A Garganta opened up, and through it walked the giant of an Arrancar, Rudianos Illyria. He was as close to giddy with excitement as an Arrancar like him could possibly get – evidenced by the smug grin on his face, that only grew as he observed the destruction around him. The screams of the dying and those in agony was music to his ears, the sight of a bloodied battlefield almost picturesque, in his not-so-humble opinion. And, if one lived long enough to ask him what his favourite smell was, he would tell them it was this – the scent of war. Blood, gore, the sweat and toil of warriors – it was what he lived for. Well, that, and absolute power.
One Shinigami spotted the Espada, and ran at him full-pelt. Obviously, he seemed to either be lost in the heat of the battle, or was just too over-confident for his own good. Either way, he was to be taught a lesson – preferably, without him living afterwards. Rudianos caught the man’s katana mid-swing, in one hand, and proceeded to stare down its wielder. “M-monster!” he shouted, quivering once he realised just who – or rather, what – he was fighting. Rudianos began to grin as the Shinigami realised just how hopeless his situation was, and just how powerful his opponent was. He continued to tr and pull his sword free, but to no avail.
And then, the sickening sound of a Zanpakutō slowly crumbling sounded, as Rudianos’ fist closed around his foe’s blade, turning it to little more than a hilt and an oversized needle. Scared beyond words, the Shinigami attempted to flee, but was stopped dead in his tracks by Rudianos picking him up by his skull. “And where do you think you’re going, boy?” Turning him around so the two were face-to-face, Rudianos and his prey stared into each other’s eyes, one feeling smug, the other one almost soiling himself. This little exchange ended, as soon as Rudianos squeezed, the delightful sound of a skull being crushed to pieces ringing out across the small area of the battlefield.

Words: 524 Notes:Angry jin is angry Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! The young captain was still recovering from his battle with the primera espada. That beast of a man was full of strength, full of absolute power, so much so that Jin almost doubted himself. But, just a day later he and Lucien fought together, and had drinks afterward and that had helped Jin truly clear his mind. He knew there were people stronger than he was, but he wasn't weak either. He was strong, he was a captain after all. And with that, Jin was pacing back and forth, his hands in his pockets while he waited for the fourth division lead to give him his okay to go. He needed to go back to the war, there were shinigami to save, Arrancar to slay and as much as Death bothered him, his home was on the line.
Still, the pacing had come to a stop. There was something happening out in the battlefield, something had shown up. He wasn't sure who it was, but it was another Arrancar, it was very powerful, and he was fighting a shinigami. Jin wanted to go, but he knew he needed to heal up. But who was he fighting? Jin stopped for a moment, his hands leaving his pockets as teh realization hit him. It was... "No! Lee-yu!" The exclamation came as loudly as he could muster while he grabbed the hilt to his blade, his haori being left behind. Jin wasn't about to let his favorite sixth seat die. He needed to get there fast, and even as he ignored the people yelling for him to stop, he could feel his reiatsu falling.
No dammit...NO! The thoughts echoed loudly in his mind, his body moving as quickly as it could. Sadly, even as Jin reached the place, he saw something most gruesome. Something that would make anyone quiver inside their own skin. The young shinigami's zanpaukto was broken, his head was caught and then immediately crushed in the face of his attacker. "no...no, no, no...Lee-yu. I'm sorry...." And there it was. Jin's reiatsu flared to it's peak, his heart was pumping, and his veins felt like they were going to pop out of his skin. He was angry; angry like he had never been before. The last time he felt this way was the very first time he saw his older brother again...the day he unlocked his bankai for the first time.
Jin's body shivered in his angry wake, his white hair falling over his crimson eyes as a scowl etched it's way over his eyes. He lifted his head for but a moment, drawing the long silver blade from it's sheath. He wasn't about to let this man get away with it, he wasn't about to let this monster escape so freely. With his blade fully drawn, there were no words to be had except for three. "Prepare to die...." And as the lasting echo of the word left his lips, he vanished appearing to the mans left, his sword coming down aiming to make a deep gash into the mans chest. He would pay for killing that young man

Rudianos looked to Jin as realisation of what had happened hit the Shinigami – and he smiled. It was the kind of reaction that he relished, the kind of thing that he loved to see on a person’s face. Had he known that such a death would cause so much grief, Rudianos would have made it far more painful for Jin’s subordinate. As it stood, however, he would have to settle for having crushed a man’s skull in his bare hands. He chuckled darkly, wasting no time in rubbing salt into the wound – more specifically, he kicked the headless body aside, like one would a piece of rubbish on a footpath.
