[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style, background-color:#282828]917 words With eyes unimpressed You're sealing the conversations. And are you wondering how things could be? Just staring at the surface, When all the walls have tendencies. But it's not your fault when no one taught you how. | [atrb=style, width:250px;][atrb=valign, top] how quick to forget, we are Leto was much too busy reveling in her own power to notice what the human was doing. It had been decades since she had slipped into her true state, and the surge she was feeling now was more than a little overwhelming. As a silhouette of dark wings appeared behind the sin, she looked up to the hole in the roof with unnerving black and red eyes, seeing the orange light. Already, the sky was hers. In a few seconds, the humans were going to witness true Hell. And to top it all off, the wires binding her would be burned away shortly after. She had never bothered to deactivate Stella Crinita, after all.
Although it was hard to detect within the storm of swirling energy, Leto still felt another arrive. She hadn't noticed it before because really, none of the other humans were any of her concern until after she killed the leader. But the fact that someone that weak was coming into the battle now of all times... did they want to die? She had to see this. Leto looked away from the ceiling, catching sight of another human with blue hair - did they all dye their hair such ridiculous colours nowadays? Not only was his hair strange, so were his mannerisms. He was just standing there staring at the Sin. Not quite understanding what was going on, Leto stared back. She debated on killing him right there for daring to give her such a look, but then let go of the idea. They were all going to die soon enough, anyway.
Wanting to instill some well-deserved fear into the human, Leto looked him right in the eye, giving him a smug expression. She didn't even need to say anything. They all knew what was going to happen; how hopeless everything was. That had to be the reason they were all offering themselves up like this.
When she looked into the human's eyes, Leto suddenly got a bad feeling. She drew a huge blank, enough that she forgot what exactly she was doing at the Vatican. She mentally chased the thought, trying to remember what was going on. She had felt so good about something she had been about to do, but now it was gone. "What..." Before the Sin could say anything else, her mind went totally blank. Her eyes reverted to their normal golden colour and she stared blankly into space for a few seconds as the orange light, static, and even most of her Reiatsu faded. By that point, the golden light from Comet had burned through most of the wires before fading, leaving Leto to drop to the ground with a yelp of surprise.
"What was I doing up there...?" she whined very uncharacteristically before looking around quizzically. She was in what looked like ruins. There were a few people there with her, and they were all holding weapons and some of them, staring at her with weird expressions. She had no idea why. She didn't know anything. Did I hit my head...? Whatever had happened, she felt like it was somehow her fault. And seeing as she had no big fancy weapons like the rest of these people, she didn't want to stick around.
Hoping that they would just continue to stand around looking at her, Leto slowly got to her feet, giving them all pointed expressions that would let them know that she had no part in this and didn't want any part in it. Having spotted a nearby - homemade - door earlier, she tip-toed over to it, as if being quiet would help in any way at that point. After that, Leto took off running. She had no reason to believe that she possessed such freakish speed beforehand. But when the world suddenly turned into a blur, she couldn't help but shriek of astonishment. She was going so fast! The weird people would never be able to catch her. Not to mention, it was fun. However, the fun abruptly ended when Leto caught her foot on a rock. There was a distinct snapping sound and she went flying forward much faster than what should have been possible. She didn't have any time to register what had happened before she went shooting straight through a white wall that was made of some particularly hard material. She shot straight through what looked to be an empty building before hitting the other wall and bouncing back a few feet. She landed on her back, dazed, and stared up at the ceiling. The dull ache in her foot told her something was wrong with it, and because of that, she was too afraid to try and get up. Really, it was a wonder that she wasn't dead after plowing into two cement walls. She didn't feel that bad at all, really. That, coupled with the insane speed seemed really fishy. She obviously wasn't a normal person... but what else could she be?
Leto knew that she would have to get up eventually in case the people had chased her. No doubt, the ruckus she had caused would draw significant attention. So she got up into a sitting position and backed up against the wall she had so recently collided with, only using her uninjured right foot to push herself along. After that, she guardedly eyed the hole in the wall opposite her, hoping that no one would come through it before she formulated a plan of action that didn't involve screeching and running into things. |

Ania Charis Words: 618 Notes:-- Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground When the reiatsu in the room began to clear out, the world regaining its normal appearance, Ania knew she had this won. Her face lit up even more than before, and she released the few wires she still had a hold of. There wasn't much reason in still treating the thin like it would take more than a back hand to put her down. It took even less than that it seemed. Pride sent herself to the ground, her own power releasing her bonds. She must have forgotten how to keep herself up, because she fell right down to the floor, much to Ania's enjoyment. Ikkyu really had gotten every last memory. Well, nearly every memory. The woman still knew how to talk. Her voice was annoying, but hearing the tone of voice the sin took on made all of that okay. She had to stop herself from laughing, feeling oh so good in that moment.
