APPEARANCE: Nobility in her human life has shaped the young girl into a model figure, her posture strong and demanding. Her entire nature has revolved around the responsibility of becoming the best that anyone could become; a presence that people could look at and define as the epitome of human society. Though she had no memory of her nobility, it still coursed in her body as habit and nature now, built in more than just practice, but through a lifestyle. Her image is one of extreme self-awareness. Her body kept in peak condition and everything she controls is kept in pristine condition.
Long blonde hair beset her small slender face reaches down to the small of her back, brushed and groomed to exact standards that leave it a flowing sleek image of serenity. Her eyes peer under carefully trimmed straight bangs which stop just short of her temples, where her hair is grown out naturally just beyond her shoulders to rest in front. Although dependent on the occasion it may be sported differently, the alternatives all sorted for various occasions. One of her favourites for combat being tied back into a long ponytail, her bangs left free while just the back is tied to contain its flow. While more mild occasions will cause her to bun her hair up, a more formal controlled look which she rarely undertakes due to its restrictions. The majority of her time however, all is left untied to flow freely.
Youthful skin set upon the entirety of the model show no blemishes or even scars despite her active nature in battle. A very light tan covering her from head to toe in a light golden tint, just enough so most wouldn’t consider her pale by any nature. Her nails remain uncolored, though they are groomed with small extensions and a protective gloss layer.
Kimiko has an agile strong frame, sleek and well-toned for her height. The strength of her being an aspect that most wouldn’t consider with as sleek a body as she has trained, her body void of any masculine muscles, instead her strength laying beneath her skin. Her face is one to match, slim in appearance and might be considered slightly small, but very feminine. Her lips are thin and thin but a lush shade of pink which contrasts nicely with her lighter skin, her nose is petite but even and appropriate for her face. Her eyes are bright and strong, her iris a deep shade of violet that contrasts brilliantly. Her ears aside her face are small as well, resting nicely across the nape of her neck but hidden behind hair most of the time.
Rarely will the young lady take up any official garb of Soul Society, only her Captain’s robe. The uniform felt far too restricting for her nature, instead pertaining to a more instinctual type of dress code. Something she has once again retained from her human life, although unknowingly. Her current wardrobe consisted of several high quality business shirts, skirts, jackets and long pants. All of which showing a class of nobility and distinct wealth. Several trinkets lining her wrists and neck, which again all change depending on the day, with no real average or normal outfit for her to wear.
Since obtaining her Zanpakuto, Kimiko has kept them in exactly the same place, finding their position both suitable and useful. Allowing her several forms of attacks and able to withdraw both blades in different styles dependent on the situation. One remains across the small of her back, the hilt to the right just past her hip for easy access. The other rests diagonally across her back, the hilt above her left shoulder while the tip rests near her right waist next to the other’s hilt. Having a dual Zanpakuto often brings eyes to her when she is wearing them, and often she will only fight with one until she has deemed the opponent necessary for two, to which she is extremely deadly and versatile.
LIKES:Quiet Noise is complicated, annoying and abrasive. Quiet is peaceful and productive, an affinity towards silence often causes the Captain to a preferred silence. Conversation and the occasional noisy moments not included, when it comes to a natural environment then the quieter is going to be her choice.
Combat The beating of the heart, the unexpected outcome and the severity of everything being on the line has strong appeal. Without a doubt one of her favorite activities, sparring or serious with the risk of death, it doesn’t matter the cost as long as that thrill comes to her. Offered or given the chance, she will always bend towards combat like the oceans and the moon.
Challenges There’s an inherent risk with a challenge that pushes you to the limit of what you’re trying to achieve, or at least gives you a rough goal to work towards. That risk and reward system works wonders to motivate the Captain, even more so when the task at hand requires the best of her effort, the satisfaction that what you’re doing needs your whole attention gives her purpose. Challenges give her life a purpose, without them things would be dull.
