Ania Charis Words: 457 Notes: lets get this party started Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Right after her meeting with Pride who finally showed up in the human world, Ania immediately returned to the Vatican, summoning up all of her Obelisks. It was more than likely she wouldn't have to be kept waiting very long. Her obelisks were usually not ones to be late like some kind of heathens. She had requested the word urgent be included in whoever was delivering her word. This was an urgent matter after all. Pride had come to the city and while she had not yet launched her attack it would only be a matter of time. She wanted her Obelisks ready for whatever was to come.
Her meeting hall was grand, far too big for just the table for the obelisks and her own throne. Behind it was nearly four-thousand square feet of nothing but white tile and empty space. She sat in this grand hall, not having the slightest inclination to get up from her waiting spot nor move a muscle. She was seated upon a pure white throne of marble intricately sculpted and preserved from the times of some of the earliest Micans Nitores. It was placed on a matching marble platform ten feet off of the ground. Her right leg was crossed over her left, arms placed in her lap as she sat up straight like a true queen. Really she just figured this would be the best way to meet pride who could only be so far away herself. She would be the one up higher whenever Leto came in through the large doors that were just a long tables length away from her.
On the outside she looked completely calm with no real expression save for a smile she always wore. On the inside though she was a bundle of excitement. She wasn't exactly glad that it had come down to putting people in danger. She just knew that this would be an easy way for her, as well as her trusted Obelisks, to bring an end to the beasts. To see Pride with a surprise look on her face as Ania blasted her to nothing but ash, that would be something Ania would give anything to see. She even gained a slightly larger smile at that thought itself. "Don't disappoint me and keep me waiting too, Pride" she said to herself, giggling a bit with her joy though it was much darker than it seemed outwardly. It passed over quickly. Not only was Leto sure to arrive soon, but her underlings who had nothing but this great view of her would also being showing up. She couldn't be giving off the feeling of a psychopath when they showed up.

Tahno sat cross-legged on the edge of the Fountain of the Eagle. He was in the midst of the papal gardens – and at a rather popular destination for tourists – but the foot traffic had been non-existent today. With the good weather and no people, it was the perfect set of conditions for a little practice with Tianshang Shengmu. He took a deep breath as the old jade comb glowed with eerie green light and the water in the fountain began to ripple up into the air. He stretched out his hands, keeping them close together as he focused on the feel of the water. He slowly pulled his hands apart, forcing the water to mimic his movements and turn into a thin, compressed strand. The water stretched thinner and thinner until he jerked his hands, causing the water to split into a thousand needles. Matky zuřivost was one of the more difficult techniques he’d learned with Tianshang Shengmu. He had never been able to control more than a thousand at a time, but that was plenty for whatever he came up against. The problem lay in how precise and swift he could be with all one thousand needles. Taking another deep breath, he began to maneuver the needles – just a few at first. Pleased with the speed and precision, he added several more to the maneuvers.
He continued this for perhaps an hour before he felt someone approaching. Within seconds, he returned the water to the pond, dismissed Tianshang Shengmu, and had freed his hair of the comb. He tucked the comb into his belt and assumed a more meditative pose as a messenger ran up to him, huffing and puffing as he arrived. The messenger gasped for breath, trying to relay his message quickly – and failing miserably. Tahno smiled gently. “Take a few deep breaths, boy. I understand your message is surely of great import, but you cannot share it if you have no breath.” The messenger nodded and practically gulped down lungfuls of air, like a drowning man. The thought made Tahno chuckle. After a few such lungfuls, the messenger was finally composed enough to inform Tahno that his presence was urgently needed in the Obelisk meeting hall. He sighed and nodded. “I will go immediately. Thank you and Godspeed, should I not be the last Obelisk you need to find.”
As the messenger departed, Tahno stretched his legs and swung them over the side so that they rested firmly on the ground. He wondered what could have gotten the Micans’ panties in a twist. She normally seemed like such a placid and sweet individual. It was strange and a little unsettling. He had best make haste – but first, he had to smooth his appearance. He brushed off his coat, particularly where he had sat on it, before checking his reflection in the fountain. Finding it presentable, he turned smartly on heel and made his way to the meeting hall. He paused briefly outside the door to ensure maximum composure before quickly slipping into the hall. As his eyes swept the room, he noted that he was the first one to show up. As always, his punctuality worked against him. He liked to have a slightly larger audience for his entrances, that they might see the effort put into his appearance. It didn’t matter whether they cared or not, so long as they noticed.
With a mental shrug, he strode forward to greet his fearless leader. With a warm smile, he bowed to his leader. “Micans Nitore.” He straightened up and looked her in the eye. “I assume there is something of immense importance to discuss. I pray my fellow Obelisks will not keep you waiting very long.”

