My apologies Sir, I was training the Squad when I felt them and had to make sure they were safe." Kizomaru's voice was low enough for only him to hear, her hands on her zanpakuto in preparation to attack. 'Unless you would have preferred them all rushing to their deaths and ruining your office with their blood.' Obviously she kept her thoughts to herself, but she couldn't deny the comment stung a little bit. Now wasn't the time for such petty things however, there was something far more serious to deal with.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=style, height: 200px; width: 480px; background-color: #000000;][atrb=valign,top] The calm before the storm is nearing... Zelena waited patiently for the wheels to start turning, fortunately she did not have to wait long as she felt the Head Captain approach his office before he even appeared before them. At his words she did not flinch, nor move one single muscle, she simply just chuckled and stared at him with careful eyes. It was right when she was preparing to speak that the Lieutenant came through the office door to stand beside Yamamoto. Zelena could only assume that she was his direct lieutenant, proven only an instant later when she saw the kanji for one on the woman's band.
The Espada Queen stared into the crystal blue eyes which glared at her, she shook her head and sighed at the aggression that was there. They should have known that, if they were there to cause harm, it would have been done already. Oh well, she expected the hostility from them, she didn't figure they'd be hospitable to their enemy. Rather than leave, Zelena turned around and sat down in the empty chair opposite the giant throne like one that sat on the business side of the desk, and crossed her legs.
"I think you should tell your child to stand down, as should you, Head Captain. My Espada and I have not come here to harm rather, we have a proposal for you." Zelena spoke calmly, before she would get into any more of the reason for why she was there, she needed to sooth their fears.
"If we were here on a mission of harm, we would have carried out that act by now, Head Captain. We snuck in under the radar so as to not cause your army mass panic, however, Raijin-san had to spike his reiatsu. How else would we have alerted you to our presence?" Waiting never was one of Raijin's strongest suits. He liked when things were constantly loving. When there was always something to do. It was probably the side effect of being around a certain Arrancar too much. His daily living usually never had a dull moment. That is why he was thankful for when the Head Captain appeared before he even reached the maximum of his spike of power. He started to diminish it, tapering it off to give the appearance that the threat was no more. He scuffed slightly at being called a boy. He hadn't ever been called a boy in his life as an Arrancar. It was unfamiliar.
He calmed as Zelena spoke, moving to stand beside her like a body-guard. He crossed his arms, looking at the captain's lieutenant. He really didn't like the way this Shinigami looked at his Queen. He figured someone with her power should get respect. That was how it was in Heuco Mundo. Power WAS respect. His face betrayed him, showing signs of just how unpleased he was. His face was scowling at Kizomaru, resisting the urge to just crush her or simply make her disappear off of the face of the planet.
He tried to make himself calmer. His repositioned, shaking off the more hostile aura around him. It would be rather troublesome if he came off as, well, anything but friendly. They had to make some sort of peace with the Shinigami. Even if they had plans to betray them later.

The old man, the great captain, heard his lieutenant come in and explain why she arrived late. An excuse to him, no matter how rational. On the weathered wooden floors of his office, in the first established division of the Gotei Juusan, stood two of the most powerful enemies Yamamoto had to face within the confines of his comfort zone and his lieutenant went on about other shinigami and other division affairs. He chose this one himself, though, and he did not have much affection for Chojiro Sasakibe when he started his job as a lieutenant, so Yamamoto hoped he would grow accustomed to her soon. For now, he needed her to be as much of a right hand as possible. "Hotaru fukutaicho, prepare a hell butterfly for Yamada taicho and Kurosawa taicho."
