Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima was moving from rooftop to rooftop quickly. His eyes scanned side to side along the city. Pitter patters of water off his umbrella let him know the rain was still in force. Which for the most part was nice as he flew on his hirenkyaku. He could sense a few spiritually active individuals nearby, but their scents were hard to pick out, and so he began to drop lower to the ground, along some of the less crowded roads. He shifted around a bit and began to let his reiatsu pulse out to hopefully draw in anyone negative.
With that his day would be set up for fun times. He placed the umbrella between his head and shoulder while his hands fiddled with his cigarettes and his lighter, pulling one up and working it so that he was smoking in seconds, still waiting for some presence to show. Boredom was taking its toll however, and an afterthought of warming up set in and Takeshima reached inside his pocket and chucked up a few hollow bait coins, sitting back and waiting for the hollow to come through. As they did he picked them off quickly, and began to repeat it with a few more coins.

There was a good reason nobody seemed to recognise Saito whenever he went out in his signature disguise – it was that nobody knew what his signature disguise was. The man chuckled slightly as he strolled along, safe in the knowledge that he was the only one that knew about his cross dressing habits. Indeed, it was hard to believe the cold, calculating, tough-as-nails lieutenant of the Kido Corps liked to dress up as a woman. The strange thing was that he was actually rather convincing – his feminine features made him look like a woman with the right make-up, and over the years, his mastery of imitating a female voice had become quite remarkable.
However, his smug little stroll was interrupted by a sudden spike in the amount of spiritual beings in the area. A few ambient traces were inevitable, but this was getting ridiculous – and, if he had learned anything over the years, there was probably going to be only one reason why so many Hollows were in the area. “Hollow bait…” Though reluctant to run in his new skirt and jacket, Saito dashed to the scene of the crime, Zanpakuto drawn as he ran, half-expecting some cocky rookie Quincy to be on the floor, half of his body chewed not-so-cleanly off. He was, however, a little surprise that someone a little less stupid-looking was there.
“Having a good time?” he asked, one hand on his hip, the other hanging limply by his side. “You know, it’s really a pain, having to clean all this up. Not that I doubt your skills, however few you have, but people have a tough enough time without these… shenanigans.”

He's a fancy asshat. | [atrb=style,background-color: #d4d4d4; width: 308px;]Sorin knew whenever he was in Japan, trouble was bound to happen. He didn't want to be the center of attention for whatever trouble was bound to happen, but if something needed to be corrected, he'll do it his own way. His way, being with a camera and exposing whoever or whatever was causing him the trouble, or likely posting a hit on their head. Whichever was easier for him would be the likely choice, however the fact of the matter was he didn't have anything to worry about. Nothing was going on at that moment in time, and he was glad for it. He was able to relax and just enjoy the scenery of the area he was in. Even if he felt a spiritual presence around, he didn't see it. So that automatically made it not his problem. It wasn't very classy of him to barge into a situation without knowing what was going on.
However, Sorin's interest piqued when a number of spiritual presences were gathered in one area. Sorin raised a brow at this. It could easily be made his problem if he could find the right amount of value to it. He walked to the area he felt it all in, and saw a group of hollows on a roof, but only for a moment. They died pretty quickly, so it had to be someone trained to do shit like this. Sorin hopped up to the roofs to see what the hell was going on. That's when he saw the stupidest sight he possibly ever saw. There was a man on the roof, but the idiotic thing was he was throwing hollow bait in the air. Yeah, this became his problem.
Sorin sighed out loud, not caring if he was seen or not. Thankfully someone else arrived up on the rooftops and another hollow bait wasn't thrown in the air. He held his camera up and took a picture of the sight ahead of him. There was a man and a girl over there now, perhaps it was time to make his own entrance. Sorin jumped over to the area they were in, and looked directly at the man who was throwing the hollow bait. "Do you have any idea how idiotic that was" He glared at the young man, emphasizing how disappointed he was in his actions. People these days really needed to be taught a lesson. If the girl didn't do it, then he would punish him.

