It was an agreed on fact that she would not do her Bankai again on an empty stomach, it was something she needed to do at full energy and a full stomach which she hadn't been at either. Since not only had she skipped breakfast but also woken up early to make sure she had gotten all her work done. She replied back to Rukia about the little trip soon after she thanked her. "Really, it is no problem. Please, anytime you need a little time away, don't hesitate to ask. Maybe next time we can take a picnic into the book. Perhaps will have dinner on the Eiffel Tower? Or eat while watching a bloody gladiator fight? Or we could even watch and experience the fight of the final three-hundred Spartans against their Persian menace?" She laughed, recalling a few stories she had read with what she had mentioned in it. As she picked up another piece of sushi, dipping it in the soy sauce and plopped it in her mouth. Looking across to Rukia as she was happy about the windowless and sound proofed room. Saying it was nice to know as she only gave a small smile.
As she continued to dig into the appetizer and sip tea. Ten minutes came and went with much tea sipping and appetizer eating as their main course was brought out. Sweet and sour chicken, a sea food delight with crab, fish, and veggies, along with a teriyaki beef. All of them placed in separate bowls. Two large bowls of raced were also placed before Rukia and Rin along with an empty plate for each to take pieces from either of the bowls. Rin clapped her hands together. "Eat up!" She said, as she grabbed pieces from all three and piled them onto her plate. Plenty enough for Rin and Rukia, as she went to the motions of refilling both their teas again. Taking a few bites before she spoke. "You'll have to keep in mind of some places that you'd like to visit for our next trip. Make sure to tell me the book in advance so I can make sure I've read it!" She said, as she then suddenly took another bite and followed it with a sip of tea. "Although, as you can see from my extensive library, I might have already read it." She said with a chuckle, as she continued to dig into the meal.
It was good to see that Rukia was much happier after their trip. That was what she really needed, to get away from it all, in a place where literally no one could bother either of them on their little adventure. Rin was happy to see Rukia smile, and it seemed what ever had been bothering her was no longer on her mind. "I am glad we were able to go on the adventure. Your one of the few that has been fortunate enough to come on that journey with me. A home away from home if there ever was one." She said, her body visibly happy as she continued to stuff away food. Rukia, more than likely had heard of the Captains famous appetite, and how she could clean entire tables of food by herself if she wished it.

~Rukia sat there quietly, munching on the sushi and rolls, sipping her tea and remembering what all she had seen in Avalon. It had been a really amazing trip and she was actually glad Rin suggested and took her, she felt a little bit more relaxed which lately hadn't been the case. Munching on another roll she looked up hearing Rin offering another smile, raising a brow at some of the suggestions before softly laughing.~"Hmm the Eiffel Tower lunch sounds really cool, I might actually have to take you up on that one. But yea we both need to remember to bring food, otherwise we will be screwed smelling it." ~Softly laughing as she thought about how good that food smelled and than shook her head, licking her lips some before taking another sip of her hot tea. Trying to think of some stories that might be interesting to see for themselves. Although she could think of some rather fun ones to try maybe, just for some laughs, and tried to remember some she read or had heard about even. Though she knew some might be a little odd, still she went over the list in her mind, before suggesting the main one she had been thinking about.~
"You know, perhaps after Paris we could try something fun, like Alice in Wonderland. Just to see and probably get a good laugh as well. Or hey you can always suggest something you read I don't mind jumping into really any story, just to get away for awhile.." ~Shrugging some after she spoke before seeing the main course arriving and smiled. It smelled as good as the appetizer and she was still very hungry. So with one last sip of tea, she reached her plate over and put a little of it all on to try. Adding what she still had of their appetizer and she was now set.~ "Man this looks fantastic Rin thank you for getting it for us. Can't believe how hungry I ama right now." ~Popping some crap into her mouth and brushing her lips with her tongue. Trying really just a little of it all and some rice of course. Pouring herself another cup of tea as well. Thrilled so far since coming back, neither of them were being called for anything.~ "I certainly will, but as I said if you have one you want to show me, by all means. I'sure with the look of that collection you have read a great many stories and I don't mind sharing with you. I mean Avalon was my choice so you pick next time, I'm sure you will have me popping in once more looking for some place to get away."
~Going back to her food, she was starting to feel better and rather hoped it lasted, although she had a feeling it wouldn't. Sighing softly, she put some beef into her mouth just as Rin spoke and offered a brief nod, before smiling some. Glad to have another person she could call a friend, not that it helped Rin had this awesome skill. Rin herself was an interesting person to talk to, so they didn't have go anywhere, Rukia could actually seem them spending time just talking randomly.~

