Words: 749 Notes: -- == Jizzfest members And the science gets done And you make a neat gun She really must have been scary when she was like this. that arrancar bailed just as the one of its comrades had earlier. Lamia wasn't impressed by the muscle head at all anymore. What, he just couldn't handle something like a visored? What a pansy. She couldn't help but to giggle. The strip she had fired off before returned to her other cuff, but there wasn't much she could do with it, so it just dispersed. She had wasted some energy. That much was true. She didn't need that much more though. In fact, she didn't have a reason to do anything else. Ariella probably would have liked to save that naked kid. What purpose did that really serve her though? She turned toward the other fight that was going on. That pretty boy hadn't been interested in her before anyway. She wasn't that interested in him now either, so he could just like.. deal with that and stuff! Oh yeah. She told him.
Then again... she could really just rub it in his face and fight him anyway. It would probably be a lot more fun than standing around and watching that guy cut up the naked one. It was delicious. That was true. She hardly ever got to do anything in the real world though. She couldn't pass this up. She let out another giggle, bringing her hand up to the carved mouth hole. She was getting pretty excited. When the long haired man went up for his last attack on the boy, She leaped into the air to follow him. She wasn't nearly as fast as him, but she still got there eventually. She was up above him, flipping over midair. "Hi there, Mister~" she greeted, waving her hand in a sweet kind of way. It was apparent, but under her mask she had on quite the smile. In the position her leg came down so that the heavy metal cuff there would come down upon his sword, trying to kick it downward and away from the naked boy she planned on having some fun with after this. Speaking of him.. As she came down, her arm also reached out for him. Giving a little bit of a throw of her legs she swung herself and probably the fullbringer back down toward the ground to avoid some immediate backlash from the scary guy. She didn't even think that maybe roughly grabbing him wouldn't be a good idea. He didn't need to be whining though. She just saved him! He should have been thanking her!
Someone wasn't so grateful to her though. She felt her body go tense, and suddenly her hand was up at her face. "Dammit! Go away!" she screeched, trying to fight the force that was overcoming her. She couldn't fight it though, and in a matter of second the bone mask was being ripped of one half of her face. It was followed shortly by the other, which faded into dust shortly after. Underneath was the pretty exhausted looking face of Ariella again, the black clearing up from her eyes. Regaining control of her body and mind had been a trial by itself. Added onto the fighting she had already done, plus what fine work Lamia did, Ariella was nearly at her end. She glanced over to Gray, not really saying anything, but the look on her face would probably be a give away from the message she was trying to announce. They had to finish this quick or get away right then.
The blonde visored turned to face the arrancar again, appearing as indifferent as ever. In her head though she was trying to come up with some kind of plan that would get them out of this mess. She held out her hand, charging up what she needed for her next attack that was likely a bit reckless given her state. Wasn't that what science was though. With no hesitation she released a large blast of sound waves toward the only remaining arrancar. She put in all of the energy she could stand to lose, making the blast more than just sound, but actually physical, capable of sending the man flying if it had enough strength. If nothing else she could hope the sound would make him take a moment to recover. Hopefully it would keep him at bay too. It was evident they needed a few seconds, or any amount of time they could get.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]There's no need to change the past. Because of the past, we are who we are now. Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣ As he had shot up into the air, Gray felt something hit his stomach. Luckily, he had moved away fast enough that it wasn't a particularly painful blow. That could have also been the adrenaline making itself known. Either way, it didn't matter.
Gray barely had time to get his bearings before the Arrancar was upon him again. Oddly enough, he swung right for Gray's arm, which was covered in ice. Not thinking anything of it, Gray lashed back at him with said arm, thinking that his blade would just get chipped again. He was wrong. Forget the sound of the ice shattering, there was a loud snapping sound when he supposedly blocked the Arrancars swing. Pain shot up Gray's arm and he drew in a sharp intake of breath as his right arm dropped to his side. He felt a scream building up, but it came out as a choked gasp when something slammed into his side. What... He had been so caught up in the pain in his arm that he hadn't even seen the Arrancar move. He wasn't in front of Gray anymore. He tried to turn around so that he could at least have a chance of depending himself, but then he was hit from another direction, and another.
