The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly Rou had traveled some way from Hueco Mundo to come here to Okinawa. Raijin had given her some trouble about her looks after she cut her own hair, which he had go and fix for her even though the ends were still very uneven. Rou had insisted she liked it this way. She didn't like short hair. It couldn't blow around in the wind while she was in a heroic stance as well if it was short. So now half of it was trimmed short, the rest reaching her waist in some points. If she didn't look like a kiddish mess before she did now. But she was about to fix all of that with the help of a certain fish she knew was around this area somewhere. The people at least made it seem that way when she came looking around Japan. They all said Okinawa. That was the place to go when one was looking for a Ningyo. Okay she had overheard them saying something about it while she pouted on a dock of Kogashima. some kids were talking when an older guy told them where they were. Just as soon as she figured out what an Okinawa was.
It turned out it wasn't that far. Rou stowed away on a ship that was heading there. She read it on a sign, because yes she could read. A while later she was getting off on the shore and running to the nearest beach with not a lot of people hanging around. She didn't want anyone stealing her ningyo. She needed its power to be forever pretty with youth so Raijin would be quiet about how he didn't like her hair when she loved it so much. Honestly that guy made her do all sorts of things. If it were anyone else but Rou they would have been annoyed by all the things he put her through. Their hand would still be hurting from nearly being ripped off and they'd be whining about bruising left over from a monster hollow. Not Rou though. No way. She was the hero and she could handle it like it was nothing.
She stood out in the ocean, her shoes and socks left back on the beach. Rou watched the water around her feet with a close eye. She had been doing this for about five minutes now and the only human face looking back her was her own. No fish with the face of a human for her to devour. She puffed out her cheeks, placing her hands on her hips. This was hard. She hated waiting for things like this. She wanted to go back home already and brag about her explorations to RaiRai or Gehnie. Maybe even Zelena would hear it. "She would be so proud of me! Maybe I should catch another to bring back to her! She'd really like that!" he squealed loudly, because thats a hero thing to do of course. Rou never even thought about being subtle. She had been attacked for just being in this world before but The Florist wasn't here so she didn't think that maybe she would upset anyone else with her presence. She just wanted some ningyo. "Neh! Come on Fishes!!" she whined, pouting again. Rou wasn't an arrancar made for patience. HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 14 BUK:19 HOH:19

Thurstan stepped casually across the sandy beach at Okinawa, his hands resting comfortably in the pockets of his jacket and his head and shoulders held high. He continued to take his time as he enjoyed the cool breeze and the ocean’s salty aroma. He’d been travelling around for a while, and been rather busy. There’d been an unnatural influx of hollows lately and ridiculously stupid number of quincies popping out from the brink of extinction. Yeah. Loads of work. What fun.
As he continued to make his trek across the beach, he took notice of the ships coming in to port. Some military aircraft carriers and a good number of large transport vessels seemed to be coming in today. He couldn’t tell quite why there were so many military ships, but he just assumed that they must be dropping some navy boys off on leave. But more importantly than anything else, he was interested in the planes on those carriers. He wouldn’t mind trading his motorcycle in for one of those: sleek, slim, sexy, and fast. Military jets were everything he loved and more, no matter what country they came from. Unlike that piece of junk, he thought as a basic SUV drove through the parking lot by the beach.
He stopped for a moment, lost in thought and looking down at his feet on the sand. He’d managed to keep a distance from the water but the moon was out today and the tide was slowly drifting inward. It was late too, and would be nightfall in a few hours. He didn’t much like the daylight, despite his own disposition. He still preferred moonlight and cool to warm and sunny. It was too bad that the moon wouldn’t be out for very long tonight, seeing as it was already high in the sky, chasing the sun over the clouds.
He continued to walk, but didn’t take his eyes off the ground in front of him. After just a few more meters he came across a pair of white boots with nice long black socks. They rested just a few inches from where the tide was about to sit. They’d be whisked away by the vast see in a few minutes. It was then that he did what was most instinctive to him. He picked them up and looked around for an owner. There were plenty of people on the beach, but not many in the water, which was normal for this time of day.
It took him a moment, but he finally noticed someone that these might’ve belonged to: a long, short…a blonde haired girl with a short skirt and oversized shirt was standing out in the water, watching the waves crash against her legs.
“Hey,” Thurstan called out, “Blondie! Are these yours?” He raised the boots in the air and waved them slightly, having stuffed the socks inside.