It was nice to see that Rukia liked her suggestions of the Eiffel Tower, or lunch on the Eiffel tower to be specific. Glad to see the suggestion was well appreciated and followed with a light laugh afterwards since they couldn't eat anything in the worlds she created, at least, not yet they couldn't. Then Rukia suggested that perhaps after Pairs they could do something fun, like try Alice in Wonderland, although the idea did sound fun, she couldn't help but be reminded of Rukia's Captain at the mention of Alice in Wonderland, since that was something he had actually suggested himself. Although she brushed it off, giving Rukia a light life and agreeing with her that it sounded like something fun, and she didn't mind going anywhere Rin wanted to go. The man course had came, and Rin had already been digging into it and Rukia said everything looked fantastic and mentioned once again how great everything looked.
Then she mentioned again that she didn't care where the two went, as long as it was fun, and it was almost promised fun since there was so many worlds they could explore in a variety of books. All she could do was nod as she had her mouth full with food, as she kept plucking several more pieces off several other platters. As she was thinking to herself of books they could visit then one finally came to mind. "You know, what about a world like.. Lord of the Rings? Or maybe more in particular, The Hobbit? I've always wanted to see a dragon, and I've always wanted to see all that gold." She said with a grin as she drummed her fingers on the edge of the table at the thought as she continued to devour the food. "Those are actually two books I have yet to visit, and I am really wondering why now. The land of the dwarves, smaug and all his stolen treasure. Mhm... it sounds wonderful..." She murmured out at the thought as she grabbed an egg roll and got up quickly from her seat. Going around to the book shelves and quickly finding the book she was looking for. Which was a illustrated copy of places from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Putting the book on the table for Rukia to see. "Ah, I am getting excited, I almost wish I could take us there right now, table and all. "
She said, plunging more food into her mouth as she also took several sips of tea. As the rumors had gone, Rin was a garbage disposal for food. She could eat, eat, eat, and never gain a pound or lose her figure. Rukia was seeing first hand that the rumors were true, as a few smaller bowls of the same contents of the bigger bowls were brought in. Since there contents were quickly disappearing with Rin's unsalught of hungry towards them all. "Wow, I am super hungry." Rin said, with her mouth full with food. As she continued to plunge into all the bowls without much manners, the only reason being that Rukia was her friend and she liked to assume she didn't care how she held herself currently. Especially since they were on private and due to the little adventure that had just endured to Avalon.

~Rukia didn't even think about the fact, Ryou had talked about Alice in Wonderland, no she was just thinking about the various stories. It truly was like an amazing wonderland once you stopped and looked around, reading the details was one thing, but seeing them with your own eyes, witnessing it happening right than was just unbelievable. Rukia was still lost in her head, remember what they had seen just the short time in Avalon, wondering if perhaps later on they could go back. She had no issues returning and seeing more of that particular story, witnessing the fights. Shaking her head to clear her mind for now as she took another bite of roll before brushing her tongue along her lips. Lifting her eyes back to Rin before hearing her suggestion and smiling a little more.~"You know I would go for any of those stories as well, man I can't even stop thinking about where all we could go, just to get away."
~Smiling even more, she went back to her food, but now had a completely new list of books. It was like Christmas and she was just as gitty as any child on that wonderful morning. Arching her brow some when Rin mentioned never having visited and knew they both had to go, it would be just fantastic. Moving to take another bite of the beef, wanting to get food into her before she got to wrapped up talking. Which for Rukia at the moment was easy for her to do of course, munching and still her mind was reeling about everything. Laughing softly as Rin spoke of being excited, but couldn't help nodding in agreement.~
"Man you have given me so much to think about, I just don't even know where to pick. Perhaps we both should come up with a list or something than maybe we can see any similarities and go from there?" ~Questioning with a raised brow before turning her attention back to the food and let out a breath, relaxing into her chair for a moment. But it was clear Rukia right now was calm and rather enjoying this time, not once having thought about anything that was once bugging her.~