Post by ADELE GLADIEUX on Aug 7, 2013 20:54:32 GMT -5
Sleep. It was all that consumed Adele’s mind as a furious slamming ripped her from her groggy state. Her hours had always been more than a tad wonky, but today was a new low. She pulled a nearby pillow over her head, screaming something incoherently through the fluffy fabric in an attempt to shoo away whoever was attempting to bother her. Yet still the knocking continued. Adele tore herself from her bed, swearing on her father’s grave she was going to give the annoying stranger a bit more than a few welts to remember his visit. Shouting a couple mispronounced profanities, she stumbled across the room and flung open the door, fist raised, only to see a written note by her feet. What a pussy.
Her appointment as Obelisk of Diligence had been a recent development and, as such, Adele hadn’t fully adjusted to her new position. Before she would receive orders and mostly ignore them; now, since she was supposedly intended to provide some sort of guidance, she actually had to consider her actions. When she’d accepted the position, she mostly assumed she’d be spending her time whacking Hell-dwelling, sinful motherfuckers. Not having someone breathing down her neck while she did it was just a working bonus. The reality of the matter was a little different. While she was certainly expected to fight, the Obelisks were still required to follow orders, though not from each other. Their leader was the Mican’s Nitore.
Speaking of the mysterious individual, before her appointment Adele had only heard of the divine lady. She’d held a decent amount of interest in the subject, but she could rarely press the topic past the title; most people just had no idea who she was. Adele was, as an Obelisk, permitted to know the identity of the Micans Nitore. While she’d only met her one, Adele was infatuated with the woman as if God himself had come down and presented himself to her. There was very little that the Micans Nitore could ask that Adele wouldn’t hasten to do. Take a bullet? Gladly. Kill another member of the Consecro? She’d pulverize them into the dust. So when the orders were mere summons to assemble, the new Obelisk quickly donned her usual attire, tidied up a bit, and set out for the meeting hall.
It didn’t take Adele long to enter the meeting hall, especially considering her brisk pace. She unshouldered her Sigil, gently placing the cumbersome steel shield upright beside her, as she knelt before her glorious leader. “I came as soon as I received the urgent summons.”
[/b] As she rose, Adele quickly scanned the room, clicking her tongue as she noticed the only other Obelisk that had arrived. Chastity had to be the most pansy-ass title of the lot, right next to charity. She wasn’t particularly familiar with the rest of her peers; caring about the higher echelons of the command structures really hadn’t been a priority to her during her time as a Guardian. She had, however, done a tab bit of research. At the very least she knew their names and titles. Anything further than that was out of her scope. Surǽlia’s mind had wandered as her pace moved her through the streets of Rome. There wasn’t much to think about at the time, but these walks were the best things for fertilizing thought, even if the thoughts were empty. Ignorant bastards. All the people around her were just ignorant bastards living in some stupid bliss. It was a sad thing to look upon and weighed heavily on the Quincy’s heart. There was simply nothing she could do to inform these people of the encroaching danger, they’d just label her as a madwoman and leave it at that. It didn’t change the fact that she and her guardians had to defend these people at all costs. She didn’t mind the job since it was honorable enough to protect people that you don’t even know. Her duty was to the Consecro, and there were few things in this world that she would abandon it for. As her shoes carried her black clad form down the street, Surǽlia’s thoughts shifted in another direction, this time towards her own strengths. She was tired of waiting, tired of being patient. She’d spent all this time getting stronger and stronger so that she could burst down any single Sin before they could even react to her existence. But she was stuck here, patiently awaiting her new orders. Her respect for Micans Nitore, Ania, was incredible; yet, she still had this urge to go out on her own again and find the Sins. The desire to end this war in an instant burned so heavily in her gut that she could hardly control it. Patience, however was a virtue that she couldn’t afford to waste. Sure, she wasn’t the Obelisk of patience, but that didn’t change much in her eyes. Surǽlia had come to a stop at the gates of the Vatican after crossing the small bridge that connected the city with the rest of Rome and making her way through the crowds of tourists, the crowds of even more people that she needed to protect. As she stepped through the gates and made her way towards the main hall, the Obelisk of Temperance started to wonder why she’d chosen to join the Consecro. Was it that she needed a purpose? No. I had enough of a purpose running around and being stupid with Tracy. Did she join because she felt it was the right thing to do? Maybe. I can’t really answer that question. It was something she had to be honest with herself about. She had no idea why she wanted to be here. It seemed that being an Obelisk just restricted her will to act. Maybe it was Ania, who’d convinced her to join the Consecro in the first place. The answer to the question seemed to matter less and less the more she searched for it. Her black shoes clacked against the marble floors of the basilica. Surǽlia finally came to a stop at the entrance of the great hall. It was a spectacle, still, after many months of coming here every day. The chamber was unnecessarily massive and almost completely white. It tended to disturb and confuse the senses. Liquid green eyes shifted slowly from left to right as the chamber was carefully examined. There was almost no one here, save the three people around the Obelisk’s table. Surǽlia started moving again, not even batting an eye at the rest of the room. There were two other Obelisks here, and Ania at her throne. Surǽlia didn’t pay much attention to the other Obelisks and rarely interacted with them of her own accord. They were more allies than friends, and some of them were even less than that. Surǽlia drew to a stop a few feet from Ania. She made brief eye contact with both the other Obelisks, Adele, who was rather new, and Tahno, who’d been here even longer than Surǽlia herself. Then Temperance’s eyes locked onto those of the Micans Nitore. Surǽlia bowed her head slightly, “Ania.”

