Colin lay on his large four poster bed, staring at the blue canopy stretched high above him. It had taken some time, but he was confident that the ranks of Angelis’ army were well on their way to being fully replenished. He had even managed to find more Arrancar that were suitable for the Espada. The resources were coming together beautifully. Soon, it would be time to decide what to do with them. But first, he supposed the Espada should meet each other. He didn’t necessarily expect any sort of camaraderie between his officers – such an ideal situation was probably nothing more than a pipe dream. However, they should at least know each other’s faces and get to know a little of each other’s personalities. More importantly, he wanted to solidify his position as the new commander of Angelis’ army. Once the Espada understood that, they could go back to hating each other in their spare time if that was what they wanted to do.
And yet he was reluctant to call a meeting. It just wouldn’t be a simple meet-and-greet affair like he wanted it to be. He knew that there was probably going to be hostility. He knew that some of his old “comrades” would undoubtedly question his authority, in spite of the fact that he had already managed to hold the army together. Hell, it might even come to a fight with some of the more unruly ones. He wasn’t above using force to convince the idiots of the validity of his views…he just didn’t want to waste the energy on it. But he supposed it would be better to just face this crap head-on rather than avoid it forever. So with a deep sigh, he dragged himself off of his bed and got dressed. Today, however, he made a slight alteration to his usual attire. Rather than holstering his beloved bullwhip to his hip, he left the whip coiled on a chair and pulled Estampido Supersónico from the Garganta where he kept it stored. Once the sword was fastened to his belt, he inspected himself in the mirror. He figured he may as well look put-together when he assembled his Espada.
He sighed again. “How did Angelis deal with us? We are such an unruly bunch of fools,” he murmured as he strode across his room – ever mindful of the loose composition paper, maps and piles of books scattered around the floor – and slipped out the door. As usual, the floor of his personal quarters was completely deserted. His boots clacked quietly against the marble floors as he contemplated where he should have them assemble and what he should do if they didn’t answer his summons. The newer ones that he had recruited would probably show up fairly quickly. They didn’t have any lingering loyalty to the previous leader. Rou would probably be present as well, if only because her “knightly honor” would demand it of her. He didn’t necessarily expect Julius to make an appearance, but it would be a nice touch – the old leader’s lieutenant showing his fealty to Colin. As for Rai, Rudianos and the Baron…well, he would cross that bridge when he came to it.
He shook his head as he descended the spiraling staircase to the more populated areas of his palace. He summoned the Fraccion-level Arrancar that attended to him and sent them out to either give the summons to the Espada or prepare coffee for the meeting. Once they were on their way, he turned his footsteps to the large meeting hall that he had prepared not long after taking control. It was a simple affair, considering the grandeur of the palace’s foyer. Plain white marble floors were lit by what looked like flickering torches. From the walls hung several tapestries embroidered with what had become his personal crest and the brand of his servants – a griffin resplendent in shades of gold and red soaring above a verdant meadow. And in the dead center of the room was a huge circular table. Etched into the surface were several smaller, plain versions of his crest while the middle of the table was hollow. There were twelve high-back padded chairs spaced evenly around the table – one for each of his Espada, one for Julius and one for himself. No seat was any more ornate than another; however the Espada numbers were carved into a small circle near the top edge of the chair backs to indicate where they should sit. Satisfied that everything was in place, he settled into his own chair and laid his arms on the armrests. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes as his Fraccion entered with the coffee and set themselves up in the center of the table so that they could quickly and easily serve any Espada at a moment’s notice. Now he just needed to wait for the rest to arrive.

The white halls carried the echo of his footsteps well. Shiroku strode down the hall his hands in his pockets, It was truly a uneventful day. He thought there would be more excitement when he became an Espada but this was a real drag. Shiroku had heard that some new boss has taken over Las Noches and then boom there he was as an Espada. The male in the black coat walked down the hall he was a obvious contrast to the rest of the area. Shiroku stopped in his tracks as an fraccion level arrrancar appeared before him and told him that there was to be a meeting of the Espada. "Oh a meeting of my fellow Espada you say...well i dont wanna keep the ladies waiting" A slight smirk curled over his face, Shiroku had heard that the Espada had some beautiful temptresses in there ranks and he couldnt wait to get a good view himself. It was at the moment he started heading to the meeting room.