Shima was waiting, picking off stray hollow when the first presence appeared. The pureness radiated off this… person, and Takeshima peered over at them while he fired an arrow without looking. It flew and met his target, piercing through it’s mask rather squarely. He lowered his bow as the womanly looking person spoke and Takeshima just looked away.
“Was I having a good time?†He questioned while keeping the umbrella up, skillfully for having just been firing his bow and arrow. His nose scrunched as the shinigami said the words, â€...however few you have,â€. “Cute.†Takeshima told the crossdresser before he closed his eyes, “I’ll have you know, my ‘few’ skills outmatch however many thousand you could think of.†Takeshima said before a much stronger presence was felt. His teeth clenched and he slowly twisted his head. “Quincy?,†He whispered as he gathered the pure scent of the new human. No chance was this a normal human, not being that strong. “It’s only idiotic based upon the skill you have. I don’t miss hollow.†He said as he turned. This man was stronger, that was a little worrisome, but Takeshima was looking for something, someone strong, to push him to his limits, to let him expand upon his limits.
“Now the question is, do either of you plan on stopping me from enjoying myself?†He asked as he formed a devious plot, pulling out another coin with his right hand, staring at it, and waiting for someone to make a move.

“Hold your tongue, boy. If you’re as smart as you are handsome, you’ll know that versatility can be deadly when combined with experience and power. And believe me… Nothing is ever as it seems.” Saito spoke flirtatiously, giving the slightest of smirks at the end of his little speech. It wasn’t as if he was attempting to seduce the man, though if he did, that would be quite the added bonus. No, in fact, he was just trying to gauge his opponent. See if he could distract him, make him falter. If he succumbed to a pretty face, or if a sudden change in attitude caught him out, then he would mess with him a little more. Purely for kicks, however – the Hollows were mook-level at best.
“Don’t worry. I don’t feel like stopping you from enjoying yourself. I just don’t advocate the use of Hollow Bait. Either way, one of us is getting impaled, one way or another.” With that, Saito did not even give a chance for Takeshima to respond, instead drawing close to him. Not to do anything suggestive, however – the time for flirting was over (for now). Saito could sense that the man was more powerful than him, but if he played his cards right, experience and the versatility offered by Kido and his training would make up for the power gap.
Saito decided to open up with a vicious left hook – while not particularly powerful, it was quick, and it would likely smart. Considering the number of viable targets on the side of someone’s head, such a move would be good for dealing with the uninitiated. But, the two were well-accustomed to combat, so it seemed.

XD WHAT ARE THESE SYMBOLS?! | [atrb=style,background-color: #d4d4d4; width: 308px;]Sorin sighed at the general turn of things. The idiot was planning something, and it was likely that it wasn't anything good. When the female did nothing to assert the situation, or anything useful at all, Sorin knew it was his time to actually do things. He raised his camera and took a picture of the man while he was holding his coin. The flash of his camera was surely enough to capture the man and expose him for what he was, which was an asshole. Honestly, was he going to do anything to stop him? That's a villainous thing of the man to say, and a kind of dick move, too. He really didn't want to deal with this guy longer than what was necessary.
Sorin then removed his camera and tucked it safely away in his messenger bag, hoping to not get it scratched with the things that were to come. "It seems like this one isn't going to be doing a thing about it, however I will. Put it away before I use excessive force." Sorin made sure his voice was menacing enough to let his message be known. If the man didn't get the message, then his idiocy would be made perfectly clear.
Sorin then glanced at the girl who was with them. "You could be doing more than just flirt with him, you know." Needless to say, he was a bit upset with her. She was only encouraging his behavior. It was as if he stumbled into an area where low IQs were a common thing. Sorin wanted to tell them all about their idiocy, but he was far too above that. Instead, he removed his ring from his bag and put it on, preparing himself to use all force he needed. He wasn't fast, but speed wasn't everything. Using force didn't even require that much speed, just brute strength.

Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
Shima was watching, waiting, listening to everything going on around him. It was quite a boring set of talking that was going on around him. The ‘woman’ was speaking to him in a way that put him on immediate distance, Shima not much of a hunter when it came to the dating game. His left hand spun the disc around his right index finger, the way basketball players would spin the ball around their finger as a trick. “The bait is protection from you I’m afraid.” Takeshima told the man who told him to put it away, “Merely to make sure that I’m not being double teamed.” He said, as the man then spoke to the girl about flirting with him. After that his eyes shifted between the two people slowly, before he flipped the coin, catching it in his left hand and pocketing it carefully, shoving his right hand into his pocket as well. Then the shinigami was charging at him. As they got into range and began to swing with that vicious hook, Takeshima simply leaned back, whispering the words, “Too slow.” It wasn’t so much after the double-u left his lips, and the hook was nearly complete, he vanished on his hirenkyaku and moved back, away from the shinigami, parallel to the human before he raised his left hand up.
“Well then, I suppose I should start fighting then.” He said as the black metallic bow began to appear in his hand, a blue stripe running along it, matching and opposing the colors on his glove. “Can you keep up with me?” He asked out loud, completely within earshot of the human as he began to pull back a few arrows, his eyes carefully trained on the Shinigami, any step she took would lead to a barrage of forty or so arrows within a split second in her direction, at, ahead, and behind the shinigami lead to a nearly guaranteed hit. It also helped that he would mentally control the arrows to aim direction at the him.

