quote or lyrics here; not too long FACE CLAIM:Vampire Knight — Headmaster Kaien Cross
HEIGHT:6 feet 5 inches (195.5 cm)
WEIGHT:182 lbs (82.5 kg)
APPEARANCE: Often towering over other members of the Consecro, George deliberately attempts to appear distant and almost perfect. His blond hair is kept in a simple ponytail, which he never changes, and he keeps himself clean shaven. His outfit consists of a simple long sleeved white shirt, accented with a blue bar on the left side and collar, with a blue bar diagonally cutting slightly down to the vertical bar, meeting at the heart. His pants are equally simple, accented with blue along the side, with completely white shoes. Over this, he wears a light blue cloak, which extends all the way down to the bottom of his pants. Underneath the cloak, his claymore is strapped across his back, with the hilt jutting out so that he can draw the sword without needing to remove his cloak. His Quincy cross dangles from his left wrist on a simple chain. A non-Quincy cross hangs about his neck. His glasses correct for slight nearsightedness.

DISLIKES:Fighting Hollows Unnecessary conversation Nobility
NEGATIVE TRAITS:Cold Seemingly indifferent Somewhat ruthless when forced to fight Passive Manipulative
POSITIVE TRAITS:Patient Loyal Courageous Very religious Attempts to avoid fighting Respectful
EXTRAS:While he rather passive when dealing with the other obelisks, his keen intellect and cold but respectful tone tend to ensure that when he speaks, which is not particularly often, people listen to him. A passive leader, George prefers to guide situations rather than actively leading, manipulating situations and people to his (or the church's) benefit. He prefers to work alone, but will work with others if the situation demands it. Whether or not he is in battle or simply strolling through the Vatican, George is always calm, showing little emotion. He is very slow to anger, to the point where many think he is not even capable of being angry. Though he will attempt to avoid battle at any cost, when he fights, George is all but merciless- he is the obelisk of patience, not kindness. Further, should he be faced with a fight, he will not back down unless he absolutely must, and will defend anyone he is fighting with to the death. He feels the that serving the church is his priority, and is willing to go to any lengths to defend it.
quote or lyrics here; not too long WEAPONS:8x Seele Schneider 4xGinto In addition, George has a Claymore- a Scottish variant on the Longsword. The cross guard angles slightly up, forming a very wide V-shape, and the pommel of the blade is adored with a large sapphire in its center. The blade narrows only slightly before coming rapidly to a point, and while it is not the sharpest of blades, its real power is in the weight of the blows. The sheath is a dark blue with silver capping it. Silver filigree coats the the sheath, in a pattern, leaving much of the blue uncovered. He also carries a shorter sword that can be wielded with either one or two hands. This sword is much more simplistic in design, with an undecorated cross guard and hilt. Its pommel is simply made of steel, the same as the rest of the hilt, though the pommel is relatively small, due to the fuller running down the length of the blade, lightening it. The blade itself is straight edged before coming to a point at its tip, the fuller(slight indentation running down the center of the blade) ending about two inches below the tip. Its sheath is a dark blue capped with steel at its tip. BOW:George's bow takes the form a silver recurve bow, almost straight in the middle before curving back sharply and then curving forward again to be flat at the tips. A left handed bow about sixty inches (152 cm) in length, from tip to tip, with a very long draw for its size, it is a very powerful bow, wielded by a master. The arrows are formed as George pulls back the string, completely forming within less than a second, though the power of the arrow depends on the draw as well as how much energy George pours into it. He is capable of materializing the bow in less than one second and dematerializing it just as quickly. Having used the same bow since the age of 14, he is intimately familiar with all of the features of the bow and knows exactly what its strengths and weaknesses are. QUINCY CROSS:As befitting his image, George's cross is very simple, a Quincy pentacle inscribed within a circle, with a second circle surrounding the center of the pentacle. The entire cross is made of silver, and hangs on a silver chain, kept on his left wrist. In the center of the cross, there is a small gem, a diamond, sitting at the point where the five prongs of the pentacle come together. The outer ring is 1.5 inches (3.9 cm) in diameter, and the inner ring is 0.5 inches (1.25 cm) in diameter. SANREI GLOVE:
BOW/GINTO TECHNIQUES:Name: Lichtschein Item used: Bow Type: Offensive Cost: Low Range: Mid-Long Cooldown: 2 posts between usages Description: The arrow that forms on Engel does not appear to be any different from the arrows it usually creates, however, upon impact, it releases a massive flair of light intended to temporarily blind any nearby enemy to allow George to escape or prepare another attack.
