The twins grumbled and fussed, but Sayuri was having none of it. “I will not let you idiots sit around all day on your asses feeling sorry for yourselves! You’re going jogging with me and that’s final!” She stretched as she waited for her brothers to get ready. Ever since Colin’s death, they had spent increasing amounts of time at home. They sat and read or watched TV or brooded – nothing particularly healthy for their spirits that was for sure. And she had let it go for three years because she hadn’t known what to do for them. She had also been in her own mental funk, so she probably wouldn’t have been much help anyway. But they had recently stopped going out altogether unless they had doctor’s appointments to make. Sometimes they wouldn’t even do that much and that was just the final straw. “And don’t drag ass thinking it’ll get you out of it. You have ten minutes before I come in and dress you myself, like the wee bitty babes you’re acting like!”
They cursed her vehemently in a soothing mish-mash of Gaelic, English and Japanese but when the ten minutes had passed they were back by the door to put their shoes on. Hamish stretched while Sayuri laced up Seamus’ shoes for him, both of them still grumbling under their breath. She said nothing in response to the bitter, unkind words she caught now and then, knowing that they didn’t really mean it. This was good for them; they’d see soon enough. And once they were better, she could tell them about Colin. And they could train like they all used to with their baby brother. And if the twins were serious enough, maybe they’d be able to see Colin too. It was worth a shot.
She straightened and stood up once Seamus was all set. Opening the door, she ushered her prissy twins out, grabbed the keys and locked up. “You haven’t been running in a while, not to mention the chair, so we’re starting easy for now. A walk to warm up, then we’ll slow jog. You keep pace with me, got it?”
“We’re not children, Sayuri.”
“Coulda fooled me, way you’ve been acting.” With that, she turned and led them out of the building. She set a brisk walking pace, making sure the idiots were right by her side the entire time. After about a half-hour, she picked up the pace and started following her usual winding route through Karakura. They passed through downtown, past Karakura High and through the residential area where the Kurosaki clinic was located. It was at this point that Hamish started to lag behind, but she simply slowed the pace for a while. After all, he was pushing Seamus’ chair and that wasn’t an easy task. But as they passed The Park, she started nagging them to pick up the pace. They told her to piss off, but she was relentless until Hamish finally started jogging again. She elected to not cut through The Park as she usually would – the twins probably weren’t ready to face that just yet – and instead continued past it before turning back towards the apartment. It was as she turned down a side-street filled with shops that she unwittingly collided with something. She staggered back, clutching at her chest as she stared at the obstruction. It…was it that asshat Gray Fullbuster? “What the fuck?!” HAN:1 REI:3 HAK:6 SEI:1 BUK:6 HOH:3

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true] [atrb=style,width:400px,bTable] | every thing's gonna crash and break Bored of sitting around, Jace had decided to get out for a bit. He still didn't know anyone in Karakura, and after seeing all of the supernatural bullshit that went down there, he didn't want to. Maybe he didn't even want to be outside since it was a bit hot, but there was nothing to do inside, either, and it drove him crazy. And so, Jace had left and was heading towards an unfamiliar side street. He usually went down streets he didn't know because it was something different. Plus, it couldn't hurt to get a little more familiar with the area, since it seemed like he would be here a while.
Jace was just at the end of the side street, about to turn the corner when his foot suddenly caught against something and he tripped. He managed to keep his balance for the most part, but stumbled forward into something soft and warm. Figuring that he had crashed into another person, he immediately took a couple steps backwards, straightening up and looking at the person he had bumped into. "S-sorry..." Jace said, blushing a little when he realized that it was a girl, which made it fairy obvious just where he had had his face only seconds ago.
Maybe it was just because he had bumped into her, but the girl didn't look very happy to see him, even voicing it. It was almost as if she knew him from somewhere, but he couldn't recall ever seeing her in his life. Jace wasn't even from around here, so that was impossible. He didn't really like her tone, but it was somewhat justified, so he didn't plan to say anything. There were two kids with her as well, so he definitely didn't want to say anything rude. "I tripped on something back there, but I guess I should have been watching where I was going. Really sorry about that," Jace said, aware that it was awkward now. Well, he had just face-planted into a girl's chest in front of what he assumed were her siblings. Of course it was awkward. More than anything, he wanted to just leave, but he didn't want to do anything hasty and look like a jerkoff.

