| The sounds of rushing wind and the waves rhythmically falling against itself and washing onto the shore was all the sounds that was needed to calm any soul, hollow or not. It was the same for Chris, as he stood as still and silent as a statue, not moving. His lack of the need to breathe allowed him to have complete silence within himself so he could hear the mesmerizing sounds.
He was dressed in his usual Arrancar clothing; A full sleeved white coat, which had a trailing back hem that reached down to his ankles, white pants, a black belt and his zanpakutou sheathed and mounted on his left waist. His powder blue hair was in it's usual messy and spiky form, the sides and the back of the hair long while his bangs and other parts of his hair was medium in length. His blue eyes were currently closed, his face expressing peace and serenity. The sea infront of him was a lush color of light blue, similar to his hair. The air above the sea was sparkling, the setting sun over the horizon giving it a beautiful mix of colors as the droplets from the waves floated and sprinkled in the sky, dazzling their brilliance. He was standing at the edge of the dry beach, the waves only just not able to reach his feet. Behind him lay a 50 ft expanse of sand until it reached a dense jungle. To both of his sides, the beach extended into the horizon.
However, through the peace of the beach, he could sense something. He sighed, knowing that it was unavoidable that his relaxation would be short lived. "Whoever is out there, announce yourself." He said, his eyes opening as he turned his head towards the side where he could feel the pressure from. The wind from the sea infront of him was still washing over him like an endless soothing breeze. Was this the calm before the storm?

[/div] The sand sunk under each of his steps, dusting over his boots and getting caught in the laces, some of it even slipping uncomfortable into his shoes. Still though Ukyo kept walking on, enjoying how the breeze from the sea blew his hair around, rushing across his face. Yet it wasn't hard enough to be a disturbance, not knocking off his hat nor making keeping his eyes open a difficulty. It was silent except for the occasional soft wave. It was perfect here. There wasn't any fighting or bustling noise. It was perfect for him. Though it wasn't quite as perfect for that thing inside him that was whining nearly nonstop about how dull it was here. Ukyo ignored its pleads to go and find something to cut, no matter how loud it was ranting in his head. The quietness of everything else kept his nerves clear. 'You sense that nearby right? Just go after it.' It urged him. Of course he sensed what that voice was talking about. It was hard not to. Somewhere all too close there was a being with power that would rival his own. Ukyo hadn't really noticed before but he had been walking straight toward it. It could have been that far away anymore. 'Come on just go get it!' It barked which made Ukyo turn his head and glare at the sound with a not so quiet "Will you hush?!" By then though Chris had already noticed him and was looking in his direction as Ukyo kept walking. He had for sure shown himself but maybe he shouted the wrong thing at the wrong time, something he got a good mental snickering for. The bount stopped in his tracks, putting up his hands half way which he knew to be to common accepted sign that he meant no trouble. Still though he couldn't help that bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. As he drew closer he noticed the mask fragment on the male's face. That wasn't good. Ukyo narrowed his eyes knowing now what this man was and just how dangerous of a person he had stumbled upon completely by accident. Arrancars didn't exactly have the best of reputations for being peaceful. 'Let me handle it alright?' That voice urged with a bored tone. He already knew he was going to get his way. He just had to wait. And he didn't have to wait all that long. In just a moment Ukyo let himself slip and he stopped in his place, freezing up entirely. When he finally showed some motion again he leaned forward, his hands dropping forward. His stride started up again though now his feet crossed in front of on another, seeming instead rather playful than cautious. "This is going to be a fun one" he said, his voice suddenly different, darker and with more rasp in it. Yes it had seemed that other side of him had taken its chance at getting control and rushing into this fight. He raised his 'surrendering' hands a bit higher. Maybe a bit to high. In a flash he gripped the handle of his nagamaki while his other hand shot down to his waste to draw out his hunting knife. He pulled both black blades out in unison, pushing off in the sand at a speed that made him seem to vanish all together for a moment. He couldn't be gotten rid of so easily though, He appeared no more than two feet in front of the man, crouching in the air as he spun around, his arm extended to use his knife to cut right along the arrancar's face. Still though he wasn't quite done. He continued to spin, kicking out his leg to either add a hit to that cut or kick off from whatever might have gotten in his way. Either way he would flip backwards, landing harshly in the sand, deep tracks left from the souls of his boots as his slid to his stop. This Ukyo wasn't one for starting off slow it seemed. "Ah! Hello there Mr. Arrancar. Glorious day hm?" He taunted, placing a hand on his hip as he struck a pose of arrogance, letting the wind do the rest as it swept his long green hair around. He wasn't even looking at the man. Not yet. When he did though the crazed look of enjoyment in his green eyes was as evident as the darkly turned up smile on his lips. "Come on then" he dared, chuckling to himself. stats: han:20 rei:20 hak:25 sei:20 buk:30 hoh:25 ⋆ words 759 ✩ notes

| Chris turned around to face the man, tilting his head slightly. The man was as powerful as him, it seemed, which was extremely surprising. He also seemed conflicted, somehow. Like he was having an internal quarrel. But Chris knew that something was up. This man showing up here wasn't just random coincidence. He stayed on his guard, especially since this man looked so conflicted.