Name: Schnur Item used: Ginto/Seele Schneider Type: Defensive Cost: Low Range: Short-Mid Cooldown: 1 post between usages Description: To activate Schnur, George pours the energy stored in the Ginto onto the metal portion of the Seele Schneider before firing. This causes a cord to be formed, extending from the back of the Seele Schneider to the bow itself. Once the Seele Schneider is fired, unless it flies more than 50 meters away, George can activate the technique and pull the Seele Schneider back toward himself.
Name: Scheinen Item used: Bow Type: Offensive Cost: High Range: Mid Cooldown: 5 posts between usages Description: The arrow that forms on Engel is unchanged, but when released, multiplies into eight, coming one after the other in a line, but slightly off from each other so that they each hit different points. Each arrow is as strong as a normal arrow and appears identical to a normal arrow. However, due to the fact that it is essentially firing eight arrows at once, it is extremely tiring. QUINCY: VOLLSTANDIG
name: Schutzengel
description: In his Vollständig, all of George's techniques and arrows become golden rather than blue. Schutzengel changes his clothing considerably, becoming entirely white, and morphing his shirt into a more robe-like garment that is long sleeved and form fitting on his upper torso, but much more flowing from the waist down. Further, armor forms on his left arm and torso, covering the top portion of the robe, but his right arm is left free for easier movement. The cloak he wears transforms into a much shorter cape that extends only to his waist, and a belt holding his Seele Schneiders and Gintos forms at his waist. The armor on his chest and left arm consist of several overlapping plates, to allow for greater movement, with the strap holding the Claymore on his back resting on top of the armor. A golden Quincy pentacle appears on the plate above his heart, and a halo of golden energy forms above his head, along with a pair of wings which connect to the back of the armor.

techniques: For: Vollständig Name: Erhellen Type: Offensive Cooldown: 5 posts between usages Cost: High Range: Short Description: George creates the arrow as normal, but when he fires, the arrow vanishes just past the grip of the bow in a flash of light. A moment later, between 75 and 200 arrows erupt from the ground around George, in a circle of diameter 5-15 meters. Both the Radius and number of arrows depend on how much energy George puts into the technique. The arrows are completely identical to the normal arrows fired in Vollständig in both appearance and power.
For: Vollständig Name: Tagansbruch Type: Offensive Cooldown: 5 posts between usages Cost: Medium Range: Mid-Long Description: Effectively a combination and improvement of Scheinen and Lichtschein, Tagansbruch fires off 16 arrows, all of which give off a brilliant pulse of light immediately upon hitting their target, leaving anyone in the vicinity who didn’t protect their eyes temporarily blind.
For: Vollständig Name: Genesis Type: Offensive Cooldown: 6 posts between usages Cost: High Range: Long Description: The arrow is formed, as normal, however, when released, a high powered beam of energy is fired. The beam appears very similar to a rather small cero, golden like all Schutzengel abilities and arrows. The beam can be maintained for only a short period and is very exhausting, as each second the beam is maintained, it uses the same energy as 50 normal arrows.
For: Vollständig Name: Sonnenlicht Type: Defensive, 3 posts duration Cooldown: 4 posts between useages Cost: Medium-High Range: Short Description: A small shield of golden energy forms in the area George wants to deflect an incoming attack. The Shield is capable of stopping even a powerful cero, but at intense cost to George. The more powerful the attack launched, the more energy it takes to block it. In addition, the shield's strength also depends on how much George is paying attention to it. If he focuses all his attention on it, Kraft is capable of blocking all but the strongest attacks (a high cost attack from a character with SEI or HAK 2 less than George, or any other attack from a character with SEI or HAK 2 greater than George).