With that, the fearless leader of the Shinigami raised his zanpakto and moved it before him. The katana glimmered under the sun light of the afternoon and grew in intensity, making the rather calm situation escalate toward what the Head Captain had in mind. The leisurely sitting of the female arrancar and the posing of the male arrancar both made Yamamoto understand they really wished to speak. He could care less what they needed to say, but, if he acted on his own annoyed impulses, he would not live to stand today. The heat on the zanpakto had risen to where he could effortlessly switch from his current sealed state to his shikai. He moved the zanpakto to his side where it hung near the ground. His eyes looked over at them through slits, where his marble red irises hid behind his eyelids, yet he made it clear through the unsheathing of his zanpakto and his rather firm stance that he would cut them down if they made any incorrect decisions. He could not leave out hostility at this point.
Two arrancar. One looking to protect the other, though the other exudes reiatsu at levels much higher than the male. She had a higher rank than him for sure. Both their reiatsu's, though, easily ranked among the strength of the arrancar Sotaicho felt during the war with Aizen. This meant the heavy research which went into understanding post-Aizen Hueco Mundo had a correct hypothesis: Hueco Mundo had reorganized despite Aizen's absence. This would provide yet another problem the shinigami would have to deal with soon. He would probably have to sit down with some of the tactical strategies captains and think of how they could eliminate the problem of three factions at once. For now, though, he had two ticking time bombs before him. "Who are you?"

Kizomaru nodded. ”Yes Sir.” Closing her eyes, she focused, her left arm outstretched and her index finger extended. It wasn’t long before a Hell Butterfly landed on her extended finger, falling with a gentle gracefulness from the sky. She opened her eyes again and took a breath, preparing her message that she would send to those whom she was told. ”This is First Division Lieutenant Kizomaru Hotaru; this message is to go to Captain Kurosawa and Captain Yamada, there are two Arrancar present in the Soul Society, specifically in Head Captain Yamamoto’s office. Keep on guard for more possible enemies, ready your troops and prepare to defend the Soul Society against a possible Arrancar invasion.” With that the Hell Butterfly fluttered off, vanishing almost as soon as it had arrived, once her hand was freed they returned to the zanpakuto at her sides. Her eyes kept their narrowed gaze on the Arrancar before her.
She began thinking, what could she do? What should she do? She knew she might already be in hot water for not getting their before him, but she also had a suspicion that, even if she had gotten there first, she might be in hot water for being reckless. It seemed like she couldn’t win, she had been trying since she got her position to prove herself, to impress the one who made the choice to give her the position she currently held. She never remembered worrying so much to impress any of her captains as much as she worried about impressing Yamamoto, perhaps it was simply because he was the Head Captain. She was the second lieutenant of the First Division; she had some pretty big shoes to fill seeing as she was following Sasakibe, who was clearly far more experienced than she was, she had to make a lasting impression.
With that thought on her mind, Kizomaru was planning on taking the initiative and possibly bind the Arrancar in place, but then she thought about the possible retaliation that would come from doing something like that and quickly discarded the idea. It would most likely have caused a backlash by Raijin and an all-out fight could have started right there in Yamamoto’s office. Though, she also couldn’t help but notice that he was preparing to attack himself, but would he? Would Yamamoto really start a fight in closed quarters? It was not the ideal battle ground, little room to move even if the office they currently stood in was spacious. Did he want to damage his office? For now she simply pushed the thought aside and stood at constant attention, waiting to attack or defend if need be, and waiting for her Captain to give her explicit orders of action before simply just doing something that could potentially cause more harm than good.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=style, height: 200px; width: 480px; background-color: #000000;][atrb=valign,top] The calm before the storm is nearing... "You do not need to worry, we are the only Arrancar here."Zelena sighed and shook her head, the hostility was becoming too much for her liking, despite having seen it coming. Yamamoto's rather vicious stance was telling her that he was planning to strike them at any moment; if they were not careful things would escalate rather quickly. She didn't want that to happen, she was not in the mood to raise her own hand against his but she would if she needed too. Hell, she didn't even bring her zanpakuto with her, and if one took the time to pay attention they would notice that. Her eyes returned to gaze back at the Head Captain, an annoyed look in her eyes but otherwise they were clear of any ill intent, convincing them was going to be harder than she would have liked.
