LIKE THE BRIGHT SUN I'm going to take these bright sunny DAYS "Drakes, or Lindworms, or Wyverns, or Wyrms!" Rou shouted out in question as she ran through the sand, kicking up a trail of dust behind her every step. Her running was awkward, feet twisting and turning to land in positions that would have likely twisted her ankles was she not so used to running this way. Doing this though allowed her to push off in her steps and twirl within the air, her arms spread out wide as she laughed. Once more she did this though this time she slid to a stop, leaving a trail across the white sand. She spun around one last time, effectively making her hair fall into her face, almost hiding it completely. Through a small opening though she could look up to the black, barely lit sky, her green eye sparkling with joy despite her depressing surroundings. To anyone looking on it was clear she was off in her own little world.
The espada scanned the sky up above her, looking at particularly nothing but searching for everything. She was off on another trip from las noches, figuring sitting around would accomplish nothing. She needed to venture out and protect it like a true hero. Nothing could pose a threat if it it couldn't get anywhere near the kingdom. So here she was out hunting dragons. And oddly enough a decent amount of hollows seemed to resemble these beasts. She hadn't left only a trail of dust in her path but if looking back in the direction she came from she could see a mass numbers of dragonesque hollows cut up into pieces, left that way by her own butterfly blades which she kept a tight grip on.
She smiled proudly, giving a sweet giggle. She couldn't help but t leap with joy, springing up like a cheerleader trying way too hard. She spun around again, swinging her arms before resheathing her blades back into their holsters under her sleeves. For the time being there didn't seem to be anymore dragons around and so she could stop and wait up on another who she had dragged out with her.
"Seaweed head?! Where did you go?!" She called out, cupping her sleeve covered hands around her mouth to amplify her already very loud voice. It would seem she was calling out for some badly named pet instead of her superior, Raijin. She looked around, not spotting him walking over any of the nearby sand dunes just yet. She pursed her lips, hands resting upon her slim hips as she did another slow turn. "He's so slow...oh no!" suddenly she gasped, the worst filling her thoughts. What if she had missed one and it got the other espada?! "Seaweed head?!?!" She called more frantically. Raijin was strong but she was an expert dragon hunter . She should have known better than to run off without making she he was right behind her.

"Why the hell did I agree to this" Raijin mumbled under his breath, moving sluggishly along the white sand. He didn't leave any footprints, rather left two small lines that his feet cut into the sand as he stumbled along. He wouldn't even be out here if his fellow Espada, Rou, didn't annoy him before he finally agreed to accompany her on 'slaying the dragons'. He barely understood what went through that girl's mind. Much less the insane games she comes up with. Thinking about Rou, he realized it's been fairly quite the last few minutes. His head lifted, before scanning around him. "where did she run off to.." He asked himself quietly, scratching his head slightly while he arched his back. A small groan escaped from his lips. Being hunched over for that long of a period sure did make the back sore. His pace finally quickened, figuring Rou was at least somewhere close. There were a few bodies in his path. Not just bodies, but dragonesque hollows. After further examination, it was confirmed to be Rou's handy work. The cuts matched the length and pattern of her butterfly blades. Finally, a sign that she was actually nearby. Or at least has been here since they went out on their quest to slay the dragons. A small smirk crept up on Raijin's face, the left side's dimple being covered by his mask. He figured out a way to get even. Raijin started running, the corpses now less spread out with a definite pattern to them now. This was the road that would lead him to his beloved princess, and the perfect way to get back at her. The corpses started to thin again, before Raijin spotted Rou's dust trail ahead of him, and more importantly, the childish girl bouncing and jumping around. He gave a small signal with his hand, aimed off in the distance. A moment later, the nearby ground would shake slightly. It was finally time. As his companion yelled out his name, Raijin started to wave back at her. "Hey! Over here, my Princess!" He yelled back, starting to run towards his fellow Arrancar. He was there in a matter of seconds, releasing some of his spiritual power and letting lose his full speed, stopping almost on a dime next to her. "You only have this much done? Over the hill over there, I have about double the corpses!" Raijin mocked the Tercera Espada. "This is why Princess aren't heroes. They aren't very good at it." He said, crossing his arms and turning his back towards the girl. It took only a moment, before a huge rumble was heard and the ground shook beneath them. At this time, an extremely large hollow emerged from the ground nearby. This hollow was massive, nearing four stories tall, and near a football field in size. Within a moment, it's mouth collapsed upon Raijin, engulfing him within its massive jaws. Raijin let out a started cry right as he was taken a hold of, calling out for help, even letting out one last "Rooouuuu!" before his voice went silent.

