I DON'T NEED YOUR FUCKING HALO can't you see i'm no one's angel [atrb=style,border-top: 8px solid #333333; border-bottom: 8px solid #333333; border-left: 3px solid #000000; border-right: 3px solid #000000;][bg=7b3636][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true][atrb=width,20%][atrb=vAlign,top]
Boring, boring, BORING! Ugh! Hell had become far too boring for Mars to stand, sure, she had the freedom to leave if she so desired, but she hadn't heard anything interesting happening in the world of the living, so why bother? Of course there seemed to be less to do in Hell too, actually anywhere seemed boring. Maybe she was just being hard to please...
With a frustrated grumble she stalked the lower level of Hell, looking for something, anything that could alleviate her boredom. Even if that other thing happened to be one of the other Sins, at least they were good for some mild entertainment when Mars was truly beyond her wits end; be that entertainment a fight or just getting under their skin and pissing them off. It still was better than dealing with the piss poor excuses of fighters she had been, god, anything was better than that...
She stopped dead in her tracks when she had driven herself crazy with how long she had been walking, and with a loud roar of anger she turned to the nearest rock and started smashing it to pieces. With her strength it didn't take long to completely demolish the solid form that had once stood there, she was so bored she was beating rocks, and that only furthered her anger. Maybe...Maybe if she was loud enough, or caused a big enough scene, maybe something would come her way.
With that thought in mind Mars opened her mouth and let out a loud, bellowing shout of pure rage, one that was loud enough to shake the ground and break a few more rocks in her area. Really it seemed as though she was having a hissy fit, throwing a tantrum because she was bored but she didn't care, as long as this brought her some form of entertainment. |

She wasn't there for any particular reason; it wasn't as if the Kushanada had the power necessary to drag her down, or the will to try any more. She wasn't looking for anything, either. The Sin of Pride had no need of a reason to do anything; she just did what she felt like doing.
Soon though, Leto wanted to go to the World of the Living. Last time she had been there, nothing had caught her interest; it wasn't often that anything did. But at least in the Human World, there were goings on. Here in Hell, it was the same thing, day after day. An endless cycle. For others, it was a cycle of pain and despair. They weren't strong enough to rise up. For Leto, it was merely a cycle. She would break away from it, soon. No, she would break everyone away from it.
Leto could feel a familiar Reiatsu not far off. The crashing sound and yelling made it immediately obvious whom it belonged to. With a sigh, Leto headed off in that direction. She usually didn't associate herself with the other Sins much, but this was just too good a chance to pass up. Messing with angry people was always fun, and who fit the bill better than the Sin of Wrath?
"You're loud." Leto stated plainly, walking up behind Mars. She stopped a few feet away from the other Sin, just in case Mars decided to take a swing at her. Not that it was exactly easy to hit Leto, who was quite possibly, the fastest being in existence. Leto wasn't going to intentionally anger Mars further; she likely wouldn't have to try. She was already expecting an outburst of some sort.

It was a nice day in hell. It was quiet, the weather wasn't too bad, and most importantly, no one was bugging Vilof, the Sin of Sloth. Hell has been like this for awhile now, with more and more people being able to break into the world of the living than before. Hell, he figured there were more Togabito with the living, then there was in the entirety of the depths of Hell, Vilof's favorite place to relax. The World of the Living didn't really appeal much to Sloth. Most of it was swarmed with people, buildings, or animals. There was hardly a quiet place, much less one that just..felt right to him. Not to mention what his spiritual pressure would lead to. It was already hard enough to be free of annoyances in Hell, he couldn't even imagine having Shinigami, Arrancar, and the occasional Togabito on his ass. Besides, Vilof enjoyed the little routine he has gotten himself into. It was simply sleep for a couple of days, kill someone, sleep, talk to someone, sleep, and finally relocate after his resting place was getting a bit too uncomfortable. He was at the end of the cycle right now, just finding someplace absolutely perfect to rest. That is, until he heard the sound of a distant roar, followed by the sound of something smashing and breaking, and finally, the sound of a raging behemoth that echoed in Sloth's ears. It could only be one person who did that on a regular basis, the Sin of Wrath. A small sigh escaped from Vilof's mouth, as he stood up and started to walk away from the sound. That is, until he felt something rather fun. Leto, the Sin of Pride. Her familiar Reiatsu clearing his mind as dreams of massive amounts of entertainment came to refill it. This was too good to pass up. Vilof came to a halt a couple of yards away from the two female Sins, looking between the two as a smile crept up on his lips. "Pride, Wrath." He said, nodding respectively, the smile never leaving his lips. This was going to be so much fun. This was the entertainment he had been looking for! Finally, something that was fun where he, hopefully, wouldn't even have to get involved.