Shiroku had been halfway around the complex and yet still had managed to make it to the meeting all before the others. That was just great now he looked like Colins lacky, and was certainly not his lacky but he didnt have a straight up disrespect for him either. As he walked in he gave a slight galnce and a halfassed attempt at a hello but Shiroku just hated talking to males. "Boss...." The only males he spoke to or looked at where those he felt he would never see again and himself. After only a momentary glance around the room found the seat with his number carved into it. When Shiroku sat down he kicked his feet up and set them on the table and looked around to check if anyone else had joined them yet.
As they sat there alone Shiroku looked at the table, and to Shiro it was a humorous thing to put in the meeting room. A table with a huge whole in the center to Shiroku it felt like an ironic reminder that they themselves where Hollows. It just felt ironic and so he spoke out "Dont you find it ironic that you picked a table with a whole in the center of it. I mean of all the kinds of tables you could have picked you decided one with a whole was good......i mean it doesnt bother me. Im just trying to make idle conversation. Is so quiet in here i can hear my thoughts to much." He said still not looking at Colin but obviously he was speaking to him. Shiroku wasnt a fan of talking to other males, but he didnt want to seem rude and piss the boss off. Shiroku sat there both his arms and legs crossed and waited for both a response and the other members to arrive.

Post by Rudianos Illyria on Nov 21, 2013 18:51:36 GMT -5
Rudianos' plan was coming along well. Slowly, to say the least - but well. Through the battles he had, he gradually gained power. And it seemed as though his higher-ups were not progressing as fast as he was, despite being far more powerful than him. If this kept up, he would have the strength and technique to challenge them, and take over Las Noches. He chuckled darkly at the thought - he, Rudianos Illyria, would be leading the Espada. Most - if not all - of them would likely resist him, or would have been crushed by him, but this mattered not.
It would be quite a while before he put his plan into motion, however. Much to his disappointment, there were no two ways about it - he wasn't powerful enough to last a single round with most of those above him. As much as he wished he was stronger, he would struggle to defeat even the Espada immediately above or below him. A frustrating prospect, to be sure, but he bore with it. After all, there wasn't anything he could do but prepare, for now. He knew he would never have their trust, but he thought he could at least have them write him off as harmless.
At this point in time, however, he was to attend a meeting. Quite why the meeting had been called, he wasn't too sure - he likely hadn't been paying attention, as it seemed trivial. He would have known if a meeting was called to discuss something important, but as it stood, there was little for him to actually care about. His steps echoed and boomed through the empty hallways, his massive weight and girth making his approach and entrance less subtle, but far more intimidating. To those he could actually beat, anyway - the two already in could probably defeat him with a flick of their finger.

✖ DREAMS TURN INTO NIGHTMARES. OUR MEETING WAS A SPOILER BECAUSE HOWEVER YOU LOOK AT IT, THE ENDING WAS CLEAR. THE ILLUSION DIES AS TIME DRAGS ON. TAGS something here WORDS something here NOTES something here
Wilmarie had been having a bit of fun in the Human World, the humans that share the same skin pigmentation as she, were a amusing bunch. The fights they have over the littlest things were so amusing to watch for her, especially between females. The males were amusing as well, but not as viscious as the females. They also had listenable music, she has learned some odd dance moves that she never expected to see. Though the only one she actually liked was the one where your hips swayed left to right in a intoxicating motion. It took her little time to learn it to, which was some what fun at the time. When she grew bored, she decided to head back to Las Noches.
Entering her room through a gargantua, she did a once over of her hair before laying down on her bed to sleep. Just as she had fell asleep a knock came to her door. It obviously pissed her off, no one interrupted her sleep. So when she opened her door, she shot the fraccion a meancing glare that would scare satan himself. Apparently there was a meeting, now of all times. Like, damn, Colin. Couldn't your stupid ass wait until a bitch got some sleep? She questioned as she sent off the fraccion and sighed a bit. Brushing her hair, she took a peice of what the human's called gum. It was a minty flavor, which made her feel a bit fresh, slightly.
