I am many things – you could not begin to imagine half of them. But for now, I shall take the role of executioner. FACE CLAIM:DC Universe – Darkseid
HEIGHT:7'0"
WEIGHT:1815lbs
APPEARANCE: Rudianos is, by far, one of the more intimidating Espada – in appearance, at least. Standing in at a whopping seven feet, Rudianos towers over most of his comrades. He also has a massive muscle mass to go along with it. Even when in proportion to his size, Mars’ muscle mass is formidable, putting most bodybuilders to shame. Rudianos’ skin is grey, though it goes without saying that this was not how he was in real life. Crags and various lines cover Rudianos’ skin, always in straight lines, though it is to be noted that they can alter direction multiple times on one stretch. He has a Hollow Hole in his chest, literally where his heart should be, but this is covered by his clothing.
Rudianos has no hair to speak of, but does not see this as an impediment in any way. This applies not just to his head, or his body, but to anywhere that there would usually be hair. That means no eyebrows, eyelashes, etcetera. However, his eyes are like glowing coals, still hot from the flames that had set them alight. Within them is a malice so acute, and evil so insidious, the weaker-willed among any race will likely shrink back in fear at his gaze alone. When he becomes angered, his eyes will glow more fiercely, giving him the impression of being wrath incarnate.
Rudianos, on his torso, wears what appears to be a well-fitting one-piece. The upper part of it covers his head, as a hood would, though does not fit as loosely. Indeed, it actually hugs his head, to the point of taking on its shape. Rudianos’ face is left uncovered, though in actual fact, this is because parts of his helmet was once his mask – he had just incorporated the rest of his costume around it. The rest of his upper body is covered by this outfit, bar his arms – his gloves can be counted as an extension, being made of the same material and being the same colour. The same principles also apply to his fittingly-large boots. Upon his legs, Rudianos dons a pair of snugly-fitting blue trousers, covered further by the rest of his top, until the middle of his thighs. Upon closer inspection, it’s a tunic.
This is where you belong, Soul Reaper. Under. My. Heel. LIKES:Leading Murder Mass murder Inflicting pain and suffering Crushing weaklings beneath his boot Watching a person’s will break
DISLIKES:Losing Being as weak as he is now How slow getting in control is “Lesser beings” that oppose his word Lemons
NEGATIVE TRAITS: Rudianos is the kind of person that would shake your hand and not only stab you at the same time, but crush your hand while doing so. Nothing is beneath Rudianos. Treachery, deceit, breaking a person’s mind and body, there are no depths he will not sink to in order to gain the advantage. There are even records of him forcing mothers to strangle their own children, though quite how he manages such a feat is never revealed. All that is known is that he possesses little honour, and seeks only to indulge himself, and further any goals he may have at the time.
Then there is his insatiable lust for power. Be it dominion over people, or just sheer brute strength, there is no sort of power that Rudianos will not seek. He will scour every inch of Hueco Mundo in order to gain complete dominion. He will torture hundreds upon thousands of innocents, in order to break the will of a single enemy. Nothing stands in the way of Rudianos when he wants power – there is nothing that he wants more than complete and total control. Obviously, this comes into conflict with what he needs to do to get it, and this can sometimes interfere with the mission at hand, and his own goals.
But what more can be said about him? Rudianos is evil incarnate. He has no qualms about killing. He has but a fraction of an iota’s worth of honour. Torture of innocents is his idea of a perfect Saturday night in. If he had the chance, he would erase all free will, bar his own. He does not seek to destroy – oh no, that just comes when he’s bored or when he needs to. He seeks to subjugate, and to decimate any opposition towards him, both in action and in thought. Some have even said he is akin to some of the Seven Deadly Sins in one body.
POSITIVE TRAITS: There is little positive to say about Rudianos. For what positive things does a person say about a being without a shred of good residing in them? Well, his incredible determination could be seen as a positive trait. No matter the means, no matter the time taken, Rudianos will claw his way to the objective, toppling anyone he needs to on the way. He is ruthless and dogged in his approach to his goals, executing his actions with surgical precision, setting the gears in motion before anyone can realise his true goal, and moving forward before anybody can even think to stop him.
Rudianos’ experience can also be described as positive, in a sense. Having lived for well over two millennia, Rudianos has seen and experienced many things. He has learnt many of life’s lessons the hard way, and they are carved into his mind for as long as he lives. But, it must be remembered that, despite everything that has happened to him in life, he is still a villain through and through. His experience only serves to aid his scheming. The closest it can come to being a positive trait is him understanding how a person’s mind works, so he can break them as efficiently as possible.