Miraculously, Gray was still standing in midair after the Arrancar's onslaught, though he was in considerably worse condition. His dominant arm was hanging useless by his side and he was panting heavily. He was pretty sure that he could taste blood, too. That was never good.
He could hear the Arrancar saying something, but didn't pay much attention. He was racking his brain, trying to come up with something he could do, but whichever way Gray looked at it, he was screwed. The unpleasant tingling in his arm made him quite sure that it was broken. He was drastically limited with the use of only one arm, and his left arm at that. He couldn't even use what he had been planning to now.
Gray's head snapped up at the sound of clashing metal. The Arrancar was right in front of him, and Ariella was above said Arrancar, appearing to have kicked his blade off-course. He hadn't even seen that attack coming. What's that mask? Gray had just noticed the mask Ariella was wearing, and that it looked suspiciously Hollow-like, when she grabbed him and they both shot back down to the ground. Luckily, Gray landed on his uninjured side, though that didn't mean he had come out unscathed from the rather ungraceful landing.
"Fffffff..." Gray's body protested when he tried to get to his feet. But he had to get up. It didn't seem like the Arrancar was just going to walk away at this point. Though, Gray paused when Ariella started screeching. Was she talking to him? The Arrancar? He noticed that she was ripping her mask away. After it was gone, she seemed back to her old self, but really tired. What in the fuck...? Gray had no idea what that had been about but it hardly looked to be good. But he got up after that, knowing full-well that they needed to come up with something, fast. Now wasn't the time to be asking questions.
Gray didn't know what he could do in his current state. The situation had gone from bad to worse in a matter of seconds. But he still had the ice blade on his left arm. That was at least some form of defense, even if the Arrancar's sheer strength pretty much nullified it. If he could get some sort of prolonged contact, Gray could try to freeze him, but there was just no way he'd be able to pull that off without getting killed. He would just wait until Ariella did whatever she was doing before he acted.◣ | ◣TAGGED: Ariella, Colin ◣WORDS: 634 ◣NOTES: --

“Hi there, Mister~”
Colin’s eyes flit upwards as a shadow appeared above him. The blonde bimbo from before had apparently dealt with Ghenaro – or Ghenaro had fled, whichever was the case. He didn’t particularly care. The point was that she was now interfering with his fun. And that…well, that was just unacceptable. On the other hand, as she kicked his sword downwards and screwed up its trajectory Colin couldn’t help but notice that Bimbo had miraculously acquired a Hollow mask. That explained why she’d felt so strange earlier. She wasn’t an Arrancar, but she did possess a Hollow-like nature nonetheless. What did the Shinigami call it…a Visored? He supposed that was an interesting development for him. He’d never fought a Visored before. Shame it wouldn’t make up for disrupting his fight.
His gaze was cold and slightly irritated as she grabbed Ice-boy and returned to the ground. He didn’t immediately follow after her. On the one hand, he now was vaguely interested in fighting her. On the other hand, she had stuck her nose in where it didn’t belong. Perhaps a well-placed cero would teach her the foolishness of interrupting the Primera’s fun? No. Neither of them was worth that much energy. If he really wanted to, he could probably just decapitate them in one fell swoop while they regrouped. The idea was tempting, to say the least. But that would rather defeat the purpose of fighting Ice-boy in the first place.
While he contemplated them from above, Bimbo screeched and started clawing at her mask. This was also a curious development. It was as if there were two personalities warring for dominance in the same body – like dissociative identity disorder. He supposed that was what a Visored was, essentially. And it seemed like a problematic state to exist in, considering how exhausted Bimbo looked once the mask had crumbled away. Perhaps it just took time to perfect one’s control over it. Unfortunately, little Bimbo hadn’t had the time to do so. It had been a foolish action to take, though Colin had to admit Bimbo and Ice-boy had been in a pretty desperate situation. He almost wished things weren’t about to get just a tad worse for them.
