"Darn...I think I am lost again." The man sighs, rounding another corner in the halls of the massive fortress of Los Noches. He had been here for all of a week and he was already confused as to the entire layout. It's mazelike structure was very deceiving, and it would distract and confuse any enemy trying to infiltrate the place, yes. But that doesn't mean that they couldn't give their own kind some sort of map or compass to navigate this area.
He sighed, before his ears perked, his emerald eyes darting towards the sound of voices down the hall. It was only a faint echo, but it was meant that he was by someone, at least. He smirked, and began to stroll towards them. If he could at least talk to the person, maybe he could get a hang of the land's layout.
He followed the voices to the best of his abilities, walking down the same boring halls that he couldn't tell the difference of. The sound of the voices grew louder as he walked, and he began to pick up his pace, before entering an intersection. He frowned, the voices bouncing around and difficult to pick up, before he notices a few people walking down the hall, or was it one person? He couldn't really tell, they were a good distance away. He smirked, feeling relief wash over him as he made a beeline for the person. "Excuse me?" He calls, moving a little faster.

"Neh! Where are you going?!" Rou called after whatever she had been chasing. It was another one of those things only Rou was able to see or notice. Funny how those things seemed to work out. This time she had finally spotted the Specter spirit that she had bee hunting down in Las Noches. She hadn't really been doing much, just walking around chasing something she had long since forgotten about. She had been following this new spirit down the hallways, getting herself good and mixed up, far from where she had started off. Some time back she had slowed to a walk, talking with the spirit for some time as they walked together through the halls, getting back to being a little less lost. Rou was a wonderful guide for it. Suddenly though it shot off along the wall like it was scared or something. Rou furrowed her brow, looking of in the direction it had gone with her hands upon her hips, clear questioning on her face. Maybe it sensed a Poltergeist nearby? Rou would have to check that out and take care of it if that was the case. She had to defend her castle against even ghosts.
Just then she heard a voice. So that was it. She looked over her shoulder just in time to spot Ghenaro come around the next corner. So the spirit had been chased away becasue some one else came. It must have been really scared of others. Only Rou was understanding enough to be accepted by the spirit. So this guy had chased it away.
The espada turned around fully, her arms crossed over her chest and a pout on her face. "You made it go away" she told him, sounding extremely disappointed. She didn't exactly noticed the fact that he wouldn't even know what she was talking about or what he had scared away. She was simply expecting some kind of apology. "You can't just sneak up on spirits" she told him, giving him some clue as to what he had done wrong. "I'll have to go back and find him later. He's probably really scared. They don't mean any harm they just like watching us" she explained, not exactly aware of the fact she sounded rather delusional at that moment. People should have known what she was talking about all the time. He was sneaking up to scare it away probably! that wasn't nice at all.
"Neh, who are you anyway?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side. He should have been familiar but right now he wasn't. Little did she know it was her own new fraccion. She had barely hear about him so recognizing him wasn't exactly going to be easy for her, who could barely focus on the people she already knew as it was. There was no way she was going to remember some scarce details about a man she hadn't even met yet.
"You should come help me find it so you can apologize to it" she suddenly stated with realization. Maybe now that she had explained he better understood why he should have been sorry. She closed the distance between them, reaching out to take his hand before turning around and giving his arm a tug to follow her. Maybe she didn't have the best meeting skills. That wasn't really her biggest concern ever though. She was already an oddball in Las Noches. That was hardly going to change now. Why care abut such things when there was an upset spirit? She didn't even relize she was so strange really.