Rudianos is, in some twisted sense, a born leader. However, his rule is one enforced through fear and subjugation, not loyalty and respect. Nevertheless, a leader is a leader, regardless of their methods of keeping their subjects in line. He is a capable ruler, able to command troops and workers alike efficiently, even if he prefers to do the fighting himself, and leave everyday management to people below him. Had he enough power and manpower, he would have led an attack on Hueco Mundo long ago. Some say he would succeed. Some say he will. It’s all conjecture, though – the proof is in the pudding.
EXTRAS:Did I mention he’s evil?
Had I known one human's death would have pained you so, I would have killed more. WEAPONS:Rudianos possesses massive amounts of brute strength – only fitting, given his size, build and weight. It is only fitting that, over the years, he has developed a style of fighting that incorporates this. He aims to break their bones, and break their wills. In addition, his massive weight is useful for grounding himself against attacks, making it difficult to move him much. ZANPAKUTO:name: Omega
sealed form: Rudianos' Zanpakuto befits his huge stature. As opposed to the katanas that so regularly appear, Rudianos uses a sword that is massive by comparison, and would usually be a two-handed sword. The handle is thin, in comparison to the actual blade, and is grey in colour. The hilt is a semicircle, the rounded edge pointing down, and is black. The blade itself looks to be extremely vicious. About two feet in length, half of the blade extends beyond the tip of the other half, creating a vicious point. The blade's edges are serrated, to give it that extra kick when it is thrust into a foe. Click for image
RESURRECCION:release command: Annihilate, Omega.
description: Rudianos reverts back to his base Hollow form, by allowing half of each of his gloves to return to him – in other words, his gloves are reduced to half of their original thickness, as he was actually wearing two pairs. Rudianos, as a result, gains grey shoulder guards though they do not actually extend to his arms, or beyond halfway along his collarbone. In addition, he gains what appears to be a belt across his stomach, in the middle of it the outline of a hexagon. His boots and his gloves extend beyond his forelimbs, and seem to take on a metallic sheen, just like the rest of his clothing. The rest of Rudianos' helmet grows back, covering his face in blue-tinted bone, that grows darker and bluer the closer it reaches the edges of his face. Click here for image.
The transformation allows Rudianos the ability to project and control a peculiar form of raw energy, which he dubs "Omega Power." While he is incapable of forming more complex shapes without a solid base at present, he can project things such as beams and shields with ease. type: Energy Manipulation
stat upgrades: +4 REI +4 SEI
techniques: For: Resurreccion Name: Omega Beam Type: Offensive Cooldown: Three of Rudianos' posts Cost: Moderate-low Range: Long, Mid Description: Rudianos' Omega beam focuses the energy he manipulates into a beam projected from his eyes, allowing for a powerful mid-long range attack. The real draw to this attack, however, is Rudianos' ability to alter its direction at will. Until the beam connects with a solid object of significant size and density - so not, for a example, a cloud of dust - Rudianos can alter the direction the beam goes in, but is only able to incorporate sharp turns into it. The beams can be turned a maximum of ten times times, after which they will go in a straight line until they collide with something. The downside to this attack is that he cannot move from the spot he is standing in while the attack is active, leaving him open to attack. In addition, the beams suffer damage falloff after 5 turns - the beams' power is cut in half. The beams are fast, however, somewhere between a Bala and a Cero, and require no charge-up.
For: Resurreccion Name: Omega Shield Type: Defensive Cost: Moderate-high Range: Self Description: Rudianos projects a highly dense shield of blood-red energy, approximately fifty centimetres in diameter. The shield is capable of completely absorbing the energy-based attacks of those who have half of his Seijuu rating or less, and can lessen the power of any other energy attacks capable of breaking through. In addition, physical attacks are slowed significantly as they pass through, though the attacker will suffer no actual stat penalty.
For: Resurreccion Name: Omega Skin Type: Passive, three of Rudianos' posts, cooldown of five posts Cost: Moderate-Weak Range: Self Description: Rudianos coats himself with a layer of energy - which, despite its effects on others, does not seem to have any adverse effects on him. The technique provides an additional layer of defense, much like a Hierro, though significantly weaker. The primary function is not to block blows, however - moreover, it is to actually negate them. Omega Skin cancels out a portion of the kinetic energy of physical attacks that connect with Rudianos, weakening them. Weak opponents will barely be able to touch scratch him while this ability is active. Combined with his immense weight, this also provides an excellent tool for grounding himself against attacks. A thicker layer would be needed to protect against energy-based attacks, however, so he would still be vulnerable to those.
