Kasia found herself at first just waving her hands at her side to the rhythm of the song playing in her ears and likely playing to anyone within a good five feet. She was never one to play her music quietly after all. It didn't take long before she had a hop in her step to carry her gracefully over the side walk. Then she was sliding her feet, adding a swaying motion to her hips with each step. She even the proceeded to step backwards, making people walk around her with annoyed faces. Her hands found themselves in the air as they waved around in time with her steps, causing her to whip herself in the face with the cord that attached her mp3 player and her headphones. It wasn't the cord that was successful in reminding her of just where she was though.
She was just getting to the instrumental, techno section of the current song, and it was clear by the way she was simply dancing in the middle of the sidewalk with more vigor than ever. She had her head down, swinging it from side to side, the long sections of her hair in the front waving it around her as her petite frame moved ever so gracefully. Then as the singing started back again she let out a long "♫Haa... Dancing to a dream♫" She spun around as she did so, just in time for some one that was trying to avoid the strange girl to instead walk straight into her instead, sending Kasia flailing right down to the ground.
Her headphones hit the ground, leaving Kasia in a now musicless world at which point she fully realized what she had just been doing. She wasn't one to be all that ashamed of anything she did, though she was shy enough to have a deep blush coming to her cheeks now. She stayed on her hands and knees a moment longer, staring right at the ground, wishing she could just sink into it.
She ignored the man that had run into her when he stopped in front of her, probably looking a bit worried. Kasia wouldn't know. She refused to look up at this point. She was utterly embarrassed. Soon enough she saw those feet take a few steps back, slowly turning around as the man likely gave up on trying to help the girl up She watched his feet disappear, waiting until she lost site of them completely in another crowd before she slowly sat up.
Slowly but surely she backed up from her place in the middle of the sidewalk, pretending to be sly. She didn't stop until she felt her back hit a wall, which she relaxed against. Looping her headphones around the back of her neck, she played her music again, not turning it down one bit but no daring to get up and start dancing again. She would just wait it out until she was sure she could get up and not see anyone that had just seen her fall on her face. She could totally play off just being cool and sitting outside of a....Kasia looked up to a glass door beside her, reading the letters printed across it. "BAIT SHOP" ....Okay so maybe it was a bit harder now. She could totally play off just being cool and sitting outside of a bait shop. Maybe there was some awesome sale inside. She could have been dragged out by her grandfather. Nobody would ever know. At least no one that hadn't been there to see her tumble. Surely they'd be moving on though...right?

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
Footsteps drowned together in his ears. The busy sidewalk was filled with people, and Takeshima couldn’t stand it. People to his left and right. He closed his eyes and reached up, tugging on the collar of his dress shirt, loosening his tie slightly. His eyes flickered up and looked at the path in front of him, free of people in his way. Takeshima’s left hand went to his pocket and produced his lighter and pack of cigarettes. In a few swift movements he had the cigarette lit, and the pack and lighter back in his pocket.
Takeshima’s day so far had been uneventful. He had been hunting something, and it vanished. Without a trace. The rest of his day was spent perfecting ginto techniques, which had been a rather boring and repetitive process. So now here he was, on his way home to do nothing but sit. He inhaled deeply and looked up, letting the smoke fill his lungs before it bellowed out of his mouth in a steady stream. Behind him he heard a grunt of disgust, and without missing a beat, he sighed out with the little bit of smoky air in him. “Bite me,” He said, holding the cigarette carefully between his lips.
His stroll was pretty normal, although not that much later, ahead of him he saw someone dancing like a lunatic to a song that only she could hear. As she drew closer it appeared she was in the same walking lane as Takeshima. Shima reached up and discarded the burned out cigarette and stepped it out as he continued his walk.
As she drew ever closer he fluidly stepped to her right, but she just so happened to be pirouetting in that very direction. They collided and he reached out. He missed catching her, although it seemed she didn’t want to be caught. “I’m sorry.” he said as first, leaning forward and extending his hand. “Hello?” He asked for her attention and waited. There was still no reaction from her. He waited another second and slowly pulled his hand back. “Fine, stay there.” He said as he turned on his heel and walked away, his eyes looking up along the signs of the shops. After walking for a while he made a right and disappeared for a little.
He came back out of the shop holding a bottle of Ramune soda, before he began walking back in the direction he was heading before. He counted his steps and opened his drink. Shima leaned his head back and swished it, eliminating the taste of the cigarette from his mouth. As his pace continued his eyes flicked to the side, and he saw the girl moved against a wall. He sighed and looked down at his drink, and closed his eyes. “Just keep moving, yeah, keep moving.” He said as he began to walk past her. And then he stopped.