LIKE THE BRIGHT SUN I'm going to take these bright sunny DAYS Rou had really begun to worry. She wasn't getting any kind of response. Oh no! What had she done? She had abandonned Raijin and left him to get eaten up by werewolves or ogres. This was so bad. So very bad. How could she be a hero if she was leaving people behind. A hero never did that. But...Raijin was so dreadfully slow. He had been right behind her. It was really his own fault for not staying right at her side. That was how people got killed! It was like he had never heard any fairy tales in his life!?
Then all of her fears were let go. Up on the top of a dune...there was a waving figure. Could it be? It answered her! That voice! Yes, it was him! The segunda still lived! He had managed to escape the deadly beasts that were all around and he had found her once more. He must have been terrified! When he was at her side she was about to reach out and comfort him, ready to spew apologies. Then he spoke again.
All she had done? What? She didn't believe what she was hearing. "That can't be true! I-I didn't miss any! Theres no way there could be more!" she argued, brows knitting together though it was hard to see through her mess of hair. Really underneathe all of that she had a distruaght look. Was she slipping. And wait... I'm not a princess! I'm a Hero! The best Hero there is! I have to protect the princesses! Like a knight! Seaweed Head you don't understand!" she raised her small hands, balling up her sleeves within tight fists that proceeded to launch themselves into the other espada's back. They were weak and could probably barely be felt but they were getting the point across that she wasn't happy with him at all.
Just as she was about to land another hit the ground suddenly began to shake, taking her attention away from Raijin for a moment. "What was that..." she mummbled, looking down at the trembling sand. Something was coming. And before she even knew it some did come. Up put of the ground, right infront of her, a huge hollow shot up out of the ground, a loud roar being released from its widely spread jaws. And those jaws...they were... "RaiRai!" Rou yelped, watching as the hollow devoured her friend with only the effort of a single bite. "I'll save you!" she called out, hoping that perhaps he had been lucky and escaped the teeth of the hollow that would surely crush him into nothing more than Raijin bits (part of a healthy nutritional breakfast for hollows).
She ran at the hollow, screaming at the top of her lungs with the signature battle cry the best heroes always had. She did train for these things after all. Reaching back over her shoulder, Rou drew her zanpakuto. By now she had the hollow's attention. Its big glowing eyes stared at her from behind its bone white mask and it was now propelling its head down to consume her just at is had consumed her dear friend. That wasn't going to happen. When the hollow made its move, Rou gave a push, her feet sliding in the sand some before they pushed up a large dust cloud as she sonidoed ahead. When she appeared again she was right at it face though to the left enough to not be throwing herself into it's jaws.
"You have taken your last innocent life. No more of the pure hearted souls will ever have to fearfully look into your jaws as you devour them for your own disgraceful purposes!" she hollered, giving a good heroic speech as her blade finally meet the flesh of the hollow. It cute right through the mask above its mouth. But she wasn't done yet. Expelling her reiatsu from her feet, Rou sent herself flying down the length of the hollows body until she reached its abdomen. "Evil shall not conquer in this world which I protect. I shall destroy the sources of darkness and forever let the light shine down!" She held out her hand as she drew back her black blade. A silver cero was forming there and in a matter off seconds it was released, blasting a shot that tore straight through the giant hollow, tearing it in two.
As the hollow let out its last cry before it collapsed to the ground lifelessly, Rou allowed herself to float back down to the ground, resheathing her blade. She hung her head when she reached the white sand that was stained with splattered blood now. She was being quiet. It was strange. A breeze blew her hair back and a solemn look was clear on her pale features. She had lost Raijin. Despite taking out the evil that had killed him, she was still under the impression that he was forever lost. She was giving him a moment of silence.