Sayuri glowered at the boy standing across from her. How dare he be so calm and polite about this? After he had fucking groped her during their last encounter and…and…God, she couldn’t even think about it without wanting to punch the shit out of him! Bastard had no right to stand there just looking sheepish at what had happened. He should have been bolting in the opposite direction before she just snapped. It was like the asshole didn’t even recognize her! Wouldn’t that just be fan-fucking-tastic and so fucking like the prick? Oh, sorry, I’m just going to molest you and forget about you because you’re not worth remembering! She was practically seething when she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder.
Jerking her head slightly, she noticed Hamish and Seamus glancing between her and Fullbuster. “There a reason you’re not acceptin’ tha’ apology, sis?” Hamish drawled lazily, slipping into Gaelic. It dawned on her that she’d never told them about the clinic incident three years ago. Between dealing with Colin’s and Mother’s funerals, recuperating in the hospital and all the rehabilitation over the years, it wasn’t difficult to imagine why she’d held her tongue. The twins had had enough on their plates. Besides, she was a big girl. She could handle herself. Except now they were all in this awkward confrontation. So…how could she just blow the asshat off without having to explain anything to her brothers? She thought for a moment before just saying fuck it. “Plenty of reason,” she snapped back.
She turned back to Fullbuster with the same glower. Seamlessly slipping out of Gaelic, she said, “Piss off, Fullbuster. You always have some fucking excuse, don’t you? Acting all innocent like nothing happened three years ago. I thought I told you to leave me the hell alone.” She knew the twins were probably staring at her incredulously. She didn’t lose her temper often and she generally had good reason, but she hadn’t given them the reasons for her burning disgust and hatred of this boy. She would have plenty of explaining to do later. Somehow, she could live with that. But she wasn’t going to back down now, just like she didn’t back down then. It might have been three years, but she’d kick his ass again just as easily. Not only did she have the training, but she wasn’t half-broken physically and emotionally this time around. He wasn’t going to get off easy this time around – she’d break something for sure and it wouldn’t be her hand. HAN:1 REI:3 HAK:6 SEI:1 BUK:6 HOH:3

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true] [atrb=style,width:400px,bTable] | every thing's gonna crash and break The girl didn't seem too happy. In fact, she looked like she just despised him. Instead of accepting Jace's apology, she just glared at him. He had said it was an accident, didn't she understand that? He didn't even see how tripping and falling face-first into some random girl's boobs could ever be intentional. Especially when coming around a corner! One would need some real skill to pull that off. She must be one of those girls... The ones who freaked out about everything. Was she going to accuse him of molesting her, too?
Jace looked away from the girl and to the side, looking sad now. She was talking with whom he assumed were her brothers in another language. They were probably saying nasty things about him. Why else would they need to switch languages? Why is everyone in this place a total dick?
Jace didn't say anything for a moment, only staring at the girl incredulously after she called him a weird name and talked about some occurrence three years ago. "Uhh, I think you have me mixed up with someone else," he said. She had to. He knew he had never seen this girl before in his life, and even then, he had only gotten here weeks ago, not three years. He seriously doubted that this girl in Japan was one of his high school flings. It was a moot point, anyway. His name wasn't Fullbuster. Was that even a real name? "Yeah, my name is Jace, not Fullbuster. And I only got here a couple weeks ago." he finished, drawing out the 'yeah' a bit.
"I guess I'll get going now," he said, still looking put off by the whole deal. Hopefully, she wouldn't start screeching at him or something. Jace really didn't need to get in any more trouble than he already had.

