[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]There's no need to change the past. Because of the past, we are who we are now. Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣ ”Go away!” Gray cried back at the scary blonde that was following him. She was still chasing him around Rome. Hours ago, they had run into two other scary chicks. Thankfully, his giant penis shocked them both so much that they couldn’t do anything. Of course, he was still naked, but there wasn’t much he could do about that. He didn’t know where he had thrown his clothes, and even if he did, there would be no going back to get them. It wasn’t as if Gray could steal any, either. He had only gotten one break from running when he managed to lose Ariella in a forest. But as soon as he poked his head out, she was on him again. Damn that Aoi… If only he didn’t have that habit, he wouldn’t be in this mess.
Soon enough, Gray found himself in a populated area that was dotted with white, Roman-looking buildings. After hearing shocked and horrified screams that he was definitely the cause of, he ducked into an alley and tried to keep out of sight while he looked for another place to hide. It was hard when he knew that the Shinigami was right on his tail. Somehow, he would have to try and find a way to hide somewhere without her seeing where he went. At the very least, there seemed to be a lot of Reiatsu sources in this town, which would make it harder for her to track him. Normally, Gray would have wondered about that, but he didn’t care at the moment. It benefitted him.
There was a rather large building up ahead. For whatever reason, a door was hanging open. Great! It was probably a public venture of some sort; he could run in there and escape in the confusion. Maybe public nudity did come in handy sometimes…
Stopping briefly to take a quick look around for his pursuer, Gray didn’t see her anywhere. Taking this for a good sign, he made a break for it, streaking across the road and flying through the doors of the building. Only a couple steps in, he stopped, looking around. ”Wait a minute…” This wasn’t right. there weren’t as many people around as he would have thought there to be. Not to mention, the pressure was just ridiculous. He could already feel the heavy, almost choking feeling. And something about it was familiar. Right in the centre of the room were the two scary chicks from before. Were they fighting? Well, who cared? Gray wasn’t sticking around.
Nope. Gray took a step backward, waving at whoever might have been looking at him. ”S-sorry to interrupt.” He needed to get away from here before the pressure rendered him unable to. Not waiting for their reaction, he turned on his heel and shot back out the door, only to collide with something and stumble backwards. Seeing a flash of yellow, Gray knew he should have taken his chances with the people inside.◣ | ◣TAGGED: idec ◣WORDS: 511 ◣NOTES: xxx

Words: 614 Notes: meow Cake And the science gets done And you make a neat gun Ariella had lost trace of her little project a while ago. She had almost given up all hope. Just when that was about to happen though, she caught sight of the fullbringer. all of her hopes and dreams were restored. One could tell that from the mind blowing smile that was completely absent from her face, the way her dull eyes really didn't glisten with joy.She was ecstatic, or something like that... maybe. She definitely knew what she was going to be spending the next few hours doing though. She resumed her chase of the man, not really caring that he spotted her and ran faster in accordance to such a fact. Ariella just ran faster too. He had been running all day long. surely he was getting tired. Ariella had good stamina. all she had to do was last. The only thing that could get in her way was getting killed. That could have happened earlier, though. The chances of meeting those same means again were very slim. she knew that because of science. Science never failed her.. at least not usually.
She lost Gray a few more times, off an on. She was able to keep good track of him though, never straying too far behind him. She had just lost him recently, but she caught glimpses of him up ahead. He was heading toward some building. She didn't have a good feeling about the place. she could sense all kinds of power there. She decided that wasn't as big of an issue as risking losing the clothes barren man again. She likely wouldn't be able to find him again if she didn't go in right after him. She took to the air to by pass weaving through the crowds. It was then that she noticed a hole in the roof that Gray was heading toward. that gave her a pretty good idea. she continued on through the air, landing on the roof.
Ariella peeked in through the hole, seeing a bunch of people down there. she didn't care enough to pay attention to what they were doing. All she knew was that she recognized two of them pretty well. Science hadn't kept up its end of the deal this time. those were the exact same sources of danger from before. Well, didn't gray just have a talent for dragging her into dangerous situations? Next thing she knew he was going to be dragging her to that quincy guy from before. As stated, she couldn't give up now. From her vest she pulled out metal wire, wire that was supposed to be used for sewing clothes to skin for research. She had another purpose for it.
She secured it to a part of the roof before flinging herself right through the hole in the roof. She had wanted to just catch Gray and pull him back up. Her timing was a bit off though. Now she was just swinging around the room, no real control of where she was going, Gray wasn't too far from her. At least he had stopped though. Actually he turned around a moment later, not caring to look where he was going. Ariella had him now. He was heading right for her arms. She quickly grabbed him, not even giving him time to struggle before she gave a push of the ground to send them up through the hole in the roof. "Don't try to escape" She warned him, not banking on him actually following her order. The important part was they were getting out of there, and for the time being she had him in her grasp, and she was getting away with the fullbringer.