Raijin smiled at the distraught his words delivered to his companion. Of course, he didn't really mean them. Rou was a fine warrior, even if she was a little odd and childish. It was just to mess with her, for always dragging him on these stupid little adventures of her's. Not to mention Seaweed head..man did he really hate that nickname. However, it was not the time to think. The hollow he ordered to swallow him as soon as he mocked the Tercera, had finally arrived to swallow him whole. It required extreme focus to make sure that he was in no real harm from the, well, giant dragon that had just swallowed him. Thankfully, he felt the shifting sands beneath his feet, and was able to draw his zanpakuto while in the creature's mouth, stabbing it into its throat and holding on for dear life. The acids within any hollow's stomach was not to be played around with, and in hindsight, this was a rather risky prank to pull on his dear friend. It didn't take long before Raijin started to feel the beast's body react to the pain and attacks from the Princess. Nor was her 'ferocious' battle cry unheard from within the beast, leading to a small smile showing up on segunda's face. This was definitely worth the trouble, even if it got him a little dirty, and had a chance of death. What's life without fun. He wasn't expecting the cero. It caused the dragon's body to explode, sending bits and pieces of dragon-hollow guts and bones soaring in every direction. It's like the so called heroine didn't even consider that Raijin could have still been alive, aiming at damn near the exact spot the espada would be if he were actually swallowed by the dragon. At least he managed to stay alive, and the neck was still intact and hardly moved. Now, it was time for part two. This was something he absolutely adored doing to his precious companion. Hell, he practically did it every time he saw her. It was time to sneak up on the unprepared, and grieving hero. The segunda crawled out of the lower part of the dragon's neck, sheathing his zanpakuto, and slowly approached Rou. He stopped for a moment, noticing she was actually silent and still for once. It must have been for a moment of silence, something to honor him with. Man, she was an odd one, even if this gesture gave a slight warm and fuzzy feeling inside of him, and a smile curled onto his lips. But, he couldn't stop now, as he began to approach Rou once more. As soon as he was within a leaping distance, he didn't hesitate, jumping to the left of Rou, landing with a thud as he put his right arm around her shoulder. Man, was he a sight. His jacket was ripped in multiple places, there was blood dripping down his left arm, there was a pool of blood on his right side, and his hair was mattered with the random bodily fluids within the hollow. It soooo was not worth this price. At least not yet. "hardly a hero. If this wasn't just a joke..I probably would have died. This is why you belong in the castle, my Princess. Not out here on the battlefield." He mused, sticking his tongue out at her. "Thanks for saving me, Hero" He said softly, hoping she wouldn't be able to make out what he said, as he pulled her a little bit closer, giving Rou a half hug. "How about next time you actually wait for me, instead of just running on ahead like an impatient child?" He asked, straightening up, and trying to clear off some of the random gunk left on his outfit and skin with his left hand. The shit was everywhere. He should have picked a hollow that actually took care of itself, into a random behemoth. "Oh, and what kind of nickname is RaiRai?" He questioned, in a slightly mocking tone.

LIKE THE BRIGHT SUN I'm going to take these bright sunny DAYS All of a sudden Rou felt something wrap around her. She yelped, her head shooting up to look at her attacker. She was ready to punch whatever was there but sudden;y found herself frozen. Raijin was standing there. A slimey, bloodsoaked Raijin had his arm wrapped around her. He was a mess, dripping with hollow guts and his clothes were shredded from whatever mess he had run into after be swallowed up whole. And he was getting his grossness all over her now, spreading it into her hair and smearing it over her shoulders. It felt truly disgusting, but Rou didn't care.
She was thrilled to see him. Among the Espada Raijin was close to her favorite. Thats why she had chosen to drag him out as opposed to some one else. She was terrified when she had lost him and now he was back from the dead. Her face lit up with glee, her smile so wide it seemed like her cheeks would rip. She was practically glowing with joy. At least for a moment she was. then she was stricken with heart break. Raijin was right. He had gotten eaten and would have been killed but it seemed he was just messing with her to prove his point. She hung her head as her smile faded. She was utterly depressed at his words despite their joking intentions. It was clear to see the major shift of emotions in the girl even if her hair had her saddened face with dropping eyes and a deep frown that trembled as she held back tears. Again she wasn't moving or speaking and it seemed all the light had left her.
