[/img][/div] male | gynophile | hollow [/blockquote] [/ul] AGE:[/blockquote] [/ul] FORM::[/blockquote] [/ul] [/div] [/b][/blockquote] [/ul] HEIGHT:[/b] (86" IN / 218 CM)[/blockquote] [/ul] WEIGHT:[/b]. (338 KG)[/blockquote] [/ul] APPEARANCE:[/url] [/blockquote] [/ul] [/div] LIKES: ♑ The Great White Desert; Since losing all memory of his human life Morpheus's only home has been the sands of Hueco Mundo. The irony is that such a world is no one's home, only a place that exists where lost souls consume one another to prolong their lives in pursuit of self completion. When referring to the white deserts as "home", what Morpheus really means to imply is a familiarity with the land that permitted him what he needed to exist.
♑ Dueling; Morpheus is on Soul Society's 'Dangerous Hollows' list. Those below the rank of lieutenant are advised against crossing blades with Morpheus but he is known to challenge Shinigami he wishes to consume or learn from in the Human World to one on one duels. He enjoys a clean fair match of honor between two swordsmen as an opportunity to acquire new skills.
♑ Conquest; Since attaining Menos Grande status Morpheus has gathered Hollows either as allies or enemies and fought to unify them. It is his goal to bring Hollowkind together, and he believes Hollows would naturally be superior to Arrancar if organized despite there being much power to gain from losing one's mask.
♑ Swordmasters; A self proclaimed master of blades himself, Morpheus seeks to face others skilled in blades. Not all Arrancar wield swords however, and almost no other Hollows do either, leading him to wander the human world in search of blade wielders to challenge. He seeks those more skilled than himself so that he might emulate their own individual styles.
♑ Zanpakuto; Despite having no Zanpakuto of his own Morpheus seeks to understand these weapons. It is easy to see a Hollow's rather simple personality expressed in the shape of their body; but he has come to understand very complex self awareness goes into mastery of a Shinigami's zanpakuto. He does not yet understand how the relationship between master and weapon is in fact a relationship between souls and companions, lacking the emotional capability in his current state.
♑ Shinigami; Morpheus allows himself to be fascinated by his natural enemy. He has eaten Hollows for many, many centuries. He has found he can learn nothing more from them. He instead turns to the Soul Reapers for new experiences and dangers, seeking to devour their strongest soldiers rather than eat other Adjuchas. However, he will only consume those who agree to duels.
♑ Light; Ironic that Morpheus is a sunlight sensitive Hollow, yet appreciates light. He does not remember why exactly. There is an aesthetic his partially human-like state of mind recognizes in it. The true reason he appreciates light is simply that he was a painter who strove to perfect the depiction of it in his heart while human, but that life is long gone for Morpheus now.
DISLIKES:
♑ Arrancar; It is one thing to admire the strengths of the Shinigami and seek to better oneself in order to surpass them. It is another entirely to sacrifice what you are in an attempt to become what you are not and can never be; Morpheus does not even acknowledge the zanpakuto of Arrancar as a true Zanpakuto, and sees them all as failed organisms who abandoned their ways as a Hollow. He doesn't even deem them fit for consumption and believes no Hollow in their right mind should remove their mask if they have a choice in the matter.
♑ The Espada; In a relatively short period of time the broken masked became the rulers of the Hollow world. It is nothing more than a disgusting travesty. Morpheus despises the Arrancar and their order much like how some Shinigami once despised vizards, and believes that only true Hollows should rule the land of white deserts. Las noches and it's ilk is nothing but a farce.
♑ Cowards; Morpheus first witnessed cowardice in the eyes of newborn Adjuchas, whom were too afraid to return to the surface in search of stronger Hollows. They instead hid until becoming mindless Gillian once more from starvation, losing all individuality... Morpheus soon witnessed other cowardly displays, such as Adjuchas fearing they might revert to a lesser form of being turning to Shinigamification and becoming Arrancars to avoid nature's course. Morpheus despises all cowards; you should go into the heat of danger with no fear of death on a path lit by hellfire, for there is no other way to move forward.