“Damn it.” Shima murmured before he turned and moved to the girls side before he sat down beside her, taking another sip of his drink, before he held the bottle out. “Are you alright? Would you like a sip?” He asked as he listened to her loud music. He could tell that he definitely wasn't into the type of music she was. “I didn't mean to knock you down.” He explained, “You kind of spun into me. are you alright?” He asked, not realizing he repeated the question. They were walking awfully close to eachother. Had she seen their hands brush? Oh god maybe they were together! They had to be! No boys looked that good without being at least a little bit bi. And they looked so happy together! Kasia's face lit up in another deep blush, not because she was embarrassed this time, but instead because of the naughty thoughts running through her head. Which one of them was the seme? Were they loud lovers? Did they ever do it secretly in school? How big were their....
"Are you alright? Would you like a sip?"
Wait what? Kasia, turned her head form the direction the boys had went, looking up to see a face that seemed familiar. She blinked up at him a few times with a confused face before it dawned on her. Those were some nice pants. Her unnaturally pink eyes looked down, eyeing his shoes. Oh god it was him, the man she had run..well danced into. She let her head fall with a sigh. She was really hoping to never have to see him again, yet here he was, suddenly back again of his own accord. He was even good looking when Kasia peeked up. That made it even more embarrassing!
"I-um yeah I'm fine" She rubbed the back of her head, putting on a nervous smile. She gave a shake of her head to his offered drink as well. Maybe that was all he needed to know? Maybe he'd leave with that? Yeah that was an easy assumption.
"So, yeah I'm sorry about that. I got a little...er...swept off my feet. You're alright too right?" GAH! why was she asking him questions?! Hadn't she wanted him to move on so her embarrassing torture could be over? Why did he have to be a handsome guy?! of course she would make him stick around! Kasia mentally kicked herself for her weakness to anyone remotely good looking, though on the outside she kept up her calm smile, though her blush did seem to return full force. She was so totally not cool.
Despite her denial before, Kasia lowered her head and reached up to accept the bottle he had offered to her, bringing it as close to her lips as she dared. His own lips had been on it! She couldn't accept some indirect kiss! That'd be so much more embarrassing. Without letting the bottle touch her own lips, she tilted her head back, pouring some of its contents into her mouth, before standing it up straight again and swallowing. Her goal was really to just try and shut herself up as she handed the bottle back up to the man.
She suddenly realized her headphones were still blasting music. She felt around quickly, shuffling around until she could get her hand into the tight pocket of her jeans to pause her mp3 player, probably looking like a flailing mess. Why did girls have to luck out when it came to decent pockets?! "Sorry that was rude of....me" there she went again! She just couldn't seem to keep her mouth shut. This time she wasn't exactly secretive about scolding herself, dropping her head to lightly collide with her hand.
"My name is Kasia. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir" she halfway moaned out, holding out her free hand to him to shake hands. She figured she might as well have introduced herself. There was no way she was going to be able to stop now. Rubbing her temples she lifted her head up, giving the man another nervous smile. Oh he probably thought she was so weird!

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
Shima heard her voice and he nodded. “I’m glad to hear it.” He told her, closing his eyes, not noticing that she had declined his drink offer. Instead, he began to analyze her voice slightly. She seemed a little flustered with him, which he caught by the slight ‘um’ she gave him. He hadn’t said anything embarrassing had he? He just asked if she wanted a sip of his drink, and if she was alright? And she had just said she was alright.
She spoke again and he opened his eyes, looking over to her. “Yeah, I’m fine.” He told her nodding. There was a slight pause before he looked up. “I assure you it was my fault. I should’ve been paying more attention, and stepped to the other side.” She seemed flustered again, although this time, not just her voice was a little unsure. Her face had begun to take on reddish tint. He smiled a little bit, and then turned his head away, letting his face take on it’s usual half-frown.
He felt the bottle being liberated from his hand and he let it slip freely from his hand into hers. Once the bottle was free, he stretched up and out and he realized how close he was to doing the lame, stretch into arm around neck gimmick, so he made sure to bring his arms straight down. He turned his head over and watched as she waterfalled the drink into her mouth, instead of pressing her lips against the rim of the bottle. Was she a germaphobe? Then again, he doubted she’d sit on the sidewalk against a bait shop. He snapped back to things when he noticed the drink in front of him. He reached forward and accepted it back and set it down to his left, on his free side.