Let Me tell you how i want it
Had people begun to think that the most lovable sin of all was about to miss this whole ordeal? How mistaken they were. Ruko was busy when the word went out that they were going to gang bang the Vatican for some reason. Ruko guessed it was simply because they could. That mixed with the fact that Leto wanted to and they usually went along with whatever that woman wanted. She was about as close to a leader as the Sins got. Ruko just accepted that fact, and after a good time with some one he wasn't sure was completely legal, and then getting a drink, and then stopping to get a really cute dress (which was really a shirt, but that was just a small detail), he had come right to the Vatican to join the party. That was why he had come. He just didn't stick to that very well.
"You fuckers started without... me" his voice trailed off as he looked around the large room, at the different fights that had started, and at some new guests. When he came in through the doors, he spotted some one he hadn't seen in a long time. That was the ice boy he had met in Japan a while back. He hadn't connected to Ruko very well, and Ruko had pretty much hated his guts for it. Meeting him again though, in this kind of situation where that boy just shouldn't have been, must have been fate, though. Ruko could never argue with what fate brought him. Fate even handed the boy to him completely naked. that was just asking for Ruko to take him... in more than one way if you caught his drift.
Sure Leto wouldn't be happy with him. Ruko didn't really care about that though. What was she going to do? Kill him. that would just be entirely counter productive to everything, including Ruko's true love who was currently being carried away by some blonde chick who needed to fuck off. Ruko's mind was made up, and there wasn't a lot that could have been done to change that. Maybe if Natas stripped down naked and flung himself at Ruko things would be different. Right now though, Ruko had a big "Fuck you bitches" ready for his fellow Sins. "Well.. you guys have fun with that!" Ruko shot a smile to the others, giving each Sin a wave, blowing Natas a kiss since he was special. Then like that he launched himself out of the room via the hole in the roof. He had a love to chase down!

How long was she going to have to wait before this human attacked her? At current, the woman was communicating with one of the other humans in the room. It was the only human other than the leader herself who hadn't attacked yet. It looked as if she would be a great match for Vilof. If either of them ever got around to attacking, that was.
Though the Sin appeared to be staring off into space, her visage still gave the impression that she was staring right through the human that was supposed to be her opponent. This whole affair had been planned for her, right? So why wasn't she getting any attention? Absently, the Sin materialized one of her Vectors. The abnormally long, semi-transparent arm snaked down to the ground a few feet away from Leto, leaving deep gouges in the floor. This action was accompanied by a disturbing scraping sound.
As Leto was busy tearing apart the floor, the human's Reiatsu finally moved. Surprisingly enough, said human was right in front of the Sin after that, swinging a suspiciously shiny fist towards her. Without even focusing her eyes, Pride allowed two more of her Vectors to form right in front of her, one overlapping the other for good measure. By moving so fast, the woman had inspired Leto to be a little more cautious than usual. Even if she had been spaced out to begin with, the human's speed had surprised the Sin just a little. It wasn't something she liked, but she could deal with it. That glimpse had given her enough information. While fast, this woman was still slower than Pride. However, it seemed as if she had uncanny physical prowess as well. Leto had required, not one, but two Vectors to block her punch. She had felt the force that rang through them, and knew that she would have been in trouble if she had used only one. She had never experienced this before. And yet, the Sin wasn't offended, or even angered by this.
What is this... Leto had took to the air in a speedy backwards jump, blurring out temporarily. And the opponent was swinging a new weapon around with apparent skill. This human... no, that's not a human. It stands a chance of wounding me, maybe even... And for the first time in centuries, the Sin wore the slightest of smiles. Not a sneer or a cocky smirk. She was actually excited for what was to come. She finally got to test her strength for real, and at the end of it all, kill something that was actually worth her time.
Even after what had transpired, Leto couldn't see herself losing this. What she lacked in physical strength, she more than made up for in raw power. Pride held the power of creation; she could do things that these humans couldn't even comprehend. On top of that, she still had her Vectors, and while there was a very real chance of the Sin losing them at some point in this battle, they were a near-ultimate form of defense. As long as Pride didn't make any crucial mistakes, they would serve their purpose. So, with her face having returned to its usual expressionless state, Leto raised her right hand skyward. With it, several jagged pieces of earth hurled themselves at the woman from below her feet. They shot to a grand total of ten feet tall, jutting out in all directions in a warped mockery of a tower. This left the human with two options; be impaled on the spikes, or move into the air with the Sin. Counting on the second option, Leto then brought her right hand down and quickly snapped her fingers while whipping each hand downwards. She repeated this two times, causing four fair-sized explosions in the air, peppering the already-ruined building with threads of black and gold flame. Not only would this negatively effect the others in the room, but Leto's opponent was sure to get caught up in it somehow, unless she had found a way to leave the building. But that would be running away; tantamount to admitting defeat.
Oddly enough, Leto found herself hoping that the human had dodged the fatal centers of the blasts, as well as the spikes. Maybe she had been aiming to kill, but that was the sort of attack that decimated weaklings. She wasn't fighting a weakling right now, was she?