The Espada then raised an eyebrow at Jin – fully expecting him to retaliate, but not looking as if he did. What he did not expect, however, was the power he felt emanating from his foe. He knew the man was powerful before, but the level of it he was sensing was beyond any of the mooks he usually came across. He felt that such a challenge would be good for him, and though Jin’s power exceeded his own, Rudianos had enraged him. From a tactical viewpoint, while the Espada was less powerful, he did not have rage clouding his judgement.
As soon as Jin reappeared beside Rudianos, he turned, and caught the blade of Jin’s Zanpakutō single-handedly. Granted, his palm did begin bleeding, but the wound was superficial. The sadist looked down on the captain, grinning as he did so, his other hand ready to react to whatever came up. “You are a fool to believe such a rudimentary trick would work on me, boy. I would wager that I am centuries older than you – I have battled countless foes and claimed more lives than you could possibly fathom. I would be an idiot of the highest calibre not to expect this.”
Though weaker in pretty much every aspect, Rudianos still possessed far superior physical strength. Holding Jin’s blade was no problem, though it was fairly uncomfortable for him. Hence, why he let go, and aimed a brutal punch at Jin’s sternum as soon as he did so. He planned to launch a Bala if the attack worked, and would do so without hesitation. However, his ability with energy-based attacks wasn’t particularly notable, unless he showed his true form. And, seeing as he had to save that until necessary, it was bare-knuckled brawling for him. Not that he minded, though. It made fights more fun that way.

Words: 529 Notes:Angry jin is angry Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Jin had let the rage cloud his judgement, feeling but a single emotion was rare for the captain, something that hadn't happened in so very long, and he would soon come to regret it. Jin's eyes were filled with anger, but there was something else there too. Sadness. He could feel the ping of guilt running on the inside of his body, the flame of adrenaline filling his entire being, and he couldn't help but want to tear this bastards throat out. He wasn't one to hold a grudge, or even want to kill, but this was something that had to be done. He knew there were good Arrancar out there...he knew there were evil Shinigami, but he needed this bastard dead...For Lee-yu's sake.
Still that would have to wait for when the man let go of his blade. Jin's sword would be crushed so easily, he was far more powerful than his subordinate, and his blade had seen worse days (most notably when he was still a young man making his way up). When the beast let go of his blade, Jin grinned. He was right, and as much as he detested to hear it, but the bastard was right. Jin wasn't a frontal assault kind of guy. He used tricks, kidou and mixed his techniques together for far greater damage. So, how would he do this. Kill the bastard with a well strung together kidou combination? Maybe fill up one of his fruits and cause the man so much pain he'd rather off himself then live another moment? A soft chuckle escaped his lips before the bastard start to aim a punch his way.
Luckily for Jin, noticing such an attack was simple. They were, in fact, face to face, and with a quick shunpo Jin left something behind. An after-image that would react to the blow, and potentially even die. This was going to be a fast combo if he wanted to work. Jin appeared behind the man, stabbing the ground with his sword and raising both hands to start the incantations. This skill was well known, made famous by Rukia Kuchiki when she fought the former ninth espada. it was a double incantation, advanced in some ways. That got Jin to thinking what rank this other beast of a man was, but that would have to wait. "I invoke thee, God of punishment, to come forth and hold mine enemy in place so that he may be judged for his sins!. Fly true and full, and cast everything to the far reaches! Bakudo #48: Tojikomeru. Hado # 50: Rushageki (Red Gunshot)"
Everything clicked together, and from the shadows created four chains sprouted from under him aiming to grasp his legs, and arms to hold him in place. And as that started to work, Jin's right hand began to glow brightly with a kinetic crimson energy. Instantly shooting forward to blow the large man in the back. Everything that was combined was used to keep the man from once more getting the upper hand and with that, Jin grasped his zanpakuto, awaiting to see just what the other would react to the combination of kidou.

Rudianos knew better than to suspect someone of Jin’s power would go down like that after a single blow. Powerful as he was, Rudianos was by no means the strongest out there – and he sensed Jin was even stronger. Ready to retaliate at any given moment, he glanced about, steeling himself for any potential surprise attacks. A straight-up test of physical strength would not be something Jin would do, to his mind. It would likely be an assault from behind him. But what would that say if he just blocked everything? That would imply he would at least have some weakness. And Rudianos had other plans.