♑ Las Noches; This building is a mockery of what it means to be a Hollow. To erect an unnatural fortification on a plane of complete nature with it's own natural fortresses is an insult to the desert's pale sands. A true King amongst Hollows wins his place through strength and virtue, and does not hide behind minions and walls... Morpheus sees the current ruler of Hueco Mundo as a man who has lost his way, and lost sight of what he spurned, despite having never met the Espada Lord in his past.
♑ Vizards amongst Shinigami; Knowing that he hates hybrids amongst his own kind, so too does Morpheus hate hybrids amongst his enemies. He is not even sure of what to think about Hollows who were once Vizards; he doesn't want them among his race, and believes any unnatural bridge to another species should never be used.
♑ Quincy; Morpheus knows the struggle between Hollow and Shinigami to be constructive. Both sides make the other stronger - and ultimately, one will claim sovereignty, as Soul Society has done though it has not truly conquered Hollowkind. But Quincy destroy the soul behind a Hollow's mask. There is no reincarnation, no purification, nothing; it is the fruitless destruction of a soul. He sees the Quincy too as beings defying nature, and treats every Quincy like a disease festering in the world, unworthy of honor.
♑ Honorless; Morpheus follows a loose code of behavior structured for fairness between combatants, so that he may face enemies at their best and in turn be faced when he is at his best, without fear of wrongdoing or underhandedness. Those who have no code, or abuse what respect he might have for his enemy, incur great wrath from this Hollow.
POSITIVE TRAITS:
♑ Virtuous; Morpheus has developed so much as a Hollow he has an unusually complex sense of individuality. He is not personified by one feeling such as "Rage" or "Loneliness", like some Arrancar debase themselves as, but encompasses an entire set of moral values. Patience, perception, responsibility... these are a few of the concepts he understands. Morpheus does not understand emotional bonding or love however, so he is not entirely complete in personality.
♑ Brave; At first Morpheus knew there to be great danger in life as a Hollow and avoided risks, only to quickly see that those who hid from fate for too long were ultimately crushed. He believes in taking risks sensibly - when entering battle he enters without fear of death, because if one enters combat afraid of dying, then they will surely die!
♑ Thoughtful; Although Morpheus has yet to understand some essential concepts that define the inner moral strengths of non-Hollows that grant them an unyielding willpower he has recognized, he is intelligent and deep of mind for the most part. He would have difficulty expressing his thoughts but nonetheless be in possession of higher level ideas as far as morality.
♑ Inhuman; Morpheus might be human-like across some of his personality, but he is still distinctly different. He lacks humane mentality; He still has the instinct of a Hollow - a soul eating monster endlessly lusting for souls, and lacks hesitation or indecisiveness. He lacks the emotional weaknesses of a human being and is instead far more relentless. While he exhibits virtue, in the end it still just serves his own interests... he is not slowed by any attachments to others.
♑ Adaptable; Morpheus observes as stated previously, and learns from his enemies. He takes this habit a step further by taking what he has learned and using it to alter his own actions. He does not adapt through creativity however. He adapts through observation, applying recognized characteristics to himself. It is largely artificiated.
♑ Respectable; Morpheus will not duel sick or maimed enemies, even if his goal is ultimately to eat his foe; he would rather defeat and consume them when they are at their best. He also does not needlessly kill the weak and will agree to duel away from populated areas if his enemy so wishes. However, he does this not out of any sort of good. Any untapped soul killed is like a seed crushed before it could ever grow into an edible crop. It is also debasing to Morpheus's strange sense of dignity to take hostages, even if it is to draw out the best within an enemy.
NEGATIVE TRAITS: ♑ Inhuman; Morpheus cannot understand the emotions of non-Hollows. He can only empathize with what is instinctual, violent, or natural; concepts such as bonds or the ability to draw strength from one's feelings for others are qualities Morpheus has no sense of. He has recognized them in the past in numerous conflicts which he did not win, but has yet to grasp these meanings. He seeks to evolve further so that he might acquire such strength for himself, unaware it doesn't quite work that way.