Something brought her back from the darkness though. Five softly spoken words reached her ears and suddenly her eyes widened. Her head shot up again and she was looking up at the other arrancar with damp eyes. "Hero?" she repeated, wanting to make sure she had heard him right. Then she was pulled into a poor excuse of a hug. She was going to fix that. she threw her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. "Seaweed Head things I'm a Hero! Yay!" She clinged to him, refusing to let go even if it was an invasion of space and even if she was effectively making herself disgusting with the bodily fluid of the giant hollow.
"I won't leave Seaweed Head's side ever again I promise!" she shouted way too loud for being so close to him. She giggled sweetly. Finally Raijin was calling her a hero. He's probably be back to calling her some weak princess who had no business hunting dragons within the hour but for now she was fully accepting his acknowledgement. And RaiRai is a cute nickname!" She retorted, not liking how he was laughing at her. He was definitely going to stay Seaweed Head from now on.

It took a moment before the true disgustingness of the hollow guts really started to sink in. The fluids started to bleed through Raijin's clothes, actually touching his skin. It was slimy, wet, and smelly. It was absolutely disgusting. But, right now, he didn't really care. Seeing the joy in Rou really picked up his spirits. It was nice to see her beaming with joy, especially with that wide smile. It was a treat by itself, being a rare sight. He couldn't help but smile back, almost as wide. His heart almost broke. To see this ball of smiling joy and energy turned into something that made his heart sink, feeling like he took it just a little bit too far. It was almost unimaginable how fast the change was. It was all just a prank anyways, to get back at her for dragging him along on this stupid little quest of her's. It wasn't planned to go this far. He didn't want to actually hurt her. She was her favorite Espada after all. Even if she was annoying and a brat and very childish, there was always something to do and some fun to be had whenever she was around. He had put the light out. That is, until he suddenly had a lanky girl clinging onto him. "Yes yes, now get off!" He said, trying to push her off gently, not wanting to actually hurt her. He sighed, defeated, then hugged the girl back. It was a nice and tight hug, tight enough that a few of the pieces of hollow flesh that was clinging to his hair slid off, to plop on top of Rou's head. He didn't even notice. "Not so loud!" He shouted back, his ears ringing from her overly loud voice. "At least not this close. And fine, you did so well slaying the dragons, you can be my sidekick" he said teasingly, finally pushing her away a little bit so he could look at her, smiling. He didn't realize how much gunk had actually gotten on her until now, noticing the fluids that covered both of them. God, hollows were really disgusting. Raijin's right hand moved to Rou's hair, ruffling it as he knocked off some of the larger and stray pieces of hollow flesh. He felt a little bad for getting her this dirty, and wanted to at least help a little. They both really needed the get clean, this shit really stunk. "It's a lot better than Seaweed Head" He agreed. "god I hate that nickname" He mumbled, running a hand through his hair "it's not even like seaweed..."

"I don't don't want to get off!" she whine, pouting and clinging to her fellow espada even tighter. However it was in vain and she found herself being pushed away. She placed her hands on her slender hips, putting even more. Raijin was such a downer, ruining such a great hug. Though she had to admit with all the hollow goop everywhere. It was slimy and even though Rou didn't really mind being sloppy most of the time. Anyone that looked at her knotted up hair could see that much. Even she had her limits though. So she was grateful when Raijin raked so of the slop out of her hair, freeing her of a little bit of the gross feeling.
"What do you mean I can be YOUR sidekick?" she huffed. Rou was the hero. If anything Raijin would be her sidekick. Sure he was a bit stronger than her and held a higher rank than she did and might have understood quite a lot of things better. But she had justice and innocence on her side. They had gifted her with the power of a true hero that could serve her Queen better than any other. She wasn't going to stand by and hear this. She poked at Raijin's chest. She wasn't gentle about it either. "Say it right" she order, continuing to poke at his chest until he admitted that he would be her sidekick.