He sonido’d down to join them on the ground, landing about a dozen feet in front of Bimbo and Ice-boy. He commended Bimbo for her unflinching indifference as she faced him, but he knew she was probably scrambling for some kind of escape plan. She had some energy left – enough for at least one more attack. It would probably be a ranged attack, since she would want to keep him from closing in at all costs. Perhaps she would fire off some more orange discs. Then again, perhaps not. The discs seemed to require more energy than she currently possessed. But as she lifted her hand towards him, he had no more time to contemplate. He sonido’d again and stopped beside her. He tossed Estampido’s sheath towards one of the buildings, causing the glass to shatter on impact.
Colin’s now-free hand flew out and snagged the girl’s wrist in an iron grip. “Little freaks like you should not interfere with Master’s playtime,” he said matter-of-factly before he promptly kicked up with his left leg at her elbow. He let go of her arm and sonido’d to the other side beside Ice-boy. He grabbed a fistful of hair and dragged Ice-boy to his feet, holding Estampido Supersónico across the kid’s throat. He pressed the blade gently into the flesh, causing a small amount of blood to start trickling down Ice-boy’s throat. “So tell me, Blondie, what exactly did you think you were going to accomplish by interrupting us?”

Words: 518 Notes: -- -- Jizzfest members And the science gets done And you make a neat gun Before Ariella could even fire off her wave of sound, the arrancar was suddenly beside her. The blast flew out just as she turned her head, eyes wide and full of surprise. She tried to turn to face the man, but even as she did that he caught hold of her arm, making it impossible to turn it his way. She narrowed her eyes and tried to pull her hand away, failing miserably at it. She almost hissed when he spoke to her, instinct taking over, which was oddly enough like that of a cat. She gave one more pull that didn't do her any good, only straightening and stretching her arm out more. She only helped the arrancar in her actions in fact. Just as she did so, she felt his blow connect with her arm, or at least she started to feel it. just after her arm was suddenly on fire with pain. She let out an ear piercing scream, looking down at her arm.
With the additional pain she was too exhausted to stay as upright as she was. Her knees were already giving out by the time the arrancar released her. She promptly fell forward, hitting the ground on her knees, doubled over with her broken arm tucked away protectively between her body. She wasn't aware of what was going on at the same moment, silently screaming into her shoulder, trying to regain any frame of mind she was capable of getting. She shakily tried to sit up time and time again but was only met with a wave of pain for her troubles. Finally she just settled for turning her head, getting a look at Gray and the arrancar. It seemed he wasn't in a lot better shape to do anything than she was right now.
The man spoke to her once again, but she couldn't get the words out to answer him, only quick breaths escaping her mouth. she wasn't a blank canvas like before. Her brows were knitted together and tears were forming in the corners of her eyes from the pain. It was obvious she was fearing for her life at that moment, likely just like the arrancar wanted her to be. The disks around her wrists and ankles had a slight glow for a moment before they faded away, taking on the form of her sealed zanpakuto once again. She wasn't able to keep that form of her zanpakuto up anymore, exhausting most of her energy already, especially with that final, wasted attack. She wasn't sure what she could do now to give her and the fullbringer a shot at living. Ariella could barely even move, let alone launch some kind of attack, or even run away and leave Gray to handle the problem himself. She looked over to said fullbringer, hoping that he was still able to do something. He was the only shot they had right now. It was either that or by some greater force, the arrancar just leaving them, even then there was no garuntee they would be fine in the end.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]There's no need to change the past. Because of the past, we are who we are now. Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣Even as Ariella sent a blast of sound towards the Arrancar, Gray didn't have high hopes. It could and would be dodged easily. It wasn't even that he thought the Shinigami was weak, but the Arrancar was much stronger; he knew that much by now. Plus, Ariella looked like she was on her last legs after having ripped the mask off. Gray too could barely even get to his feet. His Reiryoku was depleted, he was pretty sure that he had internal bleeding, and to make matters worse, his arm was broken which rendered most of his powers useless. Even though he could wield with one hand, there was no way he could take the pain in his other arm if he tried. Running away wasn't even an option now. They were screwed.
Gray had been watching the Arrancar as Ariella sent her attack towards it. He saw it disappear again and could only guess at where he would appear next. "Watch out!" he hissed, a bit too late as said Arrancar appeared right beside the Shinigami. Forgetting about his broken arm, Gray tried to bring his hands together to form a blade and fling it at the Arrancar. This only warranted a lightning bolt of pain and he dropped back down to the ground, cradling his arm.