She had been roaring so much she had begun to spew fire off into the air, possibly another thing to alert people to her existance, whether she meant to or not. Her roar was cut off when she felt the first familiar presence, so it seemed her throwing a fit had worked, someone had come to be her plaything. She turned around when she sensed Leto was within eyesight and crossed her arms over her chest. She scoffed, as was her usual start to a good portion of her sentences.
"An' you're a cocky twat, what is this, state the obvious day?" Mars replied in her usual, irritated tone of voice, her mouth still smoking from the fire she had breathed.
Before she could say anymore she felt yet another familiar reiatsu, this one belonging to Vilof, the Sin of Sloth...And for some reason he was smiling? Ugh, she hated smiling. Turning to face him next, a scowl set on her face. She opened her mouth to speak, but instead ended up coughing out a small fire ball in his direction, only the size of a golf ball, but it still wouldn't have been fun to get hit by. It was an after effect that happened normally after she breathed her fire, she was never sure why but she didn't really care.
"Tch, the fuck you smiling for slob? I'm actually shocked you got off yer ass to come all this way." She spat in reply, the smile he wore, god she hated it, well to be fair she hated everything, but smiling was up there on her list.

She hadn't paid any mind to Mars' comeback, or the other Sin approaching; she had felt Vilof’s presence for a long time now. To be honest, Leto had no idea what a "twat" was. She had never bothered to learn human insults, or what half of them meant. She didn't need to resort to words to hurt someone; such things were beneath her. And unless they were very well thought out, and the person insulting her knew a lot about Leto, she could never be hurt by words. Anyone who did get it in their mind to take it that far would die, anyway.
Leto gave Mars a blank, cold stare. "If you have so much time to waste throwing temper tantrums like a child, maybe you should go do something useful." Leto said icily. Even though they had so much power, most of the Sins were still dallying. They could take over the other dimensions if they wanted, but they still stuck around in Hell for the most part. It annoyed her. The only reason Leto herself was still around in Hell, was because she wanted to get the other Sins to leave too, though she would never admit it. She knew there was no point with Sloth, though. She was surprised that he was even here, as Mars had said.
She glanced over at the remnants of the rock Mars had been punching. Honestly, what a bunch of idiots we are... She thought. Of course, they all embodied the worst of the Sins; the ones that ruined lives completely. Still, something felt wrong about what they were doing. When people had power, they should use it, that's what Leto thought.

Sloth's ears rang slightly, Mars' loud voice ringing inside of his head. His smile vanished, as his typical impartial impression came back. It was neither happy, nor sad. Neither angry, nor calm. It was perfectly neutral, the expression of someone who just doesn't care. The only thing Vilof really cares about, is for this to escalate. He really didn't want to wait too long, or spend so much time without much satisfaction.
He quickly fell to the floor, sitting down as the fireball barely grazed over the top of his head. However small it was, the heat still singed a small spot on the top of his head. He sighed softly, half-way ignoring Mars. "I can't help but laugh to myself when I see your face. It's quite funny." Vilof retorted, giving out a loud yawn shortly afterwards. He crossed his arms, spreading out his legs and closing his eyes. This was boring. He was about to fall asleep if nothing happened soon.
He opened his eyes slightly while Leto spoke, glancing at her. "Please, we both know she can't do anything useful. It's like asking a child to understand. It just never happens." He said. Even as he responded to Leto, he couldn't help but look at Mars with a half-open eye. Honestly, he was just trying to provoke Wrath to do something. To do anything. He was just getting too bored, and he didn't want to wait too much longer for something fun to happen. He yawned again, fully laying down, putting his hands behind his head, and closing his eyes. However, his senses remained alert. He figured something would be sent his way.