Technology Complications become simplicities, the fascination and sheer advances made in technology make her wonder exactly where the world is headed in its current stage. If the world is being drawn into a dark abyss of simplicity, destroying a lot of good aspects that people portray or have to work towards to achieve, leaving only bad habits and laziness in its wake. Though not without huge benefits, medicine, machinery etc.
Squad Eleven Squad Eleven, the squad of Swordsmanship and Melee Combat. She couldn’t ask for a squad more appropriate for her, well maybe but not entirely, though not technically swordsmanship when her Shikai and Bankai are released, she has tremendous skill with any and all weapons. Melee combat fits, her gauntlets and greaves being a favorable weapon, and you couldn’t get more melee than hands and feet.
Fresh air and nature Her favorite environment without a doubt, the serenity in such a place as a forest or field, to her there’s not many other places she would prefer to spend her time. The destruction of nature being one of the harder things for her to have witnessed as time has strolled by. There are still a few places left that she can find a simple and pure bliss without company or interruption.
DISLIKES:Idiots If there’s one that thing Kimiko lacks tolerance for, it’s idiots. To her there’s a difference between ignorance and stupidity. Not knowing something is okay, but not having the intelligence for common sense or even the wits to follow basic knowledge or instruction, just irritates her, more often than not forcing an annoyed reaction and her flat out leaving.
Disrespectful Anyone disrespectful in any matter has a surefire way of getting onto Kimi’s temper quickly, respect is something you work for and earn, and those who don’t abide by that are worse than scum. One of her greatest pet-peeves easily, even nearing the top of the list her hatred for it is that great.
Filth Her hatred of filth, in retrospect, comes from her human life, again unknowingly however. Her concern over a quality appearance often dictates lack of filth and a general dislike of it. Muck, grime, garbage are all included however, all filthy and unimaginably disgusting to the Captain.
Arrancar A quite obvious dislike for Arrancar, scum that deserve no less than the sharp edge of her sword. There is no scale here, it is simply pure hatred and dislike for the filthy uncaring murdering sluts. It really is that simple, they kill, they rape, and they do bad shit which comes to form the perfect recipe for Kimi to willingly slaughter them all.
Torture and abuse Is there really much else to say, some of the most vile and repulsive acts all come down to torture and abuse. No one strong or right has any right to treat people to either, to Kimi there’s only one solution to those happy enough to dish out such, a swift and final decapitation, as a respectful death with its own consequences.
Boasters Just an annoyance more than anything, boasters are those lacking their own confidence, more often than not because they’re failures. Anyone feeling any right to brag or boast has something to prove and make up for, and those who have something to prove and make up are those who have failed and proven themselves unworthy previously. Either that or they’re just dicks, but either are worthy of her dislike.
Inconsiderate Not such a huge deal, but still a minor annoyance, with so many things that are worse. Being inconsiderate is just plain rude, a selfish act that can easily be remedied with a little thinking and applied logic to most situations if it’s not already abundantly clear that there are other people around.
Claustrophobic Small spaces, ugh. Nothing freaks Kimi out worse than being locked up in a small space, the smell, the feel of everything touching you and no real room to move, it’s all too freaky for the girl. Freedom is where it’s at, and anything otherwise is all too skin crawling.
Drugs Some are good, the majority are bad. The deadly ones are something she hates and often dislikes to see their use as a mind altering consumable. It had less to do with their affect and more to do with how dangerous they are and their ability to silently kill.
Hollows Evil creatures who deserve to be purged and rid of, really anything with the capability of causing harm to the innocent without regret is worthy of her hatred or dislike. Often the case as Hollows first instinct is to attack and destroy pretty much anything, leaving them disgusting evil creatures that serve no purpose.
NEGATIVE TRAITS:Careless Characteristically careless, often Kimiko lacks the consideration necessary before performing many of her acts, sometimes endangering others unnecessarily in doing so, and almost always endangering her own life with such actions.