Sayuri could hardly believe what she was hearing. There was no way she could mix him up with someone else. He looked exactly like fucking Fullbuster! It wasn’t like there was some fucking doppleganger out there in the world who happened to look exactly like the prick who had molested her three years ago. The thought was preposterous – infuriatingly so. Did Fullbuster honestly expect her to believe that not only was his name Jace, but he had only been in Japan a few weeks? She could feel her anger boiling up dangerously. She either needed to walk away now or sock him in his arrogant, pig-headed face. Honestly, she was leaning towards option two. After a moment of debate, she decided option two would ultimately be more satisfying. Without preamble, she cocked her right fist back and slammed it squarely into Fullbuster’s jaw. “You’re such an unbelievable asshole! Grope me not once, but twice, and think that’s gonna be the end of it? Fuck you, Fullbuster. I hope your nuts shrivel up and drop off.”
She spun on heel and jogged back the way she had come. Any longer in that place near that bastard and she would probably try to kill him. For a few moments, Seamus glanced between her and the boy sitting shocked on the ground. Hamish, on the other hand, simply shook his head. “I dinnae know what ye did ta piss ‘er off, lad,” the giant said gently, looking down in the boy’s general direction. His glass eye stared blankly while his damaged one shook slightly as it tried to focus on the kid. He gave up after a moment, just letting the eye relax as if he was staring into the distance. “Or if it even was ya ta begin with. But I suggest ya tryn avoid ‘er for as long as ye live. She’s a scaryun, our Sayuri.” Seamus snorted, muttered something about faces and concrete becoming very good friends, and gestured for Hamish to proceed after Sayuri. The giant bowed slightly to the boy and turned Seamus’ chair around. “Sayonara, ne?” he said as he took off after his huffy little sister.
A few hours later: Sayuri hummed as she left the dojo for the afternoon. A bout of training was always enough to put her in good spirits. Even considering the unfortunate run-in with that douchebag Fullbuster, today was going quite smoothly. She had gone into a cleaning frenzy at home, the twins had considerately opted to both not ask why she’d decked Fullbuster and actually go to their appointments, and she had sparred with some decent fighters. She bobbed her head slightly to the tune blaring from her headphones, eyes half-closed and hands tucked into the pockets of her shorts as she briskly made her way home. It would be dinnertime soon and the twins had even agreed to cook tonight. She sincerely thought there was nothing that could ruin her mood right now.
She was wrong, of course. No sooner had the thought crossed her mind, she accidentally jostled someone passing her. She really needed to stop doing that when listening to her music. It would get her in a lot of trouble someday; she was sure of it. She immediately spun around, eyes flaring open as she began to bow in apology. “Sumima-” The word of apology died as she saw just who she had bumped into. “Are you fucking stalking me?!” she snapped as her eyes fell on Fullbuster once more. Before Jace could turn to leave, the girl punched him in the face. Somehow not expecting that at all, he fell right on his ass. He kept himself from falling the rest of the way with his right hand, only staring up at the girl with a shocked expression as she went on about how he had apparently groped her even before today. Wait... he hadn't even groped her today! That had been an accident. It wasn't like he had just grabbed on or anything... "I'm not Fullbuster..." Jace tried one more time after the girl finished talking, even though he was really annoyed now. What a terrible thing to wish on a person! Fullbuster must have really pissed her off. Or maybe she was just a crazy bitch. Given everything that had transpired in the last thirty seconds, Jace was betting on the second option. When the girl began to jog away, Jace battled the urge to make a mock screeching cat noise. It seemed too perfect given how she had overreacted. But he didn't want to get castrated. Plus, her brothers were hanging back for some reason. Only now did the Proxy realize how fucking huge they both were, even if one of them was in a wheelchair. Oh shit. Those were her brothers, and Jace had apparently molested their sister. He knew where this was going. He felt himself getting defensive and was about to pick himself up off the ground until one of them spoke. He didn't seem angry at all, and even seemed to believe Jace somewhat. Or at the very least, he was taking sides. They were both so chill! It was a shame that their sister wasn't like that. "See ya," he mumbled, thinking that the girl probably wouldn't want to hear him talking to her brothers. She seemed too much like the type to jump to conclusions. After they had turned away, Jace got to his feet. He was still a bit pissed, refusing to even glance in their direction as he walked the other way. My face hurts.A few hours later, Jace was walking back from yet another lecture. Apparently he was going to be given missions soon, or some shit. I don't even care anymore. After today, he just wanted everyone to leave him alone. This place was nothing like he thought it would be. Jace had almost been excited when he heard that he was being stationed in Japan, even if it was against his will. But there really was nothing to get excited about. People here were crazy, and that ruined everything. Jace hadn't been paying attention and so had bumped into someone. He hadn't looked at the person, only trying to remember the Japanese word for 'sorry'. And then he heard the voice. It was oddly familiar. You have got to be fucking kidding me. He had turned to see who it was, and saw someone he had been hoping to never see again. And she had the nerve to assume he was stalking her. It wasn't as if he had been tempted to ask her the same thing... "Don't flatter yourself," Jace said coldly before he looked away, continuing to walk in the other direction. He wasn't going to deal with this shit right now.