Pride just couldn't give in though, even when she didn't know she was supposed to give in. It was delightful to see her all riled up, trying to sneak away. Ania stood where she was though; just waiting to see exactly what Pride thought she could do. She did the one thing the sin was really good at, run, and run fast. Normally she would have gotten angry about a togabito running away, but when it was Pride, it just felt right to her. She let out a pleased sigh, looking over to Ikkyu. She had one more use for him. "Follow" she order before she took off running herself, likely leaving the male behind, but surely he could sense her and pride easily enough to figure out where they ended up.
They didn't even end up that far. It was only short time before Ania had a good guess about where Pride ended up. There was a loud crashing sound that got her attention, and upon further investigation she spotted a building with a cloud of dust coming from a suspicious hole in the wall. The sin had a bad habit of creating holes in lovely buildings. Ania instantly made her course to the building, just in time to hear another crash. Had she really run into another wall already? It seemed she really did have no memory of how to do anything. There was one thing she could do though. When Ania reached the first wall, she spotted Pride lying on the ground, looking rather hopeless now. She was very good at remembering how to do that. Ania very much approved.
She walked inside casually, drawing her rapier as she made her way over to the sin. "Isn't this just something? I never thought things would go this well" she mused, knowing the sin would have no idea what she was talking about. Ania didn't really care about that though. She figured she had earned the right to gloat a little bit, bringing Pride down to the state she was in now. She reached the woman, pressing the tip of her rapier against the sin's throat, enough that it could be felt, but regrettably not enough to break any skin. "You aren't going to try and run away again" she said sternly, her face suddenly dark and serious as she looked down at the woman. "Try anything, and you're as good as dead" she warned. Pride didn't know what she was, so it was more than likely that she wouldn't know how much it would take to actually kill her, and Ania was taking full advantage of that. There was also the fullbringer who was going to make detaining the sin be a little bit easier.

He took a few steps back when the sin fell tot he ground, not pressing his luck as the weakest person in the room. It seemed he didn't have much reason to worry though. The sin seemed completely clueless as to what was going on. It had really worked. He hadn't been expecting it to work as well as it did. It seemed his powers were really quite something he could pride himself in. Though, he couldn't block off powers, so the sin was still able to run, run faster than he had ever seen anything go. He just stared after the woman, jaw nearly dropping. Sins really were in a class of their own.
He then got his order to follow behind Ania, able to guess well enough why she wanted him to come along. His powers really were quite the needed ones. He ran after both of them, though he lost sight rather early on. His speed wasn't quite as built up as his powers were it seemed. Though, just like Ania had found, it was easy to locate the two women. He pressed on, using bringer's light in that final push, reaching the hole in the building quick enough. Looking inside, Pride was down on the ground, Ania standing over her with a scary look on her face. Ikkyu probably would have stayed down too if he was getting the same look.
To keep from getting the same, horrifying look, Ikkyu didn't stand around any longer. He strode over to the pair, kneeling down by the sin's head. He looked down into her eyes once again, activating an entirely different power than before. Once the sin looked him back in the eye, something he was sure she would do since she would have forgotten how his power from before worked, she would be under his control. He doubted it was last long. this was still a sin. At best he guessed he had a few minutes, but that could be plenty to get the sin to her confines if they hurried and had to make no detours. "Follow us" he ordered her once he was sure she was under his control. Even if she wasn't, the order was probably going to be followed with the way the other human in the room was displaying her strength. His power would just save a few building from getting odd shaped holes in them. He stood, giving Ania a nod to let her know she could slide her weapon away. With that done, he offered his hand to the sin, sure she couldn’t deny him.

The battle was growing fierce as Pride and Ania clashed in the air. The sheer level of Reiatsu would’ve been overwhelming to any of the guardians and weaker tagobito. Surǽlia yet to even release any of her energy, she was still trying to maintain some composure in this fight without going full out to blow her opponent away. She just wanted it to last long enough for the other Obelisks to arrive so that the Sins would be forced to retreat. The difference between the two sides of this war was that one was organized and the other was not. That single factor would decide the victor. However, it looked like the Micans and Pride had come to a standstill of sorts and this Sloth was far more aggressive than Surǽlia ever thought he could be. This wasn’t going to be as easy as she’d hoped. He was strong, and certainly faster than she’d expected. There wasn’t enough time to wait anymore. It was time to finish this.