♑ Incapable of lying; Morpheus has little to no creativity, which is essential for the act of deception. If he even decides to communicate, he isn't able to mislead or deceive anyone. He knows the concept of lying and despises it, but beyond that, is incapable of it. Lies are almost like a mystical unknown danger to him.
♑ Radical; Morpheus is against all Arrancar and their current order, and beyond that opposes all hybrids and Quincy. Should he cross blades with any member of such peoples and lose... it's likely his bitter hatred could get him killed, even if he does not fear that result.
♑ Unsettling; Morpheus is terrifying, even among Hollows, Those who aren't intimidated by him don't exactly find his grotesque, gnarly skin and exposed teeth very attractive either. As a Hollow he's unattractive, repulsive even, as most of his kind are. He will make enemies just by being seen.
♑ Too Brave; Morpheus freely wanders the human world and brazenly challenges even officials of the Gotei 13, seeking to duel elite Shinigami. The danger is obvious; the real problem is that he isn't afraid of it.
EXTRAS: Morpheus's eyesight is exceptionally poor. Like many Hollows he is extremely sensitive to sunlight, and in his case his eyes took permanent damage from repeated sunlight exposure in the human world. Although his near vision is an acceptable 20/30, his long vision is an impossible 20/60. In combat he can't really see much farther than twenty feet. Beyond that everything is an incomprehensible blur or outright formless.
His Hollow hole is in his tongue, also, which reduces his ability to taste; furthermore, he has no real nose in his mask and breathes out of primitive nasal pores under his mask, which do not allow for a sense of smell. This strips him of all ability to detect scent, and his ability to taste is greatly limited. His poor eyesight also adds to the apparent disadvantage.
However, these qualities were all a natural part of Morpheus as a Hollow. His eyes used to be compound but became largely humanoid, leaving him without their previous advantages; his sense of scent was also once located elsewhere but became vestigial and eventually disappeared during his time as an Adjuchas.
As a means of compensation for his poor senses, Morpheus does have almost superhuman senses of touch and hearing. He can actually feel vibrations in the air against his body plates or skin, and know both the direction of the vibration, but also the shapes of what it came from. It is advanced enough to let him have a limited perception of what he cannot see. His impeccable sense of feeling by touch is also responsible for his exquisite and unique aptitude for swordsmanship.
His sense of hearing is also quite advanced. He has no external ears, but his internal audio organs are very developed. He can actually hear farther than he can see, and gets a rough idea of his surroundings within a few hundred feet just by standing still and listening. It is a lesser form of sonar, as it does produce a picture in his mind but requires him to temporarily shut off his sense of sight in order to receive it.

If an enemy's HAN is 3 points lower than Morpheus's SEI or more, the wave will actually go all the way through them instead of leaving an ordinary gash or laceration. This poses a danger of dismemberment or worse (Death requires player permission, if used on someone weak enough to die in one hit.). If the enemy's HAN is just two points lower to one point higher than Morpheus's SEI, they receive a deep laceration that causes bleeding and may sever nerves depending on where it hits. If an enemy's HAN is two to three points higher than Morpheus's SEI however, they receive only a shallow but elongated gash where the wave strikes. Additionally, enemies with a HAN that is four points higher than Morpheus's SEI or more will only receive a small, slender cut instead or nothing at all if they have armor, hierro, or something similar. A soul that withstood the light HISTORY: 195 A.D, The Roman Empire
It seemed every few years a great revolt of some kind would break out in one of Rome's many provinces. Common peoples would revolt against the Empire and it's Legions, only to be conquered and brutalized until all hope was finally crushed under the powerful heels of Rome's daunting armies. The primitive lands of that time were no match for Rome, an empire that would last for nearly a millennium.
This time, it was the Parthians Rome fought against, sending one of it's unstoppable armies to crush the middle eastern province in what would later be called Mesopotamia. Though a formidable force, they would fail against the Romans, ushering a wave of nationalism and celebratory joy in the Empire's great capitol that lasted for years until the next great tide of warfare.
