Tags: This needs to happen Just a walk in the French town of romance was enough to relax Gabriel. He had been stressing himself out lately. Meeting his new Captain Commander, getting involved in an underground poker tournament... what in the world was even going on anymore? He didn't even think he wanted to know. The world was slowing going insane, making his job as a hero even harder. Although, he was currently in a serene moment, walking along the streets. The calm before the storm, huh? He knew it was only a matter of time before all hell broke loose, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the moment.
It seemed he thought too soon. He overheard screaming coming from a block or so away. Gabriel rushed to the scene, passing though walls and buildings just to get there. He was lucky he didn't have his gigai on, otherwise he'd have to do bothersome things.. like turning. He got there in a short amount of time, seeing only the body of a woman. He assumed it was the source of the scream from before, and decided to take off after whatever it was that put her like this.
He spotted the man running away, like a coward. A true villain would patiently wait for the hero to come and fight them. That didn't stop Gabriel from sensing them, though. It seemed to be the reiatsu of an arrancar that wasn't very far ahead. He could catch up if he went fast enough. He had to find him. He had to hunt down this man. Well, not man. This was a monster. He had witnessed this monster commit a heinous crime, but couldn't do a thing about it. He had to find a way to stalk his prey... kill it. He didn't want it to murder anything else without reason. Killing was just plain wrong, which was why Gabriel knew he had to take it into custody and jail it. He had to store it in a place that was inescapable, so it could repent for the crimes. Any other way was far too gruesome for a hero to do.
This led to a short chase, involving Gabriel hopping atop all sorts of buildings just to keep up. This guy seemed to know he was behind him, and he wasn't slowing down. It was only when they made their way to the eiffel tower that Gabriel knew he'd catch up. There was no way the man could out-climb him. This guy began climbing up, but Gabriel was way ahead of him. He jumped up, going halfway up the entire tower, but the other man decided to just go back down. That was only making things easier for the hero.
Gabriel launched himself down, aiming himself at the man. He was going to tackle him down to the ground and lock him up. There was no escape. Although it seemed Gabriel had underestimated his strength. As soon as he collided with the man, particularly his head, it smashed into the ground and splattered all over the place. "Well, fuck.." Gabriel knew he screwed up, and didn't feel like cleaning up his mess. HAN: 15 REI: 15 HAK: 20 SEI: 10 BUK: 18 HOH: 20 |

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly Everything was calming down in Hueco Mundo, or at least as calm as it could get. Rai was all healed, and Colin was running things smoothly, even if he was a total meanie. With the calm after the storm, Rou took to her purpose. She had missed out on a lot of scouting since the whole mess in the Soul Society happened. Rou was starting to lose that adventure that ruled over her life. As a hero, this was something she could not idly let happen. Just as soon as she told Rai goodbye, giving him the duty of telling Collie about her travels, she set out to the Human World, not really sure what she was going to do, but she had a feeling that it was going to be absolutely grand. She wound up in a place that felt familiar to her. That only gave Rou an even better feeling. She knew that in her human life she had been quite the hero, a legend. It was that kind of familiar feeling. This would be the place of a great arc in her story. She ran through the streets with a large smile, turning every now and then, getting completely lost in only a matter of minutes. That was hardly her concern though. She didn't care about finding her way. Rou cared about the evil force that made fate bring her here. It was then that she came upon a big, black feline like hollow. It was the most glorious thing Rou had ever seen. She completely stopped in her tracks, staring down the magnificent beast for a good five minutes, neither of them making a move. The hollow was at least ten feet tall, its mask covering all of its face, but Rou could still tell it had regal eyes beneath that. It was clear in an instant that there was a connection made there. Out of nowhere, Rou burst forward, approaching the hollow. She pulled herself up onto its back by its thick, yet soft fur. She sat on its back, fisting its fur in her hands. It felt so right. This would be her steed. The hollow wasn't so in favor of the actions Rou had taken. Just as soon as she was secured on its back, the beast took off running in a wild sprint, trying to get her off of its back at all costs. Rou only kept her grip, looking out ahead as the hollow raced along the streets, not really catching onto the hollow's purposes for running so fast or violently. They grew close to a tower that caught a majority of Rou's attention. It was just some steel structure that made an odd shape. It clearly wasn't a castle or a fort, just a fascinating landmark. She must have been in a powerful place if they were able to flaunt such a proud structure. As she was admiring it though, she saw something rather strange. Two men were coming flying down from the tower. Rou was able to control the hollow enough to get it to head in that direction, and it ran toward the tower, as regal looking as any steed of the Hero's was expected to. She didn't reach the tower in time though. Just as she got there, one man's head hit the ground, and basically became what was no longer distinguishable as a head. Rou pulled on the hollow's fur, bring it to a halt. She then looked to the other male that had come flying down. Instantly her gut tightened up, and her eyes widened. She recognized what it was. "What have you done? Why are you here?" she called down to the shinigami, suddenly filled with excitement. Her voice was as stern as it could get, which was hardly threatening or demanding. She would be lucky if it got classified beyond cute. Her face was a bit more serious though. She had at least gotten her smile to go away and get her eyes narrowed in a menacing way. That lasted a few seconds. Then she was back to showing the look of an excited child. How could she not be excited? Fate had brought her right to an evil shinigami. It was taking her on a heroic journey. My Steed HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 15 BUK:19 HOH:19

