[/div] This place brought back some memories. Ukyo had snuck into an old, somehow stil standing castle. He had gon all the way to the top of one of the towers and was standing out in the open, wind passing by him which was more than soothing to him. He had to take a short trip by himself just to keep his sanity... as much as he had anyway. Ukyo adored those that stood by him for centuries but he had to get away from IA and Zeito bickering constantly and trying to keep Meduote from randomly stuffing people she met. Sometime being surrounded by people as mentally well off as him took its toll on him. As such he left Zeito in charge, hoping he didn't kill IA in the meantime, and took of to Lithuania, remembering one of the places he had actually spent a lot of time some odd centuries ago. He had stayed in this very castle for years, being quite the spectacle because of both his nationality and something rather special about him. Ukyo hadn't changed at all since then. this castle sure had though. Renovations were the only thing keeping it from toppling over and they probably weren't doing much of a good job at that. Just to prove as such Ukyo gave a push on one of the stones that looked a bit loose. As he figured it fell right off its place and went toppling too the ground. 'Why the fuck are we here?' the voice in his head finally decided to announce the boredom Ukyo had been able to sense for the past half hour. 'Aren't you usually more into finding bitches or doing something actually fucking worth out time?' it added in, making it clear what he'd rather be doing with their body. Sure Ukyo had every intention to get around to that later. He wasn't going to go on vacation without meeting someone but that wasn't his priority this time. "We came here to relax" he answered, dropping his head a bit. 'Oh yeah cause being bored as fuck remembering useless things is a really good way to relax. Way to go smarty. You really got a good plan this time. I bet you knew I'd just sit back and breathe in all that fresh air and be fucking changed by the beauty of nature right? Nice try' He went on and on, driving Ukyo up a wall. Relaxation was near impossible even when he was 'by himself'. He was never really by himself and it wasn't just his silent doll. He was ready to just give in and head into one of the nearby towns and get that voice to shut up. Something caught his attention though. There was something of a good amount of power roaming around somewhere. Ukyo straightened up and looked around, trying to pinpoint what or where it was. He'd hate to think something like Switzerland was happening out here. He still had no idea what that Pleonexia person had been all he knew was that they were no good for the humans. Ukyo got a worried look on his face and he felt the roll of eyes in the back of his head which only made his face look even more depressing, brows furrowing as he stiffened up a bit, preparing himself for another rant. The other him didn't disappoint. 'Oh come on. You'll just get stuck protecting some loser and everyone will die anyway. Just fucking let it be for once. I have to fight for you anyway and you hate when I do too much and I hate hearing you bitch about it' He complained, sounding like he really meant it. Ukyo couldn't remember everything that happened in Switzerland but he knew he had put himself in a lot of trouble and the other him had to come out and fix things before he wound up dead. Pacifism was a hard way of life when he wanted to protect damn near everything. Of course He couldn't do a thing to stop Ukyo from feeling somewhat inclined to find whatever was out there. It could have come right to him but he wouldn't be sensed. That was one thing about being a bount. 'If you lay eyes on it I'm killing it' that voice told him with no hesitation, voice full of seriousness. Ukyo knew that wasn't a lie. As far as he knew it had been a while since He killed anybody. He assumed that other bount from Karakura hadn't been killed. The other him was in a pissed off mood when he came to and he was never like that if he killed. He was probably just waiting for a good reason. Ukyo was giving him a good reason to fight and he would likely go all out with it. It made Ukyo almost turn and run away from it then but he couldn't bring himself to do it. He knew right now it would be easy for Him to take over. He was conflicted and that was when he was venerable to that change. Sometimes being the good guy really did make him come in last. Either way he was rather fucked here as the other Ukyo would put it. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words879 ✩ notes READY?!

"Get back here you son of a bitch! You're not gonna get away with it!" A loud, obnoxious voice screamed at the top of his lungs with his sword swinging in the air. His figure could be seen as he darted through the buildings, chasing after what seemed to be a very large creature. This creature was almost indescribable; easily standing at ten feet on it's hind legs, and while it was very cat like, it seemed to love the act of howling. White covered it's entire body in a bone like exoskeleton except for two distinct spots; it's eyes and it's mouth. Red beady eyes stared forward, it's huffs and puffs could be heard to only itself and the young shinigami that was chasing it.
"You're not going to get away! I'm not even at my full speed yet!" Sure the young man had every intention of killing it, but he wanted to talk to it too. He was curious what brought an Adjuchas all the way out here in the bum fuck no where country of Lithuania; in fact, what brought him all the way out in this country? It was cold, it was dark, and it was gloomy; all the things he hated meshed into one giant fuck you by the soul society. He was sure they had their reasons for sending him here; perhaps it was the way he handled that giant hollow situation with that Sonja woman and Tracy or maybe it was the fact he had spent so much time here anyway so they just said screw it!
He wasn't sure what they were thinking, and he didn't much care. He could see something opening up ahead...Trying to escape eh? Not today he wasn't. Shunpoing to the beasts side, Jin swung his leg across, knocking the beast away from the opening. He watched as the beast rolled into a wall of a large castle. Jin arched a brow for a moment, eyeing the large building up before turning his attention to the dazed beast. He wasn't sure what he was going to do with it now. Talk? No, he was clearly evil. Kill it...but how? Kidou? No that would take too long. Release Zetsumei? No, he wasn't that strong. He sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "What ever. I'm sorry...if you understand me." The words came and went as he vanished. Appearing in front of the large beast bringing his sword across both of his front legs.
Toppling over Jin brought his sword down piercing the beasts head. He sighed to himself in disgust, swinging the blade clean of the blood and sheathing his sword. He could feel his gut fill up with a flame of guilt. He shrugged it off quickly, his attention now on the large castle in front of him. He walked up to the stone masterpiece, his hands running along the blocks that were elegantly stacked together to form a safe haven for all inside. To investigate, or head back to soul society. The question itself should be easy, but Jin was always a curious soul. He grinned wildly before shunpoing to the top of the castle, inspecting everything about it from the archer posts to the doorways scattered across the floor. It was a marvel of ingenuity to say the least. He wondered... "who lives here?"