This place reeked of those filthy creatures; what else could they be? At current, she was high in the sky above what was known to her as the Vatican. She had followed the trail of reiatsu left by Ania after her earlier retreat. Now she was staring down at the building that she had deducted housed a few of the more significant reiatsu signatures in the area. She could tell that Ania was among them. She was still the strongest of the bunch, so she was the one whom Leto would target first and foremost.
Finished with waiting, Leto approached the roof of the building, letting herself fall through the air until she halted her descent a few metres above it. She wasn't one to sneak around, preferring to let her presence be known. Why would she ever want to hide it? Her searing, heavy reiatsu would likely be bearing down on the people inside the building. Not to mention any of the other, weaker Consecro members that may have been nearby. She wanted them all to know what was coming; their imminent demise. She didn't necessarily intend on killing anyone, but she did come here to send a message. A few deaths would be unavoidable. Eventually, they would all die by her hand, anyway.
Intent on laying waste to the building and it's residents, Leto raised her right hand so that her palm was facing its roof. A telltale, golden spark followed an invisible trail through the air, suggesting the use of Innotescendi. A split second later, an explosion of black and yellow flame lit up the sky as the spark met the roof and expanded rapidly and forcefully. As expected, the explosion did away with the roof of the building. Leto wasted no time in letting herself drop through the hole. She didn't even use her speed to get into the room quicker. She was in no rush.
Leto dropped to the floor lightly and soundlessly, right in the middle of the room. She was quite sure that she had the full attention of those gathered. She stayed silent for a moment, letting the humans take in her regal and noble visage. A chance to bask in Leto's glory was rare, and she was chivalrous enough to let them have it. However, the silence was short-lived. "Sorry to drop in like this." Though Leto's sense of humour was practically nonexistent, she had somehow managed to open with a joke. Though, she doubted anyone would laugh. Whatever she had be about to say next was interrupted by the presence of several more strong reiatsu points. With narrowed eyes, Leto looked up at the hole in the roof, as if she was expecting someone. "So, they came," she murmured. She had known they would, but hadn't expected it quite this soon. No matter, it wouldn't interfere with her plans, but fuel them instead. Though they weren't as strong as Leto, the other Sins were far more than capable of decimating the Vatican. Let's see how much of a resistance today's humans can put up.

tags: obelisks and sins | Natas decided it was time to pay a friendly visit to the vatican. The other sins were on generally bad terms with everyone and everything they came in touch with, but not him. No, he wasn't on the same level as those psychopaths. He was far superior, but they didn't need to know he thought that. Hell, they didn't even need to know he existed. His job as an assassin was to stay in the shadows and go in for a silent kill. He was trained to do the unexpected, never allowing his enemy to predict his movements. The other sins were his enemies as well. Those vile creatures tarnished his name without him even being caught doing anything. Natas didn't take lightly to these show off bastards drawing too much attention to themselves and everyone around them. Especially if he was the one around them.
Natas knew the only way to become one completely unknown was to kill the other sins. The best way to do that, and likely a few of his 'enemies' at the Vatican without actually being present is to start a team death match between the two, with himself watching silently from the background. Just because he was the embodiment of a sin, didn't mean he was evil. Well, he did eat people, but that is considered a religious practice in some areas. Besides, that was only when there was no other food around.
Hell, Gluttony was one of the least evil titles you could possibly have. Of course, you're expected to be fat, but he always proved those who expected that wrong, then proceeded to eat them whole once he had proven himself. He was merely a guy with an appetite, and there was nothing wrong with that.
