Statistical Guideline [Suggestion]

My only problem with it is that we don't really want to focus on numbers. Say I want to have my character fight someone stronger. If this comparison basically says that I cannot to anything to them, well that fight will just suck. While I would never expect to outright beat someone significantly higher, I would like the chance to actually... do stuff instead of just getting bitch-slapped around because stat comparisons say so.

However, if you'd really like to see something like this, you can PM nyc. He's the one who created our stat system and so he knows the most about it. BUT, bringing something like this into place after we've already come so far and done fine without it is bound to cause some sort of rebound. We aren't willing to risk losing good, active members and plot potential just to make our battles more precise. This forum leans more towards writing, rather than an RPG. We just have stats, like you said, as a guideline. Bleach sites with no stats or something akin tend to get chaotic.

Thanks for your input, though. ^.^ always great to see someone wanting to help. If we can find a way to use this without limiting ourselves, this could very well go through.
