It had been a week and a half or so since Naomi had spoken to Takeshima. Since then she had recruited one Quincy to her cause and perhaps another if she was lucky. Sitting at the bar in her room she had sent Takeshima a text message to come to her house. That she had something to show him that he hadn't seen yet. Naomi was hard at work every day training as of late. Since she couldn't have Takeshima in her bed she was plotting and getting stronger. What else did she have to do but these things? Since she was growing stronger now she felt confident enough in her abilities that she needed to show Takeshima what was underneath her mansion.
This is where all her Quincy stuff was. Books, artifacts, Sanrei Gloves, Seele Schendiers, Soul Synthesized Silver as far as the eye could see. She was also in the process of building several different other weapons but they were not entirely completely yet. She was thinking about cross-bows with revolver like drums that could shoot compacted seele schendiers. Modified seele schendiers that took the form of actual swords complete with hilts, or other seele schendiers that were fashioned into spears and much longer than the normal ones. Even working on guns that could take pure soul silver rounds much like the 50 cal sniper rifle she had developed and was soon perfecting. All of these were in a lot of the testing stages and it was only a matter of time before she had an whole arsenal of weapons for the Quincy's disposal.
She even had rooms deeper in the compound that were filled with military grade explosives. Everything from C4, to TNT, to even nitroglycerine. Stock piles of hollow bait were stored in other locations far away from the explosives. Her operation was massive down here, and anyone who dared to snoop around could easily get lost or get killed due to the extensive amount of traps and security that was laid around the catacombs underneath her mansion. The place where she was taking Takeshima would be an empty room, half as big as a foot ball field for them to spar in. Other rooms jutted off from this room.
These other rooms included a pool, a gym complete with equipment and tv's. There was even a targeting range where anyone could shoot arrows for hours without bother from anyone else. Currently, Naomi had made her way down to her living room as she waited for Takeshima to arrive. She was in a pair of work out pants, and a sleeveless shirt. Her Sanrei Glove could be easily seen on her right hand. To top this all off she was wearing a pair of tight fitting shoes so she could run as she pleased. Hopefully Takeshima could run her ragged, because she knew when they were done they would be both bruised, and perhaps even bloody.

Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
After a few knocks, the door would open for Takeshima, and he could be seen standing in the doorway, holding his cup of coffee, looking slightly ragged as he had done nothing with his hair, though it still seemed to have some look of style. The bags from before had vanished from beneath his eyes, at least mostly. There were small wrinkles, although they looked mostly normal. He was wearing his normal black jeans, though his shoes were more of a pair one would wear to go jogging in, and his t-shirt was undeniably under armour, with the X logo on the left side of his chest.
The morning was strange. It was oddly humid out, and Takeshima didn’t want to wear everything he normally did. He didn’t even feel like suiting up in his schneider laid vest like normal. Instead one single one hung loosely from his hip, on a thin clip. The text he was sent somewhat drug him down, as he still felt terrible for rejecting the kindness that Naomi was offering him. Still, he had a bit of cologne and a nice scent of black dhalia about him from it. He had stopped by his favorite coffee place for a simple cup of black, before he headed over, moving quickly and simply flying on his hirenkyaku.
After the door was open, and Takeshima looked up to see her, he smiled, which was an odd thing for him. It was a bright, warm smile. “Naomi.” He said as he took a small step forward, wrapping his right arm around her, while his left hand held his coffee low to his side. After the quick hug which he thought would shock her a little, as well as his all around changed demeanor (he wouldn’t tell her about the extra mood balancer he had taken) which was quite different, especially with him touching her. Normally physical contact was inconceivable, but he was feeling different today. “It’s so very nice to see you.” He said pulling his body back. “How’ve you been?” He questioned as he rose his coffee and sipped it. He figured she deserved some kindness from him. Hopefully he was doing a good job.