Befriending the people of the Consecro would be possibly the least expected move in the book, but showing he came in peace was likely a way to gain their trust. Hopefully they had some class and didn't attack a man who was in no mood to fight. He only came there to talk to them, and maybe take a few of the weaker ones into a secret area and eat them while no one was looking. However, he would rather not harm any of them immediately. He wanted to gain the trust of
There was an entire group of strong spiritual beings in one area. They were obviously planning something. 'They predicted we would come. It's a fucking surprise party, aren't you excited?' Natas knew Alvaro was joking around, but something did seem wrong with that room. He tried to think of all the possible reasons there could be so many strong people in an area at once, but all that came to mind each time was a meeting. That was the better place to wait at, rather than just walking in through the front. Even though he risked being ambushed by all the strong beings when they exited the room.
He stood by the entrance when he heard a loud blast and a familiar reiatsu. It was definitely Leto, the self proclaimed queen bitch of all the sins. Since she was there, there was no use in trying to befriend any of them if they were currently being attacked. Leave it to others to fuck his plans up. Natas brought his hand to his face and rested it there, not even sure how pissed off he was that she had to choose that day to screw with them. "Fuck it. I'm done. Alvaro, do whatever you please." Alvaro took the chance to take over their body, with permission this time, and began laughing like an idiot. "Oh, my pleasure."
Alvaro walked to the door then kicked it, shooting it across the room. He walked in the room, but stood close to the exit just in case. "PRAISE THE SUN!" Alvaro yelled at ceiling, or the hole in it, while raising his arms. Praising the sun gods was always a way to enter a religious area, he just hoped he had the religion right. If not, then screw them. Those bitches needed to praise the fucking sun.
After his grand entrance, Alvaro took the time to look around the room to see who he was dealing with. What this was, was a room full of chicks. He felt overpowered by all the tits, but instantly felt bad ass once he saw there was at least one guy with him. He walked over to that man, with strangely fabulous hair, and stood beside him. "So many bitches here, man" He winked at the smaller man and tried to speak as sexily as possible. "What do you say we exit this place and have a little cake? You can be the plate." He laughed, then placed his hands on his hips. At least he made an impression on someone there. That was an accomplishment all in itself.

Broken and WEARY, Unable to find MyWay | [atrb=width,320]
Vilof sighed. He really didn't want to do something like this. It was so out of character for him to just charge in and follow the other Sins blindly, most likely to their doom. It wasn't a very smart, nor tactical decision to just barge into the enemy's stronghold like this. Much less with such an unorganized force like the Sins. Sloth wouldn't be surprised if a few of the Sins actually turned on each other, even when their main enemy. God, he hated the only people he could call allies.
But, he was here because a certain Amazonian flaming bitch practically forced him too. Even if he was stronger, he really didn't want to deal with such a handful like her. Knowing Vlasta, even if he killed her over and over, she would just keep coming back with more and more people. That'd be even more of a burden than just coming to the human world. Then Leto said something about attacking and one thing lead to another. And that's why Vilof slowly descended to stand a few feet away to Leto, his body slumping and his entire aura gave off the feel that he didn't even want to be here. He yawned slightly, looking about the room, his eyes not really seeming to be looking at anyone or anything in particular. His stare was absent, as Sloth himself wasn't fully there yet.
He stretched, before opening his mouth as he appeared to try to speak. After a few moments, words finally came out. "Well....I came. Don't kill me." He said slowly, the spacing between each syllable being drawn out much longer than they were needed. His head slowly looked towards Leto as he commented on not killing him, not really worrying about anyone else in the room. Even if some of them were on par or greater than himself, Sloth was never too worried about dying besides by someone who has killed him before.
That's when he became more aware of his surroundings, his eyes losing a little bit of their absent appearance. He looked around at other people again, what he knew were various races of humans. "where are we again...?" He asked, to no one really. His voice still carried the drawn out, slowed down style as before. His hand moved towards his hair, fingers finding comfort as he scratched the top of his head. He shrugged after a few moments, any response to his previous question most likely lost somewhere between his left and right ear. "oh well. He said, his face barely moving to the make the words.