Gross? How was a fire ball gross? Or was that just Leto being a priss? She didn't honestly give two shits, so she didn't waste much more time on the thought. Instead she focused on what she was told, do something productive? Tch, she hated being told what to do, who died and gave anyone the right to tell Mars what to do?
"I could ask you the same fuckin' question, why the hell aren't you out there doin' shit? An' instead wasting your time down here thinkin' you can tell me what to do?" She scoffed, almost getting in Leto's face, if there was one thing she hated above everything else, it was people who thought they had the right to give her orders; she was a loner, she never worked with a group and she never, ever took orders from anyone.
Then she turned back to Vilof and rolled her eyes, she almost laughed at his attempt at an insult, really, who was the laziest person alive...Well, as alive as he could be considered, to tell her she couldn't be productive? It was laughable, she was sure she did far more on a daily basis than Vilof had done in his entire existence.
"Please, I think you're getting me confused with you, you're the one who does nothing but lounge about all day. Worthless maggot." Mars spat, her arms still crossed over her chest as she spoke, soon she turned around and plopped down on the broken pile of rubble she had created, she didn't feel the need to continue standing. Really she was more interested in hearing Leto's answer than anything the other Sin had to say, she was even considering ignoring him, unless of course he said something that she deemed worthwhile. |

I've already learned much, the world has changed a great deal in the last few decades. But of course, you're too ignorant to really care about that, right? How sad. You're just a waste of space." Leto said, still in the same cold, disinterested tone, though there was an edge to her voice now. She was so disappointed that a beast like this was to be considered her ally. "But of course, I have no real need to justify myself to you. Consider yourself honoured." she said in a haughty manner. Even though Mars was taller than her, Leto was somehow able to make it seem as if she was looking down on the other sin. It was the air around her; how she carried herself.
As if she had lost interest in the two other Sins, Leto turned to leave. If she hadn't already provoked Mars into attacking, she was sure what she was about to say next would. She turned back slightly, glancing at Mars pointedly. "I was the first Sin for a reason. You're nothing compared to me, you would do well to remember that." with that said, she turned and started walking away again, her back to Mars. She knew that something was coming now. It wasn't as if she was so arrogant that she felt that Mars couldn't land a hit on her even with the advantage she had given the other Sin... well that was exactly what it was. But she also knew that such an ungraceful, bumbling fool could never hope to catch her off guard. Her turning away like this was basically an invitation to attack. Yes, attack me and display my superiority. Leto thought, sincerely wishing that she could relay these thoughts to Mars through telepathy or something of the sort. Who knew just how much more mad and unruly the Sin of Wrath could get.
Leto wasn't even all that tense; it almost looked as if she had not even a care in the world. Definitely not the usual demeanour of someone who knew that they were about to be attacked. Then again, it wasn't as if she had to be very alert in this situation. Mars would surely make a lot of noise when she did attack. Lots of yelling, screaming, and other uncouth things. Such things made Leto wonder, if she – Pride – was really a Sin. She didn't do things like that. She was above it all.

Another yawn escaped Vilof's mouth. He was really starting to give up hope on this entire situation. He figured Leto wouldn't be the one to start a fight, and Mars still hadn't even done anything too aggressive. His entertainment was looking like it was disappearing. He sighed softly, sitting up to look at both of the other Sin's. At least Mars was still arguing, hopefully something would come up that would just set her off.
His hope was reignited as he heard Leto's first comment. It was times like this when he actually enjoyed Leto. When she was on his side for providing him entertainment, even if she didn't see it that way. Hell, he could practically kiss her right now. Well, he could, if he wanted to die. That didn't sound too appealing however, so he held back on that rather stupid idea.
His hope then vanished as Leto turned to leave. This was the last chance he had for entertainment, he had to say something. The Sin of Sloth was just about to, before he saw Leto turn around slightly. He shut his mouth, giving her full attention. The words she said made him smile. If nothing happened now, nothing ever would. But, he wasn't going to let the odds just roll. He HAD to add to the flames.
"Did you hear that Mars? Not only is she calling you ignorant, a waste of space, and lowly compared to her, but she's also saying that you're basically dirt beneath her feet. Are you going to take that? She's even leaving herself open." Vilof said, slightly in a mocking tone as he practically repeated everything Leto said, adding his own little spice here and there. Surely, this would send Wrath into a tantrum. And, Sloth really didn't want to be in the danger zone.
He got up after his two bits were said, backing up to a safer place. Sloth didn't want to be near the volcano when it erupted, that was rather unfun. It would kill his current mood. He just wanted to watch the fight, not so much get involved. He just hoped that neither one of the other Sins would drag him into it.

