Post by Miaru Hidane on Mar 22, 2013 20:33:46 GMT -5
Name: MUGEN KUROHAKU { jap. t/l: infinite black fade }
Type: Passive
Cost: Low-High (I think this is the right grading)
Range: Self
Description: Upon release of Hidane’s Bankai, the maintenance cost of the vibration technique is amplified to a level greater than the Shikai state vibrations. The vibrations are extended to the entirety of his form, increasing his attack efficiency with or without the weapons in his Bankai to x3 of unaffected. The maintenance cost on its own covers automatic defense against techniques up to level 40 in power without additional costs. To block or cut through techniques or materials created of Reiryoku with a cost higher than level 60, an equal or exceeding cost to the target must be added to the vibrations.
(THIS CAN ONLY BE OBTAINED IF HIDANE IS AT A TIER WHICH SEIJUU GREATER THAN 25 CAN BE ACHIEVED)
In addition to this, Hidane may call ‘Kieuseru’ (Disappear) and, with an activation cost of a level 99 Kido’s Reiryoku applied to the vibrations, become ‘intangible’ for one posting round. Any attacks attempted on him will move through him without damaging him. A level 99 technique may damage him, but the damage will be reduced by half due to his state. This variation in the ‘passive’ may only be used two times per thread.
Name: TSUKIKOUMYAKU
{ jap. t/l: moon streak }
Type: Offensive
Cost: High
Range: Long (300 yard limit)
Description: Hidane forms masses of black Reiatsu on the blades of his Bankai. These masses of Reiatsu may be released in several ways, the most common of these being that he swings the blades, releasing them in large streaks that follow a slightly curved path toward a selected target. The longer these 'streaks' of Reiatsu stay airborne, the longer and thicker they grow. They explode on contact with any material. He can also charge the Reiatsu to the tip of the blades and shoot them off as beams. These masses of Reiatsu can be generated/regenerated as long as there is not one already on the blade, and it takes about three seconds to charge each mass. They can easily blast holes in enemies of even rank to Hidane or lower, though they don't do as serious of damage to higher-rank enemies in streak-form. Hidane tends to use the beam-form of this ability in conjunction with Gesshoku, shooting the beams through the already lightless dome at his enemies. Lasts for four posts, to use again Hidane'
must wait for two posts. Three masses can be used each post.
This technique causes massive, severe damage to anyone ranked below Hidane, severely damaging portions of bodies. Against opponents of equal rank, the attack still does significant damage, but cannot fully blow right through bodies. The damage caused can still be easily fatal, though. Against opponents one rank higher than Hidane, the attacks from this technique do moderate damage, but a single strike from the technique would not be enough to kill an opponent. Against opponents two ranks above Hidane or more, the damage caused is nearly insignificant.
Name: YAMIGARANDOU { jap. t/l: dark void }
Type: Activated, Defensive
Cost: Medium-High
Range: Medium
Description: type: Activated, Defensive
range: Medium
description: Hidane spreads his Reiatsu out over a wide field around him with a radius of about 30 yards, with him at the center. He then condenses the Reiatsu into a massive field of black fog, in which the Reiatsu he, or anyone else within the fog, directly gives off disappears. Other spiritual beings can only pinpoint his location in the smog if they are two ranks higher than him (while in the smog), and beings equal to his rank and up can make an assumption that is within 10 yards of being correct from outside the fog. A spiritual being 3+ ranks higher than Hidane may completely suppress the fog, ending the technique's effect on anyone in the area. This ability lasts for up to five posts unless Hidane decides to end it.
While other spiritual beings are in the fog, the black fog Reiatsu gains a tendency to cling to them. This effect does not apply to Hidane. Once the Reiatsu has begun to cling to a spiritual being, Hidane's hidden Reiatsu appears to cling to them, making the Reiatsu signal they give off stronger by percentage of Hidane's Reiatsu given while not actually making the victim stronger. This part of the technique's effect does not affect enemies 2+ ranks higher than Hidane.
Once the Reiatsu has begun to cling to a being, their Reiatsu becomes easily locatable by all spiritual beings that are capable of diong so. This can confuse beings who do not understand the inner workings of this tech into attacking allies or enemies other than Hidane. Unfortunately, Hidane cannot sense the Reiatsu of others inside of or outside of this field, so he can determine no better who he is attacking and cannot locate other beings within the fog until the Reiatsu has clung to them.
The dark fog blocks all visibility of beings outside trying to look in. While inside the fog, visibility is limited to 5 yards, making dodging attacks extremely difficult. Only a combatant with very high reflexes would be capable of fighting to their fullest extent within the fog. Long-ranged Reiatsu-based attacks (such as Kido or a Quincy's arrow) clear another 5-yard range around them as they travel, which can sometimes give a small (mostly insignificant) additional window of time to dodge an attack.
Name: KUROSUBETARE { jap. t/l: black sword tempest }
Type: Varies
Cost: Medium each sword
Range: Melee / Ranged (15 yards)
Description: The user may form a wide array of swords out of their Reiryoku. These swords take on the fine shape of an average katana, with a pitch-black tone. The number of swords the user may form at one time largely relies on how much the user has trained the technique, as well as their total reserves of Reiatsu. Once the swords are formed, they may be wielded or used in any way imaginable, and require no constant flow of Reiatsu to keep in existence. The blades have the durability of a sealed Zanpakutou. Each sword created by this technique will dissipate after three posts, and only a maximium of five swords can be created.
The lengths of these blades may vary based on the user's wants or needs. The base cost of a Level 60 Kido covers the creation of a katana with up to average length (60 cm); this includes tantos, wakizashis, average katanas, and anything in between. If the cost is upped to that of a Level 80 Kido, the user may create a blade of the same properties with a length of up to 122 cm (152 including the hilt, average Nodachi length). 152 cm is the upper limit to the technique's length of swords created.