Of course, Leto had put herself at risk as well. Now there was a smokescreen hiding the human from view. She could sense her out, but it was always better to be able to see who you were fighting. So the Sin had all four of her Vectors out, circling her form protectively should she fall prey to a sneak attack. Surely, humans were not below such methods.

Post by Ania Charis on Oct 23, 2013 19:02:15 GMT -5
Ania Charis Words: 863 Notes:-- Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Ania hadn't gotten her blade too close to the Sin. That was unfortunate, but it was something she easily accepted. She wasn't going to be like the regular masses of togabito that Ania could cut down with barely more than a glance. How could she be upset when she got that slight hint of surprise, or something like it from the other female? Pride couldn't look down on her as much now, could she? Ania was satisfied with that fact alone. She got the Sin on the run. She was going to look at it that way at least. Ania was a real threat, and as such Pride couldn't mess around. It would be nice if she would. Ania's job would get lot easier if Pride made some grave error due tot he fact that she was what she was. Pride was a sin for a reason after all.
Ania wasn't about to let up just because of a boost of her confidence. It didn't seem like Pride was about to give up due to her new assessment of Ania. In fact, Ania was pretty sure that look on her face was something pretty far from defeat or a trace of being upset. She seemed pretty pleased with herself or her situation. She still had that disgusting on her face too. Ania hated being looked at that way. Luckily for her, she found a reason to take her eyes off of that smug look that she was ready to tear from the woman's skull. Pride was on the attack now, and Ania already knew she couldn't underestimate her opponent. Jagged stone came shooting from the ground, dead set on piercing their way into Ania. She hardly had the intentions of standing there and taking it though. It was true she could have just jumped into the air. The rocks could only get so high. Leaping out of the way just wasn't flashy enough for the wake up call Ania was instilling right now. Instead she drew back Alcestis which was still blazing with electricity. She quickly brought the weapon around, turning full circle, slicing and crushing the rocking that were jutting out toward her.
She was met with the force of the explosions from above though, the pressure cause her to be shaken and pushed forward. She hit one of the rocks. Luckily for her she had given it a rather clean cut, so no sharp edge was there to stab into her. She was just met with the blunt force. It wasn't great, but it was better than being run through by a dirty rock. Straightening up, she took a moment to get past the pain in her gut. Looking around it seemed like she had the time for such a thing. There was smoke everywhere. It was hard to see through it for her, so she doubted the Sin would be seeing much better from where she was up in the air. That left her with an idea though. The electricity running through Alcestis wasn't going to last much longer. She'd have to make use of it pretty fast, and she knew the perfect way to do it.
Placing her hand on the very stone she had been thrown into, Ania pulled herself up onto it, staying down in a crouching position. She glanced around, making notes of the places where she could see through the smoke. With those bits of details she put together where she had last seen the Sin floating around. The chances of Pride moving were slim unless some one interfered. That was unlikely too though. Doing such would likely only get them killed by both Pride and Ania herself. Ania's eyesight narrowed down on the place she believed Pride to be. It was just in time too. All that smoke was starting to escape from the hole the Sin had left in the roof.
With a push off the stone, Ania shot herself into the air in that direction, swinging Alcestis out in front of her. Before she had been stopped by something she couldn't exactly see, and this time the chances of that same thing happening was high. That was why she was using her power. If there was one thing she put pride in it was the strength of Alcestis. Perhaps it could cut through whatever had been protecting the Sin if the sigil met that force. Even still, if Alcestis just wasn't enough, there was more that she could do. Before her electric power ran out, she released it from the blade all together, giving a slight push in the direction of the Sin as a guide of where it should go. At the very least, Pride would be hit with the overwhelming electric power. If it all worked out for Ania though, not only would her sigil be slicing into the demon but then it would have to suffer all of that added attack. This of course left her close to the Sin again, only Alcestis' five foot diameter separating them or even less for one of those tendrils she wasn't even aware of.

| [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #333333;] ■ The human was taking an unusually long time to come out of the smoke cloud. Leto could still feel her Reiatsu, however, and it hadn't weakened. She wasn't dead; not even close. Likely, she was concocting some scheme while the smokescreen allowed her the time to do so. But that was okay. The Sin would wait. The girl had to come out at some point, and when she did, she would only be met with the same treatment. Perhaps Pride wasn't giving off the most serious vibe, but she was the embodiment of the Sin, and before that, a God. She would not lose. It was impossible.
Supposing that she could prepare something special for the human while she was waiting, Leto waved her left hand to the side. As if in tune with that motion, six fine points of golden light materialized to the Sin's left, slightly above her position. These threads of Reiryoku soon formed into an assortment of golden bladed weapons. She repeated this process with her right, and soon, there were a dozen gleaming blades in the air around Leto, pointing downwards on a slight tilt.
