I whip my hair back and forth Stats: HAN: 9 REI: 9 HAK: 8 SEI: 9 BUK: 8 HOH: 12 The night before Rin had brought Haruka to the grandest location he had seen in the human world so far. He had even been to a beach and though it was warm enough outside, swimming in the the ocean felt a bit unpersonal with his old friend the water. There were fat women in awful swim suits and obnoxious children who hit waves with weird looking board things because they could swim or something. Haruka wasn't completely fond of that treatment or what the water had to witness so much of. Soooooooo much of. Haruka didn't like looking at what was on the beach either save for Rin but that was something different there wasn't a need to get into. Last night Rin had brought him to a completely empty pool though. There wasn't supposed to be another soul around. When they got there they were alone. For some reason though a group of people came and crashed it all. Haruka wasn't sure why some people came to the pool at night and didn't get right in to swim. Rin and he had snuck in but at least they actually used it for the entire ten minutes they stayed. Neither of them wanted to stay and deal with strippers or some shouting little girl.
Tonight was the night though. Haruka had memorized where this magical place was on their way out. The minute it seemed like the time the pool had closed Haruka had grabbed Rin with and extra serious look on his face that meant he wanted something and obviously this time it wasn't Rin. He had gotten teased last night. Tonight he was going to go fully into the water and properly reclaim that old relationship he had with it. Right now he wanted nothing more. He needed it more than anything else even though it held some risks that were also something different he had no time to get into.
Haruka didn't bother going through the doors and hallways and every twist and turn that would just keep them apart longer. So he dragged Rin right around until all that stopped him was a fence. Her stared through it at the pool the was glistening so beautifully in the moonlight as the filter made small waves ripple across its surface. Haruka lost himself for a moment. Suddenly though he was climbing up and over the fence and in the process he somehow got him shirt off, tossing it aside because honestly what did he care right now? He took off running, not even looking back to check on the other love of his life. His eyes were just dead set on the water as his hands busied themselves with his pants, undoing them before sliding them down his legs which somehow didn't hinder his legs before they flew off. Then like that he reached the edge of the pool, giving a final push of with one foot, diving into the pool as beautifully as he ever had. He went on to race to the otherwise, not even raising his head to breathe until his hand touched the wall. The water wouldn't let him drown. When he came up he finally room a look around for not only Rin but other beings that would interrupt them. So far it seemed safe.

Sexy and I know it There was something strange about the human world. Each time in had tried to do something nice for Haruka they were interrupted. The ocean was a bust from the start. It seems like the human race got bigger and unappealing as time went on, even though they weren't far from it that long. Though the pool they went to the second time seemed like it would be a better site for their eyes, but they were interrupted there as well. Honestly there was nothing he could do about it. He let Haruka know how sorry he was, and knew that was enough. It was a disgust to Rin as well, so he knew Haruka understood.
That's what brought them to this pool here. Haruka took him there, probably to have a reattempt at the previous night's swim. They were at the same place, but this time there was no one there and he hoped it would stay that way. Haruka jumped the fence and Rin followed the action. He saw Haruka was already in the pool when he got there. Where did he expect Haruka to be? He sighed and took off all his clothes except his swimsuit and hopped in the pool.
Rin did a few laps around the pool before wondering why they actually were there. There was so much they could have been doing with their time together, yet Haruka opted for swimming each and every time. Rin slowed down in the water eventually to end up floating in it. Wasn't the water the thing that drove him crazy in the first place? Is it torturing him to be there? Rin became concerned for Haruka's mental stability. What if killing Rin time and time again was just a plea for help? Why did they both love swimming if it was the thing that drove them apart? Was the water more important than their relationship? Rin didn't want to think on it anymore. He was sure Haruka liked him at least a little more than the water, but he wanted to be sure of it.
Rin swam to the area of the pool Haruka was at and and poked him "Hey, why don't we do something that doesn't involve water today?" He made his question seem more like a demand, showing Haruka he meant serious business. Then Rin got out of the water and stood at the side of the pool waiting for Haruka to get out. I whip my hair back and forth Stats: HAN: 9 REI: 9 HAK: 8 SEI: 9 BUK: 8 HOH: 12 Haruka wasn't sure if he should have put too much faith in it being true, but things were actually going smoothly for the first time in .. well ever. When he checked on Rin the man was already in the pool, swimming, and seemed to be enjoying himself enough. It was great that sometimes the two of the could get along as well as they did, even if the water was sometimes very much in favor of Haruka beheading Rin. Right now it was actually really peaceful and quiet. Haruka was relieved. He went back under the surface, kicking off from the wall to swim a few laps, not really focusing on speed as much as he was just enjoying its cool touch that soothed any worries he had away. It always knew just what to do to ease his mind. He wasn't even worried about what it might tell him to do later. It was still so early in their cycle anyway.
After a few laps Haruka switched it up to floating on his back. His eyes were closed as he started to lose himself in that absolute bliss of the water's hold. That was interrupted though. Haruka felt something poke him and he opened his eyes to see Rin standing at his side. He gave him the Haruka version of a smile, or rather for a few seconds he didn't have such a bored, distant look in his eyes. His mouth didn't move at all. Rin should have been able to guess by now that this was the happier version of him. Haruka stood up, shaking his head and flipping his hair around to dry it some so it was dripping water down into his eyes. Obviously Rin wanted something and he had Haruka's attention now.
Unfortunately Haruka wasn't as ready to hear what Rin wanted as he thought he was. His expression changed slight, brows furrowing and his eyes getting that shine they did when water was involved in any conversation. Rin wanted to ditch it in favor of going elsewhere even though they had just arrived. It had been decades and Rin wanted to just rush this reunion along. Haruka would be lying if he said he wasn't a bit annoyed with the thought. Rin knew how he was. Haruka of course knew how Rin was in return of course. He knew that tone. It wasn't a mere suggestion. More or less if Haruka didn't give yes as his answer things were going to get pretty bothersome really quickly.
His eyes followed Rin as he got out. He stood there for a moment, not saying anything to agree or deny Rin. He just sunk down a little bit, submerging himself up to the bridge of his nose. After a moment he closed his eyes, just letting himself feel. He didn't have ling and after a few seconds he swam to the wall, eyes still closed. He didn't need to see when the water was guiding him. He only opened them when his hand met the wall. He looked up at Rin, holding his other hand out to the man so he could pull him out. Haruka couldn't bring himself to do it alone. "What is it exactly you had in mind then?" Haruka questioned, throwing out that ounce of annoyance he managed to feel. At least he was feeling. Rin couldn't be too mad at him.