“Don’t flatter yourself.”
Sayuri’s hands immediately clenched. Her arms trembled as she strove to not just sock the shit out of this motherfucker again. But her mind was practically screaming obscenities at him as her rage grew exponentially. He had started this shit three years. He had fucking disrespected her first – and not just once, but multiple times! And now he had the fucking gall to say that to her?! A red haze filled her vision as Fullbuster started walking away from her. “Turn around and fucking fight me, you worthless piece of shit!” she shouted at him. “I kicked your ass once. I’ll fucking do it again, do you hear me!” Fullbuster paused at that and turned slightly. The look on his face just pissed her off even more – as if he not only didn’t consider her a serious threat, but also thought she wasn’t worth wasting the breath to tell her as much. He then turned his back on her again and just kept walking.
And that was the absolute last straw. Her hand flew up to her neck and she wrenched her headphones off. Jerking the cord free of her iPod, she flung the headphones with all her strength at Fullbuster’s head. The thud that followed was soothing in a warped sort of way. The cursing, however, delighted her even more. If he was going to turn his back on her, she was going to make him regret it. Her eyes flicked around for something else to throw and they settled on a familiar item. Without thinking, her hand flew out and jerked a brand new randoseru from some unsuspecting parent’s hand. She didn’t heed the parent’s shout or the cries of shock from the crowd. The moment she had the backpack, she spun her body and hurled it at Fullbuster like a discus thrower trying to set a new personal record.
As soon as the pack was out of her grasp, she started immediately searching for something else to throw at him. By that point, people had started backing away from her. They clutched their possessions tightly to them or took off running. Some were shouting for someone to call the police. But none of that really registered in her mind. All that mattered right now was squashing Fullbuster like the useless insect that he was. And without Natsu or Ichigo around to stop her this time, that’s exactly what she was going to do. Her eyes finally settled once more on an overflowing garbage can next to a bus stop bench. Again, without hesitation she sprang for it and somehow managed to jerk the can up off the ground and hold it high above her head. “I will fucking destroy you!” she screamed in Gaelic as she hurled the trashcan at Fullbuster with all of her strength. Jace was aware that he had just said something incredibly rude, but he didn't particularly care. She was the one who apparently freaked out about everything. He really couldn't be bothered with someone like that. He figured that his response would be enough to get the girl to screw off. When he heard her screeching at him from behind, he knew he was wrong. Something about her wanting to fight him and having kicked his ass before. Was she referring to the time when she had punched him? That counted as an ass-kicking for her? What a joke. Jace had turned to look back at the girl for a second, still with a fairly unmoved expression. Rolling his eyes, he turned away and kept walking. He wasn't going to fight a girl unless there was a damn good reason to. Her screeching and having a little temper tantrum wasn't a good enough reason. She was only embarrassing herself, which wasn't his problem. Unexpectedly, something hard hit the back of Jace's head and he jumped in surprise. "What the fuck!" he cursed aloud, turning to glare at the girl. Did that bitch just throw something at him?! Next thing he knew, what looked like a backpack was flying towards his face. Fuck no. Jace barely got his hands up in time to block it, and it still hurt like a bitch. Just what was that thing made of?! Jace looked down as the backpack fell to the ground, only to see what the girl had lobbed at him before: a pair of headphones. The big kind too; no wonder it had hurt. Luckily, the scene had caused a commotion. She'd probably back off now that... A shadow fell over Jace and he looked up. The girl was right there with a fucking... garbage can held above her head screeching what had to be a war cry in another language. He could even see things falling out of the trashcan as she held it up. It was full! How the hell had she picked it up like that?! "W-wait..." Seeing that reasoning really wasn't an option right now, Jace covered his face with his forearms and tried to duck. But he hadn't thought it out very well. It was way too big a projectile to simply duck under, and it still bashed him in the back of his head before rolling away. With that, Jace crumpled to the ground. That thing had hit him so hard that he had tears in his eyes. He didn't even know whether he was bleeding or not, but he might as well be for how much it hurt. "That... hurt..."Blinking the tears away, Jace started to get to his feet, eying the girl warily. "Are you happy now? Even though I still have no fucking idea what you're talking about..."