Though blocked and rebuffed, Saito did not appear to lose focus – in fact, he seemed even more apprehensive of the situation. Takeshima obviously would be a pushover – mind games and suchlike would not be viable tactics at this point in time. Instead, it would likely just be a straight-up fight. “And that’s the thing.” Saito said, in response to Takeshima’s justification for using the bait. “I’ve gotten several reports of you letting off Hollow bait. And you can’t be allowed to continue, Quincy. You just can’t.” The tone in Nakai’s voice was unmistakable. If Takeshima expected him to just keel over and die, he had another thing coming.
“Oh baby, I’ll match you any day of the week.” Nakai drew his Zanpakutō, though that was not his real aim. It was merely a distraction – his stance, how he was focussing, everything. Most would think he would attempt a full-frontal assault, or that he would attempt to use his blade to deflect any arrows directed at him. Neither of these propositions were true. Saito was the Kido corps’ lieutenant, and as such, his speciality was kido. Naturally, this meant he usually had a technique ready for each situation. Not that one would be able to tell, of course – t that point in time, it looked like he was just in a sloppy stace, as opposed to readying himself to attack with Kido.

Sorin had to ready himself for a great strategy. He tried to examine his foe's way of doing things, which looked like he was going to go at it with a hot head. Sorin brought his hands togeter and slowly pulled them away from eachother, revealing a jagged black ball. You could barely see into the ball because of it's dark color, making the multicolored smoke on the inside of it just barely visible. Since the battle had already started while Sorin was hardly paying attention to things, he threw the crystal at the man's legs.He didn't know if it hit him or not, but knew for sure it broke. Smoke filled the area that he threw it at, making whatever was in that general area nearly impossible to see through. The smoke had no toxins in it, so he was glad he wasn't unleashing a deadly disease into the area, seeing as he was still there and not immune to anything.
He assumed that would be enough to hold back the man for a few moments, and didn't even care if it hindered his battle partner. The girl should know to not go blindly into the area, considering it could have been very dangerous depending on if the man was still over there or not. Sorin tried to keep an eye on everything around him, making sure the man didn't sneak up on him. Sorin backed up a few feet, making sure he wasn't in the front lines for an attack from out of the smoke. If anything, the girl would be hit first and Sorin's power would go on ignored, allowing him to go at it from the sidelines. Stategy was a more important element right now. The man was obviously faster than him, as he had displayed a bit earlier.
Sorin then took his sword from his messenger bag and held it in the hand opposite of his ring. "I possibly could never comprehend the reasons behind your stupidity." Sorin sighed and drew his sword up to his chest, readying himself to defend whatever was to come. While he was waiting on an attack from the man, he decided it was best to summon up another ball, in case he needed something else to happen. Sorin summoned a ball with a snowflake pattern on it and had it float in his palm while he awaited for the man to make a move.

Takeshima’s eyes focused deeply, and he was watching. His eyes scanned across the two as he held his bow pulled back. As the shinigami never moved, Takeshima never released the bow, and his eyes shifted and he checked to the other person, who had some odd black ball appearing in his hand. Takeshima shifted back, letting the arrow fade as he jumped back and the ball exploded into smoke.
“Heheh,” Takeshima chuckled before his reiatsu suddenly nearly faded, at least to Saito. Sorin’s adept spiritual skill would allow him to still pick out Shima with focus, but that wasn’t important. The field was scattered in smoke, and because of that, Takeshima had an advantage. The rain drowned out his footsteps, the smoke took him away from view, and so he closed his eyes. “I can see.” He whispered to himself as he could feel the spiritual energies so vividly. His arrow pulled back and suddenly, Sorin would notice a barage of arrows at him, whereas Saito would be much less lucky, as she had been in the smoke as well, the arrows coming towards him would be much harder to detect and dodge, not taking into account their sheer speed and number. Within two seconds, there were fifty arrows firing towards both of them, with a big enough spread that even avoiding should catch them.
“Keep up!” Takeshima yelled, moving as to not be detected by at least one of them.