[/div] Okay so Ukyo had decided it was better not to be here, knowing that his other self wasn't making any empty threats. Or at least he had mostly decided that. With his luck though, because nothing could be simple for vampires, just as he turned tovjump off the towering a Batman like fashion, he caught sight of what he had sensed. Rather one of the whats that he had sensed. He spotted a somewhat large hollow not to far off and, even though hollows weren't good news, Ukyo was relieved. He didn't mind killing one of those. This one seemed strong, a bit too strong for a hollow. It was strange but that didn't stop him from reaching back and grabbing his nagamaki. He was pretty confident that he could cut that thing down with ease. Before he could do anything , something became abundantly clear to the bount. Looking just beyond the hollow, Ukyo spotted the shinigami that must have been pursuing it. In an instant he got a worried look. He released his sword, forcing his hand down to his side, using every bit of his will to keep it down there. Already he was being fought against, his hand twitching a bit, probably wanting to grab that hunting knife He liked so much. Ukyo couldn't allow it. Sure shinigami had lied to his family and kidnapped him and ran tests on him like a science project which resulted in what he was now, but he had just gotten lucky. None of that meant shinigami were evil like that demon thing. Were they maybe a bit too into playing God? Probably. Wasn't that the story of every man though? 'Oh yeah. Not fucked at allllllllllllllll...fucking pacifist' he was scolded in his head. Okay maybe all of that stuff was kind of bad! That was ancient history though. Before he knew it the hollow had been taken care of. He must have been too busy trying to keep himself in check to notice it until the thing was fading into nothing but ashes. He started to get relieved again. With that hollow fine the shinigami probably wouldn't stick around. He'd only need a few minutes. Then he could get back to his prior plan. That was typical Ukyo thinking though. Things usually didn't go like he wanted yet for some reason he was always so optimistic. So when the man stuck around, even leaping up onto the roof of a castle there was nothing but roaring laughter echoing in his head. Well at least some one was finding this enjoyable. Ukyo on the other hand was horrified. Maybe staying in Japan and dealing with annoying bickering would have been better for him after all. 'Just give it up' he was told. Ukyo wasn't going to just accept that though. He fought with what he had. He sprinted to the other side of the tower, leaning down over it and looking for the shinigami he had seen. Spotting a blob of white hair wasn't exactly hard to do so it only took him a moment. "You have to leave now!" Ukyo tried to sound demanding but he was a lot more nervous than he thought he as. God dammit. That wasn't going to help him at all. He'd probably just sound like he needed help. Shinigami were all about helping or something. This was just... awful. He knew it was a train wreck because That Guy kept laughing at him. "Please listen to me!" He added in, hoping for the best. The past few minutes had proven how things he hoped for went. Out of no where Ukyo saw a glare of light reflecting off something. He wasn't realty sure what it was at first but after a moment it dawned on him. That was a suspiciously familiar looking hunting knife. Then he noticed that his left hand was extended right int the direction the knife was heading quickly. Realization crashed down on him. He had just thrown a knife at the man. Well a part of him had at least. He mentally cursed and when he tried to pull his hand back it wouldn't come. The other Ukyo was intent on fighting. If anything started it would only be seconds before Ukyo had to hand over Control. He was just so fucking smart. How proud of himself he was. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words735 ✩ notes READY?!

As much as he loved inspecting the large castle, he should really get a move on. He had more missions to do, and he needed to get things ready. He felt like things were going to take a turn for the worse in the next coming weeks, and fending off whatever invasion was going to be enough to keep him occupied. Still, he shrugged and shunpoed back below to the ground, his hands entering his pockets as he started to walk toward the edge. That was until he heard someone yelling at him. He stopped, his hands still wrapped around by his pockets as he tilted his head back and toward the sound.
There, atop the tower was a young looking man, he was pleading for him to run. He wanted him to run, almost like he wanted Jin to escape. But why? What could be here in this castle that was so terrifying, Jin was curious now, but there was something headed toward him. The gleam off of the metal was enough of a warning for the young captain, but even still he needn't worry about the knife. It was physically thrown and he couldn't sense any spiritual power coming off of the other man. But he could at least SEE Jin. He arched a brow, grinned and side stepped the knife. He looked down at the blade that now made the earth it's sheath. Why would he tell him to run, and then throw this knife at him? Was he trying to scare him away?
Jin leaned down as he wrapped his fingers around the hilt of the small knife. It looked eerily like a human hunting knife. But why would a spiritually aware human be all the way out here, of all places? In a castle, with a hunting knife and trying to drive Jin away? A small chuckle came from the young captain as he shunpoed back to the tower, giving him and the young green haired male fifteen feet from one another. Jin's fingers laced themselves around the hilt of his own sword as he tossed the knife back at the other man. "I'm Jin, and I don't appreciate being attacked. If you need help, I can help, but you need to tell me what's wrong."
The words came casually, and while he wasn't sure what the other man was going to do, he was sure of one thing. He was either going to be attacked again, or he was going to show Jin something that he needed to be prepared for. Jin released his blade, grabbing the edges of his haori as he pulled it down and off. He wasn't sure what it was, but he felt like there was something about this man that he should really know about. Or else he would be in for one nasty surprise.

[/div] Ukyo watched the path that his knife took though he would have preferred to get out of there now. The other him was damn attached to that knife though so of course his left leg wasn't cooperating when he tried to take a step back and turn around. Well this was just going extremely well, just according to his plans of a nice, relaxing vacation. He was thankful that the man was able to move out of the way. He didn't have to much feeling in his arm but he could tell he hadn't thrown the blade too hard. That had paid off it seemed. He kept watching though. the man looked up to him then for some reason jumped down to retrieve Ukyo's discarded knife. He was half expecting it to be used to cut him up now but something told him things hadn't escalated that quickly. They were going to get there sure but he had a shot to maybe try and convince the guy to go away. That thought kept fading though. The man got even closer than before, easily attackable from where Ukyo stood. Great. Absolutely great. He then proceeded to throw the knife right back at Ukyo in a way that allowed him to catch it, which he did in fact do. Or some part of him did. All he knew was that the minimal amount of feeling he had in his hand was telling him that he was firmly grasping that hunting knife like his life depended on it. Ukyo glanced down to check, verifying that fact with his distaste. He looked back up to the white haired male, that same concerned look on his face as he forced himself to take a step forward for the effect of urgency. "Just listen to me. You need to get out of here" it was worth trying again right? Not really but that didn't mean he wouldn't keep trying. "There's a very important reason you can't be here right now" God if only he was proud of being a complete lunatic. The shinigami probably wouldn't believe him anyway. His life just had to be so damn complicated. "So...I don't need any help. You can go" he managed to push a smile onto his face. It looked somewhat believable. The man could buy it probably. The chances were actually pretty high. Then suddenly Ukyo took a step back, swaying on his feet. Oh just fabulous. His head fell into his free hand which came up to catch it, completely hiding his face behind it and his long green hair. His shoulders slumped noticeably and he took on an awkward looking stance, leaning back some like his wasn't quite right on his feet. Any chance he had of convincing this man to get out was gone. Really that wasn't even 'Ukyo's' Concern any longer. A dark chuckle passed through his lips, muffled by his hand. Slowly he lifted his head up, revealing only his eyes. That was all he had to do. Just that sight alone would have made it clear that something was completely different now. His eyes were blazing as they looked at the shinigami, filled with some kind of madness. When his hand lowered his smile gave the rest away if this fucking guy was stupid or something. Yes he had been smiling before, but not like this, not so sadistically. "You should have listened to him you know~" right there was a dead give away of what had happened. He hadn't simply been acting before, faking the man to get him close so he could reveal his true self after. This wasn't his self at all. This was something different.