Post by Ania Charis on Aug 30, 2013 15:02:30 GMT -5
Ania Charis Words: 825 Notes: Once your fights start you can break the overall post order. Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Three of her Obelisks had shown up in haste, first Tahno, then Adele, followed shortly by Surǽlia. She greeted each of the with a nod of her head that was also an answer to both Tahno and Adele. This was indeed quite the ordeal that needed to be addressed immediately. Still though she had full intentions of waiting for the other four to show up before she went into what had been so important that she called such a short notice meeting. It was then that she sensed the arrival of their main guest and she knew she had run out of time to wait. Ania switched her legs, sitting up and looking down to her seated followers while she still had some time to explain. "I suppose I can't wait any longer. Earlier today I finally met the sin of Pride. I've called you here to inform you that our duties to protect this world will be starting soon, but it seemed I was slightly off in the time I thought we had about dealing with such a thing. I'm sure you've noticed it as well as I have. She's getting closer to the Vatican every second. We aren't going to have more than a few moments to prepare. Others will likely come with her. Get ready" she spoke calmly despite the danger coming their way. Ania didn't dare show any worry. She didn't need to. She and her obelisks could take whatever the sins had coming for them. That much she was sure about.
No more than a few seconds later Leto had plunged right down through the roof, making a large, unsightly hole there. Ania didn't look impressed by her showy entrance. In fact she kept her straight, bored looking face. Of course Pride was going to have an obscene entrance. Ania had expected her doors being broken down but this was about as expected. She even had a well thought out pun to go along with her means of entrance. How cute. Unfortunately for her Ania was all but impressed with her stylish entrance of sorts. Pity.
"So glad you could stop by Pride. I didn't think you would accept my invitation so soon. Don't worry. I'm ready for you though." She got up to her feet, standing up on her pedestal and making sure Leto knew who was the one higher up right now. She didn't tilt her head down to look, only moved her eyes. Leto wasn't worth the trouble of moving a muscle in her neck. She might strain it. She wanted that woman to feel every bit of how much Ania thought she was worth. "I assume you brought along some guests of your own?" She didn't need to ask. She felt them the same way she had felt Leto coming. The bad thing about being powerful show offs was that you were never really a surprise. Shortly after Leto's arrival two more sins made their appearance. Ania didn't even glance at the newcomers, not at the one with as loud an entrance as she had ever witnessed who went on shouting nonsense, not at the one who seemed out of it and utterly useless either. They didn't mean a thing to her. Those were the ones that her obelisks would be taking care of. That was what they had gained their ranks to do.
Leto though. Leto was hers. Ania reached behind her back, undoing the bow there and letting it drop to her feet. It would get in the way if she were going to fight. That was a sign to her obelisks that she too would be partaking in this fight and it was rather obvious who she was claiming as her own opponent. "Let me treat you to what I promised, Pride" She picked up Alcestis. She also output a small amount of power to her rings and anklets, blades being produced by both items in seconds. She didn't attack yet though. She was waiting for the others to begin their tasks first. Her and Leto. It would happen but there was an issue of all this power in one confined space. It the building couldn't take it Ania had every thought to take this to the skies with Leto. It seemed fitting as well. Finally she tore her eyes from Leto and looked to her obelisks. "End them" she order in a stern tone. She wasn't going to accept anything less than the permanent deaths of every togabito here. She then looked back to the blonde sin, a small smile creeping onto her face. It could easily just be taken of her being a sweet girl. No one had to know it was because she was getting excited about ripping that being apart. It was better that they didn't know that side of her.

Beyond a nod from the Micans and brief glances from Diligence and Temperance, there was no acknowledgement of Tahno’s appearance. Were he the type to be petulant, he probably would have pouted slightly. But he reasoned that no acknowledgement was better than unnecessary chit-chat or being showered with worthless compliments. Not by much, but it was still better. Besides, Surǽlia and Adele were...prickly individuals from what he had seen of their files. He liked to be informed when it came to his associates and the knowledge merely reinforced his desire to not be here near them. They were rebellious, stubborn and - in Adele's case - utterly ruthless in nearly all their dealings with others. If he could have left, he would have. But the Micans Nitore had a purpose in summoning them and he couldn’t just leave. He had to remind himself that he existed for the Micans’ will and patience was needed for this, resigning himself to this meeting and these people.
But as soon as the thought passed through his mind, his head snapped up and he stared at the ceiling. He knew he was not the only one who could feel that suffocating reiatsu above them. He only distantly heard his leader’s orders, fascinated by the strength of this Sin…this Pride. There was no way he could stand against her and he had a feeling that helping the Micans battle against Pride would only result in him getting in the way – not to mention killed. Yet it might create an opening for the Micans to exploit and that was enough to awaken Tianshang Shengmu, the eerie light of the comb glowing even through the fabric of his belt.
Before he could pluck the comb from its place, the ceiling crashed down upon them – sacred stone that had stood in place for centuries suddenly reduced to rubble. And down through the destruction floated a glorious monster. Yes, he could understand why she was the very embodiment of Pride. Her entire being spoke of arrogance and conceit, as well as a confidence that was sickening. Even the way she spoke dripped with her pride. It infuriated him, yet he knew beyond a shadow of doubt that he was no match for her. He would undoubtedly die if he attempted to fight her, though it would be a worthy death indeed.