Name: Omega Cero Cost: High Range: Short-mid Class/level: AD-0 Description: The Cero takes on a blood red colour, similar to the energy Rudianos uses. The attack is different, however, in that it is essentially a normal Cero, but condensed into a beam approximately fifteen centimetres wide. While such a feat is incredibly taxing for the user, the effects are phenomenal. A Cero on its own is powerful enough, but manage to condense it into an area that size, and that's one hell of a powerful attack. This attack is so taxing, however, that the user will likely have to take a turn to recover their energy. As a side note, Rudianos' eyes glow especially fiercely while this attack is being used.
SEGUNDA ETAPA:
note that you cannot start off with segunda etapa. It can be learned once the character reaches MT-2.
description: explain how the appearance of your character changes during segunda and their basic ability. It should build upon the appearance in resurreccion.
type: either list an element, or something else that clearly represents the abilities this character will gain in segunda etapa. Be aware that abilities do not stack (except stat changes), so all resurreccion techniques are replaced with the segunda etapa techniques upon release.
stat upgrades: which stats increase in res and by how much? Only fill this out after you have been given your class/level.
techniques: may have 4 to start. Register these through creation before adding them to your application.
And kill more I shall. Carry that agony with you to Oblivion, worm! HISTORY: From the start, Rudianos was not exactly the luckiest of people. Born to the leader of a Celtic tribe in what we now call Britain, the members of it would have expected great things from him. Unfortunately, the child was born to a father who was showing signs of losing his marbles, so to speak. Nobody spotted it at first, and for a good portion of the child’s early life. He was getting more aggressive, yes, but people only interpreted this as him being more eager for battle, and people were happy to oblige – that is, until he started killing people. The child grew up the son of a warrior and a leader, though the teachings he received were often skewed beyond what was originally intended. He was taught to seek power, to always be the man on top. He was taught to crush all who would dare stand in his way, and to decimate anyone who would even think to stand up to him. And these lessons earned him respect in battle, where his enemies feared to step too close to him, for fear of having him unleash his wrath upon them. Life off of the battlefield was a different kettle of fish altogether, though. The tribe had had enough. They wanted to oust their leader, in favour of one who could actually have them fight, instead of just be slaughtered. Yes, they enjoyed a swordfight as much as the next tribe. But outside of battle, they were starving, and more people were dying of disease and starvation than on the battlefield. Given the era, this is hardly surprising, but so was their reaction – to overthrow the leader. In the process, his entire family was murdered. And, amongst these people were his sons – including one Rudianos, so named by his now-insane father after a god of war. Of course, this development caused Rudianos a massive deal of resentment. He became tethered to his place of residence, screaming and hollering as he cried out for revenge. Nobody seemed to notice him, however, not even Hollows or Shinigami. None passed by, and none were even sensed. In time, this naturally led to Rudianos becoming a Hollow, but strangely, part of his old personality remained. Not that anybody would have noticed – it was his warmongering attitude, the one that called out for all to kneel before him, his hunger for subjugation unmatched by low-class Hollows such as himself. He started by consuming all that he could in his tribe, devouring them without a moment’s notice. The years passed, and eventually, not even vast amounts of Pluses were able to satiate his hunger. Rudianos turned his sights to other Hollows, defeating and devouring them in the most brutal manners possible. He showed no signs of letting up, to a surprising degree – even for a Hollow. It was inevitable that he transformed into a Gillian, though instinct drove him to move to Hueco Mundo. There is not much to be said on what else he did there – he continued to devour, though Rudianos’ mind continued to claw its way up, his exceedingly strong willpower proving more than enough to constitute a takeover, and as a result, his evolution into an Adjuchas. It did not take long for Rudianos to claw the mask from his face, upon learning that it could grant him even more power. That was all he had ever desired – power. However, now that he had spent some time on his own, he had managed to calm the blazing fires of hatred his father had lit inside him – instead replacing it with a cold, deathly chill, and complete apathy towards another being’s life. He began to tour Hueco Mundo further, his kill count ever increasing. To some, Brokeback Mountain was a movie. To Rudianos, it was what he called a pile of corpses he had accumulated at one point. It wasn’t long before news of his bloodshed reached Las Noches. The ruler of it at the time though he would be useful, and that his personality could be twisted into being more obedient. In truth, while he appeared to be willing to follow orders, it was a façade. He still retained his hunger for power, and his thirst for blood. This was displayed when the Espada ranked Ninth at the time called him out, and attempted to put him down before any real damage was done. Rudianos easily overpowered his superior (in rank, at least), and did not hesitate to crush his face beneath his heel. The Espada was brutally murdered – to nobody’s surprise. Nobody else knew his motives, however, which allowed Rudianos the opportunity to usurp the position.