"I didn't get you up here for a strip show you know, pretty boy" he mused as the man took off his haori, trying to comment on something aside from the pathetic actions of his other self. He kept note on just where that fucker's sword was though. No way in hell was he going to be dumb and slip up so stupidly. He wasn't going to stand around and wait for him to use it either though. While one hand went back to grip his nagamaki his other hand tossed the knife around in his hand, just looking at Jin for a short while. Finally like that he snapped with his patience and lunged forward, disappearing in a flash only reappear less than a second later in front of Jin, his nagamaki drawn in the short time and the blunt, long handle of it being shoved at the man's stomach. It wouldn't be fun to just stab through him right away. Blunt damage was a lot more fun to watch.
Ukyo continued right on off of the roof, Jin with him or not. He drew his nagamaki back though, spinning it around quickly as he made a jab backward, stabbing it into the brick if the castle wall. It caught him there, allowing him to not just fall to his death right away. That wasn't part of his agenda. He looked around for the man again before he finally whipped his hand forward and threw his knife again. If it were in Jin's direction well then that was great. If it wasn't he didn't care. He had thrown it with the purpose. Besides he needed a free hand right now and the nagamaki was a lot better for how he wanted to start things out. He hung off the side of the wall, halfway hanging from the blade and halfway holding himself up by placing his feet on the wall and standing at an angle. Even this would serve him some purpose if the man came at him which he was banking on. Even if he didn't, well then he had some great leverage for speed right now if the guy turned out to be a fucking pussy and ran away from this fight like his other self had tried so hard to get him to do. Some people just needed obvious reasons presented to them.stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words1019 ✩ notes notey note?

There was something off about the young looking man that stood before him. He was anxious, that much was for sure, but he didn't seem to be hurt. He wanted Jin gone, but he wasn't being attacked nor was he being forced here. Then there was the lack of energy that emitted from him. He wasn't shinigami, he wasn't a hollow or an Arrancar...human? No, they would still give off something...Jin had a theory of what the man was, but he wasn't utterly sure. Still, the fact of the matter was he wanted him gone and he was going to find out why.
At least, that was until Jin noticed that he was stumbling around. He rose a hand toward the other man, taking a step toward him before he saw him catch himself. His hand covering his face. There was definitely something wrong here, he was probably sick and didn't want to be a hindrance toward him. Jin didn't mind helping him, and so he decided to take another step toward the green haired male. He was roughly seven feet from the other man before he heard a very dark, almost maniacal laughter escape through the other mans lips. His hand still covering his face before his head rose. Jin narrowed his eyes, taking a large leap backward. Those eyes weren't normal. They were...evil; but that man wasn't evil, at least he didn't seem that way. He seemed kind; scared, but kind.
Jin kept his mouth shut, he wanted to wait before acting. Maybe he was trying a different tactic to get him to run away, scared of his evil-shady nature. No...there was definitely something wrong with this kind. This became most apparent and finally solidified in his mind when he lowered his hand and that smile came into eye view. Jin grabbed the hilt to his blade, slowly pulling it from it's protective sheath. There was no doubt about it, this guy was insane. "Him? What do you mean by him...?" As he took a readied stance, Jin took in a deep breath, he was sure that the question would just get brushed off, but speaking helped Jin think. He was best at observation, but talking about things helped him get his mind off of the rest of the world. His eyes watched the man as he played with his knife, and fiddled with a second weapon. Jin's facial expression, and eyes seemed not phased in the slightest by the comment about stripping; normally willing to joke and laugh, something told him being as serious as possible was going to be necessary.
However, Jin's readied stance and watching the other man wasn't enough for what came next. The other man was fast, not as fast as he was but there was something off for sure. It wasn't shunpo, or sonido, or the quincy equivalent of high speed movement. He couldn't be....No... That nearly gave it away in and of itself, but he needed to focus on the task at hand. Jin tightened his stomach, clenching the muscles in his stomach as he braced for the blow to come. Jin winced a bit, not at the pain, but the sheer force was enough to knock the wind out of him. He was strong, but blunt damage wasn't going to be enough to take him down. Still, the other man vanished, diving off of the building wall. Jin stopped, catching his breath as he waited to see if the man reappeared; he didn't, but that damn knife of his had. This time though Jin wouldn't be kind and return it without using it himself. Bringing his blade into the air and then striking downward, he knocked the knife out of the sky and toward the ground. Jin grasped the small bladed hunting knife before he darted toward the roof's edge.
Jin leaped off, his eyes scanning until he found the other man and wouldn't you know it. He was just hanging around, but Jin had a plan. He instantly shunpoed, utilizing his speed before appearing below the man, bringing his left hand into the air and throwing the knife at the other man, using it mostly as a distraction. He followed by appearing on the ground, with his hand raised in the air as he recited a couple of words. "Hado number 50: Rushageki (Red Gunshot)" A red burst of energy escaped from the mans hand as the name was finished being recited. Jin wasn't aiming to kill, but instead to simply attempt and knock the man out.

[/div] He could still feel the remnants of that his to Jin traveling up his arm and Ukyo loved every second of it. It had felt like he hit a pretty hard surface. Obviously it seemed the man had the time to prepare himself at least a little bit even if he couldn't get the fuck out of the way since Ukyo was just such a beast or something. All he knew was that the guy needed to hurry up and get to where Ukyo could see him. He didn't like waiting that much believe it or not. If you lived in the back of some one's mind, unable to do much more than talk, you would get a bit ancy when you finally had a body too. It was a damn good body too. Ukyo kept it nice and in shape for him like a sweetheart. He'd have to leave the guy quite the treat when he let him come back eventually. This shinigami was an understanding man it seemed. He didn't keep Ukyo waiting long. In fact he was extra understanding and, likely without knowing it, played right into Ukyo's plan. He would have gone through with it anyway but this positioning was just perfect. Wouldn't you know it though, he only got more reasonable. Or he probably thought he was being reasonable. He had brought Ukyo's knife back to him again. Unfortunately he didn't really want it right now and even though Jin was nice enough to throw it at him with