Seconds later, the opponent had chosen the time to reveal herself, jumping into the air. As expected, she was coming in for another melee strike. Leto would have been glad to meet her head-on, if not for the suspicious static she saw coating the blade. She knew about lightning. It traveled. It wasn't nice to get hit with. Painful. She would lose the use of her Vectors if she was hit by it, and she couldn't block the electricity itself with something that was attached to her. Perhaps a battle of brute strength wouldn't be possible this time around. No matter, the Sin was more than happy to show the girl just how outclassed she was in terms of raw power. It would have come down to that anyway, now that Leto thought of it.
Still looking down her nose at the human, Leto willed four of her blades - two from each side - to shoot down in front of her. They weaved together, forming a makeshift shield just in front of her as the human swung her electrified weapon. A metallic clanging sound rang through the air, but Pride's blades held strong. She didn't notice, however, that a couple of the blades had started to melt, slowly giving away to the heat of the human's power.
Leto had taken a couple quick steps back, letting power build up in her chest, when the lightning suddenly bypassed her blades and sprang at her. Amber eyes widening fractionally, the Sin let out a forced breath that she would have hoped to hold in longer. With it, a jet of black, flame-esque Reiryoku flew from Leto's mouth, clashing with the assailing spark that had come within mere feet of Pride. Oddly, her attack didn't overwhelm the lightning, instead exploding against it and throwing up yet another cloud of smoke.
Leto's Vectors dematerialized for a split second as she was battered by a slight concussive force. Luckily, the Sin had instinctively spiked her Reiatsu in an effort to save her greatest defense before she was done any damage. It coated her being and allowed her to easily withstand the blast.
Leto knew not how the human would deal with the explosion, not to mention her abrupt ad staggering Reiatsu flare, but she wasn't going to wait around for her to gather her bearings this time. Go, my blades. The four blades in front of the girl pulled apart quickly and zoomed towards her each from a different direction, seeking out her neck. Knowing that this wouldn't be enough to end it, Leto threw her right hand forward, motioning for the remaining eight of her blades to fly for the human point-first like brilliant projectiles.
Finished with her assault, Leto let seven of the blades drop to the ground, if they were able to. If she needed them again, she could call them. The last one, a golden spear that was as long as the Sin was tall, flew back to its creator, alighting in her hand. As the smoke began to fade away, Leto waited to see what had become of her opponent, her spear poised to strike on a moment's notice.

Broken and WEARY, Unable to find MyWay | [atrb=width,320] Vilof continued to be absent minded, even as Leto stared him down. He simply returned the look of one without any soul in their eyes, eyes that are dead and apathetic. He yawned once, his gaze drifting between Leto, and the two humans. He felt the tension between the blue-haired girl and Pride, assuming that they had already chose their opponent. He then looked at the blonde haired human, cocking his head slightly as she paid him no attention what-so-ever. His excitement began to rise slightly, hoping that they would just both go after Leto and he'd save himself from having to deal with her, or any battle.
At least, he dreamed of this ideal situation. But, his thoughts were cut short slightly as some other, black haired human entered the room. Naked. He couldn't help but stare the boy down, even when he stopped to apologize for intruding. His gaze was then taken to the blonde haired woman capture the naked man. Even with all of this excitement, there was very little expression on the Sin's face. That is, until Rune walked in. A small smile appeared on his face, at least a smile for Sloth. He waved slightly, wanting to ask Rune if she wanted to take a nap with him after this entire thing. He was always the best cuddlier. He opened his mouth, but his slow reaction time made it to where he couldn't even make a noise before Lust was gone. His face turned into one of a frown.
He continued to stare at where Rune previously stood, a frown set on his face. He seem to notice the fighting that happened behind him, or at least he didn't show any signs of knowing. At least until something hit him in the chest and sent him backwards, followed by one more shot causing him to double over and be pushed back even more. Luckily, the third shot missed due to his body naturally reacting towards the pain and collapsing his body. He held his bent over position for a moment longer, before looking up towards the female quincy. His eyes were still dead, however with a bit more life in them from just a minute ago. "Oww.." He said slowly, almost in a whiny way.
After he took his recovery moment, Vilof stood to his full height and unsheathed his blade, holding the zweihander with both of his hands, holding it close to his body. A moment later he took off towards the girl, reaching near his maximum speed as he let his zweihander trail behind him, the tip slicing into the ground as he built up momentum. Once close enough to the female, he effortlessly swung the blade upwards, digging up concrete as he swung full force across Surelia's torso. "How...rude" He commented towards her rather sneaky attack, Vilof's dislike for such tactics coming through in his slow moving voice. He simply didn't like being snuck up upon, especially when he's day dreaming of sleeping.

Surǽlia could read the Sin’s movement’s with ease, although, the sudden entry and quick disappearance of the Fullbringer, Shinigami, and another Sin pulled her focus for a millisecond, allowing Sloth to rather easily close the gap between them. The Sin was clumsy though, dragging his large sword along the ground, tearing up the concrete as he moved. There was certainly quite a bit of strength and power behind his attack, but nothing that Surǽlia couldn’t dodge with ease. The earlier distraction, however, denied her perfect opportunity and her dodge came a second too late. The tip of the Sin’s blade sliced through her jacket, tearing it from her body with astounding force. The momentum and tug of the jacket being yanked from her form altered her movement in a way that was difficult to recover from, but a butterfly side flip allowed her to regain her footing.