Arrogant A trait carried on unknowingly from her human life, given the title of nobility at birth has always undoubtedly left a mark of arrogance on the girl, although not always immediately apparent it often becomes so through little investment.
Callous Given the position she is in, she’s a strong believer that sometimes the best and most viable options require the suffering or sacrifice of others, herself included. Which has become stronger as time has passed, into an almost reckless uncaring when required.
Dangerous Given to uncontrolled bursts of anger and with a hollow deep inside, the girl is capable of reckless danger to not only herself but those around, and given her position as Captain, it’s more than capable of crossing over to those under her command regardless of her strong loyalty to them all.
Indecisive Her indifference over time has caused a natural indecisiveness which remains unattended. Often asked for opinions or even for a strict decision, unless strictly and fatally important, she will often have no direct answer.
Jealous While not often investing in bouts of relationships, the Captain is a jealous type of all natures, power and affection included. Despite her nature of being callous, she is still hurt when it comes to jealousy on a high scale and will often act to prevent herself from being a victim.
Rude Her position of authority and arrogance often comes across as a rude demeanor, which isn’t intentional at all, but her lack of care for the most part often portrays that rude edge that people don’t find appealing or satisfying.
POSITIVE TRAITS:Attentive Kimiko is incredibly attentive to every aspect of her life, be it her work, her social life or private. Very little escapes the observant nature of the Captain, her mind always sharp enough to catch anything sneaky.
Calm a relaxed nature most of the time has brought a sense of serenity to Captain. Even during the strict insanity of battle, her senses are limitless but controlled and calm to an annoying degree. Leaving her one of the few capable of issuing orders while under stress.
Courageous A trait which is often as deadly as it is beneficial, mixed with the her carelessness, Kimiko’s tendency towards courage makes her dangerous but remarkable. Very few often find themselves capable of the amount of courage that the Captain has deep inside of her.
Dependable The strongest trait out of any, Kimiko is extremely loyal and dependable to a near flaw. Regardless of what’s asked or assigned, she will come through in the end until it kills her, and she will never forget or pass it off as unimportant. She is reliably dependable.
Fierce While calm in most aspects, the ferocity that shows through very rarely is often cunning and unknown to any except those on the receiving end. Kimiko isn’t actively fierce, but more so quietly and deceptively fierce when it comes down to it, using it as pure strength in those situations.
Intelligent Despite blonde hair, the Captain is incredibly intelligent, her knowledge might lack in some area’s but her mind is on a whole different level to the average. Tested young and assumed to be near genius has kept her arrogance high enough.
Tolerant Tolerable to many degrees. The term is broad but so are its applications. Kimiko is capable of tolerating a lot, whether it be annoyances, pain, discomfort, anything you name and she will have a high tolerance towards it with very few exceptions.