When he saw Jin and heard him chanting, a slight expression of surprise appeared on his face. It was more at him not noticing the chanting earlier, however – probably due to the sounds of battle around him, but that was a mistake he resolved not to make again. Attempting to conserve energy, he charged at Jin, instead of using Sonido – it wasn’t something he was particularly proficient in, nor was it something he cared to use too often. Rudianos grimaced – the attack, being chanted, would likely not be too pleasant, and might actually manage to hurt him. The Espada relished this chance – it had been a while since he had felt pain.
Taking up stance, Rudianos allowed the chains to wrap around his legs, and keep them to the ground. He used Bala, however, to keep the chains from attaching to his arms. He kept this up just long enough to take up stance against the incoming Kido. In a manner so casual it almost looked instinctive, Rudianos put up a single hand, and used it to block the shot. And, after the smoke cleared, what was left was Rudianos grinning, and pacing towards his foe. True, it had hurt him. His scorched hand was more than enough proof. However, if he was hurt, he wasn’t showing it.
Rudianos’ immense weight, combined with the chains holding his legs and the stance he had taken, had ensured that even the Kido fired at him could not make him budge. To the uninitiated, it would seem as if such an attack had had little more effect than a peashooter. “Kido. A fine art, even I will admit to that. But unfortunately for you, such an attack will do nothing to hinder me. Now, allow me to show you just how pathetic you truly are.” Rudianos threw another punch at Jin, and would follow it up with even more if that one was successful. He had been toying with the captain before – now was the time to stop messing around.

Words: 707 Notes:Aiming for the ribs, but if you're cut at all, then a dog will be made. Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Jin watched, his temper rising as the Arrancar fended off the chains that aimed for his arms. He was doing something, perhaps trying to make Jin angry; he wasn't sure, but he did know that it was working. Jin was getting fed up with this other man, but he wasn't going to let it hinder him too much longer. He needed a clear mind to take this man on, and to win for that matter. He needed to avenge his fallen comrade, and he was going to avenge him. Still, as the rest of his combo finished with the smoke clearing Jin took in a deep breath in solace. He saw the charred skin, and while the other man wasn't reacting much, he knew it had done some damage. Jin was also very good at hiding pain as he was used to being impaled to some degree. Still, the way the beast walked it off was enough to make Jin furious.
Then he started walking toward him. This other man seemed to have some otherworldly sense, and Jin made the conscious decision to no longer try and trick him with his after images. If one didn't work, a second or third wouldn't do anything more than make him seem dim-witted, something that he was anything but. Jin took in a deep breath as he started to calculate various combinations, perhaps even entertaining the idea of releasing to his shikai. He didn't want to release so soon into the fight, but if the other man was enough to withstand a level 50 kidou with incantation, then he wouldn't have any trouble with his unreleased blade. He nodded to himself, his left hand gathering the necessary energy. He was going to try something extremely dangerous, but he needed to do it. I'm sorry Zetsumei, but this may get a little hot."
"You killed a dear friend of mine...and I just have one thing to say..." He started, entangling his speech with his release command. "Death be with you. Zetsumei!" The energy released was impressive, a mass of darkness swirling around his sword until it glowed with a red tint. The energy dispersing outward and in it's wake was a all black blade. The hilt resembling three dogs circling one another, while the hilt was etched with a beautiful red. The blade itself seemingly covered in white, floating flame like objects. He slashed downward, now once again face to face with the behemoth of a man. His fist was coming right for Jin, it was slow but he was sure it was going to deliver one hell of a wallop. Still, he needed to take it for this combination to work.
Raising his arm, he let the blade fall to the left almost in a circular motion until the blade was aligned with his forearm, the hilt now pointing toward the sky. Jin rose his arm, using the broad side of the blade as a shield. Words started to exit Jin's lips. "Hado # 12: Howaitofaiākyanon" As his body moved backwards, a soft grunt exiting his lips as the force of the blow sunk in. This man was powerful; his physical strength outclassed Jin and took it to a whole other level. Still, this was exactly what he needed. His left hand was raised behind his blade the palm and finger tips outstretched, and pressed against the blade. Jin had a single goal, to heat his blade to a heightened temperature for a brief moment while also splitting the fire like attack in two separate directions toward the man.