And that was the best move Chris could've taken. The man's aura seemed to change within an instant, turning downright malicious, as Chris instantly tensed himself. As if in slow motion, Chris saw Ukyo suddenly appear, the knife flashing towards his face. Chris leaned back, his body slowly bending backwards as his face turned on it's side. Agonizingly slowly, the blade came close to his face, making a small cut along his mask-fragments at the right side of his face, sparks flying as a grinding noise was emitted from the contact. As the knife flashed away, time seemed to go back to normal, as he drew his zanpakutou instantly, using it's flat side to block the kick that was coming at his legs. He then raised his zanpakutou but the man had already moved away.
There was no doubt. This man was as strong as he was, more or less. He wouldn't waste his energy and health to fight the man to find out more. He'd take this man out quick and fast. His reiatsu suddenly exploded outward like an explosion, the sand at his feet cratering away as he actually caused waves in the water to head the other direction, out to sea, heading outward from him. Wind was roaring all around Christian, who seemed to not mind he. He raised his sword, his left hand closing at the base of the blade. The blade was glowing blue now, as Chris roared out:
"HOWL, FENRIR!"
Bluish white reiatsu exploded outwards from Christian, completely engulfing him and everything within 20 ft of him in the explosion. As it passed away, Christian was revealed to be in his ressurreccion. His reiatsu was flaring skyhigh, enough to cause a sand storm to originate from him. He was floating, the ground under him having already turned into an upsidedown dome. He held his black sword at his side, the words 'Redemption' written clearly on it's blade.
At this point, he should've said something dramatic. Nope. Dramatic words usually allowed the opponent time to do stuff. Instead, he instantly rushed Ukyo, appearing infront of him. With full speed, he slashed horizontally along Ukyo's waist, right to left, his dexterous hands spinning the blade completely around his hand once to shift the momentum and manipulate it at the end of his slash. Then, he slashed again, this time left to right in a diagonally upward way, the black blade flashing like a fragment of night in deadly elegance. As his arm went up at the finishing of the slash, his muscles rippling, he used the same inertia to aim a roundhouse kick at Ukyo's left side with his left leg, enough speed to cause a fissure to crack into the sand as his leg moved.
After his combo, he used his Sonido to go back, his mouth already charging a Cero, his fangs bared. He aimed it at where Ukyo currently was and fired a Cero Clamoroso at Ukyo. The Cero, dark red in color, pulsed out energy circles as it travelled towards Ukyo. As soon as it got close enough, it split into seven different wolves, each jumping around in the air in an extremely random way as they came towards Ukyo from different directions, making a half-crescent wall of cero wolves dash at him from his front.