It was nice to see that Rukia was so flexible with her suggestions with stories. That she didn't mind going anywhere with Rin as long as they could get out and just get away from all the constant Chaos of Soul Society, and its paper work filled days. A pleasure to see that Rukia had been enjoying the food as much as Rin was. Also, she had gotten Rukia to think of places they could visit, and as Rin listened to her she continued to pile in the food and tea. Occasionally eye balling the sake, thinking that maybe it was a good idea she had lost her head in that accident all those years ago so people couldn't read her as easily. Finally after gorging herself with the main meal Rin finally put down her chop sticks. Remnants of the food on the serving plates, but in all honesty there was maybe enough left for a plate of food.
Snapping her fingers dessert plates were brought in, consisting of several different flavors of dango, along with several different flavors of pocky, and one of Rin's favorite, rice balls. A new tea was brought in, which was a tad bit more bitter, but was meant to contrast the sweetness of the dessert. Rin, grabbed some pocket and an rice ball. Idly biting at the pocky, they had been sitting in comfortable silence for the past few minutes, Rin decided she would speak. "My apologies Rukia, I think I've run out of things to say! I don't usually entertain guests, I'm usually just by myself most of the time." She said, as she bit down on another piece of pocket, her other hand holding an rice ball as she passed that up to her lips and took a bite out of it. A few rice bits clinging to her face, which looked odd, because it appeared they were just floating in mid air. Grabbing a napkin she brushed off the bits of rice before speaking again.
"Actually, another interesting book we could explore is Game of Thrones. I've always wanted to visit the wall, and see the little baby dragons of Danerys. That also sounds... quite amusing, although I've just started reading the first book, so there isn't a whole lot we can explore in that world yet." She really hoped she wasn't boring Rukia, she felt as if she was, even though she was enjoying herself. Enjoying the talking of books, the eating of food, and drinking of teas. It was something she was all used to doing by herself since it was a rare occurrence that anyone would ever come by and want to chat. She always ventured out of her office to go chat to the other Captains or members of the Gotei 13. Oh well, it was nice to have Rukia here, and she seemed content.

~Rukia was surprising herself with how relaxed, calm and content she was just for the moment. It was like she just completely forgot about the issues troubling her, or well pushed them aside is more like it. Taking another bite of rice and some beef, she smiled softly just enjoying having someone to visit with. To not have to think about all the crap and simple just have a moments peace. Eyes looking back to Rin as she sipped on the tea, licking her tongue out over her lips. Finally pushing her plate away feeling rather full, though when dessert came she smirked a little. Snapping up two pocky sticks and sipping on the new tea.~"Gah I can't remember when I ate this much food, but its so good, Rin. So no word to anyone and if you keep the pocky well I might be around more often."
~Giggling a little at her own words, Rukia leaned back relaxing once more sipping on some tea. Shaking her head when Rin apologized the pocky stick mid bit in her mouth, smiling some a little more.~ "Oh please your fine Rin, just sitting here enjoying the company, food and thinking about books is fine with me. So please don't worry." ~A genuine smile once again gracing the Lieutenants face as she finished off one of her sticks. Smirking some at the rice stuck to Rin's face, but didn't say or laugh. Honestly, she had forgotten about her lacking a head, it didn't really bother Rukia so why react?
When she spoke on another book idea, Rukia arched a brow. She'd heard of the book but never read those herself and lightly shrugged.~ "You know, why don't we try with the books we both listed, than go from there. We are going to have alot of place to explore and we might even need more than one trip to do so." ~Winking after before she giggled some than took to her second stick, sipping on the tea and letting her eyes close, relaxing into her chair and praying this could last. But knew she would have to leave soon, work and duty calling.~