Then, Jin shunpoed once more, but this time to the mans left while his own body was hung low. His blade was lowered, and to his right, along his hips. Jin swung upward, the blade going in the general direction of the mans ribs, attempting to cut his entire side open. Should this attack land while using Jin's superior speed, and swordsmanship, the blood spilled will give birth to a blood hound. Using this time to back away while this new hound using it's own reiatsu burst to attack the mans side where he was cut. If not, well then Jin was going to be in for a rude awakening.

“To release your Shikai so early in the battle… You must be desperate, boy.” Rudianos grinned as he spoke, his voice laced with the kind of malice only the irredeemably monstrous would have. Were he more powerful people would not be blamed for mistaking him for the devil himself. And, while Rudianos’ power was limited, he at least did his best to show just how similar he was to said entity. Perhaps worse. It could be said that the man exuded evil – that the weaker-willed could be harmed by just standing near him. And it wouldn’t be his reiatsu crushing them.
“Had I known one of your friends’ deaths would pain you so, I would have killed more. And kill more I shall – take that agony with you to Oblivion, Soul Reaper.” Rudianos landed the blow and swung again, but he missed – Jin had moved out of the way. The Kido launched at him was weak to begin with, but split in two, it was no more than a mere distraction to him. Apparently, however, a distraction was all Jin needed to set up. It took the Espada but a second to gather himself after being hit, but even this seemed to be too slow.
Luckily for Rudianos, he expected a side attack, but was nonetheless caught out by Jin’s far superior speed and ability with a blade. He repositioned himself so that all he received in the way of injury was a small cut across his chest, but as it turned out, a slight cut was all that was needed. A blood hound formed before him while Jin backed away, and the hound attempted to repel Rudianos with their own burst of reiatsu. While it did manage to hit his wound, the cut itself was nothing severe enough to warrant much of a reaction when it hit. His tunic was scorched where he had been hit, but no significant amount of pain had been felt. Wasting no more time, Rudinos grabbed the hound by the throat, and charged at Jin.
“Your technique is impressive, if pathetically fragile. Just like your lives seem to be.” Now well within range of Jin, Rudianos hurled the bloodhound at Jin. He did not expect to do much damage – if anything, he expected nothing much to happen, bar a stained uniform. But, if Jin was distracted for even a second, that would be enough for Rudianos to start laying into his foe, with punches and kicks of many varieties. He would not resort to releasing his true form though – not until Jin released his Bankai. He wanted to crush the man, and if he could do it while he was still in his normal form, all the better.

Words: 604 Notes: yay blood hound sword. Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! "Desperate? No...not desperate. You don't want to see me desperate." Those were but the only words spoken to the older man. He wasn't going to delve into his techniques, there weaknesses, or what would truly constitute as desperate for the young captain. His strength lied in his ability to keep his techniques secret, and secret he would keep them. Still, the Arrancar knew just how to rile Jin up, probably after hundreds, if not thousands of years of killing people, eating his own kind, and just being an absolutely horrible stain on the universe. Jin had no intention of letting his the beasts words get to him, but if he didn't end this soon, he may have more trouble keeping his comrades alive if they felt like he needed the help.
And as time seemed to slow, the dog being formed, and landing it's burst on the bastard, Jin sighed when it was grabbed. The man must of had impressive control over his strength to not completely crush it with his massive hands. Still, Jin watched the man charging toward him. He had used too many in consecutive execution with one another, and he could feel his reserves hitting the seventy-five percent mark already. If he didn't watch it, he would have to use his bankai to just keep his reserves high enough, but still. A wild grin passed over the young captains face when he threw the hound his way. It may not have been intentional, but the man had just done Jin a favor. Fully expecting the dog to be obliterated, the man just provided his enemy with a second weapon.
Jin kept his eyes on the arrancar while his left hand rose into the air, passing over the dogs back. Releasing a small amount of reiatsu, the dog started to morph and change once more. Jin had developed a skill over the course of his time with his zan to utilize the dogs for something more than just an additional ally, but instead could use it as either a sword or a spear. This time Jin kept it as a sword, as it was the most practical course of action. Finally grasping the new handle, Jin ducked down low, evading the first series of punches aimed for his person, then bringing both blades skyward toward the mans chest once more, trying his best to wrap his weapons in his reiatsu to add some cutting power.
