I'll stop the whole world from turning in to a monster Her feet plodded along gently as her hand graced against the cool metal of the rail. Nox often visited the human world out of curiosity. There was a lot more interesting things there than in Hueco Mundo. The Espada hated to be confined to any small space or that endless desert. There were painful reasons why she hid behind that clouded and fake amnesia she created for herself. The sounds were all interesting, perking the Arrancar's interest. It was rare for anyone to notice her, however most spiritually aware individuals regarded her nothing more than just another soul.
After all...she was probably the most human looking Arrancar given that she wore a collar around her neck to hide her Hollow hole and had earrings as remnants for her mask. Crystal blue eyes flickered over to stare at the odd structures. They were nothing like the smooth white buildings of Hueco Mundo. Nox had wanted to enter one, but was rather afraid. Like a timid bunny, she kept her distance while eyeing them all the time. Another few moments passed by as the Arrancar came to the end of the rail which she had her hand touching. Feeling nothing but air, Nox drew her hand to her side. The familiar feeling of the cloth was like a warm comfort.
Her dangling sword sheath clacked against the railing for a moment, letting out a metallic resonance in the air. Nox continued on, observing the world and all of its mysteries. Fascinating...simply fascinating. Something new caught her eye. A small gathering of people in a large field of green ground. The ground wasn't as soft as the sand in Hueco Mundo, but was still firm. She had never known what to call the green ground. Pausing, Nox settled herself on the small hill overlooking the green field.
The humans there were chasing each other, but not fighting. Tilting her head curiously, she continued to watch. It confounded her as to why none of them were in pain or hurting each other. She only knew this behavior due to the constant fighting in Hueco Mundo. A small sigh escaped her lips as a simple tune began to emit from her mouth. "I feel happy, I feel sad, I feel like running through the walls. I'm overjoyed, I'm undecided, I don't know who I am..." The soft and gifted voice drifted off in to mumbling as she continued to hum the rest of her song to herself.
A hand brushed the green ground as slender fingers plucked up a blade of grass. Nox twirled the little green object in her hand, wrapping it around a finger, and then letting it fall back to the ground before repeating the process again...and again. The Arrancar was seemingly lost in her own little world and quest for understanding while humming away to herself.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,447,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imgur.com/24OrAVF.png] *It was just one of those days, where one felt like being out, but not doing anything. Okay maybe that wasn't completely true, seeing as Sana was out, she was doing something. Reading. Under a tree near the area where the guys were joking around, and had been for a few hours actually. She had ignored them for the most part, chalking it up to just guys being guys and needed to let out some energy. Whatever you wanted to call it they were just having fun, so Sana choice to find herself a place away out of the way. Not to mention, she just wanted to try and unwind, not having anything bother her already confused and frustrated mind.
Ever since moving her, well she couldn't catch a break and honestly didn't know what was causing her issue. The dreams, the flashes, the spirits all of it confused, at times annoyed and left her exhausted honestly. Considering she never knew when it would happen, but her nights were not the best times for her lately. Hell, she was having to try and catch naps during the day, something she hadn't done in a long time. Just so she could get rest and her body didn't feel exhausted.
So that was why she was out there, sitting quietly under the tree and attempting to ignore everything else. Attempting being the catch. It was like she could feel it, but even not looking knew something or someone was nearby. Not that she was looking, just could sense them and continued to ignore it, enjoying her story or trying too. Barely making it through five chapters, when normally she would be half-way through. But Sana was stubborn, praying fate would take pity and be kind enough, to back the hell off her. One could hope anyhow, resting her back against the bark of the tree, hair loose and slightly blowing. Clad in some faded blue jeans, dark grey halter-top and sandals she was as casual as you could get.*