a good speed he had no use for it right now. Well he could work all of that into he previously absolutely perfect plan. Actually now that he thought about it, that could play in rather nicely. Ukyo grabbed his nagamaki handle with both hands now. Obviously he wasn't just going to catch the knife like last time. Instead he kicked away from the wall, using his arms to support himself now. One leg extended perfectly to allow the bottom of his shoe to hit the tip of the handle of the hunting knife. It was nearly perfect and Ukyo sent the blade flying away toward one of the other towers to keep it where he wanted it. That was all to be checked and dealt with later though. Right now he had something else to finish. "Thank you for retrieving that for me but this time please do leave it alone~" he called down to the shinigami as he kept swinging to the side with the force he had left. Right about then he noticed the man had his hand out in a way very similar to using kido he had seen a few times. Well then.. his plan was going to be useful in another way then. As the man got his kido prepared, Ukyo maneuvered his body so that he could give a harsh tug downward on his nagamaki. That loosened up the stone above it. Like that his feet were planted back on the wall and he was looking right down at a red blast of energy coming his way. Ukyo got some kind of ecstatic look on his face at that even though he should have been using his short amount of time better. Whatever he did what he wanted to. He only had one thing left to do anyway. He gave another, extra strong tug to his blade and like that he completely torn stone bricks away from the tower. It began to topple above him, the bricks over top and around it all following suit as their support fell away. He had just knocked away about twenty feet of tower and it was falling over the both of them. Ukyo's hand caught was now the top brick and he held himself flat against the wall at first, avoiding falling rocks. Not only were they heading right for the man to crush him but they were also blocking out some of that troublesome kido. It couldn't possible block it all of course. A beam of it swept up right past Ukyo. It seared right up the side of his left arm, tearing away at his sleeve and leaving a moderate burn on his hand. He wasn't about to hang around and just wait for a possibly uncrushed shinigami to take another shot at him. That would be a bit silly of him. He was the best and that move had been pretty bad ass and all but shinigami had been real pests in his past and he was sure they weren't going to suddenly become anything but annoying to him. He pushed away with he feet again, flipping up over the destroyed wall. When he was all the way over his foot met a remaining stair that led to absolutely nothing there. Ukyo wasn't going to be very happy about him doing that later. He was all sentimental and stuff like that. He got a sour look on his face. That wasn't a lecture he was looking forward to. 'Why can't you appreciate anything?' 'A part of our lives were left behind that place!' 'Can't you be a bit more gentle?' 'Why did you have to fight anyway?' Oh fuck just imagining it was God awful. Then he remembered there was something else that would have been a better use of his attention, aka a way to push that fake lecture out of his head before he died of pacifism. "Oh, shinigami-san~ Are you okay?~" he placed his foot up on the few stone bricks that still stood as a wall. He looked down over the edge at what just looked like a pile of rocks. He couldn't really tell of there was blood all over them or not. It was sort of dusty down there. So that was what happened when you destroyed castles? Ukyo halfway wished he had joined some random raid a few centuries back so he didn't have to learn this at a time when people just didn't destroy castles. He felt a bit behind. Oh well he knew now. That was what mattered right? Sure. It seemed he got distracted again. That was too bad. Oh well some part of him figured something was coming. He'd be ready when he saw it or something of that sort. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words1061 ✩ notes Castle go Boom

Words: 600 Notes: Rawr.. Tags: Ukyo He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Jin was fairly impressed with the other man. He was able to move, and knock away the knife at such a position. It was humbling to see someone so good ever since he fought that primera Espada, and that damn Neveno Espada. Jin wanted to get better, and fighting something like this would give him just that ability. The only issue he saw right now was the fact that while he had an idea, he wasn't one-hundred percent sure just what this other man was. He was insane, or he had something else inside of him, but he wasn't a vizard. He could be something new, but he didn't believe it. I guess I can ask him, what would that hurt?
As Jin raised his hand, his finger drooped down and a comical sweat drop appeared over his head, or at least it would have if this was a damn cartoon. The other man just tore half of a pillar down, sending all of the blocks, rocks, and concrete his way to, in any logical conclusion, to crush him. Still, luckily Jin's kidou had taken out a good portion of the rocks in one line, but there were still hundreds of pieces going his way. He sighed, and had little time to react; still, he had a plan. Jin rose his hand and spoke as low as he could while casting a kidou over his body. "Kyokko (Bent Light)" This would cover his presence, and his reiatsu and that would lead into the next part of his plan. Shunpoing, Jin left an afterimage in his wake, one that could react to damage. And using his absolutely amazing acting skills, as the rocks fell onto the after-image, Jin cried out loudly, obviously faking the pain.
"Oh god...noooooooooo-argh..." Still, Jin needed to hurry as this Bakudo without incantation wouldn't last for very long. Shunpoing above the other man, Jin brought his invisible sword back, and spoke as a floating voice. Perhaps the other man would think he was a voice in his head or something. "Death be with you. Zetsumei!" Sadly Jin wouldn't be able to hold the invisible form with the amount of energy coming off of him. And with a wild grin, Jin nodded his head and spoke rather loudly down at the green haired man.
"Peak-a-boo motha'fucka!" And with that, Jin shunpoed downward, using his impressive speed to attempt and cut the man on his side. Whether or not this worked was completely up to the other man, and his ability to intercept, and block an attack from a previously invisible floating voice. And should this sneak attack from the white haired captain work, well a blood ridden dog will emerge from the muck and fall back with Jin as the two of them(possible) reach the roof where he will continue the battle. Jin needed to regroup, and gather his thoughts on what this man was. Oooooorrrrr..... "So...this may seem racist, but I've read reports....are you a...Bount by chance?" Jin based this on three key points. He wasn't an Arrancar, he didn't have any visible hollow mask remains, nor did he feel or see any reiatsu; he wasn't a shinigami, or a vizard because there was no way to completely hide your reiatsu without the bakudo he had used, but the he should also be invisible. Then there was the fact that he was out here, by himself, with a weapon. Who does that? Besides shinigami, quincy, vizard. and arrancar. Alright...maybe that last point was a little far-fetched.