This second weapon wasn't going to last much longer, and after decisive and quick blocks with both of the weapons, Jin felt the blood blade fall apart in his hand, becoming nothing but a puddle of blood again. He sighed, looking back at the beast of a man as his fist came down quickly striking Jin and knocking him backwards. Jin rolled against the ground, his breath huffing looking down at his bloodied hand. He nodded as he started to spread the blood across the black blade. He needed prepare his next attack, and he was hoping that this next strike would force this beast of a man to ascend. That would make things much easier if he could gauge just where his enemy was at in comparison to him in his released state. "C'mon fucker. Don't tell me that's all you got...You must be the weakest Espada. You certainly fight like it. " Taking a note from the mans game himself, Jin was trying to rile him up, anger him into making a stupid mistake. Hopefully he didn't get more powerful the angrier he got...that would make a very bad day for Jin.

While Rudianos’ expression hardened at Jin turning the dog into a weapon, it was more disappointment at the attack failing than anything else. But his expression hid his fatigue, amongst other things. Though the fight had been going for a while, Jin was a pain to keep up with, and if he played his cards right, could run rings around Rudianos. The Espada assumed that the captain had picked up on this, but given how well he was hiding it, he wouldn’t be surprised if Jin did not actually figure out that Rudianos was suffering just as much as he was.
Dual-wielding, while not commonly seen by Rudianos, had been experienced enough to prepare some form of rudimentary countermeasure for it. In a fluid, well-practised motion, he pushed his hands between the blades, and pushed them apart. Unfortunately,, he did not manage to do it correctly – while h did manage to avoid most of the damage, small gashes appeared on his forearms, where the blades had made contact. Though he did not know much of his foe’s Zanpakutō, Rudianso had figured out that it at least had something to do with blood. And allowing a wound to bleed was certainly not a good idea – especially around a Shinigami like Jin.
“Do not seek to anger me, child. Your feeble attempts at enraging me are no more effective than your attacks.” Rudianos was, in essence, evil personified. Jin would have to do a lot better than that in order to rile up the Espada – either that, or just wound him more severely. Rudianos had a thing about being struck by people he deemed more inferior than others, and could actually be considered offended if he actually was. However, Rudianos was not going to lie down and give his foe the chance to. Without warning, he burst forward, and once more attempted to lay into Jin, and make him nothing more than a red stain on the underside of his boot.

Words: 564 Notes: gonna make that fucker ress. Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Jin's figure could be seen as hurt, bloodied, and tired. He hadn't completely recovered from his fight with the primera, nor with his spar with Lucien. The two of them had run the other dry, but this fucker, he was a monster. He wasn't fast, and seemed to avoid using Sonido which stuck out to the captain. Perhaps he wasn't very good at it, or maybe he was like the elder captain Kenpachi; completely devoid in the art at all, he wasn't sure. Jin tried his best at being a well rounded shinigami, good in many things, and it's worked for him so far. His ability to take and avoid damage was greater than many others at his level, but he wasn't the best at dealing damage, evident with the small cuts scattered over the other mans body. But he had a plan.
The arrancar spoke to Jin, and he needn't say more He was obviously immune to smack talk, or at least that form of it. That was all he needed to hear, Jin wasn't about to waste his breath any more with the arrancar. Still, he didn't even know his name. Jin took in a deep breathe, standing straight up and running his forearm across his forehead. He'd have to find out his name before he killed him; before he added another soul to the tree of death. The thought sent a wild grin across the white haired captains features, his lips curling around to show his canines, with his two crimson hued orbs staring at the charging Arrancar. Lee-yu was young, he was inexperienced, and he lacked one other thing.
Jin's ability to take one helluva beating. He didn't move, and he knew the arrancar noted his speed before, but he didn't want to move. He wanted this bastard as close as he could, Jin's eyes noting the dog was was created from the cut as it hung back. The beast would normally charge, but Jin needed it for something else. Jin threw his shikai in the air, opening both of his hands. Ten feet. "Bakudo #42:" Jin needed to time this as perfectly as possible, the beats large frame covering more than five feet each stride of his legs. "Shibireyubi" The mans thundering fist came down as Jin's hands came up, his bakudo attempting to to completely paralyze him where he stood for one simple fact. Dogs, and sword to back.
Jin felt the fist come into contact with his head, sending him straight into the ground. Still, he hadn't taken enough damage from the other man for it to be a TKO, and after hitting the ground he shunpoed behind him, grasping his sword from out of the air forcing it against his arm. He cut himself, releasing the crimson liquid over the ground as it morphed into a second hound. The original beast running up beside Jin. The three of them running to the manly beast. As the distance closed, Jin placed both hands over the hilt, the two dogs leaping into the air, attempting to clasp onto the mans back with their fangs, only to immediately release a blast of reiatsu. Jin's own blade aiming to stab the man into his back, aiming for his spine but with the way he had used his energy and his own fatigue, his aim could easily be off or redirected.