Suddenly she began moving a lot, with some purpose. She seemed to be searching for her music player to turn off the loud electronic noises blasting through her headphones. "Sorry that was rude of....me" “You’re fine hun.” He told her, “I love Skrillex.” There was a pause as he looked out. “I’m lying. I have no idea who your music was, and I don’t like Skrillex, or most techno, but you can listen to what you want.” He told her.
“Kasia.” He repeated. “That’s a pretty name.” He told him. “Takeshima.” He told her as he reached over and took her hand. “You can call me Shima if you’d like. It’s a bit more natural to say.” He told her, he looked at her rubbing her temples again, and his lips perked up into a half smile again. “You know, you’re an interesting one.” He pushed his hands against the ground to posture up against the wall, and his hand reached over to pick up his bottle. He lifted up to his lips and lifted the bottle. After a second he lowered it, swallowing the soda and setting it back down. His left hand searched his pocket again and he pulled out his cigarettes, kind of sliding them out so they couldn’t be seen, letting them slide to the ground, although the lighter hit kind of loudly.
“You uhm..” He paused again and turned his head to face her. For a second he thought about asking her and then his face turned a little red. “Never mind.” He said as he gently grabbed his cigarettes and lighter, keeping them in his hands. The urge he just had to smoke vanished, and instead he just wanted to talk. He slowly began to rise to his feet and quickly pushed his smokes into his pockets. He leaned down and grabbed his drink and then extended his hand. “Maybe you would like to come with me and grab something to drink, or eat?” He asked her.

That wasn't... Ah so he was just going along with whatever he thought she had been listening to. So it seemed they didn't exactly like the same music, at all by what the male told her. Though she liked a bit of everything. As long as he wasn't listening to Medieval Plain Chant she was sure they had at least some similliar taste. You just didn't know about some people though. She got to know a little bit more about this person though.
'Shima.." she said in her mind, getting used to the name he gave her. It wasn't long before she was sidetracked though, picking up on his comment that she was...interesting? Oh god he really did think she was some kind of nutcase didn't he? Who wouldn't? She had danced right into him earlier, ignored him and opted to stay crouched on the sidewalk, and now she was back to being her awkward self that was common for her when she first met somebody. "Ah..yeah...I guess I am...sorta interesting or whatever" Yup she still had it. She looked elsewhere as he spoke to her, doing her best not to blush again. She was mostly successful save for a light dusting of pink on her cheeks.
She looked back his way when he began to say something else. Did he have a blush on now? Kasia tilted her head in confusion, wondering what all that was about. It seemed she wouldn't get to know though. She was quickly met with a 'Nevermind'. For some reason she felt oddly disappointed by that. Give Takeshima a soft "Oh" as she went back to looking in the direction she had before, letting her eyes settle on the people just inside the glass door of the bait shop. He was even getting up now. So much for her striking mood to get to know this person. She hung her head some, resting it upon a drawn up knee.
Then a hand was suddenly at her eye level. She looked up at Takeshima as he gave his offer, looking a bit shocked to put it lightly. Her eyes were large, blinking a few times with her mouth hanging open slightly. "Ah...u-um...well uh..." She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to calm herself down. She needed to be cool! "Yeah. That sounds good....Shima" she said his shortened name aloud this time, giving it a minute to roll off her tongue. She reached up, taking his extended hand to pull herself up. She swung her backpack over her shoulders, tucking her headphones back over the top loop as she did so. She didn't even realize it herself but a smile was creeping onto her lips, not the shy one she had before, though she did still blush. It seemed a lot more happy.
"So you said you didn't really like techno or anything..." She stated, trying to start up a form of conversation. Nothing was worse than walks with awkward silences plaguing them. She figured she could make up for her prior lack of outgoing, friendly nature now. "What do you like to listen to then?" She looked up to him again, a gloved hand, brushing back some of her bangs she hadn't bothered to take care of before. Her eyes held genuine curiosity behind the pink veil of her contacts. It didn't really take her that long to warm up to anyone. For some reason she could just sense the both of them had something in common, yet she didn't know what it was yet. Maybe it was as simple as music. Maybe not.

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
Shima gave a warm and gentle smile when the girl’s eyes widened, and her face held a surprised look to it. When she said his name he he nodded, letting her know that was fine. She was adorable. When she took his hand he offered steady support to help her rise. He wondered if she’d notice how tired his smile was. He seemed so fatigue, with slight bags under his eyes, which could almost march the slightly downturned corners of his smile.