QUOTE OR LYRICS HERE; NOT TOO LONG HISTORY:As the third child and third son of the Earl of Lincoln, George had no hope at all to inherit his father's title or much of his wealth. Yet despite this, George was by far the most powerful of the Earl's three children. Even with the slight natural advantage of being a pureblood, George's abilities far outstripped those of most others his age. However, George's family did not care for their heritage. His father and eldest brother concerned themselves with their station in parliament and maintaining their wealth and position, his mother felt it was best left to the past, and his other brother cared little for the intense training and lifestyle he would need to become an expert. The entire family was very religious, and the local minister, a half-blood, was George's first teacher, at the age of six. The minister realized quickly that he was training a prodigy and immediately went to the Earl and urged him to find proper teacher for George, or to train him himself. George's father considered this, but his wife utterly objected to it, as she hated the fact that they were Quincys, and told George that he was never to see the minister again, and ensured the minister's all but immediate removal from their church. George was outraged, and this incident created a rift between him and his mother that has not been healed, and engendered a dislike for the nobility.
Furious at his family, George insisted upon being educated away from home, and his father reluctantly agreed to allow it. The school George chose was located in Kiel, Germany, and coincidentally, the headmaster of the school was a Quincy Grandmaster. Within a few weeks of arriving in Kiel, George had met with the Grandmaster, Matthias Stein, and began learning from him shortly thereafter. Much like the half-blood minister before him, Herr Stein almost instantly realized that George was a Quincy prodigy, and one that would require much patience to teach. At this time, at the age of only six, George was far from the man of endless patience that he would become- that was something that he learned from Herr Stein. Herr Stein began an intense training regime intended not only to strengthen George, but to instill within him the virtue of patience. He accomplished this by refusing to teach George in the arts of the bow until he was older. For the next three years, George's training was entirely to strengthen his body and mind, to make him an expert strategist and strong enough to fight off Herr Stein without weapons.
After the first time George defeated Herr Stein, he was told to return home and visit with his family for five months before Herr Stein would begin his training again. Reluctantly, George returned home for the first time in three years. His family welcomed him home, though his cold demeanor toward them worried his parents, and they wondered if he was still angry with them for refusing to let him become a Quincy. As the time passed, they quickly realized that George seemed to be unusually concerned about his physical state for a nine year old, and his father eventually came to realize that he intended to learn the ways of the Quincys even if his mother forbid it. So the Earl decided it would be better to accept this fact and not tell his wife about it. When the time came for George to return to Kiel, his father gave him a Quincy cross as a going away present. The bow it manifested was to large for George at the time, so he would not be able to use it at first.
Upon his return to Kiel, Herr Stein immediately began his training in the arts of the Quincy. George was given a Kojaku, the most basic of Quincy bows, to begin his training. He would be given another bow when Herr Stein felt that he had outgrown the Kojaku. If the training before was intense, what George endured now was all but hell. Over the next three years, he was lucky to get six hours of sleep a night, and several times went without sleep for a few days. For not only was he maintaining the training that he had already been enduring, as well as mastering the abilities of the Quincys, but he was also learning swordsmanship, since the Quincys are by nature, a ranged race. Under Herr Stein's training, George mastered Hirenkyaku in two years, and a year after that, at the age of twelve, began using a Ginrei Kojaku. His training lighted a little bit at this point, but only because his school work increased by a comparable amount, leaving him in the same position he had been since the age of nine.
At the age of fourteen, George finally was able to use Engel, the bow that his father had given him. At the same time, he began using a Claymore in his training with swords, now using the weapons he would use later on in life as an obelisk. Engel was a very difficult bow to learn how to use, owing to its unique abilities- it took him over three months to master Lichtschein, its basic technique. Mastering Scheinen was even more difficult and took the better part of a whole year to master. At the age of sixteen, George had mastered both of Engel's techniques, and had begun to learn the uses of Gintos and Seele Schniders, augmenting his abilities still further.
However, his training was temporarily suspended when he was seventeen because Herr Stein suffered a heart attack. After the heart attack, Herr Stein was unable to train George by example and combat, but only as an instructor from the sidelines. Herr Stein insisted upon hiring another Quincy to train with George, though the Quincy that was hired wasn't as strong as Herr Stein desired. Never the less, George continued training under Herr Stein until he graduated from the school.