Caught out by Jin’s Bakudo, Rudianos managed to adopt a mildly surprised expression before he succumbed to the effects of the paralysing Kido. While he understood that Jin was captain-level in terms of power, and likely had a decent amount of combat experience, he did not expect the younger fighter to be able to withstand so many blows from him. In fact, he was a little shocked that the man was able to use such a high-evel Kido on him. And, given the difference in their abilities with such arts, it was likely that he would be able to use it to great effect.
Rudianos was helpless to resist as Jin sent the hounds to deal with him, and it took all he had not to show the pain he felt at being done in in such a way. And, though he could not see it, he just knew Jin was preparing an attack – what sort of fool would not, given a chance like this? Fortunately, though Rudianos was not quite at Jin’s level in Kido usage, he was still able to work his way out of the Bakudo. In order to have the hounds release him, Rudianos did something he would have preferred not to do at all. He drew his sword.
Using its sheer size and weight, Rudianos swept the dogs off of his back, turned with the momentum of the sword, and re-aligned the blow that aimed for his spine. However, despite the worst being avoided, the alternative he had taken was still not pleasant at all. It instead cut into his side – not a life-threatening wound, mind, and it would not cripple him. However, this wound did manage to rile him up in a way that Jin’s taunting never would. He stepped close to the Shinigami, and with enough fury to shake a thousand suns, he looked down upon his foe.
“You DARE strike me!” Rudianos’ voice boomed, causing weaker combatants to glance nervously in his direction. Sword now having been sheathed on his back again, he made a grab for Jin’s throat, and would slam him into the floor as much as he could, if he managed to grab hold of him. However, if Jin used Flash Step to dodge, Rudianos would do something else he preferred to avoid using – Sonido. He would appear behind Jin, and as fast as he could manage, would again attempt to get a hold of Jin, and slam him into the floor. This wasn’t cold, calculated brutality – this was just sheer, angry brutishness.

Words: 637 Notes: gonna make that fucker ress. Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! He would be lying if he didn't say he felt some sort of glee when the attacks landed, and the other man bled once more. Of course, this was soon morphed from glee, to utter confusion. Jin had struck this man multiple times before, once in the chest, twice in the forearms, but this was the time that he felt like Jin had struck him? Was it because it wasn't his own foolishness that caused the damage but pure skill? Or was it because he wasn't able to defend against it in time? Jin wasn't sure, but he knew he had hit a nerve, and it made him smile. The other man was obviously feeling the effects of the fight; between the cuts, the fact that he had now drawn his sword, and he was angered beyond belief, Jin knew he had done the right thing.
Or at least, that's what he thought until the beast of a man grabbed Jin by the throat. The force and grip itself wasn't painful; no Jin could take this, but it was what followed that was making Jin cautious about getting close to him after this. The mans sheer strength, and the fact that he was lifting, and slamming his body like a rag doll. That's what was causing Jin serious pain. He could feel each inch of his body hit the ground, and then up again only to come crashing back down into the dirt. He needed to get out of this, and fast. Luckily for him Jin's shikai was seriously putting in work, the blood that had spilled outward giving birth to the fifth dog this fight. This beast leaped toward the mans back, attempting to latch onto his opened arm, to bite down, and then to release a burst of energy like no other. But this man didn't seem the slightest bit ready to give up on his rage-fest. He was sure if given the chance, Jin would be a bloody pile of goop before he was willing to acknowledge any form of pain.
Still, he needed to get away. Jin lifted his left hand against all odds, quickly gathering the energy needed, only to release it once more in the form of a kidou at point blank range. "Hado...#58...Tenran" From his wrist a widening tornado started to spew forward, gathering width, strength, and speed as it left the young captains hand. The speed itself was going to eventually dislodge the two of them in a violent burst of wind. Tumbling against the ground, rolling and quickly catching his breath, Jin needed to capitalize on this. Jin didn't use Shunpo, instead opting for a page by the man and using his feet and speed to rush toward him. At first this was going to see like a lazy, reckless attempt at throwing his life away into the enemy. But as soon as Jin got close enough, He vanished, leaving behind another after image.