When she was level with him, his fatigued smile lifted just a bit more. She was smiling, and her blush made it so Shima’s smile wouldn’t be fading anytime soon. When she began to speak he turned, only slightly though. He opened in a direction where he was signalling what direction they would go. He figured he would set a pace for them once they started. Takeshima also listened intently to her question, and he closed his eyes. “What kind of music do I like?” He responded. It was just something to give him a moment to think. “I don’t really like music, actually. I try, but most of what I listen to is tasteless.” He let out a gentle sigh, and a small frown covered his face. Takeshima couldn’t help but wonder if his sadness would push her away. He decided to give her some answer though. “I do like music with screams. I like Envy. There are some American bands I like to. I think I like them more though, but I think Envy is a good band.” He said to her, wondering if that speech seemed a little forced. Not many people had spoken to him just to speak with him. Then again, he normally doesn’t let it, and later on in the day, he’d question why he had stopped. He was even humoring her question. He paused and began taking a few steps.
“Well, Kasia,” He quickly thought of a possibly impersonal question and began “What do you do..” Then he paused, and realized that was vague.” Uhm, right now,” Another pause, so that Takeshima could take a breath and slow down his nervous speech. “Do you go to school?” He finally managed to get out. He felt like a wreck suddenly. He questioned what was making him act like nervous. There was a small sigh and frown as he thought to himself.
Takeshima’s eyes perked up slightly and breathed in through his nose. Where should they go to eat? He knew of a small coffee shop not too far from them. Sandwiches were simple but a nice small meal, weren’t they? Of course he could ask her. He turned his head, and spoke, unsure if he was cutting her off, He had been listening if she spoke, but he wanted to make sure he would be doing what she wanted if she had a specific place.
“Hey, sorry, I was just wondering if there’s any place in particular you’d like to go, and I can pay, and everything. I don’t mind.” He paused, and exhaled. He probably didn’t need to say all of that. “Sorry.” His voice seemed a little lower. He was mostly apologizing for acting a little odd. He normally wasn’t. At least he didn’t think so.

She could tell already that maybe he really didn't want to follow through with his offer. His words sounded so forced, and he didn't exactly look happy..like at all. Just to have something to do so he didn't notice that look on her face, she reached into her back pocket, pulling out her cellphone, being sure to look a only it for the next moment or so as she walked alongside him, texting her mother she'd be running late getting home, going out with a friend. The friend might have been pushing it though.
She looked back up when Takeshima began to say...well something. He sounded so nervous, always adding something on to what he had said before. Finally he got something out, looking even worse than before. Maybe she shouldn't have taken him up on his offer. Even then he had been nervous. Oh well, it was too late to go back now. Kasia smile, hoping maybe if she acted nice then he'd be able to calm down some.
"Yeah I'm still just in high school. Its my last year though so once summer comes I'm not sure what I'll be doing. My mom doesn't really make me work so I can probably just be like any other bum then, not really doing anything. Maybe go to a few concerts here and there. It sounds fun and all that..." her voice died down slowly, becoming more and more slow paced as that radiating mood from Shima engulfed Kasia herself even more. Maybe it was a time to just be kind of quiet now? She at least had to stop talking about herself.
"So um...What is it that you..?-" She was about to ask what he did. He looked older than her, probably have his own career by now, or the start of one. However she was cut short by his next string of speech that sounded jumbled together and forced. Her smile falter a bit and she turned her gaze away from him, instead looking in the opposite direction at the different shop fronts, pretending to be window shopping, looking at signs like she was looking for a place to eat. Really anything to make him not notice the worry in her eyes was fine. "Um no..I don't really have any preference" she stated. "If you had anything in mind I'm sure that it would be fine".
Then she heard that sorry and her head fell forward, hiding her eyes from view with her bangs. She stopped her steps right there in the middle of the sidewalk, not caring that the people that had been behind them complained not so quietly too themselves. Kasia could tell he was having a hard time already and now it was clear he knew it too. Maybe this really wasn't such a good idea after all. She didn't want to just force some one into something they didn't want to do. She offered, raising her head up with what she hoped wasn't to obviously fake of a smile."You know...like...I'm sure you had plans or something. I mean you were totally out for some reason or another right?" She began rambling, his nervousness seeming to transfer right over to her. "So if you want to get back to that its like totally fine you know? I don't really want to get in the way of anything. Maybe some other time?" She began to back up, fully aware that if she left now there wouldn't be some other time since all she knew was a name, no number or workplace or address.