[/url] A set of gauntlets worn upon the Captain’s arms, covering her wrists, forearms and hands with the light but strong material, a sign of her fondness for hand to hand combat. Each gauntlet wraps entirely around her arm up to her elbow, leaving her free to block and fight using the entirety of her forearms and hands. The gauntlet is secured to her hand through the glove-like interior of the gauntlet and several straps to tighten the grip. The exterior layer is made up of strong but light materials, crafted for vicious appearance with spiraling engravings covering any bare surface. The fingers are made up of three parts, one which covers the tip of the finger with a wicked claw which extends an inch past her tips, their curvature allowing easy grasping of flesh. The knuckles of the fingers are the highest sitting layer on the fingers to allow for easy flexibility while giving hefty weight to punches. Finally a last piece stretches between knuckles as protection more than damage. Along the length of the fingers extend various spikes and hooks for a more devastating effect in close combat. On the back side of her hand is a long curved plate acting as armor while helping to hold the ensemble together. The rest of the gauntlet stretches from the wrist to her elbows, covering the majority of it with thick plates for protection and added weight for strikes made. The material is of the same strength as the rest of the gauntlet, but a little thicker and heavier due to the lack of movement and required flexibility. [/b] (戦争, War)[/ul] sealed form:spirit:[/url] An assumed man of great physical physique, although his sex is really unknown with the assumption based on a voice cast from the depths of a black shadowed hood. Standing at 7 feet tall, with a wingspan of three meters, the man is intimidating from first sight. His body gives a constant and unexplainable white-gold aura which pulsates from his body in quick succession. The wings are light grey, connecting to his body near the spine at either side, just inside his shoulder blades. The armor upon his shoulders and cast around his entire body is pure gold, only a few fabrics and his wings are otherwise. Short tabs of cyan material border hands from his shoulder pads and around his waist a long skirt of pure white fabric with a golden and cyan embroidering at the edges hangs. The skirt reaches down to his ankles, shorter at the front however which only reaches to his knees. Starting at the nape of his would be neck and covering his entire head is a white hood, the opening at the front a pure gold border, underneath a black and gold helmet which peaks through at the cheeks and top of the head. The helmet has a large opening at the front, but only shadows and darkness can be seen inside as the invisible figures dons his armor and weapons. The entirety of his weapons and armor are made from pure gold, though wielded as though paper in his hands. Each piece fabricated perfectly with no flaws and exquisite detail. The armor consists of a set of greaves, gauntlets, chest-piece and shoulder pads. The chest piece is rather large, covering the entire upper body. The armor also extends lower, covering the waist with separate bands, while around the neck the armor expands higher to guard against different angles while giving it a rather unique look. Sensō wields multiple weapons, all depending on his purpose. None of which are kept upon his body when not in use, he holds a unique ability to summon his weapons to his at will with a small incantation, their shape appearing to him in a golden glow where his hands are. One of which is a long sword, the majority of the blade made of dark gold but with a rounded encompassing guard. The blade itself is engraved him top to guard with searing white letters which flicker. The entire blade is surrounded by golden-white flames. The other is a long spear, made from the same dark gold. The spear has a long vine like pattern down its shaft. The large angelic being is rather strict in his teachings and nature, though not religiously. His whole mindset is faceted around war, the entirety of his being appears to be the focus of such, thus his aggressive and eccentric armor and weaponry. His skills in such is also extremely high, his ability to wield his weapons easy surpasses most, along with his ability to instantly summon and remove any of his weapons. The man lives and breathes for combat and it’s pleasures. Though often on his mind, he can be a sympathetic and generous being, his strict nature often making him feel guilty. Though he believes Kimiko to be capable of great skill, he questions his assumption at times due to her soft and kind nature, although proven wrong on any occasion they fight. He is also extremely perceptive and adaptive, knowing that Kimiko is capable of shifting weapons as quickly as he, he often matches her in speed of her transitions from one to the other. [/ul] inner world:[/url] - Streets - More StreetsThe inner world for Senso is massive compared to some Zanpakuto, having extended over miles and miles of overridden cityscape which now thrives under wildlife. Once a city bustling with activity of over a million patrons, all going through their daily schedule to survive the torrent of time and come out happy, but now just a wasteland to nature. The streets deserted and now ruins amongst the mold, grass and trees which intertwine through the artificial structures. Tall buildings towering through the horizon and blocking the low constant orange sunset