There was something beautiful about the way the trashcan arced through the air. And there was something equally hilarious about the way Fullbuster just tried to duck out of the way. He really was an idiot, wasn’t he? He should have started running or fighting back the moment Sayuri went for the backpack. The impact from the trashcan was going to be painful. And she wasn’t wrong in her assumption. It still slammed into the back of his head before rolling away. After a few moments, Fullbuster tried to get to his feet with tears of pain in his eye.
“Are you happy now? Even though I still have no fucking idea what you're talking about…”
She glared at Fullbuster. He was still going to feign ignorance after seeing just how pissed she truly was by all this? Oh yeah. She was going to kill him. “I won’t be happy until you’ve been slaughtered like the pig that you are,” she snapped as she stalked over to the bench that had been beside her previous projectile. Taking a tight grip on the bench seat, she settled into a squatter’s stance and started trying to pull the bench out of the concrete. She was going to use it to beat his ass in – and she would laugh while she did it. Somewhere in the distance, she could hear sirens approaching but the sound didn’t even faze her. She was busy with her new life goal of destroying Fullbuster. Her face was grim as she worked to release the bench. There was a loud crack as one of the bench legs came free of the concrete. She smirked in satisfaction and kept working.
“Holy shit!”
She glanced up at the sound of Fullbuster’s voice in time to see the bastard take off sprinting. Well…not quite sprinting. That trashcan to the head had probably thrown off his equilibrium at the very least. She made a little screech before dropping the bench back to the ground. She took off after him, shoving aside people in her single-minded pursuit of the douchebag. As she went, she caught sight of some kid with a kendo shinai. It would be perfect for beating Fullbuster with. When she passed the kid, her hand flashed out and snatched the shinai before the kid even realized what had happened. She ignored the surprised and angry shout of protest as she followed after Fullbuster. “Get back here, you coward!” HAN:1 REI:3 HAK:6 SEI:1 BUK:6 HOH:3

The girl didn't lay off even after Jace had taken a garbage can to the head. That sort of thing could probably kill someone. And yet, she just glared at him before saying something in another language that hardly sounded anything like what he wanted to hear. But after that, she walked away. He relaxed a bit, assuming that she was leaving. But when she started pulling at the bench, Jace slowly stood up, staring at the bench legs until one was actually ripped free. "Holy shit!"This wasn't happening. That girl was totally nuts. While he doubted that she could actually swing a bench around, he didn't plan on sticking around to find out. It seemed like she really wanted to kill him. And if Jace could avoid fighting with a girl in public and looking like a total tool, he would. When he ran, everything felt a bit off. He could guess at why. Jace doubted that he had any kind of serious injury, but he wasn't too happy about how much the temporary effects were probably going to screw him over. Even as he turned onto another street, he brushed against the side of a building, almost having run right into it. He could feel that he was slower than usual, too. Even then, he was probably a lot faster than the crazy chick. Even if she was nuts, she was just a regular person. After he felt that he had gotten far enough, Jace slipped around the edge of another building, peeking out to see if she was on his trail before ducking back around the corner. He felt ridiculous for hiding like he was, but he didn't really have any other options. He didn't want to fight, but he didn't want to get hit by a bench, either. But it didn't matter now anyway. He had lost her. Now, he just had to make sure that he didn't run into her again. With that in mind, he walked along the side of the building, periodically looking back to make sure that she hadn't found him.