Colin let out a relieved sigh as he stood atop the roof of a high-rise in downtown Karakura. He had half-expected Shinigami forces to come swarming in as soon as he stepped through the Garganta and into the human world. But so far, there wasn’t so much as a peep of dangerous reiatsu. He was grateful for that. He wasn’t here to cause trouble, unlike the previous Espada that Aizen had led. He had just wanted to see what had changed in the world since his death. He hadn’t set foot out of Hueco Mundo in two and half centuries. To his mind, it was high time for a change from the monotonous surroundings of his home.
But he had moved through the town of Karakura for the past several hours, just looking around. The more he saw, the more it looked as if the world had not changed in the slightest since his death. The sights, the sounds, the smells – hell, even the spirits felt the same. That was impossible though, wasn’t it? Centuries had passed for him. And from what he had gathered from his time in Hueco Mundo, time did not pass any differently there than it did on human realm. So how could Karakura look almost exactly as it had when he left? Perhaps when he returned he would ask Zelena about it. She was generally a good source of information, though it was sometimes difficult to get her to talk about something besides whatever task was at hand. She seemed worried about the fate of Hueco Mundo – and of her subordinates.
He shook his head, frustrated. This was supposed to be a break from all that business. He needed to move, to clear his head. He jumped onto the railing surrounding the roof’s edge and hopped from roof to roof for a while. His long hair streamed out behind him as he leapt forward. He wasn’t thinking about any particular destination – he just let his body move of its own accord. It eventually led him to the streets, then to a more residential area before finally stopping in a park. Now here was a sight he had missed – vibrant green grass stretching out before you beneath a pure azure sky. There were some males running about in the open field, playing some sort of game. Perhaps it was some sort of sport like soccer or the sorts of games he had played with his siblings like tag and keep-away. They weren’t particularly special or particularly attractive. Another human was off on its own, reading beneath a shady tree. This one was a female and even at this distance, Colin could tell she was both tired and distracted. Even better, the tantalizing feel of a strong reiatsu was present around her and it intrigued him slightly. He would have to investigate that in a moment.
But a little nearer to him was a figure he instantly recognized – Quatro Espada Nox, just sitting and absent-mindedly picking at grass. He quirked an eyebrow, wondering what she was doing here. Was this where she sometimes disappeared to when they couldn’t find her in Las Noches? Why would she come here? The human world was as uninteresting as he remembered, filled with stupidity and misery in equal measures. The humans that were aware of the spirit world weren’t even all that appetizing compared to a Hollow soul. So, keeping his eye on reading woman, he slowly approached his fellow Espada. As he approached, he caught the sound of humming which seemed to originate from Nox herself. How curious. He came to a stop a few feet to her left. He didn’t say anything for a moment, merely held his hands crossed behind his back as he observed the reading woman. His eyes never strayed from her as he addressed Nox in a neutral, yet melodic tone. “What a bizarre thing it is to witness a powerful Arrancar mindlessly plucking grass in a park. What brings you to the human world, Nox?”

I'll stop the whole world from turning in to a monster The Arrancar had switched songs about three times during her course of lost thoughts. Her hand was filled with a number of the green blades of odd material. With a gentle breeze, they soon scattered off in to the sky with curious eyes watching as they flew away. Bewildered, Nox followed the blades before setting her eyes upon something new. Her strawberry locks of hair blocked her gaze for a moment. Brushing away the locks of hair, Nox saw more clearly. There was another person now, a woman by the looks of it.
She didn't seem affiliated or involved with the others. She was underneath what she remembered was called a tree. There were trees in Hueco Mundo, however those were decorated with the numerous odd colored materials. What were those again. Her bmind scrambled, trying to remember. Papers? No. Leaves...? Yes, leaves. Nox felt the urge to investigate this person. Something about her was different...perhaps it was the fact that she could feel a faint presence from her unlike the others.
Speaking of presence...someone was coming up on her. The voice confirmed her suspicions and she had even placed the culprit before he spoke. The Primera Espada. She paused, not turning to face him, searching for words. Her voice quivered for a moment. "I wasn't expecting....you?" This was quite a lie, but Nox found her courage and words eventually. "I am often here, isn't it obvious why?" Her head quirked while staring at the other woman across the ground before she rose. Brushing her clothes, Nox rose. Her eyes peered through the strawberry bangs that draped across her face. "Am I not allowed to be here? I find people interesting...especially that one over there." Nox rose a slender finger and pointed it over to the woman without even turning to glance.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,447,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imgur.com/24OrAVF.png]*Flipping a page, a breath slipped from her lips as she tried to one more focus. Ignoring the cheers, shouts from the guys playing soccer. Keeping her eyes down for now, focused or trying to be but she just had too much on her mind. Honestly, it was a waste to try and relax when so much had been going on, so much happening and yet she still had no clear answers. It frustrated her to not be in control of her life at the moment, to keep the images, the nightmares at bay.
Of course her train of thought shifted some, feeling the presence of first one, than two others nearby. Though she made no move to let on she had noticed. Almost curious who or what they were and if it would be like the other. A part praying it wasn't since she didn't want a repeat of that night in the park. speaking of the park, the appearance of storm clouds filled her minds eyes and she closed her eyes. Picturing him once more, but still not sure of anything that was said. Still she only hoped perhaps soon there would be more answers than questions lingering in her mind.
Lifting her gaze finally, looking first casually towards the guys and couldn't help smiling. Soccer was a fun game to watch, especially when the players were attractive. Blushing a little at her own thoughts before shaking her head and leaning back, closing her eyes for a moment to rest. Yet, she could feel the two presences, casually looking over to her left where their presence seemed the strongest. Violet eyes staring up at what appeared to be a male and female talking. Spotting the objects at their sides and sighed some, turning away and returning to her book. Sana didn't look for trouble if she could help it, so for now she just tried to go back and relax. Hoping to become lost in the story, but also very much aware should the two leave or even begin to come closer. | |