A few knocks were heard on the door, Naomi disappeared from the couch and appeared in the door way. Opening it, and seeing Takeshima standing there. He was holding a cup of coffee and from the smell of it, it was black. He looked better, but she wasn't about to tell him that. The smile on his face from seeing her almost caused her to smile, but she quickly suppressed it. He spoke her name, and took step forward. Wrapping a arm around her in a half hug, she sniffed lightly. Smelling his cologne and resisted the urge to kiss him. She sadly, did not return the hug to him but held her arms to her sides as he did so. Takeshima said it was nice to see her, and she merely nodded at his words in turn, as he asked her how she was. "I am fine... Please, follow me. I have a lot to show you." She said, her words brushed with a bit of coldness to them. As he walked in she closed the door behind him and locked it. Setting the security system for outside the house in the process. Leading him across the room they ended up coming to a blank wall, with not a mark on it. Her finger found the area in the wall she wanted, and it was only as big as a quarter. Pressing her finger in, the wall depressed back and then slid up. Revealing soul silver doors. First thing she did was pressed her thumb print into a scanner, the next was a retina scan. Finally she spoke the word. "Zunft." She said, the system recognizing her voice as a bell was heard.
The sound of an elevator could be heard as the doors opened up. She walked into the elevator, and Takeshima followed. First thing was the wall came back down, and then finally the elevator doors closed as they started to descend deep down into the earth. About half way down she stopped the elevator, the same thing she did with Charlotte. "From the time we entered the elevator, and all the way down. Everything is soul synthesized silver as far as building materials go. If anyone tried to track us now, it'd be as if we disappeared from the world." She mentioned, as she hit the button again and they descended for another minute until the doors opened up. Walking out they were in a huge room, about half a foot ball field in length. From this room there were dozens of doors. "Each of these doors takes you some where. There is a pool complete with a locker room, sauna, and hot tub. Through that door is a weight room with state of the art machinery. I have firing ranges not only for Quincy bow use, but also for other long range weapons such as sniper rifles and guns." She said, pointing to each room in turn as she described what was in them. Takeshima could also see located in this room were a few snack and drink machines.
"The other doors lead deeper into the complex. Rooms for people to live in, recreational rooms, manufacturing rooms for seele schendiers and soul synthesized silver. There are also several rooms that contain prototype equipment that is not yet fit for field use. But all in all there is maybe a hundred rooms down here or more. There is also our archives which contains information about all the different races and factions in this world." She said, speaking about all of this as if it wasn't a big deal. "This is why I called you here today. I figured you had a right to know about all this. My family had started building this, its taken about three generations to complete, and I am finally doing some of the final touches as we speak." She spoke all this information rather coldly. She finally looked at Takeshima now her eye brow raised. "Well, what do you think of all this. Our.... organization is officially titled, "Zunft" for now. It means... Guild in German." She spoke, so far she hadn't let him get a word in edge wise about any of this, but now it was his turn to speak.

Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
When the hug wasn’t returned, Takeshima didn’t fret or anything. He was sure she wasn’t happy with him. The fact that she allowed him to touch her at all was a slight marvel, but he had stepped back and she had answered him, so he gave her a nod in return and gave another smile, this one much smaller than before, “Of course, I was sure you would.” He told her as he began to follow through the empty house and the odd, scooby-doo like hidden entrances. He heard the word she said and nodded, locking it away inside his memory. He knew plenty of the german language, and the word made sense immediately in his head. After they entered the elevator he touched the walls, and felt some resonance throughout it. It was such a peculiar thing. Just as he turned to ask Naomi what the material was the elevator stopped.
The feeling of the altering G-forces was a fun feeling, but after that he stared and listened to her explain that this was soul-synthesised silver. It seemed she had many more means than he had. It was quite impressive, he wondered just how much work had gone into this. Refinement most have taken forever in itself, much less the building. Keeping everything hidden from prying eyes. After a few seconds he just gave a few words, “It’s quite amazing.” He told her, keeping his words brief. It seemed she still wasn’t doing well with him. She was very monotone, and it seemed she was forcing distance between them. Which was fine, he wasn’t complaining. But it still sucked to know he had caused her some grief, and this was how she was dealing with it. He wasn’t here because she wanted him to be, only because he was a quincy who vowed to help her cause.