As Pride and the Micans exchanged a sort of banter, Tahno pulled Tianshang Shengmu from his belt. He deftly pulled his hair back and twisted it into a simple, elegant up-do. As he worked, even more Sins arrive - one sauntering in through the door praising the sun and the other lazily flopping through the hole Pride had created. Lord in Heaven, they were disgusting. He wrinkled his nose, choosing to initially ignore each Sin upon its entrance. They were disgracing this house of the Lord – foul blemishes in the eyes of God. And it was his duty to wipe them off the earth. But he before he could begin, he was approached by one of the swine. It...was this thing trying to flirt with him? He stopped fixing his hair for a moment to stare up in obvious disgust. "Raději bych ripovat vaše střeva a použít je jako vlasy vazeb než smilní se zvířetem, jako jste vy," he snapped, taking several steps back from the freak.
He finally tucked everything into place with the jade comb as the Micans gave her order. He glanced at his leader, awed that he would have the chance to see her in action. Or rather he would be feeling it. He was not a spectator here. It was time to get serious. His eyes darted to the other two Sins, gauging their reiryoku and guessing which one would be the greatest challenge. He was a bit surprised to sense the greatest reiryoku in what he guessed was Sloth, but the other Sin wasn't much weaker. And while he would have liked to test his strength against the stronger opponent, he took great issue with the freak that was trying to get in his pants.
Tahno had no intention of sitting around waiting for the matter to resolve itself. He spread his arms slightly and took up his usual fighting stance – legs shoulder-width apart and his feet firmly pressed into the ground. Tianshang Shengmu flared brightly and a fountain of water erupted from the comb. He pulled the water down to his waist and formed six whips. He twitched his left hand and lashed at the Sin’s head with two of the whips before twitching his right hand to lash out at its legs.

Surǽlia tilted her head slightly, but remained utterly expressionless at the boisterous entrance of Pride. This Pride, this Queen of the Sins was supposedly the most powerful of the bunch. Sure, she seemed so, but that didn’t mean shit to the Obelisks. Pride was cocky enough, and even seemed like she wanted to have a sense of humor. What a pain. Surǽlia had the overwhelming urge to throw herself at pride in that moment, but she restrained her desire and watched as Ania clearly chose her adversary. The next Sin entered, throwing open the doors of the chamber, kicking one across the massive hall, and shouting wildly about the sun. “Praise the sun,” he’d shouted at the top of his lungs, raising his arms towards the pretty little hole that Pride had but in the ceiling. Damn bitch; I liked that ceiling. It was at the point when this new Sin came in and started openly flirting with Tahno, --The Obelisk of Chastity, for fuck’s sake -- that Surǽlia couldn’t help but take a few steps away from her chair, roll her eyes and walk to the edge of the room.
From there, she comfortably leaned against the wall and observed as a third Sin entered. He was slow; really...really...really damn slow. Even the words that came out of his mouth sounded like they didn’t want to be there. It was immediately apparent that this was Sloth. He practically trudged into the doorway, and just stood there, not even bothered to move… He wasn’t even any fun to watch… Temperance closed her eyes and took a deep breath. This felt like such a waste of time. She could just go ahead and kill them, but she wouldn’t engage on someone who hadn’t already drawn their weapon, whether she wanted to or not. It wasn’t chivalrous. Surǽlia was genuinely surprised to see that Adele hadn’t already gone in and started tearing heads off. She always came across to Surǽlia as that type of character. I suppose it’s better this way, though. At least all the Obelisks were obedient enough to follow base orders. The same couldn’t be said for the Sins.
Surǽlia’s head dropped as the order came from Ania’s lips. It was clear and to the point. “End them.” She’d said. End them. Surǽlia thought for a moment. It was an order, but not a single Sin had yet to draw a weapon. Tahno reacted almost instantly, lashing out at the Sun praising freak as soon as the order came, but not after spitting something vulgar in what Surǽlia thought was Czech… something about the ripping of guts and fornication with animals. She didn’t really want to think about it. It was imperative that she follow the Mican’s orders, but Surǽlia didn’t feel like killing the Sin by the door, not like that. It would have been too fast and too easy. Besides, he hadn’t even drawn his weapon yet. However, if the other Sin drew a blade to fight Tahno, Surǽlia would have no problem providing support from a distance...