[/div] There was a sudden blast of reiatsu, enough that is made Ukyo's hair whip around him wildly. It wasn't until a few moments later that it actually calmed down, allowing those strand to settle back over his shoulders, back down out of his face which was revealed to have a crazed look of excitement, wide eyes and a smile to match. Oh this was going to be a fun one. "Too cool to talk huh?" he taunted to a rather silent Christian, placing his hand upon his hip and sticking it out like he was all but impressed with that blazing reiatsu the man was giving off. "Not even going to give me a name to write in my diary? So mean~" He started to roll his eyes but about halfway through that Christian yelled something and by the sudden appearance of that visible reiatsu, he doubted it was meant for him. He was releasing his zanpakuto.. Ukyo actually became serious for a moment. getting his blade ready for whatever was going to be revealed to him when that reiatsu cleared out. He had let his guard slip a little bit and the time he actually managed to see Christian in this new form was when he was just a few feet ahead of him, sword already flying out toward him. Shit. For once he was glad to have his other have an odd like of a nagamaki. He brought it down, allowing Christian's blade to be slowed by its extra long handle as he leaned back at the same time, getting a bad scratch as opposed to the less desirable outcome of getting gutted right away. When he made his second slash, Ukyo was better prepared, having already started flipping his nagamaki around in his hand, letting the blades clash this time as he pushed down, allowing Christian's force to push him up into the air. He hadn't realized how good of a choice he had made until he felt something sweep by under hiw feet. That arrncar had tried to land some kind of kick which he had narrowly escaped. He let out a laugh, kicking his legs out so he could flip backwards, landing with a small thud in the sand. It didn't seem he was home free yet though. About as soon as he landed, Christian was firing some kind of cero. He frowned, eye twitching. He wasn't going to get a break it seemed. Ah well. He'd still find some way to have his fun without the immediate chances to mock this guy or taunt him with some dramatics. He was a talented man. All he had to do was get past this cero then he could get on with it. He figured a simple dodge to the side would get that job done easily enough. He was slightly wrong in thinking that. He had to stop the moment he did, or at least try to. Stopping dead in one's track while in such soft sand was indeed a difficult thing. He thought he might have been safe, just brushing the fur of the wolf on the farthest right side. He could quickly get away if it tried to bite him. That wasn't exactly what it did though. Just form that small brush, the wold exploded, right in Ukyo's face. He was thrown back, his arms covering up his face as his clothes smoked and burned from the explosion. His feet were able to touch the ground soon enough and he instantly tried to stop, stumbling back a few steps before he managed that much. There was still the problem of the other six wolves. So he couldn't really touch them without getting blown away. That ruled out just slicing them into little tiny pieces as they howled with pain. It Least with ones of his blades. Well since Christian had already gone all out, Ukyo figured it was about time for him to do the same. The chain necklace began to glow before disappearing in a flash. There was a flare of reiatsu, another glow appearing before Ukyo, this time a lot bigger. When it finally faded it revealed Ukyo's unsealed doll, Auspeitschen Atem. It looked exacly like himself if he were made up completely of black metal. It even mimicked his smirk of insanity, only greatly exaggerated to spread from one side of its face to the other. Christian would hardly get enough time to admire the still doll before it began its own resolution to the wolves that threatened its master. It ducked down, swiping a leg out toward the wolves, a swipe of wind in the form of a racing blade head straight toward them. Just in case though, Auspeitschen Atem launched himself into the air, waiting until it was about 20 feet up above the wolves to, whipping his hand in a diagonal path across his chest, a second blast of air speeding down to the cero wolves. Hopefully that would take care of them. It was the best Ukyo could do since he couldn't come into contact with them. Now all that was left was their master to deal with. Auspeitschen Atem gave a blast of air from its feet, though only to propel himself forward this time. He raced toward Christian, the spiked chains around its wrists and ankles sinning madly, ready to cut apart anything the came in contact with. It drew its own copy of Ukyo's knife during its descent, flipping aroun when he got close enough to Christian, bringing that knife down with one hand. The other hand seemed to be busy doing something drawn back. It became clear what was being done when Auspeitschen Atem threw his arm forward, another blast of wind blasting from it in its disarray. It was a way to try and send Christian flying backwards with its force. Of course it only helped that each slice of wind within its blast could probably cut Christian if it sliced over the right place. That was simply an added bonus. Cutting Christian and just sending him back into the sand was not the point of this though. Sometime earlier, probably before Auspeitschen Atem even made its trip down to Christian, Ukoy had made a speedy dash past him, hoping the man would be far to distracted by his doll to even notice he had moved to now stand behind him. He was waiting though, waiting for that arrancar to be blown right back to him. When such a thing did happen he was ready, having his knife drawn and lunging forward to stab it into the flesh of Christian's back with as much force as he could possibly put into it. It was a sneak attack and it was probably dirty. He wasn't like his other goody goody self though and he really just couldn't bring himself to care if he was using different kinds of cheap tricks. And of course there was still his doll who just hadn't met its full desire yet. It was racing right at the both of them, crouched down as it did so for some reason. When it got within range, it slashed its arm upward, that equivalent of a chain saw spinning around its wrist aiming to cut right up through the arrancar's chest from the bottom left up to his right shoulder should the man not have been fast enough, able to ignore the pain enough to have gotten away by then. Ukyo wasn't showing any mercy. stats: han:20 rei:20 hak:25 sei:20 buk:30 hoh:25 ⋆ words 1253 ✩ notes --
