STATS HAN: 19, REI: 25, HAK: 17, SEI: 23, BUK: 15, HOH: 26 | [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #333333;] ■ Now that Leto had her on her knees, the human didn't seem so brave. Just like the rest of them... The Sin's Vector seemed to have the other woman fairly on edge, and so it should have.
Even through the realization that she had already dominated the human, Pride was a bit surprised when she started to talk. She was acknowledging Leto's power and even begging for her life. While it was amusing, the Sin found it too sudden. Was this human really so cowardly, or was this a ruse? Whatever the case, Leto knew that whatever the other woman tried, it wouldn't have any effect. Not at this rate.
When the human started to crawl the rest of the way towards her, Leto raised an eyebrow. What was she up to? When she felt a hand touch her foot, a filthy human hand, the Sin was visibly disgusted. She had given this creature no permission to lay hands on her. Leto raised her hand, as if to forge a weapon with her Animus Exsultans. When the human suddenly yelled and spat at her foot, the Sin blurred out of sight soundlessly.
She appeared many feet above the woman, glaring daggers down at her. So it had been a trick. Leto wasn't all too fond of trickery. "How dare you..." The Sin raised her hand, still keeping her Reiatsu high to pin the human, and snapped her fingers. Soon after, the ground under the woman would erupt in a miniature explosion, enough to send her flying a good few metres and give her mild burns. In whichever direction she flew, Leto would appear in front of her, kicking out towards her stomach to send her flying back in the other direction. Wherever the human landed after that, Leto would walk up to her, reach down with her right hand, and lift her off the ground by her neck, though she didn't apply much pressure. Now the woman was so close, inside Leto's range, but she still wouldn't be able to harm her. The Sin was positive of this.
"Clearly, you need to learn your place," she said, staring right into the human's eyes with a burning orange gaze. Pride decided that if she didn't end up killing this woman, she would at least leave her with a parting gift; make a spectacle of her.
One of Leto's Vectors swiped across the human's face diagonally from right to left. The cut was by no means fatal, but it would likely bleed profusely and leave a scar. After that, Leto would throw the woman towards her house, aiming to slam her up against one of the walls that were still intact. At the same time, a long golden lance formed in the Sin's free hand. As soon as the human slammed into the wall, Leto threw the lance towards her, aiming to pin her to the wall by her right shoulder. Then she lightened up her Reiatsu a bit. Leto wanted to see if the human could still possibly fight after this, or if she was even still conscious.

THIS IS WAR
Zazikel was somewhat thankful that the Sin had such great speed. Her explosive Kunai ended up hitting nothing but air and therefore had not blown up. Still she had a feeling worse was to come, after hearing the Sin say, 'how dare you..' she chuckled, her situation was quite hopeless.
Not a second later the ground underneath her exploded, well is was not really a super nor spectacular explosion but enough to send Zazikel flying a good few meters with some nice tasty mild burns across her chest. Nothing her fathers necklace could not fix, however Zazikel decided to tense up, she had a feeling she was about to get 'both slapped' by the 'God'. She could barely even move, the bitch still had her incredible reiatsu. The kick to her stomach, despite having tensed her muscles in a mild attempt to soften the blow hurt like a bitch. She could taste a rather large amount of blood in her mouth, spitting most of it out as she was sent flying in some other direction.