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima nodded and let out a gentle sigh. His eyes closed, and for a second, his features softened. There was a calm and natural presence on his face. When he opened his eyes he turned his head. His lips pushed into a gentle smile and he looked to her. “I won’t lie to you..” He said slowly. “I’m just not really good at talking to people. Especially initiating conversations and telling people about myself.” His hands dug into his pocket casually, and his smile began to fade into a straight face. “I’d really like to go to this coffee house I know with you.” He told her. “And we both seem to be getting a little flustered with ourselves. So maybe we should both take a small breath, and relax.”
There was a small inhale before he looked up, turning his gaze from her. “I can tell you what I do. You were about to ask I think.” He closed his eyes. “I work a little at a shop. Nothing really special, I get by pretty well.” he explained to her. “Now my passion!” His voice picked up, however it had taken a slightly sarcastic tone. “I really love hunting evil spirits.” Shima lowered his eyes and took a small step forward and he turned to face her, since she had stopped. There was a small pause and Shima looked to her, with a slightly questioning look.
“Well, is there anything in particular you’d like to know about me. I know I seem like an odd guy. And you may not want to just go out with someone you don’t know, especially someone like me.” He said. “I mean, you’re a cute girl, and you’re the one, who probably could be doing a lot of other things, instead of getting a bite with a lone..” He paused his word and inhaled. “With a boring guy.
Takeshima was back to feeling like his self. He wanted a cigarette again, he was talking slightly more than he usually did, then again, talking to this girl was already odd for him. But he no longer felt different. He pulled his hands out of his pockets, and there was a second before he made a move. He took a step towards her and turned, as he had before. He was standing abreast to her, and nodded forward. “And we can get moving to. I wouldn’t want to take up all your time.”

Kasia eyed his smile and felt her own returning. He seemed to not be nearly as bad now. Maybe she had just started off a bit tioo strong? Made him uncomfortable? Still though...he seemed more calm, much more natural with that soft smile gracing his features. She couldn't help but feel all of her ever present joy return to her. Kasia took his advice though, taking in a deep breath through her nose and letting it out, relaxing every part of her body. She lifted her head up, giving Takeshima a nod of her approval. "A coffee house sounds nice" she answer, flashing him an extra cute smile of happiness.
Kasia resumed her walk, catching up to his side in no time. She listened to him talk about his job, something catching her interest there. "Chasing after bad spirits huh? That sounds pretty dangerous" she mused, arching a brow with a playful smile. If only he had any idea just how it was fighting evil spirits. Kasia hadn't met anyone like herself ever. She was sure this guy was just someone who watched a few too many exorcism or ghost hunting shows. There was no way he saw the same things she did. From what she understood it was extremely rare, as in about 1 in every five zillion people she ever saw. Surely one wouldn't just stumble upon her and ask her out for a meal. That'd be way too easy. Strange things happened though.
She looked up at him through the corner of her eyes, giggling softly. "I don't think you're all that odd. At least not that much weirder than anyone else." she explained, shrugging her shoulders. "Isn't everyone just a little bit odd anyway? I mean who dances on the sidewalk by themselves right?" she found herself blushing again, remembering that had been rather embarrassing. Still though it was true. She was a rather odd one herself.
"And anyone who hunts down evil ghosts can't be a boring guy. I mean....like right over there" she pointed to the other side of the street to a place where no one was standing, pretending she saw a ghost. Oddly enough to her there was some one standing there, one of those people with the chains on their chest. Soon enough those guys in black would show up and take care of it though. "That ghost must be terrified of you walking around all big and strong and scary~~" of course it wasn't but she could certainly act like her 'imaginary' ghost did in fact tremble in fright by just the fact that Shima was close to it. She laughed softly after, covering her mouth, before leaning forward and 'pretending' to wave to the spirit who didn't seem to pay her much mind, something she secretly pursed her lips at. Too bad not all spirits could be all nice and friendly.
It never occurred to her that he'd be able to see it too. She just kept on walking like nothing was so strange about her just so happening to point to a clear spirit that Shima would be sure to identify as such. "So where is this coffee shop anyway?" she asked curiously, straightening up and looking around for a sign that would indicate their destination.

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
Takeshima looked at her smile and he let off a smaller one, although it was genuine, which is something most people didn’t see from him. She spoke about what he said he did and he nodded. “Oh it’s really dangerous, I’ve got many scars. There’s some tough spirits out there.” He told her honestly, nodding his head. He wondered what she thought. She probably just thought he was being cute. Just some guy who had an overactive imagination. He began thinking too much, then, suddenly her giggle brought him back to the real world.