Rin could only smile and give a gentle laugh as she watched Rukia snag two pocky sticks and sip on the new tea. Her response was priceless, and the only thing she did was nod and snicker as she ate her own desert. It was reassuring to see Rukia so relaxed and happy, glad that she was happy with the company she was giving her. As Rukia mentioned that they should try all the books that had been mentioned so far, and all she could do was nod in agreement. They had all the time in the world, hundreds of years they would live, and they could explore them all if they set their heart to it. "Well, Rukia, all we have is time, and there are plenty of books to explore. Millions of books to explore, all written by different people, in different times, and even while we are exploring books they are even new books being written and published! These books are our paradise, and we can visit any of them, almost anytime we want!" She said, as she made a new found vigor into her food. Devouring one of the many rice balls, as she also helped herself to a few sticks of pocky. Drowning it all down with a few sips of tea.
Finally, she had finished what she had on her plate, and she finally pushed the plates away. Giving herself a gentle pat on the belly, as she let out the quietest of burps, excusing herself as she then took another sip of tea. "Well, Rukia! Today as indeed been one of the funnest I've had in years." She said, her finger coming up to where lips would be as she traced a smile with a finger. "Before we part ways, I was wondering if there was anything we needed to discuss? I know you are much happier now that we have met, traveled, and eaten, but I'd like you to stay that way even when you leave! You can come to me any time with your problems Rukia, I am always here to help you, and you are truly, one of my only friends." She blurted out, feeling quite pippy as she finished off her cup of tea. Eying the saki bottle still as she finally grabbed it, popping the cork as she poured herself one glass. Sipping on it gently before placing it back down as she made a sigh of content. No better way to have a good time than with a little bit to drink, or that is what she believed. Recorking the the saki bottle, knowing she could only have one cup of it, and that would plenty get her buzz. Any more than that, and she would end up flirting with Rukia, she just knew it.

~Rukia, sat back enjoying her sweet snack, allowing the food and everything to just float away, honestly she was extremely content in that moment. Having had a very relaxing, fun trip with Rin, than a wonderful meal so she couldn't really ask for more right now. Sucking on the stick before opening her closed eyes to look at Rin, hearing her and smiled wide. Nodding in complete agreement, it was true they had all the time in the world to explore and have some aweseome adventures. Leaning her head back slightly, she once more closed her eyes feeling extremely relaxed and full. Definitely full, she had not eatten that much in a long time and all her body wanted to do was rest now. Great she was going to be lazy the rest of the afternoon, oh well Ryou didn't have much work for her and it was done quickly anyhow so she could afford it.~"Rin if I feel like this everytime we take a trip I'm gonna be in trouble."
~Finishing the second stick, she was sipping the tea when Rin spoke once more and she smiled. Looking over as the Captain patted her belly, shaking her head some though as she continued, Rukia couldn't help the smile fading some. Of course that subject would come back up once again now wouldn't it? Sighing softly, she sat the cup down, sitting up a little straighter and brushed her tongue out over her lips.~"Rin, thank you for this whole adventure and lunch, but I think I'm going to do something I should of before. Talk to my brother, but I will let you know if I need another ear and friend. Because I do consider you a friend." ~Pushing herself up she looked once more to the Captain and smiled.~ "Thank you again I did enjoy myself and remember you pick the next one. Now I think I will head back and take a nap." ~Bowing her head some to the captain in a show of respect before she moved to head for the door. Still feeling light and relaxed, but all this was making her consider Byakuya needed to know and she was finally agreeing with her own thoughts. Lets just pray it went alright.~

It seemed that even though all Rin wanted to do was hear Rukia out on her problems, that it wasn't nothing of her concern. Maybe the matter was private? Or maybe it had to do with her family? Rin really had no idea but it was glad to see that if the problem was severe enough that Rukia would take her up on her offer of an ear. Rukia talked about that she needed to meet with her brother and all Rin could do was nod in agreement. As she pushed herself up and out a she looked at her and smiled. Thanking her for the meal and that the next place she would get to choose where they went. Then she said she was leaving as she headed to the door. Rin quickly got up and flash stepped right in front of Rukia, and gave her a hug whether she wanted one or not. "It meant a lot that you came and spent time with me today and shared a meal with me. I hope we can do it again." She said, letting go of the hug and giving her a firm squeeze on the shoulder of reassurance. Then she walked past her and to one of her book shelves.
Grabbing a book before she sat back down. Idly reading it as she sipped on her tea. Glad to know that Rukia had a wonderful time, and that she had her paperwork done for the day. All it meant she had to do was sit here and read this book and wait for more paper work. Or maybe something else would come up. Perhaps someone would need Kido lessons? Or something else of the sort, oh well. Then again it could just keep being a peaceful day, she now almost wished she had a window in the room to let the breeze waft in, but the room was one of her secure rooms for secure conversation so it was okay either way. She sipped idly at the tea, and that was all there was to today.