Sexy and I know it Rin pulled Haruka out if the pool, possibly separating the man from his one true love, but he didn't care. He was supposed to be the true love, not some pool he just met. It sucked how much he had to practically beg for the attention of the man who claimed to be his.
However Haruka decided to leave what they did next up to Rin. That only pissed him off more. What exactly were they supposed to do? Haruka was the one who brought them there. He should have been the one to take him to do something not swimming for once. Sure, the pool was great every once in awhile, but today he didn't feel like being ignored for the man's girlfriend.
Rin didn't want to ask Haruka exactly what the water meant to him. He knew it meant more than Rin himself. He didn't need the reminder and just staying there wasn't solving his problem. "I want to not swim for once. Take me someplace without water." Rin crossed his arms to show the frustration he felt with the damn substance. It was stealing away his boyfriend's attention at all hours of the day. Stats: HAN: 12 REI: 6 HAK: 12 SEI: 6 BUK: 9 HOH: 10 Words: --

I whip my hair back and forth Stats: HAN: 9 REI: 9 HAK: 8 SEI: 9 BUK: 8 HOH: 12 Unfortunately Rin went through with taking Haruka out of the water. True some of it was left on him, but even that was slipping away. He could feel it slide of his skin, dripping off of the ends of his hair, running away, never to return to him. He couldn't bring himself to look away from the glistening pool of water. It had been too long, and the two of them just couldn't seem to enjoy each other. Haruka felt more longing to it than ever before. It was right there, luring him in. Yet Rin was there to, demanding the exact opposite of him. His heart was divided. He wasn't used to feeling all of these kinds of things.
Rin spoke up, and got his attention. Haruka didn't like what he was hearing. Rin was leaving things up to him, giving him some expecting look and crossing his arms. Couldn't Rin just tell him where he wanted to go or what he wanted to do? It was hard to completely get away from water. It only covered about three quarters of the earth or something like that. Haruka couldn't help his sigh. He loomed back to the water. He was pretty sure it would just make some more trouble, but he needed some help right now and Rin wasn't giving him any of that.
"You're so troublesome" he muttered, turning away from Rin completely. He sat down at the edge of the pool, sticking his feet in. "You can try and enjoy yourself you know" his tone made it sound like any old comment, but Rin could probably tell that it was Haruka's smartassness coming through. He was getting pretty annoyed now. Both of them liked water. Haruka didn't get why being here was such a big deal. Rin knew Haruka better than anyone. He should have known how much he needed this. He was being selfish. The water hadn't said anything before, but now it was speaking up. Its words only made Haruka even more upset. He glanced up to Rin, an unreadable look on his face. It was his move.