First Sin? Wasn't Mars well older than she? Though, what Mars didn't know was that, despite being in Hell for a longer period, it took Leto far less time to gain her title than Mars. Of course she wouldn't know this, because she never listened to anything going on in Hell, she only slaughtered those around her, so as far as happenings like that she was ignorant...
Now there was another issue, how did the other Sin just assume she'd only been in Hell all this time? Sure, that was true, but still it was assumption! She'd be dammed if she let anyone assume how she spent her days...Even if they just happened to be right...
When Mars saw Leto turn her back she grinned, preparing an attack like the Sin was hoping, but then she stopped in her tracks. Leto turned her back, on the Sin of Wrath, the one who was known for charging into battle at any given time.....Wait...
"Yer badgerin' me...Bitch, ya want a fight next time just fuckin' outright say so!" She scoffed, did that mean she wasn't going to give in and charge the other Sin? Hell no! The fact that Leto was leading her to attack just seemed to piss her off, maybe it was the fact that she didn't just come out and say it, or maybe it was just because Mars was one who was far too easy to anger. She should've figured Leto would never really be the one to start a fight, she wasn't the type.
When Vilof spoke Mars turned to face him and narrowed her eyes, he was being stupid in her mind, cause now to her it seemed like he wanted a fight too. If both wanted to take her on, then fine! She'd oblige the both of them, with a grin her left hand soon became enveloped in fire. Raising it and aiming it at Vilof, she fired off multiple bala sized fire balls in his direction that, if he didn't move soon, would all collide with him and cause some minor burns.
With that finished she gripped the handle of her axe in her right hand and freed it from it's bind at her hip, before she inhaled a deep breath before she charged head first at Leto, swinging her axe in a vertical angle across either shoulder blade once she was close enough. Swinging with enough force to leave a moderate sized cut should the blade make contact, though of course Mars was no idiot and was expecting the attack to be blocked. After all, it was such a simple move..
Which is why, should Leto turn around to block her attack, like Mars had been thinking she would, Mars would release the attack she had been charging in her throat. A fiery breath that could potentially connect head on if Leto blocked the attack rather than just outright dodged all together, of course with Leto's speed she could easily avoid both attacks. But it seemed she hadn't thought that far ahead, or maybe she was the kind of person to cross bridges when she came to them.

She knew what Vilof was trying to do. He wanted them to fight. But of course, there was no way he would get involved, if he could help it. And Mars, she was trying to make herself look smart by not attacking, although it was still quite obvious what would happen next. And it did. As she was walking away, she could smell smoke. Mars must have attacked Vilof already. It was a shame that Mars used the same element as Leto, for the most part. Any fire-based attacks that the Sin of Wrath sent her way would be rendered useless. Leto would see to that.
It was then that Leto heard the heavy footsteps. It wasn't the gait of someone who was simply walking, but someone who was running, probably weighed down by a weapon. Leto already knew what to expect. For a moment, it looked as if the blade of the axe would bury itself in Leto's shoulder. But at the last second, there was a blurred movement and the sound of clashing metal. Leto had turned to face Mars, and raised her left arm to the blade. It looked like a foolhardy move, but somehow, Leto didn't lose her arm. It was her Sinner’s Chain, wrapped all the way up her left arm and concealed under her sleeve that had blocked the axe. She could still feel the pressure of the swing ringing through the chains, but it didn’t bother her too much. She had worn this chain for centuries; she was used to it. Only an extreme crushing force could effect that arm now.
Leto hadn’t been expecting Mars to breathe fire at her right then, and with this close range, Leto didn’t have time to use Innotescendi to redirect it. However, she wasn’t at a loss. Just like she could have easily dodged Mars’ initial, clumsy attack, she could dodge this. The instant she saw the flames come from Mars’ mouth, Leto ducked, low enough that she touched the ground below her with her hands. Now she was in a crouching position below Mars as she was blowing fire right above Leto. She could feel the heat of the flames on her back, but it didn’t bother her. They were in Hell, after all.
Now inside the other Sin’s range, Leto was in a prime position to attack. She wasted no time in springing up towards her with the same speed she had used to dodge the flames. She curled her right hand into a fist and sent it flying at Mars’s chin, all the momentum from her little jump behind the punch. If the punch hit, it would likely send the other Sin flying up in the air. By only using raw speed and hand-to-hand combat instead of her powers, Leto was sending another message; that she didn’t consider Mars enough of a threat to do so. She was quite sure that she could handle Wrath this way; not even using weapons. Her body was the only weapon she needed.