He needed it for but a single thing; not to take a hit, not even to keep him distracted long, but just long enough. Jin's shunpo didn't leave him behind the man, to his either side, or even below his front, but instead above him while his sword came down. He swung in such a way for the tip of his sword to elegantly swipe his skin with sheer speed, releasing the stored attack from minutes before. "Ketsueki Zangeki" The attack was fast, and the moment the blade finished it's arc, and a red beam would follow suit, aiming for the same spot that his blade's tip aimed for. He was trying to make the man bleed, enough for him to release himself. Jin wanted to end this soon, and to do so, this man needed to be in his final state.

As powerful and heavy as he was, even Rudianos could not stand against such force at point-blank range. Forced back by the Kido, Rudianos landed flat on his back, and was even made to skid for a foot or two. Taking into account his impressive ability to stay upright after most attacks that hit him, such a feat was something that made Rudianos far more wary of his foe. The wind while it had immobilised him temporarily, had managed to knock some sense into him. Grimacing as he righted himself and got to his feet, Rudianos glared at his foe, attempting to prepare for what came next.
Rudianos charged towards Jin as he rushed, attempting to catch the Soul Reaper off-guard. However, when his fist made contact with someone that probably wasn’t Jin, he got worried. He wasn’t in the best of states, and though Jin wasn’t much better – by the looks of things – he could still potentially cause massive damage to Rudianos. He turned quickly behind him, and looked to his sides, but only managed to look up when it was too late. And, unable to dodge effectively, he instinctively raised his arms, took up a stance, and lowered his head, to try and minimise damage from the incoming blow.
And, while the attack caused but a small portion of the damage it would usually dish out, there was no denying the fact that Rudianos had still been slashed. And it hurt. As did the dogs still attached to him, but with a series of winces and pained grunts, each was torn off and slammed into the floor. Rudianos had had enough – at this rate, it was likely that both of them would fight each other to a standstill, and even then it was more likely that Jin would come out the victor. And, though he knew the captain could easily catch up with his Bankai, Rudianos had to end it before things got worse.
“Prepare yourself, boy,” he spoke, his unsettlingly flat tone mixed with his unmistakeable malice showing once more, “This battle shall end soon, one way or another. I will see to that myself.” Rudianos stood tall, looking down upon Jin, his oozing wounds only serving to make him look even more terrifying. “Annihilate, Omega.” With those words, Rudianos unleashed his true power – and with it, his true form. Though his appearance did not change much, the difference in his abilities would soon become apparent. Without even waiting for Jin to take in his new form, Rudianos launched his first attack his signature Omega Beams. He would not surprised if Jin had never heard of the attack, and simply ignored the beams as they skimmed past him – however, if he wasn’t clued up on the Espada, he wouldn’t know that the attack could loop back around, and hit Jin in the back.

Words: 863 Tags: Dead guy He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Jin once more relished in the fact that he was able to cause damage to the man before him, but this time it was different. He hadn't simply caused damage, but caused the other man to physically react to the damage dealt. His body quivered, he groaned, and the fatigue was evident as it spread over his entire being. This WAS the revenge he needed to cast upon him; this was what Lee-yu would have wanted. The other man to feel the pain that he had caused others, and this moment of realization sent a battle cry across the land. The other shinigami in their own battles could see that they were not out of this battle yet, not by a long shot. But Jin knew he needed to get away at least for a moment. The other man wouldn't be down for long, and he needed to prepare for that moment.
As he shunpoed backwards, Jin's eyes watched as the Arrancar cried out his own battle cry. He seemed ready to do what Jin wanted, but was Jin ready for this feeling? This power. This utter shift in strength. He wasn't sure but he could feel the Arrancars reiatsu spike to a whole other level, he could see that physically he hadn't changed much, but Jin knew better than anyone to not take someone like this, for granted. He took in a deep breath as the last dog of the battle ran up to it's masters side, Jin leaning down running his hand across the beasts back. There were parts of him that wanted to turn it into another weapon, but soon enough his shikai techniques wouldn't be useful, and keeping the dog as a shield would be better suited for his plan coming up.