Ghenaro blinked as he approached, the person turning around to reveal a young woman. She looked almost too young, maybe in her late teens, but before 18? He frowns, a little confused to this, but judging from the large amount of reiatsu she was emitting she was definitely higher than him, much higher. Perhaps she was an Espada? He frowns in thought as he tries to close the distance with her. Then, as he finally almost reaches her, she says something that makes him pause. Made it go away? He frowns in confusion, standing quite a few inches above her. "E-Excuse me?"
She then says that he scared the spirit away, and his eyes widen in confusion. "Spirits..miss?" He blinks. Spirits? Here? He frowned in confusion. Spirits didn't live here, he didn't even think they existed, unless she was talking about Pluses. And that would be impossible, it would be devoured the moment it entered here. After all, this was the home fort of the Hollows and Arrancar. Any Shinigami, Human or Plus that managed to find there way in here would be in serious trouble, and most likely would perish.
He blinks and snaps to attention as she asked him what he was doing here. "Oh..well, you see I got lost looking around. This place is a maze, and unfortunately I'm not really sure where anything is.." He chuckles gruffly as his green eyes gaze down upon her. There was something familiar about her, now that he was closer, but he just couldn't pin it down. His face shifts to an unreadable line, before he dismisses it. A small smirk returns. "Would it trouble you to tell yo-" He begins, before she reaches out and takes his hands. She begins to tug and drag him away, towards another hallway. She said something about apologizing to the spirit, and the line drifted back onto his face. He would usually say something about this, or try to get out, but he figured it was best not to upset this one. He nodded silently and went along as she pulled him.

Rou was pleased when he willingly followed her without any complaints. She turned down a few hallways not saying much of anything. However it was clear she wasn't just calmly taking a stroll. Her steps were fast, almost skipping. She wasn't one to really slow down, or calm down for that matter. She looked back over her shoulder every now and then, flashing a big, sweet smile back at her new friend. He seemed alright. He understood enough to know why he had to come with her. At least she thought he did. She didn't exactly catch on that he was just following her because his fate would probably be worse if he didn't.
Suddenly she stopped though, not exactly giving any warning for the male following her to not just run straight into her. Rou turned around fully, still not letting go of his hand. "You never did say your name did you?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side slightly. She looked a bit disappointed really. She liked to know the names of those she was around, even if she would never use them anyway. Nicknames were her preferred terms but still. It was nice to kind of know somebody's name.
"Though I guess I haven't introduced myself either..." Finally she let go of his hand, as she spoke to herself. She smiled brightly before turning and lunging a few steps, spinning on her toes to face him again. She placed her hands on her hips, pushing her chest out and standing as tall as she possibly could. The arrancar stood there a moment, not saying anything, just having a proud, more serious look on her face. She really looked like an entirely different person, much more mature and heroic. "I am Rou Alloway! Th Protector of Light and The Hero! Zelena's most trusted knight! Tercera Espada!" She announced, keeping up her little heroic introduction act for only a moment later before she got her childish grim back, her shoulders going lax before she skipped back over to him, leaning forward and looking up at him with big, shining, green eyes. "So who are you?"
It would have seemed most normal for her to just stand there and wait for him to tell her a name but when had Rou really been normal? She stood up straight again, spinning around on her heels. The espada took large, slow strides across the walls of the hall they were currently in. Each time she reached a new hallway she poked her head in, looking around the surface of the walls for her lost specter friend. She didn't travel more than twenty or so yards per trip, just more or less deciding she wouldn't waste time. That and standing all that still was all kinds of difficult for her. She was still listening for him to speak though. Or well...she was trying to. It was so hard to pay attention sometimes! Especially when she was worried about her spirit. What if it went and ran into those meanies Colin or Rafeal. Hopefully it wouldn't find the Baron. That guy would probably cook it up to summon up vampiric fruit. She hated vampiric fruit!

Ghenaro blinked as the strange girl began to drag him down the hallways, seeming cheery and satisfied by his answer. He watched her, and a small smile crossed his face. Her happiness, and general randomness were strange indeed. But it was amusing to watch her have so much spirit and be so preppy. And it was kind of nice, since usually Hollow's didn't really have innocence like this, especially when they became the monsters they always are. It was a nice change of pace.
He almost didn't notice her stop abruptly, but managed to stop in time. Another few steps and he would have run into her, and that might not have gone over so well, especially when he couldn't tell how this girl would act. She asked that he had never said his name, and he frowned. "No I didn't. I apologize, I didn't mean to." She then spun around, and stated that she hadn't said her name either, to which she didn't. She then stopped, turning around, and began a dramatic spin and silence, smiling brightly, before stating that her name was Rou Alloway, Tercera Espada.
Ghenaro froze. Rou Alloway...Rou Alloway...why did that sound so familiar? He internally scolded himself, for if he hadn't been so distracted dealing with the fact that he was lost, his mind might be more on track right now. But, he wouldn't disrespect this Espada, he should be polite and offer his own name. He smiled, nodding. "A pleasure to meet you miss. My name is Gheraro, Ghenaro Verrall. I am Numeros 49, and I have only recently arrived in Los Noches, about a week ago."