Despite sprinting full speed after Douchebuster and despite the obvious effect the trashcan had had on him, he still managed to get farther from Sayuri than she found acceptable. She saw him careen around a corner and knew she was probably going to lose him. She skidded to a halt outside an alley rather than following him around the corner. She could feel his frantic energy drawing farther away, but he was still headed up the street – parallel to the alley she stood outside of. Smirking, she turned up the alley and resumed her wild pursuit of an asshole. It was quiet, but surprisingly so were her footsteps as she ran. Even in rage, she had excellent control of her body thanks to years of training and brawling.
Looking ahead, she soon saw Douchbuster turn down the alley – just as she’d hoped he might. She quickly ducked into an entryway to avoid being seen immediately. She peeked around the corner to see where the asshole was looking. Fortunately, he was still fixated on what was going on in the street. It seemed he assumed that she had still been running behind him when he ducked in here to hide. And that meant he assumed he had now lost her because she was nowhere in sight. She almost laughed at the thought. Instead, her smirk returned as she slipped back into the shadow of her hiding place.
Sayuri leaned against the wall, her breathing steady and silent as she waited for Douchebuster to start moving again. He had two options – return to the streets or slip up the alley to avoid running into her again. Either way, he wouldn’t be expecting her to suddenly appear behind him. But somehow, she suspected he would stay in the alley. In theory, that would be the safer of the two routes. A few moments later, he proved her right. She gripped the shinai firmly when she heard footsteps headed towards her. It wasn’t long before he walked past her hiding place, oblivious to her presence as he periodically checked over his shoulder to see if she was going to suddenly appear. She slipped out when he turned his head forwards and without missing a beat slammed the shinai into the back of his knees as she ran forward. With his already wobbly balance, she expected him to go down like a sack of bricks. Without waiting to see if he did, she spun back around while swinging the bamboo sword at Douchebuster’s torso to knock him flat on his back. HAN:1 REI:3 HAK:6 SEI:1 BUK:6 HOH:3

When Jace looked over his shoulder to check once more, he felt like something was off. But there clearly wasn't anyone around. There was just no way she could have caught up with him. In fact, when it came right down to it, she probably couldn't overpower him, either. Maybe she could rip a bench out of the ground, but he had thrown entire trees, and that was even before he was dragged into the Consecro bullshit that had only made him even stronger. I have nothing to worry about, he told himself. If anything, he figured that he was taken aback by how vicious she seemed to get for no reason at all. Once again, Jace got the feeling that something was off. He would have blamed it on the blow he took to his head earlier if not for something hitting his knees. Caught completely off-guard, he couldn't stop himself from falling to his knees. He didn't even have to guess at who was attacking him though he didn't understand how she had come out of nowhere. At least she didn't have a bench, by the feel of it. Before he could recover, she swung at him again with what looked like a stick of some sort. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as he had thought it would, but the force was still enough to send him onto his back. Not waiting for the girl to start beating him again, Jace rolled to the side before hastily getting to his feet, almost losing his balance in the process. He kept his left hand poised to catch the bamboo sword if she swung at him again, wondering what he was supposed to do in this situation. It seemed like talking only pissed her off more, so that was pointless. If she even gave him a response, it probably wouldn't even be in English. And he still didn't want to fight despite the fact that they were totally alone and no one would see if he did. At least her new weapon was relatively harmless, even if it did hurt like a bitch. He had to wonder what she was thinking, getting something like that and then chasing him down. She was really lucky that Jace wasn't a total dick. Still, he couldn't deny that he was getting pretty pissed off. He had tried his best to be nice to her after he ran into her and she had start accusing him of... well, he didn't even know. He just knew for a fact that he had never met her before that. And now she wouldn't leave him alone. Didn't the fact that he wasn't fighting back mean anything? He wanted to tell the girl not to embarrass herself, or something along those lines, but had a feeling that it would send her into hysterics or something. Anything he said would probably make her go nuts. So he didn't say anything, instead staring at the wall behind her. If he didn't focus on anything, he would be able to detect her moves quicker. If she swung at him, he would just catch it, hopefully.
