Nami picked up her board and Hirenkyaku'ed her way across the the town as best she could to avoid being seen. She couldn't have been the only one who heard the scream. It was important to get there as fast as she could without having to explain herself later. It was hard to fight spirits in stealth but it was important to try to keep as low a profile when fighting them as possible. God forbid some one had to go with the nightmares that she went through the first time she saw one. After making it half way to the source of the screams the night suddenly went silent. What ever had happened at the cemetery had stopped. Nami's only choice was to hope to get there in time.
The was no lights in the cemetary but the moonlight was enough for her to not trip. After a few minutes of looking for some clue as to what happened, Nami found some signs of a struggle but no other clues. Lacking any better options Nami went with a hail marry. "Hello? Anyone There?" She wasn't sure if someone would answer or not but she didn't have alot of other options.

You are down on your knees The road I walk is paved in gold to glorify my platinum soul The selfish blood runs through my veins I gave up everything for fame I feed to rich and fuck the poor ♚ Han: 9 Rei:7 Hak:6 Sei: 6 Buk:9 Hoh:8 With activity rising, Yun's frequent human world travels had been put to good use by the Soul Society. It was great for them and protecting souls. Yun couldn't argue with that. That didn't mean she had to be happy about it. She couldn't even walk around in her gigai and strut around like the pop idol she was. Instead she was busy fighting off hollows and spotting the occasional togabito, which she made sure to steer clear from for the time being. It was all messing with her music career. She had even seen some tabloid covet that said she was dead. It was completely awful! Some one was going to pay for coming up with this awful idea. She didn't care if it had good cause! It was just cruel to ask this of her.
What was worse was the fact that she was sent to boring Karakura. Even if she did have time for her gigai, there would be nothing for her to do. It was one of the most active spiritual places in the world, but the place itself was overwhelmingly dull. For that reason she was glad she had been able to find and kill a few hollows here and there. It made her time a bit less dreadful. Only a bit. When she heard a scream, she was quick to react, sensing a hollow at the same time. It wasn't hard to put two and two together. That in mind she headed there immediately.
Unfortunately by the time she arrived at the cemetery the scream had come from, there wasn't a hollow in sight. She wasn't the best at sensing things, so she wasn't even sure if it was still around. It could have been hiding, or it could have been miles away, and Yun wouldn't have known the difference. What was clear was that she wasn't entirely alone here. Someone called out into the cemetery, asking if anyone was there. The young shinigami leaped up onto a grave stone, looking out over the few others that separated her from the other girl. She got a feeling of some power, so she was sure the human could see her just as clearly as any person.
"Did you see what happened?" Yun questioned, pretending to be all business. She was pretty sure the answer would be no. The girl looked just as lost as herself. Yun shrugged it off, taking a seat atop the grave stone. She wasn't really in the mood for a wild goose chase. If the hollow bailed, then it bailed. If not then she could rip it apart when it showed its face. What she had to worry about more now was the human girl. All kinds of rumors were flying around about insane humans, totally bat shit crazy ones. Yun would be lying if she said she wasn't interested though.

Nami jumped in surprise from the sound of a voice other than her own piercing the silence. She was even more suprised to see another girl here in the cemetery. Hollows love places like this and it wasn't safe for the non Quincy, even if you couldn't see the spirits doesn't mean they wouldn't kill you.
But there was something different about this girl. She seemed so confident. And there was something awesome about her presence. Nami had only felt this way around other Quincy and Hollows. The girls energy was more than most of the rabble that inhabit the town. But Nami didn't see a cross...
Nami shook her head to snap out of her stupor and looked the stranger in the eye. "You shouldn't be here, Its dangerous!" Nami's warning was more of concern than athourity. The Hollow that attacked her could still be near and she had enough trouble killing them without having to watch out for a bystander.

You are down on your knees The road I walk is paved in gold to glorify my platinum soul The selfish blood runs through my veins I gave up everything for fame I feed to rich and fuck the poor ♚ Han: 9 Rei:7 Hak:6 Sei: 6 Buk:9 Hoh:8 Yun almost wanted to laugh at the girl's warning. Actually, as it turned out, she did laugh, letting out a sweet sounding giggle. *It was really amusing. Well, it seemed she hadn't found an insane human. she found a clueless one instead. Those were always fun. They had no idea what the fuck was going on or that they weren't the strongest things around. Yun got over her little giggle fit, throwing a cocky smile over to the girl. She crossed her legs leisurely, like she just didn't have a care in the world. She was really starting to oversell all of this, but hey, as an idol that was what she did. Most of the acting she did was on a soap opera. Everyone was aware of about how over the top that was.
"Trust me. I'm not the one you need to be worrying about" she swung her leg slightly, leaning back. "Maybe you should be the one getting out of here. You seem pretty scared" Yun pointed out, getting all high and mighty as she often did. Right now her ego was just boosts all over the place. this girl was petrified, yet she was being so cool. Then it dawned on her that the girl hadn't recognized her. That should have been a bigger deal than the hollow that as probably long gone. Yun suddenly stopped smiling, giving the girl a hard look. She looked like one of those people who were very against anything mainstream. Yun felt her brow twitch in annoyance. Even if she wasn't into anything cool or worth while, the girl still should have known who she was, even if Japan wasn't as big of a center of her fame as China.
She got up from her seat, leaping over to the next gravestone, then another, and another until she reached the girl. She placed her hands on her hips. Yes, they were barely existent, but she did in fact have hips. She looked down at the human girl, not saying a word. She wasn't going to spell anything out or beg for the attention and recognition of her stardom. She shouldn't have to. This girl should have done it of her own accord, and Yun was just going to stand there and wait for it. She would wait all night if she had to. She didn't have anything better to do. Sure, things might get uncomfortable for the human, but was that really something she was going to care about? She hadn't ever cared about such things before.