Rou pasued in her searching, stopping in front of one hallway, looking around it with curious eyes. She looked like she was spacing out, not even listening until she suddenly perked up, turning to face the other arrancar. "Ah! So you're new here! That must be why I didn't recognize you!" she ran up to him, taking his hand once again. Even in her excitement of realization she still had that impossible task in her head. She tugged on the tall man's arm again, a sign that he needed to go back to following her again.
She went back to the hallway she had been standing in front of, stopping there again with a wary look on her face. "I think it might have gone down this hall. Its a lot darker than the rest. A specter would like that right?" She looked up to him, expecting some kind of an answer like he would really know. She only gave him a moment to give her an answer before she gave her own fast nod before she darted off down the hallway, her hand still firmly holding that of Ghenaro, likely dragging him along once again without a care in the world or the slightest thought that maybe she was being a bit too rough.
She thought as she ran down the hallway, knowing that for some reason she should have known the name the man gave her. But why? Why was it she knew it from somewhere...? Just like before, Rou came to a sudden halt, again oblivious to the fact that she was tossing Ghenaro around like a rag doll. She turned around, bouncing up and down on her toes with an excited look of realization. She let go of his hand, instead placing both of her hands upon his shoulders to help her jump even higher with the aid of his towering height.
"Neh! Neh! I know you!" she exclaimed with joy, stopping her joyous, energetic jumping. She took a step back, crossing her arms over her chest and standing proudly again. "Zelena told me about you coming! You're supposed to be one of my fraccion! You will be joining me in fierce battles of justice to protect our kingdom and take down the forces of evil and have our names go down in history as strong, amazing warriors and we will bask in glory and we will be feared by all of our enemies and...." her words had been racing in her excitement. Rou lost track of what she saying though and eventually she just ran out of things to say or add on to the big picture of what she would be doing.

Ghenaro blinked, and chuckled softly, a small smirk appearing upon his face at her reaction. She grabbed his hand again, and began to pull him down the hallways yet again. Such a strange one. When she asked him where the specter might be, he blinked. "I-I suppose." She didn't even seem to take a moment to listen, just quickly nodding and dragging him along like a child's plaything again.
After a minute, she stops yet again. This time Ghenaro didn't manage to stop in time, and bumped into her lightly. "Sorry..." he begins, before she spins around, excited. She became to claim that she knows him, which makes him cock his head, before his eyes widen as she exclaims that he is her Fraccion. His eyes widen as realization sets in. Of course, that's why her name had been familiar! She was his new master, according to the Espada. He blinked, as she rambled and went on excitedly about the things they would do, until it seemed she ran out of things. He let's her finish, before bowing. "Yes, I am honored to serve you, Alloway-sama."

Alloway-Sama? Rou's face lit up at that. She squealed loudly, leaping forward and grabbing Ghenaro's hand again with a new giggle of happiness. She gave him a pull, instructing him to get up. "Neh~ I like you Ghenny~" She gave another pull just for good measure. "I think the Specter will like you now too! I bet he'll even keep the poltergeists away from you! Cause you know he'd watching somewhere. They always do" She assured him with a firm nod. Rou released his hand, turning around and jogging forward a few steps. She leaned forward, peering down the dark hallway before she suddenly got a joyous look and straightened up, waving her hand up in the air as it waving to some one. Any one could clearly see there was nothing there to be waved at though. Still though when she looked back at Ghenaro over her shoulder her facial expression told that she expected him to do the same thing.
"I told you not to worry about the people here!" she called down the hall, lowering her hands and swinging her arms around her sides. "We're the good guys after all" It seemed she was talking to the spirit from before that would still pretty much be impossible to be seen by anyone except the heroic espada. It was really there though! Really it was! At least in Rou's mind it was... That was definitely good enough for her though.
"Neh! Isn't that right Ghenny? We're the good guys. The very best of the good guys too!" she spun around to face him, a childish look of happiness on her face. Surely he must have realized by now that he was well on his way to became a hero right along side her right? Of course he was. Anyone Rou deemed good would become a hero with her. And Ghenaro couldn't be like that meanie Colin. He always told her that they weren't really heroes, that they were really be bad and she was just lost in some fantasy land. There was no way that was true! Still though her smile seemed to falter as she thought about it. Ghenny couldn't possibly think that way too.

