It would seem at first that everything in this arena was just giant versions of their originals (flowers, blades of grass, trees, ect.). On the fifth post the combatants along with their weapons will grow nearly one hundred times the size they were, now making everything that was was giant to them, tiny. This makes hiding impossible. Also any attacks that were still in the air are not effected by the size change so they would remain the same small size. This doesn't count for techniques that surround their user. Shinda's eyes glanced around in amazement as he stepped forward into the arena. Everything was so large and so entrancing. The grass he usually walked on without a thought was now towering above him, creating a forest of green blades. Flowers rose up and blocked out light, creating giant shadows to traverse in. This giant place was the perfect place for a member of Squad 2 to use his training to good use. Shinda grins lightly. "Huh, who knew that in an arena there would be the advantage of cover."
His eyes turned and gazed upon his zanpakuto, clutching it's sheath tightly in his hands. He wasn't sure who he was fighting, and it made him very nervous. If he didn't know his enemy, and his enemy knew him, Shinda would be at a serious disadvantage. He just hoped that his girlfriend wasn't his opponent. It would be very awkward fighting her, and he wasn't even sure if he could fight her with all his heart. His eyes darted towards the direction of the other entrance, and waited for his opponent. "Whoever they are, I will just try my best, and then go drink." He grins.

Bjorn looked around the tournament arena. He took note of the overly large objects and how'd they'd be perfect for him to hide behind if his opponent was too dangerous. Looking at the guy made him not seem very threatened. It looked kind of like an easy win, but he knew to not underestimate anyone. This guy could be dangerous without looking the part.
Whatever it was, Bjorn knew he'd just try his best and not give up even if he was on his death bed. Winning was important right now, no matter if his life was on the line. He held up his batons in a defensive stance, shielding himself from a possible blow is opponent could produce. "Come at me, Bro." It was time to fight.

Shin blinked, eyeing the man in front of him. He didn't seem to be a Shinigami, judging from his reiatsu. And by appearance the guy definitely wasn't a Hollow or Arrancar. In fact Shin didn't have a clue what the guy was. But it didn't matter much in hindsight, an opponent was an opponent. And hey, this might end up to be similar to training against his teammates in Squad 2. Shin smiles at the man. "Shinda Chinmoku, 4th Seat of Squad 2. Let's have some fun, alright?"
As the man says to come at him, Shin frowns, and draws his zanpakuto. His eyes glance around the area, and he turns, Shunpoing a little ways into the forest. If he wanted to beat this guy, he was going to have to try his best at following the teachings he had learned under his Captain. "Where are you going, Shin? Fleeing from a battle that you can't flee from?" Ekibyou pipes up in his head. He sighs. "Not now, Ekibyou. I'm trying to do this like how my Captain taught me. I need to have a more advantageous position to fight."

Since Bjorn has not responded for over 72 hours, Shinda wins by default. This thread will be locked.