Tags: CLEAN UP THIS MESS Gabriel looked down at his feet, seeing blood and what he assumed was brains stuck to his toes. It was times like this in which he really wished he had worn shoes, but his mind didn't need to dwell on that! He felt two more presences and looked up. He saw a female riding on a hollow like it was a noble steed. It was quite the sight, but it wasn't a sight he really cared for. She spoke to him as if he was the one in the wrong. Gabriel didn't feel the need to explain himself to anyone. Instead of immediately acknowledging her, he wiped off his feet on the clothing of the now dead arrancar. He didn't get it all off, but at least it was something.
It wasn't as if he cared for the female arrancar who had approached. In all honesty, she could go elsewhere and he'd be just fine. As the hero, he needed to find and stop villains, not chitchat with women. He made eye contact with her, after basically ignoring her presence, and stepped off of the dead man. He walked towards her and placed his hands on his hips, doing his super pose. He found his pose to be impressive, but the blood on his feet made him grimace a bit. It wasn't fun to feel the drying blood on his feet with every movement, but he had to keep up the heroic appearance.
"Splendid. Here to do my hero duties. Protecting this city, and every city, against all evil." He assumed that was a good enough introduction, so he turned to his mess. Even if he didn't want to clean it, he had to. Just leaving a body there wasn't his thing. He wished he had brought his SSSSSuper Squad with him on his heroic journey of relaxation, but he wouldn't have relaxed if they were with him. It dawned on him that this arrancar woman would help him out with the cleanup, and if he played his cards right she could do it all while he pretended to clean.
Gabriel peered over his shoulder at the woman, "Hey.. Could you offer assistance? This needs cleaning." He looked back at the blood and brains puddle and made a disgusted face. This wasn't how this was supposed to end, but at least this guy learned his lesson. That was when he remembered the body of the woman a mile or so back. He would have to collect it later on. This woman didn't need to see any more dead bodies than she already had. He didn't want to put anyone through that kind of thing. HAN: 15 REI: 15 HAK: 20 SEI: 10 BUK: 18 HOH: 20 |

The Tears of the Sky Words: ### || Tags: blah name || Notes: words A Light Shining Brightly This shinigami, she didn't understand what he was. He claimed he was a hero just like her. She hated to admit it to, but his heroic pose was top notch, quite the threat to her own. That was impossible though. She was a hero, and he was among her sworn enemy, the absolute worst of the worst. Rou was absolutely appalled by the things the shinigami was asking of her too. Her mouth fell right open and she blankly stared at him, her face void of anything but shock. He wanted her to help him clean up his evil deeds? How could he ever think she would assist him? After a few moments she was finally capable of putting thoughts together once again. She pursed her lips and glared down at the shinigami, looking very serious now, even if it resembled a child's pout. It was still absolutely terrifying.
"I will not help you with what you are doing, evil one" she announced in a proud voice, sitting up straight on her steed. She released its fur with one of her hands, pointing at the man with a very serious finger. If she wanted to, Rou could have blasted him away right then and there. That wasn't very hero-like though. Because of that she did not stoop down to his level, withholding her power for the time being. "I don't know who you think you are, but you aren't a hero" she announced accusingly. "You got that!?" she bit in with that childish tone of hers, sounding more like she was throwing a fit now more than anything. She gave a firm nod, finalizing her announcements. She looked at him for another long moment, trying to figure him out. This was all so confusing to her. It almost made her head hurt. Rou let out a small whine, closing her eyes tightly.
Out of nowhere her eyes flew open, and her hands went back to the hollow's fur. She gave a rough, controlling tug, making it set off in a dead run again. Under her control though, the beast didn't simply just run away. Instead, she made it circle back down the street she had come own in the first place. Once she was roughly one hundred feet down the street, she gave another hard yank, bringing the feline hollow to a stop. It turned around, allowing them both to face the shinigami once again. Instantly Rou reached into her sleeves, releasing her butterfly blades from their holsters. She held her arms out to her side, making sure the man knew she had drawn her weapons. There was no way he wouldn't surrender with the sight of the fearsome arrancar on the back of her noble steed.
"Give yourself up, and I won't have to kill you!" she called out in as fearsome a voice as she could muster. She figured taking the shinigami into Collie would be even better than killing it. He always brought prisoners back to his castle. This one would be better than any gift she ever got for him. Usually he didn't like her gifts for some reason. This would be different though! That was all under the theory the shinigami would be too scared to even move though, which he reasonably should have been. She had been to his home. Stories of her triumph must have spread like wildfire. That got her smile to come back finally. She almost let out a squeal and a giggle of joy. Actually, she did. Rou just wasn't aware that it was out loud. HAN: 14 REI:15 HAK:18 SEI: 15 BUK:19 HOH:19