In the midst of this Raijin happened to comment on his long running nickname. What was wrong with seaweed head? "But it is like seaweed" she explained, tilting her head to the side some in confusion. "Its wavy and clumped together and sticky and slimy and it smells funny" the tercera pointed out. Of course a lot of that had to do with the gross hollow remains but really it was all true. So who was he to argue/ "Silly Seaweed Head just doesn't realize what a mess he is". Like she had room to talk.

center] [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 450px; padding: 10px;][bg=121212] LIGHT ME UP When I'm Down. Do you Have a Light? can you Make me feel Alright? The pouting, clinging, and whining made Raijin feel a little bad. It was just a little awkward to hug her. Most espada don't get along, and they get along fairly well. Sure, they were slightly disgusting, and he didn't want to get any more of the stuff on her, but he still enjoyed the hug. A soft sigh escaped his lips, as he hugged Rou again, extra tight, for another few moments before letting go. This time, nothing fell onto her, and he made sure of it. Even though they were probably equally covered now, thanks to the long, clingy hug. "I am allowing YOU to me MY sidekick. It's not every day I actually offer it to someone. It's a special honor, being a side kick. Especially to someone like me!" He retorted back, again slightly mocking her by acting, well, a lot like her. He was poking a bit of fun at his dear heroine. He really didn't care who was who's sidekick. It didn't really matter too much to him, but he did enjoy teasing his fellow espada when he got the chance to. Even though that's what got them into this mess from the beginning. He didn't really mind the poking for a few jabs, but then it started to hurt a little. "fine, I'm your sidekick. But, you have to prove yourself worthy of such an amazing sidekick like me. I can't just be a sidekick for some mediocre hero. I have to be the sidekick for the best hero." He said, smiling slightly. He was going to make her work. It was the least she could do, he was playing along with this big game of hers anyways. Even if he was enjoying it. "No it isn't" He responded, looking directly into Rou's eyes. "That is just all the hollow guts, not my actual hair. My hair is wavy, and fine, and silky, and smells just fine!" He retorted, obviously upset at the comments on his hair. It was his hair after all. It needed to look good just like the rest of him. "you can't talk like looking like a mess, Foolish Princess" He snapped back. Even though he knew it was true, he had to defend his honor. Rou had been set on jabbing his chest even harder but finally Raijin gave into her will. The moment he admitted to being her sidekick, she pulled back he thin finger which disappeared under her white sleeve and smiled widely, quite pleased with the outcome. She didn't think she could have been happier. But then Raijin went and surprised her. He wanted her to prove herself. She wasn't a mediocre hero. She was the best hero! And if Seaweed Head didn't know that already she would just have to show him. She couldn't ask for anything more than his trial. "I will prove to you that there is no better choice! I'm the most heroic hero there is! None can stand above me!" She was beaming with pride, jumping up and down by now with a soft giggle. Spreading her arms out she spun around, stepping a ways back from Raijin before she finally stopped, facing him with a much too cute smile.
"Silly Seaweed Head, you don't need to try and defend yourself. Seaweed Head is a Seaweed Head." she tried to make it seem like not so much of a bad thing. He needed to be comfortable with his seaweed-like hair. And she chose to ignore his comment back to her. She didn't care if she was dirty. Heroes had to tough out the grime and in the end would have armor that outshone all the rest.