Though Rome was abundant with many soldiers, Severus (Later to be the infamous Morpheus) was born as the son of one of Rome's senators. Separated from the plebeian class of lowborn citizens, he never had to fear conscription into Rome's Legions, and enjoyed a comfortable life sustained on the labor of slaves his house owned. Mild corruption filled his father's heavy purse, as it did for some senators, allowing for a very comfortable living. Belonging to a respected name placed Severus in irrevocable luxury; the comforts and amenities of his life were purely innumerable, having concubines as soon as puberty set on.
Every Patrician child was expected to be scholarly, though Severus had little interest in books. Later as a young man looking forward to inheriting his father's legacy he was much more interested in warfare, and trained to become a member of Rome's proud Legion. He entered officer school, rather than higher colleges.
But the day came where Severus's father dipped too far into the pit of corruption, with enemies ready to pounce at their chance. He was found guilty of crimes and stripped of all status. He was executed, his assets seized, and one by one members of his family were killed as was the way in Rome..
Severus, however, escaped. He threw away his name and lived among the commoners - and as a youth fresh into adulthood, he was forced to adapt to an entirely different culture among lowborns.
Severus lived as a laborer but soon found the job to be too dangerous; it was not uncommon for workers to be crushed by the heavy materials they worked with, and the fallen noble did not feel like leaving his life to chance. He instead joined the lesser sector of the Legion as infantry under a false name, still proud to be a Roman. He understood his loss, though he disdained his lack of responsibility for his father's crimes.
Severus's time in the legion continued for fourteen years, throughout which he used the training he had received to excel above other troops, and was eventually promoted by merit. He became quite proud in that he not only had birthright but raw talent as well, even if his stained heritage was now a liability. He took many Parthian and Barbarian lives and eventually became a commander, working as the metaphorical fingertip of one of Rome's cunning Generals.
Another four years of brutal sieges came; these were different, striking on the home turf of Rome's enemies in their most fortified cores, where the foe was defending the last of their territory and fighting for their very lives. Prior to this Severus had fought in easy battles and fought soldiers, not innocents. Now he had to witness his own men dying, and worse, saw the deaths of civilians killed ruthlessly by the sword of Rome. It changed him; Severus decided never to taste blood again, retired after his tour of service, and became a painter living modestly.
He strove to paint light; obsessed with the purity he had lost. He bore a son from a prostitute whom he strove to raise as a philosopher, teaching against violence but never confessing his true crimes. Years passed, and his lone child stubbornly refused to be a scholar, instead admiring the military idols of Rome. Many arguments and bitter conflict erupted between father and son, throughout all of which Severus's child had no idea his father had once been a prominent member of the forces he spoke against to him.
The boy came of age, becoming a man, and worked hard to train. He proved himself worthy of recruitment, and entered the legion, going on further to bitterly declare his choice to Severus. Calmly, the now elderly Severus rose and drew a dull blade, asking his child to draw whatever weapon he saw fit. Enraged by what he saw as his old father's arrogance, the fresh recruit was swiftly defeated by his father's skilled arm. The boy was awestruck; while his son lay clutching his bruises on the ground, Severus imparted a final warning. "You will be drunk on violence until that blood you thirst for touches your lips, upon which it will poison your soul and take away everything I have fought to preserve in you..."
It was too late for the boy to back out. He was conscripted; but moved with a fateful caution, and Severus believed his son would be fine. But it wasn't so.
Severus's son lacked the training of his father, and was slain by nameless barbarians. When dreadful word reached Severus... everything seemed to collapse. The soul of every piece of art he made, as well as his own, tasted a bitter blackness. The painter spent the last of his old war salary to acquire a fine gladius, and armor purposefully stripped of all legion regalia.
Severus then approached the legion and challenged the man who had commanded his son in single combat. First mocked for having no shield, and later feared for swiftly defeating the much younger commander, Severus expressed his bitter hate for the man who had commanded his son so poorly. Before he could kill him, the officer told the aged veteran of how his only heir had died, an heir to a dead house long and forgotten.
The young soldier allowed himself to be slain by the enemy, because he refused to perpetuate the crimes he had witnessed for himself.