From, time and time again hell burns the souls of the guilty and the forsaken. It knows no mercy to those who are sent here as the denizens satisfy their desires just by torturing the souls of the wicked and the vile. Hell existed during first creation of all things and lived through time immemorial.
Nothing has changed, not a single thing has been shifted, not a rule even broken due to humanity’s faith in what they call “The creator”
~He chuckles
For that this creator has forsaken its Angel Mephistopheles and thus dragged it down to the depths of the fiery chasm where he burns the chaotic to the flames yet didn’t think that the smoke coming out of the burning souls corrupted him and became the manifestation of all that is evil.
~They weren’t aware
Fire undos all of creation and reduce it to ashes but there is one thing that fire cannot burn… will, for that will is the fire, the burning passion to oppress and overthrow the mighty to those who are forsaken.
~Their minds clouded with power yet wasted on childish effort
Perhaps Will was the only thing that remained in him for that he was the father of the 7 exiled angels:
Lucifer the angel of Pride and Authority Mammon the angel of Greed and Restrictment Asmodeus the angel of Lust and Satisfaction Leviathan the angel of Envy and Desire Beezlebub the angel of Gluttony and Hunger Satan the angel of Wrath and Destruction Belphegor the angel of Sloth and Slumber
For whence Mephistopheles desired was nothing more than his own kingdom, but the fiery chasms wasn’t enough and that the income of souls has recently became too low because of the Catholic influence and God’s divine will and mercy to save all from their clutches. There was one time where Mephistopheles laid siege to the gates of heaven, the sanctuary of peace and prosperity till an intervention from the 7 Archangels:
Gabriel, the Sword Michael, the Symbol Raphael, the Healer Uriel, the Guide Selaphiel, the Voice Jegudiel of Gratitude Barachiel, the Lightning
Their powers sealed their defeat and thus force their descent down to the fiery chasms of Hell, the dominion that had cradled them.
Or so that’s what Hamon believed.
~Through deception, there is opportunity They who are supposed to bring chaos and discord to the world, they who sit idly waiting for their false hope and order, they who only observe and let loose their scent and influence has not caused the wishes of the seven fallen angels and the children of he of all that is evil, he who is cursed to endure and to choke in the fire.
The mediums, or so Hamon described are what they call…..
Sins….
~His eyes filled with desire
fated vessels and manifestations and the rivals of the seven virtues themselves. Bored, those who barely have a purpose as a medium to what they really are.
~His Blood boils in rage
A horribly sight to see something that isn’t even worth gazing upon, no matter how strong they seem, the mediums are nothing more than worms to Hamon.
~His heart filled with pride
Unlike them Hamon is slowly plotting, planning and aiming for what the devil himself wished for all these years, turning the world of the living into his kingdom or known as “Hell on Earth” In order to make that a reality he must have power over the Sins but was impossible to accomplish.
~His ambition still slumbers
His respect crushed just by seeing what the children of the Sins are doing, they are committing a sin against a sin which is making the world peacefully just by remaining in this desolate place.
~He lusts for power
they are confused, lost, cold and hungry for a purpose yet they are divided and relied on each other’s will, will that must be controlled.
~He Hungers for authority
~So they be tools to realize his selfish goals. There were known to be three parties, the Shinigami, the Espada, the Consecro, three forces that aren’t to be reckoned with and all are hostile to each other. So are the Sins themselves and as a Togabito, Hamon must at least show some signs of activity and contribution to his organization. It’s finally decided that he proposed this plan to Pride, talking this plan to his master Mars or Wrath is utterly useless because all that she does is complain, insult and spit his plan to his face and hax him with an axe. As soon as he finally returned to hell he was greeted by a loud noise, obviously his master Wrath. He isn’t too surprised, there is no such thing as a day without her causing havoc.
Hamon has watching from the cliff as a battle between Pride and Wrath was about to begin. Because of wrath’s insolence and impatience Hamon might have lost the opportunity to propose his plan to Pride because of having the most barbaric image of being the pet of a mad woman.
But who knows? Pride might actually listen to Hamon this time around. After hearing how bored they are, it’s only natural that they are opened to new ideas. That is if the battle ends. Hamon however is imperatively ashamed of Wrath for being childish and acting like a brute. Just one stare in the eye completely provokes her. She’s insecure, sensitive, her pride easily crushed, a person who can’t take a joke, one whose patience dies out like a candle light. Hamon watched carefully as Pride and Wrath battle it out in order to satisfy their hunger of boredom. Seeing as how Sloth was sitting there like a fat duck it’s obvious he started it. He’s pathetic… but in a good way.

