Sunlight dappled the seemingly calm clearing as a light breeze blew through the trees causing the leaves to whisper in their raspy voices. In the shadows there was a slight hint of movement, giving evidence that someone was there, kneeling down next to a plant that was didn't look any different than the surrounding bushes except for the fact that there were tiny pits all around it, as if something was constantly burrowing into the ground.
Tsubaki stood up and looked around herself, her gaze sweeping over the multitude of plants which to any other eyes would seem to be just a random assortment of forest plants, though in truth it was an intricate maze of specially bred and particularly....hostile...plants. Tsubaki had personally set this 'guarden' up to protect a small shack that was barely visible in the distance.
Tsubaki took a deep breath, taking in the forest scents as she relaxed not to say that she had lowered her guard, but merely that she was slightly more comfortable in this location. Silently she turned to her left and walked into the woods, taking a seemingly difficult route through undergrowth, though in truth it was the only safe path in the area.
**OOC** (I know that guarden is not a word, it is a combination of garden and guard)

Sighing as he entered the infamous forest located in the outskirts of the Rukongai, Allister's constant smile faded for a moment. "I still fail to understand why I was sent here, rather than one of the mindless barbarians from the eleventh division. Is handling a simple hollow really a task that requires someone from the research department?" He lightly muttered under his breath for a moment, before his half-grin found it's way back to his expression. "Oh well. I suppose this means I can gather more samples of Reiatsu with which to make fancy toys."
Narrowing his eyes as he searched among the vast expanse of the forest for any notable signs of Reiatsu, he was pleasantly surprised to find another shinigami in the area, a fairly strong one (as indicated by spiritual pressure), as well. "Well, I think I've surmised where the hollow itself will be En route towards. I could leave eliminating it to whoever that may be, but it seems I'm curious..." Noting that the hollow would likely head in the direction of the other Shinigami's reiatsu, he had two options available to him. Destroy the hollow before it reached it's intended feast and then be on his way, or locate said feast and examine how they'd deal with the hollow themselves.
A coalescence of laziness and interest persuaded him to take the latter option, prompting him to shunpo towards the source of the stronger Reiatsu, using Bakudo #26; Kyokkō along the way to completely shield his presence, as to not cause any unnecessary interference, or ruin the show. She'd taken a rather treacherous path to get to where she was located, but Allister knew the forests rather well, thanks to the multitude of interesting plants and substances located within it. Fortunately, the kido he'd used prevented any of the wildlife or plants from attempting to hinder or distract him as he reached his target destination.
Just as the 'apple of his eye', so to speak, came into view, a deafeningly shrill cry could be heard in the distance, signaling the Hollow's approach. He didn't have very much time to examine just who the shinigami herself was, but he knew he recognized her from somewhere. Despite having detailed notes and logs on most of the other captains for reference, he wasn't very familiar with anyone below that rank within the Gotei 13. It wasn't because he figured them beneath him, he was simply a recluse, and had never spent much time with members in a division outside his own.
Within moments, the hollow found it's way towards the two, more specifically the female since Allister's presence was masked, and the encounter seemed it would begin. With a smirk that ran rampant across his fair-skinned face, the 12th division Captain waited to see what would take place. If he had to bet, he'd assume the female shinigami would eliminate the hollow almost instantly. After all, it was just a regular hollow, and her Reiatsu seemed to imply she was more than experienced.
OOC: Feel free to describe the hollow and it's abilities in your post, or even have her one shot it to get it out of the way. It's only there to give what'shisface a reason to indirectly confront Tsubaki anyways.

Tsubaki was walking down her path when she noticed two things, one there were red flowers opening on some of the nearby plants, and two, that there was a rampaging hollow nearby. The flowers were a warning system to say that someone was in her territory, but that was readily explained by the presence of the hollow, though she couldn't shake a slight uncertainty about that conclusion, but that would have to wait for later, the rampaging hollow took precedence at the moment.
Tsubaki stared at the hollow as it rushed headlong at her, meeting it's eyes with her own. This only served to enrage it more, the beast increased it's speed and began to trample some of the plants underfoot.
Tsubaki smiled.
Suddenly long vines with dagger-like thorns shot out of the underbrush and wrapped around the hollows legs, cutting deeply into them as the hollow fell, giving the violent plants even more areas to wrap around, soon, the hollow was covered in vines and puncture marks, it's blood staining the ground, then slowly, it began to smoke. The beast let out a howl of pain as it's flesh began to fall away as acid began to drip from trees above it, making quick work of what the other plants had captured. Soon the hollow let out it's last cries of agony before dissolving away.
Tsubaki stared at the receding vines for a moment and then spoke: Never invade my garden.
With that said she started walking again.

WORDS 2many4u RELEASE None STATS HAN: 17 (+3) REI: 18 HAK: 15 (+1) SEI: 21 BUK: 16 (+2) HOH: 18(+2) NOTES Gotta go fast
"Well, that was uneventful." Allister released the Kido that kept him hidden, and flash stepped towards the girl, pausing at her right side. Rather than immediately addressing her, he kept his gaze straight forward, simply shrugging his shoulders as he walked alongside her momentarily. A second or two passed before he broke the silence once more, likely interrupting the young girl in the process. "Y'know, when I was sent to handle such a minute and harmless hollow and noticed you, I thought I was at least going to get a show for my troubles. Shame."
The words floated calmly from the lips that formed his casual smirk, but the hint of melancholic disappointment lingered and trailed along at the end of each and every syllable. It was true. If he'd been able to see a real fight, or even a glimpse of her ability, it may have made the pointless trek out here a little more worthwhile. After all, he did need to gather information on his subordinates and fellow shinigami, for one reason or another, but it seemed he'd accomplished nothing.
"I suppose it's not your fault, though. Ever still, what division are you from? I've got a bit of an idea, considering you're so highly secretive about this garden of yours. Then again, you may just be one of those overly nature-loving wei-..." The end of his statement seemed to burn his tongue, as his words slowed and he became hesitant to continue. He knew going any further with that train of thought would only bring complaints and discord from his Zanpakuto, who was a nature loving weirdo in her own right. It's not that he didn't like nature, he just didn't understand the desire to halt advancement and just sit among something that creates itself continuously and randomly, with no end product in sight. Evolution was just one of those things.... It was un-directed creation, and while that was beautiful, it was also unproductive, and plants as well as nature were the prime example.
Growing simply for self preservation, with no goal or intended purpose in sight. It was the type of thing he marveled at, but couldn't allow himself to be encapsulated or enchanted by, lest he succumb and quit being productive himself. So he kept his distance, for the sake of progress alone. Tsubaki glanced sideways at the stranger, instantly recognizing him as the captain of squad 12 based on his high reiatsu and the fact that he matched the image she had on file.
She listened to the man as he rambled on about not getting a show, complaining that he didn't get to see her abilities, and frankly getting on her nerves. If he thought he knew my squad then why did he think I would reveal the extent of my abilities... Tsubaki wanted to get this man to leave her alone, but at the same time, she knew that it wouldn't be all that easy, but talking about something that may interest him might help, or at least it might get him away from useless topics.
If you actually know my squad then you probably also know that I will not give you much personal information. By the way, I would appreciate it if you were to watch your step. t takes quite a lot of effort to hold off these plants, since I bred them to attack and consume, or at least immobilize, anything that gets to close.
Tsubaki had to bite her tongue to stop herself there, this garden was her pride, but it wouldn't do to give out to much information at one time, at least not without something in return.
Also, if you think I'll believe that a captain came out here just to take out such a small hollow, you're mistaken.