Severus wasn't able to kill the commander afterwards. He found tears instead of his blood... broken of soul and will he had nothing to live for now. No son, no wife, no family. But that same officer he bested became a friend to the old man, and later Severus mentored him. He only learned later the Commander's interest in him was that the young officer knew Severus before his descent from nobility... and knowing his past as a commander himself under a different name, he offered to beseech his father and bring the aged veteran back onto the field of battle as an officer once more, and take revenge on the barbarians who took his son.
Usually, it would've flown in the face of every value Severus wanted to teach his son. But only a monster kills a surrendered man; he knew his own people were no better, that no good came of what he chose to do. But he did it anyway - Severus was back on the battlefield, commanding troops in brilliant strategies that only seasoned veterans are capable of. He believed in no good men on the earth - so at the very least, if his side won, there would be no more dead sons.
Severus later caused the deaths of thousands across North Africa, Mesopotamia, Parthia, and all across the Mediterranean as a relentless commander deified for his bloodlust. He reclaimed his former name halfway through his career... yet by then it was forgotten, just another dead name unworthy of his assailant's memories. But he remembered them.
Severus's intense hatred actually drove out the potential spiritual affinity within him as a human; unknowingly a Fullbringer after Hollow attacks on his mother, he only developed his abilities as an old man. His fullbring was a rusted roman sword, which morphed into a thing of glory each time it was stained in blood, but quickly aged when left dry. It completely embodied his thirst for revenge, that became hatred without purpose after he wiped out the barbarians who took his son and later in secret the nobles who took his family. His ability as a Fullbring was similar to that of what he had as a Hollow, and he was famed for being able to cut nearly anything without his attack being seen, when in truth his attacks were performed without him moving by currents of reiatsu he learned to control purely through practice.
Severus aged more fears. The families that had killed his own were dead... the barbarians who took his son were dead... and on the battlefield, he commanded his forces in effective but terribly crude tactics that he hoped would ensure that the legion that snatched his son's fascination and life away would one day die too when it was no longer needed. His heart hardened. He became one of the men raping innocent women, seeking to produce one son but producing many he never met instead. His sword took foreign life without discrimination or remorse, even children and pregnant women who didn't bear his own children, until the day he met his own end.
Because of his spiritual powers no normal man could fight Severus and live. He was far too keenly aware of how to kill a man in the seemingly endless number of angles he could strike from, in currents of power that could chop through blades. He never expected it wouldn't be a human that killed him exactly; during a siege the stone wall of a fortress fell to pieces, collapsing on the weathered commander in a landslide. Needless to say he died instantly.
271 A.D, Parthian Battlegrounds
Where Severus died, he watched in apathy as his siege failed without his command, and gazed upon the mountain of stones and Roman bodies where his corpse lay. He knew he was dead; his chain of fate was connected to the rubble however. He tried to pull free... he wanted to fight, he had to fight...
He didn't want to fight for rome. For decades, he had not been fighting for it; he hadn't be fighting for his son, or the once peaceful ideals he had lost. He wanted only to fight for himself. The rage became ever more intense as he pulled and pulled on that soul chain.. the want for bloodshed left him unable to pass on. The gaping scar where his feelings had once been craved further satisfaction, and would not be slaked so easily. Slowly as he pulled the chain from himself with his powerful arms, kept tempered throughout age by ceaseless usage, it revealed a gaping hole... but he tore away nonetheless.
The moment that chain was removed from him, he felt the most grotesque agony in all existence as he felt his own body evaporate and slowly condense again in anguishing implosion, so horribly awful it scraped away every memory and vestige of his former self, so terrible it destroyed his very identity. It is a pain that no vain words can describe no matter how well versed... but it surpassed everything he had ever known, so great it crushed his memories of hardship and death.
The rampaging Hollow born from Severus spared no one on that battlefield. Drunk on the blood of countless soldiers, after consuming hundreds it steadily evolved, and the massacre of that nameless battlefield was told by neither side for it's lack of survivors; only that Severus the Bloody had died and taken his foes with him, tearing apart every stone and pillar of wood for as far as the eye could see when scouts next visited, and found the proud General's corpse.