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly Where were they? This was taking forever. There was all kinds of seaweed and normal boring fish but not a single Ningyo had shown its face to the espada. Things could never just go easy for ROu could they? She had to get mauled to prove anything or she had to wait around for things to happen, which usually never even got around to happening. Maybe she needed to be looking for good luck charms instead of Fish of Youth. She had just gotten all the way out here though and as far as she knew this island didn't have any of her known good luck charms. It would be a huge set back to travel all the way back to the mainland and figure out just where she generally was.
She stomped her foot down before something caught her attention. Behind her some one was yelling out to a blondie of some kind. Rou got easily distracted do she turned around and as it turned out she was the one being talked to. That was strange. People normally couldn't see her at all. She blinked a few times before quickly nodding. "Yeah!" she shouted in case eh couldn't see her well. She wasn't going to lie. Those were hers. She didn't know why he wanted to know but he had his answer. People were awfully strange sometimes. He could put the back where he found them now. She wasn't ready to come out yet.
Rou turned her back on the man again and went back to her watching. There was still nothing. She took a few steps to her left, looking right throguh the water that was suddenly moving backward. She didn't pay that fact too much attention, much to preoccupied to notice the wave that was coming up on her. It wasn't anything grand but it still went two feet above the tercera's head. Suddenly all the speed she had seemed a bit useless as the wave crashed on top of her, knocking her right off of her feet and sending her under the water, out of the sight of that one guy that seemed to have to ability to see her. She was gone for a good minute or so. Did she die? Was it that easy to kill off the third strongest espada? If so then the Soul Society was in for a treat.
Her head shot up out of the water and she took a huge gasp of air. Oh no. She wasn't dead just yet. Sorry shinigami. She wasn't where she mad been standing before, instead nearly on the shore on her hands and knees as she got her balance back. She got up to her feet and made the quick steps to get up to dry sand. She looked like a mess, Her hair was soaked and stringy looking, hanging in her face and sticking to her drenched clothes that had by some miracle stayed on, even if her shirt had long since fallen off of her shoulders. She could see enough to spot the man that had taken her boots then she glanced out to the water. "Why don't you come help me?" she questioned, not having any idea that was a strange thing to ask. He didn't even know what she had been doing. She smiled at him. Lucky for him she didn't care to sense him out and get all the shinigami vibes. He was just some guy. Zelena said not to play with food but that had been about relationships. She just wanted a fish. It was completely different. HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 14 BUK:19 HOH:19

She was odd, the way her awkward body shifted to look at him. She called back to him, but then simply continued to take her time in the water. Huh. That’s weird. Thurstan just lowered the shoes back down to his side and backed away from the incoming tide. He turned away and noticed a bunch of people staring at him in confusion. He looked down at the boots, then back out to the girl and again at the people. Oh great. She’s not human and I’m in a gigai. Marvelous.
If she wasn’t a human though, then what was she? The visored turned to look at her. Certainly not a Shinigami, she was wearing such casual clothing. He wondered for a second what else she could be… Humans could see Fullbringers and Quincy, and she didn’t reek of Hollow, nor did she look like one. Instead, she seemed to emanate and aura similar to his own, a visored… or an arrancar. Well, it didn’t matter much to him what she was in the end. She hadn’t tried to kill him or anyone else, so for all he knew they could be besties in a month.
Suddenly, she was swept under the see by a descent wave. Thurstan’s first reaction was to flinch and bolt to her, but after the flinch he stopped himself. She wasn’t human, he had no reason to worry. Besides, he didn’t need to deal with all the people seeing him carrying an invisible woman that he’d created in his imagination. If he was lucky, someone in the crowd was a fullbringer or a quincy and he wouldn’t have to worry too much about being embarrassed.
The freelancer didn’t move much except to avoid the rest of the wave as it pushed the water a meter past the tide point and washed the little blonde girl up onto the shore. Once she was closer, it wasn’t hard to tell what she was. Arrancar. Still, it didn’t matter to him. She was cute, which made up for it, mostly. Her hair was completely chaotic and hung at different lengths. Not to mention the fact that it was all now soaked and stuck to her clothes. Her shirt was falling off on both shoulder and hardly clung to her chest. He did the first thing that came to his mind.
Thurstan placed her shoes down beside him, then reached out and lifted her shirt sleeves up to cover her up some more. He thought the stitch mark on her nose was cute and he’d certainly never seen a barcode on someone like that before. She assumed the latter marking was bigger but the rest was covered by her hair.
“Why don’t you tell me your name first?” he asked as he fixed her shirt and started to slip off his jacket to give to her, “Then I’ll see what I can do.”