[/div] Ukyo got a glimpse through the rocks that were craving down. He could spot a little bit of a shinigami down there and smiled a bit when a larger chunk blocked his view. It wouldn't have been nearly as good of that blood curling scream hadn't followed by a whole bunch of crashing as the rocks slammed into the earth. That was really nice. Like music to his ears. He couldn't sense anything for a short while. That was a good sign. It meant this shinigami was a bust and he'd have to just go kill some one or something in a a bit. Lord knew he didn't want to stick around when some poor soul came back to find the castle the managed in this state. He'd get blamed for sure. That would be completely correct but how relevant was being correct anymore? The turf always gets buried! Or some hippy thing like that. Ukyo shrugged it off and looked around for his knife. He'd have to find that before he ran like a mother fucker to the nearest bar to maybe fuck a mother. It sounded like a great plan. He was over the disappointing shinigami now. People had to be annoying to him though. He heard a voice from somewhere levelish with where he was. He got a sour look on his face, his mood quickly deteriorating. The line was something he'd probably use. The problem was he was in control right now so voices in his head wouldn't be saying things like that. So that left either a ghost or a shinigami it sounded like, who was also technically a ghost. Just great. He had some kind of invisible spell going on or something. Of course that was useless when the man released his shikai. He assumed that's what it was. There was some weird phrase and it wasn't followed by Harold this great fucking number and he doubted the man was a nonsense talker. What did he know though? The thing could have been mentally fucked over. Like that the man was visible. Ukyo only caught glimpse of him form a moment though. Well shit, this got even more annoying. He spotted the man again off to the side some, probably attacking. Ukyo couldn't compare to the speed the man had, at least not at such a short range. There were perks to having a big ass weapon though. He spun his nagamaki in his hand, letting the handle slide through his palm so that the blade and the rest of the handle were sticking out beside him at an angle that would hopefully block some physical attack. He felt something clash with the blade, heard metal ringing together and instantly tightened his grip again. As it turned out he had an advantage in strength, able to stop the sword a few inches short of his side, perhaps even able to push the man away. He wasn't too sure on that because the shinigami didn't bother to stick around and wait for Ukyo to hit him again. It was such a pity. Of course the fact still stood that he had just injured the arm he had used to block that cut. Needless to say it had a pretty good fucking ache in it now, even for the nonpansy version of Ukyo. He wouldn't say so out loud but damn... he was a little bit grateful the shinigami hadn't just stuck around or immediately attacked again. He rolled his shoulder, shaking his arm a bit, like he could just shake it until all the pain went away. It was bullshit but could anyone blame him for trying? He only looked around for the white haired man when he heard him speaking again. He was worried about racist? That was really his biggest concern right now? Ukyo just sent him a stupid look for a few moments. Maybe he was a bit dramatic about the whole thing, but honestly how fun could shit get if the world didn't have drama queens? Finally he just rolled his eyes and straightened up. "Yeah, no fucking shit Sherlock" he responded coldly. If this guy knew anything, which he doubted a bit, he should have gotten the fact that here was this random guy hanging out at a castle, with strength to rival his own, and yet no trace of power anywhere about him. Ukyo wasn't the most knowledged person alive but he knew vampires.. er bounts were special that way. All the racism and mysteries were done with now so that was one goodish thing. Ukyo could focus on going in for another attack. He half expected to be blasted in the face with another magic spell. Nerds and their magic these days. Whatever. He could pwn magic with his absolute awesomeness. In fact that was his only plan for now. Sure he could be all cool and release his doll but he could also be even cooler and stomp this man's face in without it. He opted for the latter for the time being, really liking the idea of breaking bone and cutting flesh under the weight of his foot. He was into shit like that. That all in mind Ukyo threw his nagamaki back and forth to make sure his arm wasn't messed up too bad. By the smile he had on his face it would seem he was going to be A-okay. In the middle of one toss, when he figured the shinigami would least expect it, he lunged forward, pushing off the edge of what was left of the tower, his right hand grabbing the long handle of his blade in the process. He might not have moved as fast as the shinigami could nor have some cool name for his really fast run type deal but he still vanished from the normal human's plain sight. He wasn't too sneaky again, just appearing in front of the man, both hands holding his sword high above his head. Seemed like he was just going to go for the straight up storm and slash technique that every hero in every manga ever got away with. Ukyo was a plot armor free man though so he didn't honestly think this would be so simple. That's why that wasn't the kind of attack he was going for. As he brought down his blade as some type of distraction he spun his legs slightly and like that one foot was being kicked right at the man's ribs from Ukyo's right. He figured it would be reasonable to assume the man would leave an opening by reacting to the sword flying at his face, because people didn't enjoy swords to the face. Whether his kick landed perfectly, was blocked or all around dodged Ukyo continued to turn, his other foot meeting the surface of this nice, undestoryed tower where he came to a stop, facing the shinigami with an amused smile to greet him, or not if he was sent flying. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words1170 ✩ notes nerd

Words: 721 Notes: Rawr.. Tags: Ukyo He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Disappointed wasn't exactly the word Jin would use to describe his current feeling. He wasn't impressed either. It was a strange mix of the two. Impressapointed? Disapressive? He wasn't too sure, but the fact that the man had managed to react to his invisi-strike, a name he had literally just came up with, was disappointing, and impressive all at the same time. He was skilled with a sword, fast enough, and Jin felt that his sword hadn't moved an inch after coming into contact with his opponents sword. So he was strong too. Fast-ish. Strong. With some good swordsmanship. All of this idling ended though when he had blatantly mocked him.
He couldn't help but allow his eyebrow to twitch. A vein would have mostly definitely popped out had this been a cartoon; this guy really knew how to make Jin mad and he hadn't even said more than three sentences in a row to him. How was he supposed to know he was a bount? It's not like Soul society has a bount 101 class or something; maybe they should. The thought pondered in his mind before Jin's attention was once more directed at the other man. He pointed an accusatory finger at him, his voice bellowing loudly. "Now you listen here you overgrown cucumber. I didn't come here to kill you, but if you keep going you're bound to head down that path! I'm not sure that you want that, I'm just sayin'."
Jin nodded to himself, obviously proud of his insult toward the other man. This was, of course, taken away when the other man had gotten to close to him. He didn't know of any bount movement, like shunpo, so he just assumed the man was moving using his own speed, and while it was impressive, it was nothing to gawk at. The gawking would come in a moment as the other man started to bring his sword down toward Jin. Now, instinctively, Jin would do one of two things. Outside of shikai, he would block the attack with his own sword, avoiding all damage, if possible; however, while in shikai, Jin wasn't against idea of taking a hit to somehow trap his opponent in place so he could then deal his own strike. Still, this man didn't seem open to letting Jin go if he, somehow, got the upper hand. Still, allowing the man too many free passes also wasn't in his game plan.
This led Jin to bring his left hand toward the blade. He wanted to catch the mans sword, but he had another plan. He brought his leg around, trying to kick Jin in his ribs. Had the man taken the time to spin his body, and strike Jin as hard as he could, it would have probably hurt much worse. However, as it stood, simply kicking from a standing position, while it would hurt, wasn't nearly as dangerous as it could of been. Still, Jin left his ribs open, and feeling the leg come into contact with his side, he let out a grunt before being kicked off toward the side. He was almost certain that giving this man too many free passes wasn't in the game plan. Still, it didn't hurt, Jin had been stabbed on multiple occasions. Shaking it off Jin spun in mid air before coming to a stop in front of the other person by roughly fifteen feet.
"You've got some strength to ya. Hell, you're even alright with a sword....but..." Jin grinned wildly before shunpoing to the mans front. His sword coming across from right to left, but before it reached the mans ribs, Jin shunpoed once more, appearing behind the man. His sword finishing it's arc from the previous swing and going straight into a second strike from above toward the mans back. However, this was also a fake-out, a feint as some called, and instead Jin appeared above the man, bringing his sword across toward the mans shoulder blade. He planned on cutting the shoulder as well as he could. The previous kick had hurt, and it would definitely bruise some ribs, but it wasn't anything major. And ignoring pain was something Jin was pretty well known for. Still, it was now time to enact the 'don't give him to many free passes plan.'