272 A.D, The Middle East
The Hollow of Severus was drawn to death, violence, and negativity; where war was it followed, and clashes were all over the middle east. There were legends of battles ending as unseen forces ripped apart soldiers and their innards would vanish, while a rare few would see a demon ripping apart the skirmishes to eat without concern or discrimination. It's only utterance was a terrifying empty roar that screeched of anguish incomprehensible, as if struggling to douse it's pained soul with blood.
The Hollow's powers imitated the Fullbring it's former self had once held in life. Countless men died in sweeps of glowing phantom slashes, dying and later having their souls eaten in droves. Hollow of Severus continued, roaming the deserts and wastelands to make their parched soil wet with blood. A lack of Shinigami there left no forces great enough to stop him, as he ate many souls very quickly and developed rapidly as a result, soon growing beyond what an average patrol could possibly handle and traveling too quickly between countries to be caught by the Shinigami of ancient times.
Severus did not enter Hueco Mundo for much time, for that reason; but gradually found that, eventually, no human would quench his thirst at all. He hunted spiritually rich humans and Shinigami instead - he was drawn across the east and eventually past asia in his neverending hunt for souls, in the aftermath of which countless other souls were consumed in desperate voracity. He had seen the crusades, endured the countless wars that reshaped the middle east, and left countless massacres across asia that became legends of folklore lost to time.
1479 A.D, Japan
One of the rare few Hollows to become a Gillian on Earth, the Hollow of Severus left behind his status as a demon of the west to become a youkai of the east in legend. The warring states and factions of Japan were familiar to this Hollow, whom had been born on a bloody field of war.
Severus was not here for skirmishes anymore, however. He would linger near them, but he was a smarter predator now; he would lie in wait with concealed spiritual pressure, often beneath water. When a battle ended and the innumerable souls left behind were met by Japan's plentiful Shinigami to be passed on, the towering Menos Grande would descend on the black robed soul reapers and devour them before consuming the comparatively meager human souls lying about.
Bloodlust kept him as himself upon becoming a Gillian, where many instead became mindless drones. A lack of satisfaction with everything lived in him.., what hatred left behind preserved him in his new and dark existence, giving him willpower that matured slowly into individuality. He was eventually sentient, partly, but rarely spoke ever. There was no need to; what manner of idiot speaks to their food? The Shinigami recognized him as their enemy anyway, and words seldom eased the burden of combat.
Eventually, however, the Hollow of Severus found many strong Hollows in Japan whom he dueled with. Some he could not defeat - they'd either force him to flee or retreat before he could finish them, putting a strain on the abilities he once thought as infallible. It was then that he realized the limits of his own limitations, and began to recognizes the differences between each race of being. His mind opened by Hollow Evolution, he quickly learned a great many things...
One day, after consuming rival Hollows and many Shinigami for decades, Severus pursued a particularly powerful Hollow into Hueco Mundo. It was fleeing him and this time he knew he could catch it - he just had to take the risk of chasing it into the unknown, as a black hole consumed his prey.
He followed after it; and in the white sands, he consumed the creature, before realizing the gateway had closed. Suddenly feeling urgency he then realized he could open the same gateway himself - he was amazed, and continued to discover other Hollow powers by observing others use them.
1509 A.D, Hueco Mundo
As a Gillian he used his massive form to scoop up hundreds of Hollows at once and shovel the struggling beings into his mouth. They weren't a match for him. And even though other Gillian were of comparable power, they were too mindless to even recognize him as a threat; he just relentlessly ate them, one after the other, until there were no more.
Each time he exhausted his food supply, he set out in search of more. More, and more, and more - these were his motivations. And it became about more than souls too. After seeing the usage of Garganta he began using it as well, going on to mimic cero and negacion until he developed his own methods of wielding the many powers available to a Hollow. He didn't learn by creativity though - he learned by observation, lacking creative impulses.
Centuries of hunting went on, of the same cycle, only it became bigger and more violent each time it repeated itself.
After countless phases of evolution, the Hollow of Severus became an Adjuchas and one to be feared at that. With a plated body and a swift, deceptive ability, few others of his kind could stand against him in duels. He ate everything he could get his claws on, and soon, a chunk of the menos forest's masked denizens had been consumed by him.