Currently, Rudianos plots against his more powerful “allies,” and hones his body and abilities. While most suspect he will execute a coup sometime in the future, few think he actually has the capability of pulling it off. But, he knows how to bide his time. And when the time comes, he is more thawilling to lay waste to those who underestimated him. RP SAMPLE:The Visored standing before Rudianos was, by his estimates, at a lieutenant’s level. And he had picked a fight with the Espada who had gotten his position by savagely beating his predecessor into a bloody, spiritual pulp. There was no mistaking that the tension between the two was thick, but any fool could tell that there was something more to it. They were trying to intimidate each other – they were trying to make each other back down before the fight had even started. Of course, it was also fairly obvious that surrendering would yield no results, apart from a dishonourable death.
“It’s over, Arrancar. I’ll slay you, this day.” The Visored pointed his blade towards Rudianos, but his response, The Espada looking towards him with a smug grin on his face. “You think you can subdue me with words and with your mere presence. How annoying. You are but a maggot to squash beneath my boot, child. I have lived your life more than five times over, and I have acquired strength enough to crush weaklings like you without effort. Do not take me for a mere Hollow.” “Your funeral.” The Visored leapt forwards, Flash Step activating. No reaction was elicited – however, Rudianos was more than ready.
Without so much as flinching, his hand shot out to his side, catching the katana in his grip. Rudianos turned his head to face his foe, his face now akin to that of thunder. And, while the Visored desperately attempted to free his sword from Rudianos’ vice-like grip, his free hand came hurtling towards his foe, with enough force to put a bullet train to shame. A sickening crunch sounded as the blow landed, after which the Visored reeled backwards, holding his now-aching jaw in shock. Rudianos simply tossed his Zanpakutō back, though he seemed to refuse to draw his own.
“Your attacks are pitiful, Soul Reaper. Do not tell me you thought challenging me like this was a good idea?” “Shut up! Just die already!” Mindlessly, the katana-wielder charged in once again, though this time, Rudianos made no attempt to intercept the attack. Instead, he simply allowed the blade to penetrate his skin, though once it began to burrow into his flesh, he grabbed its blade, and with some degree of strain, forced it backwards. He refused to disarm his foe, however – he believed that, if he let him go full-pelt, he could break him by showing him his own power.
The Visored released his Shikai, and let loose a stream of fire, hitting Rudianos square in the face. This actually managed to cause him to flinch – as did the volley of fireballs hurled at him, each forcing him back a little more. Unable to block effectively, Rudianos stumbled backwards, clumsily batting away a few projectiles, but most managed to hit their mark. “Your arrogance blinds you, fiend, as do my attacks!” Flash step was once more activated, and the Visored dashed in, landing yet more blows on Rudianos. The Hierro would only protect against so much – he couldn’t resist all of the blows.
Exhausted, the Visored stopped, panting, though the strain of the battle seemed to have more of an effect. His Hollow mask was beginning to form, and despite his best efforts, the beast inside of him was starting to win. And, though he was indeed bleeding from all sorts of places, Rudianos seemed to be faring much better. He was able to stride purposefully towards the struggling man, arms folded behind his back, eyes focussed intently on the events unfolding before him. “Yes, my child… let the monster inside of you loose. Lose yourself to aggression, so that I may destroy two of you.”
“Enough talk, gramps!” the masked man exclaimed, in the distorted tone typical of such a person, “It’s time to show you what this body’s really capable of!” The blows coming at Rudianos were too fast and powerful to simply catch, this time around. He had to actually guard and parry, you see. The two exchanged blows, the sounds of both hitting each other able to be heard the next block over. The Visored’s were fast, and efficient, but they lacked the brute power that Rudianos had in spades. For even though his foe could guard, the fists and kicks that were launched were powerful enough to shift and shake even that.
“Enough!” it exclaimed, “This ends now!” “If I had a penny for every time I had heard that one. At least, I think that’s what the humans say.” The Hollowified Visored leaned back, evidently attempting a Cero. However, Rudianos was not as slow as his size would indicate. He moved in as the Cero was being charged up, and placed both hands over the mask, and crushed it as hard as he could. Cracks began to form, as the Cero exploded at point-blank range. Had he activated his Resurreccion, Rudianos would have been able to withstand the blast, but as he was in his normal state, he was flung back like a ragdoll.
The Visored, however, was far worse off. Bleeding, with his mask in fragments, he was powerless to stop the injured Rudianos from looming over him. “I’ll admit,” the Espada muttered, “You put up more of a fight than those who I usually engage. I will grant you the mercy of a swift death for your efforts.” And, before his foe could even groan, before he could exhale his last breath, Rudianos picked his foe up, andsnapped his neck. In fact, eh did not just snap it – he literally turned tha man’s head, to the extent that it was permanently shifted to one side. The snap was music to Rudianos’ ears – music he had heard many times over, but it was the kind he could listen to over and over again, without tiring.