Shit. More than anything, she was upset with herself that she got distracted. It was a shameful thing for a warrior to let petty things keep them from their battle. If she hadn’t been who she was, she’d likely have been killed with that one blow. She relied on her ability to dodge, more than anything so it was vital to her existence that she pay full attention to her target. She didn’t have time to beat herself up, though. Surǽlia vanished into the air, using her hirenkyaku to carry her away from the Sin. When she reappeared on the other side of the room at the Sin’s flank, she launched another burst of arrows Again, two aimed for the chest and the third for the head, except this burst held a fourth arrow aimed for the Sin’s knee.
She would not underestimate her opponent, nor would she let him underestimate her. She knew her only weakness and intended to never let him exploit it. She’d end this without even a single scratch on her. Now her focus was completely drawn towards Sloth, that lazy bastard, and he would be made to regret the day he emerged from the pits of hell to face her in battle; as would Pride, when the time came to end this war.

Ania Charis Words: 801 Notes:-- Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Ania was met with that near invisible force again, stopping her before she could get to the Sin. Even with all of her power surging through her weapon, she couldn't seem to get past them. While she would have liked to cut the Sin in half, she settled for relying on the blast of electricity to do its job. Even then the cocky beast had something ready there to block it. She narrowed her eyes, watching as her attack met its resistance. Of course as she paid attention, she also noted that it began to over power the Sin's constructs. A small smile twisted up at her lips, and finally her blast broke past the woman's defense. It was just a few moments away from turning to Ania's favor. It had been at least.
Suddenly she felt a new heat, looking just past her own attack. Out from behind it she saw the straying flames, knowing full well what that that meant. Her eyes widened, and in an instant she tucked herself together, crossing her arms over her torso, legs coming up to cover those as well. She didn't have the time to charge up Alcestis' defense, only able to keep her hold on the weapon. A second later, she was being thrown back into the smoke cloud she had emerged from, the heat from the blast sweeping by her, burning through her clothes in some areas. Other areas wear she had nothing left her skin a bright red as it began to burn, the skin drying up and becoming uncomfortable.
As she continued in her fall, Ania spotted the ground just a few feet down. With haste she spun Alcestis around, holding it out toward the ground. She moved her body so she was at its center, her hands gripping its blade as her feet rested inside as well, leaving her perfectly in its center. The outside of the weapon came down first, and it began to spin around like a falling coin, Ania keeping her control over it even in the performance-like position she was in inside of it. After a moment she released her legs from within the sigil by kicking them back, throwing herself back up into the air a couple of feet with the flipping motion it created. Loosening the grip of her hands at the same time. Alcestis spun in her grip until her hands met its actual handles. In the next moment she had her feet on the ground, suspending the ring blade around her. She was thrown off slightly by the increase in power the crashed down in the room, trapped there despite the holes... everywhere. She slid slightly, her knees starting to buckle. It passed nearly as quickly as it came though, and Ania was able to regroup herself, recatching her footing and standing strong.
It was just in time too. She spotted a blade coming from her right. The next second she saw one from a little bit further right, nearly behind her. She didn't need to see anymore before getting into action. Alcestis had a bright glow for a moment, and then it shot out a dome like shape of energy to meet with the blades. It had enough power to stop them and stay up. It even continued to grow out, pushing away the smoke that had started filling up the room. She hadn't even known they were coming, but as her defensive wall continued to grow out, it met with more of those blades that the Sin had created, again stopping them in their tracks. That was all it could do though. Ania hadn't put in enough energy for it to go beyond thirty feet. It dissipated, its force still pushing the clouds of smoke some.
"What's the matter Pride? Afraid of a little pain? Scared of a little human? You don't seem to want me to get too close" She called out into the smoke. She swung her sigil over her head, switching its grip to a single hand. She stood there for a moment, looking around. The power that the Sin released still had the entire hall filled with traces of her. Ania couldn't exactly pinpoint where the blonde was anymore, though she wasn't going to admit to that fact. She was going to act like she was waiting for the Sin, thinking maybe her provoking words would work better this time now that she had actually proven herself, even accused the Sin of being a coward. If nothing else she was buying time for the smoke to clear out, as well as buying herself some time to regroup and form some kind of plan. She couldn't go all out, not in this place, not without destroying the entire Vatican at least.

| [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #333333;] ■ Leto raised an eyebrow when she heard the human calling out from within the smoke. Did she mean to insinuate that the Sin was supposed to let her land her blows? If she didn't, she was a coward? Didn't that defeat the purpose of testing one's skills? Pride wasn't exactly into that sort of thing, in any case. If this human was too slow to catch her, that was her fault. Petty insults were not to cause Leto to lose her cool. Still, this girl sought to insult a God; she would pay.