Though surprised at the use of a smoke bomb, Saito was not inhibited by it much. He still had years’ worth of experience tracking foes without needing to see them – the most the smoke would do was leave a nasty smell lingering on his clothes. However, Takeshima was still capable of masking his presence – a rather annoying fact, but Nakai didn’t let this faze him. He had orders to take out the Quincy, by hook or by crook, and he wasn’t going to let some pansy smoke bomb and a bit of stealth stop him. Kido primed, he bided his time, waiting for just the right moment.
“Hado, number fifty-eight – Tenran!” Saito leapt into the air, and aimed the tornado at the floor, boosting him higher, and clearing the smoke at the same time. And, though purely through coincidence, he caught most of the arrows in the blast. It wouldn’t be enough to stop them, but taking the available factors into account, they likely wouldn’t hurt much more than a bee sting. The ones that were spread out from the rest were easily taken care of, by means of his Zanpakuto cleaving straight through them, with Nakai himself a whirling dervish of steel and spells, and some rather fine-looking hair.
Saito landed, giggling a little, though keeping track of Takeshima proved relatively easy for him. He did not plan on chasing the Quincy – it was rather evident who was the swifter of the two. However, that did not mean that he wasn’t available to interception. Saito attempted to predict Takeshima’s path, and Shunpo’d to a point where – if his calculations were correct – he would be directly next to him.

Sorin sensed the guy moving about in the small smokey area. He didn't have much cover in there, so Sorin decided to throw the ball in his hand at him. However, a barrage of arrows came out at both himself and the girl. She summoned a tornado to get most of them, but not all. Sorin did his best to run out of the way, getting scraped in the leg and on his shoulder. He sighed and threw the crystal ball at the quincy, aiming for his stomach. Though he was sure the other man would avoid being hit by the ball.
Sorin decided to rush in after his ball and swing his sword at the man's left arm, then went in for a three more slices near the stomach area and one at his left leg. Then he moved back, trying to avoid any hit that came towards himself. He put his sword back in it's previous position, which was shielding his chest then stood in a defensive stance, ready to summon another ball to protect himself from any oncoming attacks.
"This is already bland and boring" Sorin decided to address the two that were near him. He was already upset with himself for getting involved when he didn't need to. He already had a picture of this man. He had proven himself to be enough of a nuisance for him to want to get rid of, so he decided that once he left, he'd put a hit on his head. "If you win or lose this, it doesn't matter. I don't see you living very long after this. Take those words however you wish." He smirked, hoping for his words to prove as some sort of distraction.

Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima opened his eyes stopping, and watching. As the man threw the ball Takeshima’s bow raised and he fired off five arrows in quick succession that pegged it back, and then the man was coming in, each swing Takeshima was simply jumping back, far faster than the man. Each swing Takeshima was jumping back, hearing the wind off the blades, and once the man began to retreat, ten arrows followed him back as Takeshima fired away, looking left and right. He listened to both of them and laughed.
“Hahah, you know it’s funny.” He told them both. “I’ve been here, killing hollows, saving lives, and here you shinigami are out to get me,” and then his head turned, “And you pesky simpleton want me dead. I never really give people a reason to hate me, but I’m sick of you!” He said as a coin shaped disk was pulled from his pocket and thrown hard at Sorin, as it got close Shima fired off an arrow, which pierced it and cause it to disperse. Takeshima quickly turned and began to fire at Saito, sending fifteen arrows his way, while suddenly two weak hollow would begin to break through gargantas, searching for the soul energies released by the hollow bait, and the nearest source being Sorin. While Sorin dealt with the ceros or whatever attacks would be going off near him, Takeshima vanished suddenly. “Boo.” He said as his hirenkyaku had carried him behind Saito, quicker than he would have been able to see, or deal with with the barrage of arrows. In Takeshima’s right hand was a sword, which he was aiming to cut across Saito’s right shoulder, with a downward cut. Not to separate the limb, but just damage it, while Shima’s right hand was out and grabbing at Saito’s clothes, to plant a crystal shard. Suddenly, he would hirenkyaku backwards nearly disappearing once again, and then if Takeshima was successful in stabbing the shard in, which he probably would be with his quickness, and Saito’s focusing with the arrows, and then the sword attack, the shard would detonate, damaging Saito’s left arm greatly, and hopefully putting him out of the fight for a bit.