After the stop, and the small tour she had finally finished talking. Telling him he had a right, all the work put in here, everything. It seemed in the few moments of silence he was supposed to give his opinion on everything. “Geschichte wiederholt sich.” He told her, speaking in his german tongue just for fun, “History repeats itself..” There was a pause as he looked around, “Aus Schaden wird man klug. From damage, one becomes intelligent. That being said, I believe you’ve prepared for history to repeat itself, I believe you’ve mostly learned from the quincies past mistakes. You’ve prepared quite a place, except, Geklagtes Leid ist halbes Leid.” he said nodding, “A problem shared is a problem halved, yet we share this problem with too few. Our numbers are still low. I know it’s not just you and I any longer, but we are still without enough for a cause.” He told her “Unless you expect you and I to get much stronger and kill every single shinigami we find.” He said before exhaling softly, “If that’s the case, we should start training soon.

It was nice to see Takeshima appreciated all the hard work that had been put into this complex. After they had gone through the entire tour, and her speaking the entire time, a few moments of silence had fallen in between the two. Then finally he had realized it was his turn to speak and he finally did. Speaking in German than saying the English for what he had spoken. He continued to speak, sharing words of wisdom with her. Although the mentioning of how few members they had was a tad darkening to the more... pleasant mood she had been giving off. After he had stopped speaking she walked a few steps away from him then turned on her heel back to him. "You know, one of the reasons I hate you, is you always know how to speak the truth." She said, staring him down her hands hanging down at her side. "But everything your saying is... right. I want to act faster, but, it's not going to happen. Considering the fact that the majority of our members are even weaker than you, or closer to you." She said, as she started to pace back and forth in front of him. "I've waited a decade to complete this place, and I suppose if I have to wait another year to let my plans come to fruition then that's what it will take." She sighed, as she stopped facing, turning her body to Takeshima again.
"Until the time that we are more powerful, we will make attacks on Shinigami that wonder into our turf....we won't kill them, but test our powers against them, and learn from them." She said, a small smile rising up on her face, but it wasn't one of happiness, it was more sadistic than that. "Until then, the founders of this organization need to grow more powerful. Me, and you. Once we get stronger, maybe we can take more powerful Quincy from Conscero." Her hand flashed out, taking on the same likeness of the bow that Niiro had used. Naomi had already voiced the opinion that who ever Niiro was, was likely a family member. And as far as Takeshima knew, she had never seen or met Niiro yet. "While you've been away, I've...perfected a new technique... Blut." With this, the veins across her body pulsed as she went into the defensive form of blut. While, this would hamper some of her offensive capabilities, she did this knowing Takeshima was weaker than her. "Takeshima. I am going to use the defensive form of Blut, I am hoping you know Blut, because I want you to use offensive form. I will be at the height of my defensive capabilities while you will be at the height of your offensive capabilities. Meaning, we should be able to make this a little bit more of a fair fight."
If Takeshima looked deep into her eye, he would see that thirst for power. That thirst for great things to come. She literally hungered and ached for the Vollstandig, which was one of the most powerful Quincy techniques currently known. After seeing that powerful Quincy use it during that fight she wanted that power. When he had his Vollstandig active it was almost as if he was transcending any human limits he had, going to something like a pseudo-god. The thought of that power was intoxicating. "Takeshima...if we ever want to make this work... We both need to achieve Vollstandig, without it. The Shinigami will wipe us from existence again. Vollstandig, is something we've always had, but very few obtained its power. The Shinigami will be taken unaware if we can achieve it. Their Bankai... well falter in comparison." She grinned, taking on a stance as her bow was still active on her right arm where her Sanrei glove was. Waiting for Takeshima to use blut and for what ever he had to say. Hopefully, he'd even take the first attack, she wanted him too. HAN: 14 REI: 15 HAK: 16 SEI: 15 BUK: 16 HOH: 16

Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima nodded his head while listening to her, raising his head slightly with his small smile. “I try to be logical.” He said with a slight chuckle after she said he was right. After that he closed his eyes, “We shouldn’t have any issue with most the shinigami we run into.” He told her honestly, “I don’t think a lot could stand up to me or you. I believe only the captain’s could subdue me, but I’m sure you’re on their level.” He told her before letting out a soft sigh, “Sucks knowing your limitations.” He told her with another small smirk before she began to tell him something.