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly It seemed the first thing on this man's agenda was to fix her clothes. He was taking care of her like Raijin always had to d. She pursed her lips at being babied or something. She could take care of herself. She shook her head quickly, sending droplets of water flying off the ends of her hair in all directions due to its sloppy cut. Now her hairs wasn't drenched just a completely mess and damp, sticking up in some places, knotted together in others. At least she could see better. A good amount it actually managed to stay out of her face, a few chunks coming right down the middle but both of her eyes could finally be seen. Next she was shaking her arms, leaving whips of salt water to fly from her soaked sleeves. She smiled up at the man who didn't seem to mind giving her some help. All she had to do was give him her name. Rou was an expert on introducing herself.
She bounded back a few feet, spinning around when she got to the spot she wanted. One of her hands went up in the air, the other going to her waist. She stuck out one hip, bringing her reaching hand down in a clenched fist, stopping at her own eye level. "My name is Rou Alloway" she stated, her eyes closing as she smiled coolly, or what was coolly until she began to giggle with her joy. She crossed her arms over her chest in an X shape before bringing them both down to her sides and striking a dramatic pose, looking out over the water which would have been cool if there was any wind and she wasn't such a mess right now. "I'm the one true hero and I've come seeking something terribly important" she explained, finally dropping her pose and looking back to the blonde man.
She made a grab for his hand, expecting him to come and help her now. "I've been looking for ningyo and I heard they were some around here" she vaguely explain, like he would really know what a ningyo was. She began her trek back out to her previous spot and if she had gotten his hand she would be pulling him along with her now, not bothering to give him time to get ready to actually get into the water. He probably still had his shoes on and everything. Well he had offered her some help. Wasn't like he could go back on that now.
"Neh~ What's your name?" she looked over her shoulder at him, sending him a huge smiley while her eyes looked over him curiously. He wasn't bad looking. He just looked like a lot of humans of this time. He wore cool clothes and had coolly styled blonde hair. Rou thought that he could stand to have something a bit more unique about him but she wasn't really sure if he was that interesting yet. Only so many people could be special enough to be in the main story line. Maybe he was just a background character that wasn't supposed to be too memorable. That wasn't important now though. Thurstan just watched a splendid awe as Rou introduced herself so colorfully. She was weird, to say that least, but that wasn’t a bad thing. Most of the people he considered friends were practically insane, anyway. He smiled at everything she said and all her quirky motions. She looked ridiculous, really, with her damp hair and wet clothing. The one true hero, huh?
He couldn’t quite tell if he liked her yet, but she was certainly interesting, especially for an Arrancar. He actually didn’t have much time to think or react before she grasped his wrist and began tugging him into the water. She had a surprisingly strong grip for having such a fragile looking frame. He managed to throw his jacket away onto the beach before he felt the cool salt water soak his shoes and climb up the length of his jeans. It was irritating, yeah, but he couldn’t help but smile.
She said something about ningyo. He’s heard the name before but couldn’t for the life of him remember what they were. Well, apparently something important to her. Thurstan thought about going back to the beach and leaving her here. After taking to consideration how he was already soaked from the knees down, he decided: What the hell. Why not? He hadn't planned on getting wet today, but at least his jacket would be mostly unharmed. He liked that thing way too much.
He looked into the water and searched for…something, then glanced back up at her when she asked him his name.
“Trace,” he said with a kind smile, “and it’s nice to meet you Miss Hero. Now, what do these ningyo look like?”