"Don't get cocky, human. You're lucky that I even allow you to live in my presence!" Leto called, her words -calm and confident as ever - reverberating throughout the decimated cathedral. For a split second, she considering using her true form. She knew that she could easily kill all of the humans in the area if she did so. But now wasn't the time. If she ended it so quickly, wouldn't it be a little boring? If she wanted to instill despair, she had to be patient. I guess I'll stay my hand for now... Leto thought, gazing downwards in an effort to see her opponent through the smoke. She wasn't in a hurry, knowing that the human would come to her eventually.
Still with her spear poised to strike, Leto let more of her Reiryoku flow out, coating her body in golden luminescence. This light was potent enough to burn anything that got within two feet of her, and if one stared for too long, they could find themselves blinded.
"Cease your hiding, coward!" she demanded, raising her voice in the slightest as she threw the human's insult back at her. She was ready to fight the human in close combat. She seemed to want it so badly, so she was going to get it, at a price. So Leto waited for the human to answer her call, still glowering into the smoke.

Ania Charis Words: 868 Notes:-- Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Leto replied to her, and Ania looked in that direction. She couldn't see much with all the smoke, but she got a general silhouette of the sin for a brief moment. She didn't take her eyes off of that spot, knowing Pride wouldn't move an inch from it until Ania made a move to attack her. She reached her hand up to her arm cuff, pressing a small button there. It wasn't her normal cuff. This one had a device that would send out a signal to other guardians that were waiting for her order. Any second now the plan Ania had prepared would be put into effect. She counted down the seconds in her head, readying herself as best as she could. There wasn't going to be a second chance at any of this.
Just then there was a loud crashing noise, and something came falling through the roof, making another large hole there to mimic the one the Sin had made earlier. It only stirred up more dust and smoke, making it hard to see what had fallen. Ania knew though. When the contraption hit the ground, she was right in place for it, holding her arms out to catch the barrels of the weapon she thought up herself. Behind her two large blocks of steel crashed down, causing even more debris to fly around. She slid the barrels out, feeling the metal slide through her hands until her hands were met with the triggers of the weapon. The barrels were a total of ten feet in length, a size that she shouldn't have been able to hold up with such easy. they were attached to those two crates that were filled with her very special ammunition. Ania could only smile. This weapon felt even better than she expected.
She took a moment, enjoying the feel, but after that it was time to get down to business. She pressed her fingers to the triggers of both barrels and with minimum push they were both firing out six foot, barbed blades toward the Sin. Each of these had wires attached to them made up of steel. These wires hooked onto the ends of the barrels as they flew out. If those blades pierced anything it was going to be able to be held there by Ania. Even if she couldn't see clearly, Ania still had good enough aim to hit the spot where she had last seen the Sin. She just had to trust that gut instinct that told her Pride wasn't going to change personalities suddenly and actually launch an attack or move.
As her special made machine gun fired of round after round, Ania dug her feet into the ground, preparing herself for the fight that was sure to come shortly. After the last shot of the fifty blades was fired, Ania moved to grip the wires themselves, knowing the better grip she had the more successful this would be. One mess up and her plans would be foiled. She had to secure Pride before anything else went into effect. She believed in her strength to keep the sin at bay long enough. She just wasn't sure what to expect. With haste she pressed a button on the barrel of the gun, kicking it with her foot. It would send a second signal to those waiting guardians. What was left of the ceiling began to open up with panels, all revealing similar canon like shapes. The two long walls also opened up in this way, the barrels taking aim on the Sin. The entire room had become a weapon under Ania's orders.
As the secondary guns locked on target, Ania made quick work of securing some of the lines that would hopefully already be attached to the Sin. she slammed two of them down into the floor beside her, tossing two more the the clear walls to secure her there. quickly she launched herself across the room, taking the remaining wires with her, stabbing them into the ground at different locations until she hand only four left in her own grip. spreading them out this way would put tension on the Sin, making it difficult, if not impossible for her to move even an inch. By the time she was done, the walls and ceiling were ready and in no more than a few seconds they were firing off more rounds at the Sin. They weren't nearly as large, only six inches in length, but they were greater in number, roughly about one-hundred and fifty in total, all hell bent on locking the Sin where she was standing. Ania could only watch with her own pride as it all happened. she was sure it would work perfectly. She would capture the one thing that stood in her way the most. Maybe she had even gotten so lucky as hitting the other sin that had shown up. Surǽlia would hopefully be smart and fast enough to get out of the way of the massive attack. All that was left was to wait for all of the smoke and dust to clear out and reveal the sight she had been waiting for.

| [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #333333;] ■Instead of an answer or even an attack from the human, Leto only heard a crashing noise from above, and another as whatever had fallen hit the ground below. "Hmm?" She couldn't see what had been dropped because of the smoke filling the air, but she could only guess that it held some purpose. Was the human trying some new weapon to try and fight with? That was fine. She could try whatever she wanted; she still had no chance.