Heading out of her room, she slowly headed down the white hallway. Her hips swayed left to right as she had a snotty expression upon her face. Though she usually always had that expression, which she had good reason too. Placing her hands upon her hips, she came to a stop in front of the meeting door. Inhaling, she crack her neck left to right as she knew this would be her first time meeting all of the espada. Plus she had to prepare herself, the espada lord was creepy as all fuck, so she had to stay on her toes. She has also heard that the sexta was a creep as well, so her hand would have to be prepared to slap a few people. Entering inside, she took a once over of the room as she was surprised to only see two espada, and Colin of course. Pacing to her chair, she pulled it out and took her seat. Crossingg her right over her left, she sighed a bit as her right elbow touch against the arm-rest. Her chin then settled into her palm as she look to Colin. "Evening.." she coldy spoke befoe closing her eyes to wait for the rest.

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly She was nearly late, and Rou refused to be late fir anything, even it usually turned out everyone was just a lot later than herself. She had gotten distracted out in the sands with Lylie. There was a good chance she wouldn't have even noticed had she not found the perfect gift for Collie. Finding it reminded her why she had gone with the new Primera to find the man a gift in the first place. She completely left the other woman behind, rushing to make it back to Las Noches in time. There was just one problem about getting distracted from her distraction. She completely forgo to pick up her present. She didn't even notice that fact until she was speed walking down the hall that led to the familiar meeting room. Rou halted in her steps instantly, her face showing true horror. What was she supposed to do now? Not only did she not have time to go back, but she honestly had no idea where she had even found the thing. Directions were not Rou's strong point.
There was no helping it now! She would just have to figure something out later! Rou regained her look of joyful pride. She stood up perfectly straight, resuming her walk to the meeting. Her steps were widely spaced, looking elegant, but also not suiting her at all. It was far too dramatic. That didn't stop her from using her 'hero walk' though. She reached the doors to the meeting room, opening them up quickly. Inside she spotted some new faces, along with a couple of familiar ones. She only looked at one of them though, her new Lord's. She stepped into the room gracefully, wanting to show the newcomers just how much better at being an espada she was. She went on with her usual greeting that she used to give to Zelena. Now she bowed down before Colin, head lowered, her right arm crossed over her chest so her fist, though covered up by her sleeve, rested upon her heart. "Greetings, My Lord" she spoke out, still not looking up to him. It was quite the sight of loyalty to behold, fitting for a true hero. She was the best role model for the new espada to fashion themselves after. At least in that moment she was.
That didn't last much longer. Rou got up to her feet, and her mannerisms turned a one-eighty in and instantly. She leaned forward slight, hands going behind her back as a huge smile spread over her face, not that it could be seen well through all of the hair that fell into her face."Neh, Collie~" she giggled, not even realizing she was calling him by his old nickname. "I was wondering if you would come out with me later. I have a big present waiting for you! It's just... not here" she wasn't really sure how to explain it, but Rou did the best she could. She knew it was a really cool present. She'd make sure Colin got it. He might just have to wander around with her for a few days to find it again. Rou was completely okay with that plan though. She never got to spend time with Collie, and now that he was her Lord, she really needed to be around him more.
Her plans made, accepted or not, Rou got to the task of finding herself a seat. Rai hadn't shown up yet, so she couldn't just go plop down next to him like she usually did. Instead, she was forced to take on the task of finding a seat and then saving one for her absolute favorite other espada. As soon as she spotted two open seats, she rushed over to them, taking the chair next to the dark skinned lady for herself. She basically jumped into it, making it slide across the floor a few inches with a dreadful sound she was oblivious to. As soon as she landed, her legs stretched out so her feet could rest upon the next chair over. she decided that would be where Rai would sit. Now all he had to do was get there. Post by Baron La Croix on Nov 25, 2013 7:44:15 GMT -5

Well the Baron hadn't been back at Las Noches for more then a day when, rather unexpectedly, he received what could only be called a rather urgent summons. Though the source of said summons was some what unexpected! It seemed that during his months long siesta a change of power had accrued and that now instead of some headstrong and arrogant woman a man sat on the throne! Now, the man in question barely made the requirements to be called as such, but it was still better then the alternative and in the end a much needed improvement from their past situation. In fact it had been that state of affairs that had caused the Arrancar known simply as the Baron to pack his bag and depart in what could only be called a sudden and rash manner.