Gray flinched when he heard a snapping sound and a bloodcurdling scream. Before he had time to even look up to see what had happened, something yanked him up to his feet by his hair. This movement caused his broken arm to move again and he shuddered, barely keeping himself quiet.
He felt a stinging sensation on his neck and could pretty much guess why. Was he really being held hostage right now? That was just pathetic. At the very least, Gray could see that Ariella wasn't dead. She was looking at him, though. Most likely, she thought he had some sort of trick up his sleeve. He really didn't. Even if he could do anything, it wouldn't matter. If he made a move, he'd probably be killed. He could only hope that the Arrancar would get tired of them and leave.◣ | ◣TAGGED: Ariella, Colin ◣WORDS: 357 ◣NOTES: --

The look on Bimbo’s face was beautiful. The frustration, the exhaustion…the fear – it was delicious. Colin’s lips curved into an easy, almost kind smile as he waited to see what she would do. The smile only broadened when her zanpakuto sealed itself. She had absolutely nothing left to take him on with. He almost laughed. She had tried. He would give her that much. But now she seemed to understand just how idiotic that choice had been. Normally he would have seen this through to her bitter end, but the lesson seemed to have been learned. She, at least, would get to live to see another dawn. He wondered if Ice-boy would prove to be somewhat intelligent as well. They both had such potential as playthings when they got stronger.
Silence stretched out for several long moments. Colin had suspected Ice-boy might try something foolish, but as the minutes ticked by without further action he thought perhaps Ice-boy had learned his lesson as well. He bent down slightly and took in a deep breath. He held it for a moment before he started humming a quiet, happy little tune. Yes, Ice-boy understood as well. There was absolutely nothing they could do to escape from him. He chuckled softly in Ice-boy’s ear. “Well played, little boy. You fought rather well against me. But you are still leagues beneath me.” He pulled his sword from the boy’s neck and roughly tossed him at Bimbo. He immediately sonido’d to where he had tossed Estampido’s sheath, retrieved it, and returned to his previous position before the two wounded freaks.
He smoothly sheathed Estampido Supersónico as a Garganta opened beside him. “I’m sure it probably galls you to be so utterly at my mercy.” He unceremoniously tossed the sword into the Garganta before reaching in and pulling out his beloved bullwhip. “Either that or you are in shock that I’m not simply destroying you right now.” He hooked it back to his belt as the Garganta closed. He briefly inspected his ruined outfit before tsking at the sight. It could be fixed, but honestly – did they have to ruin it in the first place? Such rude brats. “To be perfectly honest, you are not even worthy of the honor of being crushed beneath my boot heel. Not yet, at least.”
He looked at them and smiled brightly. “Nonetheless, I have enjoyed myself today and you seem to understand that you are no match for me. For that, I shall let you go today.” A second, larger Garganta opened behind him. He took a step backwards, standing at the edge of the portal. He paused there and his smile suddenly vanished. His entire demeanor was no longer even remotely amused or pleased. It was deadly serious and there was an air of dark, twisted malice about him as one hand rested gently on the handle of his bullwhip. “But make no mistake, little freakazoids. If you dare to challenge me again, make sure you have the strength and cunning to stand on equal footing with me. I will not hesitate to simply slit your bellies and skull-fuck your eye sockets using your intestines as a condom.”
He looked at them for a moment before smiling brightly once more, his eyes closing slightly as he did. He waved jovially at them. “I pray you are not as stupid as that. A pet is only good for playtime as long as it’s alive to react.” He laughed again and turned his back on them. As he walked through the Garganta, he called over his shoulder, “Ja, ne?” The Garganta closed over his retreating form and he couldn’t help but keep grinning. Showing the enemy a small mercy always delighted him. It usually just pissed them off and then they would get stronger and he could fight them again – and in the end, they were never quite strong enough. He started laughing manically as he finally returned to his palace in Las Noches, no longer bored out of his mind.