Time's running out, human," Leto thought irritably as she waited for something to happen. If the girl didn't make a move soon enough, the Sin would be inclined to level the place, and her precious army with it. Leto was anything but patient when it came to fighting. She had come to make a point. She couldn't exactly make that point if the humans were just going to hide. Well, she could, but it wouldn't be very entertaining...
Leto was starting to get to the point where she was ready to use her True Form. One Gehenna Core was all it would take to wipe these cowardly humans away.
But then she heard a peculiar sound. Sort of metallic. Something was whistling through the air. A ranged attack? A blade pierced the smoke suddenly, and Leto flicked her spear up to knock it away, her annoyed expression becoming more apparent as the wire trailing from the blade wrapped around her weapon. She might have scoffed at the meager effort if not for the fact that the metallic sound was still present. There was more to come. More wires wrapped around Leto's spear and she threw it to the side before barely jumping out of the way of several more. The sheer volume of the projectiles cleared the smoke away and Leto saw that there was an overwhelming amount still coming. Unless she left the building - which would be a retreat - she could not avoid them all. But she didn't need to avoid them. They were human weapons and she had Comet activated. They could not touch her.
So Leto just stood there with her arms crossed as several of the blades converged on her, disintegrating before they could make contact. But she had, in her arrogance, underestimated the size of the attack. Just as several blades were burned to nothing, more came to fill their places, and soon, the yellow light was overwhelmed. Leto blinked in surprise as a few blades pierced her right shoulder, left leg, and torso, but her expression quickly went back to normal. She raised her Reiatsu considerably, coating her body with in once again. This coupled with the burning golden light was enough to make sure she would not sustain anymore injuries. Perhaps she had been shortsighted in not doing this before, but it didn't matter. Those injuries didn't matter. They wouldn't kill her, in fact, they barely even hurt. It was unfortunate that she wouldn't be able to use her Vectors for a while, but she could do without them.
Now that Leto was covered in her own Reiatsu, she could not be cut by the blades that flew at her. A mere human weapon was not enough to break her defense. However, this didn't stop the wires from wrapping around her faster than Comet's light could burn them away. Leto only rolled her eyes as if being tied up was only a minor inconvenience for her. The wires would be burned eventually, and even if she was approached before then, she didn't need to move to utterly decimate the human. In fact, this was a great way to make a complete and utter mockery of the girl. She would kill her without even lifting a finger. With this in mind, Leto didn't even resist the wires at all. She let them wrap around her, not even flinching when more fired from the walls and ceiling. Even when they tightened, the Sin only gazed at the human with a smug expression.
After a while, the wires stopped firing. Leto couldn't move even an inch, but she was fine with it. She supposed that this was some elaborate scheme to capture her. Maybe they thought an unmoving God was easier to kill, or something. Little did they know, they couldn't actually kill her. By wrapping the Sin in tons of steel, they had protected her only weak spot. Even if they could get close and managed to slash her throat or even behead her, she wouldn't die. She'd come back a couple days later. There was nothing they could do to save themselves now.
Leto's oppressive Reiatsu filled the entire building. It wasn't enough to drop anyone, but that wasn't its intention. It was claiming the area; making it her own. Static filled the air and Leto's blades all dissolved into black particles. Anyone that was paying attention would see that the environment was starting to change. Even the sky outside had turned orange, allowing a fiery light to shine down through the hole in the roof. As all of this was happening, a curious blackness started to take over the whites of Leto's eyes, which had turned a dark crimson colour.
"Perish."

Ania Charis Words: 624 Notes:Can skip Vilof if needed Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground When all of the debris cleared out, Ania laid eyes on the sight that awaited her. She wasn't able to help her smile now. The Sin was immobilized by the attack Ania had put together. A number of blades had missed, some gone completely. Even still, enough had struck to keep Pride exactly where she was, rendering her body completely useless. Ania took that moment to at least enjoy the sight while she could. It wasn't going to just stay that way after all.
The Sin didn't need her body to attack. Ania knew that much. As expected, the woman let her energy pour out. She braced herself for it, releasing her own to fight against it. She hadn't expected the transformation the Sin was starting to undergo though. The Sin never could just do what she wanted it seemed. As more pressure rained down, Ania released as much as she safely could and more, knowing it wouldn't really matter here in a few minutes. Even as th sky grew to a new color, new light coming in through the roof and windows, dying the abused hall a sick shade, She was confident in her plan.
"Send him in" she spoke into a speaker at her collar. There was just one aspect left to her plan. She was sure it would work. If she knew anything about this woman, it was at least her attitude toward humans, weak ones at that. It was good that the next part of her set up was a much weaker man than herself. She wouldn't be surprised if the Sin acted as if he wasn't even her presence. He had no orders to attack directly, just stand there and do his part. He was pretty much safe. Ania gave a firm pull on some of the wires just to make sure. tightening them around the Sin slightly. All that was left now was to wait.