[/div] He wasn't fond of the nickname he had bee given. Ukyo figured he could come up with worse though so he made that a goal to go along with destroying the shinigami. When his foot made contact with the man's side he decided it was safe to start thinking of a good pet name for him. He was pretty confident that a blow like that would make his snowy little opponent halt in an attack, unless his bones were made of steel or something of the sort. He doubted they were though so he was pretty confident he had a few seconds to recover and think of a really good comeback for the whole cucumber thing he didn't even get. What because he had green hair? It wasn't even the same color as a cucumber. Did shinigami even like... associate with cucumbers? These were the things he thought about in a time like this? Apparently so because he was halfway gone when the white haired guy started to talk to him again. He had 'some' strength and he was 'alright' with a sword. Ukyo would say those were understatements, and he just smirked in an overly cocky way to show that. He was the one in better shape right now wasn't he? Ukyo didn't quite think the shinigami was the one that needed to be making light of his opponent's strength. Acting like a douche bag turned out to not always be a good idea. He had been waiting to hear the rest of what the guy had to say, so he didn't pay enough attention. The man had shunpoed forward and Ukyo hadn't caught it that vary second. He was still able to start drawing his blade. It would have done him any good anyway. By the time he had his sword where it should have been to block the shinigami was already gone from sight again. Oh. So he was picking up a few things from Ukyo's style. He hadn't expected a style close to his own, full of surprises and fakes, but he knew that he had gotten fucked over this time. He knew exactly what he would do, go for the place the albino shinigami could get to slowest. That was of course behind him. He turned his head, baring his teeth as he narrowed his eyes. Just as expected the man was there and already that blade was digging into the skin of his back, slicing across it before he could even more away. The shinigami started into another swing of his sword, but Ukyo wasn't so stupid this time. Immediately he turned around which would have made the incoming attack worse for him, drawing his sword up, not even making a move to block the attack he had first seen. It wasn't a real attack and he knew it. He had his sword up and ready to clash with the second real strike. That 'some strength' he had was more than enough for him to stop the blade. "But what, my little bunny?" he mused, not putting off any sign that he was putting out a fraction of the energy he actually was. Bunny seemed fitting since they could be all albino like this guy, and they were highly unmasculine and on the extremely high on the cuteness scale. Showed what he thought of the man right about now. His smile only twisted more, and he pushed on his own sword, trying to shove the man away from him a bit. "You can't think this is everything anyway, right?" Ukyo wondered out loud. He had just been fighting with his sword and strength. Surely the shinigami knew he had a lot more to offer. Well just in case he didn't Ukyo decided he would show him. That and he felt like some over kill right about now. Was that so wrong? There was a glow from the pendant hanging on his neck and eventually it even encased Ukyo himself. When that light died down though it revealed something other than just Ukyo standing there. Whatever was next to him looked like nothing more than a shadow with that light, but it was far too solid for that too be true. When the light was gone fully it was clear that this second Ukyo was just a form made up entirely of nearly pitch black metal. It had chains hanging from its limbs, but other than that it was nearly a replica of its master save for the color. This was his released doll, Auspeitschen Atem. Both the doll and Ukyo were wearing pretty insane looking smiles right about now. Needless to say it wasn't a sight anyone should have been looking forward to. It was hardly a sight for very long though. Both Ukyo and Auspeitschen Atem launched themselves at top speed at the man, both with swords drawn, and both with deadly intent. The doll took the lead, darting out to run right up to the man from the front. It gave a swing of its sword from the shinigami's left shoulder and down. Of course right behind this came one of its chains. Already building up around it was wind. As Auspeitschen Atem swung that chain came down and released a slash of wind that would be much more devastating than just a simple sword swing. It would not only likely make a deeper cut with less cleanliness to it, but it would also likely send the man flying with that wind. Ukyo was banking on this extra effect or even if the man just made a move to dodge in some direction. There was a reason he had commended his doll to prepare so much besides the overkill factor. If the shinigami was caught up with his doll then he wouldn't be paying as much attention to the being not attacking him head on. In other words Ukyo had some cover. He rushed ahead of his doll at full speed now, staying down low as he bound forward, staying below the shinigami or where his blade would immediately reach. He swung his own nagamaki up above him, using its long length to his advantage so he didn't have to get to close to the man and possibly face some retaliation in the form of a slice or hit. "So what do you think now, Bunny?" he called, snickering afterward. He was pretty sure he had just given the man a taste of how he really liked to fight. Maybe it was a bit dirty since it was very much two on one now, but that was how he liked it. People who played by the rules never got anything done. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words1119 ✩ notes nerd

Words: 882 Notes: Rawr.. Tags: Ukyo He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! There were times where he wished he had just gone home; not because he feared this man, on the contrary he felt this man was rather underwhelming (but who wouldn't be compared to the Primera). No, he wished he had just left because he could be doing anything else at the moment; swooning lovely shinigami females, drinking till he dropped, perhaps both? Jin turned his head from side to side while still keeping the man within eye sight. He didn't need him getting away from whatever he had planned. There was something that happened that would lead to Jin's favor. The man had taken a direct hit on his back, and the cut was enough to make him bleed. And that only meant one thing. Still, Jin's little nickname had caught him off guard; "Bunny"? Well, it could have been worse.
There was some distance created when the man pushed off of Jin's blade, giving Jin time to shunpo and watch onward to what he was planning. From under them, however, a red dog made of what looked like blood came leaping upward toward the battlefield in the sky. It didn't move, waiting for it's masters orders, but before Jin would let this man get the upper hand, he brought his sword across the side of his forearm cutting him open, and then once more across his leg. He let out a deep breath, it was almost done. With three dogs now standing beside him, Jin witnessed a bright light come from the man. This was what he was expecting, what he knew the man was holding back. He may not have dealt with a lot of Bounts, or any for that matter, the information on them was detailed.
Jin took in a deep breath as he started to coat the black blade in the leaking blood from his arm. Preparing for what this man had in store was going to be necessary, he had learned already that letting him get the upper hand would be out of control. With eyes still locked onto the man...men...whatever, Jin started to think of ways to take him down. He knew, at least for a fact, that he was faster than this man. In theory, that would make him faster than his doll as well. However, to that same extent, it would be safe to assume that this doll was also as physically strong as it's master. However, while this doll also had powers beyond it's master, Jin knew better. This man had done nothing but trick him while hiding, or using distractions to keep Jin away from the man focus. Him.
As the two of them rushed toward Jin, he placed his hand over the first dog; Like he assumed, the doll was taking the lead. Pointing his hand forward, Jin directed the second dog to attack, and keep the bount busy while the third dog stayed back, watching carefully. He needed to keep his eyes on the other man as well. He was faster, so watching him wouldn't be a problem. Still, he needed to multi-task, but luckily for him he had some helpers, just like this man had. Pulsating his reiatsu over the first dog, Jin turned it into a spear, roughly five foot in length, Jin brought his sword up to block the sword that came down while bringing his spear across toward the doll. The dolls strength easily pushing Jin down. However, without a seconds notice, Jin took the spear and aimed it at the dolls side, and using it's body (should it land) as a center point, Jin would push himself with it and his sword away from the doll. And luckily for him he had, as the chains that hung from the doll started coming his way. Taking in a deep breath Jin let go of the spear as the dog that hung back leaped forward, blocking the chain and the subsequent wind that (that still propelled Jin to the side, but not enough to knock him out of it)
Just like Jin had predicted, the man made his way over to Jin. The man had gone below Jin, and brought his extra long sword skyward. Normally this would mean one thing - there would be no way of reaching him. Normally this would be a problem, but Jin had one distinct advantage; speed. Bringing his blade downward, Jin clashed his sword with the mans, but instead of trying to keep the man back with his own strength, he allowed him to overpower him, pushing him back while Jin kept his blade close to his chest. As some distance created itself, Jin would shunpo, leaving a loud pop in his wake, before appear to the mans side. Swinging his sword from left to right, he enacted his blades signature attack. "Ketsueki Zangeki" From the blades arc, a red tight beam was fired toward the man. Whether or not the first physical strike landed wasn't of his concern, oh no, the beam which he couldn't have been expecting was the real kicker. Still, he had to worry about that damn doll. Even should neither strike land, Jin created some distance between the two of them and his doll. He needed to keep a close eye on them.