Surǽlia’s arrows flew through the air and were easily blocked by the Sin’s massive claymore. She remained expressionless as she observed his actions, preparing to dodge his next attack. As the Sin propelled himself off of a fallen boulder, Surǽlia bent her knees and sidestepped his powerful forward charge. He was fast, but she was faster. He blew past her, kicking up rubble and whipping her blonde hair into the air. Threw the dust and rubble. she slipped a Seele Schneider from her waist and activated it. This was number eight, so she needed to be careful about any further use of her Seele Schneider; running out of these would be rather detrimental to her survival. She slipped a ginto capsule from her belt with the same hand that she held the Seele Schneider and, with a deft slip of her fingers, popped the capsule and dripped the liquid reishi onto the hilt of the Quincy sword. A quick release of reiatsu activated the weapon. As the blue blade extended, a sort of green vine-like coloring chased the light up to the tip until the rapidly vibrating reishi blade’s hue altered completely to a lime green.
The Obelisk flipped the specialized arrow around in her fingers and drew it back in her bow. A pivot-spin set her positioning straight. She released the arrow towards the Sin of Sloth and if her mark was true, she’d plant the arrow right into hip, paralyzing his legs as he crashed into the wall. As the arrow flew, however, the energy in the air suddenly became crushingly powerful. She glanced over for just a moment before returning her eyes to Sloth. If Surǽlia was correct, Pride just went into rape mode. The golden energy that wrapped around her seemed to flood the room with an eerie feeling of fear and surprise.
“Shit.” Surǽlia bit her lip, trying to ignore the situation. She had her own enemy to fight and she couldn’t afford to get distracted. Another presence entered the room, a Guardian. Surǽlia’s first instinct was to use her speed to get him out before Leto could kill him, but before she could react, Leto had fallen to the ground, her power seeming to fade away, and fled through the broken doors. Surǽlia didn’t know what to do. She should focus on Sloth, but with Leto seemingly weakened, it might be wiser for the Obelisk to chase down the sin and prevent her escape. More importantly, how would the Micans like her to act?
”Fuck.” she muttered, returning her gaze to Sloth to be sure her Lähmung had hit it's mark.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style, background-color:#282828]561 words With eyes unimpressed You're sealing the conversations. And are you wondering how things could be? Just staring at the surface, When all the walls have tendencies. But it's not your fault when no one taught you how. | [atrb=style, width:250px;][atrb=valign, top] how quick to forget, we are Leto didn't even have time to get her thoughts together before a girl with blue hair whom she recognized from the other building strode in, brandishing an oddly thin blade. She said "things had gone well". Leto didn't understand what she meant by that, so of course, she had to ask. "What things?" she asked defensively, pressing her back harder against the wall as if it was supposed to make a difference. She really didn't like the expression on the girl's face or her condescending demeanour. She didn't like the looks of the weapon the girl was carrying, either. She hates me, Leto soon realized. It was so obvious just by looking at her. And yet she had no idea why.
Instead of an answer, Leto got a blade waving in her face. She flinched a little when she felt it touch her neck, but it didn't go any farther than that. After that, Leto only looked up at the other girl sadly, trying to figure out why she hated her so much. She couldn't remember doing anything bad enough to warrant that. Well, she couldn't remember anything, so that didn't say much. All she knew was that she really didn't like the blue-haired girl. Not just because of what was going on now, either. She just felt like an enemy.
After her flight, Leto had reason to believe that she herself was quite durable. So she had to wonder if she really needed to listen to the girl at all. Really, she had two choices: test her luck or go with them. Either way, she had a pretty good chance of dying unless she was as tough as she suspected, because the girl really didn't look like she was going to bring her somewhere nice. Then again, Leto couldn't exactly run with her broken foot. But still, she didn't want to go with the girl who hated her so much.
After a couple seconds, she reached up to grab the blade and move it off to the side. But before she had even touched it, there was another blue-haired person in her face. At least this one looked a little nicer. For whatever reason, he looked into her eyes and she just stared back, wondering what he wanted.
Suddenly, Leto developed an odd attachment to the male human. She had no idea what it was, but when he told her to "follow", she wanted to. She didn't care about the other girl anymore, she just wanted to follow the man's directions. There was something off about the whole thing even then, but her instincts told her to ignore that, so she did. Forgetting about her injured foot, Leto attempted to get to her feet, but the second she put weight on her left foot, she crumpled to the ground, temporarily stunned by the searing pain that had ensued. But seconds later, she got back to her knees. She had to get up so she could follow them like he had asked. It was something she had to do. She would crawl if she had to. But she would have preferred to walk, so she vainly tried one more time, gingerly trying to put her injured foot down on the ground again. "I will... follow you." she chanted in a monotone voice, letting the man know that she wasn't trying to disobey his orders. |

Ania Charis Words: 637 Notes:Can le Skip Ania for now Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Unfortunately, Ania didn't get to take her pleasure in piercing the Sin's neck. Before it got to that point, the beast was tamed by an increasingly useful guardian. It was a bit of a pity. It wouldn't like she had any intentions of killing the Sin. She had gone through too much trouble to catch it. With some hesitation she pulled her blade back, resheathing the rapier. There was a hint of mourning in her eyes though. Just being able to see it bleed more would have pleased Ania more than anything ever had hopes of doing. That was what she thought anyway. There weren't many times when Ania would admit to being wrong, but in a few moments she would be doing just that.