”My name is Zelena Angelis, and I currently lead the Espada.” Those were the words that would, no doubt, cause her the most trouble throughout this entire venture. Now she needed to quickly get to the reason for their unexpected visit, lest the old man attempt to strike her dead where she sat. ”I have come here to offer our assistance, Head Captain, for I know of the other enemy.” She waited not for the reaction to who she was, there was no longer time for a dramatic pause or to let much of anything sink in. No, now that he knew who she was, this needed to be done quickly.
”Neither of us need the other against them right now, not when there are enemies out there that possibly surpass both of our armies strengths. And neither of us is capable of fighting off two threats at once, even if we have the utmost confidence in the strength of our men. So, why don’t we combine our efforts and call a truce?” There it was, the offer was on the table, and now it was time to make her case. After all, she couldn’t expect him to agree without giving a reason for him to, it would be like trying to sell someone a stick and not telling them the reasons why they needed it.
”I know Hueco Mundo and Soul Society have never been on good terms and probably much less so after Aizen, but would you prefer having to fight two enemies at once? Or risk the chance that we could ally ourselves with the others? And we came to you first; shouldn’t that tell you we wish not to group with those other beings? I believe it is in both our best interests to join forces and fight this enemy together.”

Yamamoto heard his lieutenant make the message for the hell butterfly which would send Yamamoto's commands to the other captains. That message will have to do. The message the lieutenant portrayed did not necessarily line up with what the captain had in mind, but it would still alert the two captains. As long as they arrived to the room sometime soon, the Head Captain could continue with what he had in mind. His stance remained firm as the seated arrancar blatantly continued to try to downplay the intensity of the situation. Her eyes did not help in her "diplomatic" endeavor, since the seasoned captain could easily pick up her irritation. He did not mind her dislike of the situation: the unwelcoming response to her actions by Yamamoto did not occur by accident.
Zelena spoke to him with factual points driving her proposal. Both herself and he knew neither of their factions could withstand the strain on their numbers if they tried to fight their rival and the new threat. They would have to ignote one, and focus on the other. This interchange showed she had done such negotiations before considering she said they wished to "offer their assitance" and not to solicit Seireitei's help. A solid point, one which would make another person understand the Hueco Mundo Ruler's point. Yet this logical point made Yamamoto disregard her visit and her arguments. The rest of her speech continued to add salt to the wound she did not know she formed in the first and only head captain of the long standing Gotei Juusan's pride. He had just watched on the sidelines as a human saved the institution made to protect humans. Now the primordial enemy of Seireitei wished to hold the Shinigami's hand through a new enemy. Has the Gotei Juusan become such a mockery?
"The Gotei Juusan does not need the aid of pests like your lot." Yamamoto declared in his usual, raspy voice, not elevating it louder than 10% of its usual strength. This decision took no time for him. The time where Ichigo helped could not compare to this situation, since Yamamoto never got the chance to stop Ichigo. Having no authority over Ichigo's actions only hardened the old man's heart to resist outside aid. Yamamoto solely founded Seireitei; Yamamoto singe-handedly trained most of the first shinigami; Yamamoto would not submit himself into anyone's debt by asking for their aid. Accepting this offer would mean he feared the new threat so much, he would resort to any means, including recruiting help from an enemy. He could never leave such a legacy; it would ruin him.
A conniving sneer crawled over the mouth of Sotaicho. "Besides, you said you are the current leader of Hueco Mundo. You have just made it easier for me to eliminate one of the factions early." With that statement, the flames locked within the depths of Ryujjin Jakka roared to life, bursting out of the katana and activating his shikai. Yamamoto ignored his lieutenant's position; she had enough mind to stand back in the presence of the strongest fire-type zanpakto, and arguably one of the strongest zanpakto in Soul Society. In a heartbeat, Yamamoto outputted all of his speed into an incredibly fast flashstep which landed him about a meter away from Zelena while swinging his burning blade in a diagonal downward slash aiming to have the blade rip through her left shoulder all the way down to her right hip. The flames sprawled out powerfully so if the seated arrancar avoided the blade somehow, the fire would still burn her and possibly the rest of the room.