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly She gave him an odd look as he asked what a ningyo. Then she remembered she had vast knowledge about these things which most people just didn't. She smiled and faced him fully to get his attention. "A ningyo is a special fish around here that has a normal fish body but its face is just like a human's" the arrancar explained, not caring how crazy she sounded now. She knew they existed. That was all she needed to be out here. On the other hand though this could mess up her help. This was one of those times when people didn't seem to believe anything she said anymore and back away when they had the chance. This guy wouldn't do that though. He was a much more reasonable man right? There was some hope for some people while others she had to show off to prove a point to.
Rou turned her back back on the man she had dragged out to the cold water, looking back to the water to continue her hunt. There would be a ningyo any time now. "If you eat part of a ningyo then you get eternal youth and beauty" she gave a little bit more insight as to why she was looking for such an odd creature that in reality she had zero chance of finding. "Its probably silly to want that, but some people won't stop bugging me about things like that" she giggled. Even though that was one of the last things people made fun of her about it was one she paid more attention to. She had no reason to listen to them tell her she wasn't a real hero. This guy hadn't reprimanded her on it yet now that she thought about it.
She straightened up and faced trace again, staring at him for a moment before she bent forward, hands resting on her knees as she looked up to him with that childishly innocent smile. "Neh Trace isn't a bad guy" it might have come out of the blue but it was just how everything worked with Rou. She tended to bring weird things up at weird times and that was just fine with her. "Maybe if we find one soon we can get a second ningyo for Tracers hm? How does that sound?~ We need to work really fast and find one though." she already had a nickname that didn't sound like a cheesy villain name. That was a good sign coming from her. She didn't think Zelena would minf to much if she allowed herself one friend of... well whatever he was. She still hadn't taken the time to sense him out. She didn't need to to know he wasn't a villain in her story.

This was the point that most guys would’ve given up and walked away, trying their absolute best to keep from pissing the girl off or making her cry. She was an Arrancar, after all, and she was definitely stronger than Thurstan. Instead, he just smiled at her. She was fun and almost adorable in the way she acted and spoke. To top it all off, she was looking for Japan’s pseudo-equivalent to the Fountain of Youth, something that he’d dismissed as foolishness long ago. As nice as it would be to have a fountain of youth, it wasn’t necessary for the likes of them. They were technically immortal anyway, until they got cut down.
Still, Thurstan’s smile was completely genuine. He glanced back at the shore to make sure his jacket was still there. It was, which was good, because if it wasn’t he’d have some ass-kicking to add to his checklist for the day. He could always save these things for later, besides she’d already given him a nickname. Tracers, huh? That’s cute. He actually thought it was, too. A nickname based off a nickname. It worked though, thanks to the fact that it was oddly endearing.
“Thanks, Rou-Rou. You’re not a bad girl, either.”
He hadn’t really noticed how uncomfortable his shoes were, until he decided to take a step further into the water. It was irritating at best, but annoying nonetheless. Thurstan reached down and untied his shoes under the water, slipping them each off and stuffing his socks inside. He then took a second to fling them back onto the shore. He felt his toes sink into the sand and the water rush over his skin. It was soothing. He hadn’t done this in years, despite all the free time he actually had.
“If you really have the time than I’d love a ningyo too.” The visored started looking down through the water, not really noticing the next big wave until it had hit him square in the chest. He almost fell over but managed to keep from getting sucked under and instead tried to blow it off and, after checking to see if Rou was okay, continued to search for the nonexistent animal.
It took him a few seconds to notice, but he was actually looking for one of these Ningyo, not just pretending. Weird.