At Ikkyu's command, the woman scrambled up to her feet, or she tried to. That would be a much better term for it. It was apparent that Pride had really injured herself though, because she fell right back down to the floor. Ania nearly burst out in childishly joyous laughter. Keeping control over her body, she didn't even make a sound, but her expression expressed her feelings toward this new source of entertainment. She had a smile spreading form ear to ear, and her eyes were glistening as she watched the monster try to once again get to her feet. It was all in vain once again, and the prideful beast toppled down to her knees. She couldn't stop herself that time. a quiet laugh echoed in the back of her throat, loud enough for the two in the otherwise empty building to hear. She didn't feel a need to justify herself. Who wouldn't be overjoyed to see their number one enemy in such a state. Even someone who was looked at as a being only slightly lesser than God Himself could take satisfaction in her work.
"You don't have very long. Get her to her... quarters" she mused over the last word, recalling the cell that was prepared for the Sin deep below the Vatican. It could hardly be considered a quarter to say the least. Ania would likely be the one enjoying that too. She glanced over to the guardian, giving him a nod that should have signaled him to assist the fallen sin. If he didn't soon then God only knew what kind of trouble was going to take place. No more buildings needed new openings plowed into them.
Those orders given, she took off, heading full speed back to the meeting hall where she assumed Surǽlia would be standing over the melting body of a very deceased Sin. She stopped short, taking her stop at the doors. She could still sense a living togabito in there, and she doubted a new one had come along after Pride's little show of power. She opened the door slightly, spotting Surǽlia and then spotting whatever Sin was still left. Ania was pretty sure she had ordered Surǽlia to put an end to the beast. Her expression became hard, aimed at her Obelisk. Even in the midst of a serious fight, she was pretty sure Surǽlia could look over and see the disappointment written on her leader's face.
Ania didn't say a word, or take any action. After a moment of her cold stare, she simply turned away. Surǽlia could handle this on her own. If she couldn't, and wound up defeated somehow, Ania would be right outside waiting. She took a place leaning against the outside wall. Her senses were on high, tracing whatever might be happening inside as well as what might have been going on with a very defeated Pride. If anything happened with either, she would be able to respond within a matter of seconds. Nothing was going to go wrong today.

Ikkyu furrowed his brows as the sin tried to get up. Just a few moments ago she had been a raging woman of power, and now she was in this state, which was mostly his own doing. She may have been the ultimate enemy, but right now she was just a clueless mess. Still though, he heard Ania's laugh, glancing over to her. She seemed to thoroughly be enjoying this. She also seemed to be enjoying this all long before he had shown up. He put it aside though. He wasn't even supposed to know about her, so he didn't need to pay it any more mind than necessary. That would probably only serve to get him in trouble in the end.
So when the sin spoke in that monotone voice, and when Ania gave him that certain look, he just focused on the blonde in the room. He vaguely spotted the other woman leaving, but he still didn't pay her much mind. Instead, he extended his hand down to this excuse of Pride. Once he had her hand, he pulled her upright, hoping she didn't rush it and land on her injured leg once again. Even if she did, he moved quick to wrap her arm over his shoulder, taking on a large amount of her weight to make moving from this building actually possible.Once she had his aid, Ikkyu began to make his way out, not going above a walk. He may have been in a hurry, but if he decided to use any speed at all, he was pretty sure this Sin would take off like before. This time both of them would be slammed into a building, and with how much energy he had used to get this Sin in this state, there wasn't much he could do to stop i. Honestly, he wasn't feeling up to smashing into buildings today, but that was just a phase. He was sure he'd be up and ready for it in no time at all.
Minding the Sin's leg as well as minding any indication of her waking her her brainwashed state, Ikkyu led her along, glad that they didn't have to travel far. There was a building right next to the original hall, and that was where he led her. There wasn't much of anything inside, not at first glance anyway. When they passed by it, he reached out and flipped a switch. Out of nowhere, a staircase dropped down from the floor. He came to a stop at the first step, glancing over to Pride. Stairs would slow them down even more. That in mind, he simply picked her up, in a bit of a rush now. Spazzing would commence any minute. With a faster pace, he headed down the stairs, taking Pride off to the prison that had been made especially for her if this plan really did work, which it had in the end oddly enough.