He roamed the expanse of quartz trees with nothing but a burning hunger to guide him. Even at a stage in evolution where many Hollows lost their hunger and began to devolve into Gillian, he was unsatisfied. He had never been satisfied in his life. It had all just been a perpetual cycle that only strength could ever change. He only began commanding Gillian when eating them was worthless, and eventually, returned to the human world.
1874, Tokyo - Japan
Upon entering Japan the Hollow of Severus immediately began encountering Shinigami; although the bestial style of Hollow combat coupled with his brute strength defeated unranked or low ranked patrols easily, he found himself puzzled by the refined and complex style of Shinigami with power similar to his own. Many battles, he did not win, and was forced to flee from; but when driven away he returned, this time mimicking the Shinigami that defeated him.
The Hollow of Severus wielded blades of his spiritual pressure, or weapons crafted from the plates on his body, dueling Shinigami after Shinigami to slake both his hunger for their rich souls and his hunger to learn. Decades of combat placed him on Soul Society's list of dangerous Hollows, where he was dubbed 'Morpheus' for his seemingly shapeshifting combat style and later 'Blademaster Morpheus' when he officially became recognized as a weapon wielding Hollow skilled in swords.
Taking a liking to the name, he adopted it, and resumed for a century of duels.
1974, Hokkaido - Japan
After nearly a century of duels and an entirely different brand of hunting, Morpheus slowly absorbed many qualities he had observed. He became strangely honorable as a combatant. There was little for him to learn of swordsmanship, and his physical form had become remarkably more humanoid, continuing to change and develop even as an Adjuchas. Many of his Hollow organs had become vestigial.
Instead, he continued to become much more human-like, but remained distinctly grotesque. He was simply a monster; but he was a wise one, knowing much. As he continued to duel new enemies, such as Vizards and Quincy, he learned of the various races and became quite astute. He instead became obsessed with a single strength of willpower that he himself lacked.
Decades apart, Morpheus had met people different from his usual foe. They were the most powerful of combatants he had faced - and yet, they fought not for themselves. Even when he was sure he would win, and not because of his arrogance, they would surprise him with sudden releases of hidden power perhaps that even they had not tapped into before. At the conclusion of one battle, Morpheus asked what it was. The Shinigami then proceeded to describe something incomprehensible to him in a single four letter word, and a devotion to another Morpheus could not understand.
But in respect of what was beyond him, and perhaps awe at the greatest mystery he had encountered as a Hollow, Morpheus permitted the same elite swordsmen to live rather than kill him; it contributed to the loose reputation he had of being respectable as an adversary.
1998 A.D, Hueco Mundo
A war broke out amongst rival Adjuchas in the Menos Forest, drawing Morpheus's jaded attention. At the very surface it appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary skirmish. But it wasn't.
It was headed by strange, Shinigami-like beings; these were earlier predecessors of today's Arrancar attempting to subjugate the Menos. He found their attempts interesting, as well as the apparent fear towards them from the other Adjuchas... but open dueling some Numeros, he found they were strong but not beyond him. It was from the lips of a dying captive that he learned just what these beings were, and rejected an offer to join the hybrids.
Having already encountered Vizards, Morpheus began to despise the Arrancar as their strongest members continued to impose their order throughout Hueco Mundo. Numerous conflicts erupted, and the already unstable structure of the Hollow World was crowned prematurely by their "jewel" of Las Noches. That infamous name - Colin Ualas - reeked of power across Hueco Mundo. Unnatural, unwelcome power.
2012 to Present Day, Japan
Morpheus began to realize he had no future in Hueco Mundo. So few Hollows there gave him sustenance, and he could feel himself on the precipice of further evolution. He began to seek powerful Shinigami to devour instead, as he refused to consume Arrancar; by now he had developed a full blown hatred for the hybrids.
He wanders in search of swordsmen and powerful souls to challenge, raising a bloodied red palm to signify his intentions to his chosen enemy.

Approved for AV-1 with 83 points. You can apply these along with your class/level.

You need to fix your class/level to AV-1, not AV-0.

I already did, had the same stats as an AV-1, just slipped up and put AV-0 on accident.
