(OOC: Alright, I would prefer if this didn't get flooded with people. I want to say a maximum of 8 or so people. I'll either be doing that, or simply starting it in a week-two time. If needed, I will simply skip people/omit them from the conversation for the sake of time/not making this thread last for 5 years. ((Unless it's my fault, then I won't be skipping/omitting people)) Also, even if you don't join, feel free to say that your captain was indeed here and met the new CC.) But I'm not finished Now it's three in the morning and I'm trying to change your mindI need a partner Well, are you out tonight? Words: ### Now was the time to start and set things into motion. At least, that's what everyone has been yelling at the captain commander to do. Since Bonten was promoted, he hadn't yet held a captain's meeting to simply update and catch everyone up to speed. Hell, he wasn't even sure that most of the Soul Society even knew that they had a new commander, much less what he looked like or how he behaved. That's at least what he figured, seeing as no one knew exactly who he was if he wasn't wearing his captain's guard.
But, much to the disappointment of Bonten, the order came out and the captains were to be assembled for a meeting. Which is why Bonten was currently standing at the front of the large meeting room, staring at the door and awaiting the rest of the captains. He couldn't help but shift slightly while he stood, anxious for this entire ordeal to be done with and for him to move on from this meeting to go relax and procrastinate his important things until Roxanna got sick of it enough to do it. He smiled to himself slightly, perfectly happy with their current ordeal since it leaves him with very little to do, at least along the lines of important duty.
But, now wasn't the time for him to worry much about that, as he heard footsteps just outside the room. He gulped, before straightening up his stance, trying to look as formal and presentable as possible. He took an extra moment to straighten up his long, blonde ponytail, moving it away from his face a little more. His anxiety was getting to him, and his natural instincts told him to run. It took every amount of willpower that the man had to not simply run away from the meeting, and postpone it to a later date in which he could simply do it all over again. It wasn't his fault that he simply wasn't ready for such an important position. and now was his first impression with the captains, at least for most of them, and he had to make sure it mattered. What good is a leader if his own commanders don't respect or listen to him? Absolutely nothing, and that's what caused the man to near tremble where he stood, his consciousness doing everything in its power to keep the man standing and still. put yo stats here

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,bTable][atrb=style, width:450px;] BACK RUB FROM MY MAIN THING. i've been stressed out talking to her like back then!
Kakiya wasn't to eager to taking apart in the most recent meeting which had been arranged by the head Captain, himself. Though, it was something he must deal with and put forth his best foot. After all, he was still relevantly new to being a Captain. There was no telling what the other Captains thought about Kakiya and how he handled his business. Perhaps bring forth reasonable ideas or solutions would put the newest Captain in the spot he was seeking. But at the end of the day, he honestly didn't care what people thought about him. Just as long as he got positive results and his men stayed alive, that's all that truly matter to him.
There were too many thoughts going on. With one hand his pants' pocket and other rubbing his chin, Kakiya began to wonder who happen to be there currently. Hopefully, he wasn't the last to arrival. That would be utterly embarrassing but to be expected. For some reason that seemed to be his style. Interesting. He finally appeared before the steps that led up to the First Division's barracks. He signed a bit as he glanced the number of steps. Looking at that many stairs made him feel old and lazy. Shame. He wish he could just call in sick and turned around and jump into his soft bed. However he cannot do that. It was morally wrong and for sure, someone would come and kick his ass out that bed. That is a damn shame. Kakiya began his slow journey up the steps, taking his sweet time. This was such a buzz kill, right here.
The shinigami captain made his way to the top. Kakiya looked at the doors and wondered what on earth is happening beyond those doors. With both hands on the left and right sides, he pushed forwarded, and opened the doors. It revealed to him that no one was here at all beside the Commanding Captain. There was a complete shock that consumed his face. Funny, he believed he would the last but it was the complete opposite. Kakiya ran his figures through his hair then glanced around. The soul reaper cleared his throat then closed doors. Kakiya then turned towards the head Captain and bowed. "Sir, how are you today?" Kakiya asked with nothing but respect. Once he finished bowing, he made his way towards his spot in the room, located on the right. Now all that was left was to wait for the others then the meeting could officially began.