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly Trace didn't say anything weird about what she was looking for. That was surprising to her. It made her like this human or whatever even more. She giggled happily and looked down to the water. "Of course I'm not bad. I'm the hero remember?" she teased lightly. She had told him that after all. She looked up and smiled, watching as he tossed his shoes back. She had completely forgot he had shoes on in the first place. That had to be awful to wear them. She'd definitely make it up to him for all of his help. She had come for one ningyo but now she was set on finding a second one for this man. "I have all kinds of time! We'll find one for you for sure. They'll show up any minute and then we can cook them up~" she assured him with a firm nod.
She turned when something caught her eye. It wasn't a ningyo as it turned out but it allowed her to see another on coming wave. She wasn't going to get knocked back by the force of the sea this time! She was already dripping wet so she didn't hesitate to dive down under the wave, feeling it pull her slightly but she kept her place. She actually stayed under water for a few moments, probably making Trace think she had got swept away again. She held her breath for as long as she could, looking around when suddenly a large piece of seaweed was carried with the current, slapping right over her eyes. She came up from the water, gasping and arms flailing as she reached out for anything.
"Tracers help!" she finally got hold of the seaweed, tearing it away from her face. When she could see again she looked around, blinking a few times. She wasn't really sure what had just happened but she just stood still like nothing had happened. Slowly she turned around, looking back down to the water and hoping her new friend wouldn't say anything about her all but heroic and brave episode right there. She just got a little nervous was all. It was understandable right?
"Do you see anything yet?" she asked after a few moments, turning around again. It was really hard for her to keep standing still like their task required them to. She was bouncing back and forth on her heels and feet. She inched closer and closer to him until suddenly she was beside him. This was getting more and more difficult for her. "Neh! I bet we have to go out further!" She suddenly leaped up and dove down under the water. She was swimming out further now, leaving the man behind even though she thought he'd be coming right behind her. HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 14 BUK:19 HOH:19

Tracy just laughed, that was the most he could do. Rou’d flailed about and shot up out of the water with a bunch of seaweed on her face. It was adorable and completely hilarious. He didn’t want to be rude, though, so the laugh was brief, but it was pretty happy. This was fun. He was actually enjoying himself doing something other than drinking, reading, or riding a bike. He was having fun with a girl that wasn’t mostly naked. Although he could swear she blushed when she’d seen him laughing. He stopped when she started to inch closer to him.
She got closer and closer and closer, until Thurstan felt like she was going to leach onto him. He wasn’t uncomfortable, per say, but it seemed to make him wonder at her purpose. “What are you-” She was still looking for the ningyo before she suddenly threw herself into the water and started swimming further out. She didn’t come across as the patient type. He was at the point where he didn’t care much about getting wet, so he unbuttoned his shirt as quickly as he could, revealing his slim athletic build, and tossed the clothing towards the shore, only to have it fall short and land at the edge of the water. It was immediately soaked, but the extra weight from the water seemed to keep it from being swept away.
Meh. Fuck it. It's just a shirt Thurstan thought as he turned and dove into the water. The cool rush of the ocean met him head on as he swam further out to sea. The water was cool, but it smelled like fish, which wasn’t as pleasant. Still, he pried his eyes opened and tolerated the brief burning sensation of the salt in his eyes before searching for Rou. There she was, just a few meters ahead of him still swimming. He swung his head about, searching for the fish with the face of a man. He’d find it, even if it didn’t exist. He didn’t have much else to do at this point, aside from keeping Rou entertained, but she seemed to do a decent job of that on her own.
He was just letting her lead the way and so he followed close behind.

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly She finally came to a stop, looking back behind her and noticing how far our she had swam. Generally people didn't come out this far unless they were on some kind of boat or board. Rou was fine though and it seemed Tracers was too so what did she have to worry about? what was going to happen? A shark attack? Silly sharks couldn't even see her probably. She took in a deep breath and dived down under the water, not so much paying attention to the salt in the water that irritated her skin and eyes as she looked around for the fish she had come for. Still there was nothing. Rou reached to bottom, sifting her hands through the sand and finding nothing but an upset crab who snapped at her, or in her direction, before it stormed off elsewhere. No ningyo though. Rou looked around a moment longer before she turned, kicking off from the sand and propelling herself back up to the surface, coming up looking like a mess again, hair in her face and her shirt weighed down heavily.
"Neh do you think we're on the wrong side?" she questioned, turning to look at.... face Tracers or where she thought he was. She didn't get why they weren't finding any ningyo. The only thing that made sense was that maybe they were on the wrong side of this island. She reached out and moved her hair so she could give the man a curious look. She pursed her lips, not looking too happy with her new realization. She probably seemed really silly right now, looking for something in the wrong place yet so close. "Is it a really big island? Will we have to travel for days?" she suddenly looked really worried. She couldn't stay gone from Las Noches that long. She probably shouldn't have even been gone this long. Wendingos could have been attacking the palace and she wouldn't be there to protect it.
Rou looked around frantically. She needed to find two ningyo really fast. She had gone and worried herself about her Queen and her fellow knights. There was no way they could get by without her. She was the one that knew all the tricks. They'd run around getting beheaded. That was no good. None at all. "Neh you know the dance to get rid of Wendingos right?" she quickly asked. If Tracers said he knew then maybe her fellow espada also had some clue of what to do and would be okay. If that was the case she didn't need to worry so much. She had taught a lot to everyone whether they listened or not. Rou swam over to him, making a grab for his arms as she looked up to him with hopeful, pleading eyes. She didn't want to be the reason why her friends had gotten swallowed up by deformed demons. It might have seemed like a strange thing to worry about. Tracers probably had no idea what she was even talking about. Rou was serious for once though. HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 14 BUK:19 HOH:19

