MOYASUIt had been a while since Canaan had ventured to Heuco Mundo, let alone the Menos Forest. It was no surprise that the place still looked the same, nothing had changed, not that she was bothered. She had come here with a purpose, that purpose being that she was board and decided some Menos Grande slaying would cure that. However, she had been walking for the past ten minutes, only letting a teasing fraction of her spiritual pressure detectable. Though, much to her annoyance, no Hollow nor Menos Grande dared to approach her, in fact, now that she though about it, she could hardly sense any, which was odd. She frowned, all her senses on high alert, she had a gut feeling something was not right.
Regardless of said gut feeling, she carried on walking through the forest, idly scanning it's surroundings. She was not really afraid, her skills were more than formidable, she was sure of that. Further, very few people could actually beat her, so she did not really care. However, her eyes opened marginally when she felt a rather large burst of Reiatsu. She focused on the burst of Reiatsu, it was powerful, almost, hell maybe even equal to her own. She began to tingle all over, a fight was imminent. A feral grin made its way onto her face, it was the Reiatsu of an Espada, and if she had to guess, he or she was either the Primera or the Second in Command. The latter position of which she had only been informed a month or so ago about.
She decided against using shunpo, she would get there eventually, and judging by the Reiatsu's position, he or she was not moving. She figured that he was the reason as to why there was no Menos or Hollows in the area, maybe they were scared, or perhaps he/she had killed them all. She could careless, all she knew now was that her boredom was going to taken care off. If this Espada was a wimp, she would kill him. If the Espada was strong, she would be him/her.
She was about a hundred or so feet away from the Espada's position, she even caught a glimpse of him through the trees. She scoffed, he did not look tough, but then again, appearances can be deceiving and what not. She debated as to how she would start this fight, sure she could go in loud and hard, but that's boring, she was a Captain, she had class and tactics. So, that's why, when she was thirty feet from what she could now see as a large opening, almost to perfect for a battle, she unleashed her full spiritual power, making it reach it's peak.
She grinned and continued to walk, not bothering to let up on the spiritual pressure, if he or she could not deal with, it was there problem. She decided to speak now, better to introduce herself now than later, her opponent might be dead later.
My, my, what is an Espada doing all on his lonesome? Trying to find your Queen? She entered the opening and chuckled darkly, if anything the Espada in question she knew. Well, rather she had heard about, he was apparently the Second in Command or something of the Espada. In other words, the Queen's bitch. She had no intention of jumping straight into a fight with this guy, if anything, she would make him make the first move. She enjoyed fighting, no point in rushing it.
Tch. You will never find her, from what I heard she was killed by a sacrificial Kido, along with our previous Head-Captain. I bet you must feel like shit, huh. If you had been stronger, you could have defeated your opponent and saved her, but, you were weak, and she died. Alone. In such an unfitting way for a Queen. She sighed, then reached for her Zanpakuto with her right hand, drawing it from it's sheath and swiping it diagonally through the air, before letting it rest by her side.
Regardless of that fact, Espada, my name is Canaan Arterius, Captain of Squad Six. She offered a nod of her head as a greeting, before taking of her Captain's Haori and letting it fall to the floor.