She landed in a rather ungraceful heap, her world barely stopped spinning when she felt her a hand wrap around her neck and herself being lifted of the ground. She frowned hearing what the Sin had to say, Oh great...now I get to learn my place! Aren't I so lucky. |
[/color] The next thing Zazikel knew was that she was bleeding, profusely. She had not even seen the vector, and yet, she now had a diagonal wound from the right side of her face, to the left. It would scar, great. She really did not have time to think of much else as the Sin ruthlessly threw her towards her destroyed house, aiming for one of the few walls that still stood. Zazikel was starting to hate the fact that a few of her walls were made of pure marble. She slammed into the marble wall, the wind being knocked out of her. She could barely breath, let alone catch her breath before a golden lance buried it's way into her right shoulder. She was pinned, fucking pinned to a wall. However she noted that the Sin had lightened up on her reiatsu, it would at least make regaining her breath somewhat easier. She looked at the Sin, she seemed to be watching, most likely preparing for a finishing blow or some shit. Well, Zazikel was not going to give her the satisfaction, sure she was in pain, her stomach still felt weird, in a bad way. Her back was sore, the wound on her face was still bleeding and now she had a stupid fucking lance in her shoulder. Fuck them mild burns, they were inconsequential in comparison. She gritted her teeth, having recovered from her winded state, and with her left hand grabbed hold of the lance. "Of course it would be golden." She rolled her eyes before twisting the lance, trying to lodge it free. She might have let out a pained cry, but then again the lance was hardly budging. However, after a few rather painful minutes, the lance came free with a hard yank and she dropped to the floor, barely managing to land on her feet. She threw the lance to one side, is was a heavy weapon and she doubted she could use the Sin's weapon against her, she had summoned it and could easily make it disappear. She only noticed then that her explosive kunai knives that had been in her left hand were gone. Zazikel was not to bothered though, they seemed to have been a rather useless weapon against a being as fast and as strong as Leto. She summoned her own sword in her right hand and frowned. She was in a rather hopeless situation, she was against an opponent who was not only faster than her, but could subdue her movements at a whim. However, she ignored that fact, she could and would continue fighting till she could not no more. "What are you waiting for Leto? You could easily end this fight in a single blow, so why don't you?" Zazikel was somewhat baffled at that fact, though she decided to try once more to go toe to toe with the Sin and her vectors. She would at least like to see how well she would fare against them. She rushed the Sin, her adrenaline doing a fine job of masking the pain that coursed through her body. She had to think how far her vectors could reach, she assumed that there was more than one of them, but how many, she did not know. When she was within two meters of the Sin, she pointed a hand towards the ground, "Air Blast!" The air blast, being pointed towards the ground at an angle would at the very least kick up a fuck ton of dirt and earth towards the Sin and Zazikel would follow after it, hoping to use the technique as a diversion to hide her intent to slash at the Sin. She also began charging some more power. [/div] [/td][/tr][/table] [/center]

STATS HAN: 19, REI: 25, HAK: 17, SEI: 23, BUK: 15, HOH: 26 | [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #333333;] ■ Leto watched with disinterest as the human slowly but surely removed her lance from her shoulder, commenting about the colour of the weapon for whatever reason. The Sin had almost decided to leave. It took too long for the human to recover, and Pride wasn't overly interested in standing around and watching it struggle. Something like that wouldn't have kept Leto subdued for even one minute. These humans seemed to have zero tolerance for pain. Then again, several lifetimes in Hell was just about the only thing that could give anyone such a high tolerance to be compared to a Sin. Still, it looked like the human had no intention of giving up, and while Pride might have roughed her up a bit, she wasn't passing out like most humans should have by now. So Leto waited. She wasn't entirely disappointed when the human dropped to the ground, even landing on her feet.
"Tch." Leto was a bit miffed when the human discarded her lance and pulled out her own sword. Why would she want to use something like that over the golden lance? Everything the Sin made was beautiful. Not only that, but they were apparently worth a lot of money because of what they were made of. Perhaps the lance was too heavy for her. Or maybe it was some sort of human moral garbage that compelled her to use her own weapon instead.
"Hmm?" Leto, who had been looking off to the side while the human readied herself, now looked back to her, detached as ever. "That would be boring," she replied, speaking as if it were the most obvious thing. Attacking someone while they were subdued by her Reiatsu was one thing; if they couldn't handle her pressure, that was their fault. But someone who was nailed to a wall and unable to move? Pride would never. The Sin wouldn't even dream of dispatching someone like that. And now, it was true that there was nothing obstructing her from killing this human since she was off the wall. But Leto wasn't serious right now. She wanted to play with the stronger humans a bit instead of killing them right off the bat. That seemed like a waste. If they ever became too much of a hassle - which they wouldn't, because they were just humans - the Sin would erase them then. But for now, Pride just wanted to test the waters. She wasn't interested in this world like the rest of the Sins seemed to be. She just wanted to find that person, and these strange, empowered humans seemed to be what would lead the way. Leto couldn't go about breaking her pawns. Or at the very least, she couldn't go making a habit of it.