Now then! Prepare yourself for the hero that once took down a fleet of Ogres with a broken leg! she proclaimed, reaching back and drawing her blade that was still covered in the blood of the hollow that had eaten Raijin earlier. She held it out infront of her, giving a slight nod of her head. She was going to be so cool! She was going to wait it out and let her friend attack her first. It was a move that breathed confidence so strong it made her tremble with pride. This was so great! She had a hard time containing her self. She had to jump softly from foot to foot, making her hair bounce. She didn't look all that calm and cool but she really thought she was.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 450px; padding: 10px;][bg=121212] LIGHT ME UP When I'm Down. Do you Have a Light? can you Make me feel Alright? Near the end, the finger really started to hurt. It was rather annoying, and Raijin was happy when the poking stopped after his proclamation. He still liked when she smiled, especially knowing that it was him who gave her that smile. However, this was his game now. If she wanted him as a sidekick so much, she would just have to beat the words out of his lips. Besides, the Princess wasn't going to beat him. Even if they were practically the same in reference to power, he was going to make her admit to be his sidekick. "Sure there isn't, and I'm sure you are, Princess." He smiled softly, watching her practically spaz out with pride and, well, to be honest cuteness. However hard he tried to stop smiling back at the Tercera, he couldn't. And honestly, he really didn't want to. "Oh, how correct you are Princess. I am sorry for the errors in my ways. It is wrong to question someone with such high standing. If only you were a hero instead of a Princess." His tone was somewhat hurtful and mocking. He really didn't care at this point, this has turned into more of a fight than them just going on an adventure. He had to get into it. His fellow Espada really wasn't much to joke around with if they were both serious. And he knew, that Rou would stop at damn near nothing to make him submit as her sidekick. However, that really didn't stop him from laughing at her. The stance she took was nothing but hilarious to the Segunda. The nodding, the bouncing, and the funniest thing, the signs that she was just beaming with pride and anticipation. To Raijin, she hardly looked cool. She was just a hyper active ball of energy that was just waiting to be released. He could see the movements clearly, betraying the calm and cool look she was going for. He truly couldn't stop laughing to himself about the entire ordeal. He finally stopped after a minute, taking a few moments to catch his breath. "That's all? A fleet of Ogres is hardly something to be proud of. Some Hero you are" He could help but mock her a little bit more, trying to edge her on more. Really, he didn't care how this ended. It was just pure fun to him. But, that didn't stop him from trying to win. Without another word, Raijin's rapier was drawn, the tip still glistening red. "Cero" He said softly, a bright, teal colored beam escaping from the tip of his rapier. It wasn't aimed directly at Rou, but more to the side. It was a warning shot. "I'll show you who the princess is Seaweed Head!" she whined, balling up her fists. He was so mean! His tone was clearly one that was making fun of her again. She really couldn't help but pout. What had she ever done that made him think she wasn't the one true hero of this story? Had she not just slaughtered up an army of dragons? Was she not the barer of light? Was she not the perfectly noble knight like all true heroes were? Here he was though always trying to take her spot and make her the princess up in the tower, waiting for her prince to come. She wasn't the least bit interested in any of that! She was a pure born heroin!
"And Ogres are really scary! What would you know?!" she huffed, slamming her foot down in the sand. Finally she was still, seriously waiting for Raijin to make his move. She was actually starting to find herself getting annoyed. Had she been and evil mastermind Raijin would have been blasted to bits like the insubordinate minion he was acting like. Luckily for him though she was above that.
When Raijin pulled his blade, Rou readied herself, making sure her grip was tight. Thats when she spotted the small orb at the tip of it. He was charging up a cero. And her guess was right. A moment later a blue laser like blast was fired her way. She could tell it was aimed slightly to her right. His aim was so bad! Of course he was the side kick! Rou spun to the side, the cero breezing right past her, barely missing the tips of her hair as it swept by. As Rou continued to spin she had her own light orb forming in her free right hand. When she made her complete 360 she had her hand drawn back, throwing it forward with her own powerful white cero from her palm. It wasn't a large one but it was definitely fast.
"Seaweed head needs to learn how to shoot!" she scolded in a giggling tone. With her cero fired , she launched herself into the air, fully expecting Raijin to dodge one way or the other. When he did Rou would be in the air, ready to come down on him with a swing of her sword. "I'll teach you some day okay?" then she giggled. Even in the middle of their little spar she couldn't help her large smile nor her light hearted ways. Raijin wasn't a bad guy so she didn't have to go all out. She'd kill him if she did. That was no good.