Another boisterous entrance; Leto couldn't disapprove of it, given where they were. Seconds later, Vilof drifted in after Leto, dopey-looking as ever. Leto appeared to pay no mind to the other two Sins, though she would have liked if Sloth could look more... alive. Well, they were technically dead, anyway. But that wasn't the point. In the brief pause that occurred upon the other Sins' arrival, Leto looked back towards Vilof with a cold expression that said, 'right yourself, or I will kill you again'. Sloth had come here; she wasn't going to let him just sit around and shame her. It wasn't as if she really needed his help, but right now, he was just a disgrace. Natas wasn't much better, as he appeared to be trying to solicitate with one of the humans there. Disgusting, Leto thought, averting her eyes from the foul sight.
The Sin had, for all purposes, ignored Ania's chatter. She was much too talkative for Leto's liking. It was bad enough that she tried to imitate the Sin with that condescending expression. She seemed to think standing on a higher physical plane than Leto was something. However, she wouldn't be standing in high places for much longer. Soon enough, Leto would have the human on her knees, and then in the ground. Pride did not have to tell the other two Sins to keep away from the white-haired woman. Even she knew that Gluttony and Sloth weren't quite strong enough to handle her. Besides, Leto would accept combat with nothing other than the strongest opponent. The other two humans there were just cannon fodder, and she had no use for them as they were now. Killing them would be like kicking a puppy. The only thing that was stopping the Sin from releasing her Reiatsu and killing all of the weaker humans was her ingrained sense of honour. She wouldn't touch weaker beings unless they forced her hand. However, collateral damage was always a possibility.
When Ania spoke of a promise, Leto turned her focus back to her. She didn't remember anything about a promise. But then again, when did she ever listen to what humans had to say? She couldn't deny that she was interested to see what this human had to offer, however. Leto did remember this one, like many others, had proclaimed she would kill Pride. She would be just like the rest, of course. But would she go down as easily? Now Leto had the chance to blow off years of boredom.
Still, Leto didn't move from her spot, only staring pointedly at her assumed opponent. She seemed rather confident. She thought she was going to win this? She was still standing around, though, after ordering the other humans in the room to 'end' the Sins. Was that supposed to be a joke? Leto couldn't even bring herself to laugh.
Because Ania's Reiatsu wasn't as strong as her own, Leto was mentally barred from attacking her. The human had to make the first move before the Sin would engage. So she stood there, unmoving, waiting for the moment when she could take part in the festivities, if that was what they could be called.

If that man had more drive, he'd be fabulous. But he didn't feel like teaching that man the ways of the fabulous. He heard a tiny woman make a fuss about something he didn't care about to pride, then directed all his attention on a more important matter than this. He had someone almost as fabulous as he was waiting to be a plate to some cake. That was an important matter all in itself, which couldn't wait any longer. He was about ready to go in with his man-plate plans until he saw the man scoot away from him after saying something in broken Polish. Alvaro had no idea what the man was saying, but it was obviously dirty. They were going to fornicate like animals, which was all he needed to know. "Nie wiem, co mówisz, ale to mnie nakręca." He winked at the man, speaking in his native tongue. They were going to have a very sexy time while everyone else around them were going to keep going at it until they all dropped like flies. Because fuck actually fighting. Great food and a great fuck were all that mattered at the moment.
Alvaro looked around, looking for some food to lather the man in, but found nothing. He was going to ask for them to be moved to a place with more food to carry out his sexy plans, however, he was rushed by the man who lashed water whips at him from his comb. Alvaro did a back flip to evade the attack fabulously. He wasn't even going to question why water was coming out of a comb. The logic behind it failed him as he began to experience total mind fuckery. It took him no more than a few seconds to realize this was a kink. This was the animal fornicating that was bound to happen, and it was sexy. He was almost sorry he jumped out of the whips way. "Dzięki czemu podoba to szorstkie? To jest gorące." He winked at the man before figuring out what he could do to him that could be considered hot.
'Dare I ask what is even going on?' Natas wasn't sure he even wanted to know what was happening. He started paying attention to what Alvaro was doing with his body and came back to whatever this was. It looked like a fight, but with Alvaro, it could be anything. "Stay in the dark side of our head, Natty. Sexy things are about to happen." Alvaro didn't bother responding to him in their mind, not caring what was thought about him. This was going down, and he figured out the perfect way to make it happen. Alvaro aligned his hand with a sharpened shadow. If he wanted it to be kinky as fuck, the man's vision was going to have to go. Alvaro ran over towards the man, and launched his shadow sharpened fist towards his chest. He didn't want to do that much damage to him, considering a broken toy was never fun to play with.