“A new..” He questioned during her pause, which was dismissed when she said the word Blut. That was interesting, at least he thought so as he watched her. As he focused he could see the reiryoku running through her veins with his trained eyes. It was quite amazing, her veins pulsed with energy and he knew she was much stronger. “Blut..” He repeated after she said she hoped that he knew it. He looked down at his hands and then up to her, standing in the silence for a moment, peering into her eyes. He could see something deep in her eye and deep inside himself, he felt fear. It was a scary look. For a moment, Takeshima wondered if this was for prevention or revenge. Her words blended together as she spoke and he finally looked back down to his hands. “Vollstandig..” Takeshima whispered as he began to clench his fist. “You have to forgive me,” He spoke out loud now, “Blut does not come naturally to those who aren’t pure-blooded.” He told her as his eyes closed. “Of course you know that.” He began to focus, looking deep inside himself, “But it isn’t undoable.” Suddenly his reiatsu spiked as his skin flushed slightly from the increased blood flow. As his eyes opened he suddenly looked at peace.
“Let’s... Let’s begin.” He told her as he suddenly vanished. His hirenkyaku would carry him behind her quickly.
He prepared himself for her to swiftly spin and kick or punch at him and so he ducked low, to the point he was only about a two feet high, leaning back slightly with his black metallic looking bow in hand, with three arrows pulled back, and firing up. If she had moved back, they would began to follow after her, had she stood or attacks, his attacks would hit her abdomen, or lower back and stagger her. If he staggered her at close range he would use his skillful body control to push his upper body forward, and then fire straight, to drive his right shoulder into her. Right after this he would take the bow with his right hand on the bottom, and left still in the middle and swing it for her face to knock her back and do a good deal of damage, much less than his actual arrows would.

Takeshima spoke of the Shinigami they might encounter. Mentioning that he should be on the level of a Lieutenant, while she was more on the level of a Captain. Yes, their power level was quite different. She could hold her own not only in ranged combat but also hand to hand combat, where he lacked a bit. Takeshima told her, to forgive him, she knew the reason. The reason being Blut came harder to him because of him being a half-blood, while hers felt like flicking a switch. Her veins pulsed with reiastu, and her right arm jutted out from her body, the bow gently humming with power in her hand as her hand gripped the very center of it. She merely nodded when he mentioned the problem with Blut, and then his reiastu suddenly spiked. As he was brought to the height of his offensive capabilities. His veins pulsing throughout his body, and then he was gone.
She felt him, behind her, as she turned around quickly. For some reason he anticipated a kick as he bent low and drew three arrows, letting them go. She moved back, and three arrows came into contact with his arrows, a very small explosion of reiastu happening in mid air. Maybe Takeshima wasn't expecting what she could do. Did he expect her to run? To take the attack? No, why do this when she could meet arrow with arrow and make the contact stop in mid air? Three arrows flew from her bow, but they were aimed near him, not at him and hopefully he would notice this. Once they hit the ground near him they would explode, making a small explosion in a three foot diameter. Nothing to kill him, but perhaps catch him off guard. As soon as he dodged the attack or got caught in the explosion she'd fire three more arrows, and as the arrow would get close to him it would split into nine smaller arrows all heading towards him. She felt slower, but hopefully Takeshima would pick up on this fact as she wasn't moving around a whole lot, only taking a more moved away stance from where she originally was. Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima was slightly surprised when she jumped away and matched his arrows, but he focused closely. The surprise came from the fact that he had never honestly fought another quincy before. It was quite a curious thing honestly, someone who matched his ranged attacks move for move. As the next three arrows released he dug his feet into the ground, though his eyes could sense their first few inches, and he had figured out her entire trajectory, none hitting. It seemed she planned an indirect attack. “Alright!†He said as he charged, his plan clear inside his head, though as the arrows passed and hit the ground not too far behind him and exploded, he was slightly shaken, and moved to the side, laterally instead of straight at her, before he charged again and he saw the three other arrows flying at him he turned his right arm forward so as to slip between, though he was ready for them to curve in.