I DON'T NEED YOUR FUCKING HALO can't you see i'm no one's angel [atrb=style,border-top: 8px solid #000000; border-bottom: 8px solid #000000; border-left: 3px solid #000000; border-right: 3px solid #000000;][bg=7b3636][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true][atrb=width,20%][atrb=vAlign,top]
It was obvious that Mars was outmatched in the speed department; even she knew that, she wasn’t a complete moron. So she expected to take quite a few blows during the fight. She was prepared to take the punch, as obviously it came without a chance for her to react, as a result she was sent flying back into a large rock off in the far distance. She stood up and brushed the rock dust off of her face; her eyes glowed with a fiery determination that could be seen even at her distance. Mars never claimed to like any of the other Sins, and only respected the power the possessed albeit that was rarely known or shown at any point in time. Yet despite that sliver of respect for their powers, Mars was still rather baffled as to the reason why Leto managed to become known as their leader.
Mars had been in Hell for at least five centuries longer than Leto, so how is it that SHE was proclaimed their leader? How did she know how much longer she had been down here than the other Sin? Truth be told she was guessing at that, given that she hadn’t heard a damn thing of the other woman’s existence in this flaming pit during those five hundred years, but on the other hand Mars was never really interested in the happenings of Hell, so for all she knew Leto could have been there for about the same length of time as her or longer. It was when she kept hearing the name over and over again had she really begun to pay attention, if only for the interest of a challenge.
And a challenge it was, Mars and Leto rarely ever fought, mostly due to the other Sin usually ignoring her whenever Mars confronted her with a battle challenge, but when they did fight Mars had never won one single battle they had. Obviously it pissed her off to no end. So she was damned and determined to finally kick this cocky bitch’s ass eventually, even if the end result was that she wound up too broken to move after. With that burning resolve she charged forward, her speed was impressive but obviously nothing when compared to the faster woman she was barreling for. It would look like Mars was charging in for another frontal attack; she hadn’t made any move to change her direction on the ten feet mark as she closed in on her target. She didn’t until she was five feet within Leto’s view. That was when she seemed to have vanished. Now Leto would most likely have no problem keeping up with her movements, but Mars wasn’t really concerned about that right now, she was hoping that perhaps she would throw the woman off.
She was now three feet behind and four feet above Leto, and falling downwards with enough time to charge a fireball in her hand and throw it at her before she took a chance to swing her scythe downward in a vertical angle from Leto’s right shoulder down as she fell. Mars was prepared for the other Sin to counter, as she had been charging her fire breath for such the occasion. However if Leto simply dodge the attacks, Mars would be on high alert and would be expecting an attack from anywhere though more specifically her back. If Leto wound up behind Mars she would use her fire breath in an attempt to counter or even stave off Leto’s attack. Though this focus drew her thoughts away from guarding her sides; leaving an opening for the other Sin to possibly exploit.