Before that though Jin needed to act on this. His opponents eyes began to glow a crimson red. very eerily similar to his reiatsu color and from them shot a beam like no other. It wasn't a cero, but it wasn't a bala. This was something else. He was keen on not taking a direct hit from the beam itself, but the energy emitted from it was terrifyingly powerful. He waited, watching and in an instant, Jin shunpoed with the dog leaping to the side as well. For a moment Jin prepared his own sword for his ascension, but the energy wasn't gone. It was still around, and still very powerful. He turned his head as sharply, and as quickly as he could. Fuck me running.... The young captain cursed at himself inwardly, dipping down and grabbing the dog by the scruff of it's neck. Luckily for Jin the beam seemingly turned at sharp corners, and not in a curved motion and this allowed Jin just enough time to pull the dog into the air, and into the beams trajectory.
It wasn't enough to completely block the blast, his body feeling the explosion causing him to bounce backwards and toward his opponent. Jin rolled, blood trickling down his forehead from hitting the ground one too many times. He needed to stop this fight as soon as he could, and in one fell swoop he shunpoed backwards, giving the man and himself about forty feet of space. His eyes were cold, but sincere. "I won't lie Arrancar. I will kill you for what you have done here; to my friends, and to my home. But..." The words came slowly, but he felt as if the Arrancar would be intrigued enough to hear the rest. His right hand raised with the blade pointed inward, Jin grinned and finished his first speech of the fight. "My name is Jin Hoshigawa, captain of the tenth division. I have enjoyed this fight, and this...is my bankai!"
Then and in one fluid motion the blade plunged into his gut, exiting the other side. The blood from the wound crept upward creating a pair of blood wings roughly fifteen feet in length. The blood that hit the ground started to curdle, and the blood crept along the blades edge morphing it. "Bankai!" As the word left his lips his reiatsu hit a peak like no other, and the sword was ripped aggressively from his stomach while behind him a colossal tree was given birth. The blade that left his stomach was also radically different, the blade now pegged with hooks almost like fangs while the hilt dug into his hand, forcing the crimson liquid to pour outward. Jin took in a deep breath, his bankai's name being recited. "Zetsumei zenchizennou no ki" Or the all knowing tree of death. The wings that sprouted from his back flapped with his eyes staring forward. This was it, the final act. And with one quick shunpo, Jin was gone.
His sword came up from the ground, toward the other man trying to spray his face with dirt and rock. His motion flawless as he used the momentum to shunpo to his back, bringing his now raised blade back down, and toward the mans shoulder. His goal simple; hook the mans back with the lowest handing hook and drag it south to utterly rip his back open.

“Impressive. Nobody has ever managed to block my Omega Beams before. I wonder if you can remain as agile.” Rudianos pulled back his fist to prepare a barrage of Bala, but stopped to listen to what Jin had to say. He knew it was unwise, and that Killing Jin where he stood was probably a better idea, but he was intrigued by the possibility of seeing another Bankai. And it intrigued him, even before the actual Bankai was activated. Jin had thrust his own blade into himself – an odd method of activation, Rudianos noted, but nothing that would shake him that much.
“Jin Hoshigawa, captain of the tenth division? Interesting. Then allow me to return the favour, so that you may know my name before you perish! I am Rudianos Illyria, the Noveno Espada, and the Espada of Calamity!” Rudianos retained a look of hatred that would force weak opponents to cower in fear, and to back away from him without even bothering to raise their weapon further. However, whether Jin registered it or not, he did not know – he did, however, manage to turn around just in time to activate Omega Skin, and he managed to raise his hand to catch the blow.
Unfortunately for him, Rudianos had not turned fast enough to catch the blade as he would have liked. Had he done that, Omega Skin’s ability to negate a portion of an attack’s kinetic force would have likely completely blocked Jin’s attack. However, as it stood, Rudianos had only managed to block most of the damage, and a small cut appeared on his palm. Rudianos noticed the trickle of blood, and though his expression remained unchanged, he knew what this development implied. He had long since figured out that Jin’s Zanpakutō relied on blood, and though he did not know the more complex workings, he knew enough to know that bleeding as a result of it would be a bad idea. More than usual, anyway.
Rudianos, in response, drew back his fist once more, and launched a Bala as he attempted to punch Jin. Rudianos’ massively increased stats would likely make sure that, should the attack hit, it would hurt far more than it usually would. A powered-up Bala, combined with an immensely powerful blow, would certainly prove quite painful. His expression had since hardened – this fight was going to be tough. He had only barely managed to stop Jin’s blow, and even then he suspected he only managed to outdo Jin’s speed by slowing him down. And that wasn’t to mention the – frankly, a little intimidating – reiatsu increase he felt.