Today was a free day, a day for him to relax and take a break. And what was the best way for him to that? Painting of course, it was one of his favorite hobbies. Well, its more of a passion than just a simple hobby, once could tell it was something connected to his soul, just look at his zanpakuto spirit and ability. He was artist through and through, but he has been neglecting to paint for a while, to busy with so much paperwork. Man he some times loathed this job, it was so tiring.
"A meeting? Of course he'll have a meeting during my day of freedom. Ugh, such a annoyance." he commented with a rough sigh following. Standing off of his stool, he headed out of the room he dedicated to painting and headed to his room to wash up. After getting that out of the way, he quickly got dressed and headed out. But just as he was heading out the door, he came to a screeching halt. He some how had forgotten to get his zanpakuto, what a idiot he was. Heading over to his desk, he place the zanpakuto onto his hilt and pick up one of his sticks of dumplings. "Nothing like a mid time snack." he stated as he headed out of his office.
Waving to his subordinates, he directed them to the work they had to do and headed out of his barracks. Eating one of his dumplings, he really didn't have the mind set to stand through one of these. What was so important anyway? We all know we have a new captain commander, he wants to introduce himself or something? What a waste, hopefully something good occurs from this, he would hate to have to waste his time.
Vanishing with shunpo, he appeared before the doors of the first division. Entering inside, he ate his second dumpling and slowly pace to the room where the meeting was being held. Coming to a stop, he ate the last dumpling along the stick and toss it to the side. The lieutenant can pick it up, right? Fixing his captain's haori and his hair, he cleared his throat and took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing." he stated before entering inside. Pacing to his position, he came to a abrupt stop. It seems he was early, of course, now the waiting game ensues.

Tags: SOME CAPTAINS, sexy BonBon, and SPLENDIIIIIID! This was exciting! Gabriel heard the news! There was going to be a meeting of the captains! He was probably more excited than anyone else was, or even should have been. However, his excite wasn't for the simple fact of there being a meeting. No, he had a goal set in mind. Gabriel prepared a speech on why the Supremely Sensational Stupendously Spectacular Super Squad should be how his squad was addressed as he walked towards the meeting room. Sadly, he knew that no one would even want to hear it. Almost everyone he had mentioned it to completely tuned him out seconds after he spoke. As long as the Captain Commander listened, then no one else mattered. The hard part of that was the obvious fact of there being a lot if interesting people there gathering at once. The only way to make sure he was always on the mind of the Commander was to make sure he was the most interesting person in that room.
The room was destined to be filled with awkward silences, and there was a large chance the other captains wouldn't like him. He was sure they didn't even like each other! Or at least the last batch of captains he met didn't. He was sure there were different fellow crime fighters each time! In reality he just wasn't paying attention to them. That was the downside to always keeping your mind on evil. Those who are on the same side as you get ignored! There may have been some new faces, but by now he should have at least known one of them by name. Although Gabriel wasn't excited for the new faces this time. It wasn't happy faggy friendship hour by the lake. A meeting meant business.
Gabriel arrived, but ventured off to the side, not wanting to go in so soon. He was fairly nervous, partially certain his request would get rejected. He adjusted his mask and brushed off his clothes, wanting to look as presentable as possible. Although the key to being proper looking was having a full outfit put together that looked amazing. He lacked something a lot looked at, which were shoes. In some places it could be considered rude or even barbaric to go around without shoes on. He didn't want to be trapped in a foot prison, but he hoped that it wasn't used against him.
Gabriel sighed as he stared at his feet, tucking his face behind his red scarf. What if this meeting was disastrous? There were so many things that could go wrong that it was driving him insane! He shook his head then decided it was time to go in. He didn't want to think about what COULD happen, and wanted to focus on what was happening. 'Everything will be fine!' He told himself that before walking towards the door, hesitating before finally opening it.. with his foot. He kicked the door down, and did a front flip into the room, followed by a mixture of other flips, giving him lots of momentum each time his body rotated. Too nuch momentum. He was sure he had only a few feet before he had to stop and do his super hero pose, but was proven wrong when his face smacked into a wall. Gabriel stayed against the wall for a few seconds, before slowly sinking down to the floor.
He was only on the floor for about thrity seconds. He quickly got up and adjusted his mask. That was supposed to happen! Gabriel held his palms up in front of his face and spaced out his legs, making a sort of Kung Fu pose. Then he loudly spoke to the group before him "SPLENDID, THE HERO, HAS ARRIVED!" He did a kick in the air, mixing it with another small flip and sprinted to his chair, not even thinking about his slight mishap that just happened. He didn't feel like surveying the place for evil sorcerers anymore. If a problem rose, the hero would fix it. No use in looking for trouble after he had just made a complete ass of himself. Instead, Gabriel decided to tuck his face deep inside of his scarf and close his eyes. The most effort he did was taking a small look at those which were around, not even bothering to check which was from what squad. He only knew that the old man wasn't there yet, which was a shame. He did his flips for nothing. Now how would he have his attention the entire time? Perhaps he could start his speech in the middle of the meeting without any warning, or at the very end. Either way, the Commander was going to hear it. HAN: 15 REI: 13 HAK: 20 SEI: 12 BUK: 18 HOH: 20 |