But... He would have been lying if he said he had not missed the grandiose and imposing structure that had been and always would be his home. Now, in all honesty he wasn't one to get sentimental over such things but... Even he who was at heart a cruel and unforgiving monster at best needed a place to hang up his hat and coat at the end of a day. And this place that had been home to monsters such as he since time out of mind was the only place he could truly and unashamedly call his own.
And so it was that yet again the halls of Las Noches rang with the soft tap of his can and the steady, slow and rhythmic sound of his steps. And while his walk was slow his heart raced! Not with fear or trepidation oh no! But with something as close to joy as he could rightly manage. A joy that could only have been overshadowed by his hunger, a hunger that while in life and even as a hollow had consumed him even as it consumed him now. A hunger that if left unsatisfied would lead to his utter destruction. La Croix rode the edge of this hunger, danced with it as he always had and while in previous life times this had caused his utter destruction, now it gave him power. A power that he held in tight check as he walked into the room that was filled with the only family he could ever have. A family that would kill him if given the chance, a family that he would never replace unless of course he found an opportunity to do so.
The doors had opened silently before him but the rap of his cane on stone echoed through the room before him, announcing his presence to any that cared to listen. To those in the room he looked like nothing more then a tall dark and skeletal shadow. His hands rested on the grip of his cane which he sat rather firmly in front of him. Then he with a small laugh he grinned a big toothy grin that almost seemed to light up the shadows around him and then with one final step he crossed the threshold and into the room proper, his features and clothing finally coming into true focus.
He was, as per usual, shirtless under a coat of dark unknowable fabric his bony frame all but made naked by those who sat in the room before him. Upon his head sat a hat that looked well loved. Dark in color with a slighter band of black running about its base, fixed upon the center of the hat where the remnants of his mask contrasting starkly with the rest of his rather colorless ensemble. And while all this was impressive in and of its self(If in a rather odd and somewhat creepy way) it was not what caused most to catch their breath nor take notice of him. No that right was reserved for his prestigious height and his striking features. The Baron stood well over nine feet tall, and while his body was that of famine its self, his face was that of an ebony Adonis. Sharp if full features with eyes that promised so much but said so little.
"Why, is good ta see ya all! Hope notin' ta' inportant went down wit out me! Would be a cryin' shame ta have missed out on ta much, ya know?" his tone was jovial, and he didn't offer any explanation nor excuse as to why he had vanished all those months previously. In fact he acted as if he had never left, and with but one last smile and a nod to Colin La Croix took his seat, the chair growing to accommodate his unique figure as he did so. With a soft content sigh he settled into place, his smile never really leaving his face.

Post by Lyra Ishigami on Nov 25, 2013 17:51:41 GMT -5
Her fingers pushed firmly through the man's ribcage, coming out the other side covered with blood and scraps of muscle, fat and skin. Oh, she could taste it on her tongue, the familiar and oh-so-wonderful metallic taste flooded her palate. It was bliss.
"Ma'am." Her eyelids slowly lifted.
Her plain stone ceiling greeted her as the daze faded. What a wonderful dream.... The woman rolled onto her side, bringing her covers with her to face the direction of the voice. A well dressed female fraccion greeted her — obviously not one of her's, as they're all currently... occupied. She reached her arms out of her blanket, wringing out all the stiffness as she stretched as far as she could. From the formal attire of the arrancar in front of him, she could only assume one thing: a summons. The woman glared at the girl standing by her bed — creepy how they just enter without knocking.
Finally, the girl took the hint. "Master Colin has summoned you, ma'am." The girl was timid — adorable.
She looked at the girl with one eye closed, still a bit foggy, understandable, seeing as how she was so rudely awoken. Shifting out of her covers, the woman pushed herself up on the edge of her bed, sitting face to face with the girl. She was cute: delicate features, groomed hair down to her shoulders, with just the hint of glow on her skin. And those plump crimson lips.... "Come, sweetie. No need to be so formal." Lyra motioned the fraccion to her side with a big smile.
The girl was reluctant, but knew better than to disobey. Carefully, she manoeuvred herself to the woman's side, cautious of her movements. Hesitantly, she took a seat next to the primera, eyes never losing contact with her's. "Ma'am, we really need to get going if we are to make it in the time the master had specified."