“Someone who has fun.” He told her “I’m pretty dull. I’m lifeless. You, you’re interesting. You’re not weird, you’re eccentric.” He told her. Takeshima looked over in time to catch her blush and he giggled. “You’re really cute when you blush. I hope you know.” He told her as his head turned back forward. His senses were acting oddly, he could swear he could feel a hollow. He could smell it in the air, but no matter how much he moved, it was still near him, yet faint. He had to be missing something.
“Over there?” He asked with a chuckle slowly turning his head. His heart dropped a half inch as he stared at the chained spirit, it’s chains gradually dissipating. “Demi...” He whispered as his left hand began to gather reishi. He slowed, letting her continue walking. As the weapon formed, the possibility formed completely, and he thought about it. Was it her? Did she smell of the hollow? It was possible she was.. He heard her question and lifted his hand up. “Oh, hang on, I have to use my mystical bow and arrow to kill this evil spirit.” He told her as he lifted his right hand, grabbing the string and pulling it back.
Part of him hoped she could see this, and part of him wished she thought he was just being silly, but he let go, and the arrow flew straight, piercing the demi-hollow’s throat. The sound it gave was awful as the spirit began to fade. The gurgled cry. He turned and began walking, had she turned to see him, he would be walking past her, and if she hadn’t, he would be catching up to her now.
“The shop.” He said, no longer bringing up the hollow. If she wanted to talk about it, she could. “It’s around the corner up ahead, a little ways down from the cigarette vending machine.” He told her nonchalantly. “I hope it doesn’t bother you either, but I do smoke a little. If you don’t like that, I won’t do it in your company.” He told her with a slight nod of his head, wondering if she’d bring up the hollow soon.
He just kept his ears open, and he continued to smell that faint scent of hollow. He shook it off as they approached the coffee house. He reached the door and held it open, letting her enter first, simply saying, “After you.”

Then she realized how silly she sounded even to herself. She figured he was just trying to be a show off of some kind, talking about battle scars. Though to be honest that didn't sound like something some one like him would do. Of course she had just met him just a short time ago. What did she know? A lot of guys liked to make things up to make themselves seem tough to girls. Besides she had other things to ficus on.
"You're certainly not dull so far. And if you were so lifeless I doubt you'd be being such a gentleman and taking me for a bit to eat~" she tried, nudging him lightly in the side, raising one of her gloved fists into the air, waving it at him playfully as if to say that she'd just knock that thought out of his head. But then he found a way to surprise her again, saying she looked cute, and even when she blushed. Oh god that was a wonderful way to bring that blush back onto her cheeks. She might have been eccentric and seemed like she was so used to things like that but it still didn't take a whole lot to get her flustered. Her fist opened up and she ran it back through her hair as she looked forward, hoping he didn't notice her blush. It seemed he had gotten preoccupied with something anyway. Killing an evil spirit or something.
Wait...what? Kasia stopped in her tracks, turning around slowly. Surely he was just playing along right? He had to be. Then she saw what was some kind of glowing bow appear, sensing the reiatsu that made up its structure. Shima then pulled it it back and not a moment later an arrow was released from it, flying right at the spirit she had seen and pointed out. Her mouth dropped as she tried to shout out some form of no, but she found that her throat had gone dry and silent. She heard that awful cry of pain. It echoed in her head a few times before she slowly turned her head. She suddenly became a little bit paler, her eyes wide and brows furrowed. She watched as the spirit faded into nothing but dust that was carried off in the air. Her face held true sorrow and horror. That was just some spirit. It hadn't become some monster yet. If it had....then she would have understood but...it wasn't even given a chance.
Shima just carried on like nothing had happened though. He lowered his arms and just went on walking, answering her question which she had already forgotten by this time. He walked right past her, probably expecting her to be right at his side in the next few seconds so they could continue on. It took her a moment but she managed to blink, realizing she couldn't just stand there. She turned on wobbly legs, slowly taking a few steps before speeding up to catch up to her guide. She didn't look up at him, just shaking her head. "I don't care if you smoke" she said plainly, shrugging her shoulders. She twirled her hair around a finger, not really paying much attention for the next few moments. All she heard was that scream from earlier.
"After you"
She looked up, seeing that they had reached where they were going. She blinked a few times before it came to her to actually walk inside. Even still she seemed a bit spacey as she did so, just staring straight ahead. She wasn't doing very good at trying to cover up any kind of reaction she had had. Kasia was aware of probably as much as Shima was. She had probably made herself obvious now. She looked back over her shoulder, a questioning look on her face. She didn't know how to ask him why or how he had done that. She had only known of her own powers for the longest time, not knowing much of what else there was or if there were some kind of rules. Confusion and a need for answers were clear on the girl's face as she awaited him to follow in behind her.