from highlighting all the beautiful features that remain, each showing years and years of wear and decay. City outskirts come into contact with an overgrown forest, the same one responsible for retaking the city from the grasp of the humans, which again extends miles into the distance. Creatures of all sorts live and commune in the forest rather than the city, more for security than any other reason despite the lack of any and all human life in the world. Birds freely soar across the skies chirping to each other and finding useful nests in the tall trees. While on the ground a few dangerous predators lurk about for stray food that could become an easy dinner. A few prime locations amongst the ruined city have come to Kimiko’s attention, the first being a temple on the eastern coast of the harbor, the second a chapel in the busier streets of the city itself. Although despite their popularity with the girl, walking the streets and finding the silence puts her at ease. Even some of the smaller hidden treasures amongst the city itself are beautiful, rusted buildings standing shoulder to shoulder with painted walls bringing them to life while a distinct light green grass and moss grows in the shadows before coming into the light. The contrast between nature and artificial is beyond intriguing, it is downright awe inspiring. Temple CourtyardAlong the eastern coast of the city is one gem which has forever been engraved into the mind of Kimiko, an old temple run by some organization. The building stands 4 stories tall with another level underground, beautiful Middle Eastern influenced architecture make the whole building a pleasure to look at. The whole back of the building, facing out to the ocean, has balcony’s which are faced to take in the full strength of the sunset. Once painted a pale red, but now faded and worn to an orange in some locations, the building still takes on a mysterious vibe. Once again the overgrown nature having run throughout every part of the building brings a new level of life to the structure, plans growing inside and outside which flourish with color. Great vines run through the basement and parts of the upper levels while the grounds around it are covered in tall plants. ChapelOnce again Middle Eastern influences show through on the building’s architecture, ornamental paintings strewn into the walls surrounding the interior of the building while the outside has worn away greatly. The whole interior of the building is open, a few narrow doorways being the only real restrictions. The biggest room sits at the back, although unsure of its purpose originally, the room is now used as a meditation zone for the Visored. The majority of the floor lay half a level lower, and instead a large pool of water rests gently in the sun, the roof decayed enough that sunlight is able to pierce through broken beams of wood. Large windows surrounding the entire upper level also help to guide sunlight into the warm room. Surrounding the pool of water is a pathway which connects the surrounding rooms to it, but up high sits a bright blue wall with several window openings higher and two doorways lower but still at the second floor, accessible from a staircase hidden in the adjoining walking. She can either wait for the attack to collide with something and explode, or she can remotely detonate the attack. The main difference between this and the other is that this can only be used once before requiring a cooldown and that this attack creates a very large explosion with a thirty-five meter radius. For: Shikai Name: Protectythingy Type: Defensive Cooldown: Three posts Cost: Medium Range: Short Description: Despite the love for close combat and a reckless abandon to get all close to smash faces, Kimiko has developed a technique to use as a defense. The technique utilizes the reiatsu pockets that she is capable of creating and manipulating to create a living shield which surrounds her to protect against all manner of attacks. The shield itself is living under the control of her Zanpakuto and can be manipulated to focus on one area in attempt to block an attack. When the shield is struck, pockets explode to nullify the damage coming at her as a counter, however the explosions won’t hurt her. The shield is capable of blocking three attacks before dissipating and going on cooldown. If three attacks aren’t blocked in two posts, then the shield dissipates anyway. If the opponents Hak is greater than her Sei, then the shield is broken through. For: Shikai Name: Pewpew Type: Offensive Cooldown: One post Cost: Low Range: Medium Description: With Zanpakuto turned to its released form of gauntlets and greaves, Kimiko’s abilities become extremely close range. With the majority of her fighting being up close it becomes increasingly more difficult to inflict damage on anyone too worried about copping a fist to the face, leaving her to come up with a solution which provides insurances against such. Her abilities being related around the creation and manipulation of pockets of reiatsu with explosive properties, with a little tweaking and twisting she has managed to produce a ranged attack. [/b] (激怒, Wrath)[/ul] appearance:personality:hollow mask:[/url] Kimiko’s hollow mask is a brutal devilish looking figure. Matching the shape her face perfectly, but with a few protrusions there is little to give away her identity after it is donned. The mask itself isn’t based specifically on anything, but more just a combination of devilish features which come to resemble the demon