George graduated from his school at the top of his class, as well as having mastered most of the abilities of the Quincy. Rather than return to England after school, George instead traveled to Leipzig, to learn as much as he could about Vollständig, which his mentor had been reluctant to teach him about, mainly because he knew very little about it. So George went to Lindens, who after making him swear to never tell anyone what he learned without their permission, allowed him access to their archives. George spent three months in Leipzig, learning everything he could about Vollständig. Following this, he left Germany and returned to England, where he was given the Claymore he now uses as a welcome home present from his father. George spent the next several months training to enter Vollständig, which he was able to after seven months of training, but was unable to hold it for long. It wasn't until he was twenty that he was able to activate Schutzengel for any meaningful amount of time.
Over the next two years, George discovered and mastered the new techniques he was granted in Vollständig, and left Britain again, this time permanently. He traveled to Rome, where he ran into the half-blood minister who had been his first teacher. After recovering from the shock of seeing his old mentor for the first time since he was a child, George and the minister had lunch together, and the minister brought him back to the Vatican, where he became a member of the Consecro. George was appointed as a Guardian alongside his former mentor, but shortly thereafter, the old minister died of stroke. George spent the next two years as a member of the Consecro before he was appointed to be the Obelisk of Patience due to his power and seemingly endless patience. RP SAMPLE:"Again." the old man snapped. Engel formed in George's hand in under a second and he drew the sting back, the arrow forming as he pulled it back.
"Scheinen," he said sharply, watching dispassionately as the eight arrows formed and flew off the bow toward the hollow shaped target Herr Stein had set up earlier. The old man's eyes narrowed as the arrows smashed into the target. He waited for a moment before turning back to George. "Again."
The arrows shot forward with less speed then before, as George was obviously becoming exhausted from the repeated usage of a technique which had only just begun to master. George held Engel rather loosely at his side as he observed the arrows deal even more damage to the already half destroyed target. He was, however, disappointed- the arrows struck too close together, meaning that the injuries would be intense, but localized. In other words, he'd need to hit a vital area for it to be fatal.
"You have made good progress," the old man said. "I would not have been able to utilize such a powerful technique with the skill you have when I was your age." George, though exhausted, stood a little taller as Herr Stein praised him. "Dankeschon, Herr Stein," George responded, a touch of pride coloring his voice. "It means a great deal that you think I have some skill." The old man smiled and chuckled a little at George's description of his abilities as "Some Skill." Herr Stein paused, and George tensed, tightening his grip on Engel as the old man held out his right hand- the one he wore the Sanrei glove on.
George didn't waste any time, using Hirenkyaku to put some distance between himself and his mentor, bringing his bow up and firing an arrow off at the old man. Herr Stein fired an arrow from his own bow before dodging the one George had flung at him, beginning their mock battle. The sixteen year old prodigy was easily holding his own against the aging grandmaster, and George thought that it might be possible for him to beat the old man this time. But that was only a fleeting thought as Herr Stein intensified the barrage of arrows he was flinging at his student. Using Hirenkyaku to remove himself from the flight path of his teacher's projectiles, he drew the string of his bow back, waiting for the right moment.
"Lichtschein." said George, utterly emotionlessly, as he released the string. The arrow soared across the clearing and missed Herr Stein by only an inch or so. An instant later, the light flared, but neither combatant was affected, as George had shielded his eyes, and Herr Stein had his back to the burst of light. Herr Stein sent another flurry of arrows at his student, which George easily evaded before he used the same technique as before, this time firing it at his master's feet. Herr Stein leapt backwards, only to be briefly blinded by the flare of light, allowing George to strike his teacher in the shoulder with a well aimed arrow.
"Halt!" called the old man, and George froze with Engel at full draw. Aiming upwards, he released the last arrow and let it fly into the darkening sky. Releasing his grip, Engel shifted into energy before collapsing back into the cross. George stood, covered in sweat from the intensity of the training and the mock battle as the old man healed himself. "Very well done, George. Very well done indeed." George nodded and thanked his teacher as he gathered his things. By now it was approaching ten o'clock at night, so Herr Stein called an end to the training for the day.
As he headed back toward the school's dorms, George's mind returned to his research on Vollständig. As his teacher used a Sanrei Glove, he had little information on the subject of Vollständig, so George had been forced to research elsewhere- perhaps he would contact the Lindens. They were, after all, one of the oldest pureblood families in Germany. They would almost certainly have some knowledge of the subject.