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
She had gotten so quiet. Her happy disposition faded, and it was bothering Shima a little. She had seen him kill that spirit, with no provocation. It looked like he had done it just to do it. He would be able to explain it soon. Because she had seen it, he guessed that faint hollow scent was emanating from her as well. It was so similar to a significant other that he had had in the past. He let out a gentle sigh. The way she had even said she didn’t care was so empty. It’s like she was there physically, but only physically. She seemed spaced out from everything. Kind of his fault he knew.
As she walked past him he sighed again and closed his eyes. He figured it was better if she knew things. He began walking forward, and he gently laid his hand on her shoulder. “Here, we can sit over by the window.” He said, leading her over. He pulled her chair out for her and then walked over and sat down. He shifted for a second and set his cigarettes and lighter on the table before looking to the left. He face held every question. “Well..”
There was a long pause as he slowly leaned a little forward, letting his elbows rest on the table, and his chin rest on his knuckles to keep his head up. “I guess the best way to start is to tell you what I am, and what you are.” he told her with a slight nod, “and also what that things was.” He let his arms fall and kept his head up on his own, taking in a small breath. “I am what is called a Quincy, we kill hollows, the evil spirits, with energy created from reishi in the environment. We’re few. You, I am not sure what the name for you is.” He began pushing back, and leaning back in his chair, so his front two legs were off the ground.
“You’re spiritually aware, caused by interaction with hollows I believe. Possibly more, it’s possible you have powers from your body taking of the spiritual powers of the hollows. Or something like that. It’s been awhile since I’ve been lectured about it.” He explained before sarcastically remarking. “Good times, yeah, good times.”
“The spirit. I should tell you about that.” He said again as he opened his cigarettes and pulled one out, tapping it against the table to pack to tobacco better. “Man, they are slow today.” He said, turning his head away from her and to the people behind the counters. One waved and lifted a finger as a symbol for ‘just a sec’ and he nodded in response. “Ok,” He said turning back to her, letting the tapping subside. “That spirit was a human spirit, one that I am sure you’ve seen before. Spirit was, not specifically that one. On their chest are chains. The chains can erode away, and then, those spirits become hollows, horrific spirit monsters.” There was a long pause before he lifted up the cigarette to his lips and lit it with his lighter. “And that’s the basics. Any questions?” He said with a deep inhale.

Kasia turned her head quickly, eyes a bit wide with shock, only to see it was just Shima who had touched her ever so gently. She relaxed her shoulders which had tensed up, offering an apologetic smile to him. On the inside she was scolding herself for being so jumpy. It wasn't really like her to be all the upset over anything. Though watching some one, who you didn't know was bad, get killed could probably do that to someone. Especially when she was convinced she was the only one who was even seeing those things most of the time.
Giving a tiny nod, she followed him over to the table she was guided to. She kept looking out the window as she sat down, scooting forward with her legs crossed indian style in the chair. She leaned back, keeping her hands in her lap. Really she wasn't sure what she was about to be told. But when Takeshima did begin to speak she slowly turned her head to face him, showing him that she was at least going to pay some attention to him. It seemed she had a lot to learn to.
So he was some other type of person that saw all the spirits and things she did. It seemed they were different though, not quite seeing things for the same reasons. So even he didn't know what she was despite his larger knowledge on the subject. It seemed like that little bit would probably remain a mystery to her for some time. But as if to show him the he was correct about her being able to more than just see everything he did, she held her hand out on the table, glancing over to the men behind the counter to make sure they weren't looking before looking back to her own hand. From underneath her glove, a black ribbon slithered out much like a snake before twirling around, twisting itself in the air with nothing more than her will to move it. It only revealed itself for a moment though before it burrowed itself back under her glove, seeming to disappear completely.
She listened to everything else he had to tell her, a bit of it coming together. She looked up to him, giving a small nod. "So the man from before. He was about to become on of those things?" She had seen hollows before though never was able to put a name on what they were. She had always been curious about where they came from. Now she had some reasoning for it all. She looked down to her lap, bringing her hand up from the table to twirl her hair around her finger as she thought for a moment, trying to classify the information she had just been given in some way.
"I've never really met anyone else that could see all that stuff" she admitted quietly, figuring it wasn't to good to talk about invisible things all that loud in public. She looked up, almost looking a bit happy now. Her smile had returned and she had an easy going, relaxed aura about her once again. "Seems you really aren't the boring one, Shima" Kasia mused, giving a short giggle. She was really beginning to get over what had happened before. It was still a bit strange and new to her but at least she knew now she wasn't in the presence of some random spirit killer. That would probably be a relief to anyone.