As the girl sat, Lyra scooched closer until their hips were touching. The smile she wore only widened as their distance began to shrink. "Oh, if he wanted me so bad, he would have come here personally, don't you think?" She whispered, leaning closer to the girl, propping herself up with one arm behind the fraccion. Her free hand crawled along the girl's shoulder, creeping centre bound to her neck and chest. The girl was clearly feeling slightly uncomfortable, but that was exactly where Lyra had wanted her. With a firm push, she shoved the girl onto the bed with her falling on top, pinning her legs with her own. "Besides, I haven't had breakfast yet." Her crescent shaped lips peeled back to reveal two rows of fangs poised to pierce her delicate skin. The girl would try to struggle ever so slightly, but that would prove to be futile. A splash of crimson quickly turned to a pool drenching everything in the beautiful colour. She could only smile: there aren't enough words to describe her ecstasy.
She carefully undressed the girl who now laid motionless amongst her (recently) crimson sheets — naturally, the man would expect her to show up in uniform. God know's where her's is. It wasn't perfect: the clothes were a little tight and didn't fit her figure quite well — and that's not even mentioning the bloodstains — but she'll make it work. And with a swift spike of her reiatsu, she left the comforts of her room.
The torches flickered down the halls as she rushed past the countless passageways, finally arriving at the entrance to their meeting hall. Her rapid movements didn't do her hair any favours, giving the term "unruly" a whole new definition. Before stepping in, she ran her fingers through a couple times, straightening and fixing what she could. She'd always had to put up a front when dealing with her own kind, and today would be no exception — a gathering like this almost never ended pleasently. Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward, entering the halls to meet her peers.
Lyra scanned the room, meeting eyes with each of the Espada who've already gathered in the room, until finally locking eyes with the man who'd sent for her. Without a word, she strode across the floor, completely inconsiderate of any sort of premeditated seating arrangements. Naturally, she took the seat nearest to their dearest leader. "If you wanted me here so bad, you should have come in person." She looked at him with unimpressed eyes. He'd undoubted notice the bloodstains on her ill-fitting uniform. "I hope you weren't overly attached to what's-her-face."

Post by Rai Abadon on Nov 25, 2013 18:43:29 GMT -5
Do you have a Light? Can you make me feel Alright? Plenty of Light to go Around It was one of those days for Rai. It was his rest day, the day where he simply sealed himself inside of his room and practically slept the entire day away. It was a way for him to recharge and regain his mass reserves of energy, one that didn't require much effort. Hell, the only person he really allowed to see him during one of these days was Rou. And that was simply for that fact that he couldn't stay mad at her, much less deny her some sort of adventure that usually led them both near death. Well, he couldn't deny that he's tried multiple times to sway her away from adventure on one of these days.
however, his sleep was interrupted. And by some lowly Arrancar he didn't even know the name of. He groaned, sitting up in his bed. "Why did you come here" Rai asked, his voice practically hollow as he held up his hand towards the intruder. A small orb started to glow, giving a very direct warning to the messenger. However, the orb diminished when the black haired boy said something about Colin and a meeting. Rai's face turned sour, as he started to pout slightly. Of fucking course Colin would choose his rest day to hold some meeting.
The Segunda got up, sighing and pushing the other arrancar aside as he walked his way towards the meeting room. Rai didn't care a single bit if he was late or not, he was in a rather bad mood and still carried a pouting face as he walked. Upon reaching the door to the room, he gave another sigh, and then pushed the doors open. He wasn't shocked to see that the majority of the espada already assembled, and that he was practically the last to show up.
He walked up towards Colin, before bowing slightly. "Lord.." He said softly, before standing straight. Rai never truly liked Colin. He was rather..intense. far too intense for Rai. And he couldn't help but wonder exactly why and how Colin became the new Espada Lord, much less why he was hiding such power. For all he knew, Colin was the head of a coup and the invasion was just an easy way for him to assume control of the Espada. But, Rai dismissed that thought. That's how Arrancars are, there was no changing them. Hell, he knew that if he had the power, he would do the exact same thing. Maybe for different reasons, or even for a different cause, but it was inside of him.
Rai turned on his heel, noticing that a certain someone was holding a seat next to her. he could only assume it was for him, so he moved towards her, ignoring the entire number seating system. Rai waited for Rou to move her legs, before sitting down next to her and shooting her a quick smile. "Do you want to do something after the meeting, Rou?" He asked, figuring he might as well attempt to make his day better.