Once again, the human was charging towards her. Didn't she get that close range attacks wouldn't work? She would never get past the Sin's Vectors. Leto was surprised for only a moment when the human sent the ground towards her in a blast of dirt. That was another thing she didn't understand about these humans. Why did they shout the names of their attacks? That only tipped the opponent off. Leto, being just a little tired of the same play being made, flared her Reiatsu once more. It reached its peak as the wall of dirt bore down on her. But the earth only slid past her form as the sheer energy that was pouring from her coated her being and repelled it. Although Leto let her Reiatsu fall back to normalcy afterwards, it was imminent that the human would have been staggered by the sudden surge. The Sin knew this, so she didn't move from her spot when she saw the human with her blade raised.
Two Vectors materialized this time, one reaching out to slap the human's weapon backward and away from Pride, and the other lashed out like a whip towards her torso in a horizontal slash. Hopefully, the human wouldn't be disemboweled by the second Vector. Leto didn't want to bear witness to such a mess up close. It was bad enough that she was probably going to get blood on her clothes.

THIS IS WAR
Zazikel was almost with in striking distance, using her wall of blasted dirt as makeshift cove to hide her movements. However, in the back of her mind she figured the Sin knew exactly what she was doing and as such, would probably not even bother to move. She was just that arrogant, and powerful to be able to do so. Zazikel was close to striking distance - suddenly she felt a flare of massive Reiatsu, effectively halting her movement complete. God, she hated having such low spiritual pressure, in a fight against the Sin, she would have no chance of ever winning.
She was almost brought to a knee, however the flare of Reiatsu was quick, and returned back to normalcy a few seconds later. She watched in somewhat disbelief as her wall of dirt slid past her form, haven been repelled by the burst of Reiatsu. Nonetheless she soldiered on, reaching striking distance, she made for a strike. She kept her eyes peeled for any sign of Leto's Vectors, she still did not know how many she had.
She narrowed her eyes when her sword was slapped backwards by a vector and not a second later a large searing pain erupted from her torso, bringing her to a knee in front of the Sin. Her left hand immediately went to clutch the horizontal slash that was bleeding rather profusely. She completed a quick analysis of her injury, it was quite serious, but not life threatening. If anything, this fight was not going to last for much longer of that she was sure. She was literally only a foot away from the Sin, kneeling, and trying feebly to stop the blood pouring from her new wound. She frowned, this was not how she envisioned her fight with the Sin to go down.
She suspected Leto would not make an imminent move, as it looked, she had won, any move Zazikel would make, would only end in more pain and potential death for her. Not to mention that Zazikel was kneeling before her, something a God likes to see from lesser beings.
She knew she still had one trick up her sleeve, she had built up a rather large reserve of spiritual pressure and therefore could preform more powerful techniques. She gave herself a small smile before looking up and into the Sin's eyes. She had a question, and she was hoping the Sin would at least answer it.
"Why...Why did you kill my father?" It was a simple question, one that had never really been answered. It was perhaps an obvious answer as to why Leto killed her father, but still, she wanted closure and who better to hear it from than the person who committed the murder. All the while, she placed her left hand on the ground, trying to balance her self. She was feeling like her world was spinning, most likely from the blood lose. Whether or not the Sin answered her question, she thrummed her charged up spiritual pressure through her left hand and into the ground.