[/div] This shinigami seemed to be doing Ukyo's job for him. He was cutting himself with his own blade, something that confused Ukyo a bit. Generally people didn't like to be cut. Had he scared the man into suicide? Ukyo was terrifying and all, but that seemed a bit extreme. He soon learned that he hadn't forced Jin to kill himself. It would have been a shame if that had been the case. He had the decency to let Ukyo kill him. That was very good, very very good. The real point of that seemed to be that this shinigami's entire power was about blood. That made a bit more sense than offing himself. It was still true that he was just helping Ukyo out in the long run, but he was at least doing what he had to do right? Sure he could go with that, so he was pretty okay with not inflicting overy wound himself. The Blood the man controlled took on the shape of three different dogs. It seemed fitting, but Ukyo didn't say so outloud. He just smirked and snickered a little bit, which would likely give his thoughts away. They weren't as perfect as rabbits, but they were just great for future insults if it came down to that. Ukyo was pretty sure it would too. Right now though he just didn't have the time, nor did he want to deal with a dog or two. He was already going in for his attack and the shinigami decided he was just going to be an ass and interrupt him by sending one of those dogs Ukyo's way. It was a bit of a pain, and Ukyo couldn't help but frown. He wanted to slice up the man, not some dog that probably didn't even have a nervous system to feel. That didn't stop him from trying or anything though. While he was still close to that first dog, Ukyo lashed out it with his blade, pretty sure it would be weaker than himself. Even if it bit down on his blade or whatever dogs did, Ukyo could free himself up easily enough to move on with his attack. Hell if he was lucky or something, he might have just cut through the thing as an added bonus. Up ahead he could see one dog transform, which he assumed put it out of use. Another dog had protected its master and taken the chain that Auspietschen Atem had attacked with. That definitely put that dog out of use. The way Ukyo saw it he had one dog at most to worry about anymore, if he could even call it worrying. As he passed his doll, Ukyo took note of a tear at its side. He narrowed his eyes at that, recalling one of those blood dogs had been the source of that. Maybe he needed to watch out for those. Not right now though. There wasn't a dog anywhere near him or Jin. It had come down to their swords again, the was Ukyo liked it. He had a lot more physical strength than this guy so anything that involved that would have pretty good outcomes. Even now he felt little to no resistance to his attack. There wasn't a lot more for the shinigami to do besides just blocking his strikes. Ukyo hadn't really thought about it too much. He was basically propelling the man who was already a decent amount faster than himself. See this is why he liked sword stuff. The shinigami could be all fast, but Ukyo could just own his dumb old sword. He couldn't quite move as fast when it came to getting in a ready position. This guy just had to go against everything like the annoyance he had been for his entire being there. It was a damn pain. He was at least able to react fast enough to turn and bring his sword with him. He made it in time to avoid what would have easily been a bad cut. Jin was saying something though and Ukyo noticed something else about Jin's attack that made it more dangerous. There was a beam of some sorts coming his way. Ukyo had his own speed, but he wasn't even sure how much that could help him anymore. He gave a hard push down on Jin's blade, hoping to deter that beam's aim a bit by changing its launching point. At the same time he was pushing himself up as fast as he could. That beam still swiped past his legs, making him hiss in pain as it left its mark, even cutting past his pant leg and flesh some. He felt it slide around to around his leg, leaving on the inside safe. Even though it would only allow the beam to slice more skin away, Ukyo continued his ascent, that bean tear apart the skin at the side , front, and back of his leg until it reach his foot and he was cleared of it. Instantly he gave a pushed from the air, creating a place to push off of with an output of energy. He launched himself to a place where he would be completely out of the shinigami's sight. That didn't mean the man was safe. The same time Ukyo vanished was when his doll made its own move. It had launched itself forward while Jin's own attack was going on. As it did so the chains that hung from its arms began to spin rapidly. As wind built up in those chains again, Auspietschen Atem closed in to try and make sure its attack would do what Ukyo needed it to. it placed itself behind the man, somewhere it knew the shinigami would be in between itself and its master. Auspietschen Atem had its sword drawn and it slashed outward, needing to get the man to move some. Not more than a moment later it released the wind that had been building up in its chains. It wasn't like before though. This was a lot more than just some simple swipe of air. These winds formed two funnel shapes, sharp ends aimed right at Jin. With such close range and with the sheer size of the spinning winds, each nearly ten feet wide, it wasn't likely that it would be fully escapable. If the winds hit, not only would they send Jin flying with them, but their rapid moving and uneven points would cut along his body. Hell if they hit dead on it would most likely leave a pretty ugly wound. Getting a dead on hit wasn't the point though. The point was to get Jin flying. That was what Ukyo was waiting for. He had taken refuge at the tower he left his knife in. Now he had it in his hand, and he had his eyes on Jin. Timing things just right, he launched himself with a great push, sending himself forward right at the man. He didn't get up to full speed, his legs not letting him do that without a fit, but it was plenty in Ukyo's mind. Throwing his knife first, hoping the man was a bit busy either dealing with being cut or trying to come to a stop. Ukyo wasn't far behind though, his nagamaki also ready. He was closing the distance, still having that lovely dream that he had the element of surprise. This guy couldn't sense him and he had hidden. The odds were in his favor unless he messed up somewhere. With luck not only would his knife embed itself into the man's side, but it would be joined shortly by Ukyo's other blade which was aimed to pierce right above his knife, right around Jin's bottom ribs. That was in a perfect world though. If this shinigami was showing him anything it was that he wasn't in a perfect world right now. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words1328 ✩ notes nerd

Words: 828 Notes: Rawr.. Tags: Ukyo He's not an upright Dog But an on all fours dog ! Everything was coming to fruition. Between Jin's strikes, the way he was defending against this man in a two on one, and even damaging the damn bount and his doll; Jin grinned but he wasn't out of the ball park yet. The other man was strong, and he wasn't going down without a fight, but there was something strange about him. He was rather full of himself or at least that's what Jin gathered from him, the way he acted and his general mannerisms. Still, he wasn't saying anything, so that was good. But he was running away now. Where was he going that his doll wasn't following? Simple deduction would imply that he was preparing for a surprise attack, but Jin had to make a decision; give chase and take a direct hit from the doll, or stop the doll and risk whatever the other ma was prepping for.