Though that brought up a different issue. She glanced past Pride, spotting the male togabito still existing. She glared hard at it, looking around for Surǽlia while she had the time to. When she spotted the Obelisk she didn't really look happy with her. "Finish it off" she mouthed to her. The male being there was a bit of a hindrance, even if he seemed dazed and uncaring. Pride was still its leader. If Ania succeeded in all of this the last thing she wanted was for the togabito to interfere and ruin all of it. Ania didn't even care if Surǽlia ended the togabito entirely through the methods they had discovered. She was almost okay with the Sin just running away. While it was true she wanted to see it taking its dying breath, Ania had a bigger picture to focus on, making sure Pride stayed right where she was until she could be taken away.
It was then that the human looked back to Pride, noting the changes she was undergoing, picking up on the one word she used. Ania smirked in reply, almost laughing. No, she wasn't going to be perishing. "Don't tell me you don't like the gift I prepared for you" she sighed out, feigning disappointment. That only lasted so long though. In no time at all she was giggling under her breath, her mentality slipping up. There was only so much she could keep hidden at times like these. Her eyes grew a few shades darker, narrowing in on the Sin. She couldn't say anything, couldn't brag about what was going on, even when she wanted so badly to. Instead she just smiled, her expression in some twisted place between purity and sadistic. It seemed to fit her perfectly though.

The sky up above began to change just as the energy did, turning into an orange hue as opposed to the normal blue one he had gotten used to seeing. Ikkyu wasn't exactly looking forward to going in there. Just standing outside, some distance away, was getting suffocating. Whoever thought it had been a good idea to make him do this must have really been mad. Then again, he was probably the only person within Consecro that could do what was being asked of him too. Well, at least some one got some use out of his powers. Lately they hadn't been doing him a lot of good. That was another subject entirely though, one he didn't have the time to linger on. Right at that moment he got a voice in his ear, one coming from a headset her had been given. It was time for him to go in there, and somehow not be crushed with all of the energy that should have been crushing the building entirely.
He didn't have the choice to hesitate about it. That in mind he took off, using bringer's light to reach the hall where the battle was taking place in no time flat. He took to the roof, finding that there was one more hole than planned. He wasn't going to question that though. Instead, he looked down inside, seeing one woman bound with the weapon that had been developed for this specific battle. He spotted another man with the feel of a togabito down in there, fighting some one he knew as one of the Obelisks. There was another woman he had only seen a few times, never knowing that well. From the situation, Ikkyu could gather enough to guess who she was exactly, not even saying the title in his head. All he knew was that the one that was bound was his target and the blue haired woman was the one who was helping him out.
Ikkyu leaped down into the room, faltering a bit. While the not so evil woman was expelling her own energy, it could only do so much to help him. He let his own flow out, doing all he could to fight back against it as it beat down on him. He couldn't exactly kneel down right there. He took a few steps closer until he could see the whites, or in this case blacks, of the blonde woman's eyes. He only took a deep breath in as he locked eyes with her, only able to hope that she wouldn't look away from him. That was the one thing that would foil this entire plan. If she behaved though, then Ikkyu was in the clear. In no time at all the memories the togabito had from unknown years of existence would begin to be locked away from her recollection. In just a few seconds nearly everything but perhaps her name would no longer be known to her, and that was if she was lucky. In preparation for this he had put some work into this power, leaving people nameless even, though they weren't quite as powerful as this one. Broken and WEARY, Unable to find MyWay | [atrb=width,320] The sin of sloth smiled slightly, knowing full well that his attack had at least come into contact with something. He looked at the quincy that had moved away from him. His usual self wasn't much for speed, so it took him a moment to even reposition himself towards the human. He moved his head to the side slightly, before again charging at her with full force. It was only a few moments later that he collided with something solid, a large chunk of the ceiling that was quite a bit behind the quincy. He shook his head, shrugging off the blow like it was nothing.
However, his eyes slowly scanned the room, looking for the blonde. His eyes finally saw her, and his sudden realization of the attack forced his body to move at his full potential, his sword being swung in the air as it vibrated infront of his entire body, intercepting with the blasts. He scoffed slightly, dreading this fight already. Sure, Vilof was very confident in his own abilities, especially when he stops messing around and brings his full potential, but he wasn't worried about losing. It was more so the style and tactics his opponent decided to use. He couldn't stand the fact that she was simply wasting so much time to run around and dodge. If he had it his way, they would just slug it out until one of them died. No bullshit.
But, this wasn't his perfect world and things didn't exactly go his way. That's why he focused on his own sword, causing it to vibrate slightly. He slammed the blade into the ground, lifting the ground behind him to make a sort of peak. He stepped back on it, holding his vibrating blade by his side. His legs compressed, and he launched himself towards the quincy. He used this spring-like momentum to increase his speed slightly, his sword aimed straight forward at the quincies chest, his mind not caring about much else until he actually collided with something. | [atrb=width,90]tag; Vilof Tera notes; -- stats: HAN: 19 REI: 18 HAK: 21 SEI: 16 BUK: 19 HOH: 17 | [cs=2] |