Thurstan popped up from the water and tried to look back at the shore. It took him a bit longer than he’d liked – water tended to be rather disorienting, especially when it moved as much as the ocean – but he managed to catch the pier with his eye and follow it back to the island. His hair was sticking to his cheeks and neck and he could feel the weight of his jeans tugging him downward. Being in a gigai certainly made things harder, not to mention that the people on the pier and the beech could see him. There was still plenty of light, so that wasn’t an issue. He was just worried that somebody would freak out about how far away he was.
“Do you think we’re on the wrong side?” Thurstan had no idea how to answer. He was really just playing along, after all, and didn’t know much about the ningyo. Most of the literature he’d read had been western, only dipping slightly into Indian and Japanese writings. He had no idea what the ningyo were, really, and it just made his gut flip when she asked him the question. He didn’t want to disappoint her or make himself look stupid. He made a decision, “Maybe they only come out at night or during a certain part of the year. I really don’t know, Rou.”
He couldn’t help but frown when Rou looked into eyes with such a pleading and hopeful expression on her face. He thought he knew what she was talking about, but just assumed that the little arrancar was pronouncing the name wrong. Wendigos, from what he’d read in the story books, were these great monsters that commonly stalked their prey in the harsh winters of Canada. They were said to be the things that humans turned into when they adopted the taboo practice of cannibalism. They looked like holocaust victims and smelled like death. Trace had always assumed that the myth came from a particular type of hollow, probably with the ability to possess humans and deform their bodies, making them scrawny and grey-toned with elongated faces, and, in some cases, add extra limbs.
Despite the knowledge he’d gained on the creatures from the thousands of books he’d read throughout the centuries, he still had no clue about the ritual that the humans used to keep the beasts away. A frown fell upon his face. “I’m sorry, Rou, but I don’t know the dance. Why the sudden worry?”

Instead of immediately talking to them, like he was sure would be the less creepy move, he stayed with his head just barely above the water and watched them for awhile, unsure of when to make his move. Hannibal was sure that the magic couldn't happen if he went in just then. He waited a bit, until he was able to make all of his magic happen. Until that time came, he was only going to listen to them. Listen and wait, because he was sure he was totally not being creepy.
Apparently Rou wanted to dance with this guy to rid theselves of something he had never heard of. Honestly, this exchange was upsetting him. Espada higher than him needed to be fierce. She was being anything but fierce, and it was not floating so well with him. Being below someone so idiotic, yet apparently she gets around. The others above him at least were frightening in their own ways, except for her. Maybe it was her inferior gender? Or the fact that she was a serious retard who thought she was a medieval knight or some shit. All he about her right now, though, was that she needed to do something ferocious to even be considered above him in his eyes.
Hannibal eyed the shinigami with her, wondering what he could do to him to bring out a beastly side of her. The guy was pretty attractive, not like how his brother was, but it was still something to go off of. Hannibal took this as his opportunity to do something fun. He slowly emerged from his spot in the water and walked towards the shinigami, trying to keep himself from laughing at what he was about to do. He stopped just behind the man and pressed his body close to the other male's. Hannibal then hugged the male from behind, trying to make this as uncomfortable for the other as possible.
"Good morning, honey. Why'd you leave me alone in bed? I missed you this morning." Hannibal tried to smile as sincerely as he could possibly fake, not even caring if he was going to be pushed off or ignored. Although it seemed slightly impossible to ignore an instance like that happening to you so suddenly. Hannibal was going to try to keep this as interesting for himself as possible, no matter the cost.