Not a second later the power erupted, sending another wall of debris towards Leto who was not so far away, only a foot to be precise. The wall of debris reached a height of 60ft, with a height of 34ft and a width of 14ft. She doubted Leto would move out of the way of this one, she would most likely use her Reiatsu to repel said attack. Regardless, Zazikel gave her no second to respond, well she would try to accomplish such a feat. She leaped up, in a sort of last ditch attempt to cause even the slightest bit of damage to the Sin. Gripping her sword in her right hand, she lunged the foot between them and brought her sword down on the Sin. There was a clang of metal, something one would describe as a sword breaking. Zazikel knew one thing, she definitely hit something as her blade was broken. She could not really make out her surroundings, her world was spinning.

STATS HAN: 19, REI: 25, HAK: 17, SEI: 23, BUK: 15, HOH: 26 | [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #333333;] ■ Leto was somewhat surprised that the human hadn't opted to move. She didn't stop her attack even though she should have known full-well that it was useless. And because of that foolishness, she took the Vector's slash head-on. "Moron." Leto narrowed her eyes, hearing a wet sound as something red splattered across her shins. Now she had dirty blood on her clothes; she would have to burn them after this. If only the human had enough sense to dodge... The Sin had the right mind to kill the other woman, now. But she was kneeling for her. At least she recognized her place now. Given this, Pride would grant her a few more seconds. Though, if the human tried to attack again, Leto would end it. She had long since grown tired of the woman's antics.
Surprisingly enough, the human tried to make eye contact with the Sin. Most people never dared. with her slitted, cat-like pupils, not to mention the fiery orange colour they took on, eye-contact with Pride was known to be daunting. And then she asked a rather amusing question. Why had she killed this girl's father? Leto's passive expression didn't leave her face, but there was a hint of mirth in her eyes. Why? She couldn't even remember anymore. Given what the human had told her thus far, she could make a guess. But before the Sin could bother to reply, another blast of debris rose up. In that instant, Leto activated Stella Crinita, causing her body to be coated in her golden aura. The usage of Comet naturally caused her Reiatsu to spike, repelling much of the human's attack. Pieces still hit the Sin, but she barely felt them as they were repelled before any real damage could be done.
The storm of dust and dirt prevented Leto from seeing the other woman, but that mattered not. They could both sense each other's presence. And when the human once again, swung down at the Sin in a fruitless attempt, Leto raised her chained arm to face the oncoming blade. Her golden Hell's chain, wound tightly around her left arm just under the sleeve of her coat absorbed the blow. The Sin could feel the force reverberating through her arm, but it didn't bother her. The sheer fortitude of the chain combined with the aura that was currently covering it was enough to snap the blade in half.
Leto didn't give the human any time to recover after that. Closing the meager distance between them with a quick step, the Sin jumped up and slammed her right knee into the woman's chin, Stella Crinita's brilliant aura most likely already having blinded her. This brought the somewhat taller woman to a standing position. Leto was eye-level with her now. And before she could fall back down, the Sin's clawed right hand flashed in the darkness. Diamond-hard claws tore through the human's body until Leto's hand emerged on the other side, covered in blood. Oops. She didn't think that would happen. Maybe she had put a little too much strength into her thrust. Humans really were delicate. Now she had that nasty stuff all over her hand!
"My apologies. I must have gotten carried away," Leto said, her smirk growing. Seeing someone die after they had tried so hard to defy the God... there was something about it. Even if it hadn't been wholly intentional, the Sin couldn't say she didn't appreciate the sight. "I suppose I owe you an answer, before you die." Leto knew that the human wanted closure. Another of those silly human thing that meant nothing in reality. And Pride knew that this human was going to die very soon. Her claws had torn right through the center of the woman's chest, likely shredding her heart and lungs. "Why did I kill your father? Truth is..." She paused for a moment, as if to add suspense. "I still can't remember!" And then she pulled her hand back, laughing as she took away the human's last hope of knowing something that was important to her. She flicked the blood off of her hand and turned to walk away, but glanced back one more time, sneering. "See you soon." Her tone was full of malice. The woman's seemingly insatiable lust for vengeance made it clear to the Sin where the human would be reborn next. Maybe she would even allow the woman to be her pet later on.