Post by AUREL DE BOUVERE on Nov 1, 2013 12:24:10 GMT -5
A meeting was imminent regarding the recent events to befall the ivory walls of Seireitei. A captain had been appointed time before, but it wasn't till now that he'd reveal himself before the the rest of the Gotei 13 - and while there would surely be some upset with that plan of action, Aurel cared little for how it was handled. He grew tired by the meetings, and how little impact they had. The majority time the room was heavy with indecision, and the matter dismissed or chosen to handle it the practical way, dispatch a squad to handle the issue. It was always dispatch someone, and oft times Aurel questioned the necessity for their to be Captains if they'd never directly get involved with threats that required more than a squad of poorly-trained combatants.
Nevertheless, Aurel made himself present as required of his position. In his standard attire, influenced by the growing civilizations of the west, he would strut in a way that made the cape behind him dance at his heels. His path of travel met the sight of the Captain of the 7th division, and his quirky self almost hyperventilating at some inquired nervousness. Aurel's icy eyes observed the man as he straightened out the flamboyant uniform before losing sight upon entering into the large room - void of all by three people. And when he made himself comfortable in his personal position, he prepared for the inevitable.
The door burst open, and Gabriel initiated a series of flips and twirls, rather unnecessary ones at that. And when he collapsed against the wall, the 9th division captain rose a brow slightly, and after four or five seconds, turned his attention back towards the Captain Commander, leaving Gabriel to himself on the floor. A courteous bow as taught of him, and an acknowledgement of honorifics to move past the introductory phase of the meeting, "Greetings, Captain Commander and fellow captains."

But I'm not finished Now it's three in the morning and I'm trying to change your mindI need a partner Well, are you out tonight? Words: ### Bonten watched as captain after captain flowed in. He responded to each of them, giving a slight nod or a simple hello or answer. Well, as much as he could give. His voice would sometimes become softer or trail off, or he'd just stop halfway through the sentences and words as more captains entered. His anxiety was simply becoming too much. At least, too much for the Captain Commander to handle right now.
His breathing started to become heavier as the meeting continued, at least until the sudden slam of the door being busted open by what he assumed was a captain. Even if his attire was a bit..odd, and he chose to wear a mask, he couldn't really judge the man. At least he broke Bonten from his anxiety, shaking his head slightly as he couldn't help but laugh slightly when his entrance was ruined. At least that man made some kind of impression, even if it was an odd one at that. But he stopped, acknowledging the next captain that entered.
After a short while and all the captains arrived, Bonten stepped forward to formally start the meeting. " I am Bonten Amatsu. Your new commanding captain. I know many of you do not know, or recognize me, but I promise you that I will try my hardest to be as good as our last commander." He said nervously, halfway lying as he knew he wouldn't try that hard for this. But, he had to make himself look very serious, and well, deserving of the spot. Especially at the first impression. "Now that I introduced myself, let's get down to business. What..exactly happened during my absence? I know of the invasion, but what lead to this. I simply need to be summed up. Just the important things that have changed over the past two hundred years." He said rather seriously, not knowing much else to say right now. Hell, he wondered why he even had to have this meeting. put yo stats here