She had known from the start that her strike would land, so there was no element of surprise when it inevitably did. She watched Wrath impassively as she got back up to her feet, unimpressed by her force of will. It was all for nothing; Mars could never beat Leto. Leto was the God of Hell, and the other Sin was but an angel. Though she hardly behaved like one.
Leto had known for a while now, the other Sin's doubt in her. Many of the other Sins were much older than Leto; their experience in Hell was far greater than hers. And yet she was proclaimed as a Sin first? She was the one who was said to lead them; the beacon of light, or perhaps darkness itself? She knew that the other Sins had trouble accepting this, but she did not care. There was but one key reason. "I am a God." she said in a level tone. Mars might not hear it from where she was, but Leto didn't care if she heard it or not. She didn't even seem like she was boasting; merely stating a fact, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Mars could not defeat a God. You can get back up a hundred times, but you'll never defeat me. Leto thought. The condescending way she looked at her opponent said it just as well. This had actually happened a few times in the past. Mars would challenge her, but she barely was ever even able to land a single blow on the Sin of Pride. The result would always be the same.
Leto simply stood where she was even as Wrath was closing in on her fast. She could follow the other Sin's movements, so there really was no need to act until the last second. This was another way Leto toyed with her opponents. Letting them get close to her, seeming unresponsive, and then vanishing right as their attack was about to land. Mars was probably familiar with this method of hers by now. And yet, knowing Leto's fighting style in no way helped her predict the Sin's moves.
Leto barely batted an eyelash when Mars disappeared, expecting the standard "surprise attack from behind". To her observation, the spiritual beings used such methods frequently. It may have been a surprise centuries ago, but now it was just old news. Leto didn't find it particularly impressive or well thought out at all.
Her senses told her that fire was being used again. Didn't Mars get it? Leto would make her understand. She raised her chained arm to block Mars' scythe again. At the same time, Wrath's fireball exploded mid-flight. It seemed entirely random; obviously Mars hadn't done it.
Anyone who knew of Leto's abilities would be able to guess what had taken place. Using paths of oxygen in the air, she had created a flammable oxidizer in front of the fireball at the very time it had reached a four metre distance from Leto. This had caused the explosion. Said explosion was mild at best, so it wasn't likely to have any effect on either combatant. Leto herself didn't show any reaction to it. The smoke cleared quickly and again, a harsh ringing sword rang through the valley as metal collided with Leto's chain once again.
Leto looked up at Mars above her through uncaring orange eyes. Her arm was still holding the blade at bay, but it was slowly getting pushed down. Though she would never admit it, Wrath's physical strength exceeded her own. It didn't matter though; Leto didn't plan to just stay like that for long. A telltale shimmering in the air announced the presence of her "Hands of Fate"; shadowy arms that vibrated at high enough frequencies that they could slice through rock. Now two of these vectors snaked towards Mars' face; aiming to grab her. If they did get a hold of her head, it could cause some serious implications. Letting the equivalent of two chainsaws get near your face was never a good thing, so Leto assumed that Mars would back off. Even if she did try to attack again, Leto had two more Vectors that she could use to defend herself with, not to mention her own speed with which she could evade Wrath's assault.

Mars noticed that she was gradually pushing down Leto’s arm which was holding back the blade of her axe and smirked triumphantly, she knew if she kept at it then she would eventually break through on brute force alone, however she noticed the shimmering and instantly her smirk was gone. Before the vectors even appeared Mars had pulled her axe back and jumped backwards away from Leto, she knew how dangerous those things could be, she wasn’t a moron despite how she might have seemed to the others. Once she was a safe distance away from Leto for the moment she scoffed, her axe arm dropped to her side and she growled lowly. She’d love nothing more than to tear this bitch to shreds where she stood, and she would, eventually; with time she would surpass Leto even if she died multiple times in the process.
”You honestly think you’re top shit? Do you even realize where you are you stupid bitch? You’re in Hell! You’re constantly surrounded by a bunch of twats who wound up here because they did things so reprehensible that they couldn’t go anywhere else. So what, just because you’ve gotten powerful it means you’re no longer one of them? News flash you cunt, you’re no better than the scum that prowl down here, so get your head out of your goddamn ass and look around; you’re just another piece of trash that was discarded because she was too impure to save.” Did she care if her words did anything to Leto? No, because she knew the odds were that nothing she said would even affect the Sin, but damn did she need to say it. Not that Mars held her tongue anyway, but today she was in even more of a nasty mood than she usually was. So even though she knew the other Sin could just sit idly by and take all that without flinching, she still went off anyway. However, she only assumed that Leto wound up here via the usual method, for that was the only way she knew how. She was only going off of the knowledge she had, she didn’t know nor care about Leto’s past.
She was going to rush forward again but she recalled those vectors, she had to get rid of them first before it was even safe to get in close, thinking a moment before she got an idea. Yes, fire seemed to do little good, and Leto was too fast to outdo with speed alone, but she had to try something to disable those damn vectors. So, she looked to the nearby rubble from the rock she had made earlier, a medium sized rock about the size of a baseball. She picked it up from the pile of rubble and, using all of her strength, she threw the rock at one of the vectors. Now, odds were the rock would just get cut up by them, but it was buying her enough time to at least think of other ways around those annoying pieces of shit.
(( OOC: Go for the auto-KO now ))