Ghenaro looked up and smiled at the childish squeak and smile of Rou. She seemed so alive at it...this would definitely be very different than what he expected from working for an Espada, that is for sure. When he thought of the Espada, he usually thought of serious, strong people. But when he saw this child, he was surprised, and actually a little happy. This might not be so bad after all.
She grabbed his arm, and pulled him up, talking about the spirit again. She nodded, and let go, walking to the hall and peering down it. He blinked as she waved, and looked back at him. He chuckled softly, and raises his hand in a small wave to the spirit he can't see. He then paused, as she said they were the good guys, and he frowned. He...had never been a good guy, he thought. He had always been a predator, and a tricky and deceitful one at that. He would intimidate and scare the weak, to get a jump on them, and intimidate and surprise the strong to flee. But a good guy? He usually wouldn't call such a person as a good guy.
She then turns to him, and asks him that we are the good guys. He pauses again, the frown drawing into a line. Her smile faltered as he watched, and a frown appeared on his face. Something began to bug him at that faltering smile. He liked the childlike wonder Rou brought wherever she went, the happiness. And seeing that frown...he didn't like it much. He liked her better when she was happy. He walks over slowly, and bows, smiling. "Yes, Alloway-sama. We are the best heroes there could be."

| | Rou was as good as new as soon as Ghenaro said those words to her. Her face lit up full force and her smile took back its beaming glow of innocent happiness. Of course Ghenaro would know they were the heroes. Zelena would only give her the most noble and heroic of warriors to fight under her command because in the end it would be Rou who was left to defeat all the evil in the world and defend what was right and just. She needed to have the most heroic followers she could get. Her Queen was so amazing, always knowing how to do things perfectly and knowing who among her knights would lead the victory.
"I'm glad you know that Ghenny. You'd be surprised how many of the others just don't realize it" She sounded surprised by that fact. Rou shrugged her shoulders. How none of them seemed to realize they were the good guys was beyond her. She got it. Raijin got it. Falien and now even Ghenaro understood it. Ever good side had to have its pessimistic bunch though. Maybe the one for the espada was just a bit of a really big one.
"Neh now that the specter knows that you're an okay guy you can probably come here any time and talk to it" she said happily, walking back over to Ghenaro with a bounce in her step as her arms swung at her sides. She gave a final leap, landing just a few inches in front of the other arrancar, looking up at him with a big smile. "But I think it wants to be left alone right now. It probably needs some time to calm down. Its really afraid of some of the others" She almost sounded like she was sad for it, looking back over her shoulder with a rather straight face. That didn't last long of course. "But I make sure its okay! Nothing will ever happen to it while I'm around" She told Ghenaro in a matter-of-factly manner, looking really proud of herself.
She reached up and placed a hand upon his shoulder. In no time at all she was up in the air, flipping over his head while her other arm lopped around his neck. She clinged to him, making sure not to put too much pressure right on his throat as he supported her small weight. "It will probably get upset if we don't leave soon" She gave a tug on Ghenaro, shifting her weight in a way that would tell him to turn around as she hooked her legs around his midsection. So maybe he hadn't really offered to carry her but that wasn't exactly a thought in her mind right now.

Ghenaro's own smile grew as Rou's smile returned, her positive outlook set back on track with his words. He paused slightly as she looked happy, thinking for a moment. Was it really like him to believe that he was a hero? Or that he could see the spirits she saw, if they even existed? Of course not, he thought himself only a person, no hero, and he definitely did not see any spirits. But, that did not mean he couldn't lie to her about this. After all, as a Hollow, deceit had been his strong suit. He used it to kill and run away from more Hollows than he could count. It was in his nature, and in the nature of many Hollows, probably.
But the fact that it made his new master smile made him feel more at ease with it. If it made such a nice girl smile, wasn't that a good thing? He thought so. She smiled, and talked about how people didn't seem to accept they were hero's. That made sense to him in all honesty. She then began to talk about the spirit, and said that it didn't want to be bothered right now. She placed a hand on his shoulder, and to his surprise she was already flipping over onto his back, basically latching onto him. She gave him a tug, and he nodded, understanding. He paused, and waves towards wherever the spirit had last been seen, before heading in the direction Rou nudged him on. "So, where are we going, Alloway-sama?"