Takeshima Kunou - Age 20__________________________________________________________
Shima’s eyes caught sight of the black ribbon as it bent and fluidly shifted from her glove. It seemed she was special. When the ribbon retreated, he wondered just how complex her powers were. Surely cloth bending wasn’t the extent of her power and Shima was interested in just how strong she was. Yet other parts of him found ways to not care, figuring she would either do something else, or fall victim to something. It happened to many people.
After he asked if she had any questions she began with a simple one and he simply nodded, and gave her the name, stating “Hollow.” He felt some solace in the fact she knew what the monsters were. It felt nice that he wasn’t throwing all of this on her at once. He took in a deep breath and looked to the side. “I’ve met a few, even gotten into a few fights with some.” He told her. She said he wasn’t boring and he shook his head. “I’m still boring, believe me. I’m actually rather dull.” As he said this he opened his pack of cigarettes again and tipped it all the way over and kept the top covered with his hand. He raised his hand up to his mouth and leaned back slightly, before his throat moved as he swallowed.
He set the pack down and looked left and back, towards the counter where the workers were, and then gave a short whistle. Someone walked over not long after. They gave a slight bow, and apologized for the wait before asking for their orders. “Thank you.” Shima said before anything else. There was a pause before he just looked over, out the window, “Just a macchiato.” there was a small smirk before he looked back to her, “The more creative the design the bigger the tip.” He said before he looked to Kasia. Shima nodded to her and the waitress looked to her for a second before Shima spoke.
“They have great sandwiches here if you’re hungry. Good soup too. Tea, coffee, whatever you’d like.” He told her. After she ordered and the waitress headed back to start the order Shima grabbed his cigarette and put it to his lips and then grabbed his lighter. He lit his cigarette and inhaled deep, looking right to breathe it out, so he wasn’t blowing smoke in her face. “If you’d like..” He paused and looked at her as he took another drag, “I could try and tell you most of what I know.” He said with small bits of smoke flowing out on every word before he looked away again and blew the smoke. “I’m not sure if you’ve seen the soul reapers before, those fools in the black kimonos.” He kept thinking of other things before he stopped, “Actually, I will but why don’t you tell me about you? And don’t worry, people will just think we’re losers or something. Cosplayers who take things too seriously or something.” OOC: Status: Normal Action: -- Fatigue Level: 2% Injuries: -- Stats: Han: 7 Rei: 14 Hak: 7 Sei: 16 Buk: 16 Hoh: 16 Wordcount: 500

He was saying all kinds of things that were new to her. Kasia would be lying if she said she wasn't someone who was easily interested in things. She didn't even notice when some one walked over to them, waiting to take their orders. She was just staring waiting for more only to be left making a confused face when she was giving the word macchiato. What? She tilted her head and in doing so she saw that person out of the corner of her eye. Oh god she was blushing again. She covered up her face with one hand, looking down at the table. "I'll have some hot chocolate and whatever soup you would recommend" she stated, her voice a bit shaky. She was so weird sometimes!
Slowly she lifted her head, peeking around her hand to see if their server left before she lowered her hand completely. She gave a small nod when he mentioned the shinigami. She had figured they were something else some time ago when she noticed a lot of people wearing the same black uniforms. she guessed she was going to here more about them soon, perhaps not in the best of context due to how he spoke of them already. Maybe they weren't as good as they seemed. But that seemed like it was going to have to wait. He asked about her.
Kasia looked around for a moment, her mouth opening with no words coming out as she tried to think of what exactly she could say. "Well..um...I don't really know what I am exactly or anything about it. I never really ran into other people like me. It just sort of happened one day" She began, looking back to Takeshima with an apologetic look. "I mean there's probably some reason for it. And I do know that its attached to this" She held up her hand, waving it around in a way that would show off her ring. "I can feel my power centered there but thats really all I know. Its such a stupid thing to be attached to too. Just some stupid gift from some stupid boy" she muttered, making a face at the ring as she lowered her hand.
"So... I guess theres a lot more out there I didn't really know about. I thought I was just some weirdo" she giggled sitting back in her seat. She was moving around which would look weird to anyone who couldn't see the way she was bringing her legs up, re-positioning them time and time again just to find some comfortable way to sit which finally resulted in her sitting on one leg with the other one bent back behind her. By the time she was done their drinks as well as her soup had come and she blushed again when the waitress looked at her squirming form funny. She just laughed it off this time though, waiting for her to walk away again. "Okay maybe I'm still a total weirdo..."