Words: 603 Notes: -- -- Jizzfest members And the science gets done And you make a neat gun Ariella was left in some form of shock that the man hadn't killed them both yet. She just kept waiting for it, watching for any move he would make. It never came though, at least not a killing blow. The arrancar threw Gray toward her, and based on self interest, she forced herself to roll to the side where there was no way he could land on her. Sure it would probably hurt the fullbringer more to land on the pavement rather than a nice, soft body, but it would hurt Ariella a lot less. Not to mention Gray was a trooper. He could deal with it just fine. It beat having his throat slit.
When she came to a stop, Ariella was on her front once again. With her good arm she pushed herself up slightly, looking back to the arrancar to see what he was doing. To her surprise he had opened up a garganta. He was leaving? Ariella could only stare at him as he spoke to them, nearly tuning him out entirely. She did however catch his warnings. She was a smart girl, and as such she knew better than to believe that he was over exaggerating with them. She bit the inside of her lip, doing all she could to regain control over herself. She wasn't about to go on cowering like a child while the arrancar was still there. She forced herself up to her knees, though it really wasn't any more intimidating than when she had been flat on the ground. It was something though.
She didn't have to keep up the tough up for that much longer. Shortly after the arrancar was gone, and Ariella instantly slumped forward. She looked down to her arm once again, noticing that it was starting to swell up and that a couple of bones where in the wrong places, sticking out rather than living peacefully on the inside of her arm. She really needed to get that tended to, the one issue being human hospitals couldn't exactly treat her and she wasn't that good with kaido, not that she had the energy for it anyway. It would simply have to be left alone until she got back the the Soul Society, which she would somehow have to do in her condition. She really just cursed her luck.
Her gaze dropped down to the fullbringer that wasn't much better off than she was. "Shout or something" she stated, kneeing him in the side lightly to get his attention. He could at least get the attention of any human that was for some reason still around by taking her advice. She needed him alive in the end, but there wasn't much she could do to help him at the moment. Ariella would just have to assume he'd be smart and listen to her. With that little sliver of advice she shakily stood up, her knees staying slight bent and her back hunched over. It was a pretty pathetic sight to say the least. Despite all of the though, Ariella opened up her own senkaimon, intent on getting back tot he Soul Society as fast as she could. She took a few steps oward it, looking back down to Gray. "I'll be back in a few days" she halfway stated, half warned. In a few days she could start her research on the boy. They would likely both be okay by then. That said, she took the few more steps into the senkaimon, the light from it engulfing her completely before the doors slid shut behind her.

Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣It was dead silent now. No one said a word, and Gray kept expecting something to happen, namely, his throat getting slashed. After having seen the look on Ariella's face, the sheer hopelessness, any high hopes he had, which had been minimal to start with, were gone. She couldn't do anything, he knew he definitely couldn't do anything... they were completely at the Arrancar's mercy. The very thought of how smug said Arrancar must have felt right now almost made Gray want to try something, anything to teach him a lesson. But he would only be throwing his life away if he did that. There was still that tiny chance that they would be let off the hook. That was the only reason he was staying still right now.
Gray felt one of his fingers twitch when the Arrancar finally spoke to him. His temper flared, but before he could do anything about it, he was shoved away from the Arrancar, flying right towards Ariella. Luckily for her, she moved and Gray crashed onto the pavement. After that, he really wished that he hadn't taken his shirt off earlier. Honestly, he hadn't even known about that fact until he felt the scrape of the concrete. But he didn't bitch. More like, he couldn't. Every time his arm even moved, it drove him nuts. He didn't think he could form coherent sentences at the moment; he wasn't about to embarrass himself further by trying. He did, however, hear the Arrancar's parting words. But he didn't give him the satisfaction of a response. He only laid on the ground, not giving any sign that he had even registered the Arrancar's words.
After a while, its Reiatsu vanished and Gray figured the Arrancar had left, but he didn't get up. He didn't want to. Sleeping sounded like a better idea. Just as he was starting to drift off, he felt something prod his side and he started. "Right, right," he said, sounding tired as he rolled onto his back and sat up, this time being mindful of his broken arm. Arillela had since gotten to her feet, starting to walk away and saying that she would be back. What exactly was she coming back for? Before he could ask, some weird door opened out of nowhere and the Shinigami was gone.
She had told him to 'shout or something', but he didn't need to. He could walk. Sort of. He forced himself to his feet nonetheless. Luckily, there were a couple people nearby