Really, Raijin didn't care much about heroes or princes or princess. Hell, he hardly even cared about the entire fantasy world that Rou lived in. He respected the heroin. She was talented and a very strong opponent. It was just pure fun to mock and make fun of her. She was spaztastic, and just overall fun to be around. Even if he was forced and dragged into her random quests of heroism, it was still something fun to do. Raijin really didn't mind it, he just gave the appearance that he did. The only thing he really didn't like, was the nickname Seaweed head. Otherwise, he actually enjoyed being around Rou and doing the random things she came up with. His attention was brought back when there was a flash of white light, the Princess' cero heading right at him. He slide to the right barely, then rotated his body so that it was parallel to the cero, his zanpaktou in front of him, and his left hand behind his back. The cero flew by him, just missing the entire front side of his body. The force of the cero wasn't much, thankfully. If it was, he would most likely have found himself off balance or on the ground. However, he knew better than to think that was the only attack. He followed Rou along her path. His was ready. He lifted his blade to meet with Rou's, clashing against it. The force was rough, causing him to slid backwards during the initial clash. "I'm obviously the Princess, my Hero." he responded to her, smiling back up at her. He really liked seeing her have fun. It was obvious neither one of them were really going all out, and that was the way the Segunda enjoyed it. It was fun to just spar with someone practically equal to him. Especially someone who acted and fought so differently. Raijin pushed back against her blade, trying to just push her away from him. Either way, he leapt backwards, giving a little bit of distance between the two. "It was a warning shot. Don't you know the rules of a hero?! Don't ever harm a Princess." He mocked again. He had to mock her. He really didn't know why. He smiled at her again, hoping to reinforce that he was just messing with her. However, he didn't give much time. He started to dash towards Rou, before using Sonido to quickly move to her left, his rapier posed as he gave a thrust towards her abdomen. Rou could feel the force from their clash tinging up her arm. It made her smile even more really. Violence wasn't among her favorite things in the world but it was always a part of being a Hero. Facing someone who could at least put up a challenge, even if it was just a friendly spar, was always welcomed. It got boring killing dragons and trolls. She hadn't faced any real action in a while, and none as Zelena's beloved knight. She didn't want to start thinking she was going soft. That would be no good. No good at all. So when she felt both Raijin's and her own strength through their blades she was pleased. Raijin was stronger than her in some aspect she didn't care to pay attention to. But still that meant she was at least on some level near him. This was very good.
"Warnings are to be spoken not shot. Once you take your shot you must continue on to not show weakness!" she corrected him, wondering where he had learned his negotiation skills. If she was firing at some one it would be a give in that they would expect an all out battle to occur. "And, neh. I know you can't hurt princesses. Why I'm didn't hit Seaweed Head~" she giggled, forgetting for a moment that they were in the middle of their little battle. It was a terribly bad habbit of hers.
The next thing she knew Raijin was running toward her but suddenly vanished. It was then that it hit Rou that she was being a hero right now and couldn't much focus on teasing her Seaweed Head. She turned in time to at least see Raijin as he thrust his sword forward. She spun around. She felt the cold metal glide over her skin. It tore through her shirt, leaving a small shredded rip there and probably even left a small scratch on her pale skin underneath. She felt a bit of irritation on her side but when she looked down she didn't see any blood, taking that as a good sign of a narrow escape. Rou slid to a stop if only for a second, facing Raijin. She had what looked like a strange mix of a pout and a gleam of excitement. He wasn't supposed to be able to land a hit on her. That wasn't fair. At the same she was getting more thrilled in this. She was never one to be all that predictable nor uniform so it shouldn't have been any shock.
When she came to a stop she only took a moment to regroup before getting back to her task. She stepped forward, slashing her blade once from the left. Then another step forward and she was swinging a slash from the right. She took another, spinning again with her blade coming fast from Raijin's left once more. However she ducked down, extending out her leg. Her attack had changed mid spin. Now she was just trying to kick Raijin's legs out from under him. hoping to send him onto his back.

Raijin really loved to see Rou smile. Something about seeing his childish companion smile always made him replicate the same emotion, smiling back. It was hard not to. Of course, this seemed to happen more and more as they spent more time together. It wasn't that hard to get her to smile, nor was it really that rare. However, it was still a blessing to the Segunda. Even in battle, the thought and feeling behind it still remained the same, and he would always smile back at his Princess.