inside of the woman that she would rather keep down. The majority of the mask is a bright white with black outline for most of the features and only a few parts of the mask break this exception being cast in a shadow black to create a violent contrast. The mask itself doesn’t just slit flush on the front of her face, from the cheek upwards it starts to encompass the rest of the head, the very tip of it reaching near the back of her skull, leaving only golden locks to flow from behind, although tied back into a pony tail anytime the mask is worn. The eyes of the mask are horribly angled into an aggressive portrayal while narrow and vicious in appearance, leaving only golden pupils and black eyes to rest behind once worn. The eyes are framed above by just as steep black lined eyebrow ridges, which extend their coloring to other parts of the mask, but help to give the eyes an aggressive look. The nose is thin but long, and skull like in shape, reaching from the lip up to her forehead. At the bottom of the mask is a three pronged chin, two colored black while the middle remains white, the tip curving outwards away from the face slightly to create a horn like appearance. Starting at the tip of the black pointed chins are two sharp teeth, their beginning at the tip and reaching up to the rest of the mouth. The mask itself looks like it could split in two, the chin and bottom set of teeth separate to the top set of teeth and upwards. Nothing connects the bottom chin to the rest of the mask save the wide set of gruesome grinning teeth. Each tooth is carefully sculpted to give the most sinister and wicked look possible for its location, each ending in a sharp razor tip instead of rounding out as normal teeth do. Starting from the center outwards, the set of teeth connecting the chin to the rest slowly curls up into a grin, the bottom jaw stopping while the top has a few teeth without equal opposites on the lower set. Prominent cheekbones set themselves apart white in colour with wicked black shadows covering just below to fill the mask in a little. The cheekbone section of the mask is slightly pointy outwards, but stretches out and up to the top of the ears, even going so far as to curve around the head and cover the sides and her ears with the mask itself. The top of the cheekbone structure ends in a little hook, which then connects to the eye ridges which stretch from the nose, above the eyes over and to the very edge of the mask. The eye ridge creates a dark shadow at the edges of the eyes but more importantly curves over the top of her head to the middle of her skull, where it once again hooks off before curving back into the top of the skull. The top of the mask finishes off just at the apex at the back of her skull, leaving the nap of her neck and the back of her skull vacant of its extended reach. Almost like a devil’s horns, the top of the mask curls up into little hooks, the inside of each black to create a greater contrast just before it comes to an end. The black markings on the mask are all straight with sharp corners if required to change direction. HISTORY: Born in an era lost to the ravages of time, very little evidence remains of the time when Arethusa was born, her parents having live through the late 5th Century before falling pregnant. Her blood was considered royal, the family one of the few exceeding at the time. Her birth in the locale wasn’t necessarily considered poor, but it wasn’t what the majority of families hoped for. Spartan births were blessed towards men, the favoritism to the sex greater for warrior production. Though female birth was still looked upon in kind, the young girl showing strength that was respected at the time, even when a baby.
Arethusa’s young life was filled with luxury, the majority of her time spent with her mother to learn the ways of the Spartan wife, the traditions of the society and how the military structure worked. All considered major aspects at the time, its growth rising rapidly after a slight decline decades before. As one of the few families considered nobility, it was often a requirement to make appearances at important events, which led to her being shaped into a woman suitable of such rare and high company.
By the time her 17th birthday anniversary had passed, she was promised to the son of another noble family, her decision in the event wasn’t considered and as at the time, it never was going to be. She wasn’t upset; she knew what was required for political and military gains, her family’s stature in society of great importance through manipulation of her parents and herself. The boy assigned to be her partner was kind and gentle, but in the society they lived, was also trained as a warrior to the core. He was often drawn away for long periods of time, his role in the military requiring his presence on most occasions.
Having left the safe surrounds of Sparta, Arethusa was amongst some nearby fields to tend to crops which belonged to her family. Without any company, she was targeted by a local raid in response to the military actions of the Spartans. She was at first taken hostage by them, only to give proof they had captured her. Knowing through her clothing and location that she was nobility, they sent letters to the main city in hopes of gaining some advantage. Her life was short lived however, the men responsible for her capture caring little if she survived the ordeal or not. Her throat was slit and she was left on the ground to bleed out, her lifeless eyes staring across the floor.