When the attack split he was slightly surprised, but didn’t stop, as suddenly his arm and the area around him was a shield, barrelling through the attack and letting the crystal greatshield take the attack while he sprinted towards her. His eyes staring through the crystal, glassy material that acted like a one way mirror, hiding his left hand. The bow he was holding had vanished while a small ball had appeared. He was ready to block any attack and about to unleash his own. He lifted his right arm a little, exposing his feet for a split second before he slammed the shield down, it smashing into fragments that scattered on the floor. He himself was flipping into the air with his bow drawn, firing four sets of two arrows that looked like they would miss, but began to curve in. They would come close, but hopefully she would notice they wouldn’t hit, but still focus on them as the crystal ball he held before rolled down near her feet, before it would detonate and knock her back, doing some damage and embedding crystals into her flesh.

Naomi watched him closely. He did see the fact that the arrows weren't going to hit him, but he didn't anticipate the fact that they were explosive arrows as they exploded around him, sending his body to the side instead of straight at her. Suddenly, a crystal shield was thrown up as the arrows made contact with it. Disappearing as he barreled through them. As he sprinted towards her, quickly covering the distance between them. She stood her ground a smile growing wider and wider on her face. The shield slammed down as shards were sent in all directions. As he flipped into th air and fired four sets of arrows. Holding up her bow she quickly met arrow with arrow as they collided in mid air.
Then her ears perked up as the ball came rolling at her feet. She managed to jump a few feet back at the last second, but she was still caught in the explosion as shards embedded themselves gently in her skin. As she skidded across the ground. As she stood there, eying Takeshima, little shards of reiastu fell from her skin. Little pin-pricks of blood leaking from her body but it wasn't anything overly serious. This defensive form was truly amazing, likely, if she didn't have it up it would of probably stayed in her flesh instead of just penetrating then falling out. "I see you have many tricks up your sleeves. I'm more of a traditional Quincy, and it seems, your an oddity." Her left hand, reached into the back of her shirt as she pulled out two ginto tubes and held them between her fingers. She tossed them both at Takeshima. Once they got into within exploding distance of him. "Explode!" She said, as they would explode at the same time, causing a bigger explosion since there was two rather than one. In the smoke of the explosion a dozen arrows would fly through the smoke, only one of them an explosive arrow that would explode on contact that was near the middle of the grouping. ”It seems you’re an oddity”
“I had to learn how to adapt.” He told her as he came down and landed on the ground. Suddenly she was throwing two ginto at him. That couldn’t be good. With two he had no idea what she was planning and so as they left her hand he was carried a few feet back on his hirenkyaku while he was speaking, and throwing a ginto from his pocket himself, “Tilt the goblet to the west,” and then once the ginto were almost all three parallel, though his slightly closer to him he shouted, ”Wolke!” which caused his ginto to explode into a cloud, which caught the ginto within it. Since the distance between them was just enough that the explosion would just barely affect them, more or less throwing heat both their way, he wondered if she would still use her attack.
If she didn’t he would begin to fire arrows at her, trying to attack, using his blut to power up his arrows to shoot through hers if she tried to match them, out to pierce her flesh.
If she did though, he would raise his left arm to shield his face while he sensed out, suddenly feeling the violent spike in energy from the barrage of arrows she fired at him. He quickly faced her and began to let loose his own barrage, matching each and every arrow, hitting the center one after it got a little too close, causing it to explode and push him back. It made his skin a little flustered but he mostly felt pressure pushing him back from it, not enough to truly damage him.

She felt a blast of hit, and little else from her failed attack. He had thrown his own ginto tubes and her's has been lost in its explosion. As she continued to fire arrows through the smoke, as he started to fire arrows of his own. There arrows continued to match one another, but she soon realized his arrows were starting to pierce through hers, so two of her arrows would have to be met with one of his. How odd, the different forms of Blut were. It even powered his arrows allowing them to pierce through hers. The explosive arrow she had fired, he had made a mistake of firing at it a little too late. Although it did nothing but push him back and perhaps he even got a tinge of burn from it. Their barrages stopped as she deactivated her bow. She flashed over to a wall and pressed a button, the wall slid in, then up.