When Zelena saw the flames of Yamamoto’s zanpakuto she didn’t even flinch, not even the intense heat made her bat an eyelash; she appeared to be unphased. Not that his power certainly wasn’t intimidating, she just didn’t find it necessary to fret. When Yamamoto was five feet away Zelena sonido’d from her chair, sadly though his blade cut close enough for a small scratch in her clothing, but it was no issue. To take care of the flames Zelena simply spiked her reiatsu to its highest, hopefully extinguishing all of the residual flames left over from his attack. When everything had settled Zelena simply sighed and shook her head, turning to face the Head Captain since when she had dodged she had her back to him.
”The same is true for me, Head Captain, yet I did not even bring with me my zanpakuto. That should have been a sign that my visit here was strictly in the interest of peace, not an all-out war.” She spoke calmly, her arms crossed over her chest now as she spoke. ”But if you wish to play dirty…” Turning now to Raijin, expression impassive. If the Head Captain wanted a fight, by all means he could have one; of course she wished to avoid such a situation but it seemed he would have nothing of it.
”Raijin-san, go back to Hueco Mundo and gather the rest of the Espada and any available Fraccion you can find and tell them to prepare for battle. If I am not back soon, lead them into battle and take out as many Shinigami as you can. And bring me back my zanpakuto.” Now that the order had been given she turned back to Yamamoto and Kizo, still wearing her impassive expression; no one would really be able to tell what she was thinking past her poker face. She didn’t wish for it to come to something like this, but hopefully there was still a chance. Hopefully Raijin knew to set things up in case of a possible preemptive strike.
”If fighting is something you wish to do, then I will not show you any mercy. However, let us think like rational beings instead of simply attacking like that. Enemies we may be, but I gave no such reason for your assault.”

Do you have a Light? Can you make me feel Alright? Plenty of Light to go Around The Segunda Espada tried his best to pay no mind to the lieutenant, considering her of no threat or importance within this current moment. He had to focus solely on the Head Captain. His reputation was well known between the arrancar, passed down over the years. He was the strongest Shinigami, after all. His pose remained calm, however. His eyes were locked onto Yamamoto, refusing to look away as Raijin tried to follow the old man's every move. This was why when the Head Captain summoned his zanpakuto, that the espada was already diving to the side, thinking more so of saving himself. He knew his queen would be okay. He was more worried about getting out of this situation alive.
The flames singed his heels slightly, the intensity enough to do so even with some distance. he shielded his core, curling into a ball to try to deal with the heat better. After the flames diminished thanks to his Zelena, he uncurled, collapsing. He rested there for a minute, listening to his queen. He jumped up at his beckon, bowing towards the Espada Lord. Even at such a dangerous time, Raijin refused to show disrespect to his superior.
"As you wish, my queen" he responded, quite happily. He wanted nothing more than to get out of there. It wasn't that he didn't care for Zelena, he was just more selfish than loyal. He would never betray her, but if it came down to who lives or die, Raijin would easily choose himself. It was part of the nature that came from any hollow. The weak die, the strong live. If it is your time, than it is your time. He couldn't afford to be turned to ashes by the strongest fire zanpakuto in existence.
It only took another moment, before Raijin raised his palm towards the wall closest to himself and Zelena. "Cero" He uttered softly, a teal ball of energy forming in his palm. After a few seconds, it was fired and demolished the wall. He followed it shortly, using the destruction and confusion of the blast to try and get away. He moved back towards their origin, and once in a secluded and safe enough spot, he opened a Garganta to follow the orders.