With memory vacant and no knowledge of her current person or whereabouts, Arethusa was thrown into a world of confusion, even her own name had become a mystery. She wandered for days on end, trying to find something that she felt a connection with, everyone else not caring for yet another soul to wander the streets. Time and time again she would find herself hungry, having to temporarily work for food, or beg for something to sate her needs. Her general direction had thrown her towards the great walls of Seireitei. It took several weeks before she even came upon its walls, as soon as she saw the tall gates she was instantly intrigued to their purpose. With a new driven purpose, the woman started collecting rumors to create a story that she could believe, wandering around and pestering people who lived closer for information. Not knowing what to call herself, she stole the name from someone else, with the last name of another, combining to create Kimiko Sakurai.
At this in time, the academy wasn’t created yet, nearing two thousand, five hundred years ago. However there was a military which resided inside to protect Rukongai and Seireitei, as well as the royal family within. Petitioning the guard outside of the gate, Kimiko made it her goal to gain entrance, which ended up being easier than she has inspected, with a high spiritual power the guard knew she could prove to be a viable resource. He ushered her in and took her to the current militant leader, explaining the situation, which at the time was one of their few methods of recruitment. She was soon taken under wing and trained to be their version of a Shinigami.
Kimiko has since spent years and years in the service of the Gotei 13, having helped the overall process of its creation, and the creation of the Academy, even if minimal in her efforts. Her witness to their rise brought her happiness. During her training, Kimiko was deemed a strong melee combatant, but poor in other aspects and thus rightly put into the 11th squad. Starting low, she worked her way up the ladder until she felt herself important enough to not have to worry so much about it.
Years passed as she remained low in the chain, but her frustration built, she believed herself capable of taking both Lieutenant and Captain on, and winning. Her own skill with katana and even her gauntlet’s matched the highest ranks of the Gotei 13. Encouraged by a minor friend of hers at the time, she challenged her Captain to his role. Skipping the Lieutenant to prove a point, while her position alone was only of the 5th seat, she still felt herself more than capable.
Surrounded by the majority of squad 11, but with dozens from other squads as well, Kimiko took up arms against her Captain in order to prove her worth of his spot. Insulted and embarrassed, his lieutenant watched from the side in poor fashion, a dark glare upon his face as he stood to witness their conflict. Surprisingly the fight between them lasted longer than any of the spectators had expected, and more surprisingly than that, the fight wasn’t turning to the favor of their Captain. Kimiko was strong, but she was fast too, her own strikes wearing the Captain down faster than he could retaliate and the strikes he needed to land just weren’t. Slowly but surely it became obvious what the rest was turning towards. Even after the release of his Bankai, Kimiko’s Shikai was all she required to fight him off.
The lieutenant watched in awe, his own belief being stretched to the realm of impossible. Kimiko kept beating the Captain down, her endurance allowing her to remain in good condition to physically keep her speed higher, and the damage against her opponent only made him slower. Eventually his defeat came, and Kimiko stood victorious amongst a large crowd. Her worth having been proven with more witnesses than she had hoped, having no intention of insulting or embarrassing the Captain, but just showing that she was capable of more than her current position held.
Odd signatures had been coming from the outskirts of Soul Society, their nature odd and the few Shinigami that had been sent to investigate always went missing. With the majority of the Captains busy with other duties, Kimiko offered her services to go and investigate. Upon arrival Kimiko was easily dispatched, being knocked out within seconds of arriving, even to this day she holds no recollection of how or what happened.
Once knocked out, her mind was blank for quite some time before coming into the world of her Inner Hollow. At first she struggled to understand the concept, or what was happening, but upon being attacked had no option but to fight back. A long struggle ensued for days, Kimiko getting severely exhausted and hurt. In the end however, she conquered the beast and soon after awoke in an alley. It took her several days to figure out what exactly had happened, and that she had been hollowfied, when immediately able she made way to her quarters. After a day’s rest, she went to see 1st squad’s Captain, asking for advice to handle the situation and filling him in on what she remembered and felt.