Colin steadily watched the reading woman as Nox struggled to find the right words. The Quatra Espada inspired contradictory feelings in him. She was one of the calmest of the Arrancar, which made her easier to deal with. On the other hand, it was far too easy to side-track her from her purpose and she was paranoid in the extreme. It caused her to be hesitant and evasive in so much of what she did.
He rolled his eyes at her statements. The quiver in her voice did nothing to dissuade his irritation. She wasn’t some weakling who could be destroyed by a light breeze. He had no intention of treating her as such. He finally tore his gaze from the reading woman to look down at his fellow Espada. His gaze wasn’t cold, exactly, but it wasn’t especially kind either. “If it were obvious, I would not have asked the question. Do not play stupid and evasive with me, Nox. It is irksome.”
“Am I not allowed to be here? I find people interesting...especially that one over there.”
His eyes followed the line of her finger to find that Nox’s attention had been caught by the human woman, just like his. He smirked as the woman glanced over at the two Arrancar. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, the cool wind blowing his hair slightly to one side and causing his jacket to rustle against his leather pants. In his mind, he could practically smell the reiatsu in this woman. It was stronger than an average human’s, but she was still human. She wouldn’t be much more than a snack to him, but he wasn’t particularly hungry just now anyway. He wondered if she was like he had been in his human life. His smirk broadened as a delightful thought crossed his mind. “Fortunately, you are certainly allowed to be here. Zelena would never wish to deprive you a chance to indulge your curiosity. And neither would I. In fact, I am curious about that woman as well. What do you say you go talk to her?” he purred, his voice quiet but enticing and persuasive. He gently nudged Nox in the back, urging her towards the reading woman. “Perhaps she can answer your…burning questions, ne?”

I'll stop the whole world from turning in to a monster Words were always something the Arrancar struggled for at times, especially when she was unaware of the situation. Let alone she always found it hard to really have a good conversation. She was always so...off...but that's what made Nox...well...herself. She was unique, even if she was a lab experiment. Somehow the meaning of her life still eluded her. It was a question she posed to many people. How simple was it? Three words. 'What is life?'. That was it. A question that left many without words and some with long winded explanations. Nox still never found the answer that would set her self at ease...but then again perhaps it was a mystery never to be revealed to such a soulless soul.
The Primera Espada seemed to be displaying some sort of irritation in his voice that Nox picked up on. She simply nodded and continued to observe his mannerisms and body language as he spoke. Teal blinked behind those strawberry bangs of hers. "I am not evasive. I am simply stating what I thought was obvious." Again her eyes blinked as if they were the periods to her sentences and thought process before jumping to another topic.
"I am glad the master allows me to move freely. I would certainly not like to be confined." Her voice was simple and rather coherent for once without jumping to a random thought or topic. Her eyes seemed slightly more lively at the prospect of visiting the human over in the distance. Without even bidding the other Espada farewell despite being nudged away, Nox sauntered over towards the curious subject who seemed to have noticed them as well.
Standing before her, Nox leaned in and peered at her through her pink hair. Silence wafted by before her voice broke the silence. "Why are you here?" A simple question, but it could open a plethora of emotions and facial expressions that Nox was just waiting to try and unravel like a puzzle.