Who ever this girl was she seems really confident. Either she didn't know about hollows or perhaps she was also just a really good hunter. Nami wasn't bad at killing hollows, but she had had more than enough close calls to be worried until she knew what she was dealing with. But this girl, she just oozed confidence. Not a single care about the fact they were in a graveyard. Nami was kinda new at this so perhaps the new girl was more experienced than she looked.
The girl had approached Nami and was looking at her expectantly for some reason. A few moment of silence passed before either of them said anything. Starting to feel pressure to talk Nami tried to break the ice and start some form of dialogue. She didn't want to be rude but the trail was getting cold.
"I don't see a cross, But you seem to not be scared of the spirits. Want to tell me why?" It was vauge enough to seem rather mundane of a question if it turned out to be a cocky human. But there was something about her presence that made Nami feel like there was something more to her

You are down on your knees The road I walk is paved in gold to glorify my platinum soul The selfish blood runs through my veins I gave up everything for fame I feed to rich and fuck the poor ♚ Han: 9 Rei:7 Hak:6 Sei: 6 Buk:9 Hoh:8 The silence was building up, and Yun couldn't deny that she was getting really annoyed with it. She pursed her lips after a few moments, brow arching as she went on waiting. She wouldn't be able to do it for much longer though. Yun was not a girl known for her mellow temper. The girl opened her mouth to speak, and Yun listened intently. finally it had dawned on the girl. Yun felt her pride swell up. It sure had taken long enough. Now the girl could scream and fangirl all she wanted, and Yun would take every ounce of her praise.
That wasn't how it all went down though. Instead the girl asked questions about what she was, or why she was seeing spirits. Yun's pride dropped ten stories in no more than a second. She started to bask in the praise that she just wasn't getting, then she froze up, eye twitching. "Excuse me?" she muttered in a forced tone. This was not what she was expecting. She regained her ability to think, stomping her foot down on top of the grave stone. "That's really all you're going to ask? Do you live under a rock?" she barked, not caring if she sounded insane and rude. She was in pouting mode right now. This was not acceptable, not at all!
After a moment, Yun just huffed and crossed her arms, looking out over the graveyard. "If that's all you care about, well then whatever. I'm a kind of spirit too. That answer your question?" she glared daggers over to the human. It wasn't exactly the girl's fault that she was clueless about everything going on right now. That didn't mean Yun had to be understanding about it though. "I'm not like the big, ugly monsters though, so don't freak out or anything" she rolled her eyes. She should have been freaking out for an entirely different reason. This is what happened when she had to go on a hiatus for real work purposes. Why couldn't she be just a normal human in this day and age? Things were so complicated. If it went on much longer, she really would have to be pronounced dead, and this girl would never ever know who she was in the presence of.
"You have any other questions?" she looked back over her shoulder, some trace of hope on her face. Maybe it still wasn't too late. Weirder things happened in life. She was surrounded by weird people all of the time between her two worlds, and they did a lot weirder things than recognizing an international star. That or she was just really too full of herself, which was probably true no matter the case. It was just a pleasant thought. She was sure she'd get questions about what she was again though. How awful.

The stranger seemed really angry and Nami still didn't understand why. Maybe Nami had offended her with something she said? That wasn't important, what was important was that this creature was a spirit of some kind, thought not a hollow and she didn't seem like a ghost so that left only one thing..
Nami's face suddenly turned to a scowl! "Your.. YOUR A SOULD REAPER!" It was hard to nami to hide her discontent at saying those words. The cursed people, Uncle often told stories of how they had the Quincey killed off for some balance reason or whatever. "I thought you dewbs were supposed to were kimono's or somthing like that" This was Nami's first encounter with a soul reaper but the girl didn't look to intimidating.
This was a prefect chance to get some information about these cold hearted killers. Nami's father loved to talk badly about then but she never acutally learned much about them other than they were bad. And this one seemed to want to have a conversation.