Revealing an small arsenal of weapons. She grabbed a seele schendier, and it instantly came to life in her hand. She held the sword with two hands. As she disappeared again, reappearing a dozen or more feet from Takeshima. Aiming the sword at him. "You can continue to use your bow if you wish." She said, as she suddenly flashed, her speed reduced due to her Blut usage, but she still had a lot of power behind her attacks. Appearing in front of him, she swung her bow at his midsection with all her strength behind it. Knowing, if for some reason he chose not to block it, she could stop herself from cleaving through his midsection, but if anything she would leave a wicked cut on his side.

Takeshima watched closely as she moved to the wall and began going through her items. He nodded his head as she spoke, and began to relax a little bit. “Alright.” He said. He would continue to use his own tools, to which he had grown accustomed to. She had her toys, and he had his. After that she had her weapon and was moving to him. He could spot her a little easier, and he began to turn. There she was swinging as he was moving his hand out and was jumping. A block of crystal was held by a handle, in his hand, before it widened out, and went down to his foot. She hit it, and damned if she wasn’t strong. She sent Takeshima flying back through the air.
Takeshima flipped quickly, releasing the shield he had made out of crystal and as he came close to the wall he was suddenly cushioned by his hirenkyaku. The shield disintegrated as it fell to the ground. In Takeshima’s hand was something else now, a large shuriken made out of crystal that he launched at Naomi, a second or two after it was flying he had lifted his bow, and was firing shots in a straight line at her, at a slower speed than before.

Her seele schendier suddenly hit a solid shield of crystal. She had put a lot of force behind it, as he was sent flying through the air. A little shock of surprise went through her eyes, but it quickly disappeared, as he cushioned himself with a hirenkyaku. The shield disintegrated, now there was something different. A shuriken? The shuriken was thrown she dodged it within millimeters, as it ripped through the cloth of her right shoulder. She quickly looked back to the attacker, as she caught one arrow on the sword and she was just too slowed down by the form to catch the second one as it dug into her stomach. Marking another hole in her fabric, and a nasty mark underneath. She was bleeding, but it was superficial wounds nothing that could cause her to die. She caught a third and a forth arrows on her sword as she approached him slowly as he fired off arrows in a realtively straight line at him.
She was slowly approaching him, blocking arrows with her sword, a few would pass and cause little cuts to line her clothes. When she finally got within swinging range of Takeshima she brought her sword back to the left as she swung at him again. At the last moment she teleported, as she came instead from the right rather than the left. Her force wasn't all behind it like her last attack. She was also feeling a little sluggish, and the strength of Takeshima's arrows were diminishing, cause she could feel them diminish as she blocked them with her blade. Takeshima Kunou - 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima’s eyes were focused as the shuriken passed millimeters away from Naomi. He grit his teeth watching. “Eh… eh…” He couldn’t do it, make it explode with such closeness to her. He let out a sigh and just fired at her, keeping a steady but not rapid stream of arrows that Naomi was working to defend against.
She was moving towards him and he was focused on making her fight every inch that she continued. But she prevailed in getting close. He had an arrow pulled back and the next seconds felt like hours. She swung and he was pulling up and away. She grazed him, beneath his ribs, enough to draw blood, but not enough to be worried. His tight shirt separated and opened revealing skin and the shallow cut. Naomi wouldn’t notice where Shima’s eyes were, with his arms blocking the way. He was looking above, spying on her spirit ribbon, and as it swayed ever so gently, he knew what was about to happen. As she shifted on her hirenkyaku he turned his body facing her. There was the sound of glass crashing into glass as his arrow crystallized. He fired it, and it flew into her swing, which would have it hitting the middle of her sword with enough force to knock it back a little. If only he would’ve managed to hit the tip, he could’ve knocked it far back, possibly out of her hands, but still, if he had the shot perfect, he’d have enough time.
Naomi was as quick as him, but hopefully, she was staggered. Takeshima’s hand flashed, and an arrow would fly out of his bow and pass by her ear if he had fired in time. It was fired to send a message, which if it managed to pass between the fibers of her hair and her ear, she would know, a few more inches would’ve been her good eye, even less than that would have simply been her skull to end the fight.