No she was trying to just have an eventful free day if possible, without something odd or unexplanable happening to or around her. With a sigh she turned another page, eyes dancing across the sentences as her mind once again got lost in the story. Barely hearing the guys playing soccor any longer. Which was probably a good thing. Tilting her head just slightly, her hair falling to make like a veil over her face, which she quickly pushed back behind her ear.
It wasn't till a short time later, she noticed the feeling around her, it was getting stronger and she than saw the shadow. Hearing the question, she lifted her head up, raising a brow curiously at such a odd first question and shrugged.* "This town is my home, I live here and this park is close-by. Plus it's a nice day and I wanted to be out." *Unsure if the girl had meant the park, or the town so she killed two birds with one stone, so to speak. Brushing her tongue lightly over her lips, she took a moment to let her eyes roam over the girl before returning to her face. The sword was easy to note and she tried to figure out if the girl was like the Shinigami she had meet. But than she didn't dress much like him or was it based on preference?*
"What about you? You don't look to just be out enjoying the day with a weapons at your hip." *Deciding to ask the question which lingered in the back of her mind and see what would happen. Turning her head a moment later to see the other still a ways off where this girl had been earlier.

Colin’s eyes narrowed slightly as Nox walked away. He had to continually remind himself that she wasn’t right in the head. Admittedly, most of the Espada weren’t right in the head, but Nox was seriously broken inside. He knew there were reasons for it; he’d just never bothered to remember, if he’d been told in the first place. He didn’t really recall any of that. It was extraneous and irrelevant information. He just knew he wasn’t supposed to bring up her past – it made the Quatra volatile. If he ever got really bored, he could always needle her about it. But whenever he got close, he reminded himself that he’d feel bad for her if she hadn’t proven herself more than strong enough to be in the Espada. Weaklings didn’t make it into Zelena’s Espada. But Colin liked to think that fools didn’t make it in either.
He moved to the right enough to keep the reading woman in his line of sight and focused almost all of his attention on her. He maintained enough awareness of the rest of the world to notice if a threat approached, but for the most part he was fixated on the woman. Were he actually interested in romance or sex, he figured he would think she was very pretty – perhaps even beautiful. She had long, jet-black hair and lovely curved figure. And she looked as though she favored comfort over fashionable, if her current attire was anything to go by. She seemed calm and was mostly unfazed by Nox’s looming presence, despite the fact that she had apparently been distracted by her thoughts not too long ago. But she was answering whatever asinine question Nox had asked. He would just observe the interaction for now, not particularly interested in the answers Nox was receiving so much as the way the woman reacted.

I'll stop the whole world from turning in to a monster Emotion was always a subject which Nox was trying to become well versed in. Right when she believed to have nailed it, her idea was shot down in a fiery blaze of smoke. The mechanics of emotion eluded her to the point that she may as well give up on it. Something inside of her always pushed her never to end her quest for answers though. The Arrancar couldn't explain that much. Upon hearing her answer, Nox nodded and simply blinked her eyes as usual while trying to come up with a response.
Her mind wandered, thinking of what to say or what to answer first. Opening her mouth, words began to come out, however she quickly stopped, reaffirming what she was about to say as if her words were a life or death situation. "Living must be nice. Life can be pleasant or cruel though so I'm not sure if living is actually nice now that I think about it." Nox's forehead furrowed as she confused even herself before continuing.
"Weapon?" Nox's teal eyes glanced to the chain that held her Zanpakuto. She was still absent minded at twirling that chain around her finger and unwinding it again. "Doesn't everyone carry weapons?" The strawberry haired Espada let the chain go. Her Zanpakuto's sheath drooping to her side as it swung gently back and forth from its chain.

Just running into more with aura's like Orihime and Byakuya was a little unnerving to her at the moment. So she preferred dealing with only one at least for now and it appeared the female was just as curious as her. Violet eyes moving from where the male was standing, to look back at the girl standing before her. Waiting to see what else she might have to say, before raising a brow. She had opened her mouth, than just as quickly closed it again, which had Sana curious. But she didn't push. Although when the girl did actually decide to talk, well Sana was taken aback by the words.
Tilting her head some, Sana had to actually think about the words a moment, before she would respond.* "Well living is actually a nice thing, being able to share with those you love. Spending time, laughing, crying, just enjoying what life has to offer being with your family and friends. Who wouldn't enjoy that? Life is too precious to take likely and we should always cherish the days we have, one never knows when it will be our last." *Speaking from the heart, it was how she felt. Though after she did, took a moment to look the other female over a moment, it was odd how differently all these people with power dressed.* "Are you both shinigami, because I can tell your not souls like usual?"
*Glancing once more towards the male, though at the question she turned back and smiled. Shaking her head about the weapons being what everyone had.* "Heavens no. If we carry anything its a can of mace, but normally weapons are for the law enforcement, or military. Though I guess some civilians now-a-days carry as well."