You are down on your knees The road I walk is paved in gold to glorify my platinum soul The selfish blood runs through my veins I gave up everything for fame I feed to rich and fuck the poor ♚ Han: 9 Rei:7 Hak:6 Sei: 6 Buk:9 Hoh:8 Yun only made a face when the girl started shouting. She brought her hand up to her ear, halfway protecting herself from all that loud talk. It would surely give her a headache if she hadn't. Her eyes narrowed at the girl, who wasn't completely clueless it seemed. She let out a long sigh, not having to guess too hard about what this girl was. The only humans that were so stupid were those quincies that still held some ridiculous grudge. All those issues happened forever ago. Couldn't they just get over it already? It wasn't like they were in danger or anything. Wouldn't it even be a generation or two by now? Old men must have been brainwashing their children like old men often did.
"That's correct. you got some kind of problem with that?" she asked in a cold tone, just daring the human to actually try and do something if she did. She might not have been the most powerful shinigami out there, but Yun knew she could take on the likes of this girl. She looked straight at the girl, not the slightest look of fear on her face. One hand went to her hip. It was only a few inches from the silver blade of her zanpakuto. She could grab it quickly enough if the girl tried anything. "I would say it's a wise thing to let go of the past if it bugs you so much" she stated, hinting that she was aware of why the girl looked so absolutely disgusted.
Yun glanced down to her clothes, almost wanting to laugh. "I'm not into the traditional clothes. I'm way to special for something like that. It's not like anyone can stop me from wearing what I want" she struck a small pose, sticking her hip out. "Weren't you 'dewbs' supposed to wear some god awful white capes?" she asked, recalling a few details she had heard about, throwing the girl's own words right back into her face. she looked pretty pleased with herself for it to, getting a cocky smile on her face once again.

Nami gave the soul reaper a harsh glare. Uncle didn't necessarily hate soul reapers for the fact of the Quincey genocide, but because of their arrogance. They always thought they knew it all, when it came to stuff when really they were always pre occupied with political shennariry. Infact he sided with the soul reapers in theory on the whole killing hollows thing. But he felt that Quincey were necessary to protect the human world. He and Nami have been working on a way to make their arrows kill holllows just like a zanpakto would, but so far their efforts had been less than successful.
Nami had a morbid curiosity on why this reaper was so special, so she decided to ask. "What makes you so special?"

You are down on your knees The road I walk is paved in gold to glorify my platinum soul The selfish blood runs through my veins I gave up everything for fame I feed to rich and fuck the poor ♚ Han: 9 Rei:7 Hak:6 Sei: 6 Buk:9 Hoh:8 Yun just stared at the girl as she glared so harshly. She was really getting tired of that look. She raised her lip and stuck out her tongue, making a nasty face at the human to throw her off. It was probably childish, but that was just how she was sometimes. The quincy chick could get over it. She wasn't exactly being overly polite either. As her face returned back to its normal, cute self, she hopped down from the grave stone. She landed just in front of the girl, showing of with a turn as she landed, spinning completely around. By the end of her little twirl she had her hand at her hip once again, looking to the girl with that signature, completely bitchy smile of hers. "You live under a rock, huh?" she mused, almost like she felt sorry for the girl. She shook her head, taking a few steps back.
She took in a deep breath, composing herself. Then out of nowhere she randomly struck a cute pose. She was leaned forward slightly, her hip pressed out. Her left hand was raised, her fingers forming a peace sign. There was a large smile on her face, and she winked with one eye. It even looked like she had forced a blush onto her cheeks to look even cuter. She held that pose for a good, silent, awkward fifteen seconds before she straightened up, all of that forced joy leaving her. "Look familiar?" she questioned, crossing her arms over her chest. She was almost waiting for a no. It would not be shocking, even when she knew there were several ads that featured her, probably even a good number of posters hung up advertising her future Japanese tour. After Nianzu had his go, Yun couldn't just let him be the only one.
"I'm special because I'm super talented" she finally stated, not feeling up to waiting for ever for the human to make connections between pop stars and shinigami, assuming she even got that far. Yun looked happy with herself, happy enough at least. She had proven all she needed to, at least she thought she had. She hadn't really explained anything, just that she was a very prideful soul. The girl just had to take her word for it, and she would have to. Yun didn't feel the need to justify her mad skills. "That enough for you, Quin~ cy~ -chan~" she mused, smirking as she put a cute ring at the end of her last few syllables, just to piss the girl off her something.
"So just who is it you think you are glaring at me like that?" she questioned in a less happy tone. Her face went to one that was more annoyed, her eyes slightly narrowed, lips in a thin line. It was pretty clear that she felt this girl had no right to go on acting like she wasn't the luckiest girl in the world at that exact moment. It was just crazy that she looked at Yun with such distaste. Honestly what kind of state was the world of the living coming to?