Since her hollowfication over two thousand years ago, Kimiko has faithfully been serving Soul Society in order to make up for her mistake in letting the hollowfication process even start, even now disappointed that she hadn’t been strong enough originally to even glance at what had happened before she was unconscious. She still retained her 11th squad Captaincy, each day keeping on her toes for anyone willing to challenge her.
RP SAMPLE: Satoru sat amongst some old shelter, their origins going further back than his childhood. The partial cover used to be a stone building, but was now only a shadow of its former structure. Still the building kept the rain above their heads from interfering with training, but allowed the enough open space that it felt like they were outside. Parts of walls had crumbled away and only a small amount of natural light made its way in through the cracks. A few old torches remain strapped to the walls, alight and flickering with the small breeze that flowed through occasionally. The artificial light was enough to light the entire area up. The monk sat on part of a crumbled wall, his eyes forward cast over the landscape ahead as an entire wall section was missing. The missing wall opened up to a large valley beyond that sloped down, large mountains in sight on the other side.
A small nimble man made his entrance into the ruins, nodding to Satoru before introducing himself. He was wearing a crimson red robe, with gold highlights covering the edges of the fabric. Upon his waist and tied was a black sash, the material of good quality and rare amongst Enten Kobushi warriors. Satoru responded in kind to his nod with a bow of his own, offering him a seat next to the monk.

Kouhei stood next to him, the both of them facing out the open wall. They had both trained together previously, and knew to fall into the same procedure when it came to working on the same arts together. Master Kouhei would perform first, allowing Satoru to copy his movements and attempt the same, and then Kouhei would correct any faults. The shorter monk abruptly started their session, with a quick step of his left foot. Cautious eyes studied his master’s movements as they were carried out, his body flowing freely to create the illusion of a constant attack, but each was its own and easy adjustable. The smaller monk thrust his left arm forward, his hand clenched into a fist as direction more than anything. Flames came to life along his shoulder, rolling like a wave down his arm towards the tip of his fist. The bright flame flicked in the air with a life of its own, twisted and rolling along the arm of the smaller monk until it exploded forward from his fist in fury. The small explosion forwards was unexpected, and harsh, the flames roaring forwards with new found energy. A small five meters was covered in less than a second as they reached to latch on to any living substance to devour with burns. Only to disappear into the air upon finding no such subject. His arm retracted like clockwork to his jaw, there as an automatic defense to his face, while his feet continued their swift dance forward. The ball of his right foot hovered over the stone below, kissing the dirt resting on its surface as it swung past his left foot to carry the monk’s weight onwards. As his weight shifted, and his left foot fell behind, the monk’s hips twisted ever so slightly clockwise, in consequence pulling his right shoulder back. When the ball of his foot graced the stone below with full weight, a twist erupted from his abdomen and waist, this time counter clockwise. The sudden reserve in movement shot his right arm forward, his clenched fist acting as a guide. The full length of his extended arm slowly disappeared from shoulder to wrist, a large rolling flame enveloping every inch of cloth and skin to slingshot itself forward. The sheer whoosh of the flame alone brought fear into Satoru’s heart, but watching the flame sprint across his arm towards the fist in such speed and power was secondary to affect him. The air following the fist’s trajectory was soon fuel to the onslaught, the oxygen burning rapidly with the explosion that followed, the flames ripping through the air for a good thirty meters in a manner of seconds, but further extending beyond that into the distance. The stone surrounding them lit up like the sun itself was present in the room, all manner of shadows sleeking away into the most remote of corners in attempt to escape the heat and light that sought it out. Instantly Satoru’s skin went dry, hands shot to his face in attempt to cover himself from the wave of heat that devoured everything in the room.