Colin couldn’t help but yawn as he watched Nox and the woman chit-chat. There wasn’t very much for him to do while he waited for his little game to play out. He had to wonder why he didn’t just approach the woman himself instead of sending the ever-willing, ever-curious, ever-distracted Nox to do it. Oh, that was right. He didn’t want to scare the woman off. Still, it didn’t make for the best entertainment as he stood with his head tilted to one side, watching them.
After a few moments he grew tired of standing and slowly sat down on the warm grass, relishing the silky/prickly feel of it against his body. Two hundred and fifty years since he had last enjoyed the feeling of grass. Two hundred and fifty years since he had last smelled growing things and fresh air. Two hundred and fifty years since he had watched the clouds float by. The thought brought a sad smile to his face. He laid back and stretched out on the ground, slipping his hands beneath his head to act as a pillow while he cloud-gazed. Now this was something he had truly missed – perhaps even more than his family, he had missed watching the heavens above him and wishing he could fly with the clouds. Of course, he could fly with them now if he wanted to. But right now, he just wanted to soak in the nostalgia for a little bit as he waited for Nox to sate her curiosity or lose her temper, whichever happened first.

I'll stop the whole world from turning in to a monster Being inquisitive was her nature. To question was her nature. To experience was her reason for living. There was a story to everything, she just wanted to find out why. There were so many times she had asked that one word question, but now she was being posed odd questions herself. Of course the human girl didn't know any better. She was...human after all. "You are right. Life is precious, but is one life more precious than another?" The human's next question caught her at odds end slightly.
"Shinigami..." Nox repeated the words to herself, focusing on her own thoughts before glancing at the human in the eyes. "I suppose that's what you might call people like us. The terms are always changing." It wasn't the truth but it wasn't exactly a lie either. They were like Shinigami, possessing Zanpakuto. They were also called Arrancar though, an evolution of the Hollow. Nox curiously tipped her head observing the human. "I find that quite odd. Weapons are for defense are they not? Everyone should be responsible for themselves, no?" It was all slightly confusing, human culture that was.
Nox grew up learning that weapons were used for her defense and nothing else could save her from the tortures that lay ahead of her if she didn't fight. A chill ran down her spine as her eyes flickered over towards her colleague which had decided to stay away from them for the time being. The flickering thought of kill the human crossed her mind, however it faded as quickly as it had come. What would one do faced with almost certain death? Would one fight back to preserve their life as she or give up in a hope for something else that may lay waiting?

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,447,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imgur.com/24OrAVF.png]*Her mind was going to what they were talking about, than to what she was seeing, hearing the last few days. Really curious to see if this female was like the other two and how she might act, if it was different or not. Arching a brow to her question a moment, before shaking her head just slightly.* "That one would depend who you ask, I'm sure there are many people who would say yes. One life is more precious than another. Honestly, to me all life is precious no matter who or what you are." *She wasn't judge, jury or executioner, nor would she want to be. Even a rapist, murdered was precious in some aspect, not for their acts, no those didn't count it went deeper than that.
Her train of thought shifting, when she hear the girl repeat the word, before she continued. Sana raising another brow to just what she said. Now confused and a little more curious how they were alike, yet the terms changed? What did that exactly mean?* "What do you mean exactly? You suppose that's what you people are called. Are you not Shinigami, than what are you?"*A more weary feeling began to wash over Sana, watching the female, the male, well he was now laying down as if nothing mattered at the moment to him. Sighing some softly, before listening as the other comment, she spoke was responded too.*"Yes. I suppose when you put it that way, but not all use them as defense and that is where issue arise. But it would be nice if everyone did take responsibility for themselves. Instead of passing it on to others." *Shrugging some, it would be nice, but she doubted that people would ever think that responsibly. At least not in her time anyhow. Violet eyes going down to her lap a moment, before finally returning to the female in front of her.*