"a warning shot is to demonstrate one's power. To frighten them into backing down, or making them concede. It is the step before full on action is taken" Raijin retorted, figuring she didn't really know much about true politics and negotiation. One had to demonstrate their strength to get their point across. It didn't matter much now, though. She responded with actions of her own. "Oh, are you calling me a princess now? Well then, why not do the heroic thing?" He said with a smile, just poking some fun back at her. He was usually never like this. It must be something that the Tercera just brought out of him. That, and the fact that she was his friend, and this wasn't really a fight.
After his attack, Raijin couldn't help but be glad that he didn't harm the Tercera. He was glad his expectations were correct in assuming she could dodge his attack, and he really couldn't be happier. He was just as glad when he didn't see any crimson fluid leaking from the slight tear that Raijin could feel through his blade. The look on Rou's face made him give a soft smile. Her usual cute pout was mixed with what appeared as something of excitement. That gleam of excitement that he gave to her. He couldn't help but feel happy about it. It was proof that she was enjoying herself. "Sorry Princess, I didn't mean to harm you" He said, his usual mocking smile apparent on his lips.
It was too late for when Raijin snapped back to his senses. He leaned backwards, causing himself to become unbalanced as the left grazed past his chest. It was too late for the right, as the tip of her blade left a long slice on his chest. A small trickle of blood poured out of the wound, it barely just breaking the skin to let the sticky fluid out. However, the warm feeling on his chest only brought Raijin back to his senses in time to raise his rapier in an attempt to stop the oncoming blade.
A look of pure shock was on his face when his fellow Espada changed her attack during mid spin. He was soon on his back, landing with a solid thud. His head spun slightly as the warm fluid on his chest continued to trickle slightly. It would stop on its own in a matter of minutes. He grumbled slightly, just laying there in defeat.

Rou really didn't know what Raijin was saying about warning shots anymore. More or less she had tuned him out. She was right about her methods and she knew it. What would Silly Seaweed Head know that could possibly ever outshine her own knowledge about being on the battlefield and striking fear and submission into her enemies with just a few brave, strong words that carried the power of good and justice in them? He was just her sidekick after all. He was strong and brae and all that but Rou was the seasoned hero here. He was supposed to look at her example. It was what was correct.
And just to prove their order, Rou leaped up the moment Raijin hit the ground. She came to her peek about fifteen feet in the air, directly above Raijin before she came speeding down, her blades still drawn. They were in what seemed the perfect position to come down upon his chest right into both of his lungs. However as she got with that last foot of her free fall, she raised her arms up and instead of finding flesh to pierce into, her black blades found nothing but the white sand on either side of Raijin's head. Rou was left in a perfect handstand, her hair blanketing over the other espada's body, becoming even more dirty with the small amount of blood it picked up from Raijin's chest. She smiled brightly at him, giggling like a child, clearly quite proud of herself.
"Neh, did Seaweed Head give up and realize something?" she mused, kicking her legs up in the air and slinging the goop from the hollow around, a good amount of it likely dripping right onto the Segunda's face. With one last kick she sent herself forward, her butterfly swords coming out of the ground as her feet met it. She resheathed them back within her long sleeves with where soon sticking to her hips as she placed her hands there. She stood heroically there, wishing there was some awesome wind to blow her hair which was madly clumped together and probably was far to heavy to be blown by the strongest wind anymore. Still it would have been so perfect. And if there were some big bright light behind her! Sure there was that uniform moon but honestly that didn't provide a whole lot of light. It was for more fitting for some creepy villain. That was something she most definitely was not! Even still she soaked up her victorious moment, looking of into the distance, not focusing on anything, just looking because she figured that was the cool thing to do.
After her little shining moment, Rou looked back down at Raijin, giggling again. She offered a hand down to him, wanting to help him get up out of the sand. "I am doing the heroic thing. Now I am anyway, Princess Seaweed Head" she teased lightly. "Ah yeah, neh, I didn't mean to go and cut you. I thought for sure Seaweed Head was better than that" She had a pout on her face, but not because she felt bad for basically insulting him. She was more asking for forgiveness for actually harming her fellow espada. She had honestly thought he'd be able to dodge her blade easily. She had been holding back even. What had happened was beyond her.