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly This was bad. Tracers made it clear that he didn't know what ritual dance she was talking about and Rou furrowed her brows. This wasn't good at all. She looked around in a panicky manner, not sure what she should be doing now. Bad things could have been happening back in her kingdom and she could do nothing about it. She released the man and was about to make a straight swim for the shore as fast as she could when something caught her attention. There was something.. familiar. She froze up, looking over her shoulder, thinking that was where it was coming from. She didn't see anything though. That same moment something made a sound from the water and Rou turned around in time to see arms enveloping her new friend, her eyes wide with a bit of fear. What was that?
Then she saw the face of that person and heard that voice and instantly her mood was changed. It was Hannibal of course. Who else would it have been? It had been him that she felt before and he was coming to say hi. He was always friendly with people. He was giving Tracers a hug out of nowhere like the nice guy he was. "Neh Hannah~" she greeted, suddenly smiling again with the weight of her world no longer on her shoulders. Hannibal was safe and fine and right in front of her as proof. That was all she needed in order to know that nothing was going wrong back where they came from. That reminded her of something though. "Oi. Hannah remembers the dance for Wendigos I showed him right?" she asked, swimming up to the pair and putting her hands on Tracer's shoulders which she used to prop herself up and look at Hannibal directly. She gave him a hopeful look, green eyes looking into his soul with great expectations. He must have listened to her and learned right? The things she said were very important for their survival and everyone knew it. She hoisted herself up even farther, putting a lot of weight on her poor friend's shoulders even if she was rather light.
That reminded her of something else."Oh yeah right! Neh Hannah this is Tracers" she nodded to the blonde that Hannibal had grabbed like he really wanted or needed and introduction. Then she leaned her head back to look at Thurstan, making a nod behind him toward Hannah. "Tracers that's Hannah. He's another friend of mine". There her introductions were all done with. She smiled and let go of the man, pushing back some to give them some space because she din't really like being that close anyway. "Did Hannah come to look for Ningyo's too?" she asked curiously, tilting her head in a somewhat confused manner. Wouldn't he ask her where to look if he needed to find something? She was the expert here. It was all a bit strange in Rou's opinion. What was he doing here and why did he act like he knew Tracer's already? HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 14 BUK:19 HOH:19

He’d felt the presence of another arrancar some time ago, but Thurstan didn’t care to act on it. In all likelihood, it didn’t matter. Their war was with the soul society, not him or the rest of the living world. Still, despite feeling the arrancar’s presence, he didn’t expect the thing to sneak up on him. Rather than react like he normally would when he felt the arms wrap themselves around his torso, and the other body press closely against his bare back, he tensed up. His whole upper body went stiff and he even felt himself stop breathing, especially when he felt the breath on his ear. Then the voice came. It was a man. He flinched, almost pulling himself away, but still hung stiffly in the water.
“Uh… I’m sorry but I…what?” Was all he could push out of his mouth before Rou starting babbling again. He was being hugged from behind by a male arrancar named Hannah. That wasn’t even the start of it. If he got into the whole mythical creatures game that Rou was playing, Thurstan was ready to just sink to the bottom of the ocean and vanish into the mud. This was already a weird evening, but the molestation was not what he’d planned. The visored was surrounded by a pair of creepy arrancars. He thought that Rou was cute, yeah, and he wouldn’t mind spending time with her again, but this new guy, Hannah…
As Rou introduced them, Thurstan started to wiggle free, only to have Rou push him down into the water. It was unintentional, yeah, but even shinigami couldn’t breathe under water. He held his breath as the little blonde hero put even more weight on him, dunking his head beneath the waves. He couldn’t hear a word she said after introducing them; everything was just very blurry and muffled. At least he wasn’t being molested any more...