She rested her head on his shoulder, looking out over the hallway ahead of them, trying to figure out just where they were exactly. Sometimes it was hard to remember the paths down here. Sometimes it was especially hard for Rou when she was chasing ghosts. So when He asked when they were going she made a bit of a face. She pulled herself up, probably starting to choke the man but he could take it. She peeked her head out, looking around in front of them. She let herself fall back, pointing her hand out again to the left. "Go down that way" she ordered with a questioning tone.
That didn't seem right though. Suddenly Rou let go of her fraccion completely, grabbing Ghenaro's shoulder when she hit the ground, giving him a tug that told him to follow her. "Come on its supposed to be this way!" she shouted a lot more confidently this time. She ran down a series of hallways and when she finally reached the end..! It was a dead end.
She slowed down to a stop, looking at the white wall in front of her with a confused look on her face. How did that get there. "Neh! Ghen Ghen!" she looked back over her shoulder, a pout on her lips. "I think some one is trying to trap us in here." she explained, using that as her theory for why the walla that wasn't supposed to be there actually being there. She pointed at it, holding up a fist as she smiled widely with mischief. She then turned around, running at the wall, throwing her small fist forward and surprisingly the wall shattered with her strength. When the dust finally cleared, there was a wide opening leading right outside. Rou skipped out, bounding up onto a pile of rubble, standing there proudly as she turned around to look at him again. "Nobody can stop us though right?!"

Ghenaro waited patiently as Rou began to figure out where they were, or tried to at least. His eyes widened however as her arms began to choke him slightly as she pulled herself up to get a better look. His breathing was labored for a few moments before she dropped down, pointing down a hallway. He coughs lightly, and begins, before she changes her mind and makes him walk down another hallway. Even if she seemed to be fun, she didn't really seem to have her own sense of direction right now either. He sighs. "Oh well, just another thing to add to the list of things to do."
As they walked down the various hallways, Rou became more and more excited, feeling they were getting closer to the exit. And while it all looked the same to him, Ghenaro could feel his own excitement rise as well. Perhaps they would be able to get out of this endless maze and figure out where to head to after. With that, he frowned. "Alloway-sama, where exactly are we going after we get out of this maze?" He blinked as they reached a dead end, and sighed. He was about to turn around, before Rou punched the wall, destroying it. His eyes shot open, and a smile crossed his lips. "I guess I was right not to anger her, she is truly a powerful one, to be sure."

She hopped down from the rubble she had been standing on, skipping back to Ghenaro and taking hold of his hand once again. She smiled up at him, giving him a tug before letting go and bounding back up to her perch. "Nothing is going to happen is we keep standing around up here now is it?" she mused back at him, tapping her foot restlessly on the stones by around the opening she had created. She wasn't interested in standing around any longer.
"We can go out and hunt down fairies or something! It'll be fun and we can get some wishes!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down suddenly with a giggle. She didn't wait to check if he was following her before she leaped through the debris and crushed rocks to get out of the tower they had been in, her feet meeting sand where she instantly took off running, expecting her new fraccion to follow on to their next adventure. There was no time for resting in Rou's world.

Ghenaro blinked in a mixture of awe and a little fear as she punched through a wall without any problems whatsoever. It made him shudder a little to think of the damage she could possibly do if she had been angry or focused. Again, he silently congratulated himself for not angering the small Espada, too busy in his thoughts to notice Rou had run up and taken his hand again until she began to speak. He blinked, and nodded, a small smirk on his face. "Of course, Alloway-sama."
He cocked his head as she ran up to the hole, exclaiming that they would go capture some fairies, before heading out into the sands without so much as a pause. Her innocence again seemed to make Ghenaro smile softly, before he stepped up to the hole, and jumped after her, running as best he could. All in all, he guessed that he didn't mind at all that he was working for Rou. If anything, he would have a lot of interesting stories to gather and accumulate, and it would be quite fun. He bursts into Sonido to catch up, a small smile upon his face.