Saito, not missing a beat, responded to Takeshima’s retort. “And who do you think keeps attracting Hollows and putting people in danger? You’re a hypocrite, boy and I’ll see you face-down in the dirt.” And, oddly enough, Saito ran at the arrows – not to get hit, but to avoid them. Flash Step was used, an instant before the arrows hit, and he reappeared above them. Some scraped his legs, leaving cuts, but nothing that would cause much more than a minor inconvenience. The wounds were noted, but ignored – it wasn’t as if combat would cause that sort of wound to open much, anyway.
Saito turned, a slight look of shock plastered across his face as Takeshima appeared behind him. The arrows had been dealt with, but he didn’t have enough time to react fully to the strike behind him. He managed to reposition himself, so that the wound left a shallow cut, but it smarted nonetheless. Fortunately, this turn of events allowed Nakai the opportunity to wrestle briefly with Takeshima, preventing him from getting the crystal in his clothing – he also attempted to get a few well-placed punches in. A forceful strike to the temple or jaw was painful – there were no two ways of looking at it. Once his foe had moved backwards, Nakai tossed the shard forwards, but though he sustained no real damage (save for a singed eyebrow), the explosion tossed him backwards, leaving him sliding back a little on the ground, shoes digging into the dirt.
Hoping Takeshima would be too busy fending off the third fighter to notice him, or for him to possibly still be distracted by the explosion, Nakai began muttering. "The East, The West, The North and South. We call out Rondanini's flesh to severe ties to the outside and bring forces to crush down all who oppose! Bakudo, number forty-seven – Kagami Hako!” Mirror Box – a devastating technique, for those who knew how to use it. Given Nakai’s ability, he could cover a decent-sized area, probably several feet in radius. He hadn’t used the spell in a while – he wouldn’t know. Regardless, even if Takeshima – or the other one, for that matter – manged to try and interrupt him, Nakai was capable of abandoning the chant and legging it. He wasn’t that stupid.

Each swing of his blade missed, which wasn't surprising. The man was faster, that was obvious. Although he was probably making up in speed for what he was lacking in actual ability. Sorin formed a kegged ball around himself, protecting himself from the arrows that were sent his way. It shattered once the last arrow hit, but he wasn't planning on dodging anymore. He heard the man laugh, but didn't respond to it. It probably served as a taunt, but this guy wasn't very menacing. He was generic at best.
Sorin ignored the boring and bland response from the Quincy about being a pesky simpleton. That man was just jealous. That much was obvious. He was close to leaving it all up to the shinigami to deal with when suddenly something opened up close to him. Two hollows stepped out of a garantua then came his own way. That was going to make his early exit hard.
The hollows were pretty weak, meaning he could easily defeat them. One of them fired a cero at Sorin, but he jumped out of it's way at the last moment. The other one launched in for a direct attack, although while it was mid jump Sorin came at it with his sword slicing it down it's middle. That effort proved to be worthless, though. His sword only proved as a distraction to the spiritual beings.
It did almost no damage, but it bought him time. He threw it at the other one, distracting that one from attacking him so he could focus on the one in front of him. Sorin grabbed the hollow by the throat and threw it to the ground. While it was on it's back he hit it several times, punching a hole through it on his last blow. It was disappointing that he had to kill it, but his own life was at stake. It still was in danger, but not as much as before. There was only one hollow this time, but this o e seemed a little more dangerous.
As Sorin stood up the other hollow fired another cero at him. He had to jump out of the way quickly, thankful that it was firing from such a far distance. He began running at this one, trying to do the same as he did with the last hollow, but his effort didn't work. This one got out of the way of his throat grab and tried to bite his arm. Sorin allowed the bite, not caring that he began to bleed. He needed the close distance to kill it off. He grabbed it by it's jaw and opened it enough to remove his arm from the teeth. Then Sorin took the top of it's mouth with his hand, keeping the other one on the jaw and pulled it apart as hard as he could, ripping the jaw off. The he threw both the hollow and the jaw to the ground and stomped on the hillow's head until it ceased to live.
Sorin turned to the commotion happening between the girl and the quincy. It seemed he was the third wheel in this fight, which wasn't very cool. He walked over to his sword and picked it up, throwing it at the quincy, expecting him to just dodge it. This was beginning to get pretty boring. Until Tomorrow's Light Shines |
