Okay, so Hash, our Head Admin, is out for awhile due to a broken computer. Which puts me in charge of a lot of stuff around here till she can come back, problem is my home situation is troubling at best, which means I can't do this alone.
I need people, mods and normal members, to help me out around here. Mainly with notifications about new advertizements posted in our first time board. It'd also be pretty helpful if you guys actually advertized too, it's not hard to do.
You just click on our affiliates and browse through sites affiliated with them or browse their ads. Find some place we've yet to post our advert and do so.
Most forums are guest friendly, or have a guest account set up for advertizing with the password in their forum description. DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT TO POST OUR AD SOME PLACE. Meaning, unless it's guest friendly, don't post there.
When you post our ad, unless it has a guest account set up, post it under the user name BEPStaff.
IF YOU SEE OUR AD IS STILL ON THEIR FIRST PAGE DO NOT POST OUR AD THERE!! Wait until the ad is at least on the second page to post again.
I'll also need Mods to pay extra attention to profiles, techs and updating appropriate lists once profiles are approved and moved.
For real guys, if I start spending too much time on a computer again, especially at night, I'm gone. Then there'll be no one here to help keep this place alive until Hash gets back. I don't wanna leave this place, I also don't wanna let Hash down either. WE ALL NEED TO WORK TOGETHER PEOPLE, it's important for this place to keep running.
When you're waiting on posts, go throw out a couple adverts, it's really not all that hard to do nor time consuming.
So, unless you want this place to die, help. I'm damn serious here.
EDIT: Forgot to add the link to our advert >.>

You'll notice that there are two different codes. This is for different hosts, this is because different hosts use different coding. We don't have much of a problem with that, because our ad is simple. The only thing that differs is our alignment tags.
Now, first you need to find a site to advertise on. Best thing to do to start is go through our affiliates (some of the forumotion ones don't have advert areas, or they aren't guest friendly, because forumotion sites are bleh). You'll notice that every site has an advertise and affiliate area. Some of them have it labelled weird to match their theme or whatever, but you should be able to pick it out by reading the description, if nothing else. Now you can either advertise on the affiliate site, or go through their advert areas and find the other sites that are advertising there. Click the links in the ads and go to their site to advertise.
**Always post in "First Post, first Link, etc." The description for first will always say something about us finding them first, or not having posted on their site yet. Always scroll down the page to see if the title "END POINT -- canon and custom Bleach RP" is anywhere on the page. If it is, don't post. Always wait until our ad has been pushed back to another page before posting again, otherwise it could be seen as spam. Don't worry about linking back, I will handle that. And if they do not have a link back and first post area, just post in whatever forum everyone else is dropping their ads in.
Also, make sure the topic title is always END POINT -- canon and custom Bleach RP, just in case that wasn't made obvious from the last paragraph. Copy and paste our ad into the actual topic. Post nothing other than said ad. Make the title exactly as it is above, spaces and all. I'm really particular about that, so if I see errors in the structure, spelling or anything of our title, I will be having a talk with you.
Now about hosting. Most RP forums are either proboards, jcink, or invisionfree. Forumotion and zetaboards are a rarity, but if you do come across them, remember that they use the same alignment coding as proboards, so use the proboards ad for them. You should be able to identify what host is being used by the URL of the website. If not, use the preview button. If the ad is not centered and bbcode (either

or [align=center]) is showing up in the post, switch to the other ad. All sites, save for most invisionfree forums, will make you enter a captcha when posting as a guest, that's just how it is. Never make an account to post an ad.
Oh, and before you post on a site, always scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the users online in the last 24 hours. If no one has been on, don't bother, it's dead. If there is no online list, check their chatbox for activity instead.
Everyone can feel free to advertise, since it's a very simple task, and the thing that keeps us on the map. I myself drop at least 20 ads a day. I expect any mod/admin with advertising as one of their duties to drop at least 5-10 ads per day. The sites don't have to be anime, as long as they are an RP site, I don't care. And if you're too busy to do it here and there, that's fine too. Just make sure you do your job.
If you have any questions, or run into any snags when in the advertising process, ask me. I'm an expert when it comes to this.
Also, don't bother reading advert rules. Even if something says we aren't allowed to post because of our host or genre, post anyways. By the time they delete our ad, someone will have had to see it, which is all that matters.