Ania Charis Words: 633 Notes: Skipping Vilof but he's not out Did You Fight to Keep Your Ground Tahno was quick to follow the order Ania had given. She expected as much from him. His battle was off to a quick start with the flashier of the sins. On the other hand Surǽlia hadn't a move to do anything. Ania tore her eyes from Leto to glance at the Obelisk, wondering what was going through her head. The remaining sin didn't seem to be doing much of anything either. It seemed the both of them needed some motivation. How else was that boring mass of space supposed to be killed right in her presence? To the Obelisks Ania wasn't much of a war wager. It was different with togabitos though. It was a lot harder to keep herself in line. There were three sins before her right now, so needless to say that blood lust was flowing through her to a point it was nearly unbearable. "Surǽlia" she called down, not saying anything more. She didn't have to. the look on her face said it all. She was not going to accept this lack of action. Even if that sin was doing nothing but wasting space, she was pretty sure it would fight back. If that was Surǽlia's main hesitance then it shouldn't have been a problem for long.
That taken care of, Ania turned her attention back to the sin she had claimed for herself. Leto hadn't moved much if at all. That was hardly surprising. Neither of them had attacked each other earlier. This woman was supposed to be pride itself. She was likely 'too good' to start a fight with a mere human. Well she could be as good as she wanted too. Ania wasn't too opposed to breaking the sin first. It was what she had been training so long to do. Besides, if she went on the attack perhaps it would get Surǽlia to do what she had trained so long to do as well. A small smile appeared on her lips before she threw herself from her pedestal with nearly all of her speed. She would be right in front of Leto nearly instantly. She hadn't shown too much power before except for her overall presence. so she was hoping for some element of surprise. Humans weren't supposed to be moving like she was able to after all.
Humans also weren't supposed to have the strength that she did. The way she had come in had her closed fist coming right down towards Leto's chest, the blade that protruded from her ring dead set on piercing right through the woman. If she was just brushed off with the thought Leto could throw her away then the sin would be in for quite the surprise. Ania also knew that she was leaving herself in a vulnerable spot, getting so close to the sin. What chance was there if she didn't take risks though? For safe measure she drew up Caelestis, the large ring blade swinging out in front of her to perhaps get some distance if Leto hadn't already been on the move. Maybe the entire point of that was to just show off a bit and get things started. It worked for her either way.
When Ania's feet finally touched the ground, she swung Caelestis around once again, this time though so that Ania was in its center. The ring blade began to spin, slowly at first but quickly it gained speed. It began to glow blue. Then sparks flew from the weapon. Ania wasn't going to take things slowly. she had no patience for that. she just wanted to see the sin squirm for a bit and she was pretty sure even the great pride wasn't immune to a good shock. She would be sure to give her one too.

Surǽlia didn’t bat an eye when Ania called down to her, and she didn’t have to look at her to understand what she was saying. It had taken Ania such a long time to be serious that Surǽlia half expected this was gonna be a bloody tea party. The Quincy girl sighed aloud, and pressed herself off the wall. She could sense the tensions rising, and so her long angular bow flashed to life in the palm of her left hand. The sharp, golden weapon glistened as the sunlight through the broken roof glanced off of it. The weapon was only a few inches shorter than she was, but it was slender and slick, which offset the seemingly cumbersome length. She had a plan, that she was going to have to set in motion as quickly as she possibly could, which meant focusing on her speed. She was considered the most balanced of the Obelisks, in terms of basic ability, however, she was also known as the one with the least fortitude. Surǽlia knew that if she ever got hit, that would be the end; one shot one kill for the enemy.
So, as her bow materialized, her right hand flashed into her open jacket and pulled a Seele Schneider from her clothing, spinning it around on her index finger. She briefly prepared the shot, spending less than a second charging the Seele Schneider’s base with reishi. It was the fastest attack that she had available without releasing her Vollstandig, and she intended to land it. Years of practicing her accuracy with this technique meant that she could lead her shots like no other human being. Surǽlia was more than sure that her skills, even if the attack missed, would surprise the sins enough to make them understand who they were truly facing.
THERE! Ania moved and Surǽlia could trace the amazing speed of Micans Nitore towards Pride. Surǽlia wasn’t stupid, she knew that pride could dodge the forward rush with ease, so the Obelisk lead her shot to the place she was most sure that Pride would move.
“Spurtun.” The word left her lips and in that same instant the Seele Schneider was gone: nothing but a blue trail from her to her mark. This was to be the extent of her assistance in the Mican’s battle. It was her battle now. So it was time for Surǽlia to turn on sloth, that lazy bastard at the front door. In that next instant, she’d changed her target and her stance, firing a trio long reishi arrows at Sloth, two targeting the chest and the third aimed for the head.