He didn't like either option to be completely honest, but he knew his decision was coming to a head. Time was slowing as Jin weighed his options. Nodding inwardly, the answer finding hi, Jin swung his sword downward, a red glyph appeared under the man. Red tendrils pierced his feet, draining him of six ounces of blood in an instant. Surely the doll, let alone the other man, wouldn't have noticed what was happening, but bringing his head up, the wind spirals a mere five feet from his person, six red beams erupted from under him. Two flew forward, each aimed at the center most point of the wind spears. Jin's beams firing off, and pushing into the center of the spears caused the tips of the spears to nearly implode inward, flattening the spirals into a less dangerous, but still formidable attack. The other four beams fired off seconds after the first two, these however were aimed at the doll. The distance between the two of them would make it hard to dodge all of them, if not all of them.
Even with that over, Jin felt the collision of the wind pillars on his person, both of them hitting him flat, but pushing him away at such a speed that it was hard to stabilize himself, even with his mastery of his reiatsu, and reiryoku. He needed to stabilize himself or the bastard was going to find him. It wasn't long though, Jin was starting to slow down, his flipping had stopped but he still couldn't completely halt his body. That's when he felt a distinct ping of pain in his lower ribs from behind. Well, he KNEW where the man was now. Cutting his arm and flinging the blood forward a dog appeared in front of Jin. Grasping the beasts head, he used it as a pivot to turn himself around. He was still flying backwards, but he could see the man now. He was going to stab Jin. Perfect. Shifting his hips and upper torso outward, and sucking his midsection to the other side, the blade still managed to pierce Jin, but the cut was superficial. Bringing his arm around, Jin went for the mans wrist, aiming to hold him down.
In doing so he tossed his sword into the air, and used his right arm to reach around his back and grab the knife. He had one goal, stab the damn bastard. Yanking the blade from behind him, Jin flipped it around, and as fast as he could brought it down toward the mans shoulder, aiming to pierce all the way down to the bone, if he could. Not wasting any more time around him, Jin brought his leg up and kicked inward, aiming to let go of the mans wrist right as his foot would make contact. To not only get a free hit in, but to also push him off so Jin could release the blade from his side. Even though the fight was even, the doll, plus the man was making this rather difficult, he needed to even the odds. Grasping his sword from mid air, Jin shunpoed with a crack of the wind, now standing on the ground below the two of them. He was using his bankai more often than he would have liked.
Raising his reiatsu to it's peak, Jin brought his sword around and plunged it into his gut. In that same instant though, his reiatsu was pushed far higher than it had been the entire day, and a single word hung from his lips. "Bankai..." From behind him a large, thirty foot by fifty foot tree burst from the ground. The entirety of his person now shrouded by foliage while the branches were beaming with fruit. He let out a soft sigh before pulling the sword from his gut, the sword itself transforming and reshaping into a much more menacing and evil blade. Hooks and blood hanging from it. He needed to end this battle soon. But first, he'd let the bount...come to him.

[/div] Even without Auspietschen Atem in his sight, Ukyo could send enough message to the doll, connecting with, able to tell what was happening near the doll. He knew pretty well that though beams wouldn't tickle the doll that was already slightly damaged from a prior attack. The doll got the clear order not to get hit, though fulfilling such an order would be a lot harder than it sounded. There wasn't that much distance, and Auspietschen Atem wasn't exactly the fastest out there, only able to move as quickly as Ukyo could. Apparently his master was a slow man, because this shinigami was faster and both of them had witnessed beings even faster. There just wasn't the time to linger on that though. As fast as it could Auspietschen Atem turned to the side, drawing its arms up at the same. It swung itself backward in the air, making it possible to avoid a pair of the beams. As Auspietschen Atem's arms flew up, its chains crossed in front on it. One of those chains blocked one of the beams, though in the process it nearly broke the chain. The last beam wasn't so luckily blocked. While the doll did all that it could in the short time frame, the final beam hit it in the side, leaving a clear indent on its surface, almost leaving a cut in its metal make up. The doll went flying back to the castle, or what was still left of it. It drew its own blade, stabbing it into the stone structure, bringing itself to a stop before it slammed into a tower or continued to fall toward the ground. It lost complete sight of where the shinigami went. Its master's location was also a complete mystery to it. It remained hanging from the side of the tower, waiting in silence for its next order to come. Meanwhile, Ukyo was launching his own attack to follow up the good work his doll had pulled off. His knife went right into its target, and he couldn't help the way it filled him with excitement as the blood poured from the wound. He didn't get to be that excited for long, at least he shouldn't have been. The man caught sight of him before he could get his second perfect shot with his sword. Well, that was what happened when bitches were fast, and by bitches he meant the dogs this fucker kept summoning up to drive him mad or something. While his sword still drug across skin, it just wasn't as thrilling as fatal wound would have been. In fact, it was just disappointing, barely even a wound. It sucked. Before he could even going about making a second attack, the shinigami caught his wrist. Ukyo tried to pull back on it, remembering how he had been the stronger of the two of them when it came to outright physical power. If he did managed to get his wrist away, it hardly mattered given the time. Before he could do anything, his own knife was being brought down on his shoulder, his sword facing the entirely wrong direction to try and stop it. He braced himself as best as he could, gritting his teeth as the blade plunged past his flash and tore through muscle. He almost regretted taking such good care of the weapon at the point. If he let the thing dull out it wouldn't have been such a clean, easy cut. Whether or not his wrist had been freed seemed to show no purpose, the man having the mind to release it a few moments after anyway. With one arm temporarily out of commission, all Ukyo could pull off was bringing his other arm down to block his torso, the impact of the kick hitting his forearm as opposed to something a bit more dangerous. That of course didn't mean it completely saved him. He still felt the blow running through his arm, and it sent him flying back from where he had come from. He turned around enough that his feet hit the tower first, stopping him from an ugly landing that would have been quite the downfall. He launched himself down toward the roof of a lower part of the castle, landing a bit more sloppily, pain starting to get to him. He had to take a few steps to steady himself, but eventually he got his grip back. Instantly he reached up to his knife, pulling it out of his shoulder with a hiss as it tore more flesh apart. Not only that, but it woke up something inside of him. He was suddenly frozen, his eyes seemed to clear up a bit, the dark circles gone. He looked over curiously to the horrible pain he was feeling, spotting the deep wound on his shoulder, looking like he wasn't even sure how he had gone about getting it. Then he remembered that he had slipped into the dark before as he was trying to warn a shinigami. His head shot up to the air, eyes falling on that same shinigami. Obviously his warning hadn't been taken too seriously. This was bad. He didn't know all of the details, but the man must have been pretty strong if he was able to land a hit on his other self. He doubted he could just turn and run now. He also doubted that he would be given the chance to explain himself before he got his head cut off. Ukyo got a worried look on his face. First thing was first. He dropped the bloody knife, not even caring to retrieve it. He also resheathed his nagamaki. He held his good arm up in the air, though it was shaky. His other side was clearly not done here, and it was taking all that Ukyo had to keep him at bay for the time being. He could only hope the man would see he wasn't attacking, and maybe give him a shot. stats: han:14 rei:15 hak:16 sei:14 buk:18 hoh:15 ⋆ words1008 ✩ notes --
